'GMO products cause cancer and obesity' - food safety expert

Russia is firm: no genetically modified organisms in food production, the head of Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture Nikolay Fyodorov stated at the All-Russian Meeting of Agrarians. GMO-foods controversies between scientists, ecologists and producers have a long history. Russia, which is now going organic, has faced these problems just recently.
The battle is being waged by two camps: while scientists lack arguments and evidence that GMO is harmful, huge and powerful production corporation have resources and political links. Scientists say they will need another couple of decades for a comprehensive research, but some threats are obvious already now, says Biology Professor and international expert on eco and food safety Dr. Irina Ermakova:
"These organisms are all dangerous because the very technology of their production is far from being perfect ­– it features pathogenic bacteria and viruses. When scientists tested the aftermath of GMO-produce on animals, they were horrified with the results – cancer and obesity. So the best things would be to ban such foods at all, as European countries do".
Today Russia is one of the largest global manufacturers of GMO-free grain. This agricultural year, its grain exports can account for 20 million tons. Environmentally friendly production can become Russia’s qualitative advantage in the world market. However, the share of such production is still insignificant, experts say, so it’s rather about the country’s agricultural potential. It can be used at full capacity after changes in the legislation, believes the editor-in-chief of the Agrarian Review magazine Konstantin Lysenko:
"We have no legislation which defines organic production. And potentially Russia can flood the planet with such foods, as GMO-farming is banned in the country. But the reality is that, practically, all soy cultivated in the world is genetically modified as well as some 20% of corn ".
Meanwhile the Russian government suggested to manage the use of GMOs cultures. Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev ordered to probe if Russia has any such crops and compile a database of all imports. Then a legislative decision will follow.

He who is daily living in harshness, impurity, or unhappiness is day by day adding to the sum of the world's misery; whereas he who continually lives in goodwill, and does not depart from happiness, is day by day increasing the sum of the world's happiness, and this independently of any religious beliefs which these may or may not hold.

He who has not learned how to be gentle, or giving, loving and happy, has learned very little, great though his book-learning and profound his acquaintance which the letter of Scripture may be, for it is in the process of becoming gentle, pure, and happy that the deep, real and enduring lessons of life are learned. Unbroken sweetness of conduct in the face of all outward antagonism is the infallible indication of a self-conquered soul, the witness of wisdom, and the proof of the possession of Truth.

A sweet and happy soul is the ripened fruit of experience and wisdom, and it sheds abroad the invisible yet powerful aroma of its influence, gladdening the hearts of others, and purifying the world. And all who will, and who have not yet commenced, may begin this day, if they will so resolve, to live sweetly and happily, as becomes the dignity of a true manhood or womanhood. Do not say that your surroundings are against you. Is this too difficult for you? Then unrest and unhappiness will continue to dwell with you. Your belief and aspiration and resolve are all that are necessary to make it easy, to render it in the near future a thing accomplished, a blessed state realized.

Despondency, irritability, anxiety and complaining, condemning and grumbling - all these are thought - cankers, mind - diseases; they are the indications of a wrong mental condition, and those who suffer therefrom would do well to remedy their thinking and conduct. It is true there is much sin and misery in the world, so that all our love and compassion are needed, but our misery is not needed - there is already too much of that. No, it is our cheerfulness and happiness that are needed for there is too little of that. We can give nothing better to the world than beauty of life and character; without this, all other things are vain; this is pre-eminently excellent; it is enduring, real, and not to be overthrown, and it includes all joy and blessedness. Cease to dwell pessimistically upon the wrongs around you; dwell no more in complaints about, and revolt against, the evil in others, and commence to live free from all wrong and evil yourself. Peace of mind, pure religion, and true reform lie this way. If you would have others true, be true; if you would have the world emancipated from misery and sin, emancipate yourself; if you would have your home and your surroundings happy, be happy. You can transform everything around you if you will transform yourself.

Medical (business) truths about the cancer industry
Did you know the average conventional cancer treatment costs over $300,000? Yet, most natural cancer remedies costs a few thousand dollars or less. So if cancer patients could effectively be treated for so much less money - why hasn't it been done?

Dr. Robert Atkins, one of the pioneers of complementary medicine in the United States, once said: "There is not one, but many cures for cancer available. But they are all being systematically suppressed by the ACS, the NCI and the major oncology centers. They have too much of an interest in the status quo."

Cancer news you won't hear on television
According to Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez and many other cancer experts, the "conventional medical world" really has NO interest in natural (nutritional) cures for cancer. The lame-stream media is corporately controlled by its advertisers (e.g. Big Pharma) and medical research is ONLY funded by pharmaceutical companies. But the news gets worse!

According to Dr. Gonzalez, conventional oncology used to promote bone marrow transplants as a powerful high-tech treatment for women with advanced or poor prognosis breast cancer. In fact, by the mid-1990's, the medical community was so excited - they called this therapy "standard of care" - without any real evidence that it worked! A coordinated effort by oncologist, media and trial lawyers forced insurance companies to pay for this procedure, which cost up to $450,000 per transplant.

There's only one BIG problem - 10-30 percent of those willing to undergo the treatment - died! (and that's not all).

Scientific fraud within the cancer industry
Thanks to a few honest oncologists - actual studies were preformed to determine whether the bone marrow transplants actually helped women with breast cancer. Eventually, with great resistance, five studies were completed - four showed the therapy was no more effective than standard chemotherapy against breast cancer and one study ("very positive") was ultimately proven to be completely fraudulent!

Even Dr. Gonzalez has witnessed the underhanded tactics of cancer agencies, like the National Cancer Institute, which undermined his successful methods of treating pancreatic cancer without radiation or chemotherapy. But, his story would need to be told another day.

The cost of cancer treatment rose dramatically between 1991 and 2002, sparking fears that many people may be going without the most effective treatment, according to a study conducted by researchers from the National Cancer Institute.

Researchers used data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End-Results (SEER) Medicare database to examine the costs of initial cancer treatments in 306,709 breast, colorectal, lung and prostate cancer patients over the age of 65. These treatments included surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and other hospitalization.

Over the ten-year period studied, the average cost of breast cancer treatment increased $4,189 to $20,964. The average cost of treating prostate cancer increased $5,435 to $41,134, while the average cost of lung cancer treatment went up $7,139 to $39,891.

The researchers attributed the increasing cost to an increase in the use of chemotherapy. The introduction of newer, more expensive drugs occurred so recently that it is unlikely to have influenced the numbers in the current study, they said - meaning that the cost of cancer treatment is probably already much higher than the numbers for 2002.

Researchers noted that increasing costs are placing a strain on Medicare and have led to changes in its reimbursement policy. This, in turn, can influence patients' ability to afford the most effective treatment.

"There were changes to Medicare payment policy over the period of this study," said Len Lichtenfeld, deputy chief medical officer of the American Cancer Society, "and they had significant impact on how physicians were reimbursed. The net result is that it may have influenced practice patterns that we are seeing, such as the transition from surgery and radiation therapy for prostate cancer."

The average cost paid for prostate cancer treatment actually decreased slightly ($196) to $18,261, an effect that researchers attributed to the decreasing popularity of expensive surgery.

"Some people are not able to afford [more expensive] treatments," Lichtenfeld said. "The increased use of expensive chemotherapy is having an impact on how we treat cancer patients."

Trapdoor:  That budget is actually great news for us! It is estimated that before Iraq started pulling in the three zero currency, there was just over 30 trillion dinar in circulation. That budget means they would have to create 6 times more currency, physically or digitally, to support that. In an emerging economy, that would be devastating and create a hyper inflationary event that they would never recover from.

Trapdoor: So, take that 174 trillion budget and divide it by 1166 (assuming only a 1:1 RV) and you get a more reasonable 147 billion dollar budget. At $3.50 it would be about 42 billion. I think that budget was written to reflect the rates they know are coming and will only have to readjust the numbers post RV.

Trapdoor: 174 trillion budget is not sustainable. They will have to more than increase their money supply by 6X. That goes against all the work they have done to remove currency from circulation. That budget has to be based on an RVed dinar and they are waiting to adjust those numbers post RV. At 1:1 that is 147 billion or at $3.50 it is out 42 billion. Both are realistic. Leaving it the way it is would be a catastrophe.

Putting out the fire of gastritis
Hi John
I love a good comedy and one of my favorite comedy movies of all time is "The Mask" with Jim Carrey.
If you haven't seen it, it's about how Carrey's mild-mannered, socially awkward character (Stanley Ipkiss) is transformed into a wacky, lovable, green-faced super-hero when he puts on a magic mask.
One of the funniest scenes is when Stanley swallows a bunch of lit dynamite that is about to blow Cameron Diaz's character into bits.  After letting out a fiery burp, he exclaims, "That's a spicy meatball!"
But many people are living a reality of a stomach on fire that's NOT so funny.
They feel like a fire-breathing dragon no matter what they eat, and find themselves grasping for antacids and sleeping propped up on pillows on a regular basis.
This "stomach on fire" is called gastritis.
Here's the scoop on this nasty fire-in-the-gut as well as ways you can help put out the flames if you've got it.
The fire down below
You typically don't hear that much about gastritis--it's not as "popular" as acid reflux or GERD but that doesn't mean that a lot of people aren't suffering.
Simply put, gastritis is inflammation in the lining of your stomach.
It can be temporary and last just a short time (known as acute gastritis) or become more gnawing and long-term in nature (aka chronic gastritis).
People who have gastritis can experience a number of symptoms that include:

• Loss of appetite
• Nausea
• Vomiting after eating
• Abdominal pain or cramping
• Black stools
• Vomiting of blood
• Vomiting coffee ground-like material

Definitely some not-so-subtle signs that something is seriously awry in YOUR gullet. 
I'm not a rock...I'm not an island
Gastritis is not truly a "stand alone" condition--instead the painful inflammation is typically caused by a variety of culprits that can include:

• Long-term use of medications like aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen
• Excessive alcohol consumption
• H. Pylori infection (the same bacteria that causes ulcers)
• Autoimmune diseases
• Backflow of bile into the stomach (bile reflux)
• Extreme, chronic stress
• Viral infection
• Trauma or injury
• A severe, sudden illness such as major surgery or kidney failure

Many different causes but just one answer?
Since gastritis is an inflamed stomach, the typical treatment suggestion for it is...you guessed it...acid reducers. 
Stomach acid is a very popular scapegoat and is commonly seen as a "bad guy" when people have GI problems like acid reflux, GERD and gastritis, but nothing could be farther from the truth!
On the contrary, you NEED stomach acid for these 2 VERY important reasons:

1. To break down your foods, specifically proteins
2. To kill dangerous bacteria and pathogens that you ingest

Here's a little more detail on both of those:
1- The break down
You MUST have acid to properly break down your foods, especially proteins.
This isn't my opinion -- it's a biological fact. And if your stomach doesn't have enough of it because you've taken acid reducers, your digestion can S-L-O-W way down or even stop.
Now, your stomach is smart. When it senses this is happening, it tries to get things moving again by doing what it does best--secreting more acid.
But then it gets "shut down" by the drug and digestion gets interrupted again.
This cycle can go on and on for 8 hours or more!
And the end result is a poorly digested, rotting food mass (which can lead to gas, bloating and constipation as it moves through your intestines) and LOTS of excess acid in your stomach...
Which, of course, can slide up into your throat and make you a fire-breathing dragon.
So in other words, your symptoms continue or even get WORSE -- not better.
2- Armed guard
The hydrochloric acid in your stomach is your front line of defense against dangerous toxins, bacteria and even carcinogens (cancer-causing substances) that you ingest with your food or from the environment.
But when your stomach acid is suppressed or neutralized by acid reducers, it can’t do its important job of protecting you.
So those toxins have a wide open door into your intestinal tract!
From there they can get absorbed into your bloodstream, and heaven help you after that.  Any area of your body is fair game to suffer, because your blood vessels go everywhere.
Safer, better answers
Instead of disabling your stomach acid, a far safer and more effective approach to ease the inflammation of gastritis involves these three things:
1) Pull it up by the roots
With gastritis it's vital to look at the root cause behind it and then do whatever you can to alleviate it.
For example, if you're under a lot of stress, take advantage of de-stressing measures. 
Exercise, meditation, counseling, prayer, yoga, deep breathing, taking up a hobby or adopting a pet have all been shown to be helpful.
If you hit the booze too much...it's time to cut back or quit altogether.  Get help if you need it and feel you can't do it on your own. 
And if you're taking anti-inflammatories or pain relievers on a regular basis, it's time to talk to your doctor about alternatives.

MORE ON THE EPIDEMIC OF “SUICIDED” BANKSTERS

Well it was bound to happen sooner or later folks… one simply cannot have a “suicide” of five bankers (and rumors of a suspicious death of a reporter as well)in as many weeks – one by “nail gun” – without people eventually catching another whiff of that foul odor emanating from the granite halls and green topped-tabled boardrooms of crony crapitalism isn’t entirely coincidental. Indeed, what Vegas bookmaker or insurance actuary would lay odds that it is? I rather suspect few would…

The internet is, of course, already abuzz with theories, including one that there is a “hit list” of 43 banksters to be “taken out” because they know too much.

The question is, know too much about what?

One individual points out that the epidemic of “suicides” is occurring as there are continued investigations of market rigging and FOREX (foreign exchange, i.e., currency) manipulation and fixing, and that none of the suicided bankers appeared to have any history of depression, yet, they all suddenly decide to kill themselves.

But there is one article that caught my eye, and it’s this one:

JPMorgan Vice President’s Death in London Shines a Light on the Bank’s Close Ties to the CIA

For those not wanting to read the article through in its entirety, here is the central core:

“One reason that JPMorgan may have such a spooky feel is that it has aligned itself in no small way with real-life spooks, the CIA kind.

“Just when the public was numbing itself to the endless stream of financial malfeasance which cost JPMorgan over $30 billion in fines and settlements in just the past 13 months, we learned on January 28 of this year that a happy, healthy 39-year old technology Vice President, Gabriel Magee, was found dead on a 9^th level rooftop of the bank’s 33-story European headquarters building in the Canary Wharf section of London.

“The way the news of this tragic and sudden death was stage-managed by highly skilled but invisible hands, turning a demonstrably suspicious incident into a cut-and-dried suicide leap from the rooftop (devoid of eyewitnesses or  motivation) had all the hallmarks of a sophisticated covert operation or coverup.

“The London Evening Standard newspaper reported the same day that ‘A man plunged to his death from a Canary Wharf tower in front of thousands of horrified commuters today.’ Who gave that completely fabricated story to the press? Commuters on the street had no view of the body because it was 9 floors up on a rooftop – a rooftop that is accessible from a stairwell inside the building, not just via a fall from the roof. Adding to the suspicions, Magee had emailed his girlfriend the evening before telling her he was finishing up and would be home shortly.”

This is entirely in line with my own high octane speculations that there was and is a hidden system of finance, based on three fundamental pillars:

1. Use of World War Two Axis loot – with the knowledge and participation of their former Axis enemies – by the USA’s and UK’s national security establishment. This is in the form of massive amounts of bullion, which
2. Was kept off the books and used as a reserve to create enormous amounts of post-war credit, in conjunction with the other kind of “gold,” drug money, and in conjunction with mortgage and derivatives fraud;
3. This gold was further rehypothecated over and over again, until the covert, and overt, supplies of bullion were intermixed… thus, there is probably more bullion, maybe even much more in existence, than any “official” estimates acknowledge… keeping this amount, and the mixture of the hidden and overt supplies of bullion, would be an ongoing national security “concern” once such a system was implemented.

Now, there is a fourth component to all of this, and that is its enormous implication, for by creating such a system in the aftermath of World War Two, what it effectively means is that the real players are no longer the central banks, but the intelligence apparatus. In short, the American national security apparatus became a covert player, it entered the banking business.

When this context is factored into one’s analysis, it becomes clear why a title man (Richard Talley) would be “suicided,” for it becomes entirely feasible that he discovered fraud in the system, and one might speculate that such fraud may have gone to the extent that many foreclosed and “flipped” properties on the market may not even have clear titles at all…

Pondering that possibility then leads to the next possibility, for in order to make such a scheme work, inevitably one has to have people infiltrated into the prime banks participating in the scheme, to keep the double sets of books… and someone like the head of JP Morgan’s Trades and Programming would either clearly be able to see evidence of this, or be perhaps involved at some level. Additionally, as I’ve also indicated many times, it’s my opinion that the vast electronic snooping operation being run by the West is in reality a financial system, the “ultimate insiders’ trading mechanism” as former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Catherine Austin Fitts likes to say. Such vast surveillance capabilities thus symbolize yet another level of penetration by the national security apparatus into the financial sector, and it may be a penetration so extensive as to wrest the final components of a bank’s independence and freedom from it… this too, might be what some of these unfortunate bankers have discovered prior to being “sucided".

The bad, or is it good, news is that the level of coordination between the two – banking and intelligence – is being exposed… and the pattern is an old one folks: think Venice, the Venetian oligarchy, the Rialto banks, and the Council of Ten….

Genetically Modified Grass Begins Releasing Cyanide, Kills Texas Cattle
Tifton 85 Cyanide Grass is killing cows
When a herd of cattle suddenly died in Central Texas investigators were dispatched to the scene to investigate and now preliminary test results are blaming the animals deaths on the genetically modified grass the cows were consuming.
The cows which were grazing on an 80-acre patch owned by Jerry Abel in Elgin, Texas died several weeks ago.
Abel tells CBS Station KEYE that the grass should have been perfect since it had “a lot of leaf, it’s good grass, tested high for protein – it should have been perfect.”
The grass was a form of Bermuda known as Tifton 85** (see end of article) and it has been around for 15 years on the Abel farm. Unfortunately something went horribly wrong several weeks ago and according to Abel:
“When our trainer first heard the bellowing, he thought our pregnant heifer may be having a calf or something. But when he got down here, virtually all of the steers and heifers were on the ground. Some were already dead, and the others were already in convulsions.”
It turns out that the grass for some unknown reason began producing cyanide gas which is poisonous to cattle.
Other farms quickly began testing their fields and while no other cattle deaths have been reported at least several farmers found toxic cyanide in their Tifton 85 grass.
According to the Examiner the grass which has suffered from drought conditions for the last several years is now being dissected by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to see if some type of strange mutation may have occurred.
Update: **The original report we received stated that the grass was a GMO version of Tifton 85. In fact it was a hybridized version of the product. A change in the original report was listed months after the original report surfaced via several mainstream publications. Please note the differences between hybridized grass and GMO grass.
