Hispanic Restaurant Owners Host ‘White Appreciation Day,’ Could Be Sued For Racial Discrimination

White Appreciation Day once started out as a joke of sorts among white Americans, who felt disenfranchised by the growing number of tribute months and days to other races.

While some would argue that every day is a White Appreciation Day of sorts, two Hispanic gentlemen from Milliken, Colorado, don’t see it that way.
Edgar Antillon and Miguel Jimenez, the new owners of Rubbin Buttz BBQ, have decided that White Appreciation Day should be a real thing, and they’re backing up that belief with a 10 percent discount for all white customers on June 11.
It’s a move that could land the men in hot water, according to Jennifer McPherson of the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
In comments to 9 News, McPherson explained how.
“If someone felt like they were being discriminated against, they could come to the civil rights division and file a complaint in our office, and we would investigate that,” she said.
In other words, by offering a 10 percent discounts to whites only for one day out of the year, the Hispanic restaurant owners could be racially discriminating, even though they claim that is not their intention. Antillon explains.

“We have a whole month for Black History Month. We have a whole month for Hispanic Heritage Month, so we thought the least we could do was offer one day to appreciate white Americans…. We’re all American, whether you came from a different country or you were born here. We’re all Americans.”

That explanation? Not good enough, says Weld County civil rights activist and community organizer Ricardo Romero, calling the White Appreciation Day “a perpetuation of racism.”
“It’s wrong. If you’re going to give a discount, give it to the whole community,” he added.

Support or criticism of the decision depends on what media outlet you’re reading, really. Right-leaning sites like the Washington Times paint the BBQ restaurant owners as heroes for bringing awareness to reverse discrimination while left-leaning sites like Mashable call it “a terrible idea.”
This certainly isn’t the first time something similar to a White Appreciation Day of this sort has made it on to the Inquisitr. In April, there was this story about Jim Boggess, a New Jersey deli owner, who suffered major backlash in March from his “White History Month” sign.
The big difference here, of course, is that Boggess himself is a white man. Not the case with either of the Rubbin Buttz owners.

Tornado Season 2015 Predictions: Tornadoes In Texas, Kansas, And Oklahoma Expected

The 2015 tornado season predictions claim that southern states like Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma may have a decent chance of generating tornadoes based upon the weather analysis. Unfortunately, these tornado predictions are based upon an experimental forecast, and since El Niño has been very weak, it has made it difficult to be certain.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, multiple tornadoes hit Oklahoma City during Wednesday, and reports say that at least 12 people were injured. The Storm Prediction Center has warned that bad weather may come to Tornado Alley and predicts more storms are possible later in this week.
“People just really need to stay weather aware, have a plan and understand that severe storms are possible across portions of the southern Plains almost daily through Saturday,” meteorologist Jonathan Kurtz said.
While that is the short term forecast, the 2015 tornado season predictions attempt to use long-term weather patterns to accurately predict how violent a particular year might be.
“The cool thing is, you can actually forecast what the spring tornado season will be like,” said lead study author John Allen, a severe weather climatologist at Columbia University’s International Research Institute for Climate and Society in Palisades, New York. “It’s been known for quite a while that El Niño and La Niña actually shifts the jet stream over the United States.”
The research team found that El Niño tends to decrease tornado activity over portions of Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas, while La Niña tends to increase the ferocity of the tornado season. Climate Central explained why this ENSO pattern occurs.

“El Niño tends to tamp down on tornadoes because it shifts the jet stream further south over the U.S., which blocks moisture from flowing northward from the Gulf of Mexico. The moisture is one of the key ingredients for fostering the unstable, stormy atmospheric environment on which tornadoes thrive. La Niña acts in the opposite way, pushing the jet stream to the north and letting that moisture penetrate further into the heart of the country.”

Unfortunately, any 2015 tornado season predictions are going to be fairly weak since it has not been sending the strongest signal.
“I don’t think every year ENSO is going to give us the answer,” Allen said. “It’s a weak El Niño, so we wouldn’t expect it to have the greatest signal.”
Regardless, Allen notes that people should not say they do not need to worry anymore. According to Live Science, their 2015 tornado season predictions still call for a 60 percent chance of an average tornado year, a 30 percent chance of a below-normal year, and a 10 percent chance of an above-average number of tornadoes. Even in a relatively quiet year, a late May tornado outbreak could still be deadly.

His Asia policy threatens nuclear war with China. Last Friday, National Security Council senior Asian affairs director Evan Medeiros said John Kerry and Defense Secretary Ashton Carter would meet their Japanese counterparts in New York on Monday.
They’d “announce some historic changes to the way US-Japan alliance operates” ahead of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s Washington visit this week.
On Tuesday, Obama hosted him with an official state dinner. Regional security issues will be discussed during his stay.
A Monday released statement recklessly said Washington intends using nuclear and conventional weapons to defend Japan if necessary.

“Central to (its Asia policy) is the ironclad US commitment to the defense of Japan, through the full range of US military capabilities, including nuclear and conventional,” it said.

Japan has no regional enemies. At the same time, its Shino Abe-led government is its most militant since WW II – in a nation constitutionally opposed to war and militarism.
According to a joint US/Japan statement issued Monday:
Japan’s Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and Defense Minister General Nakatani “welcomed US plans to deploy additional Aegis ships to Yokosuka Naval Base by 2017, as well as the swap-out of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington with the more advanced USS Ronald Reagan later this year.”
On April 6, the Defense Department announced it would locate 60% of America’s fleet to the Pacific/Indian Ocean region – armed with the newest/most state-of-the-art weapons systems.
Washington and Tokyo maintain disputed islands China calls Diaoyu (for Japan Senkaku) “are territories under the administration of Japan and therefore fall within the scope of the commitments under Article 5 of the US-Japan Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security.”
Tokyo claimed possession of the disputed islands since 1895 – Beijing since 1783. America occupied them from 1945 – 1972.
Key is what lies offshore – substantial oil and gas deposits for whichever country controls them.
Geopolitics are in play – part of  Washington’s Asia policy to marginalize, contain, isolate and weaken China.
Increasing Japanese militarism combined with America’s rage for war threatens open conflict in a part of the world hostile to foreign invaders.
Apparently Washington learned nothing from its earlier humiliating Southeast Asia defeat.
Confronting China and/or Russia militarily risk far greater potential consequences – potential humanity destroying nuclear war.
Belligerent US and Japanese foreign and defense ministers are in lockstep saying “they oppose any unilateral action that seeks to undermine Japan’s administration of (the disputed) islands” – code language for potentially provoking China belligerently.
It’s part of Washington’s so-called 'East Asia rebalancing' – challenging China through strengthened military, economic and political ties with Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam.
Strategy includes undermining Chinese regional influence, isolating it from neighbors and giving Washington more dominance over territories and waters not its own.
Russia very much is affected. Will global war follow?


A Final Comment
At the same time, US-dominated NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed plans to more than double the Alliance’s Response Force from 13,000 to 30,000 – plus create a new 5,000-strong quick reaction Spearhead Force “to build more stability,” he said.
He lied claiming “a dramatically changed security environment in Europe.” NATO’s only threats are ones it invents.
Humanity’s only real threat is America’s rage for endless wars – together with rogue partners willing to serve its interests over their own – willing to forego peace and stability for permanent conflicts.
US-dominated NATO and Israel threaten world peace, stability and security.
Restoring what’s lost requires slaying this monster once and for all. Humanity’s survival depends on it.

Does a “culture of rape” exist in the United States? For years, feminists have been speaking of a “rape culture” that exists in this country.  They claim that rape has become “pervasive and normalized due to societal attitudes about gender and sexuality“.  But what they won’t tell you is that the “sexual revolution” that they championed back in the 1960s and 1970s is at the very root of the explosion of sexual violence that we have seen in this nation since that time. 


Once upon a time, you could actually let your kids run over to the local playground and play for hours unattended.  I know, because that is what my parents did with me when I was growing up.  But now you have to watch your children like a hawk because there are hundreds of thousands of sexual predators running around out there. 


Today, the average American spends more than five hours a day watching television, and most of the “programming” that Americans allow to be poured into their minds is hypersexualized.  The filth that spews forth from our television sets teaches us that the value of a woman is in how she looks, that the number one goal in life for men is to “score”, and even our children are taught to “dress sexy”. 


Our hypersexualized culture is constantly fanning the flames of sexual desire while at the same time teaching us to disregard all of the traditional boundaries for sex.  Needless to say, the results have been absolutely disastrous.


Before we get into some of the hard numbers, I want to share with you a couple of horrific stories.  The reason I want to do this is to get us to realize just how pervasive this “rape culture” is and, when the term “rape culture” is used, most of the time people think of women as the victims but actually it is children that are getting hit the hardest by this epidemic of rape.


For example, just consider an absolutely nightmarish incident that recently took place in Los Angeles…

A 36-year-old father in Los Angeles has been arrested and charged over the abduction of a two-year-old girl from a car wash earlier this month, who was sexually abused and then dumped in a restaurant parking lot hours later.

Can you imagine?
The little girl was grabbed from a car wash while nobody was watching.
All it takes is a moment and your child can be gone.
When the little girl was found over two hours later, she appeared to be in a state of shock…

The girl’s disappearance from a self-serve carwash at 14929 Western Ave. about 5 p.m. April 2 launched a massive search that police called an “unprecedented response.”
Nearly 2 1/2 hours later, the toddler was found about 8 miles away in an empty, dark parking lot in Cudahy. She was hospitalized with unspecified injuries, police said at the time.
A woman who found the child said the little girl was naked and kept covering her eyes, appearing to be in shock. When police arrived, the child appeared to be afraid to go with the male officers and clung to the woman, she said.

This is what America has become.
We are a nation where sexual perversion is running rampant and where parents have to watch their children very carefully every single moment of every single day.
Back in the 1950s, America was not like this.
But this is what the radical leftists of the 1960s and 1970s wanted, and so this is what we have turned into.
We have been transformed into a nation where an eight-year-old boy in Colorado can find an unwrapped condom on his school playground…

An eight-year-old boy has been tested for every STD including HIV after he put a used condom in his mouth thinking it was a balloon.
The boy picked up the unwrapped condom in his school playground at Bennett Elementary in Bennett, Colorado last week.
His mother, who was only identified as Alicia to protect her son, said it would be a year before her son had the all-clear from his STD testing.

Feminists said that they didn’t like “traditional values”.
Feminists said that they wanted to take the boundaries off of sex.
Well, now we have hordes of hypersexualized predators roaming around terrorizing everyone.
So what would you do if you caught one of these predators abusing one of your children?
My guess is that you would probably respond the way that this Texas father did…

A Texas father who discovered a man raping his five-year-old daughter and beat him to death with his bare hands will not be charged with homicide under state law.
A Lavaca County grand jury decided not to press charges against the 23-year-old father in the June 9th death of Jesus Mora Flores, 47, who was killed inside a remote shack after he was caught molesting the young girl.
Under Texas state law, deadly force is authorized and indeed, justified in order to stop an aggravated sexual assault and coupled with the fact that the harrowing 911 calls made by the father back claims he even tried to save the pedophile’s life led to the grand jury’s decision.

In the old days, we didn’t need to be so protective of our children.
But today the threats are everywhere, and so it is really hard to blame any parent for being a little overprotective.  These days, a lot of fathers are feeling like the father in the photo below.  This picture was recently posted on Facebook and has gone mega-viral since then…





If you still aren’t convinced that “rape culture” is pervasive in this country, just read the statistics that I have shared below.  There is no way that any rational person can read these numbers and not come to the conclusion that we have a major national crisis on our hands…
#1 18 percent of all women in the United States say that they have been raped at some point in their lives.
#2 More than 50 percent of all rapes take place within one mile of the home.
#3 Teens that are in the 16 to 19-year-old age bracket are 3 1/2 times more likely than the general population “to be the victims of rape, attempted rape or sexual assault.”
#4 67 percent of all sexual assault victims in America are children.
#5 In the United States today, it is estimated that one out of every four girls is sexually abused before they become adults.
#6 60 percent of male sex abuse victims and 80 percent of female sex abuse victims “are abused by someone known to the child or the child’s family.”
#7 20 percent of all child sexual abuse victims are under the age of 8.
#8 According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, there are 747,408 registered sex offenders in the United States.
#9 There are 106,216 registered sex offenders in the state of California alone.
#10 According to researchers, convicted rapists in the United States report that two-thirds of their victims were under 18, and among those cases 58 percent said that their victims were 12 years old or younger.
And remember, the figure in #8 is just for convicted sex offenders.
How many millions more have not been caught yet?
We live in a day and age when most Americans are absolutely obsessed with sex.
It may be hard to believe, but an astounding 30 percent of all Internet traffic now goes to adult websites, and 64 percent of all American men view pornography at least once per month.
In this type of environment, it is hard to find any place where rape culture does not exist.
This includes the U.S. military.
Most people are shocked to learn that there are thousands upon thousands of sexual assaults in the military each year, and the majority of them are male on male…

Defense Secretary Ashton Carter told a group of ROTC cadets on Wednesday that sexual assault is a “particular challenge and a particular disgrace” to the U.S. military.
He noted that last year, far more men (10,400) than women (8,500) “experienced unwanted sexual contact.”

Our society is deeply sick, and it is time that we faced up to that fact.

Masonic Fraternal Police Department 'officers' arrested in LA

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Three people, including one who works for California Attorney General Kamala Harris, were charged after claiming to operate a police department with jurisdiction in 33 states and Mexico and that traces its roots back 3,000 years, authorities said Wednesday.

Brandon Kiel, David Henry and Tonette Hayes were taken into custody last week on suspicion of impersonating officers as members of the Masonic Fraternal Police Department, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said.

Detectives believe other people may be involved in the operation, sheriff's spokeswoman Nicole Nishida said.

Deputies found ID cards, uniforms and law enforcement-like vehicles along with other official police equipment during their search of a home and office linked to the group, she said.

However, Nishida said there were no indications the group was stopping the public or conducting other law enforcement activities.

State records show Hayes is licensed as a security guard and has a firearm permit. She previously owned Masonic Security Service, and she and Henry run the Beverly Hills-based MIB Investigative Agency, though its state license is suspended.

Henry is a licensed security guard and also has a firearm permit.

Kiel, 31, worked as deputy director of community affairs at the California Department of Justice since July 2013. He has been on paid administrative leave from his $67,416-a-year civil service job since Thursday. The Los Angeles Times first reported that Kiel worked for Harris.


Department spokesman David Beltran said the agency can't comment on an ongoing personnel matter or criminal investigation. He said Kiel "worked with members of the public basically on issues and questions regarding the work of the department."


Kiel, Henry, 46, and Hayes, 59, were arrested April 30 and released later that day, according to jail records. Telephone calls and text messages seeking comment were not immediately returned.


All three were charged on April 28 with multiple counts of impersonating an officer and other misdemeanors, said Ricardo Santiago, a spokesman for the district attorney's office.

Henry has been charged with committing perjury under oath for declaring the Masonic Fraternal Police Department is a state agency. Kiel is charged with misusing his government identification.


Hayes is a pastor and moderated a debate between sheriff's candidates in the most recent election, Nishida said. ('Hayes is a pastor"??? Yet he is working with the Illuminati/Masonic 'police department'??!!)


Henry won an Emmy in 2002 for his work as a producer on a Fox11 story, according to Variety.com. He also co-produced a documentary with Hayes several years later about a longtime civil rights leader, the Los Angeles Sentinel newspaper reported in 2007.


The investigation started after various police chiefs in California received a letter in late January that announced new leadership for the Masonic Fraternal Police Department.


The Jan. 20 letter obtained by The Associated Press was copied to Harris. It was written by Kiel, identified as its chief board of director, and Hayes, the grand chief director, and includes a badge emblem with Henry's name below.

In the letter, the group claims it is registered with the state and is informing the chief it will be working with "Grandmasters, as well as fraternities and sororities throughout Sovereign Jurisdictions around the country."


The letter claims there are 5,686 lodges and that the department "will be able to acquire intel that is not accessible to non-fraternal entities." It said one aim of the department was to restore public trust.


A website for the Masonic police force says the group was created by the Knights Templar in 1100 B.C.


A man claiming to be Kiel and describing himself as chief deputy director of the police force later followed up with various law enforcement agencies to schedule sit-down meetings, officials said.


Capt. Roosevelt Johnson of the sheriff's department's Santa Clarita Valley station said he met with members of the Masonic Fraternal Police Department on Feb. 4.


Henry and Hayes showed up in black jumpsuits with Masonic Fraternal Police patches and stars on their collars. Hayes had a handgun on her utility belt, Johnson said.


Kiel was there, too, wearing a dark navy business suit. They told Johnson they were opening a new Canyon Country police station.

Johnson said he grew wary when they couldn't answer questions about where they derived their authority, or jurisdictional issues.

"Brandon Kiel gave me a business card from the Department of Justice showing he worked out of Kamala Harris' office," Johnson said. "That really raised red flags for me."

An off-grid homeschool family of 12 in rural Kentucky was raided, the mother arrested, and the 10 children seized simply because the government disagrees with their lifestyle and their educational choices, family members and friends say.
Until Wednesday, Joe and Nicole Naugler lived with their 10 kids in a cabin on 26 acres in Breckinridge County, about an hour southwest of Louisville.
“They are an extremely happy family,” family friend Pace Ellsworth told Off The Grid News.

Acting on an anonymous tip about the family’s off-grid lifestyle, sheriff’s officers entered the property and home Wednesday, and even blocked the access road to the family property, the family says. Joe and eight of the children were away, but Nicole – who is five-months pregnant – was home with the two oldest kids. Sheriff deputies then seemingly allowed Nicole and the two children to drive away but they got only a short distance before deputies pulled them over and took the two children away from the mom, who was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. (She says the arrest took place after she did not passively allow deputies to take the children.) Nicole was able to contact her husband and have a brief conversation.

Later, the sheriff ordered Joe to turn over the other children by 10 a.m. or be arrested for felony charges, the family says. He complied.
Deputies also threatened to impound the car, although a friend of the family convinced the deputies to allow Joe to have it back.

The family may be off grid, but they aren’t anonymous. In fact, they have Internet, as well as a Facebook page dating back to 2012 where they frequently post pictures and videos of their children, animals and their off-grid life. A May 5 post showed a video of a toddler, Mosiah, learning to walk. An April 24 post showed a happy family, gathering around a campfire, roasting marshmallows.
They also post pictures alluding to their faith. Their Facebook page — which has nearly 2,000 likes — is called “My Blessed Little Homestead.”
Child Protective Services never visited the home, said Ellsworth, who believes the arrests took place because of the parents’ choice of “unschooling” for their children, and because of their simple way of life that some would call backwards. The family’s Facebook page calls it a “back to basics life.” They have a garden and raise animals. Deputies apparently were concerned about whether the children’s needs were being met, but friends say they personally have no concerns — and that the children are blessed to have Joe and Nicole as their parents.
In unschooling, there is no set curriculum and the education is based on each child’s strength.
“You let your kids decide the curriculum,” Ellsworth told Off The Grid News. “In unschooling, education doesn’t take a backseat. It’s listening to what they’re interested in and fascinated in.”

“This is the natural way to live,” he said. “It’s actually a growing movement. They want to have a personal education and not a factory education.”
Ellsworth called it “whole-life homeschooling.”
“They are completely open about their life,” he said. “Everyone is learning by living. They are all extremely intelligent.”
