The head of the National Rifle Association blasted President Obama Wednesday night in an appearance on Lou Dobbs Tonight, calling him a “dictator” and declaring that the President “hates” that American have a right to bear arms.

Wayne LaPierre was responding to Obama’s executive actions to ban ammo for the AR15 rifle, a move many have declared to be gun control via the back door.

President of the National Rifle Association Wayne LaPierre went on “Lou Dobbs Tonight” Wednesday to sound the alarm about President Barack Obama’s executive actions to ban AR-15 5.56 ammo.
LaPierre accused Obama of “act[ing] like a dictator” and hating the Second Amendment.
“This prospect, the ATF ban on AR-15 ammunition, why are we not hearing more of an outcry about this?” asked Dobbs. (RELATED: BATFE To Ban Common AR-15 Ammo)
“Well, probably because the media doesn’t want the American public to know what this president is trying to impose on them,” LaPierre responded. “This is a president, he’s grasping for straws, he hates the Second Amendment, he hates the fact Americans have a constitutional right to own firearms, he can’t win at the ballot box, he can’t win in the Congress, and now he’s trying to act like a dictator and planning on forcing this ammo ban on the American public by executive regulation.”

Asked by Dobbs why there hasn’t been more outcry about the move, LaPierre answered “Well, probably because the media doesn’t want the American public to know what this president is trying to impose on them.”
“He’s grasping for straws, he hates the Second Amendment, he hates the fact Americans have a constitutional right to own firearms,” LaPierre added.
“He can’t win at the ballot box, he can’t win in the Congress, and now he’s trying to act like a dictator and planning on forcing this ammo ban on the American public by executive regulation.” the NRA boss urged.
LaPierre further noted that Obama is going after ammo because of his failed attempts to ban AR 15 rifles.
“He tried to ban ARs, he couldn’t ban the ARs from the American public, the popular sporting rifle,” he continued. “Now [he is] trying to ban AR ammunition.”
The NRA head also warned that if Obama’s executive ban goes ahead, it will set a dangerous precedent for the future.
“The one he’s trying to ban is the 5.56, it’s a small rifle cartridge. The thing is, if he can ban that because it pierces soft body armor… under this standard, he can ban all rifle cartridges, because all of them pierce soft body armor.”
The proposed ammo ban has caused consternation among hundreds of lawmakers who wrote to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) Wednesday, urging it to “abandon” the plan.
“Under no circumstances should ATF adopt a standard that will ban ammunition that is overwhelmingly used by law-abiding Americans for legitimate purposes,” the lawmakers wrote.
Meanwhile, top police representatives have said that there is no real need to implement a 5.56 ammo ban, because it isn’t a threat faced by law enforcement.

The 30-kilowatt fibre laser called 'Athena' burnt through the manifold in seconds, despite being fired by a team from Lockheed Martin positioned more than a mile away.
The security firm said the test signifies the next step to fitting lightweight laser weapons on military aircraft, helicopters, ships and trucks.

The demonstration was the first field testing of Lockheed’s integrated 30-kilowatt, single-mode fibre laser weapon system prototype. 
‘We are investing in every component of the system - from the optics and beam control to the laser itself - to drive size, weight and power efficiencies.

Athena is based on the firm’s Area Defense Anti-Munitions (ADAM) laser weapon system.
In tests off the California coast in May, Adam was used to successfully disable two boats at a range of approximately one mile (1.6km). 
The high-energy laser burnt through multiple compartments of the rubber hull of the military-grade small boats in less than 30 seconds.
Lockheed Martin previously demonstrated the system’s capabilities on airborne targets in flight, including small-calibre rocket targets and an unmanned aerial system target.
The system can precisely track moving targets at a range of more than 3.1 miles (5km). 
‘This test represents the next step to providing lightweight and rugged laser weapon systems for military aircraft, helicopters, ships and trucks.’
By using a technique known as spectral beam combining, the system blends multiple laser modules to create a single, powerful, high-quality beam.
This is said to provide greater ‘efficiency and lethality’ than multiple individual 10-kilowatt lasers used in other systems.
Athena is based on the firm’s Area Defense Anti-Munitions (Adam) laser weapon system.

As Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford recovers in a Santa Monica, California, hospital from injuries he suffered when he crashed the small plane he was piloting into a golf course Friday, amazing audio has emerged revealing the terrifying moment when the 72-year-old Hollywood icon realized that his vintage, World War II-era plane wasn’t going to make it.
But according to aviation experts, the recording also shows Ford as an experienced, cool-headed pilot whose calm, decisive reactions likely saved his own life and maybe the lives of innocent people on the ground as well.
“I would say that this is an absolutely beautifully executed, what we would call a forced or emergency landing, by an unbelievably well-trained pilot,” said Christian Fry of the Santa Monica Airport Association.
The recording opens shortly after Ford has lifted his aircraft off the ground at Santa Monica Airport, when the star — who played a United States President who must save his own plane from hijackers in the 1997 thriller Air Force One — suddenly realizes that his plane is experiencing engine failure.
Pilot Harrison Ford then requests permission to return to the airport for an emergency landing — but his 1942 Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR airplane never makes it back.

At one point in the recording, air traffic controllers can be heard instructing another pilot to circle the airport rather than land, as they wait for Ford to return.
“Harrison was flying a WW2 vintage plane today which had engine trouble upon take off. He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely,” said Ford’s publicist in an email sent to media outlets Thursday. “He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.”
Ford had his plane headed back to the airport when he crashed short of the runway, landing hard on the eighth hole fairway of a nearby golf course.
A doctor, Sanjay Khurana, was nearly finished with his own golf game when he saw the small plane collide with a tree and then watched as it “dropped like a rock,” Khurana told The Associated Press.
When he reached the pilot who was bleeding badly, he saw that it was the movie star Harrison Ford.
“I’m a child of the ’80s,” Khurana said later. “I’m a big fan.”

Question 1: In a few days, it will be 4 years since the protests began in Syria against the government of Bashar al-Assad. From then on it has been a massacre. How do you describe your country today, Mr. President?
President Assad: Let me start by commenting on the number that you mentioned in your introduction, about the number of victims in Syria, which is 200,000, that’s been mentioned in the Western media recently, 220,000.
That number is exaggerated.
Always the West has exaggerated the numbers in Syria.
Actually, it is not about whether they are hundreds of thousands or tens of thousands.
Victims are victims, killing is killing, and terrorism is terrorism.

It’s about families that lost members, lost dear ones, lost relatives.
It’s a human disaster we have in Syria.

It affected his livelihood, food, medicament's, medical care, basic requirements like education.
Hundreds of hospitals were destroyed, thousands of schools were destroyed, tens of thousands or maybe hundreds of thousands of students don’t go to school.
All that will create the fertile habitat and good incubator for terrorism and extremism to grow.
But despite all this hardship, the Syrians are determined to continue fighting terrorism, defending their country, and defying hegemony.
Question 2: Syria is not much of a country nowadays. The Syrian Army does not control all the borders, you have international coalition flying in your skies. On the grounds there are different entities. Is Syria as we have known it lost or finished?
President Assad: You cannot talk about a finished Syria when the people are unified behind their government and their army and fighting terrorism and still have institutions working.
We still have subsidies, we still pay salaries, we pay the salaries even in some areas under the control of the terrorists themselves. We still have the-
Question 3: You send money to…?
President Assad: Exactly, we send salaries. Because they are employees, and have their own salaries. We send vaccines to those areas for the children.
Question 4: So you cooperate with the Islamic State?
President Assad: No, no. We don’t.
We send them, and we deal with the civilians who are the mediators with the terrorists, or the militants.
But at the end, all these basic requirements reach those areas.
So, we don’t have “Syria is finished” and we don’t have a failed state, actually.
But if you want to talk about something different you mentioned in your question, which is the breaching of our airspace illegally by the alliance airplanes and by terrorists supported or working as proxy to regional countries-
Question 5: And borders.
President Assad: This is a failure of the international system, this international system that’s been represented by the United Nations and the Security Council, and that is supposed to solve the problems and protect the sovereignty of different countries and prevent war.
Actually, it has failed in doing so.
So, what we have now is a failed United Nations; failed to protect international citizens including in Syria, Libya, Yemen, and in other countries.
Question 6: But you also failed. The Syrian Army also fails, because a lot of Christians have been abducted recently in the north.

President Assad: Actually, the role of the Syrian Army, like any national army, is to protect every single citizen, regardless of his affiliation, religion, sect, ethnicity, and so on.
If you have mentioned this, I would say yes, we would like to and we wish that the Syrian Army would be able to help every Syrian since the beginning of the crisis.
But the main obstacle why the Syrian army couldn’t do so, and as part of this couldn’t help the Christians a few days ago that have been kidnapped by ISIS, is the unlimited support that’s been offered to those terrorists by the Western and regional countries.
Question 7: What we have seen until now is several attempts to have a peace conference that all have failed. What we have until now, it’s talks about talks. What can break this deadlock, Mr. President?
President Assad: Do you mean in Geneva?
Question 8: Geneva 1, Geneva 2, the Russian initiative was a fiasco.
President Assad: The solution is political, but if you want to sit with someone or a party that doesn’t influence the situation on the ground, it’s going to be talk for the sake of talk, that’s correct.
We didn’t choose the other party in Geneva.
It was chosen by the West, by Turkey, by Saudi Arabia, by Qatar.
It wasn’t a Syrian opposition that we made dialogue with.
You’re right; if you want to make dialogue, you have to make it with Syrian opposition, Syrian partner, Syrian people who represents Syrians in Syria, not who represent other countries.
So, what happened in Geneva wasn’t the model that we have to follow.
Question 9: But, what you are saying, is that an acceptable opposition for you, or…?
President Assad: Of course, any opposition that works for the Syrian, to defend its country, represents Syrians or part of the Syrian population…
Question 10: Within the framework of the Syrian state?
President Assad: No, no. Any opposition who works for the Syrian people. It’s not related to the state, it’s not related to the government.
Question 11: So, you’re excluding the Syrian National Coalition?
President Assad: I don’t exclude anyone as long as he’s Syrian. I’m talking about criteria. Anyone, or any party, who meet with these criteria, we can consider him as opposition.
If the coalition is formed in the West or any other country, it’s not considered Syrian.
It doesn’t represent the Syrian people. The Syrian people won’t accept him.
Question 12: But are you able to discuss with them or not?
President Assad: Actually, what we have followed since the beginning of the crisis, we didn’t leave any stone unturned.
We tried every possible solution in order not to allow anyone to say “if they didn’t do this, that would have happened.”
So, we discussed even with the coalition, although we know in advance that it doesn’t represent Syrians, it represents the countries that formed it.
And second, it doesn’t have any influence on the ground in Syria, even with the militants, even with the terrorists, even with anyone who is involved in the problem within Syria.
Question 13: So you’re saying that the “Free Syrian Army” doesn’t have influence on the ground? That only al-Nusra and Islamic State have influence on the ground?
President Assad: Even Obama said that, he said that the moderate opposition is a fantasy.
Most of the world now knows, what they called moderate opposition, they called it “Free Syrian Army,” they have so many other names, all of them are fantasy.
Actually, who is controlling the terrorism arena in Syria are either ISIS or al-Nusra, mainly, and some other smaller factions.

While riding a bus through a metro area of a major midwestern U.S. city this editor picked up an unusual transmission on the police scanner radio with earpiece (which helps drown out the jabber and engine noise) aboard a bus while rolling outbound from the city area on a major freeway highway. Just as the bus cleared town and headed to the suburbs a somewhat monotone voice could be heard talking about "the policies", and "daughter holds them", etc.. The voice must have definitely been that of a police chief there because a frantic dispatcher was telling her units to get the chief to close his mic! 'Mic' (pronounced mike) is short for microphone and the police chief had inadvertently left his radio microphone on or it had gotten stuck on send and his cell phone conversation was going out over the air!!!!!
That was a once in a lifetime listen and quite revealing. The dispatcher repeatedly called out to him to "close your mic, close your mic!", but to no avail since he was stuck on 'send' and could not receive. The horrified, distraught-sounding dispatcher finally summoned her units to go over and signal him and stop him and get the mic closed. The police chief was unwittingly discussing what may have been very 'sensitive' information which, to the horror of officials, was going out over the common police and fire bands on the scanner radio!
They finally got the chief stopped and fixed the problem, according to following transmissions, but this editor never forgot the mention of "the policies" which were apparently being held or managed by a daughter.
It really does appear that citizens and various officials really do have "owners", just as the late George Carlin warned of when he said, "you have owners....they own you". It does appear the people are 'kept' by bondholders and are unknowingly placed on "policies".
Since the new laws grant authorities, cops(Freemasons), prosecutors, etc., a look into your bank account(s) and financial information many persons and organizations have suffered grand theft. If they can breach your accounts then who the hell do you think took your money out of the bank!?

Russian Lawmaker: Bitcoin is a CIA Conspiracy

The comments, made by MP Andrei Svintsov, came during remarks addressing the ongoing debate in Russia over whether bitcoin and digital currencies should be banned as part of a broader effort to stop capital flight.
Nonetheless, Svintsov’s remarks count as some of the more extreme to emanate from the discussion. Svintsov told Russian broadcast news agency REGNUM:
"All these cryptocurrencies [were] created by US intelligence agencies just to finance terrorism and revolutions.”
Svintsov reportedly went on to explain how cryptocurrencies have started to become a payment method for consumer spending, and cited reports that terrorist organisations are seeking to use the technology for illicit means.
While pointed, the statements do not seem to represent the views on bitcoin from within the federal legislature. For example, the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Financial Markets has stated as recently as August that she opposes criminal penalties for bitcoin use.
Svintsov has also been associated with such movements as one that would find tobacco and alcohol products removed from the windows of retail outlets.
