Scandal Expands, 16 of the World's Largest Banks Now Implicated In Fraud

state investigation into whether some of the world's biggest banks manipulated
key global interest rates has widened to 16 institutions, according to a source
familiar with the matter. New York state Attorney
General Eric Schneiderman issued subpoenas to nine banks in late August as part
of an investigation into alleged manipulation of the
London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, according to the source, who was
not authorized to speak publicly. The Libor process
generates rates, based on a survey of banks, that are used as benchmarks for
roughly $10 trillion of loans and some $350 trillion of derivatives. Full Story...

A bold, new film defies all political correctness this election season by declaring America’s biggest battle come November won’t be electoral, but spiritual.
For the maker of “300 Million Slaves,” however, there’s no separating the church’s battles from the state’s.
“Our personal freedoms, our economic freedoms, our political freedoms and our religious freedoms – they’re all interconnected,” declares Kirk Elliott, Ph.D., an economist and analyst who wrote and produced the film. “If we lose one of them, we lose all of them.
“When everything is falling apart at the exact same time, it tells me one thing,” says Elliott, “that these are physical manifestations of a spiritual battle being waged. … And when we know what kind of battle it is, we know how to fight it.”
Elliot told WND that this election season, the Christian church can no longer afford to sit silently on the sidelines while agendas in Washington erode the fabric of freedoms Americans enjoy.
“Only about 60 percent of evangelicals are registered to vote, and not all of them actually do vote. So, it’s imperative that the church body as a whole wake up, become active, make their voices heard and vote their values,” Elliot said. “If not, we get what we ask for. Protestants and Catholics are a huge voting block, and if we were as active as some of the more vocal groups, we could make a difference and change our culture.”
“The goal is to equip and empower the viewer to engage in their community and make a difference in the lives of those around us,” Elliott told WND. “We can do this by speaking the truth in love.
“How would Jesus have acted in the political arena?” he asked. “He would have held politicians’ feet to the fire; He would have held them accountable. He would have encouraged them to do the right thing. That’s what we must do if we expect to have a nation left for future generations. This DVD lays out steps of what we can do as a church to engage our community and change our culture. We were created to be world changers, but to be a world changer we cannot remain silent.”

Citing America’s economic woes, a crushing national debt and a culture increasingly bankrupt of biblical morality and politically divided, Elliott warns solutions won’t be found in Republican vs. Democrat, but in light vs. dark.
“We’ve got the politicians we have in this country because the church is asleep at the wheel; and this is exactly how the government wants it,” Elliott explains. “If the church is silent – and not speaking the truth in love – then the only people speaking are the liars. We need to change that.”
“300 Million Slaves” is the clarion call of a movement to mobilize the church, both before and after the election, to break free from the shackles of fear and become a transformative voice in the American culture.
In fact, Elliott proposes Christians don’t stop at merely watching the film or visiting its website, but begin a five-step plan for making an impact, starting with joining a community dubbed Today’s America:

Help a political candidate who shares your biblical values. Your help needs to come through prayer support, with your time, talents and money. If we are going to win this battle it needs to be a team effort, and we have to put some skin in the game.
Run for political office. This isn’t for everyone, but if God calls you to do it, then run and don’t look back. We serve a God who equips those He calls, not necessarily who calls those who seem equipped.
Pray and fast. The Bible clearly instructs us to pray for those in authority over us. We must pray for those we like and dislike. Pray that the Lord would completely overpower them, consume them and work in them and through them.

Finally, Elliott warns, alluding to the title of the film, no person can escape the tyranny that follows when freedoms are lost: “This is a battle for our souls; it really is. Left to our own devices, we will be slaves.”

The Noble gas Engine will be revealed to the World on Dec. 11, 2012 at the Power-Gen conference in Orlando Florida. Inteligentry, TPT, and Plasmerg will have 6 booths in the conference along with companies manufacturing the engine or selling products using the Noble gas engine.
On display will be an engine running a generator/alternator. Since the engine neither consumes fuel or expells waste, it can be run inside. It has no intake or exhaust. The engine on display will be a two cylinder noble gas plasma engine and possibly a prototype four cylinder engine. The six cylinder will come out some where around July or August 2013.
Researchers think it will run for at least 1 1/2 years 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on one noble gas fill, maybe even longer. One prototype of an earlier version of the engine has now run 1 1/2 years in Michigan. Others are in testing in locations around the world according to John Rohner.
When it hits the world will feel the ground shake, This will have a huge impact on oil companies and internal combustion engine and part manufacturers. The noble gas engine has no carburetor, valves, intake/ exhaust manifold, gas tanks.
This will make solar, and wind obsolete (they are much more expensive). The biggest impact will be in transportation (cars, trucks, ships/boats, trains and planes). Its impact won't stop there. Nuclear generation will feel it too. Then of course the Environmental benefits are absolutely NO carbon monoxide or carbond dioxide (CO2). Global warming due to carbon dioxide emissions will be a non-issue. Upon adoption, CO2 levels will start to drop.
This will have BIG opposition from vested interests who make huge profits from carbon fuels. It will be be a big fight! So when this comes out SUPPORT IT... SCREAM AND YELL "WE NEED THIS NOW" They'll be less likely to try to kill it. This is a huge advance for our health and the health of the planet.

has uncovered an overseas plot to steal the identities of millions of people in
South Carolina. WLTX
received a tip earlier this week about the breach, and they began asking
questions. They partnered with the Greenville News and USA TODAY to get you the
information about this situation. State
and federal confirmed the South Carolina Department of Revenue's website was
hacked by someone in a foreign country. The agency is responsible for 32
separate state taxes, licenses, and your state income tax returns, and that
contains your information. The
first breach occurred on August 27, 2012 although we are told no information
was taken at that time. On October 10, the SC Division of Information
Technology informed the Dept. of Revenue of a potential cyber attack. On
October 16, investigators uncovered two attempts to probe the system from
September. In mid-September, two other intrusions occurred, and the hacker got
data for the first time. The
extent of the breach was massive: an estimated 3.6 million Social Security
numbers and 387,000 credit and debit card numbers were exposed. Just 16,000 of
these credit card numbers were not encrypted; however, none of the Social
Security numbers were. For
perspective, there are almost 4.7 million South Carolinians, according to the
2012 U.S. Census, meaning three out of four people's Social Security numbers
were compromised. State
Law Enforcement Division Chief Mark Keel told WLTX exclusively that this is one
of the biggest investigations he has ever been a part of in his career. They
have been working to secure your information. The state is offering credit
counseling to those affected. Anyone
who has paid taxes in South Carolina since 1998 should call 1-866-578-5422.
The phone line is busy, but keep trying, you will get through and the process

Mandiant,
a top information security company, says they are assisting in the investigation.
They are also helping to secure the state's system, and are installing new
equipment and software. Meanwhile,
Governor Nikki Haley promised action against the person responsible. "I
want that man just brutalized," she said. "I want him slammed against

Police
hope to interview New York nanny in children stabbing

(Reuters) - New York police on Friday are hoping to interview the critically
wounded nanny suspected of stabbing to death two children of a CNBC television
executive in the family's luxury Manhattan apartment, a police official said.
The New York
Police Department official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the
nanny, identified as Yoselyn Ortega, remains sedated in critical condition at a
Manhattan hospital. Ortega, 50, who police say cut her own throat, has not been
charged because police have not been able to interview her.
The official said
Ortega remains the prime suspect in the stabbing death of two children, Leo, 2,
and Lulu, 6. Police hoped to interview
the nanny later on Friday, the official said.
The children's
mother, Marina Krim, discovered the bodies of the little boy and girl at about
5:30 p.m. Thursday in their apartment less than a block from Central Park on
Manhattan's affluent Upper West Side, police said.
A CNBC spokesman
released a statement Friday expressing the "sadness we all feel" for
CNBC executive Kevin Krim and his wife. The couple's "unimaginable loss
... is without measure."
New York Police
Department spokesman Paul Browne said the children suffered "multiple stab
wounds," and were pronounced dead after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
"It's about
the worst thing you can hear or imagine," Browne said at a news briefing
Thursday night.
The nanny was
found lying on the bathroom floor and had stabbed herself in the neck, police
said. A bloody kitchen knife lay on the floor nearby, police said.
The mother had
returned home with a third child, 3-year-old Nessie, after the girl's swimming
lesson, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said at a media briefing.
She saw that the
apartment was dark and returned to the lobby to ask the doorman if the nanny
and kids had gone out, he said. The doorman said no, and she returned to the
apartment and made the grisly discovery, he said.
A neighbor heard
the mother's screams and called 911, police said. Kevin Krim, the
children's father, had been en route home from a business trip
at the time, and was met by police at the airport and notified of the tragedy,
police said.
Krim is a senior
vice president and general manager of CNBC Digital. He moved to CNBC in March
from Bloomberg LLP, where he was global head of Bloomberg Digital. A graduate
of Harvard University, Krim was also a former executive at Yahoo.
Neighbors said the
children's mother was a pediatrician.
The final entry in
an online blog that Marina Krim maintained to document her daily life with her
children was dated Thursday, hours before the discovery.
"Leo speaks
in the most adorable way possible," she wrote. "And he does things
like, "(I) want a fresh bagel" and "Dito (what he calls himself)
wants cold milk" and most adorable of all, "No thank you" - he
never uses "No" alone, it's always paired with "thank you."

News confirmed that the blog - which contains pictures of the Krim family - as
Krim's.

from the private U.S. security firm Stratfor cite a Mexican diplomat who says the U.S. government works with
Mexican cartels to traffic drugs into the United Statesandhas sided with the Sinaloa cartel in an attempt to limit the violence
in Mexico.
An
email with the subject “Re:
From MX1 — 2” sent Monday, April 19, 2010, to Stratfor vice president of
intelligence Fred Burton says: I think the US sent
a signal that could be construed as follows: “To the [Juárez] and
Sinaloa cartels: Thank
you for providing our market with drugs over the years. We are now concerned
about your perpetration of violence, and would like to see you stop that. In this regard, please know that
Sinaloa is bigger and better than [the Juárez cartel]. Also note that [Ciudad Juárez] is
very important to us, as is the whole border. In this light, please talk
amongst yourselves and lets all get back to business. Again, we recognize that Sinaloa is bigger
and better, so either [the Juárez cartel] gets in line or we will mess you up.”
In
sum, I have a gut feeling that the US agencies tried to send a signal telling
the cartels to negotiate themselves. They unilaterally
declared a winner, and this is unprecedented, and deserves
analysis. Bill Conroy of Narco News reports that
MX1′s description matches the publicly available information on Fernando de la Mora
Salcedo — a Mexican foreign service officer who studied
law at the University of New Mexico and served at the Mexican
Consulates in El Paso, Texas, and Phoenix.
In a June 13, 2010, email with the subject “Re:
Get follow up from mx1? Thx,” MX1 states that U.S. and Mexican law
enforcement sent their “signal” by discretely brokering a deal with cartels in
Tijuana, just south of San Diego, Calif., which reduced the violence in the
area considerably.
It
is not so much a message for the Mexican government as it is for the Sinaloa
cartel and [the Juárez cartel] themselves. Basically, the message they want to send out is
that Sinaloa is winning and that the violence is unacceptable. They want the CARTELS to negotiate
with EACH OTHER. The idea is that if they can do this, violence will drop and
the governments will allow controlled drug trades.
The email went on to say that “the
major routes and methods for bulk shipping into the US” from
Ciudad Juárez, right across the border from El Paso, Texas, ”havealready been negotiated with US
authorities” and that large shipments of drugs from the Sinaloa
cartel “are OK with the Americans.”
In
July a Mexican state
government spokesman told Al Jazeera
that the CIA and other international security forces “don’t fight drug
traffickers” as much as “try
to manage the drug trade.” A mid-level Mexican official told
Al Jazeera
that based on discussions he’s had with U.S. officials working in Ciudad
Juárez, the allegations were true.

published 2,878 out of
what it says is a cache of 5 million internal Stratfor emails (dated between
July 2004 and December 2011) obtained by the hacker collective Anonymous around
Christmas.
