The Left is Deeply Disappointed with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
The shine of one of the progressive left’s icons has recently been tarnished. I liked to say that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg may be mellowing with age, but it seems like she has been aged for decades.
However, she did stun a whole lot of nouveau-leftists in her interview with Yahoo’s resident shrew, Katie Couric.
Many younger liberals have come to call Ginsberg "the Notorious RBG," for her stance on abortion and such, but it appears she may have lost the gangsta moniker when the topic turned to something I’m sure Couric and most leftists would consider “safe.”
Katie brought up the Colin Kaepernick National Anthem flap that so many, including me, have been talking and writing about for many weeks. I don’t know what Couric was expecting to hear, but I can guarantee it wasn’t this.
Couric asked Ginsberg: “How do you feel about 49ers player Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players who have basically refused to stand for the National Anthem?”
Her answer more than likely surprised Couric, as Ginsburg responded: “What do I think – I think it’s really dumb of them. Would I arrest them for doing it? No.” She chuckled, adding that, “I think it’s dumb and disrespectful. I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning. If they want to be stupid – if they want to be arrogant, there should be no law that prevents that.”
Unfortunately, in this segment, the camera is pointed only at Ginsburg, so we can’t get Couric’s reaction, which was probably one of confusion and dismay.
Ginsburg added that she thinks flag burning “is a terrible thing to do, but I wouldn’t lock a person up for doing it.” May I ask how many people have been arrested and jailed for kneeling during the Anthem or burning a flag? I’m going to say exactly none. I’m also struggling to recall anyone suggesting such a thing. Possibly – but certainly no reasonable American would do so.
I must say, I have not seen or heard this reasonable side of Ginsburg, and, frankly, her answers gave me pause. I didn’t expect her to say this, and I’m certain the new radical left didn’t. I’m sure they expected her to lionize Kaepernick as the second coming of MLK.
As we’ve witnessed before, the new radical left has no problem eating the older members of the liberal pride for not being radical enough. It’s quite amusing.
Attn.com highlighted some in the Twitter-verse who believe, “Ginsburg is a white woman who may not understand the struggles facing people of color.”
One of the most telling was from Ebony Iris, who tweeted, “Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s comments should not be surprising. Even most ‘progressive’ of white people see the world thru the lens of white privilege.”
And Morgan Jerkins tweets: “Maybe we should stop calling Ruth Bader Ginsburg the Notorious RBG. Am I right or am I right?”
And there it is. The bloom has come off the rose. Ginsburg had a great run, but now it’s time to throw her under the bus – all for daring to have a differing opinion on one single issue. Not very becoming from those who preach diversity and the Big Tent.

Connecticut: Palestinian Muslim Crashes Plane in Attempt to Destroy US Major Military Defense Contractor
The National Transportation Safety Board’s initial investigation of a Tuesday’s aircraft crash in East Hartford, Connecticut should be a serious concern as it was a possible attempt to destroy one major US military defense contractor. As it seems, Muslims are possibly attempting to carry out an attack by using airplanes again.
The investigation by The National Transportation Safety Board also indicates the crash is the result of an intentional act, which means the likelihood this involves an act of terrorism. FBI and police have also raided the pilot’s apartment and are questioning three of the associates of Feras M. Freitekh, the pilot. The Jordanian students were also studying to become pilots. What is strange about this story is the ring of Muslim student pilots and the testimony of the co-pilot stating that the suicide pilot did “an altercation in the cockpit during their training flight, and the instructor was unable to regain control of the plane from the [Muslim] student pilot.”
Freitekh, a Muslim homosexual, who was killed on impact is a 28-year-old Jordanian national from a Palestinian background who was studying to become a pilot died after crashing a small plane Tuesday afternoon in Connecticut, and the instructor pilot who survived the crash said it was intentional. Family and friends of Freitekh are already writing about him on Facebook with oodles of praises from “good man” “hero” to “Allah be with him” in Arabic. Click and check it out for yourself. Rafeek Zabian comments “Our old friend, Feras Freitekh, is with Allah, after he fulfilled his dream to fly, he died as a pilot, yes, and he accomplished his dream, may Allah be with you”. His first cousin Abdullah Faris Freitekh also sends Allah’s praises.
People see him kissing the tip of the propeller and they do not think. The kiss is a kiss for the tip of his missile he is using. He and the Muslims and relatives commenting know why he came to the U.S. The argument with the co-pilot that he “does not want to fly anymore” is an excuse to land early because his intention is likely to swerve at the US defense contractor facility. It would take hours to include all the other praises from folks who would seem normal to the naked eye, yet they harbor ill for the United States.
What is alarming about this crash is that the crash occurred near Pratt & Whitney, a defense contractor that makes jet engines for the military. Pratt & Whitney is a major defense contractor which manufactures military and commercial jet engines. East Hartford Police Chief called the company’s plant “critical infrastructure,” the Hartford Courant reports. Police said the FBI was contacted because of the proximity to Pratt & Whitney.
A high-ranking law enforcement source told the Hartford Courant there was an argument between the student pilot and the instructor prior to the crash. “Terrorism is a criminal act,” East Hartford Police spokesman Lieutenant Joshua Litwin said at a press conference. “There is a lot of criminal investigators on scene. Nothing has been ruled out.”
Feras M. Freitekh is also related to Sally Freitekh, fashion model and candidate for the title of Miss Arab America. These are from a Palestinian origin from Nablus.
The surviving flight instructor, identified by the
Courant as Arian Prevalla, was able to get out of the plane after the
crash and is expected to survive. Freitekh came to the United States
from Jordan in 2012 on a temporary M-1 visa for flight school. The FBI
and local police raided an apartment on Annawan Street as part of the
investigation, WVIT-TV reports. Neighbors told WTIC-TV that four men lived together in the apartment targeted by police. Sources told the Hartford Courant the three other men who lived there were also foreign nationals studying to become pilots.
And don’t be fooled, the pilot, Feras M. Freitekh also has another Facebook as Rafael Majdi Freitekh
and he is gay with all the rainbow flags. He was not a ‘peaceful
Muslim’ and neither was he a ‘peaceful gay’ after all, as society tries
to arm-twist us to believe about Muslims and gays.
When on June 27th, 2015 the supreme court ruled that same-sex couples can marry nationwide, Freitekh was elated and posted the photo above on his Facebook on the same day. He then shortly after stops writing anything on his timeline for a year is perhaps the man decided to go dark becoming a lone-wolf. Freitekh’s two best buddies are also pilots and seem to be homosexuals: Omar Daher and Omar Salameh.

Shoebat.com contributor Andrew Bieszad tells us that his father works at the Hartford Grainer Airport and he has witnessed many Muslims going to that aviation flight school. “They come in, Arabs, with little english, and they pay cash and leave, never to be seen again” says Mr. Bieszad.
The suicidal Freitekh before his intentional crash, writes his other friend Hamad Yousuf Sabboubeh, another student pilot, all the friends use Arabic in English letters, he tells him “first I need to fly more before I get to the Airbus”. Saboubeh then says “by middle of November, our Lord willing” then posts this photo. Mohammed Kloob says that Freitekh was “my brother and my best friend” “may Allah give him heaven”.
We live in strange times, where so many people do not look or seem normal anymore. It is as if there is a mass global possession taking place on a daily basis and within a couple decades, the normals will simply want to hide while the zombies take control of everything. Perhaps I am exaggerating, but perhaps from what we see, this is becoming a reality where the normal is called abnormal and the abnormal becomes the norm while no one dares to say that the emperor has no clothes. It is as the fruits of the spirit are gone and what we have is what the Good Book told us about:

Officials say he is cooperating with the investigation. He runs the Hartford Jet Center, according to his Linkedin profile. The flight school is based at Hartford-Brainard Airport, where the plane took off from on Tuesday.

Today’s chart shows the performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index since the start of the year. This index tracks 30 huge U.S. companies like Wal-Mart (WMT) and Apple (AAPL).
After going more than a year without setting a new high, the Dow broke out to a record high in July. That was good news for U.S. stocks. But, as you can see, the Dow didn’t stay above its 2015 high for long. According to HSBC, that could be a very bad sign.

In a note to clients, Murray Gunn, the head of technical analysis for HSBC, said that he is now on “RED ALERT” for an imminent sell-off in stocks given the price action over the last few weeks.
In late September, Gunn said the stock market’s moves looked eerily similar to just before the 1987 stock market crash. Of note, Citi’s Tom Fitzpatrick also highlighted the market’s similarities to the 1987 crash just a few days ago. On September 30, Gunn said stocks were under an “orange alert” as they looked to him as if they had topped out.
And now, given the 200-point decline for the Dow on Tuesday, Gunn said that the drop is here.
“With the US stock market selling off aggressively on 11 October, we now issue a RED ALERT.”
In other words, the stage is set for another “Black Monday.” As you probably know, that was the darkest day in the history of the U.S. stock market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged an incredible 22.6%.
According to Gunn and his team, the critical level for the Dow is now 17,992. For the S&P 500, it’s 2,116. If stocks dip below those levels, we could see a major selloff.
“As long as those levels remain intact, the bulls still have a slight hope,” said Gunn.
“But should those levels break and the markets close below (which now seems more likely), it would be a clear sign that the bears have taken over and are starting to feast. The possibility of a severe fall in the stock market is now very high.” Watch out.
Most investors aren’t prepared for this. They still own too many stocks. They haven’t set aside enough cash. And they certainly aren’t shorting any stocks.

Earnings season is when companies tell the world if profits grew or shrank during the previous quarter. A good earnings season can lift stocks. A bad one can drag stocks lower.
If you’ve been reading the Dispatch, you know Corporate America hasn’t had a good earnings season in nearly two years. Profits have fallen five straight quarters. That hasn’t happened since the 2008–2009 financial crisis.
Heading into the current earnings season, few investors had high hopes. According to research firm FactSet, analysts expect the S&P 500 to show a 2.1% decline in third-quarter profits. This would be the sixth straight quarter that earnings have fallen.
• Alcoa Inc. (AA) unofficially kicked off the third-quarter earnings season yesterday…
The aluminum giant whiffed on sales and earnings.
The company generated $5.21 billion in sales last quarter, which is about $10 million less than Wall Street expected. Profits came in at $0.32 per share, which was lower than the $0.35 earnings per share (EPS) analysts expected.
Yesterday, Alcoa’s stock plummeted 11.4% on the news. It was the stock’s worst day since 2011.
Many analysts consider Alcoa a bellwether for industrial demand. If its business is struggling, manufacturers, equipment makers, and supply companies should struggle, too.
• Fastenal (FAST) also reported poor quarterly results yesterday…
Fastenal is one of the largest distributors of nuts, bolts, and hand tools in the United States.
Like Alcoa, its business did far worse than analysts expected last quarter. The company’s third-quarter sales came in at $126.9 million last quarter, well short of the $136.5 million analysts projected. The company missed on earnings, too. It earned a profit of $0.44 per share last quarter versus the $0.47 EPS that Wall Street expected.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Fastenal’s business suffered due to a “slowdown in construction, and continuing economic uncertainty.” Fastenal’s stock fell 5.13% yesterday on the news.
• Several other major U.S. industrial companies have also warned of big problems…
On Friday, paint maker PPG Industries (PPG) said it expects to post its first quarterly loss since 2009. PPG Industries reports its third-quarter results next Thursday.
The company’s CEO blamed its ugly quarter on the weak global economy:
We continue to operate in a sluggish economic environment with no clear near-term catalyst for improving global GDP growth.
PPG’s stock plunged 9% on the news. It closed Friday at a seven-month low.
• Manufacturing giant Dover Corp. (DOV) also told investors to prepare for bad results…
On Monday, the company, which makes everything from gas pumps to refrigerators, cut its full-year profit expectations from $3.35–$3.45 to $3.00–$3.05. The company also said it expects to generate $100 million in sales this year, after it previously projected full-year sales of $110 million.
Like the head of PPG, Dover’s CEO says the weak global economy is hurting its business:
We also expect the macro global economy to remain soft, later cycle oil & gas exposed businesses to remain weak, and continued margin pressures in refrigeration & food equipment through the end of the year, as we work to streamline and improve our production systems.
You might not think this is anything to worry about. After all, major industrial firms like Caterpillar (CAT) have been warning about a stalling global economy for years…and all U.S. stocks have done is keep rising.
Why would this time be different?
• The U.S. stock market is becoming more fragile by the day…
To understand why, just look at the chart below. It compares the S&P 500 with the earnings per share (EPS) for companies in the S&P 500. You can see the S&P 500 has kept climbing even though earnings have been falling since 2014.
• Yesterday, the S&P 500 plunged 1.2% on the flood of weak earnings data…
It was one of the worst starts to an earnings season since the bull market in U.S. stocks began seven years ago. Bloomberg Markets reported yesterday:
U.S. stocks staged one of their worst starts to an earnings season since the bull market began.
The S&P 500 Index dropped 1.2 percent to 2,136.73, the fourth-biggest decline recorded since 2009 on the day after Alcoa Inc. reported results…
Time will tell if this is the start of something big or just a routine selloff. We encourage you to prepare either way.
You can start by getting out of expensive stocks. They’ll crash harder than cheap stocks if there’s a major selloff.
You should also avoid companies that will struggle to make money if the global economy runs into serious problems. We suggest you steer clear of retailers, airlines, restaurants, or any other company that depends on a strong U.S. consumer.
• You can also profit from a coming crash by shorting stocks…
Shorting is betting that a stock will fall. If it does, you make money.

The meeting came about after a series of discussions with Josh and Rebecca Tickell. A Project Veritas journalist posed as an ad executive seeking to broker a deal for his client ("Muhammed") to fund an American-made anti-fracking film.
In a phone call to Tickell, the ad executive states: "My client's interest is to end American energy independence; your interest is to end fracking. And you guys understand that?"
Tickell's response: "Correct. Yes, super clear."
Tickell makes it clear on the tape that revealing the source of funding for an activist film can undermine its credibility. Tickell notes that the movie "Promised Land" undermined its own message because it was labeled as being funded by Image Nation Abu Dhabi. His advice: "So rather than putting that [the source of funding] up front, don't mention that."
In a follow-up call with Josh and Rebecca Tickell, Rebecca Tickell assures our investigator: "We would never tell about where the funding is coming from. That would be really awkward for us."
Josh Tickell: "We're confident that we can keep this zip locked, you know tight, air-tight forever. If we don't protect who is kind of funding this thing, if we have to disclose that or that becomes a necessary part of it, the whole enterprise will not work."

CANNES -- In a blockbuster new video, Project Veritas has exposed the truth about the dark funding behind Hollywood's anti-fracking messaging machine.
New York Times Bestselling Author and Project Veritas founder and president James O'Keefe debuted the latest investigation at a "premiere" in Cannes, France on Wednesday.
In the investigation, an undercover journalist from Project Veritas posed as a member of a Middle Eastern oil dynasty and offered $9 million in funding to American filmmakers to fund an anti-fracking movie.
In video from a meeting with Ed Begley Jr., Mariel Hemingway and Josh Tickell, a Project Veritas investigator disguised as "Muhammed" offered $9 million for an anti-fracking film. "Muhammad" clearly states: "If Washington DC continues fracking, America will be energy efficient, and then they won't need my oil anymore."
In the same conversation, Begley and Hemingway accept the funding and agree to hide the source of funds for the anti-fracking movie. Hemingway agreeing that those who will know the source of the funding are "only at this table."
Ed Begley Jr. is an outspoken environmental activist and current Governor on the board of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (the organization that brings us the OSCARS every year.)
Mariel Hemingway is a Golden Globe- and Oscar-nominated actress.
Josh Tickell is a Sundance Film Festival Winner and the director of environmental message movies "Fuel", "The Big Fix" and "PUMP".

Fortunately, a solution to the latter conundrum has been presented, and it’s one that might ease generations of worry in locations where purified water is hard to come by.

is responsible for creating the game-changing device in collaboration
with UC Berkely and the National Peace Corps Association. It didn’t take
long for the IndieGoGo campaign
to raise over $77,000. Apparently, many people are interested in seeing
“orchards” of water collection devices in communities around the world.
In August 2016, the prototype for the Water Seer device was finalized. Once the IndieGoGo campaign closes, the National Peace Corps Association will conduct field tests on the invention. Hopefully, the Water Seer will be utilized as a possible solution for the millions of people who lack regular access to safe drinking water.
If every village had just a few Water Seer devices, enough water could be collected to ensure more than enough for all members. The Water Seer collection device relies on simple condensation to
collect drinkable water from the atmosphere and can provide up to 11
gallons of clean aqua without one external power source each day. Best
of all, it can potentially run forever and does not create greenhouse

To ensure the device works, it’s planted six or more feet into the ground, then soil is packed around its metal neck. Inhabitat relays
that the device holds a vertical wind turbine in which internal fan
blades spin and draw in air into the subterranean chamber. Because the
underground portion of the invention is cooled by the surrounding earth,
water in the air drawn in by the turbine condenses and is collected in a
sort of artificial reservoir. It’s from this well that people can draw
clean, safe drinking water 24/7.
