Greece has no money to pay international law creditors, and the Bundesbank is owed 550 billion euros by debtor banks

From Germany's Deutsche Mittelstands Nachrichten this morning came the news that investors with Greek government bonds issued under international law continue their refusal to take a cut in debt.

The Slog has already posted about the Venizelos Mob raiding University and Hospital bank accounts to pay off the English Law creditors with contracts that were watertight on the 'money now please' thing. Generalised international law is different, but only slightly so: Greece wants them to sacrifice most of their demands, but the remaining investors are rejecting any form debt restructuring.

This impasse was announced by the Greek debt agency yesterday (a Sunday – fancy that) and it seems the amount at stake totals three billion euros. In the past week, the Greek government has tried to agree a rescheduling of the first 539mn euros, but the negotiations failed, following which Athens made it clear that it had no further funds available with which to repay the debt.

This isn't default, it's insolvency. In the commercial sphere, Greece would now be subject to a simple winding up order and refused the right to trade further. But even in the rarified alternative universe of sovereign debt, payment default on the bonds under international law will trigger the usual massively leveraged obligations and derivatives.(Needless to say, it's the Hedgies that are remaining immovable – as I predicted some weeks ago).

But Germany itself is also in a difficult place on the banking front. I've post extensively (and intensively) on the subject of Target 2 at the ECB being used to dump debt onto creditor banks, and the Central Bank, in the eurozone. Now we have some clear accountancy via a website of which I've been hitherto unaware, but to which I shall be returning – called Sober Look. Apt name to have in the current climate.

Sober Look confirms that the German Bundesbank is replete with unwanted assets – bank accounting being such as to pretend that radioactive isotopes are things that your kids could happily play with. As a result of Draghi's LTRO scam, the junk resting within the remit of Jens Weidmann was a cool 50 billion euros higher in February 2012 versus January. At the start of 2009, 50 billion euros was the total owed to the Bundesbank by other eurobanks.

No wonder Jens decided last week that enough was enough. No wonder Jean-Claude Trichet is very happy to be reitred and forgotten.

(NaturalNews) My article published yesterday about 56 billion "habitable" planets in the Milky Way galaxy touched a nerve with a few people on Facebook (http://www.naturalnews.com/035420_human_beings_invasive_species_intel...). They apparently believe that, yes, there is a Creator who created our universe, and yes, that intelligence created 200 - 400 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy alone (not to mention all the other galaxies), but then for some bizarre reason God only created life on ONE planet! Earth!

It is truly astonishing that there are still people living on this planet who hold such a limited, flat-Earth view of reality. If there's anything we've learned about Mother Nature, it's that life is everywhere -- even in places you wouldn't expect it such as frozen ice or boiling-hot ocean vents.

If Earth is the only planet in the universe upon which life exists, what would be the point of creating billions of galaxies, each with billions of planets? Are these all just to serve as interesting dots in the sky, all to amuse just one single "chosen" race of intelligent beings known as humankind? Nonsense!

Interestingly, however, this is probably a common phenomenon among all the races of intelligent beings across our galaxy who look to the sky and think to themselves, "WE must be the only ones here!" There is an anthropocentric tendency among all living creatures, I submit, because each consciousness only experiences the universe from their own individuated point of view. Here on Earth, we joke that teenagers think they are the center of the universe; but the real joke is that much of our adult population quite literally still believes the exact same thing.

I am glad that the vast majority of NaturalNews readers are intelligent, informed, open-minded and have a "big picture" view of reality. They actually appreciate these discussions of the greater universe, consciousness, and the acknowledgement that Mother Nature has left her mark not merely on this one water planet we call Earth, but almost certainly throughout the entire galaxy wherever life may be sustained (and that's a LOT of places).

I cannot imagine living with the belief that the great expanse of the entire universe is dead and lifeless. That sounds not just spiritually empty but physically impossible. How can life NOT start on other water planets when the seeds of life (DNA, amino acids, water, minerals and more) are being flung across the universe in every instant thanks to meteorites and comets slamming into planets? Earth is currently made of pieces of Mars, and Mars, in turn, is made from pieces of Earth.

Pieces of Earth right now reside on the Moon, and every molecule of water that now exists on our planet was brought here from some other planet or comet! Our home is, in a very real sense, a collage of elements, metals, liquids and the seeds of life gathered here from (literally) across the galaxy, warmed by the sun, "blessed" into a life-supporting habitat through the miracle of nuclear fusion.

Even the stuff you are made of -- carbon atoms, water, lipids -- is composed of elements created in the transmutational explosions of dying stars. "We're made of star stuff," the physicist Carl Sagan once said, and he was right. But what the physicists are still missing, of course, is the element of consciousness across the universe. Because a mass of star stuff alone just equals a pile of rock and metals; but humans clearly have consciousness as an added element in the recipe. (And so do all life forms across the universe, by the way, including animals and plants.)

To think that life exists only on Earth is the ultimate pessimism. 
It is, in essence, to believe we are already living in Hell.

In the end, I suppose the belief that Earth is the only planet in the entire universe with intelligent life comes from a self-delusional belief that "We alone are special." Well of course we're special. And so are all the other living, conscious beings that share our universe. We're all special! The fact that this universe even supports life is, itself, a fantastic anomaly. Do you realize that if the laws of physics were tweaked ever so slightly, stars would not be able to use hydrogen as nuclear fuel? No fuel means no suns. No suns equals no habitable planets. Total darkness and death.

And yet, that is not THIS universe! This universe is alive, it is abundant, it is diverse and huge beyond imagination. We are but one intelligent species among billions. Not only are we not alone, but the very idea that we could possibly BE alone is incomprehensible.

Japan's government formally agrees to set up 1000 trillion yen fund but worries about geopoltical ramifications

This week’s newsletter was delayed for a day because of sensitive ongoing negotiations involving the Japanese, Chinese, Russian and US governments among others. The negotiations are still going on as of this writing and there is much we still cannot report. However, we can confirm that the Japanese government has agreed in principle to set up a 1000 trillion yen (12 trillion dollar) fund to be used to end poverty, stop environmental destruction and roll out previously forbidden technology in a responsible manner. The problem now is how to sort out the massive geopolitical repercussions this fund will create.

In what may be a related development, there appears to have been a regime change in China because Xi Xinping, the man widely assumed to be the next president of China has not appeared on the official Chinese Xinhua news site since March 31st, while his erstwhile rival, Li Keqiang, is being given massive coverage. This is only one of many signs of massive changes in planetary governance.

In the US, the Pentagon has begun asking citizens to stock up with 72 hours’ worth of food because of possible disruptions associated with the imminent replacement of the US dollar with a new Treasury dollar, according to CIA sources in California. This move is also expected to be accompanied by a massive clean up operation aimed at draining the corruption out of Wall Street and Washington D.C. in order to restore the US to its former moral and economic greatness.

Any new treasury dollar will initially have much lower international purchasing power than the US dollar now being used. This will make Americans buy made in USA products and will make US exports competitive again. It might be a good time now to go out and buy Chinese stuff at Wal-Mart before it suddenly becomes more expensive. Also, do take the Pentagon’s advice and stock up on food to tide you over the transition.

Another sign that something big is about to happen is that a European CIA source asked the White Dragon Society for the names and addresses of members of the following organizations: the committee of 300, the Bilderberg group, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Club of Rome, the Trilateral Commission and the European Commission. In any case, the most concrete and detailed intelligence available to this writer comes from Japan where government officials say that for technical administrative reasons, it will take a couple of weeks to set up the 1000 trillion yen fund. These reasons include maintaining payrolls, pensions, tax revenues and other administrative nitty gritty. However, there are no goons available now the [to(?)] Kissinger, Nakasone, Bush, Rockefeller, Rothschild, Koizumi old world order people so their removal from power in Japan is a given.

The big question to be solved now is how to set up mechanisms to handle the disbursement of the 1000 trillion yen to the countries of the world. The only thing decided for sure on this issue is that it must no longer be a secret, centralized system held in private hands. There is also an agreement in principle that the Japanese government will administer 500 trillion yen while the new international economic planning agency will get the other 500 trillion.

This agency, tentatively named LIFE (Long Term Investments for Everyone) will finance European and US economic restructuring as well as promote massive development projects in the rest of the world. However, before it can be started, a small planning staff will begin the process of selecting international talent to run the agency. Exactly when this will happen is subject to ongoing negotiations but hopefully the first usable cash will be delivered as early as the middle of this month.

The BRICs nations will, for their part, set up their own, independent fund as announced at the BRICs summit last week. This fund will be run by China, Russia, India, Brazil and South Africa and will presumably use a basket of currencies dominated by the Renminbi and the Ruble. This group will work in close tandem with the G20 nations, according to their declaration:
