Papajack] I have noticed when I post in here and the posts go to other sites I read some of the comments but again I'm not computer savvy enough to reply. So let me clarify some things.

I do read and study and try to pass on what I can in the hopes it helps because we are all in this together. I'm also here to have Okie's back as so many people pull on him.

Honestly this situation is fluid and changes happen all the time, there are no absolutes, we are fighting the devil and his minions but we are in a battle we already have a written outcome, WE WON!!!!!

I believe we are finally at the finish line, I don't know exactly how it will play out as details go, but I feel in my spirit we are at the end of the RV, Global Reset, New Republic adventure, and my prayer for all of you is that all that Yahveh has in store for you to bless you will come upon you and overtake you.

Stay diligent and flexible and know He that brought us this far, won't drop us off now.

Michael August 10, 2014 There are still financial institutions that are attempting to manipulate the newly funded credit lines and leverage it illegally like they did in the past. The problem with that is the new computer system offers many levels of transparency and they are getting reigned in here in these last days. I suspect we'll see them continue to try for a time.

They will learn soon that with asset backed currency, there is no more room for fiat currency games. In the mean time there are VIP's getting snagged as well; while this is a serious problem, it's just part of the transition. The revaluation will and needs to be completed. aggiedad77:  Remember the new push for Iraq is unity.....that means working together towards the common good for all Iraqis.....meanwhile here stands one potential candidate who seems bent on attacking the new President of the Republic and bringing charges against Massoum for failing to see things "his way"...the way of Maliki and recognize the State of Law as the biggest bloc within Parliament....

On the other hand....I want to applaud President Massoum for doing just what he's done....showing the gumption to stand up to Maliki and instead declare the National Alliance as the largest bloc within Parliament....by using what was put in place in 2010 when Maliki needed it then....to determine who was the biggest.....the bloc....not the elected list....he proves he is not afraid of Maliki.....

But at the same time he is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of political savvy by the National Alliance leadership....or their lack of courage to stand up against Maliki....and the clock is ticking...against them.

Meanwhile if they don't act....Massoum has said he will either dissolve Parliament (not sure he can do that).....or he will resign....this comes after he has met with Kurdish President Barzani.

Meanwhile the State of Law folks think they can meet with the Federal Court to get their party named as the biggest in Parliament.....

I'm wishing that President Massoum would simply say....National Alliance you couldn't give me a name....so I am picking someone.....and it "ain't" going to be Maliki either.   Randy

TLAR:    riley, your right.  Its insane for them to still have not announced a PM this late in the game.

The most encouraging article is the one saying the coalition has finally decided to quit negotiating with the thieves and murderers (Maliki and the leadership of the SOL) and will decide who will be the nominee while ignoring Maliki and his party altogether.

They should have done this 2 weeks ago.  Instead they have continued to try to work it out up until the final hour.  You cannot negotiate with thieves and liars because they will say anything like "I did not agree to that, or later its a forgery and we are not honoring that etc., etc." 

The leadership of the SOL has but one mission, maintain power and immunity.

To try to work something out with these guys is and has been a folly and very predictable.  The coalition needs to quickly name one guy so Massum can close the deal. If they continue to drag it out everybody that is now on the coalition team will start to get skitsy just like you and me. The coalition could end up seeing some of their support  begin to think twice about their own position because they have taken a risky position in going against their own leadership.  Get your act together coalition.  Give us a name now.  Tlar

  A source in the united parliamentary bloc, on Sunday evening, for obtaining a consensus on the nomination of Haider Abadi for the National Alliance.

  The source told Baghdadi News, that "the consensus within the National Alliance got around to provide a substitute for Haider al-Abadi al-Maliki for prime minister, amid stiff opposition from the Nuri al-Maliki."

The source added that "a lengthy meeting occurred at the blocks of the National Alliance in the Green Zone, which agreed to provide tomorrow Abadi, a final candidate for the National Alliance."

It is said that the constitutional deadline set by the President of the Republic Fuad Masum ended at midnight on Monday without providing the biggest bloc candidate for prime minister.

Iraq’s parliament just chose a new President who refused to rename Prime Minister Nouri Kamal al-Maliki to a third term. Maliki declared the move unconstitutional and his own State of Law Party pulled support from him. Now his forces are seizing government buildings in Iraq, have closed the airport, and are surrounding the Green Zone.

His speech refusing to step down occurred at midnight and was followed by the military action.

There isn't an actual coup, Baghdad is calm. Maliki has raised the stakes through his statement, it's the Iraqi form of poker (or chicken)

Buttercup:    But the date of that tweet, lojak, is "yesterday"....right?  Since it's now 3 AM Monday, August 11th in Baghdad...And didn't things go south at midnight there?  Which would have been three hours ago???  I hope for sure there really isn't a coup, but just need help getting the timeline straight.  Thanks, lojak!

Tlar:     We all realize this is an unfolding story.  Maliki is paranoid, knows he is going to be arrested, has 25 billion dollars and does control the military at this point.

 He has been threatening everybody including al-Sistani in the last 24 hours and saying the fires of hell have will be let loose if the will of the people is not honored (he is referring to all the votes he stole as he thinks he has the peoples mandate in his mind).

Then we get an article saying that Massoum's house has been blown up.

 Massoum threatened to quit because of threats and pressure being made by Maliki.  And then security forces are spread out all over Bagdad that nobody knows for sure who controls them and the green zone is now on lockdown.

Then this article stating that the MP's staying at this hotel, the Rashid which would be many MP'S all out of towners from the Sunni areas and Kurdistan and all towns outside of Bagdad like Basra etc.,  which includes the new POP are all under house arrest. 

It looks all the world to me like those forces Maliki said would be released on Iraq are being released by Maliki himself. This looks to me like what it probably is, a military coup with Maliki trying to take control over the government of Iraq by force.  I may be a little pre-mature guys in saying this, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, well you know where I am going with this.  I hope I'm wrong.  tlar Lojak:   You are

UN chief urges Iraq political leaders to form new government

10 August 2014 – Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has called on all Iraqi political parties to work towards the formation of a new government that would be able to confront the threat from the armed group, the Islamic State (IS).

In a late night statement yesterday from his spokesperson, Mr. Ban called on the political parties “to abide by the constitutional timeline that governs the nomination of the Prime Minister.”

He also called for “reason and wisdom to prevail” and urged all leaders in Iraq to form “a broad-based government that is acceptable to all components of Iraqi society.”

Such a government should be able to mobilize the nation to confront the threat from IS in a way that will bring security and stability to the whole country, Mr. Ban added.

Iraqi politicians on 15 July chose Salim al-Jubour as the new Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and Fuad Ma'soum as the new President on 24 July.

Per the Iraqi Constitution, the political leaders have until the end of today to nominate a Prime Minister, who would then form a new Government.

In his statement, Mr. Ban noted that as the Organization and the international community are closely following the political developments in Iraq, he also remains “deeply concerned” about the evolving humanitarian and security situation in the country.

The situation remains particularly dire on Jebel Sinjar, or Sinjar Mountain, where an estimated 50,000 people, many of them women, children and the elderly, are believed to be trapped since ISIL displaced them from their homes one week ago.

Aid workers are particularly concerned about high temperatures in the northern area. Those can reach 50 degrees Celsius (120 degrees Fahrenheit) at this time of year.
