Is Saudi Arabia’s oil policy targeting both Russia’s economy and the US shale energy industry? [Archives]

As oil prices continue to decline, there are concerns in both Europe and the US that major industry and production could be dragged along in what has so far appeared as a six-month free fall.

In the first major day of trade since the Christmas and new year holidays, benchmark Texas crude plummeted a whopping five per cent to $50 a barrel. This is the lowest mark in more than five-and-a-half years. The impact was clearly felt on Wall Street.

 

Major oil companies such as Exxon Mobil, Hess, British Petroleum (BP) and Chevron dropped from 2.74 to more than 5 per cent, and pulled the rest of the markets down.

By the end of trading on Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, S&P500 and Nasdaq had all fallen by at least 1.57 per cent.

 

The Saudi Factor

 

Oil supply is currently more than demand – the stagnation and recession in many Eurozone countries has forced industry and governments to scale back imports. As a result, oil prices are unlikely to rise considerably until the global outlook improves.

 

Major oil producers such as Texaco, ConocoPhilips, and others are also beginning to worry as they see their profits slashed. Prices at the pump in the US – already less than $2 in some states – could fall to a national average of $1.80 in the next few weeks. Ironically, it is advances in drilling that has propelled the US to the rank of number one oil producer in the world. Some analysts believe that it is the increased tapping of ‘shale’ oil in the US that has helped drastically slash global oil prices. But flipping through the various business and financial news networks, one can’t help but feel that the current oil market crisis – dare one say “glut” – took most analysts by surprise.

 

Even some OPEC members may have erred in believing that oil prices will hover around $65 a barrel until the cartel’s next summit in June 2015.  But they do agree that Saudi Arabia holds the winning card in this.  In a meeting of oil ministers late November, OPEC fell in line with Saudi Arabia’s decision not to interfere in falling prices and refrain from cutting production.  In fact, in November, Saudi Arabia helped oil prices tumble by slashing the cost of crude oil deliveries to the US, and later Europe.

 

OPEC’s Secretary-General Abdallah Al-Badri has repeatedly said that the cartel would not rush to bandage the price glut.  “We want to see the market, how the market behaves, because the decline of the price does not reflect a fundamental change,” he has maintained.

 

Theories and conspiracies

 

In previous years, OPEC members have been rather aggressive about maintaining oil price stability; they have relied on high global prices to balance their national budgets.

But with oil prices plunging, nearly all of the OPEC members this year will not be able to rely on their oil economy to balance their budgets; some, such as Saudi Arabia, will have to tap into their strategic foreign currency reserves to make up any deficit.

 

The question then this year is why OPEC has allowed this to happen. Many people point the finger at Saudi dominance of the cartel. As the largest oil producing and exporting country in the world the Kingdom may have a number of motives behind its decisions and policies.  There are those who believe that current Saudi policy is designed to help destroy Russia’s economy.

 

Moscow has been one of Saudi Arabia’s greatest energy competitors and geo-political adversaries. Russia has also been a strong backer of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and Iran – both of which Saudi Arabia has tried to undermine by supporting Islamist rebels in the region.  There are those who believe that Saudi is also targeting Iran’s oil-based economy as both countries vie for power and influence in the post-Iraq war era.

But perhaps the greatest theory that is gaining popularity among analysts is that Saudi Arabia fears the US growing shale oil industry and is trying to weaken it.

 

In essence, Saudi Arabia is investing in what it believes maintains its market share in the global oil industry.  If this is indeed the case, it may already be working.  Even before the latest oil price tumble, companies investing in shale oil production started to fear a dwindling profit margin and began to scale back investment in this energy sector. 

 

Shale investor ConocoPhilips, for example, has already slashed its budget by more than 20 per cent.  Financing for shale operations is also likely to decrease. Analysts believe that smaller shale companies are unlikely to survive the year.

In this article, I raise important questions about the Non-GMO Project (twitter) and its famous butterfly seal of approval on food products.

The Non-GMO Project is, by far, the largest testing program of its kind in North America. For example, Whole Foods has submitted thousands of its products for verification, so their stores can display the Project seals.

What does the seal actually say?

The butterfly seal literally reads: “NON-GMO Project VERIFIED.”

I haven’t changed the capital letters or the lower-case letters. So I’ll ask: which words do your eyes go to? The words in all-caps? 
 
Read only the words in all-caps. What do you get? “NON-GMO VERIFIED.” 
 
That suggests the product in question contains no GMOs, doesn’t it? 
 
But this is not the case, as I’ll show in a minute. 
 
The seal’s message is actually: “The Non-GMO Project is verifying…something. What is that something?

The Project is verifying that its standard has been met—and, as it turns out, that standard is not “non-GMO product” or “GMO-free.” 
 
Deceptive advertising? 
 
Through the use of capital letters, the consumer could very well believe the product he’s bought has been tested and the results show there are no GMOs. 
  
But here, in fact, is an excerpt from a statement on the Project’s own website:

“Are products bearing the ‘Non-GMO Project Verified’ seal GMO free? Unfortunately, ‘GMO free’ and similar claims are not legally or scientifically defensible due to limitations of testing methodology. In addition, the risk of contamination to seeds, crops, ingredients and products is too high to reliably claim that a product is ‘GMO free’. The Project’s claim offers a true statement acknowledging the reality of contamination risk, but assuring the shopper that the product in question is in compliance with the Project’s rigorous standard. The website url is included as part of the Seal to ensure that there is transparency for consumers who want to learn more about our verification. While the Non-GMO Project’s verification seal is not a ‘GMO free’ claim, it is trustworthy, defensible, transparent, and North America’s only independent verification for products made according to best practices for GMO avoidance.” [note: link and emphasis in the original]

In my opinion, the seal conveys one thing, and the website conveys another. Furthermore, on the Project’s own website statement, which I’ve just quoted, they mention the word “contamination.” They explain that this is one of the reasons they can’t assert “GMO free” on any product. But what does “contamination” mean? It certainly indicates “gene drift,” doesn’t it? And also a transfer of genes during shipping or processing?

Drift takes Monsanto’s genes, which have been inserted into certain food crops and spreads them on the wind to other food crops for which they weren’t intended.  The Non-GMO Project can’t identify them after they’ve drifted? The Project must have access to the full list of biotech genes and their makeup in order to do accurate testing of food products at all. So if one of those genes ends up in the “wrong” food plant, the Project can’t find it?  If that’s true, then people who buy products with the Project butterfly seal could, in fact, be getting products containing all sorts of “drifted genes” that haven’t been noticed or identified.

Two other points. As far as I can discover by searching the Project’s website, I see no mention of testing for toxic pesticides or herbicides. Remember, the absence of GMOs in a food product doesn’t automatically mean that product is pesticide-free. These dangerous chemicals are sprayed on huge numbers of crops that contain no GMOs. (Note: I’m not suggesting that the Non-GMO Project is misleading the consumer re pesticides; I’m simply stating the consumer should know that food products holding the butterfly seal can contain these chemicals.)

And finally, the Project states it uses labs that do “quantitative PCR testing,”  (Polymerase chain reaction) in order to look for GMOs. The PCR is a very sensitive procedure. It is prone to technician errors.  Under the surface of wide acceptance of the PCR technique, there is a significant controversy about whether the test can detect the amount of material it is looking for, rather than the mere presence of that material.  This is relevant to the Non-GMO Project’s stated function of discovering the percentage of foreign genetic material in any given food sample it examines. Can the Project really achieve this “quantification” on a reliable and regular basis?

On this issue, three scientists with knowledge of PCR have commented to me about the test, off the record, with the following:

a) quantifying or determining the amount of a substance you’ve tested for and found is not readily doable;

b) accurately quantifying very small amounts of a substance you’re looking for is probably not attainable; and

c) the whole PCR process is fraught with the potential for error.

In 1996, journalist John Lauritsen interviewed Kary Mullis. Lauritsen quoted Mullis as saying: “Quantitative PCR is an oxymoron.” Oxymoron means “contradictory, incongruous.”  Mullis isn’t just anybody. He is the inventor of PCR and won the 1993 Nobel Prize for it.

It’s A Global Depression

 

Now let’s put this into perspective:  Most people know that the global economy is in a slowdown.  The reason prices are going down is because people don’t have money to buy things.  That’s why retail sales are down not only in the United States but around the world.  They are calling this ‘deflation.’  But do any of these puppets have the courage to call it what it really is?  It’s a depression.  These are depressionary conditions but no one in the mainstream media wants to call it that.

 

We have seen a collapse in oil prices because demand is way down.  We are also seeing a collapse in commodity prices across the board.  Copper prices just hit 5-year lows.  Why?  Well, 40 percent of the copper supply is absorbed by China, and China doesn’t have that 7.5 percent growth anymore — it’s more like 3.5 percent.

 

Price Wars Across The Globe

 

So as China slows down and countries in the West are buying less, resource-rich countries aren’t exporting as many commodities or products.  This goes back to one of our top trends for 2015 — Price Wars.  You are now seeing Price Wars across the globe.

 

It’s finally beginning to dawn on people that there has been no recovery — it has all been a coverup.  The quantitative easing money has flooded the globe and created completely phony markets.  The tens of trillions of dollars that were injected into global markets did nothing of any substance to improve the general economy.

 

We are now seeing swings of 400 points in the Dow.  We’re seeing oil plummet and global stock markets beginning to decline because there are no fundamentals to support this.  So the markets are running scared.  And look at all the chaos that has erupted after the announcement today that the Swiss are abandoning the peg to the euro.  This move by Switzerland is only the beginning of a much larger meltdown, Eric.

I began getting recognition as a trend forecaster in 1987.  The Wall Street Journal covered my forecast.  I said, ‘1987 would be the year it all collapses.’  I said, ‘There will be a stock market crash.’  One of the fundamentals I was looking at were the crashing oil prices in 1986.

The accusers Europeans hardly had time to drink all the champagne left over from the New Year's Eve parties when George Soros declared to them (yet again) that they are "at war" with Russia and that "they need to start acting like it".  [1] acting as if Europe is at war means a full-scale political, economic and military mobilization against the enemy. It means the radical reorientation of the EU economies from domestic needs to the needs of the military-industrial complex. It means less schools, hospitals and nursing homes and more missiles, tanks, and helicopters. It means death and destruction instead of life and creation. Isn't it obvious that war turns all the things that a rational person would want for herself, her family and community into its opposites? And yet Soros insisted not only on the war's ongoing status but also on its beneficial nature.

 

In the discourse that had the elements of a "warmongering frenzy", he even went so far as to claim that it is only the war that can pull the EU from the current economic, institutional and identity crises. He openly articulated the infernal metaphysical thesis that "war is the father of all things" (Heraclitus). In doing so, he appears to have consciously placed himself into the enemies of the open society camp so carefully dissected by his mentor, Karl Popper.

 

To claim that war is the formula for prosperity and unity is to pledge allegiance to the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and there is no doubt that Soros has done exactly that. Some observers speculate that this public statement could be Soros' job application for the position of the chairman of the Central Bank of Ukraine.[2] Be that as it may, the current leadership of Ukraine has repeated, line by line, his basic points.

 

It has been a while since the prime minister, Arsenyi Yatsenyuk, accused Russia that it wanted to start the World War III.[3] And this sentiment is prevalent in the US-NATO intelligence and military circles. This powerful behind-the-curtains group is, however, faced with a huge public relations problem. The majority of the Europeans do not believe their fiery rhetoric and do not consider Russia as a threatening enemy. They are not willing to turn their countries into war fortresses and accept the suspension of democracy by military emergency decrees.

 

Clearly they need to be convinced somehow; they need "to start acting" like being at war as Soros put. How is this to be done? By instigating something big, scary and deadly and pointing the finger of blame to Russia. But, considering the stakes, it has to be on a greater scale than what the world has seen so far.

 

From where can this 21st century "shot in Sarajevo" be fired? Going nuclear? Though it is shuddering even to contemplate it, the answer might involve Ukraine's nuclear reactors. As we all know, Ukraine was already the site of one of the two biggest nuclear disasters in human history: the Chernobyl reactor meltdown in April 1986. The radiation spilt into the atmosphere led to many immediate deaths in the affected area, while many more have died from the exposure in the subsequent years both in Ukraine and beyond (including Northern Europe).

 

Apparently, this disaster also had dramatic political consequences. Influential commentators trace to it the beginnings of the policies of glasnost and perestroika which eventually led to the demise of the Soviet Union and the communist (state capitalist) system.[4] As the narrative goes, the Soviet government elite, which attempted to hide the truth from its citizens, was eventually punished by them for its mendacity. How come nothing similar ever happens in the West?

 

At this time, Ukraine has four nuclear power plants (NPP): Zaporizhia (six reactors), South-Ukraine (three reactors), Rivne (four reactors) and Khmelnytskyi (two reactors). None of the plants use the type of the reactor which exploded in Chernobyl. All except Rivne have official websites.[5] The websites of the South-Ukraine and Khmelnytskyi NPPs are in three languages (Russian, Ukrainian, and English), while the website of Zaporizhia NPP is only in Russian language. This might be accidental and meaningless, but the crux of the matter is always in the details.

 

The Zaporizhia NPP is the largest and most powerful of them all. In fact, it is the largest NPP in Europe and, according to its website, in a month or so it will celebrate the occasion of the one billion kWh energy production since its opening. It produces about one half of the total nuclear energy in Ukraine. And it is precisely this plant that has been most endangered since the fighting began. It is about 200 km from the reported warzone and many observers have already expressed considerable fear for its security.

 

In June 2014, the Greenpeace nuclear expert Tobias Munchmeyer claimed that the plant was "insufficiently protected" from possible bombardments and that its protective walls could withstand only "a small aircraft crash" (Mind you, this was before the MH-17 crash).[6] The official reply was that it could survive up to 5 tons of TNT explosives within the 200-meter parameter and a direct hit of MiG-29.  This is hardly reassuring as somebody could pile up more than 5 tons of TNT, or bring it closer than 200 meters, or send two or three MiG-29s.

 

Also, RT reported in May 2014 that a group of the alleged members of the neo-fascist Right Sector paramilitaries attempted to storm the plant. According to the grainy video posted on the web, they wanted to "protect the plant" from the pro-Russian groups which supposedly wanted to replace the Ukrainian flags on the roadblocks with the Russian ones.[7] The paramilitaries were eventually surrounded by the regular police and forced to leave the area. However, in a recent article in London's Independent, it is reported that the pro-Russian "agitators" were actually inside of the plant.[8] This of course makes the situation appear much more serious.

 

Another twist to the story is that the Right Sector officially denied that the paramilitaries in question had anything to do with their organization. To add fuel to the fires of suspicion, last month (December 2014), two of the plant's reactors were shut down (one, on December 3 and the other, on December 28) due to what was publicly explained as "electrical malfunctions". In the instance of the first shutdown, the prime minister Yatsenyuk caused a minor panic when he used the word "the accident", which was notoriously used by the Soviet press to break the news of the Chernobyl disaster.[9] This could have been a test to see how the public and the international community would react.

 

What is perhaps most worrying is that the delivery of the fuel assemblies to the plants has been the cause of the bitter competition between the American Westinghouse Electric Co. and the Russian state-owned TVEL.[10] For the two decades of the Ukraine's post-Soviet independence, the TVEL had a monopoly, but things began to change recently when some of the plants signed up with the American supplier. This led to the paradoxical situation that in certain cases the assemblies from both the Americans and the Russians are used in the same reactor. Perhaps this would not be much of a problem if one side did not consider itself to be "at war" with the other. As if to underscore the danger staring us in the face, the Westinghouse official Michael Kirst was quoted as saying that "if you look at a photograph of (the TVEL fuel assembly), you’ll see the space between is so narrow that (Westinghouse) must force its fuel assemblies into the reactor. I don’t have to tell you that (with nuclear fuel assemblies) that is a bad idea. 

 

These things can’t be forced.”[11] Obviously, the fuel assembly issue looks like a fertile ground for things to begin to deteriorate quickly in the direction of Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove. And for either side to take advantage to blame the other. We would of course know who really pulled the trigger, that is to say, placed the defective fuel assembly. But I doubt that those few survivors of the nuclear winter would really care at all. # # # #

A train loaded with 17 US military armored fighting vehicles, including Strykers, Humvees and SUVs, was seen rolling through Lithuanian city of Klaipeda on Thursday, as American troops resume NATO training in the region.

The 2nd Cavalry Regiment, also known as “Second Dragoons,” arrived in Lithuania from their base in Vilseck, Germany, on January 8. 

The US troops have since resumed allied training under "Operation Atlantic Resolve" with the Lithuanian military.

I am not sure of the legitimacy of the following report but the Henenghan Report clearly states that those who run the US Corporation are about to be arrested and our republic restored.
What I see is that in January we shall see allot of posturing, but in February we shall see allot more real actions taking place.  Just exactly goes on depends on how clean of a sweep the Red Dragon makes it.

 

If they do as GOD has directed, it should go smoothly.  If not, there will be allot of bumps in the road.

Maybe you need to go back to accounting the Old Fashon Way - by hand. A type writer cannot be hacked, either, nor can a computer that is not on the internet.

India is not capable of bypassing the internet ans their engineers would not be capable of doing this with the current state of affairs in India concerning power lines.

Operation Dead Duck, commonly referred to as "Quack Quack" is an operation set forth about many moons ago to test a new frequency weapon developed for underwater warfare.

For the last 5 years the US Navy has been testing this frequency directed weapon on Whales, Dolphins, Sharks and recently some Old US Tankers. The tankers hulls simply dissolved first  - coming apart at the seems and then dissolving.

The Next Phase:

1) The First ship targeted just south of the city of NAHA will be registered in Southern China and contain allot of Chinese writing on it and has a name similar to "Shang Ha." It will be headed to LA carrying mainly plastic toys painted with led paint.

In a few personal lockers and a "Boyancy Room" welded shut will be weapons. The Captain will be clueless what is in this room - Plausible Deniability.

Since the Rothchilds control the Central Chinese Bank it is unlikely the Chinese will be able to respond in any significant manner so the Red Dragon Family will have to once again bow to their Western Masters - something they have done now since 1727.

 

2) The Second Ship to be sunk has a name similar to "Dong Shu?" It will be carrying containers filled with various products and will pass just south of Naha 2 days later. I will not research it's contents. I live in Tacoma and it takes too much effort.

The Submarine will initially be accompanied by 2 other US Attack Subs - a NAZI Wolf Pack -  and, as soon as they reach their destination ,they are to get out of the area at a High Rate of Speed.
What you will see from the air is a Donut of Bad Weather but the center will be very calm. The US/UK  Press will black out the stories of these missing ships. 

 

The offending submarines are too deep to read their names but they wear funny uniforms similar to the NAZIs in WW2 and the sailors are very clean and well dressed. No slackers in this bunch of All Men.

What you can do in China:

 

1) Tripple coat the Rubber Life Rafts with Rubber and Wax on the bottom and provide NON-MATAL paddles. When the ship begins to "Buzz" ever so slightly, the ship will begin to jar as if it has no rudder.  It will slow as the propeller dissolves,  and then all the crew members begin to get very hot.

2) As the hull begins to peel and then dissolve, get on the life rafts and paddle like mad men to get out of the area.

3) Film everything.

4) Create Pressure Sensitive Depth Charges wrapped in Paper or Plastic using CDX Russian High Explosives set to go off at the depth of the shelf just South East off NAHA. The coating is important and a great coating would be with Altamont Crude Wax from Utah, wrapped in a Parchment Paper.

Although it will take several minutes for the Depth Charges to reach their target and the ship will not be saved - it might just cripple the US Submarine and save the second ship.

Test the Depth Charges as they go down because buoyancy changes the deeper you get and non metallic charges just might not sink deep enough unless weighed down with very heavy plastics.

In the Korean War we found many Metal Free Land Mines. Go back to your old 1955 Mine Manuals and look at these Land Mines - then use a Plastic Pressure Sensitive Detonators.

5) This Frequency Weapon is Unidirectional, so another option is to use a Chinese Submarine that goes to 3,000 feet and can fire a Nuclear torpedo just after the ship begins to dissolve and target the bottom of the shelf. You must a long ways away to use these torpedoes.

3) When Hillary ordered the death of Christopher Stevens for taking HER commission for 400 tons of weapons sold to the Muhujadeen Al Kaleek (MEK) and ordered the death of the Black Dragon (Japanese) Ambassador to the Golden Dragon (China) family this set out a series of events that are about to lead to some very serious consequences for Obama's Handlers.

 

4) Obama's Staff is weak, stupid and pre-occupied with Gay Sex and Drugs in White House. They are ripe for toppling.

5) Russia is getting clobbered by the Rothchilds Russian Central Bank - they refuse GOD's Protection by doing as HE has directed them so the Blood is on their heads.

6) The Russian Navy is about to experience huge poblems. They ware about to have several wiring 'Fires" in their High Tech Ships. They contracted out many wiring harnesses to be made in China and they subcontracted them to be made in Southeast Asia. The wiring sizes were decreased and fuse panels were not installed in critical places to save costs.   The Fix will cost them about $50 Billion Dollars - or about 2.5 Trillion Rubles.

These are the same troubles the Ukrainian Reactors are having - the wiring is too small and no Fuse Breakers or Circuit Breakers in critical places and the New US Rods supplied by Westinghouse (By Orders of the US DOD) are too hot and burn out their wires. Another reactor went off line today --- but it is not in the news.

There are 6 Reactor Shut Downs in the last 60 days in the Ukraine due to US Meddling in Ukrainian Affairs.  Ukraine - have you not had enough Nuclear Reactor Problems?  The US Goal in the Ukraine is "Scorched Earth" - to kill everyone in the Ukraine and make it uninhabitable. 7) The problems with Russian Navy Ships will also now be found on Russian High Tech Jets and Tanks. Your electrical Engineers thought 18 Guage is better than 16 Guage - they have NO practical experience and got confused by the contractors on the phone.  The Sales Reps for these Subcontractors need to be hung and your High Tech folks need a US Electrical Contractor's Course. 8) I had an Audiovox Cell Phone and a worm crawled across the face from inside while I was on the phone with Verizon. There are worms that eat wiring and they come from South East Asia.  If you have your parts made there, they come with these worms and they eat your wiring. This is very bad in High Tech Jets, Ships, Tanks and Nukes - think about it.

One of the worst things you can do to your body is feed it sugar - not necessarily natural sugar like the kind found in fruit, but refined sugar. A team of scientists from the University of California in San Francisco (UCSF) recently pored through more than 8 000 scientific papers on how sugar affects the body and came to the conclusion that it not only makes people fat but also makes them sick.

The project, which has been dubbed SugarScience, exposes sugar as a primary culprit in the formation of metabolic disease, which can lead to conditions like heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Lead author Laura Schmidt, a UCSF School of Medicine professor, says her team's findings are comprehensible -- sugar is highly toxic to the body and vital organs, including the liver.

According to their investigation, nearly three-quarters of all packaged and processed foods contain added sugar. This sugar is typically listed under 61 different names, including things like high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), dextrose, evaporated cane juice and sucrose. It is often difficult to identify added sugar because of this, and current regulatory requirements don't mandate that suggested daily values of both natural and added sugar be identified.

The result is millions of people regularly consuming far more sugar than they should be, leading to metabolic syndrome, a classification of risk factors associated with a host of chronic illnesses. If left to run its course, metabolic syndrome can lead to early death in the form of liver failure, heart attack, blood clots and various other life-threatening conditions.

"Too much sugar causes chronic metabolic disease in both fat and thin people," said pediatric endocrinologist Robert Lustig, a member of the SugarScience team and author of Fat Chance: Beating the Odds Against Sugar, Processed Food, Obesity, and Disease, pointing out that obesity is an entirely separate issue from the extensive bodily damage caused by sugar consumption.

"And instead of focusing on obesity as the problem, we should be focusing on our processed-food supply."

SugarScience project exposes "all calories are equal" myth as scientific fraud

Part of the problem is that many people still don't realize just how much sugar they're actually consuming. According to Medical Xpress, the average American consumes nearly 20 teaspoons, or about 78 grams, of sugar daily, which is far more than the maximum level recommended by the American Heart Association (AHA).
A single 12-ounce can of soda pop contains as much as 9 teaspoons, or 36 grams, of added sugar, which is the AHA's maximum recommended daily level for adult men. Adult women, says the group, should consume no more than 6 teaspoons, or 24 grams, of sugar daily, while children should limit themselves to between 3 and 6 teaspoons, or 12-24 grams, daily.

The best way to consume sugar is naturally, of course, whether it be in fruit, vegetables or unprocessed dairy products. Fruits and vegetables contain dietary fiber and other nutrients that help buffer how quickly sugar is processed, protecting organs like the pancreas from having to work overtime to produce insulin, which can lead to insulin resistance and diabetes.

SugarScience's research also reiterated that not all calories are the same, as is commonly believed in the mainstream.

"SugarScience shows that a calorie is not a calorie but rather that the source of a calorie determines how it's metabolized," explains Lustig.
