TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED THE
1930s, ’40s, ’50s, ’60s and ’70s!!
First, we survived being born to mothers who may have smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn’t get tested for diabetes.
Then, after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets,
and, when we rode our bikes, we had baseball caps, not helmets, on our heads.
As infants and children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes..
Riding in the back of a pick- up truck on a warm day was always a special treat.
We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle.
We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died from this.
We ate cupcakes, white bread, real butter, and bacon. We drank Kool-Aid made with real white sugar. And we weren’t overweight. WHY?
Because we were always outside playing…that’s why!
We would leave home in the morning and play all day,
as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.
No one was able to reach us all day.
–And, we were OKAY.
We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride them down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes.. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem..
We did not have Play Stations, Nintendos and X-boxes. There were
no video games, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVDs, no
surround-sound or CDs,
no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet and no chat rooms.
WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!
We fell out of trees, got cut, broken bones and teeth, and there were no lawsuits from those accidents.
We would get spankings with wooden spoons, switches, ping-pong paddles, or just a bare hand, and no one would call child services to report abuse.
We ate worms, and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.
We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls, and -although we were told it would happen- we did not put out very many eyes.
We rode bikes or walked to a friend’s house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them.
Little League had tryouts
and not everyone made the team.
Those who didn’t had to learn to deal with disappointment.
Imagine that!!
The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!
These generations have produced some of the best
risk-takers, problem solvers, and inventors ever.
The past 50 to 85 years have seen an explosion of innovation and new ideas..
We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.
If YOU are one of those born
between 1925-1975, CONGRATULATIONS!
You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good.
While you are at it, forward it to your kids, so they will know how brave and lucky their parents were.
Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn’t it ?

She was serious too, so John got serious.

The next morning he woke up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped, right there in the middle of the driveway.

Confused, the wife threw her robe on and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house and opened in with much anticipation. Inside she found a brand new bathroom scale. John has been missing since Thursday.

Bangladesh keen to join BRICS Bank

Bangladesh is willing to join the newly-formed BRICS Bank though the multilateral development bank is yet decide on whether it would include any country outside the five founder nations.

 “We have decided to join BRICS Bank,” Finance Minister AMA Muhith told reporters after a meeting yesterday with Asian Development Bank Vice-President Lakshmi Venkatachalam at his secretariat.

 Officially called the New Development Bank (NDB), it was formed in July 2013 by the emerging markets of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa as an alternative to the US-dominated World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

Each of the five nations will initially contribute $10 billion to bring the bank's starting capital to $50 billion. Its primary focus of lending, scheduled to start in 2016, will be infrastructure projects.

 However, NDB is yet to decide on whether it would give membership to any country other than its founder members.

 Finance ministry sources said the Economic Relations Division has sent a letter to Bangladesh ambassadors in the five countries to enquire whether the country can join the bank.

Bangladesh has also communicated to Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Saran its willingness to become a member of NDB.

He pointed out that the increase in the confidence of the world in Iraqi dinar will make it difficult international currency, likely that the coming weeks will see an improvement over the value of the dinar against the dollar, and this will enhance the confidence of the world with it.

India has approached the Iraqi government the adoption of dealing in local currencies in the process of commercial exchanges of the two countries instead of the dollar and currencies in order to support the Indian and Iraqi forces. The Finance Committee has confirmed that 2014 will see the deletion of zeros from the Iraqi currency, are described: The deleted will be in coordination with the Central Bank. The committee member said Abdul-Hussein al-Yasiri in a press statement: The process of deletion of zeros from the national currency will begin during 2014, through an agreement with the central bank, noting: This project will lead to reducing the rate of the national currency in circulation from four billion to one billion. Added: The value will be reduced to the size of the quarter, and this will enhance the value and easy to transport, pointing out that fraud or manipulation of currency cash, it will be very difficult. The CBI identified earlier in the beginning of this year will see the implementation of the project to delete the three zeroes from the national currency, but the Iraqi government has demanded the bank to wait to apply the project, fearing the emergence of counterfeit currency during the switching process.

In a few days you will be able to catch a glimpse of what will be coming soon to Urantia.  God’s love will no longer be hard to find.  It will be available for all to SEE.  

It is high time that blind men from many parts of the world will come to know that there is a LIVING GOD who rules heaven and earth.  I am quite happy and excited that this is coming around and finally we can begin the work to renew the face of the earth.  There is still much to be done and it will not be quick, simple and expedient. The many years of darkness that prevailed here have taken its toll and its roots have been deeply grounded.  All this negative energy will have to be cleansed, refabricated and renewed.

What will it be like when those who espouse to be my disciples are unable to recognize my true emissaries when they are come? Be ye the faithful who have eyes to see the true bestowal of my will and my profound love and care.  

What is seen will astonish and will not disappoint. Know that it is with my power that all things will come into alignment for the benefit of all. You need not be concerned with the details at this time. Just know that your place is assured and your eyes will be made to see. Worry not about your brother’s eyes. His place is also assured but the road may diverge from yours. 

I care not about the path it is only the destination that ensures our ultimate union. For it is with you that I place my trust and all faith that in times of strife you will be my comforters and the voice of my voice. Do not despair of convincing any whose eyes are closed and whose ears are not ready. You are ready and many upon many of your brothers wait only for the signs and the leaders who will point the way. It is not only those of whom follow the same path as yourselves but there will be millions upon millions whose “switches are flipped” by their Adjusters when I give the signal.  They will not know what hit them, but they will be glad it did! 

 

Fear not, I repeat, those who cannot see or hear. Their place is assured and their destination divined. None will be lost if they so choose.  We will band together, my brothers and sisters to pour out the divine love that will wash away the fears that have hidden you from yourselves. Your true selves; the selves that know how to embrace truth, beauty and goodness.  

 

You will be as little children with eyes wide open for the glory of my mission will flood your world with such overwhelming goodness that some will be overcome.  Nothing they have ever encountered in their physical and emotional bodies has prepared them for how to ride the waves of the intense, euphoric bursting of their calloused and hardened hearts.  

 

Open yourselves to the gladness that this will bring as I pour out my love upon the shores of this beloved and misguided little planet.  You are my jewels, my diamonds, which have been hardened by the trials of rebellion.  My mission comes to gather you, polish you, and place you where you belong, in the crown of my glory.

During the days following the devastating destruction and death that occurred on September 11, 2001, there were a number of Americans who questioned the media's coverage of what actually happened to the World Trade Center and the U.S. Pentagon.

While in the midst the President George W. Bush administration there were several media outlets that gave credence to the voices from what they called the 9/11 Truth Movement -- of Truthers, for short -- when President Barack Obama took office, those same news media voices were no longer interested in pursuing the story and theories put forward by the so-called Truthers.

However, on April 3, 2014 the well-respected and relatively unbiased C-Span cable television show "Washington Journal" invited the usually bombastic Democratic congressman, Representative Jim McDermott who appeared to have opened up the 9/11 controversy once again.

McDermott (D-WA), while a guest on "Washington Journal" took a question via telephone from a member of the television audience about the destruction of New York City's World Trade Center's Building 7 on 9/11. The caller addressed the evidence by several architects and structural engineers who believe that explosives of some kind brought it down. The Congressman McDermott surprised many when he said that after seeing videos covering the issue and "the questions surrounding it are legitimate, meriting further investigation."

"...one day we will have further examination of that issue...I think the sooner the better, but that's just my personal view." said McDermott during his C-Span interview.

With that, a few months later, the host of "Washington Journal," Peter Slen invited the leader of a group of engineers, architects and building construction experts onto his show to discuss the allegations that, in essence, the 9/11 tragedy that destroyed an entire Manhattan building complex and killed close to 3,000 innocent people, was in fact an inside job.

Slen's guest, Richard Gage, explained that his group of experts, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, believes that the World Trade Center was brought down by explosive demolition on September 11, 2001 and not because of aircraft flying into the Twin Towers. Gage founded his group of highly credentialed experts in 2006 and said its mission was to “expose the official lies and cover-up surrounding the events of September 11, 2001 in a way that inspires the people to overcome denial and understand the truth.” Mr. Gage spoke via video link from San Francisco, California.

According to Gage, AE911Truth has studied the available information regarding the destruction of World Trade Center's Buildings 1, 2, and 7. He stated that the evidence gathered includes video and audio recordings, photographs, eyewitness accounts, and physical evidence.

"As building and technical professionals, we research and comment on only this forensic and recorded evidence, which has led us to the inevitable conclusion that the three skyscrapers were willfully destroyed by controlled demolition using explosives and incendiaries. That is why we have concluded that the hypotheses for the buildings' destruction given in the official reports published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, an arm of the U.S. government, are seriously flawed and scientifically impossible," Gage told the C-Span's audience.

One of the important questions answered by AE911Truth is how did were the demolition charges installed at the WTC without anyone noticing it?

According to Gage and the experts:

“The simple answer is by disguising the equipment as normal building components, so that not even the workers installing the components are aware of the concealed pyrotechnics. Three aspects of the Hypothetical Blasting Scenario that facilitate this are: the stability and specificity of ignition conditions achievable with aluminothermic pyrotechnics, minimization of the required access to steelwork, and the use of a completely wireless ignition control system.

“Perhaps the plane crashes did trigger some of the charges. If so, their blasts were lost in the jet-crash fireballs, and their damage was insufficient to budge the Towers' tops. Thermite incendiaries in the core ignited by the crash would not be visible over the fires, unless dislodged to the building's exterior, as apparently happened in the South Tower. However, this probably wasn't an issue because, in contrast to conventional explosives, thermite has a very high ignition temperature -- above 900ºC.”
