List of United States federal executive orders

The following is an incomplete list of United States federal executive orders.
At the federal level of government in the United States, laws are made almost exclusively by legislation. Such legislation originates as an Act of Congress passed by the Congress of the United States (and its predecessor, the Continental Congress); such acts were either signed into law by the President or passed by Congress after a presidential veto.
However, legislation is not the only source of regulations which have the force of law. There is also judge-made common law and constitutional law. The President can issue executive orders pursuant to a grant of discretion from Congress, or under the inherent powers that office holds to deal with certain matters of foreign policy.
Many early executive orders were not recorded. The State Department began numbering executive orders in the early 20th century, starting retroactively from President Abraham Lincoln's Executive Order Establishing a Provisional Court in Louisiana issued in 1862.

• 1962: Executive Order 10990 reestablished the Federal Safety Council
• 1962: Executive Order 11051 was revoked by Executive Order 12148: Specifies the duties and responsibilities of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put ALL executive orders into effect in times deemed to be of increased international tension, economic crisis, and/or financial crisis

• 1969: Executive Order 11478: Prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, or age in the competitive service of the federal civilian workforce, which includes civilians employed by the armed forces and by federal contractors and contractors performing under federally assisted construction contracts.^[15] Some categories were added by Executive Order 13087 in 1998 and Executive Order 13152 in 2000.

SPY BREAK-IN AT SENATOR LANDRIEU’S OFFICE COMPROMISED NATIONAL SECURITY AT HIGHEST LEVELS

This week, a “Watergate” type attack on the Federal Building in New Orleans was thwarted when 4 “black bag” operatives, one the son of US Attorney, William J. Flannigan, whose offices were in the same building, were arrested “in the act.”
Another of the men, James O’Keefe is a close associate of Texas Republican and Member of Congress, Pete Olson.  Olson’s campaign to recover convicted Rep. Tom Delay’s seat from the Democrats was financed by rogue billionaire Dan Duncan, noted for his helicopter/machinegun trophy hunting trips to Russia.
Suspects, even American citizens, who commit crimes like this one are sent to Guantanamo, subjected to “waterboarding” and years of detention, unless, of course, they have friends in high places, friends who want terrorists dealt with harshly unless those terrorists are their friends or family.

HELICOPTER HUNTS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT BUT ADVOCATED FOR U.S. BY SARAH PALIN

Representative Olson has failed to comment on the nature of his relationship with O’Keefe.  Olson has referred to the now jailed O’Keefe as a great American hero.  31 GOP members of Congress concur.  They can now visit their “hero” in prison.  As for O’Keefe’s heroic act, nobody has been able to figure that out yet.  Does spying on the United States count?

In an odd turn, when 46 year old Olson collapsed from heart failure, he was saved by Rahm Emanual, President Obama’s Chief of Staff.  Olson now has a pacemaker as does his other close associate and advisor, former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Senator Mary Landreiu is senior member of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, making her office and communications the most classified of any elected official in the United States outside the President.  Nearly every national secret involving the security of the United States passes through those offices.  Information accessed thru the attempted wiretap and break in could enable any terrorist organization full access to our most sensitive materials regarding counter-terrorism, intelligence coordination and active ongoing operations.
Information under the highest classification levels from the FBI, CIA, NSA, DIA, DHS , NSC and White house along with secure “chatter” between House and Senate members and their staffers on homeland security issues would have been accessed.  On the “intelligence market,” as described by former FBI translator, Sibel Edmonds, information of this kind is regularly accessed and sold by individuals directly connected to those arrested, sold to enemies of the United States.  We are still waiting for the Attorney General to act on these now very substantiated allegations.
COVER STORY
The MSM is presenting this act of espionage as an attempt by neo-Conservatives to get information to blackmail Senator Landrieu on issues involving voter registration efforts.  However, there is no reason to believe any information of that kind was in that office nor could any information obtained thru this method be used in anything but a felonious manner.
Senator Landrieu, though Committee Chairman would not have been an office involved in an investigation of “ACORN” or any such group.  The Sub-Committee for Permanent Investigations is chaired by Senator Carl Levin.  His office is in the McNamara Federal Building in Detroit, over a thousand miles away.  None of the alleged spies had parents with offices conveniently located in the building with Senator Levin nor would Senator Levin have had the wealth of information valued by foreign intelligence services that could have been accessed from Senator Landrieu.
TIES TO ISRAEL
Those arrested had worked for “journalist” Andrew Beitbart, known Israeli Supporter and prominent voice of powerful Israeli advocate Rupert Murdoch thru his Fox News network and Wall Street Journal.  Breitbart is linked to the neo-con controlled Townhall.com and Drudge.com, known for their consistently anti-administration views.  Breitbart denies that any of those arrested, though closely associated with him, were acting directly under his orders when the espionage occurred.
SENATE HOMELAND SECURITY COMMITTEE
Current hearings held by the Senate Homeland Security Committee chaired by Landireu, hearings subject to this espionage attack involve:

• Intelligence reform in the aftermath of the Christmas terrorist attack
• Overviews of contracting corruption in Afghanistan
• Planning for securing America’s diplomats around the world
• The Terrorist Reform and Terrorist Prevention Act (IRTPA)
• Investigating the root causes of the Ft. Hood attack
• Securing America from financial crimes
• America’s Defense from Cyber Attack
• Development plans for “post surge” Afghanistan

Current investigations by the Sub-Committee on Investigations are:

• Speculation in trading and how it effects national security
• How US banks help overseas corporation dodge US taxes
• Report on Tax Havens hiding billions from the IRS
• Massive abuses of government credit cards by employees
• Ending “offshore secrecy” to allow the US to recover billions in tax shortfall
• Shell Oil credit card interest abuses
• Medicaid abuse and equipment overcharges
• Billions in unpaid taxes on Medicaid income by American doctors
• Speculation in the energy markets costing American consumers billions a year
• Failures in United Nations reform, waste and corruption
• Speculation and manipulation that controls and rigs crude oil and gasoline markets
• and many many more

• The Senate HSC is responsible for implementing all intelligence reforms resulting from the findings of the 9/11 commission especially in light of continued failures as demonstrated by the Ft. Hood tragedy and the Detroit terror attack.

Current contracting oversight responsibilities:

• Overseeing all USAID reconstruction contracts in Afghanistan
• Investigating massive corruption tied to the US Embassy in Kabul
• Overseeing all US contractors used in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world in regard to corrupt practices and cost overruns
• Detecting and Prosecuting Contractor Fraud

Scope of the Potential Espionage Penetraton
The current subjects listed above are all of a nature that the security of the United States could be compromised by the access of documents, emails, faxes, phone calls or “bugging” of offices.  In fact, every aspect of the security of the United States and every effort to investigate wrongdoing and corruption by companies doing business with the US government passes thru this system.
We have these questions to ask:

• Who would have employed these individuals to attempt espionage at this level?
• What are the potential markets for such information and what is the potential value?  Billions?
• Why have no MSM news services reported the facts in this case?
• Has acting US Attorney for Western Louisiana, William J. Flannigan, whose son is among those arrested still actively employed and has he been interrogated by the security services of the United States in a manner consistent to his potential involvement in this serious act of espionage using methodologies he supported for other?

WITHOUT WOODWARD AND BERNSTEIN, WILL THE STORY SIMPLY DIE?
In light of the Edmonds testimony, do we consider that our spies were working for Turkey, Israel or the ISI of Pakistan or the RAW of India?  Were they working for the oil companies, tax cheats or Blackwater, all under investigation from this office.  Were they getting secrets to sell terrorists planning to attack the United States?  Was aiding in the planning of a terrorist attack, lets say, prior to the congressional elections, a priority?
Does this go along with the political connections and beliefs of this group?  Would they be willing to see hundreds or even thousands of Americans die to further their extremist political agenda?  Are there Americans like this?
You don’t break into a Rolls Royce dealership to steal a mop ringer.
Imagine the access.  A Homeland Security Committee member with an office in New Orleans and a spy with a father who is the US Attorney, allowing total cover for an espionage operation and, with a little luck, a safe haven inside the building itself.
No TV spy could be given such advantages or such protections, especially the protections of the press blackout that we are seeing now, seemingly manipulated through Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, Rupert Murdock and friends.  Is Andrew Bretbart, Brentwood resident, pro-Israeli activist and ultra-right winger at the heart of this?  Is anyone asking?  Is anyone looking?

Warren Buffett has given $1.2 billion to abortion groups

May 13, 2014, marks one year since Philadelphia abortion Dr. Kermit Gosnell was convicted of first-degree murder “in the deaths of three babies who were delivered alive and then killed with scissors at his grimy, ‘house of horrors’ clinic,” according to the Associated Press. Gosnell instantly became the face of abortion in the prolife community.

But there’s another, more recognizable face pushing abortion in the U.S. – liberal billionaire Warren Buffett. The so-called “Oracle of Omaha” has donated more than $1.2 billion to abortion organizations from 2001 to 2012.

That’s equal to the cost of roughly 2.7 million first-trimester abortions – more than twice the number of abortions that occur in an entire year in the United States. Unlike Gosnell, however, everything Buffett has done has been entirely legal. But Buffett does share something else in common with the abortionist. Both their stories have been largely unreported.

Imagine the equivalent of the lives of 2.7 million children snuffed out to serve the whims of the third richest man in the world. Most people would say that’s a story, most likely several.

Oh no, supporters will cry. Planned Parenthood, NARAL and other similar groups do more than just abortions. And Buffett does more than fund the abortion industry. But that is the core of his agenda, just as it is theirs.

Buffett’s own charity, The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, is named after his first wife who was an abortion supporter. Its domestic operation is led by pro-abortion activist Tracy Weitz, Ph.D., MPA. Weitz has worked at Planned Parenthood, The Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health and once defined abortion as “a moral action undertaken by moral agents.”

None of that is obvious from the charity’s website. It includes information on college scholarships and the “Alice Buffett Outstanding Teacher Award.” Neither that award, for “Outstanding Omaha Public School Teachers (K –12),” nor the scholarships even hint at the darker direction of the massive charity.

The site itself seems deliberately insular. Copyrights on the pages read “2008” and the charity makes it clear: “The Buffett Foundation responds to questions about College Scholarships and the Alice Buffett Outstanding Teacher Award only. We will not respond to any other inquiries.”

No wonder. They wouldn’t want to damage Warren Buffett’s incredible media profile by telling the nearly half of America that is prolife how he spends some of his billions. Lord knows the American media would never do that.

Since 2001, there has only been one tangential mention of Buffett’s support for abortion on the broadcast TV network morning and evening news shows. It wasn’t even really about Buffett. It was the NBC “Nightly News” obituary for his wife and it included her support for Planned Parenthood. That’s out of at least 545 appearances or mentions of the Berkshire Hathaway chairman and CEO.

Nowhere did the media explain how Buffett has given $289,811,421 to Planned Parenthood since 2001. Buffett was never mentioned as a top donor when Live Action embarrassed Planned Parenthood with two videos of staffers assisting a Live Action actor with a possible sex selection abortion.  

That wasn’t the only embarrassment for the abortion provider. In early 2011, Live Action’s Lila Rose trained investigators to pose as a pimp and a prostitute running a sex ring composed of 14- and 15-year-olds. Planned Parenthood workers were quite willing to help provide underage abortions.

No mention of Buffett’s billions then either.

Instead we get grandfatherly Buffett, tax-hiking Buffett, investor Buffett. As a reliable liberal businessman, journalists turn to him as a source for almost any commentary.

It’s easy to understand. If you give $1,000 to a ballot initiative to defend traditional marriage, that’s controversial. If you give $1.25 billion to promote abortion, journalists, who are wildly pro-abortion, don’t dare see any controversy.

But now the information is out there. Watch as the supposedly “neutral” news media does its best to hide it.

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com In his latest article, former Assistant Treasury Secretary Dr. Paul Craig Roberts says, “The Fed is the great deceiver.” Why is he making this shocking accusation? The reason is tiny Belgium’s whopping purchase of $141 billion in Treasury bonds earlier this year. Dr. Roberts explains, “We know that Belgium didn’t have any money to buy $141 billion worth of bonds over a three month period. That sum comes to 29% of the Belgium GDP. So, they don’t have a surplus in their budget that is 29% of their GDP, and they don’t have trade or current account surplus in that amount. In fact, everything is in the red. Their budget deficit is in the red, and their trade and current accounts are in the red. So, Belgium didn’t have the money, and yet, they managed to pick up $141.2 billion in U.S. Treasuries over a three month period. So, where did they get the money?” Dr. Roberts, who holds a PhD in economics, goes on to say, “We know their central bank couldn’t have printed euros to buy the bonds with because the Belgium central bank can’t print euros. Belgium is part of the euro system and has lost the ability to create its own money. So, the only source for that kind of money would have been the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve thought it needed to hide the fact it was buying $141 billion in bonds over a three month period when it was officially reducing or tapering the quantitative easing down to $65 billion. It didn’t want to have to admit it was really purchasing $112 billion a month, almost double the announced purchases.” Dr. Roberts also says, “I think also the Fed did not want it to get out that some large country is unloading Treasuries. Somebody dropped over $100 billion in Treasuries in one week. If that was a large holder and that became known, it could panic smaller holders and you could see a stampede, and the Fed could lose control of interest rates. So, I think the Fed thought the best thing to do is launder its purchase through a different country; and, thereby, disguise what is actually happening.” Why is the Fed worrying about the shell game of Treasury purchases? Dr. Roberts says, “I think there wasn’t any buyer for the $104 billion in one week. So, if that kind of bond sale sat unattended, interest rates would rise; and so, the Fed had to buy the bonds in order to protect its interest rate policy. But, if it outright bought them and this was known, then it starts to interfere with the ‘tapering’ that it promised to do because all of a sudden it’s not ‘tapering,’ at least not for those three months. It signals somebody is unloading Treasuries, and that could stampede others. What it indicates is they are not feeling all that confident that the dollar is on such a sound footing, or the U.S. financial system is on all that much sound footing that they can openly step in and take up that type of purchase.” On the steep drop in GDP growth of a paltry .1% in the first quarter, Dr. Roberts says, “What I find most amusing about this is they had to claim some real growth in the first quarter; so, they eked out .1%. Now we know they got that by rigging the inflation number they used to deflate the gross domestic product (GDP). The real GDP in the first quarter, properly deflated, was negative and probably also in the fourth quarter. Most likely, this coming quarter, they are not going to be able to hide the fact that it is negative. . . . I am convinced the first quarter was negative, and I don’t see how it could possibly go positive in the second quarter.” On Fed Head Janet Yellen’s rosy outlook on the economy, Dr. Roberts debates, “I don’t see how she can see that the economy is going to start growing. What is going to make it grow? Why should investors invest money when consumers don’t have any money? There are not retail sales. I think it is just part of the rah, rah talk. Everywhere else in the world is going down the tube. So, what’s going to push the American economy up?–Nothing that I know of.” On the Ukraine crisis, Dr. Roberts says, “I think Washington badly miscalculated this whole Ukraine business. It was an act of hubris, arrogance and stupidity. They are mad at Russia for blocking their attack on Syria and blocking their attack on Iran. They said ‘we’ll teach them.’ We’ll give them trouble in their own backyard and not to get in our way anymore.” The threat of sanctions has made the Russians realize the dollar system is not in their interest, and they are going to leave it. . . . If any significant part of the world stops using the dollar, the price of the dollar falls because demand for dollars falls, and the import cost for America would rise. But until now much of this was in the realm of hearsay and general wishful thinking. After all, surely it is "ridiculous" that a country can seriously contemplate to exist outside the ideological and religious confines of the Petrodollar... because if one can do it, all can do it, and next thing you know the US has hyperinflation, social collapse, civil war and all those other features prominently featured in other socialist banana republics like Venezuela which alas do not have a global reserve currency to kick around. Or so the Keynesian economists, aka tenured priests of said Petrodollar religion, would demand that the world believe. However, as much as it may trouble the statists to read, Russia is actively pushing on with plans to put the US dollar in the rearview mirror and replace it with a dollar-free system. Or, as it is called in Russia, a "de-dollarized" world. Voice of Russia reports citing Russian press sources that the country's Ministry of Finance is ready to greenlight a plan to radically increase the role of the Russian ruble in export operations while reducing the share of dollar-denominated transactions. Governmental sources believe that the Russian banking sector is "ready to handle the increased number of ruble-denominated transactions". According to the Prime news agency, on April 24th the government organized a special meeting dedicated to finding a solution for getting rid of the US dollar in Russian export operations. Top level experts from the energy sector, banks and governmental agencies were summoned and a number of measures were proposed as a response for American sanctions against Russia. Well, if the west wanted Russia's response to ever escalating sanctions against the country, it is about to get it. The "de-dollarization meeting” was chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov, proving that Moscow is very serious in its intention to stop using the dollar. A subsequent meeting was chaired by Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Moiseev who later told the Rossia 24 channel that "the amount of ruble-denominated contracts will be increased”, adding that none of the polled experts and bank representatives found any problems with the government's plan to increase the share of ruble payments.
