Message from SaLuSa by Mike Quinsey - May 18, 2012 We know that some of you wonder why it seems to have taken so long to get events started. Firstly we must tell you that the activities we are involved in are ongoing, and we have been fully occupied even if you are not aware of what we have carried out. Preparing for these end times is no mean task, and of course circumstances change which we have to adapt to. Plus the dark Ones have been more difficult to remove than we anticipated. However, now that we have been given the authority to take direct action against them, our presence is being felt and our results rewarding. We have all but stopped the dark Ones in their tracks, and we will not allow them any scope to return to their previous tricks. We must lastly commend you for handling your side of the activities in a most positive manner, so much so that you have carried the battle to the dark Ones very successfully. It has enabled us to give you more responsibility, as we do encourage you to take matters forward yourselves. This is because you have to take responsibility for the situations you have allowed to occur. It does not mean you have to do it all, and that is far from it as we of the Galactic Federation have a most important role to play. We are here to ensure you safely reach Ascension, and introduce you to your Space Family and the many advantages that have been kept from you. You now know that everything is coming to a head, and that something is going to break very shortly that you will get to know about in some detail. By now you will have realized that for many reasons, we have been unable to give you much in the way of specific information where dates are concerned. Sometimes even we are not sure when to act, as when we do circumstances must be exactly right for us to be successful. Not least of all, to co-ordinate anything with our allies requires a lot of planning, and we have to bear in mind the risks they take. For example you now have a number of whistleblowers that are prepared to stand up and reveal the truth to you. Naturally we will protect them, but they and their families are under threat and it is an unpleasant feeling. Dear Ones, the clean up is well under way and it will continue until the main trouble makers are removed. There is so much at stake to take risks, and we clearly have to mount a determined and continuous onslaught to finish the job quickly. To put people at ease there will be announcements to acquaint them with what is happening, as we do not want the wrong interpretation put on our actions. It will be the start of a program of enlightenment that will carry you all the way to Ascension. There will be breakdowns all around as the old reality breaks up, shedding itself of all that has no place in your future. It will be a difficult time, but we are involved and the changes themselves will not take as long as you might imagine. So be patient and understand that the outcome will be to your advantage. Ascension is a process that comes to all souls eventually, many times if necessary. The fact is that you will not want to remain in the lower dimensions forever. It has its attractions, but once you have conquered it and overcome the low vibration you will want to move on. Regardless of whether you have it now or not, you have an inner drive that is always urging you onwards. The dark powers would prefer that you do not become aware of it, and go to great pains to keep you in the dark. However, many are coming into the Light, and because of them others are also awakening and so it gathers pace. You help each other and once it is accepted that you are All One, and you remove religious differences and beliefs that are not aligned to the truth, you will blossom and find your true path. Things are always changing and so are you all of the time, and you are subject to many energies that surround you. Most are natural but others are man-made and not necessarily beneficial to you. In fact some are dangerous to your health, yet you continue to allow yourselves to be exposed to them. It is not always your fault, but you tend to ignore warnings when the source such as cell phones is involved. Your greatest threat as you well know is nuclear radiation, but in the future such sources of energy will be clean and safe. Free energy is all around you and will be used to service all of your needs. Many such devices already exist but like much that has been kept from you, has not been released and instead deliberately hidden. The dream is coming true and you will be lifted out of the daily challenges to survive, into a heavenly abode. It is a gift from God but one you have earned through your determination to overcome duality. You chose your experiences and have evolved as a result, and will rightly join us in the higher dimensions. We eagerly await your coming and shall first meet you on Earth, and light the way to the next phase of your experiences. From thereon it will be a pleasure to be alive and exciting to plan your own adventures, that will take you around the Galaxy to observe and take part in the many wonders that exist. Take each day as it comes and do not be fearful of anything. As we so often tell you, all is progressing well, and we and your Inner Earth brethren are so close to openly meeting you. It must however be safe for such meetings, as you will no doubt understand. We have all come a long way to make this finale a most wonderful experience for you, and you will enjoy the days soon to come. Once you are released from the dark Ones, the relief will lift you up immediately. The feeling around you will bring out much happiness, and great expectations for the future which will be fully explained before you ascend. The 2012S Interview: Cobra – Part 1/2

While we often know the name, face, gender and other more personal details about many of those we post here and who you regularly enjoy reading – or at least who their earthly channel is – one of this year’s newest and intriguing “informants” remains a total enigma.

Since launching the blog Portal 2012 – which is subtitled The Intelligence Hub for the Victory of Light in 2012 – on March 31 this year, the person who identifies his or her self only as Cobra has made quite an impact.

Mostly, this has been due to Portal 2012’s intriguing content mix – which incorporates an unusual blend of informational postings for readers like you and I, as well secret codes, under titles such as Pandora and Phoenix, which Cobra maintains are designed for those who work with an organisation called the Resistance Movement, led by a man he only refers to as “Michael”.

But it has also been because, if you are like me, we’re hungry for information that will take us to, help us understand, or give us some timing for the next exciting phase of this incredible year we now find ourselves in.

Yet, apart from Cobra’s own blog postings What is Cobra? and Who Is Cobra? from the Portal 2012 blog post from April 8, 2012 and one titled Resistance Movement from April 6, 2012, which gives an explanation of the movement Cobra is associated with as their messenger (both of which, I have linked at the end of this article so you can read if you have not already done so), nothing else is publicly known or available that I know of.

For me personally, my curiosity – and quite possibly also my suspicion – is always aroused by anyone who wishes to remain completely anonymous. Sometimes it’s for a very good reason: I understand that if you’re carrying out undercover work you need to remain undercover. But having worked in journalism, marketing and PR all my working life, I’m also acutely aware that creating an air of complete mystery around someone or something can also be a wonderful method of attracting greater interest.

That said, I decided I still wanted to try and find out more about who Cobra is, what his or her motivation is and where he or she gets his or her information. Especially in light of recent postings Cobra made on the Archons, which included information – or personal musings – which differed somewhat from a wealth of previously-available information and terminology.

So, over the past week or so I’ve been in email-only contact with Cobra trying to find out more. We agreed that I could pose a series of introductory questions that would be answered, where possible, by Cobra. They were.

I have not edited any of Cobra’s responses. I’ve simply re-organised my questions and Cobra’s answers into a more cohesive flow, as our communications eventually took place by email over several different days.

Today Cobra reveals:

• He or she has assisted in negotiating the surrender of some top members of the cabal.

• His or her identity must be protected at this time due to having been threatened, physically attacked and interrogated and because people dear to Cobra have been severely tortured physically.

• Blogposts on Portal 2012 are the result of “direct (not channelled) intel from the Pleiadians, direct intel from the Resistance and from information agents” inside what he calls the “occult economy” and “alphabet agencies”.

Before you read on, I ask that, as with anything that we cannot verify, you use your own discernment. In a reading I had this week, Archangel Michael was very clear to me that it’s important to be “very discerning” with regards to the information Cobra shares in this interview and on the Portal 2012 blog.

Cobra has also stated in today’s Part 1: “I do my best to give you intel from credible sources. However, you need to check my intel (and any other intel as well) with a combination of your intuition and rational mind. This combination is key (as to) how to discern disinfo”.

Finally, for the record, I still don’t know who Cobra is, his or her gender, his or her nationality, where he or she lives, is located, or anything like that. I only know what Cobra has told me in the answers provided to my questions below.

Stephen: Cobra, you came onto the scene on the last day of March 2012 with your blog Portal 2012. What were you doing prior to this and what prompted you to open your blog?

Cobra: I was basically living my life on planet Earth as any other human being does, and at the same time fighting for liberation of this planet by being involved in Special Operations. I was instructed by the Resistance in late March to open my blog to inform the general public about the coming changes.

Why that particular day, March 31, 2012, to launch your blog? Was there a significant reason?

C: It was a few days before 4-4 portal and consciousness level on the planet was getting ready to receive intel I was about to offer.

In your very first post you said, and I quote here: “We are living in extraordinary times. This is the shift of the ages. The financial system will restructure itself, the matrix will fall apart and new society will be born. Our reality is about to shift and changes will affect everybody. This world is about to enter a totally new dimension, a new reality, an end of linear time. Are you ready? This tour is not just an introduction to preparedness… It is the ultimate preparation for this extraordinary time. It contains information and guidance about time around 2012 and the planetary dimensional shift, never before revealed on this planet.” What did you mean by ‘tour’? And how is your blog preparing us for this ‘tour’?

C: Tour is a metaphor for our journey from third into higher dimensions. Information is power. And I give that to people.

You have said that Cobra is the abbreviation of ‘Compression Breakthrough’, and you have explained on your blog (see link below, What is Cobra?) what this is. But why did you choose that name? As you would agree, it has a slight fear element – being both a dangerous and venomous snake; a strong Illuminati symbol if ever there was one…

C: Cobra is also a symbol for kundalini, the force of enlightenment, the force of liberation and freedom. And yes, that IS dangerous to the Illuminati. It represents a slight fear element to them and they have every reason to be afraid…

Why is it necessary to keep your own identity secret?

C: Because of my mission, I have been threatened, physically attacked and interrogated. People dear to me have been severely tortured physically. I think this is reason good enough to keep my identity secret. I will reveal who I am after the Cabal is removed. I will reveal zero details about me prior to that, period.

Are you able to tell me what nationality and/or age you are?

C: No.

You have also said that what’s important is the message not the messenger, but people still need to believe the messenger? They also like real names and surnames. Plus, we have no known history of, or with you, other than these past few weeks. So what credentials do you offer that give people some certainty that what you are a credible source and what you are saying is credible?

C: For most people this war for liberty is like a video game or a good sci-fi novel they read about on the internet. For those directly involved behind the scenes, it is very real and can be dangerous. So I will not offer any credentials. I will present intel and people will have to make their own opinion about it.

Also, asking for credentials is a trap of the mind. Many high ranking Illuminati have brilliant credentials in academia and corporate world and look what have they done to the planet.

So, why have you been chosen as the messenger?

C: First, I am a good personal friend of Michael and some other senior top level people inside the Resistance. Second, I am an expert in information war and am well suited to help with my expertise in this field to assist the final victory of the Light.

But you have said you only met “Michael” once in 1977?

C: My further involvement with Michael is classified information.

And what do you mean by ‘information war’?

C: Information war is the war between forces of light and forces of darkness in the area of intelligence /counterintelligence.

How do we know you are not disinfo? Some of what you have written about has not always lined up what others may have read previously, or think they know. Where do you get such big-picture details?

C: I do my best to give you intel from credible sources. However, you need to check my intel (and any other intel as well) with a combination of your intuition and rational mind. This combination is key (as to) how to discern disinfo. With practice you can get fairly accurate.

My sources are: direct intel from the Pleiadians, direct intel from the Resistance and my information agents with connections deep inside the occult economy and alphabet agencies.

Tell me about the name Portal 2012, why you chose it and what does it signify to you?

C: The Portal was the name of Michael’s Resistance Movement intranet website once. I chose a similar name in his honour.

Why does your blog also carry secret code? I mean, that’s a bit obvious to the dark, isn’t it?

C: It is a practical way of communicating to many Resistance operatives at once. They can get updates simply by checking my blog. Sensitive intel is of course transmitted by other means.

Dark agents will never be able to crack that code and even if they would, it would not help them much. Actually, it would make them even more afraid, because it contains intel about their own downfall.

But you also appeal to the wider public as well. So it’s a strange tightrope to be walking, serving two audienceone with very public messages; the other having a top secret purpose. Kind of an unusual mix in the one blog, don’t you think?

C: It is time for the general public to become aware of the Resistance Movement.

What can you reveal of your current or previous roles in life, be they career or otherwise, that will assist people in deciding to take your word as a credible source?

C: Nothing.

You have stated clearly that you are not a military person, so what do you do/what legitimacy do you offer to a resistance movement?

C: I am cooperating with them for years and they have vetted me thoroughly as I have excelled in some Special Operations. I have for example assisted in negotiating the surrender of some top members of the Cabal.

You have said the Resistance Movement lives in subterranean dwellings in the upper part of the earth’s crust in Himalaya, near Kongka-La in eastern Ladakh, and under Bora Bora Island and that they have constant physical contact with the Pleiadian bases in both locations. Can you tell me more?

C: The locations you just stated are for Pleiadian subterranean bases. The Resistance has its main bases underneath some larger metropolitan cities.

You have talked about “Michael” and the beginnings of the Resistance Movement in 1977. You wrote as if you were there? Were you?

C: Yes, I met Michael once in 1977 in a subterranean base below New York.

And yet you have said above that he is “a good friend”?

C: Unfortunately I cannot explain this further.

Is Michael still leading the resistance?

C: Yes.

If so, then you have been working with him and this Resistance Movement for over 35 years, is that correct? If not how long have you been involved? And how did you first become involved?

C: I am not working for them. We work together.

After that initial contact, I was not involved for many years. I am more actively involved in the last two decades. My active involvement started as Resistance offered me protection when members of the Cabal attacked me after I released some sensitive intel about them to the general public.

What work did you originally undertake with/for the Resistance Movement?

C: I cannot answer this question.

What is your role today beyond being their official contact? Are you a resistance fighter or simply their main communications medium?

C: I am not and never was involved in physical combat so technically I can not be called Resistance fighter. I am more involved in intelligence, counterintelligence, Cabal surrender negotiation and other Special Operations.

What is your communications area background? Were you involved in telecommunications? Media and PR? A journalist?

C: I cannot answer this question.

Are you also an agent or communicator within some current nation’s military force or government?

C: I am not involved in any national military or government forces, although some of my information agents have contact with that on a top senior level.

However, in my opinion, mankind is in the midst of discovering a falsehood that has been hidden from him for almost 100 years. I believe this will prove to be a positive for us, the American people. In the long run, I believe a new monetary system can and will be designed to empower us vs. enslave us. The era of Central Banking is ending as we know it. Most countries have a Central Bank that is either owned by their government or has been appointed by their government to stabilize the country’s monetary system. How can one bank stabilize a nation’s entire monetary system? The answer is simple. Central Banks can create an infinite amount of money from thin air and inject it into the monetary system. Therefore, if there is a crisis, in an instant, a nation’s Central Bank can simply create money to provide liquidity to pay for the crisis. One of many problems with this system is that evil and greedy people will tend to be attracted to controlling Central Banks for their own personal gain forming an oligarchy of power. For the past several years Congressman Ron Paul has championed a bill to Audit the Federal Reserve. The bill failed to become law, but it did heighten Congressional awareness of the secretiveness around the Federal Reserve. As a result, a one time audit of the Federal Reserve was conducted thus far. A quote from U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders July 21st, 2011: “The first top-to-bottom audit of the Federal Reserve uncovered eye-popping new details about how the U.S. provided a whopping $16 trillion in secret loans to bail out American and foreign banks and businesses during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. An amendment by Sen. Bernie Sanders to the Wall Street reform law passed one year ago this week directed the Government Accountability Office to conduct the study. As a result of this audit, we now know that the Federal Reserve provided more than $16 trillion in total financial assistance to some of the largest financial institutions and corporations in the United States and throughout the world,” said Sanders. The United States Federal Reserve is a private bank and not owned by the US Government. The members of this bank are a consortium of private banks and the membership list is not public information. We toiling Americans are squabbling with each other over our nation’s debt and political ideology while these Central Bankers and their friends devalue and dilute “our” currency. The squabble over the national debt between Democrats and Republicans is nothing more than a giant distraction to an extraordinary robbery. This is exactly what the bankers want; the bigger the distraction of partisanship, the better it is for them. It seems ironic or even idiotic that the American people are having such a rigorous debate over approximately 15 trillion dollars of national debt when the few members of the Federal Reserve printed 16 trillion dollars behind our backs since 2009 and lent it to themselves and their friends to save their failing businesses. We Americans would be better off having the Key Stone Cops protect our money. If people aren’t reading specific periodicals, this event would go on unknown to most Americans as no major mainstream media news channel has covered it. Why after almost 100 years of this system is the Economic Crisis Happening now? Answer:The system is so weighted down with debt that, in desperation, Nations are turning to their Central Banks for help, in other words, they want their Central Bankers to print money from thin air to pay their debts and even allow them, the Governments, to keep deficit spending. This kind of public abuse of the Central Banking system lowers consumer confidence in the value of the paper currency. Simply said, people will stop trusting the value of paper money. The average investor is starting to discover that “gold” is real money, and the fiat currencies cannot be trusted any longer. This trend can be seen in gold prices. In recent months, gold prices have been soaring. The price of gold is a barometer of investor confidence in paper money and paper assets such as stocks and bonds. The lower the confidence investors have in paper money, the higher the price of gold can go. Personally, I believe this trend is in its infancy stages and as nations prove that they cannot make their debt go away, they will try and force their Central Banks to print money to try and save their economies. As the economies fail to heal, gold prices are likely to be driven higher. You see, there is something instinctive within people who relate to gold as real money. It has been the case since the beginning of mankind and it still is the case today. Investors are voting with their money in the free markets, and they are casting their votes for “gold” as real money. The Peolpe Have Decided, Gold is Real Money! The Central Bankers and their wealthy elite friends are desperately trying to hold onto their power and they will go to great lengths to stymie the price of gold. Therefore, as gold rises in price, watch for the cash requirement of gold to increase repeatedly. CME Group Inc. raised the margin requirements on gold trading at its Comex unit twice in August, 2011. The last increase rose the minimum cash deposit for borrowing from brokers to trade gold futures by 27 percent to $9,450 per 100-ounce contract in the speculative Tier 1 category. As the cash requirement for gold increases on the gold exchanges, the less gold traders can leverage their position on margin. This creates artificial margin calls. These events will create temporary setbacks in the price of gold, but over the long term I believe the cheap tricks of the Central Bankers will give way to higher prices driven by higher demand. How will this Economic Crisis play out? I believe that the zombie banking businesses that have been artificially propped up by Central Banking will continue to suffer and drain the economy. The general economy and the personal financial affairs of people whom are not savvy to the Economic Crisis will greatly suffer economically. Eventually, the suffering of the masses will drive people to a heightened sense of awareness. Then it will be possible for nations to vote into office elected officials that will vote into law a monetary system that replaces Central Banking as we know it today. Prices of assets may then finish falling to meet natural demand. Interest rates may adjust and be determined by the free markets. Free markets will prevail and entrepreneurs may build new businesses and hire people to help fulfill their business plans. Corporations may invest in new businesses and create new technology; hence a new economic boom may arise. My prospective of America’s future in the long term sounds good, but how will you transition your wealth from the old economy to the new one? Will you ignore my warning and go on listening to the deliberate misleading information on TV or will you think for yourself and build your own life boat. I'll add one of my own: Only in America can you illegally and unlawfully enter the country and be given free medicaid, food stamps, free housing (in some cases) free education for your children plus free breakfast and free lunch while at school; special educatonal programs designed to compensate for disadvantages for illegals, plus automatic citizenship for the children born here of illegals! Wow!  In any other country you would be thrown in prison or executed for unlawfully entering.

7) Only in America could you need to present a driver's license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

8) Only in America could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

9) Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a trillion dollars more than it has per year for total spending of $7 million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn't have nearly enough money.

10) Only in America could the “rich” people who pay 86% of all income taxes be accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all.

. Bombshell: Obama “Born in Kenya” Who is Barack Obama? The question remains contentious, but a new smoking gun piece of evidence makes certain that so-called “birthers” won’t be going anywhere. It has now emerged that Barack Obama’s own authorized biography while president of the Harvard Law Review says he was “born in Kenya” and raised in both Indonesia and Hawaii. This is prima facie evidence that the public has been sold on a big lie. It further only reinforces the mountains of related evidence that has surfaced, not the least of which is Michele Obama’s own public statements about their returning to Barack’s “homeland” in Africa to conduct a public AIDS test stunt. Wow! Breitbart.com broke the story as part of their “vetting” series that has coincided with the untimely death of Andrew Breitbart himself.

Andrew Breitbart was never a "Birther," and Breitbart News is a site that has never advocated the narrative of "Birtherism." In fact, Andrew believed, as we do, that President Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 4, 1961.

Yet Andrew also believed that the complicit mainstream media had refused to examine President Obama's ideological past, or the carefully crafted persona he and his advisers had constructed for him.

It is for that reason that we launched "The Vetting," an ongoing series in which we explore the ideological background of President Obama (and other presidential candidates)--not to re-litigate 2008, but because ideas and actions have consequences.

It is also in that spirit that we discovered, and now present, the booklet described below--one that includes a marketing pitch for a forthcoming book by a then-young, otherwise unknown former president of the Harvard Law Review. 

It is evidence--not of the President's foreign origin, but that Barack Obama's public persona has perhaps been presented differently at different times.

Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama's then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii." 

The booklet, which was distributed to "business colleagues" in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel. 

It also promotes Obama's anticipated first book, Journeys in Black and White--which Obama abandoned, later publishing Dreams from My Father instead.

Obama’s biography in the booklet is as follows (image and text below):

Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.  The son of an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, he attended Columbia University and worked as a financial journalist and editor for Business International Corporation.   He served as project coordinator in Harlem for the New York Public Interest Research Group, and was Executive Director of the Developing Communities Project in Chicago’s South Side. His commitment to social and racial issues will be evident in his first book, Journeys in Black and White.

The booklet, which is thirty-six pages long, is printed in blue ink (and, on the cover, silver/grey ink), using offset lithography. It purports to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of Acton & Dystel, which was founded in 1976.

Jay Acton no longer represents Obama. However, Jane Dystel stilllists Obama as a client on her agency's website.

According to the booklet itself, the text was edited by Miriam Goderich, who has since become Dystel's partner at Dystel & Goderich, an agency founded in 1994. Breitbart News attempted to reach Goderich by telephone several times over several days. Her calls are screened by an automated service that requires callers to state their name and company, which we did. She never answered.

The design of the booklet was undertaken by Richard Bellsey, who has since closed his business. Bellsey, reached by telephone, could not recall the exact details of the booklet, but told Breitbart News that it "sounds like one of our jobs, like I did for [Acton & Dystel] twenty years ago or more."

The parade of authors alongside Obama in the booklet includes politicians, such as former Speaker of the House Tip O’Neill; sports legends, such as Joe Montana and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar; and numerous Hollywood celebrities. 

The reverse side of the page that features Barack Obama includes former Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader and early-1990s "boy band" pop sensation New Kids On the Block.

Acton, who spoke to Breitbart News by telephone, confirmed precise details of the booklet and said that it cost the agency tens of thousands of dollars to produce. 

He indicated that while "almost nobody" wrote his or her own biography, the non-athletes in the booklet, whom "the agents deal[t] with on a daily basis," were "probably" approached to approve the text as presented.

Dystel did not respond to numerous requests for comment, via email and telephone. Her assistant told Breitbart News that Dystel "does not answer questions about Obama."

The errant Obama biography in the Acton & Dystel booklet does not contradict the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate. Moreover, several contemporaneous accounts of Obama’s background describe Obama as having been born in Hawaii.

The biography does, however, fit a pattern in which Obama--or the people representing and supporting him--manipulate his public persona.

David Maraniss's forthcoming biography of Obama has reportedly confirmed, for example, that a girlfriend Obama described in Dreams from My Father was, in fact, an amalgam of several separate individuals. 

In addition, Obama and his handlers have a history of redefining his identity when expedient. In March 2008, for example, he famouslydeclared: "I can no more disown [Jeremiah Wright] than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother." 

Several weeks later, Obama left Wright's church--and, according to Edward Klein's new biography, The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House, allegedly attempted to persuade Wright not to "do any more public speaking until after the November [2008] election" (51).

Obama has been known frequently to fictionalize aspects of his own life. During his 2008 campaign, for instance, Obama claimed that his dying mother had fought with insurance companies over coverage for her cancer treatments. 

That turned out to be untrue, but Obama has repeated the story--which even the Washington Post called "misleading"--in a campaign video for the 2012 election.

The Acton & Dystel biography could also reflect how Obama was seen by his associates, or transitions in his own identity. He is said, for instance, to have cultivated an "international" identity until well into his adulthood, according to Maraniss.

Regardless of the reason for Obama's odd biography, the Acton & Dystel booklet raises new questions as part of ongoing efforts to understand Barack Obama--who, despite four years in office remains a mystery to many Americans, thanks to the mainstream media.
