Foreign news agencies will many times print what our controlled media will not and here's a prime example... but now it has been posted on  Internet search with about 30,700 results where the first page of the search none of the websites had the following information with an audio tape that everyone needs to listen to which is only on the URL below: ( Pages 4, 8 etc )

Best of all, the whole thing is on tape, a “shakedown” attempt against Ambassador Lee Wanta, former White House intelligence chief under President Ronald Reagan and editor at Veterans Today.

Sundquist and Songstad left, on a recording at Wanta’s embassy, full details, not only of their ability to virtually buy the entire US government and deliver a multi-trillion dollar settlement authorized to Wanta by the US Supreme Court, but were recorded making arrangements for the murder of Wanta as well.

As American humorist, Jim W. Dean so often says, “You just can’t make things like this up.”

The recording was forwarded to the US Department of Justice yesterday and a copy presented to President Obama.

Background

During the 1980s, Lee Wanta was brought into the White House as the first National Intelligence Coordinator. He was tasked by President Reagan and CIA Director William Colby to destabilize the Soviet Union through establishment, with funds from the US Treasury, of a worldwide currency trading scheme.

Wanta, with the help of Reagan, amassed a fortune of $27 trillion, funds earmarked by Reagan to pay America’s national debt, restore the nation’s infrastructure and fund a world free of debt based currencies.

However, after Reagan left office and George H.W. Bush assumed the Presidency, Wanta was kidnapped and imprisoned in Switzerland, transferred to an American prison where he was held without due process for years and the money disappeared, taken by the Bush family.

The rest is history, stolen elections, 9/11, war upon war, and a world that has descended into crashing debt with nearly every currency floating on “air,” derivatives and a sea of Rothschild debt.

Wanta’s story is soon to be featured in a Hollywood film currently under production.

The Fixers

Nobody has heard of Sheldon Songstad, who with former congressman and governor, Don Sundquist, admit demanding a $30 billion dollar bribe from Wanta in order to compel the Supreme Court to issue a pay order on Wanta’s personal funds, based on the case he won, $4.5 trillion plus interest, totaling $9.5 trillion.

This would make Lee Wanta personally the wealthiest nation on earth. While this case has dragged on through the courts, thoroughly and carefully documented, Wanta friends and advisors, many former intelligence officers, including the author, have worked to keep him secure.

The recording of Songstad and Sundquist, 6.01 minutes, was aired on radio yesterday with commentary by Lee Wanta, on the Veterans Today Radio Network to over two million listeners.

The audience heard Sundquist describe how they would settle for as little as $5 billion, as a “retirement nest egg” and how, if Wanta fails to pay, they would arrange for his murder.

Current US Senator Bob Corker, Republican from Tennessee had been on a conference call earlier that included Sheldon Songstad, telling Wanta that his funds would be paid.

In fact, a majority of members of congress including almost all Republicans and many Democrats were to receive shares of the Wanta “payoff.” What had angered so many of them and had precipitated the death threat is Wanta’s statement to all of them that he would file Federal Income Tax Form 1099’s to accompany all payments. This would identify, as required by law, where money went and what services were paid for.

Were Wanta murdered to stop that process, it would require control of not only the Department of Internal Revenue but Treasury as well, to suppress the existence of these documents that would eventually lead to the imprisonment of almost the entire US government.

Beyond Idiocy

As the radio audience listened on, the two Republican Party political “fixers” made several things very clear. The US government was entirely “up for sale” and that they had the connections to arrange for the purchase.

What was amazing is that these two, after phoning Wanta and getting the recording notice on the line, assumed their conference call was private, paying no attention to the fact that the recording continued on while they confessed to what legal experts have identified as dozens of crimes and laid out a trail of bribery and corruption that crosses nearly every level of government, every court and over a hundred of Americas’ highest elected officials.

Shadow Government

This conspiracy involves, at its heart, politicians who have long advocated cuts in public health and education, in veterans benefits, lowering of wages, infringement of individual rights while supporting America’s wars.

These are also politicians at the heart of the Israel lobby in Washington.

According to the Jewish Virtual Library, Governor Sundquist is a close friend of Israel:

“- 1996: Gov. Don Sundquist signed the Tennessee-Israel Cooperation Agreement to promote cooperation between the two countries in trade, arts, culture, education, tourism and university/industry alliances.”

What is made clear is that the United States is far more a criminal organization than a nation. Those who don’t understand how America can say one thing and, with amazing consistency, do something else, often something totally bereft of moral responsibility, I think we may well have made the reasons abundantly clear.

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.  Well, for example, the other day, my wife and I went into town and visited a shop.

When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.  We went up to him and I said, "Come on, man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?"  He ignored us and continued writing the ticket.  I called him an a--hole. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn-out tires.

So my wife called him a sh--head.  He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first.  Then he started writing more tickets. This went on for about 20  minutes.  The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Just then our bus arrived, and we got on it and went home.

We always look for cars with "OBAMA 2012", or "HILLARY 2016" stickers.

We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired.  It's important at our age.

I was a minister in the Nation of Islam

"Nigger, do you see this black jack? I am going to teach you a lesson." I was told to take off all my clothes, but I refused. After arguing and being threatened, I decided to comply, except for my underwear. I was then thrown into a ten by ten foot metal box called "the Hole." It was cold and there was no light except for what was shining through a tiny peep hole. Three times a day bread, soup, and water were shoved through the slot in the door. I was fifteen years old.

I had been raised as a Christian in a predominately White church. My mother attended church, but my father did not. Though he was an alcoholic, he was a good provider. At times, under the influence of alcohol, he would be abusive, especially towards my mother. My mother showed good Christian conduct. As a child, I never saw her drink alcohol or heard her use profanity. The conflict in my home left me very confused.
I learned all the Bible stories in Sunday school. I was taught that Jesus died for my sins. I can even remember asking God to come into my heart, yet I never knew him as my personal Savior. As a child, I liked going to church, because it was a place to have fun. It gave me opportunities other kids in my community did not have. However, as I grew older, I went to church just for something to do.
The people in the church were very loving and kind. Coming from a family of seven brothers and three sisters meant that we had great needs. The church was very helpful to our family. Each summer I looked forward to going to camp, which was sponsored by the Salvation Army. However, around the age of ten, I experienced both name calling and sexual abuse from a counselor.
I remember incidents of racism and name calling both in my school and community. Unconsciously anger began to swell inside me, and gradually I began to rebel, but I did not know why. I lived on the west side of railroad tracks that separated the two sides of town. Ninety-five percent of the people who lived on the east side were White. Ninety-five percent of the people on the west side were Black.
When I was fifteen, I was jumped by four White boys at school one day. While they were kicking me and stomping me on the ground, my White teacher stood watching. Since the teacher made no attempt to stop them, I decided to pull out the razor that I carried in my pocket for protection. As I did, the four boys ran. My teacher then told another teacher to call the police. I was charged with assault and battery for carrying a concealed weapon, taken to the juvenile section of the county jail, and locked up in a cell for three weeks. After the first week, I led a protest for being locked in a cell for such a long time. The mattresses of those involved in the protest were taken away. For seven days I slept on a box spring on the concrete floor. Then, because I had led the protest, I was taken to the wardens office, threatened and thrown in the Hole. After six days I was taken back to my cell to sleep on the box spring.
Shortly after being released from the juvenile center in 1966, I moved to Queens, New York to live with two of my aunts. It was during this time that I came in contact with the Muslims of the Nation of Islam. The only thing I knew about the Nation of Islam was what I had read in the autobiography of Malcolm X. He had lived in the East Elmhurst section of Queens, not far from where I then lived. I noticed how clean the Muslims in the community looked and how well they took care of business. Not very far up the street on Northern Boulevard was the headquarters of the Black Panther Party. I can remember a shoot-out they had with the police. They were very active in the community. There was a section of Northern Boulevard that was so dangerous it was nicknamed "Vietnam." Because of the conflict I was having inside of myself, I started getting involved with drugs.
On occasion I would attend church, searching for hope, but I did not hear anything that was relevant to me. I needed to hear about a God that would help me here and now, not after I died.
Because of drug use I ended up in the detention house called the Tombs, and eventually in Rakius Island. There I got involved with an Islamic group called the Five Percenters. Eventually I joined the Nation of Islam.
The Nation of Islam offered me the moral teachings, discipline and direction that I needed. I had been very confused. We had been called Niggers. We had been called Negros, Colored people, Black people, Afro-Americans, African-Americans, but I had not known who I was. The Nation of Islam gave me some type of identity.
After my release from Rakius Island, I moved back to New Jersey, got very involved in the Nation of Islam, and started teaching the message of Elijah Muhammad. I became quite visible and active in the community teaching in schools, community centers, and jails. We had a big impact on juvenile homes and inner cities.
Just to see what ministers were preaching about, I started attending different churches in the area. I heard a lot of hollering, whooping, and shouting, but no teaching. There was a lot of talk about a God in the sky, and about how people like me needed to hear about a savior that could help them.
Around the early part of 1972, I started going to Chicago to visit Elijah Muhammad. I also started attending some classes in Harlem, New York at Temple Number Seven. I met and began talking with Minister Louis Farrakan, who was the national representative of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. I received and learned all the lessons in the Nation of Islam.
By 1974 I had started reading the Quran and other Islamic books. These books did not coincide with some of the teachings of Mr. Muhammad. Around this time Elijah Muhammad's son, Wallace D. Muhammad, started teaching the ministers in the Nation of Islam, probably to prepare the members for the death of his father. At the time of his death on February 26, 1975, I was in Chicago. That day Wallace D. Muhammad was declared the leader of the Nation of Islam. He reinterpreted some of the teachings of his father and even admitted some mistakes that his father had made. He claimed that his father was wrong for teaching that White people were devils. In this way, Wallace D. Muhammad began to bring the followers of Elijah Muhammad into the mainstream of Islam. I can remember when Elijah Muhammad was asked by a foreign Muslim, "Mr. Muhammad, what is this strange teaching that you are teaching the people." Elijah Muhammad replied, "I am not here to teach Islam. I am here to save a baby from the fire." Wallace Muhammad taught that his father wanted to wake up the sleeping black giant by sending a shock wave throughout the Black community.
I read the entire Quran and any book about Islam that I could find. Since no Muslim can pray properly in English, I learned to say my prayers in Arabic. I began to travel and study intensively under imams in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria. I read as many Hadith's about the traditions of Prophet Muhammad as I could. Because of my study, I eventually obtained the position of an imam. I delivered sermons in the mosque, led congregational prayers, and taught Islam on college campuses, in schools, and in communities. I began preaching very strongly against Christianity.
Around 1985, I began discussing Islam with my family. Islam teaches that Allah is one, not three. How could he be one and three at the same time? I read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, but I could not comprehend the concept of three in one.
My twin sister was attending a school called Christ for the Nations in Texas. We often wrote to each other. She wrote her views on Jesus Christ as the Son of God. I wrote about Jesus Christ as a prophet from my Islamic perspective.
Once I wrote telling my sister that Jesus could not have died on the cross, otherwise it would have been like committing suicide, since one man cannot die for everybody's sins. She phoned and told me, "Regardless of what you say or believe, Jesus died for your sins and he loves you. Someday you are going to accept Christ and become a Christian." I responded, "Not in a million years!" We continued to write and call each other. I also had conversations with my other two sisters and mother about Islam versus Christianity.
One day, my sister and I were talking on the phone when she said, "I have been praying for you and I challenge you to pray and ask God to prove to you that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he died on the cross for your sins." I accepted the challenge, because I love challenges and because I was confident in Islam. I decided that if God would prove to me that Christ died for my sins, then I would become a Christian. If not, I would teach and promote Islam like never before. I prayed that prayer often. I did not realize until later that hundreds of people were praying for my conversion.
One evening I was standing in front of a 7-11 store. Suddenly, a man asked me for directions to a church. When I asked him whom he knew in that church, he named my oldest sister. Realizing who I was, he said, "Oh, you are that Muslim we've been praying for." I insisted, "You don't have to pray for me. Islam is my religion. Allah is my god." As I looked at that minister, a strange feeling came over me.
As I kept challenging God with my prayers, strange things began to happen. One Sunday, after my teaching in the mosque on the story of Christmas and the Christian belief about the birth of Christ, a Muslim sister asked me to explain the Islamic view of the birth of Christ. I recited Surah 3:45-47 from the Quran. I had recited and explained these verses many times and had heard imams and Islamic scholars explain them. Yet as I spoke, for some unknown reason, deep within my heart doubt arose for the first time. I was not sure of my answer. I began to intensify my study of the Bible, comparing references to Jesus in the Bible with the ones in the Quran. I had no problems with the teaching of the virgin birth. The Quran says in Surah 3:47, "She said, O my Lord, how shall I have a son, when no man hath touched me." (Translation by A. Yusuf Ali.) What Islam rejects is calling Jesus Christ the Son of God.
My recitation of the Quran in Arabic was not articulate or fluent. However, it was understandable and acceptable enough to lead prayer in a mosque. One time as I recited Al Fatiha like I had done many times, strangely I could not remember each and every word. The recitation of the Quran is supposed to be word for word, without even one word left out. I could hear a Muslim brother behind me trying to correct me, but I could not remember. After prayer he came to me. An Egyptian, he was fluent in Arabic and the recitation of the Quran. I have never forgotten his words. He said, "Brother, because of your error of omitting a word, Allah will not accept our prayers. The imam is the one who stands in front. Everyone else follows him as he leads prayer. The responsibility of the prayer is on him. If he is incorrect, everyone's prayers are rejected." His words rang in my ears, and the weight of the responsibility was too great for me to bear. I told him that I would never lead prayer in the mosque again.
After that day, I knew there was something happening to me, but I did not know what. As much as I loved Islam, doubts began to enter my mind. My life as a Muslim began to unravel quickly.
Then one day I received a letter from my sister inviting me to attend her graduation ceremony from Christ for the Nations. I knew in my heart that this visit to Texas would be important. I telephoned my sister and told her, "I believe this trip will be a turning point in my life. I have been praying that prayer you asked me to pray. When I come back I will either be a Christian, or I will rededicate my life to Islam."
My sister met me at the airport and took me to her graduation. Singing and praise filled the air as we entered the auditorium. I could sense that it was special. After the service, my sister introduced me to a former Muslim from Africa. He began to explain why he had become a Christian. He explained that he had been raised a Muslim in a tribe that mixed old tribal practices with Islam. He shared an awesome testimony of how he came to know Jesus Christ.
The next day, my sister introduced me to an Egyptian student who was a former Muslim. I will never forget him. I was really impressed because he came from a long line of Muslims. He knew Islam and the Quran and was fluent in Arabic. He shared Philippians 2:5 with me. He began to tell me how God loved us so much that He came Himself in the very person of Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins, leaving his high throne and giving up his authority to take on human form and became a servant. He told me God was a personal God. He said his mother had told him, "If you denounce Christianity, I will give you one million dollars. For you to confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God is shirk [idolatry] in Islam." She said, "Son, if you do not denounce Christianity, then from this day forward you are no longer my son. You are dead." He told his mother that he could never, never deny Jesus Christ as the Son of God, because Jesus was his Savior. He told me how he cried and was deeply hurt because his whole family turned their backs on him. His words touched my heart deeply.
The next day, my sister took me to her church. There they were singing, praising and worshipping God, and I decided that day that I would accept Jesus Christ. After the pastor gave his talk, I told him I wanted to accept Jesus. I did not understand the concept of the Trinity, but I had to take a step of faith. Everything else I had tried had disappointed me. The minister explained that understanding would come, but I must first experience Jesus Christ by faith.
I did not understand what I had done, but I knew I was a changed man inside. It was like a ton of weight lifted off of me. I no longer had to try to live by law or try to be good enough to get to heaven.
Today, I know that I have a personal relationship with Jesus. I know that it is by God's grace that I am saved.
As a Muslim I was formerly known as Khalif Majid Hassan. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in Dallas, Texas in December, 1986.

Concerned governmental sources have called for prayer over information they just received that ISIS sleeper cells in the United States are organizing in a coordinated effort to attack active US military and their families.

A confidential government source called BridgeBuilders' President Hal Sacks on Saturday night with the news and plea for prayer.

He told Sacks, "We were briefed last night by the Air Force that 3 or 4 days ago ISIS put out a call to all of the "sleepers" or underground ISIS members in the United States to start an organized attack against the active duty military and their families."

The Air Force spokesperson "was firm about it as being a real threat," the source said. "However, the Executive Administration is discounting the information brought forth in this and other briefings."  The source said they also were briefed that military intelligence has been uncovering a pattern of cell phone chatter. They are discovering cell-towers across the US that appear to be dormant and are not claimed by any of the government's agencies used for surveillance, such as often done by the NSA.  It is not confirmed but these cell-towers "could be hacked into by organizations like ISIS to listen in and coordinate," the source said they were told in the briefing.

A law enforcement bulletin obtained by FoxNews. Com warned that Islamic State fighters have increased calls for "lone wolves" to attack U. S. Soldiers in America in recent months, citing one tweet that called for jihadists to find service members' addresses online and then "show up and slaughter them." This is part of what is expected to be "a continued call" for American military personnel to be targeted within the United States.

Thursday CNN reported that a former CIA officer said he has no doubt Islamic State (ISIS) sleeper cells are already planted on U. S. Soil. Former CIA officer Bob Baer told CNN,"I have been told with no uncertainty there are ISIS sleeper cells in this country," he said.

However Homeland Security News Wire reports there are considerable discrepancies in the information brought forth from U. S. Intelligence services regarding the strength of the Islamic State (IS) in the US . This has led critics to the conclusion that the U. S. Intelligence community knows little about the terrorists' actual strength as the Obama Administration is in the process of developing the military strategy to defeat the Islamist organization.

In recent days members of Congress on both sides of the aisle have begun to speak out about the threat of ISIS. One such statement came last week: "This is a terrorist group the likes of which we haven't seen before, and we better stop them now," said Senator Bill Nelson (D-Florida) last week. It ought to be pretty clear when they start cutting off the heads of journalists and say they're going to fly the black flag of ISIS over the White House that ISIS is a clear and present danger."

As Christians we must take this threat seriously! God can thwart this and any terrorist threat against our nation if we will fervently call upon Him (2 Chron. 7:14).

PRAY:

Pray for President Obama like never before!! He is president during one of the most dangerous times for America and the world and needs our fervent prayers every day. Father God, we pray that President Obama would receive accurate information about the strength, location, and plans of ISIS on American soil. We pray he will have good understanding with real and grave certainty the threat the Islamic state is to this nation and act appropriately in protecting our nation. Give him godly wisdom and bold courage to be an effective commander- in- chief in this time of war.

Pray for wisdom and strategy for the US Congress, Homeland Security, and the US Military: Father, we pray for our leaders in Congress, Homeland Security and our military to be awake at their posts, armed with accurate and clear intelligence in order to take fast and decisive action against ISIS or any other terrorists before their plots are hatched. Give our leaders godly wisdom, consensus, and coordinated strategies from heaven to defeat our ISIS enemy.

Pray for the Exposure of ISIS plots: Father we pray there is nothing covered that will not be revealed or hidden that will not be made known (Matthew 10:26). Expose the whereabouts of ISIS and all terrorist sleeper cells and stop their plans before they can act.

Pray protection over our US Military personnel and their families. Father, we pray a hedge of protection around our military and their families. We appropriate Your promises in Psalm 91 that our military and their families will be safe under Your wings. Deliver them from the evil schemes and traps of their enemies. Station Your angels around their homes and vehicles. Watch over them, their spouses, children, and grand children as they go from place to place in their daily lives.

Pray for the protection of public places where military personnel and their families may go: Father God, we pray for the protection of our military, their families, and all people in churches, schools, sporting events, transit systems, and other public places that would be a target for terrorists. We declare no evil will come upon men, women, or children in such gatherings and that You uncover and bring to an end every evil plot.

Pray for the protection of US Military bases. If you live near or your church is near a military base, begin ongoing prayer meetings for the protection of the base and its personnel. Father, put our military bases on high alert. May no one with evil intent get past their guards. Give those "watchmen" at their posts supernatural discernment and alertness. Help them to see and stop anything or anyone who brings a threat of danger. Expose and thwart every evil plan aimed at our military bases or their personnel.

BAGHDAD - The United States has conducted an escalating campaign of deadly airstrikes against the extremists of the Islamic State for more than a month. But that appears to have done little to tamp down the conspiracy theories still circulating from the streets of Baghdad to the highest levels of Iraqi government that the C. I. A. Is secretly behind the same extremists that it is now attacking.

"We know about who made Daesh," said Bahaa al-Araji, a deputy prime minister, using an Arabic shorthand for the Islamic State on Saturday at a demonstration called by the Shiite cleric Moktada al-Sadr to warn against the possible deployment of American ground troops. Mr. Sadr publicly blamed the C. I. A. for creating the Islamic State in a speech last week, and interviews suggested that most of the few thousand people at the demonstration, including dozens of members of Parliament, subscribed to the same theory. (Mr. Sadr is considered close to Iran, and the theory is popular there as well.)

When an American journalist asked Mr. Araji to clarify if he blamed the C. I. A. for the Islamic State, he retreated: "I don't know. I am one of the poor people," he said, speaking fluent English and quickly stepping back toward the open door of a chauffeur-driven SUV. "But we fear very much. Thank you!" The prevalence of the theory in the streets underscored the deep suspicions of the American military's return to Iraq more than a decade after its invasion, in 2003. The casual endorsement by a senior official, though, was also a pointed reminder that the new Iraqi government may be an awkward partner for the American-led campaign to drive out the extremists.

How ISIS Works

With oil revenues, arms and organization, the jihadist group controls vast stretches of Syria and Iraq and aspires to statehood. The Islamic State, also known by the acronym ISIS, has conquered many of the predominantly Sunni Muslim provinces in Iraq's northeast, aided by the alienation of many residents to the Shiite-dominated government of the former prime minister, Nuri Kamal al-Maliki. President Obama has insisted repeatedly that American military action against the Islamic State depended on the installation of a more inclusive government in Baghdad, but he moved ahead before it was complete.

The Parliament has not yet confirmed nominees for the crucial posts of interior or defense minister, in part because of discord between Sunni and Shiite factions, and the Iraqi news media has reported that it may be more than a month before the posts are filled.

The demonstration on Saturday was the latest in a series of signals from Shiite leaders or militias, especially those considered close to Iran, warning the United States not to put its soldiers back on the ground. Mr. Obama has pledged not to send combat troops, but he seems to have convinced few Iraqis. "We don't trust him," said Raad Hatem, 40.

Haidar al-Assadi, 40, agreed. "The Islamic State is a clear creation of the United States, and the United States is trying to intervene again using the excuse of the Islamic State," he said.

Shiite militias and volunteers, he said, were already answering the call from religious leaders to defend Iraq from the Islamic State without American help. "This is how we do it," he said, adding that the same forces would keep American troops out. "The main reason Obama is saying he will not invade again is because he knows the Islamic resistance" of the Shiite militias "and he does not want to lose a single soldier."

The leader of the Islamic State, for his part, declared on Saturday that he defied the world to stop him. "The conspiracies of Jews, Christians, Shiites and all the tyrannical regimes in the Muslim countries have been powerless to make the Islamic State deviate from its path," the leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, declared in an audio recording released over the Internet, using derogatory terms from early Islamic history to refer to Christians and Shiites.

"The entire world saw the powerlessness of America and its allies before a group of believers," he said. "People now realize that victory is from God, and it shall not be aborted by armies and their arsenals."

Many at the rally in Baghdad said they welcomed airstrikes against Mr. Baghdadi's Islamic State but not American ground forces, the position that Mr. Sadr has taken. Many of the 30 lawmakers backed by Mr. Sadr - out of a Parliament of 328 seats - attended the rally.

Mr. Sadr's supporters opposed Mr. Maliki, the former prime minister, and many at the rally were quick to criticize the former government for mistakes like failing to build a more dependable army. "We had a good army, so where is this army now?" asked Waleed al-Hasnawi, 35. "Maliki gave them everything, but they just left the battlefield." But few if any blamed Mr. Maliki for alienating Sunnis, as American officials assert, by permitting sectarian abuses under the Shiite-dominated security forces.

Omar al-Jabouri, 31, a Sunni Muslim from a predominantly Shiite neighborhood of Baghdad who attended the rally and said he volunteers with a Shiite brigade, argued that Mr. Maliki had alienated most Iraqis, regardless of their sect. "He did not just exclude and marginalize the Sunni people; he ignored the Shiite people, too," Mr. Jabouri said. "He gave special help to his family, his friends, people close to him. He did not really help the Shiite people, as many people think."

But the Islamic State was a different story, Mr. Jabouri said. "It is obvious to everyone that the Islamic State is a creation of the United States and Israel."

In the summer of 2007, two prominent Somali Islamists left their war-torn country for the tranquillity of Qatar's capital, Doha. The men were put up in the five-star Millennium Hotel before addressing a seminar on the evils of Western intervention in their homeland.

In a Gulf state with no qualms about hosting radicals from across the Muslim world, there was nothing unusual about this event, save for the fact that one organiser had already crossed America's radar screen for his alleged extremist sympathies.

Abdul Rahman al-Nuaimi would later be designated by the US Treasury as a “global terrorist” and accused of sitting at the centre of a web of funding for al-Qaeda affiliates in countries ranging from Yemen to Syria, and from Iraq to Somalia.

Although he protests his innocence, Mr Nuaimi was singled out last December for US sanctions, including a travel ban and asset freeze.

Despite this public designation, Mr Nuaimi is believed to remain at liberty in Doha.

Until he was named by the US Treasury, he was president of Al-Karama, a charity based in Geneva that describes itself as an “independent human rights organization” dedicated to helping

victims of abuses in the “Arab world”...

World Leaders Are Flooding Into New York This Week For A Crucial Meeting

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - World leaders gather in New York this week to tackle a host of crises: the violence Islamic State militants are wreaking in Iraq and Syria, the exponential spread of the deadly Ebola virus in Africa and deadlocked negotiations on Iran's nuclear program.

There is little hope the 193-nation U.N. General Assembly will achieve much in the annual five-day marathon of speeches. But on the sidelines, U.S. officials plan to lobby allies for pledges of concrete military assistance to help defeat Islamic State, whose hardline Sunni Islamist fighters have taken over swaths of Syrian and Iraqi territory.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said more than 140 heads of state or government will attend the assembly's annual "general debate", which begins on Wednesday and ends Sept. 30. He noted an unusually large number of serious conflicts: in the Middle East, Africa and Ukraine.

"The world is facing multiple crises," Ban told reporters.

"All have featured atrocious attacks on civilians, including children," he said. "All have dangerous sectarian, ethnic or tribal dimensions. And many have seen sharp divisions within the international community itself over the response."

U.N. officials and delegates say the top issue for Western and Arab leaders is the rampage of Islamic State militants, who are blamed for a wave of sectarian violence, beheadings and massacres of civilians.

"Together, we will address the horrendous violence in Syria and Iraq, where conflict and governance failures have provided a breeding ground for extremist groups," Ban said.

U.S. President Barack Obama is expected to use the U.N. podium on Wednesday to call for more countries to join his coalition of more than 40 nations to prevent IS from expanding its territory. The United States has been bombing IS targets in Iraq for the past month but has yet to bomb Syria.

The White House said it was unlikely that Obama would meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani while both are in New York this week. But Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif at which they are expected to discuss Iran's atomic program and IS.

On Friday, Kerry told a special meeting of the Security Council that Iran could play a role in helping tackle IS, an apparent shift in the U.S. position. Both Iran and the United States have ruled out military cooperation.

EBOLA OUTBREAK

In addition to speeches by Obama, Rouhani and other high-profile leaders, other important attendees making their U.N. General Assembly debut this week include Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On Wednesday, Obama will chair a rare summit meeting of the U.N. Security Council on the problem of foreign fighters. He last chaired a council summit in 2009 on eradicating nuclear weapons.

At Wednesday's meeting, the council plans to adopt a resolution demanding countries "prevent and suppress" recruitment and travel of foreign fighters to join extremist militant groups like IS by ensuring it is a serious criminal offence under domestic laws. Foreign fighters in IS are believed to be the group's cruelest.

U.N. member states will also tackle the Ebola crisis in West Africa. Obama and other leaders will also attend a high-level meeting on the exponentially worsening hemorrhagic fever outbreak that has devastated Liberia, Sierra Leone and other countries in the region.

The meeting comes just after the Security Council declared Ebola a "threat to international peace and security" and established the first-ever U.N. mission dedicated to tackling a public-health threat.

Since the current outbreak was first detected in March, Ebola has infected at least 5,357 people, according to the World Health Organization, mostly in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. It has also spread to Senegal and Nigeria. The virus has killed an estimated 2,630 people.

Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf had been due to speak at the General Assembly this week but canceled her trip to New York because of the Ebola crisis.

While the General Assembly speeches are going on, senior foreign ministry officials from the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China are meeting in New York with Iranian officials. They will try to break a deadlock in talks aimed at ending sanctions in exchange for curbs on Iran's nuclear program. Foreign ministers from the six powers may join the talks in the course of the week.

Even though a Nov. 24 deadline for a long-term deal is a mere two months away, diplomats close to the talks say a deal in New York is unlikely.

Just ahead of the General Assembly on Tuesday, U.N. chief Ban will convene a global summit meeting on climate change that aims to set the stage for a major environmental conference in Paris next year. Obama is expected to use the session to highlight strides the United States has made on climate change.

There will also be high-level side meetings on conflicts in Syria, Libya, South Sudan, Ukraine, the Central African Republic, Mali, the Israeli-Palestinian problem, and the U.N. war on poverty.
