Jared Marcum returned to school wearing the SAME SHIRT. Moreover, he was joined by 100 other students wearing NRA “Protect Your Rights” shirts that were provided by Sons of the Second Amendment. None of them were suspended or arrested for wearing the shirts.

Jared Marcum learned the importance of standing up for himself, 100 students stepped up to the plate to support the 1st and 2nd Amendment and the bullies at Logan County Schools got an education in the importance of the First and Second Amendment that they apparently needed very badly. Freedom wins, political correctness loses. That’s just how it’s supposed to be.

Message from Montague Keen - April 28, 2013 The desire for peace and the return of love must be uppermost in the hearts and minds of all, as the Great Awakening is expanding and gaining strength. Each and every one of you is important. Your future and the future of your planet depend on whatever steps you take at this time. Your planet is being cleansed of the dark energies that ruled over you: their time is up. There are those who now wish to distance themselves from the Dark Ones. They want to reveal all that was hidden. Many are under siege, prevented from speaking out. The Dark Ones cannot control everyone: only those whose lives are dominated by the television and the so-called newspapers. Foolish people who accept, without question, all that the television presents to them. You must each take responsibility for what you accept as truth. You are not puppets. You have minds, so put them to good use. Say NO to war, and NO to invading other countries. Your fellow human beings need your protection. I have told you in the past that it is all part of THE PLAN to take over. Foolish people believe the excuses put forward by the cabal and thereby assist them to destroy country after country. Surely, you are intelligent enough to be able to see this for yourselves. It is so obvious. When you wake up to this, then the killing will stop and peace will return. People are being controlled today as never before. You have no freedom at all. You have allowed this to happen, since by your silence, you gave consent. Do you really want to sleepwalk into extinction? Find your voice and speak out. Refuse to be mindless puppets any longer. You are powerful beings of light. Allow this light of truth to shine brightly, to act as a beacon to others to come to you for guidance. You will have all the assistance you need. You have only to ask and it will be given. Have faith in yourselves. You can do it. See yourselves as you are, not as you were told you are. Believe you can do it and you will do it. It is all a question of believing in your own power and knowing who you are. Stop believing the propaganda that now (in the light of truth) looks so ridiculous and so obvious. Laugh at the attempts to create fear in your minds and look with clear eyes at what is being put before you. Then and only then, will you be able to remove the shackles that have imprisoned you mentally as well as physically. It is time to take back your freedom. Take control of your own lives and become the spiritual beings that you actually are. Open up to your guides and helpers: they eagerly await your calls for guidance. Your hearts will guide you, so trust only your hearts and souls and your way will become clear. This is such an important time in your lives. You cannot afford to make mistakes. Humanity will come together as one, for this is what it is, and always was, until the take-over happened. The soul-less will have to depart and leave you in peace to recover and establish peace and harmony amongst all the people. Look at what was used to control the lives of man: MONEY. Who invented the monitory system? What did they have in mind? It was certainly not Man's best interests, as it has served only to destroy the lives of men. It will no longer be necessary for Man to be a slave to it. Its purpose was to enslave mankind. Ensure your children grow up free of this enslavement. It is time to challenge all the controls and see them for what they are. Look into the eyes. Take note of body language also, as those who rule, tell you what is obviously NOT TRUE. Soon, they will realize that lying does not work anymore. They will feel so exposed that they shall not be able to function. It is as simple as that. Laugh at the stories they come up with, to pressure you into accepting another war. They do not give you any credit for your intelligence, as they think you are still puppets, obeying your masters. Show that this is not so. Believe in yourselves. Read books on spirituality that give guidance on connecting with your own spirituality. You just need to be pointed in the right direction and you will be fine. Such books will help you to trust your intuition. You will then become who you are. Time, as you know it today, will cease to exist. This will free you up to explore and enjoy the world around you. Aging is also mind controlled: you tend to become what you are expected to become, without thinking about how you can control it yourself. When on Earth, I never saw myself as old. 67 Corvette Uncovered-in Colorado Springs

This brings back great memories. I had the same model in a 1966 Corvette, Nassau Blue in color, 327 V-8 engine, four speed manual transmission. I bought the car from the Chevrolet dealer in Oak Harbor, WA after trading in my Jaguar XK-150 before leaving on deployment in January 1966.

(The Jaguar was very difficult to start when it was raining, and it was frequently raining at Whidbey Island in the winter. Starting the Jaguar in the rain usually required removing the distributor cap and spraying a drying agent onto the distributor contacts. I had a similar problem with the fuel pump, located on the frame under the driver’s seat. I kept a leather mallet handy so I could open the driver’s door, reach under rocker panel, and tap on the fuel pump. That would usually get it going. So much for the Lucas British electrical systems. From a related web site:  “The electrical systems used in British cars in the period 1950 to 1980 have gained some notoriety, most of it unfavorable.” )

My Corvette was waiting for me on my return to NAS Whidbey Island. It was a great car except that the fiberglass body leaked in the rain at the top of the windshield on the left side, right on to the steering wheel. The dealer was never able to stop the leak, although he told me it was fixed every time I took it in. I just learned to live with it. In every other respect, I loved that car.

My Corvette, with the smaller 327 engine, did not have the exhaust pipes on the rocker panels. 1966 was the first model year without the split back window. I still think it is one of the most beautiful cars, and one of the best-handling cars, ever built anywhere. It was truly a dream to drive.

Once when I was at my NAS Olathe, KS near Kansas City for my Navy Reserve drill weekend on a bitterly cold winter day, I found a small black kitten that had been severely injured after climbing up into the radiator of a parked car and getting her face sliced open by the fan blade when the owner returned.

I took the cat in my Corvette to a veterinarian who was also a Navy squadron mate.

He sewed up the cat’s face, and she recovered to be one of the best pets I ever owned. She purred whenever I picked her up, she would jump on my lap whenever I sat down, and she enjoyed riding along with me in my Corvette, with a perfect place for a cat basket in the open area behind the front seats of the Corvette.  

When I re-located from Kansas City back to San Francisco with TWA in 1970, my brother Mike drove the car out for me. As I recall, he had a great trip.

The car was later stolen from the Stanford campus parking lot near the Business School in early 1971 when I was attending as a student.  It was found several days later on blocks in San Francisco, completely stripped and unsalvageable.

NBC News Political Director Chuck Todd says President Obama was making it “clear” at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend how he feels about the rise of Internet news sites like Politico, Buzzfeed and … well, WND.

“He hates it.”

Appearing on “Meet the Press” Sunday morning following Saturday night’s media, politics and celebrity soiree, Todd explained the president’s disdain for independent online news sources was showing during his speech.

“It did seem … I thought his pot shots, joke-wise, and then the serious stuff about the Internet, the rise of the Internet media and social media and all that stuff – he hates it, OK? He hates this part of the media,” Todd said. “He really thinks that the, sort of, the buzzification – this isn’t just about Buzzfeed or Politico and all this stuff – he thinks that sort of coverage of political media has hurt political discourse. He hates it. And I think he was just trying to make that clear last night.”

In fact, Obama took several opportunities during the speech to mock Internet news sites for exploring stories the mainstream media largely joined the president in laughing off – including hard questions about his faith, economic philosophy and agenda.

“Look I get it,” Obama joked. “These days I look in the mirror, and I have to admit I’m not the strapping, young, Muslim socialist that I used to be.”

Obama poked fun at speculation that a White House-released photograph of him skeet-shooting was altered and at the Internet site Buzzfeed, suggesting “buzz feed” used to mean something he did “at 2 a.m.” during his college days.

Obama also took a shot at so-called “birthers,” those who question Obama’s birthplace or eligibility to be president, but whose concerns were routinely dismissed by the mainstream media.

“I’m also hard at work on plans for the Obama library, and some have suggested we put it in my birthplace,” Obama joked, “but I’d rather keep it in the United States.”

Yet Todd explained it wasn’t only the mocking jokes that revealed the president’s disdain for online media, but also the serious tone at the end of Obama’s speech.

“I wonder how many people realized at the end, when he did his, you know, there’s always this part at the end where they get serious for a minute,” Todd said. “And it’s usually the part where presidents say, ‘You know, I think the press has a good job to do, and I understand what they have to do.” He didn’t say that. He wasn’t very complimentary of the press. You know, ‘We all can do better.’”

In fact, after announcing he wanted to “close on a more serious note,” Obama praised traditional newspapers like the Boston Globe in its coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings, then segued into a lecture to the media at large.

“We can do better,” Obama said. “Those of us in public office, those of us in the press, those who produce entertainment for our kids, those with power, those with influence, all of us, including myself, we can strive to value those things that I suspect led most of us to do the work we do in the first place, because we believed in something that was true, and we believed in service and the idea that we can have a lasting, positive impact on the lives of the people around us.”
