Omara: (Ohara is with me) Every day has brought you closer to building the "dream team" you desire, to help you accomplish the wonderful projects ahead.  Those of you who have big plans for helping others are feeling the sense of increased trust, enthusiasm and inspiration that is ignited when you speak with others about your dreams for a better world. It is very important now that you move ahead with your plans, with creating the network you will need to execute your plans, which will require careful planning, organizational skills, diplomacy and great imagination to bring to fruition. Many of you have dreams of helping others in distant countries.  You may have a special connection to the land of your parents' birth, or a past life locale.  In those cases, you will need a good working knowledge of the language and a close partnership with the local people and their leaders. Above all, do not design a plan for any project if it does not draw on the wisdom and participation of local leaders, elders and elected officials.  Remember: a gift is not a gift unless it fits exactly with what the other person(s) would specifically ask for.  Without their specific request, you are not giving them what they need, but what you want to give.  This is not a gift - it is an ego trip. Secondly, do not expect to be celebrated as a hero.  Give what you can, but do it anonymously, especially where money is concerned.  Go to help out, join hands and roll up your sleeves, but do not be the one who offers the huge check for the local media to photograph. Your gift of concern and friendship will have a much deeper impact than a hit-and-run pot of money dumped in the laps of those who may or may not have the expertise or willingness to use the money wisely. Many of you have asked over the years, "What is my path? What am I here to accomplish?"  We remind you now:  You have already done what you came here to accomplish.  You have raised your vibration; you have participated in a family life; you have made friends and developed relationships in every area of your life.  This is why you are here, Beloved Ones, to get to know each other, and when you can, to bring out the best in one another.  As you have done that throughout your life, you have learned which ones are trust-worthy, which are still asleep, and where you feel most comfortable being your authentic self. We have strongly encouraged you, with daily messages and constant encouragement, to take this opportunity to dive deeply into your own less-than-conscious mind, to uncover any and all residue of unfinished business - leftover feelings of resentment, impatience or anger - to identify their sources in this life, find a way to accept and forgive all feelings, no matter how distasteful it might seem to you to see them in yourself. This is the final challenge, Beloved Ones.  We are helping you with the massive shifts in energy which are taking place in the Cosmos and within your own DNA makeup.  You are now prepared in your physical and etheric bodies to adapt completely to the 5th dimensional plane of existence, but there is one necessary shift on your part to complete and hold the process.  You must be an active participant in the final phase of your rehabilitation from darkness into Light. We have told you about dark thought forms.  They are all the negative feelings from irritation to anger to rage, including jealousy, depression and anxiety.  All these are on the fear spectrum - the feelings that energize and strengthen ego defensiveness.  These, Dear Ones, are the feelings you are responsible for in yourself.  You are the shepherd of your own feelings and thoughts.  They are yours to keep or leave behind.  We have given you the level playing field, the energy of Love to surround you and ease your way out of the old hallucinations and illusions. Be scrupulous in your examination of your own feelings and thoughts.  Measure and scrutinize the atmosphere of your inner world, with an attitude of good humor and loving acceptance.  They are just the teachings you came into adulthood with.  They are not a measure of who you are.  They do not have anything to do with your worthiness or intelligence.  They are just ideas, nothing more. Do not become attached to ideas in any way.  If you discover an idea floating around in your brain, question it. You don't have to believe something just because you think it.  It doesn't matter who taught it to you or how much you believed it at the time. It is only a collection of ideas. Compare it to your old marble collection or the socks that no longer match.  An idea is only as good as its usefulness in the present, and even then it must be seen as simply a convenient tool, to be discarded when its time is past. And so, Beloveds, look now at every "opinion", attitude or belief you hold.  Do you still need it? If you are truly anchored in your heart, nothing you say will sound like an "opinion."  It will simply be a deep conviction of basic Universal principles, gently and graciously applied.  You will not find yourself in debates or arguments about what you believe or what someone else believes. It will not matter to you what others believe.   Actions are to be addressed, yes, especially if they are cruel, intolerant, hateful or destructive.  You must of course protect yourself and those you love, but if you find yourself acting out of fear, stop and reconsider. For instance, the fear mongering about ISIS and its supposed "threat to your way of life" is just nonsense.  ISIS is a profit-oriented, Western-inspired cabal. They have managed to recruit desperate young men to do their dirty work, once they have been brainwashed into radical beliefs, but it is anything but a homegrown movement.  Eliminate the cabal and the "rebels" will return to their families and their more heart-centered beliefs. Ebola is a patented bio-weapon.  The U.S. holds the patent for it.  There is no vaccination that will protect you, but you may very well contract the disease if you submit to being "immunized".  There is a cure, however.  It is nano-silver, similar to colloidal silver, which is also effective in eliminating the disease.  If you wish to help, join the effort to make these substances available to those who are affected or in danger of exposure.  No one needs to die of this primitive man-made concoction. You see, these are dramatic examples of the difference between those who act out of fear (and ignore the truth), thereby putting themselves into the care of the cabal,  and those who accept the truth and look for a real solution.  Be the "warriors" for Light, Dear Ones.  This means you apply your energy and inspiration to creating solutions, calmly and joyfully, and with Love in your hearts.  All challenges can be overcome, all difficulties resolved in the loving company of your beloved human traveling companions. Be fearless, be loving, and be joyful as you do your final housecleaning within.  We have created the environment and given you the tools to complete the job.  We have pointed out the small excavation that needs to be done inside yourself.  We promise to stand with you, lovingly cheering you, embracing you and covering you with kisses as you carry yourself through the last mile of this marathon challenge. Americans face post-foreclosure hell as wages garnished, assets seized

NEW YORK - Many thousands of Americans who lost their homes in the housing bust, but have since begun to rebuild their finances, are suddenly facing a new foreclosure nightmare: debt collectors are chasing them down for the money they still owe by freezing their bank accounts, garnishing their wages and seizing their assets.

By now, banks have usually sold the houses. But the proceeds of those sales were often not enough to cover the amount of the loan, plus penalties, legal bills and fees. The two big government-controlled housing finance companies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, as well as other mortgage players, are increasingly pressing borrowers to pay whatever they still owe on mortgages they defaulted on years ago.

Using a legal tool known as a "deficiency judgment," lenders can ensure that borrowers are haunted by these zombie-like debts for years, and sometimes decades, to come. Before the housing bubble, banks often refrained from seeking deficiency judgments, which were seen as costly and an invitation for bad publicity. Some of the biggest banks still feel that way.

But the housing crisis saddled lenders with more than $1 trillion of foreclosed loans, leading to unprecedented losses. Now, at least some large lenders want their money back, and they figure it’s the perfect time to pursue borrowers: many of those who went through foreclosure have gotten new jobs, paid off old debts and even, in some cases, bought new homes.

"Just because they don't have the money to pay the entire mortgage, doesn't mean they don't have enough for a deficiency judgment," said Florida foreclosure defense attorney Michael Wayslik.

Advocates for the banks say that the former homeowners ought to pay what they owe. Consumer advocates counter that deficiency judgments blast those who have just recovered from financial collapse back into debt — and that the banks bear culpability because they made the unsustainable loans in the first place.

“SLAPPED TO THE FLOOR”

Borrowers are usually astonished to find out they still owe thousands of dollars on homes they haven't thought about for years.

In 2008, bank teller Danell Huthsing broke up with her boyfriend and moved out of the concrete bungalow they shared in Jacksonville, Florida. Her name was on the mortgage even after she moved out, and when her boyfriend defaulted on the loan, her name was on the foreclosure papers, too.

She moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she managed to amass $20,000 of savings and restore her previously stellar credit score in her job as a service worker at an Amtrak station.  

But on July 5, a process server showed up on her doorstep with a lawsuit demanding $91,000 for the portion of her mortgage that was still unpaid after the home was foreclosed and sold. If she loses, the debt collector that filed the suit can freeze her bank account, garnish up to 25 percent of her wages, and seize her paid-off 2005 Honda Accord.

"For seven years you think you're good to go, that you've put this behind you," said Huthsing, who cleared her savings out of the bank and stowed the money in a safe to protect it from getting seized. "Then wham, you get slapped to the floor again."

Bankruptcy is one way out for consumers in this rub. But it has serious drawbacks: it can trash a consumer's credit report for up to ten years, making it difficult to get credit cards, car loans or home financing. Oftentimes, borrowers will instead go on a repayment plan or simply settle the suits — without questioning the filings or hiring a lawyer — in exchange for paying a lower amount.

Though court officials and attorneys in foreclosure-ravaged regions like Florida, Ohio and Illinois all say the cases are surging, no one keeps official tabs on the number nationally. "Statistically, this is a real difficult task to get a handle on," said Geoff Walsh, an attorney with the National Consumer Law Center.  

Officials in individual counties say that the cases, while virtually zero a year or two ago, now number in the hundreds in each county. Thirty-eight states, along with the District of Columbia, allow financial institutions recourse to claw back these funds. 

"I've definitely noticed a huge uptick," said Cook County, Illinois homeowner attorney Sandra Emerson. "They didn’t include language in court motions to pursue these. Now, they do."

"A CURSE"

Three of the biggest mortgage lenders, Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase & Co and Wells Fargo & Co., all say that they typically don't pursue deficiency judgments, though they reserve the right to do so. "We may pursue them on a case-by-case basis looking at a variety of factors, including investor and mortgage insurer requirements, the financial status of the borrower and the type of hardship," said Wells Fargo spokesman Tom Goyda. The banks would not comment on why they avoid deficiency judgments.

Perhaps the most aggressive among the debt pursuers is Fannie Mae. Of the 595,128 foreclosures Fannie Mae was involved in – either through owning or guaranteeing the loans - from January 2010 through June 2012, it referred 293,134 to debt collectors for possible pursuit of deficiency judgments, according to a 2013 report by the Inspector General for the agency’s regulator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency.

It is unclear how many of the loans that get sent to debt collectors actually get deficiency judgments, but the IG urged the FHFA to direct Fannie Mae, along with Freddie Mac, to pursue more of them from the people who could repay them.

It appears as if Fannie Mae is doing just that. In Florida alone in the past year, for example, at least 10,000 lawsuits have been filed — representing hundreds of millions of dollars of payments, according to Jacksonville, Florida-based attorney Chip Parker.

Parker is about to file a class action lawsuit against the Dallas-based debt collection company, Dyck O'Neal, which is working to recoup the money on behalf of Fannie Mae. The class action will allege that Dyck O'Neal violated fair debt collection practices by suing people in the state of Florida who actually lived out of state. Dyck O'Neal declined to comment.

In Lee County, Florida, for example, Dyck O'Neal only filed four foreclosure-related deficiency judgment cases last year. So far this year, it has filed 360 in the county, which has more than 650,000 residents and includes Ft. Myers. The insurer the Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Company has also filed about 1,000 cases this past year in Florida alone.

Andrew Wilson, a spokesman for Fannie Mae, said the finance giant is focusing on "strategic defaulters:" those who could have paid their mortgages but did not. Fannie Mae analyzes borrowers' ability to repay based on their open credit lines, assets, income, expenses, credit history, mortgages and properties, according to the 2013 IG report.  "Fannie Mae and the taxpayers suffered a loss. We're focusing on people who had the ability to make a payment but decided not to do so,” said Wilson.

Freddie Mac spokesman Brad German said the decision to pursue deficiency judgments for any particular loan is made on a "case-by-case basis."

The FHFA declined to comment.

But homeowner-defense lawyers point out that separating strategic defaulters from those who were in real distress can be tricky. If a distressed borrower suddenly manages to improve their financial position – by, for example, getting a better-paying job - they can be classified as a strategic defaulter.

Dyck O'Neal works with most national lenders and servicing companies to collect on charged-off residential real estate. It purchases foreclosure debts outright, often for pennies on the dollar, and also performs collections on a contingency basis on behalf of entities like Fannie Mae. "The debt collectors tend to be much more aggressive than the lenders had been," the National Consumer Law Center's Walsh said.

A big reason for the new surge in deficiency claims, attorneys say, is that states like Florida have recently enacted laws limiting the time financial institutions have to sue for the debt after a foreclosure. In Florida, for example, financial institutions now only have a year after a foreclosure sale to sue — down from five.

Once financial institutions secure a judgment, they can sometimes have years to collect on the claim. In Maryland, for example, they have as long as 36 years to chase people down for the debt. Financial institutions can charge post-judgment interest of an estimated 4.75 percent a year on the remaining balance until the statute of limitation runs out, which can drive people deeper into debt.  

"This is monumentally unfair and damaging to the economy," said Ira Rheingold, the executive director of the National Association of Consumer Advocates. "It prevents people from moving forward with their lives."

Software developer Doug Weinberg was just getting back on his feet when he got served in July with a $61,000 deficiency judgment on his old condo in Miami's Biscayne Bay. Weinberg thought the ordeal was over after Bank of America, which rejected Weinberg’s short sale offers, foreclosed in 2009.

"It's a curse," said Weinberg. "It's still haunting me. It just doesn't go away."

Those who run watchdog news websites are scratching their heads and trying to make sense of the latest data released by a California company that measures website traffic.

According to data for July through September, almost every major website – from WND to the Drudge Report and Breitbart – saw its rankings drop on Alexa.com while pro-government sites mostly went up.

Alexa Internet Inc. is a subsidiary of Amazon.

Familiar names in alternative media like the Drudge Report, Breitbart, Infowars, the Blaze, Newsmax, WND, FoxNews.com, and the Daily Caller all saw their rankings plummet while sites such as NPR.org, the Daily Kos, Democracy Now!, Media Matters and ThinkProgress all rose in the rankings.

Alexa portends to measure the traffic of thousands of websites around the world and then assigns a ranking to each site. The data can be important because it is used, along with that collected by a handful of similar companies like Comscore, Quantcast and Google Analytics, to determine placement of advertisements that websites rely on to pay the bills and keep running.

Tucker Carlson, founder of Washington, D.C.-based the Daily Caller, said the data being put out by Alexa doesn’t square with that being reported by his own analytics.

“We had 13,557,850 unique visitors in September,” Carlson told WND. “By comparison, we had 12,784,656 uniques in August, so Alexa would be wrong if they’re reading the data correctly.”

The staff at Austin, Texas-based Infowars was equally perplexed by the numbers.

“As a certified member of Alexa, we find these trends troubling because in their very own subscription data on their site, we have had significant growth for the period indicated,” said Infowars reporters in an emailed statement.

Infowars is also seeing increases in another indicator, its largest YouTube channel.

“Our analytics indicate 305,000 views on 8-1-14 trending upward to 456,000 views on 10/11/14. This is views per day and represents a 50 percent rise in views during that period,” the staff said via email.

WND Editor and CEO Joseph Farah said WND’s traffic has also been up.

“What’s happening at Alexa.com is shocking and demands a public response from Amazon.com, which owns the company,” Farah said. “Over the 17 years WND has been around, we’ve seen this kind of thing before. It smacks, at first glance, like a deliberate effort to destroy and discredit alternative news sites – especially those that don’t grovel at the feet of government and seek to be the watchdogs the American press are supposed to be.”

WND was the first independent Internet news-gathering alternative in 1997.

“How does one explain the disparity between the recent gains on Alexa by statist, pro-government, pro-status quo, establishment sites and the precipitous drops on Alexa by the anti-establishment alternatives?” Farah said. “These rankings are not based on dropping traffic. No such drop is taking place. The Alexa rankings over the last week suggest the company has thrown out its role as a politically impartial Internet ranking service and thrown its lot in with search engines like Google and Bing, which admittedly give preferences through their algorithms to establishment Internet content sites like CNN and Huffington Post.”

Even websites such as PlannedParenthood.org appeared to see surging rankings while LifeNews.com took a tumble:

WND reached out to Alexa through email, phone and Facebook to ask if the company’s methodology has in any way changed, but did not get a response. Phone messages were left specifically with Alexa’s operations manager, Ron Shalhoup, who had not responded by the time of this report.

The company did publish a blog posting that explains a new method of calculating its rankings based on what it says is a wider panel of viewers.

“We’re excited to announce that after a lot of hard work, the size of Alexa’s global traffic panel will be significantly increasing,” writes Leigh Katcher in the blog. “Over the next month we’ll be incorporating lots of new data points, which will help improve the accuracy of our metrics. As a reminder, our data panel is a sample of global Internet traffic used to calculate Alexa ranks and estimate non-Certified metrics.”

The blog posting continued, “With better data, we’ll be able to offer deeper insights into your site, your competitors’ site and overall traffic strategy. One immediate result of the additional data is that you may see your traffic rank fluctuate, especially for sites ranked greater than 100,000.”

The producer of a major conservative website, who asked not to be identified, said he doesn’t give too much credence to any single monitoring site’s data.

“I don’t often go to Alexa,” he said. “Alexa is not a perfect snapshot. It’s based on a pool of people who have to agree to be tracked. Alexa has its own panel. And they don’t represent a very broad section of the country. They tend to skew things toward techies and people in the western part of the country.”

The source said some websites can “buy” a higher traffic rating from powerful social media companies like Facebook and Twitter.

“A lot of the sites you listed spend thousands a month to boost their posts, their traffic,” he said. “We don’t do that. It’s amazing to me how people can artificially inflate their traffic one month. Many have spent tremendously by paying Facebook and Twitter. A lot of it now is driven in the social media sphere. So my view is, I don’t want to voice any grievance against any of them – my traffic is my traffic and I’m responsible for it – but everybody is at the whim of the Facebook algorithm.”
