: Pass the BUTTER

Another hydrogenated fat is Crisco.  Hydrogenation is when hydrogen is added to make it  more "solid".  Hydrogenated fats can cause a Vitamin A deficiency.  This is one reason many teenagers have acne and or need glasses; they eat many foods fried in hydrogenated fats and it causes skin and eye problems because of the lack of Vitamin A.

Subject: Fwd: Pass the BUTTER

Having worked at Unilevers Premier Margarine Factory in the UK for 1 Year as a Management Trainee, and then in Sri Lanka Managing Margarine Manufacture, I can safely admit that what you are about to read is true!!

Pass The Butter ... Please.

This is interesting . .. .

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow colouring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavourings....

DO YOU KNOW the difference between margarine and butter?

Read on to the end...gets very interesting!

Both have the same amount of calories.

Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams, compared to 5 grams for margarine.

Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.

Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few and only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavours of other foods.

Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years.

And now, for Margarine..

Very high in trans fatty acids.

Triples risk of coronary heart disease ..

Increases
LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)

Increases the risk of cancers up to five times.. in response.

Lowers quality of breast milk

Decreases immune response.

Decreases insulin response.

And here's the most disturbing fact...HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING!

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC...and shares 27 ingredients with PAINT

These facts alone were enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

Open a tub of margarine and leave it open in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will notice a couple of things:

* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plastic
. Would you melt your tupperware and spread that on your toast?

Share This With Your Friends.....(If you want to 'butter them up' for better health)!

Chinese Proverb:

When someone shares something of value with you and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others.

Pass the BUTTER PLEASE

Heard another one the other day;  a thin film of butter around the lip of a pan, (i.e.) spaghetti cooking, will keep the pot from boiling over.  A wooden spoon laid over the pot will also do the same.

Obama Either Doesn’t Know Guns Or He lied

Sunday, April 7, 2013
US-POLITICS-OBAMA
Obama seems to be traversing the country making untrue or inane statements about firearms.
First he told Colorado policemen that Michelle had said she might want a gun if she lived on a farm in Iowa. Never mind that Iowans are overwhelmingly hard-working, law-abiding, peaceful, salt of the earth people. And never mind that Barack and Michelle call the gun-free but killing-filled zone, the Windy City home. And never mind that the Obamas have 24/7 fully-armed security detail, so of course neither will ever personally need a own a gun.
Then Wednesday night, at a DCCC fundraiser in San Francisco, the president told the attendees that the Newtown shooter had mowed down those school children with a full-auto weapon. From the WH transcript:
Now, over the next couple of months, we’ve got a couple of issues: gun control. (Applause.) I just came from Denver, where the issue of gun violence is something that has haunted families for way too long, and it is possible for us to create common-sense gun safety measures that respect the traditions of gun ownership in this country and hunters and sportsmen, but also make sure that we don’t have another 20 children in a classroom gunned down by a semiautomatic weapon — by a fully automatic weapon in that case, sadly
Post Continues on theblacksphere.net
Look, if a psychopathic phony corporate (pretend) government wants to kill innocent children and adults they will do it NO MATTER WHAT.....and if we let them take our guns we are toast. We need to ban the phony government.

Original 13th Amendment -- "Package deal" case study

8 April A.D. 2013

The "constitution" is a "package deal." It's not a group of concepts that may be accepted in part. Where those concepts are not accepted, and implemented, collectively, in toto, the "message" is that it's just simply "not there," at all. The "constitution" is one of those classic "all or nothing" matters.

https://www.ixquick.com/do/search?keyword=%22original%2013th%20amendment%22%20%2Bbill

"Partial" application is the confession of our present legal reality that we do not now have, and have never had, a "constitution" as the language that brings the national governmental system into existence. Since the "constitution" is not now and has never been "admissible evidence of law," it not only didn't create the national system but also can't limit the national system, either.

That hardly means that this "federal" system is without limits, for it surely has limits.

It just means that the limits are within the individual's hands to exercise.

Since the system functions commercially, the problem and the solution are both in the hands of each individual.

While the use or non-use of funny money is substantially beyond the control of individuals, the decision to "volunteer" into the various "gotcha agreements," the "choice of law" of which is greatly influenced by the existence (and use) of the "funny money," is 100% within the control of all individuals. It may be that one prefers life on the (commercial) plantation to life without the "gotcha agreements." For those who are able to trust God [YAHUWAH] to provide, life off the (commercial) is certainly survivable.

All that in mind, the recent discussion about the Original 13th Amendment is just one more "perfect" case study that proves that we not only have no "constitution" now but also have never had a "constitution."

The practical question is this: how does original language, allegedly "law of the land," simply get removed from the printed versions?

Answer. It doesn't.

So, what went with the Original 13th Amendment?

It was simply "edited" out.

How can that be?

Because the whole of the language was never "admissible evidence of law" in the first place.

Where only "part" is "as good as" the whole, and where the whole is a "package deal," "all or nothing," it follows that where part is missing, it's not just the part that's missing but rather the whole that's missing.

It's been that way from Day One.

We're not dealing with a "constitutional" system.

We're dealing with a "federal" system.

"Federal" means "federal," as in, "by agreement."

UK Man Wins Historic Court Case Against BBC's Cover-Up of 9/11 Evidence

UK Man Wins Court Victory Over BBC for 9/11 Coverup Broadcast
Tony Rooke refused to pay a TV license fee because the BBC intentionally misrepresented facts about the 9/11 attacks, he alleged. It is widely known that the BBC reported the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 over 20 minutes before it occurred. WTC 7 was a 47-story skyscraper that was not hit by a plane on 9/11 but collapsed at free-fall speed later that day.
So Rooke said the BBC had to have had prior knowledge to a terror attack making them complicit in the attack. He presented the BBC footage to the judge along with a slew of other evidence, and the judge agreed that Rooke had a reasonable case to protest. Rooke was found not guilty and he was not fined for failure to pay the licensing fee.

Below is the broadcast where the BBC announced the collapse of WTC 7 while it was still standing behind the reporter.

Because of this, South Korea's armed forces are on high alert
Rocket and artillery units of the North Korea People's Army have completed a ballistic medium-range missiles such as "Musudan" for launch. This was reported by South Korean media, citing informed sources.
According to press reports, the armed forces of the Republic of Korea are on high alert in anticipation it's launch.
Earlier it was reported that the military command in South Korea and the U.S. have developed a plan of symmetrical response to a possible strike by the provocative North Korea. The plan, in particular, provides that a return blow to the army of North Korea, will be done using the same type of weapon with which the attack was carried out.
A day before it was reported that North Korean military might be preparing to hold the next, the fourth nuclear test. In the last few days the DPRK has deployed two medium-range ballistic missile on its eastern coast.

-- The Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee issued the following statement on Tuesday:
The situation on the Korean Peninsula is inching close to a thermonuclear war due to the evermore undisguised hostile actions of the United States and the south Korean puppet warmongers and their moves for a war against the DPRK.
The prevailing situation is seriously affecting peace and security not only on the peninsula but in the rest of the Asia-Pacific.
The DPRK has already declared strong military counteractions to protect the dignity of the nation and the sovereignty of the country from the increasing threat of the aggressors.
The U.S. and the south Korean puppet warmongers are now watching for a chance to start a war against the DPRK after massively introducing WMDs including nuclear war hardware into south Korea.
Once a war is ignited on the peninsula, it will be an all-out war, ie a merciless sacred retaliatory war to be waged by the DPRK.
It does not want to see foreigners in south Korea fall victim to the war.
The committee informs all foreign institutions and enterprises and foreigners including tourists in Seoul and all other parts of south Korea that they are requested to take measures for shelter and evacuation in advance for their safety.

...The aggressive rhetoric from North Korea has motivated neighboring Japan to deploy Patriot missiles batteries to protect the 36 million people who live in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Two Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) surface-to-air missile launchers have been stationed in the Japanese capital, reinforcing battery units on Okinawa and other Pacific islands, an official said Tuesday.
The weapons were authorized to shoot down any North Korean missile headed towards Japanese territory, Defense Minister Onodera Itsunori said on national television.
On Monday South Korea said that nuclear support from Washington is needed to protect against North Korea's continued aggression and unpredictability, and to keep its neighbor in check. Rep. Obama Overrides Congress to Buy $690 Million Worth of Russian Choppers for Afghan Air Force

Obama Overrides Congress to Buy $690 Million Worth of Russian Choppers for Afghan Air Force
April 8, 2013 By Daniel Greenfield

Apparently America has too many jobs so Obama will be spending taxpayer money to support Russia’s defense industry on behalf of Afghanistan. And he’s doing so over the bipartisan objections of Congress from both the right and left and a ban on buying them written into the NDAA.
The US Department of Defense said Thursday it plans to sidestep a Congressional ban to purchase 30 helicopters from Russian state-owned defense firm Rosoboronexport, despite objections from US lawmakers who allege that the firm has equipped the Syrian government to commit brutal crimes against civilians.
The 2013 National Defense Authorization Act, approved by Congress last year, includes an amendment that prohibits financial contracts between the United States and Rosoboronexport, except when the Secretary of Defense determines that such arrangements are in the interest of national security.
The contract totals $690 million, most of which would go to the Russian arms maker, he added.
Aside from throwing almost $700 million to a company owned by the Russian government at a time when Obama has taken a chainsaw to the United States military, subsidizing the Russian defense industry helps it develop more weapons that will be sold to America’s enemies.
That money will help fund R&D for the next generation of weapons that an American military dismantled by Obama will be facing on the battlefield.
Rosoboronexport was originally under US sanctions for doing business with Iran until the ban was lifted. Rosoboronexport is still selling advanced weapons to Iran.
And, oh yeah, this was a no bid contract.
The Pentagon didn’t solicit bids from any other company for the helicopters. That “seems just plain stupid,” says Texas Senator John Cornyn, one of nine Republican and eight Democratic senators pressing the U.S. Department of Defense to cancel the deal.
John Pike, director of national security think tank GlobalSecurity.org, says Russia sold Mi-17s to other countries during the Cold War, and that companies other than Rosoboronexport should have secondhand models that could be refurbished: “The notion that you can’t come up with a couple dozen of these puppies in the used helicopter market is hard to believe.”
Well why bother when Barack is willing to be so flexible for Vladimir.
A bipartisan Congressional group wrote a letter to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel last week in which they objected to the ongoing business relationship between the Russian arms company and the Pentagon. “What is the national security justification of continuing business with Rosoboronexport?” they asked in the letter. “Russia continues to transfer weapons through Rosoboronexport to the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria,” they continued. “Since the Syrian uprising began, Russia has continued to serve as the Assad regime’s chief supplier of weapons, enabling the mass murder of Syrian citizens at the hands of their own government.”
When you’ve got John Cormyn and Rosa DeLauro on the same side, that’s as close to a consensus that you can imagine.

PALIN, BECK FLIP OUT OVER MSNBC AD

Network blasted for pushing collective ownership of children

Published: 3 hours ago
MSNBC is airing a provocative message for parents: Your kids belong to the community – not to you.
The network released a promo video featuring Melissa Harris-Perry, host of a weekend morning MSNBC show and professor of political science at Tulane University, who says Americans must grow beyond the idea that children belong to their parents.
“We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we’ve always had kind of a private notion of children. Your kid is yours and totally your responsibility,” Harris-Perry said. “We haven’t had a very collective notion of these are our children.
“So part of it is, we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents, or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities. Once it’s everybody’s responsibility and not just the household’s, then we start making better investments.”
At least three leading conservatives immediately blasted the promo.
Talk-show host Rush Limbaugh declared, “The nuclear family has always been under attack by communists, by leftists. The nuclear family – just like religion – must be destroyed, and in its place, ‘the community,’ the collective.
“So, while this is outrageous in its self-contained form, it isn’t anything new. I guess one of the things that is the most frustrating to me is that liberalism and socialism and Marxism and this kind of stuff have been out there on display for people to see and recognize and accept as true for decades.”
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin tweeted: “‘Apparently MSNBC doesn’t think your children belong to you. Unflippingbelievable.”
Meanwhile, Glenn Beck pointed out that the MSNBC network promo is not just some gaffe by a host or panelist.
“This is something that people thought about,” he said. “This is something that everybody worked on. This is something that everybody got together and filmed.”
Beck said he has been predicting that leftists would stop hiding their true intentions, and this is just the beginning.
“I told you there would come a time when they would show you their true colors,” he said.
Beck also argued that many parents might find the message appealing and would welcome turning over the parenting of their difficult-to-manage children to the state.
“I think that there’s a good 20 to 30 percent of America, maybe even higher now, I’m not sure, [that] will gladly have the state take that over so they don’t have to worry about it,” he said.
“Yet another one of your responsibilities taken from you – I’m sorry. Another one of your responsibilities that you will gladly hand over because you don’t know what to do.”
HAS MSNBC COMPLETELY FLIPPED ITS LID BY CLAIMING PARENTS DON'T OWN THEIR CHILDREN?
·       ( ) No, parents don't own their children. They're part of the collective community
·       ( ) No, it does indeed take a village to raise a child
·       ( ) No, MSNBC is really letting the public know its true beliefs
·       ( ) No, this is why I prefer MSNBC for my news
·       ( ) No, this ad slipped by executives in the marketing team and will probably be pulled shortly
·       ( ) No, it was edgy and provocative for the purpose of drawing viewers, not to represent MSNBC's views
·       ( ) No, the lid was flipped long ago
·       ( ) Yes, MSNBC slipped up and told us what it really thinks
·       ( ) Yes, does this go for the children of same-sex couples as well?
·       ( ) Yes, progressives believe your wealth and everything you have belongs to government - and that includes your kids
·       ( ) Yes, and I expect Al Jazeera to purchase MSNBC any day now
·       ( ) Yes, and now you know why they call it 'MSLSD'
·       ( ) Yes, but it isn't surprising that people who believe in abortion on demand also think parents aren't responsible for their children

Gen. Jerry Boykin + Capt. Larry Bailey really got a fire burning on Capitol Hill!!!

Gen. Jerry Boykin & 700 Retired Spec Ops Demand Boehmer Form Select Committee Over Benghazi!

Seven hundred retired Military Special Operations professionals from the organization “Special Operations Speaks” sent a letter to the House of Representatives urging members to support H.Res 36, which will create a House Select Committee to investigate last September’s deadly terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya.
“It appears that many of the facts and details surrounding the terrorist attack which resulted in four American deaths and an undetermined number of American casualties have not yet been ascertained by previous hearings and inquiries,” the letter states. It continues further, “Additional information is now slowly surfacing in the media, which makes a comprehensive bipartisan inquiry an imperative. Many questions have not been answered thus far.” The letter puts forth over twenty unanswered questions the select committee should address.
Congressman Frank Wolf, a sub-committee chairman on the House Appropriations Committee, issued a resolution for a House Select Committee to investigate issues surrounding the Benghazi Attack last November in the 112th Congress. He re-issued his resolution for the select committee when the 113th Congress began. The resolution currently has over 60 co–sponsors.
Only Speaker John Boehner (R–OH) can appoint a Select Committee and Boehner appears to mainly rely on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence to investigate the Benghazi attack. However, any information that may be garnered from that committee will, as always, remain classified.
“As a retired Special Operations officer who spent most of my thirty-six years preparing for and executing rescue missions to save fellow Americans, I am deeply troubled by the events in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. The men and women who I served with lived by an ethos that pledged to never leave a fallen comrade and to make every effort to respond when a fellow American was threatened. I have seen men take great risks to save a fellow warrior. I have even seen men die trying to do so,” wrote General William G. ‘Jerry’ Boykin in a statement to Breitbart News.
Boykin added, “The lack of accountability regarding the Benghazi event disturbs me greatly and bears the earmarks of a cover up. America is entitled to a full accounting of this egregious attack on our people with some explanation as to why there was no effort to save the Americans in the US Embassy annex and the CIA station, or at least to recover their bodies before they fell into Libyan hands. Our Congress has yet to fulfill its responsibility to provide a complete analysis of the attack or to provide answers as to what exactly happened. A bi-partisan Special Committee is needed to determine the truth about Benghazi.”
Last month, Rep. Wolf, along with Reps. Jim Gerlach (R–PA), a House and Ways committee member, sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry demanding to know more information on State Department employees who survived the Benghazi attack. In his letter to Kerry, Wolf noted that sources say that as many as 30 survivors of the Benghazi attack were allegedly wounded. Seven of those thirty were said to be critical injuries. Sec. Kerry confirmed he visited an injured Benghazi survivor at Walter Reed.
Rep. Darrell Issa (R – CA), Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, pointed to Kerry’s admission as a reason why he expects to speak with Benghazi survivors. “Now that Secretary Kerry has publicly, essentially a Senator, in a post way, has chosen to visit with them, any claim that they’re not available at this point to Congress is unsupportable. And I look forward to oversight by all committees,” Issa told Breitbart News.
Since Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R – UT) first told Breitbart News in December that the Obama administration had not been allowing him or any other member of Congress to see Benghazi survivors, more Republican members, including Senators Lindsey Graham (R – S.C.) and John McCain (R – AZ) are calling for survivors to be allowed to testify at hearings on Capitol Hill without fear of legal or career repercussions.
Signers of the letter believe the House Select Committee should look into a number of issues, including the lack of military response to the events in Benghazi, if any non-military assistance was provided during the attack; the number U.S. personnel who were injured in Benghazi; the current locations of survivors; the names of the individuals in the White House Situation Room (WHSR) during the entire 8-hour period of the attacks and was a senior US military officer present.
“As veterans from all aspects of Special Operations, we have no doubt that there’s a lot more to what happened in Benghazi than President Obama and his Administration are letting on. From the very beginning, he has attempted to mislead and outright lied to the American people about why the attack on September 11th, 2012 happened, how it happened, and what our government did or did not do to save the lives of our patriots abroad,” former Navy SEAL Captain Larry Bailey wrote in a statement to Breitbart News.
The representatives from the retired military community want “a full accounting of the events of September 11, 2012,” adding that the, “American public be fully informed regarding this egregious terrorist attack on US diplomatic personnel and facilities. We owe that truth to the American people and the families of the fallen.”

RBA-style council to stop superannuation tinkering: Bill Shorten (Australia's Minister - Financial Services)

Date: April 9, 2013 - 4:08PM
John Garnaut
_________________________________________________________________________

A new Reserve Bank-style council will protect retirement savings from meddling politicians, says the Minister for Financial Services, Bill Shorten.
(And, politicians should be working under the/se same 'rules' as they apply to the general Australian, worker! -- Bob)
The Council of Superannuation Custodians, first flagged on Friday, is intended to stop governments from fiddling with tax concessions to fill budget holes, or otherwise changing the rules without long notice periods.
Independent monetary policy, independent superannuation policy, I don’t think its any different.
The council would act as an independent umpire that would transparently evaluate proposals and publish data on the costs and benefits of existing superannuation concessions and any mooted changes.
“We separated monetary policy form the day-to-day of the government and that was a big breakthrough,” Mr Shorten said in an interview in Beijing, where he is part of a high-profile Australian delegation led by Prime Minister Julia Gillard.
“We separated the setting of the minimum wage which still affects one and a half million people,” he said. “Let's have a mechanism that takes some of the political capital incentive out of the game.
“That’s the path we’re heading down [and] that is genuine reform.”
Treasurer Wayne Swan and Mr Shorten announced the proposed council on Friday and said they would ensure future changes were consistent with an agreed Charter of Superannuation Adequacy and Sustainability.
They said the charter would be guided by principles of certainty, adequacy, fairness and sustainability.
Details will be developed through an intensive consultation process led by a Charter Group, which will be established in coming weeks.
Mr Shorten's comments are the first to add some detail to what was flagged last week.
He said the proposed charter might require three years’ notice for changes to tax treatment or seven years for changes to the preservation age.
“You know people just hate changing goal posts, people hate inconsistency, people hate starting one plan and then doing another because the rules change retrospectively,” he said.
“I’m interested in what superannuation looks like in 2020 for 2040 and what superannuation looks like in 2030 for 2050.
