The province decides to pay the salaries of its employees in U.S. dollars instead of the dinar

BAGHDAD / News .. Baghdadi announced head of the list of green in the Kurdistan Parliament Picard Dilshad Talabani, on Tuesday, that the Kurdistan Regional Government decided to spent the salaries of its employees to the U.S. dollar instead of the Iraqi dinar.

Talabani said in an interview I followed / Baghdadi News / "The heads of the lists in the Kurdistan parliament gathered today with the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Barzani to discuss and debate the budget and salaries of employees of the region."

She added: "We asked the Prime Minister in the province Bbbzl all efforts for the distribution of salaries of all employees of the region ahead of the Eid al-Fitr," adding, that "Barzani said during a meeting that does not have financial problems now but they are in dollars and converted to the local currency requires time so We decided to pay the salaries of the staff of the region in U.S. dollars instead of the dinar as of next month. "

As Islamic Militants Destroy Iraq Heritage, a Stunning Find in Kurdistan

BARCELONA, Spain – While the history of civilization is being demolished by war and religious zealots in the rest of Iraq, in the Kurdistan Region archeologists are marveling at a stunning discovery: the remains of a long-lost temple from the biblical kingdom of Urartu, dating back to the 9th century BC.

Kurdish archaeologist Dlshad Marf Zamua, who has studied the columns and other artifacts at the find, told Rudaw these were unearthed piecemeal over the past four decades by villagers going about their lives, digging for cultivation or construction.

But only recently, after the discovery of life-size human statues and the unearthed columns, Zamua realized that the villagers had stumbled upon the temple of Haldi. That was one of the most important gods of Urartu, an Iron-Age kingdom around Lake Van in the Armenian highlands.

The temple was found in the village of Mdjeser, in the district of Bradost-Sidekan, the most northeastern corner of Iraq and bordering Iran and Turkey.

“The temple was recorded very well in the Assyrian and Urartian inscriptions,” explained Zamua, a doctoral student at Leiden University in the Netherlands who also teaches at Salahaddin University in Erbil.

“One of the reliefs depicts the plunder of the temple by the Assyrian King Sargon II in 714 BC,” said the researcher, who spent from 2005 to 2012 working on the site.

According to historical evidence and the recently uncovered sites, the ancient city of Musasir, located where Mdjeser is today, was home to Haldi’s temple.

Mdjeser was one of more than 4,000 villages destroyed during the Anfal campaign of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, which especially targeted the Kurds and is gaining international recognition as an act of genocide.

Even now some villagers will not return to rebuild their homes because of the troubles in Iraq, which have made things worse in this border region.

The ancient capital was known as Musasir by the Assyrians and as Ardini by the Urartians themselves. It was among the lands that formed a string of buffer states between the two powers of the time, Assyria and Urartu.

Zamua also studied eleven human-size statues unearthed in the same area, which he believes are from the Scythian state of the 7th-6th century BC. They were originally erected above the graves of chieftains and warrior leaders.

“Most of the uncovered statues at Mdjeser and the neighboring Topzawa Valley have also a typical Scythian iconography,” Zamua said, explaining the figures were shown in real-life situations, such as holding a cup, strapping on a dagger or holding a hatchet, the preferred Scythian weapon.

At the temple, the columns are made of green basalt, and some with sandstone, limestone and marble.

“The importance of my research is that is the first time on the base of archaeological and textual data that we can show the penetration of the Scythians into Kurdistan during the 8th -7th centuries BC,” Zamua said.

“Kurdistan is one of the richest areas in the world in archaeology. There are thousands of archaeological sites -- caves, settlements, cities, citadels, castles, rock reliefs, bridges -- covering almost all the history and the lives of humans on earth from the stone ages to modern times.”

Luckily, the archaeological sites in Brodost-Sidekan are far from the rebellion and war raging across Iraq for more than a month.

Still, being an archeologist in Kurdistan is not easy, Zamua said, listing the dangers to include tens of thousands of unexploded land mines, especially from the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war.

Other hazards are Iranian shelling of the area, Zamua said, which happened last in June. Turkish jets also have bombed the area several times in the past.

As an archaeologist, Zamua worries about the impact of war and the Islamic State (IS) on sites that are some of the earliest records of civilization.

IS fighters have been destroying historical sites during their military conquests, especially targeting Shiite shrines.

“In this chaotic situation they may loot ancient objects and sell them in the international black market to fund these groups,” Zamua said, voicing a growing concern.

He said that in this regard Kurdistan was acting very responsibly.

“Kurdistan is protecting its borders very well and the directorates of antiquities actively are trying to look at the archaeological sites to protect them,” he said.

He applauded the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) for allowing foreign archeologists to work on sites. But he complained that, “there is no special fund for local archaeologists to start big projects.”

Ten Things That Will Disappear In Our Lifetime

This is USA oriented, but Canada, Australia & the rest will not be far behind... Whether these changes are good or bad depends in part on how we adapt to them. But, ready or not, here they come.

1. The Post Office

Get ready to imagine a world without the post office. They are so deeply in financial trouble that there is probably no way to sustain it long term. Email, Fed Ex, and UPS have just about wiped out the minimum revenue needed to keep the post office alive. Most of your mail every day is junk mail and bills.

2. The Check

Britain is already laying the groundwork to do away with check by 2018. It costs the financial system billions of dollars a year to process checks. Plastic cards and online transactions will lead to the eventual demise of the check. This plays right into the death of the post office. If you never paid your bills by mail and never received them by mail, the post office would absolutely go out of business.

3. The Newspaper

The younger generation simply doesn't read the newspaper. They certainly don't subscribe to a daily delivered print edition. That may go the way of the milkman and the laundry man. As for reading the paper online, get ready to pay for it. The rise in mobile Internet devices and e-readers has caused all the newspaper and magazine publishers to form an alliance. They have met with Apple, Amazon, and the major cell phone companies to develop a model for paid subscription services.

4. The Book

You say you will never give up the physical book that you hold in your hand and turn the literal pages I said the same thing about downloading music from iTunes. I wanted my hard copy CD. But I quickly changed my mind when I discovered that I could get albums for half the price without ever leaving home to get the latest music. The same thing will happen with books. You can browse a bookstore online and even read a preview chapter before you buy. And the price is less than half that of a real book. And think of the convenience! Once you start flicking your fingers on the screen instead of the book, you find that you are lost in the story, can't wait to see what happens next, and you forget that you're holding a gadget instead of a book.

5. The Land Line Telephone

Unless you have a large family and make a lot of local calls, you don't need it anymore. Most people keep it simply because they've always had it. But you are paying double charges for that extra service. All the cell phone companies will let you call customers using the same cell provider for no charge against your minutes.

6. Music

This is one of the saddest parts of the change story. The music industry is dying a slow death. Not just because of illegal downloading. It's the lack of innovative new music being given a chance to get to the people who would like to hear it. Greed and corruption is the problem. The record labels and the radio conglomerates are simply self-destructing. Over 40% of the music purchased today is "catalogue items," meaning traditional music that the public is familiar with. Older established artists. This is also true on the live concert circuit. 7. Television Revenues

To the networks are down dramatically. Not just because of the economy. People are watching TV and movies streamed from their computers. And they're playing games and doing lots of other things that take up the time that used to be spent watching TV. Prime time shows have degenerated down to lower than the lowest common denominator. Cable rates are skyrocketing and commercials run about every 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I say good riddance to most of it.

It's time for the cable companies to be put out of our misery. Let the people choose what they want to watch online and through Netflix.

8. The "Things" That You Own

Many of the very possessions that we used to own are still in our lives, but we may not actually own them in the future. They may simply reside in "the cloud." Today your computer has a hard drive and you store your pictures, music, movies, and documents. Your software is on a CD or DVD, and you can always re-install it if need be. But all of that is changing. Apple, Microsoft, and Google are all finishing up their latest "cloud services." That means that when you turn on a computer, the Internet will be built into the operating system. So, Windows, Google, and the Mac OS will be tied straight into the Internet. If you click an icon, it will open something in the Internet cloud. If you save something, it will be saved to the cloud. And you may pay a monthly subscription fee to the cloud provider. In this virtual world, you can access your music or your books, or your whatever from any laptop or handheld device. That's the good news.

But, will you actually own any of this "stuff" or will it all be able to disappear at any moment in a big "Poof?" Will most of the things in our lives be disposable and whimsical? It makes you want to run to the closet and pull out that photo album, grab a book from the shelf, or open up a CD case and pull out the insert.

9. Joined Handwriting (Cursive Writing)

Already gone in some schools who no longer teach "joined handwriting"

because nearly everything is done now on computers or keyboards of some type (pun not intended)

10. Privacy

If there ever was a concept that we can look back on nostalgically, it would be privacy. That's gone. It's been gone for a long time anyway..

There are cameras on the street, in most of the buildings, and even built into your computer and cell phone. But you can be sure that 24/7, "They" know who you are and where you are, right down to the GPS coordinates, and the Google Street View.

              

If you buy something, your habit is put into a zillion profiles, and your ads will change to reflect those habits..

"They" will try to get you to buy something else. Again and again.

All we will have left that can't be changed are

"Memories".

NEW YORK – Joel Gilbert’s new documentary feature film “There’s No Place Like Utopia” is advancing to nationwide distribution in August based on strong box office results at its premiere showing over the weekend in Denver.

Final results show gross ticket sales of $31,710 for the Friday-through-Sunday showings at the Regal UA Colorado Center Stadium 9 & IMAX, making it the nation’s highest-grossing movie per screen.

Gilbert’s film distributor, Rocky Mountain Pictures, also launched Dinesh D’Souza’s first documentary, “2016: Obama’s America,” in a single-screen premiere in Houston, Texas.

On July 13, 2012, D’Souza’s “2016” went nationwide and ultimately played in more than 2,000 theaters, grossing about $36 million, making it the second-highest grossing political documentary feature film ever.

Based on the strength of Gilbert’s one-theater results, Rocky Mountain Pictures is following the identical plan the film distributor used to launch D’Souza’s “2016.”

Rocky Mountains Pictures explained in an email that AMC and Cinemark Theaters, the No. 2 and No. 3 largest movie theater chains in the nation, both requested to show “There’s No Place Like Utopia” in their theaters nationwide after weekend box office results were officially published Monday morning.

“We expect to open ‘There’s No Place Like Utopia’ in 1,000 theaters nationwide in 5-7 weeks, and very possibly in 2,000 theaters, just like we did with D’Souza’s film two years ago,” Rocky Mountains Pictures explained in an email.

Packed premier in Denver

WND attended Gilbert’s weekend premiere, which featured five showings a day on one screen. Each showing had long lines and sellout, or near sellout, crowds that responded enthusiastically with sustained applause at the conclusion.

WND interviewed various moviegoers to get their reaction to the film.

“What imagination, what facts, what humor, what a ‘happy warrior,’ what quality music, what good pacing and timing, what validation of the truth that is stated by the victims of their own demise both wittingly and unwittingly … a masterpiece,” said Alan Favre of Denver after viewing the film.

Joel Gilbert’s sensational “Dreams from My Real Father” is available at the WND Superstore.

“All high school economics and sociology classes should review this film,” he said.

Peter Perry of Denver said the movie “is absolutely terrifying and terrific at the same time.”

“We have sent out a ‘must see’ notice to several hundred of our friends.”

Barbara Olshansky said: “My husband and I just saw your documentary here in Denver. This is a must see and absolutely brilliant.”

Gilbert was clearly moved by the strongly positive audience reaction.

“As a filmmaker, it’s a thrill, after so much work, to watch your movie with a large audience and hear them laugh, get angry and then see them cry,” he said.

“The audiences were clearly moved; there were standing ovations after each showing. People came up to me crying afterwards; it almost brought me to tears.”

After each screening, Gilbert engaged the audience in a question-and-answer session, sometimes lasting as long as 15 minutes, that only concluded when the screening of the trailers for the next scheduled showing caused the theater to be darkened.

“At each screening, the crowds became more intense, more vocal, more enthusiastic,” Gilbert said. “The questions they asked demonstrated the audiences are well-informed and very concerned about the direction of the country.”

WND observed that many people returned to see the film a second time.

The final scene of the film shows filmmaker Gilbert waving an American flag in Malibu, California, on an expansive Pacific Ocean beach.

Several audience members who had seen the film on opening day returned to the screening Sunday afternoon, bringing American flags with them this time.

When Gilbert began waving the flag in the film scene, the audience stood up in unison and waved their flags wildly to join Gilbert in the big finale.

“I was deeply moved by this gesture,” Gilbert told WND. “Even more so when the audience presented me with the flags as gifts of gratitude for making the film.”

The flag-waving was the brainchild of Amy Byczkowski of Denver.

She wrote to Gilbert later in an email: “We are praying for enormous blessings upon this brilliant creation of yours! It is imperative that the truth shine from the hill and that millions upon millions of hearts and minds be enlightened by the truth. Thank you for being that light.”

Gilbert told WND, “I encourage everyone to bring America flags to my film, I love it!”

‘There is no wizard’

As WND reported, Gilbert takes his viewers on a journey of discovery across America, emulating the style of the highly successful Michael Moore films, the leftist filmmaker who currently holds the distinction of having produced the highest-grossing documentary in film history.

In his new film, Gilbert depicts Barack Obama as “the Wizard” in the Land of Oz.

“The fundamental lesson of the Wizard of Oz is that there is no wizard.” Gilbert said.

“Obama has made promise after promise that have all turned out to be empty, all turned out to be lies. The people I met who supported him were literally living in dungeons in the witch’s castle, everything had changed for the worse – Detroit, South Side Chicago, Newark. Fifty years of progressive control over these cities demonstrated that no one was progressing, they were all regressing.”

Keying off Dorothy’s conclusion in the classic “Wizard of Oz” that there’s no place like home, Gilbert analyzes the literal meaning of “Utopia” to argue, “There’s no place like Utopia.”

The Motion Picture Association of America, MPAA, gave “Utopia” a rating of PG-13, signifying parents are strongly cautioned that some content is not appropriate to children under 13, due to “some disturbing images.”

“I think PG-13 is an appropriate rating,” Gilbert said.

He told WND, “The MPAA could just have said progressivism and the images progressivism has generated in America are disturbing.”

When was the last time a missile was launched from it? Are national militias illegal?

Absolutely not! Our founders were very clear and concise when writing the United States Constitution by stating ‘A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.’. The National Guard is not a militia because it is regulated by state governments and would ultimately fall under federal control in most cases. You, the everyday civilian and the active/retired military personnel represent a constitutional American militia.

Archangel Metatron: I want the whole world to know that this week is a crucial time in your development toward Ascension.  The energies continue to flow powerfully across the planet, awakening the crystalline potential of your DNA.  For those who are ready and open to the movement to higher vibrations, it is a time of great growth and change.  For those who are still doubters and sleepers, not so much, as you like to say.  Either way, all will be experiencing incremental modifications. We have created this plan together, of course, with input from all involved.  The arrangement is perfectly designed to allow each soul to ascend as quickly as you feel you can.  Some of you were aware before you came here that you would be hampered in some way, either through a lifetime of training in negative thinking, or because you have previously not yet reached high levels of development.  Whatever your preference, there is a "track" for you, and your HIgher Self will be directing you accordingly. It is very different here in higher dimensions than on the ground in one way.  There is absolutely no competition for high positions of responsibility or "power."  In fact, it is impossible for a soul to travel to dimensions of a higher vibration than they are adapted to; it is a matter of acclimating to the atmosphere of each dimension, one by one, as you  practice and learn throughout many, many lifetimes, just as you advance through one grade to another here.  Steve Beckow has written about this dynamic very clearly in his short e-book called "Negative Alien Races."  Do not be alarmed by the title.  It is reassuring you that you need not worry about them.  They are not being allowed into the Earth's vicinity any more.  You are a planet in ascension, and are under the protection of the Galactic Federation.  No worries. You have been told before that each level of vibration requires effort and physical adaptation.  This is true whether you are in a human body or in you soul light body in higher dimensions.  For instance, if you are a young soul who has begun your lessons and have achieved the transition from, say, the 5th dimension to the 6th, it is an occasion for celebration and congratulations.  The 5th dimension is the starting point for all souls.  One can descend to lower vibrations if one wishes, although it is an effort for us who are used to the lighter atmosphere above the 9th.  This is what we have done to manage the transition to life on Earth in this current time. Even the most ambitious soul cannot rise to a level higher than they have achieved by the work of learning to raise themselves to the lighter vibration.  So, you see, as in Heaven, so on Earth.  Those of you who are used to traveling through higher dimensions will not find it unfamiliar or difficult to be lifted by the incoming energies at this time.  Those who are resistant, or those who are less experienced will choose a slower path.  This is fine.  It is not a race; all will be accommodated in the end.  However, we do encourage you to take the fastest and highest track you are able to achieve.  This will speed the process of Ascension for all. Now, Dearest Ones, cooperate with your Higher Self to work out your goal.  It is important for everyone to focus on lifting themselves now, regardless of how high your end point will be.  This Ascension is for everyone who is here.  Those who have chosen a path of darkness will be given the opportunity to awaken, and their path will be one which goes only as far as is appropriate for them.  You see, it protects everyone this way.  If you have achieved a high level of development, you will not be bothered by sight-seers and gawkers by the proverbial busload if you are working in high dimensions.  By the same token, those who are comfortable and well adapted to the 6th dimension will be given the work appropriate for their rise to the 7th, no more. You are all students of the School of Soul Development.  This is our primary interest and goal in every lifetime.  You will notice that people are now sorting themselves out by levels, to form groups to work with those who are at their own level.  We have programs for everyone.  Some who were reading these messages in the Who Needs Light? family have "opted out" at this time, because they sensed the content was becoming more and more challenging and difficult for them.  This is fine; it makes it possible for us to continue to raise the bar for the rest of you.  You have noticed that these messages are more psychologically oriented and more intricately constructed than others.  This is by design and by previous agreement with the channel, who has been trained for this. This sorting process means that for those of you who are Ascended Masters from higher realms in your previous experience, you will be feeling more and more isolated in your day to day experience.  You may find your friends and family "falling by the wayside" from your point of view.  They may choose to deride or mock your interest in spiritual development, distancing themselves from your discussion of the things that are dear to your heart, a deep part of your present identity.  Do not condemn them, or try to slow yourself down on their behalf.  Search instead for those who take for granted what you are feeling now - the urgency to be of service and to hone your Self to be the finest tool for God's work that you can possibly be. We have provided you with many websites, many channels.  Kathryn's colleague, Gabriella is overseeing a page on Facebook (now is the time to overcome your prejudice against Facebook) to provide a meeting place for those who are on the fast track to Ascension.  It is called Healing for Ascension Tour Group.  The medium of Facebook is well adapted to creating an interactive resource for likeminded people to meet, in fact it is the best use of this "modern" tool.  We do not restrict its use to "social media networking."  It can be used in a far more sophisticated way, to connect our Lightworkers on the ground with one another. You see, I am acknowledging your progress and encouraging you to continue to raise yourselves, and we are giving you all the tools necessary to do so.  An Ascended Master does not remain isolated, nor does s/he complain that others oppose them.  Of course others oppose you; it is the normal response when someone is confronted with something they do not understand or feel as you do, and they are still firmly entrenched in the lower dimensions of Earth's duality. Free yourselves now from all regret, all pain from the experiences of having been "rejected" by your fellows.  Know that none of it is personal; it is simply the way human beings are responding to the challenges at hand.  Take your own path, with joyful anticipation that you will encounter others who will embrace you and recognize the common ground you will tread together from this point on.  It is a truly heart-warming experience to work with others who are experiencing identical challenges to your own. Imagine yourself in an enormous ballroom.  It is a great celebration, and everyone is invited.  Use your radar to hone in on the dancing partners whose energy feels compatible with your own, since in this hall everyone hears the music they prefer.  There are no restrictions, no rules to follow, nothing to prove.  Some in the great hall will be waltzing with great sweeping gusto, others performing "electric boogie" moves, some practicing a carefully choreographed group two-step, and others doing the odd gyration you have called "twerking."  Do not judge what the others are doing; move instead to the group whose rhythm lifts your heart and inspires you to join in the dance. This is your time to shine, Beloved Ones.  Widen your circle; reach out to make contact with others you have not preciously known.  It is a time for sorting, aligning and offering comfort and inspiration to others.  Be of service by bringing your message, but if others refuse to accept you, move on.  Be an explorer of possibilities, a detector of deep feelings.  Some of you do not yet know each other, for you have not advertised yourselves as Great Masters.  Great masters do not do that, of course.  They simply do their jobs as God has asked them to do and leave the commentary to others.  They teach by example and by being transparent about what they feel and how they see the world.  This is the most effective teaching style - one which Socrates made famous, and which remains still as the way to Truth.  Do not confuse it with lecturing or intellectual gymnastics.  The Socratic Method is a state of being. We ask you now to make yourselves more visible.  Present your view to the world simply, directly and with feeling.  This is not the time for intellectual argument or fact-finding to support your opinion.  Speak of your personal experience, your deepest feelings, and your Love.  Make the story of your soul journey interesting to others by telling it in person.  Everyone loves a good story.  Make your story of Ascension real and accessible to others by showing them the joy it gives you to be alive, the thrill you feel when you awaken to each new day.  The Faith you feel in your heart will be apparent to all.  You need not give it a name, God, or even a reference.  Tell the world of the rising energies on the planet, and your experience of exhilaration and lightness as you absorb the gift of heightened vibrations from the Cosmos. Join with us, the Company of Heaven, to express Love, Compassion and unlimited Understanding to those you encounter along your path.  Each chance meeting, every syllable you speak, and every step you take matters in the fulfillment of the Great Dream of Ascension.
