INTERNET GURU'S - BASIL III COMPLIANT    Remember the old PROVERB: 'Knowledge is power?'  Well all of you Dinarians need to 'power-up' and understand a few things that these Internet Guru's obviously do not! The RV [re-value] isn't just about Iraq and the Dinar or Vietnam and the Dong. The RV is an international matter, which does NOT necessitate, require or focus upon Maliki or Shabbi's permission or the United Nations approval or acknowledgment. For those of you who do not research history, government, law and politics:  The Puppet Master pulls the strings and call the shots of the Criminal Cabal and have been in control of the United States Corporation since 1913. 'Those who do not know their past are condemned to repeat it.' George Santayana. The Chinese have NO designs on World Domination and still they are responsible for championing the RV internationally. Seventy-one Countries opposed the RV because it meant the destruction of their FIAT based currency and government. All of those Countries are United Nations members. Now isn't that curious? The balance of the 194 Countries who are not United Nations members, voted in favor of the RV because they are tired of selling their goods and services internationally in exchange for worthless paper [or] script, a/k/a FIAT currency!  The RV is all about forcing all Countries who wish to trade internationally, to make their currency [asset backed] or BASIL III compliant! BASIL III means currency guaranteed by gold, silver or some other measurable asset accountability: [e.g.] NO MORE Bonded Promissory Notes drawn against government issued birth certificates [or] currency backed by counterfeit Liens [or] Bonds simply created out of thin air, which is the reason why the Euro is on the verge of collapsing right now! You all know about America's NATIONAL DEBT and heard the arguments about how our government leaders have squandered the labor and assets of future generations for centuries to come! Now here's the truth about that argument: America is a FIAT or debt based government and economy, and in order to stabilize a FIAT system, it is necessary to PERPETUATE DEBT and never pay it off! Hence, the reason why Congress refuses to be held to a balanced budget and the reason for our military involvement in so many foreign wars! Even a high tax structure helps to perpetuate debt,  Especially when 100% of your tax dollars are exported out of the United States! And I bet you thought your taxes ran the government and wars were all about stopping Communist aggression! In the minds of our government leaders: 'War and taxes are good for business!' Spoken like a true sociopath! Debt represents a negative number and in America, debt is perpetuated with the use of promissory notes called: 'Federal Reserve Notes.' The Federal Reserve is neither Federal nor is it a Reserve. It is a privately owned foreign corporation and is also known by the name: The Bank of International Settlements. The Federal Reserve Corporation is owned and controlled by a group of Sabbatean Bankers based in Israel. The NATIONAL DEBT is a trick bookkeeping entry, which does not involve any real assets because a real asset entry would immediately cancel the debt. Under the Uniform Commercial Code(UCC), promissory notes such as a Federal Reserve Note, is defined as a: 'Negotiable Debt Instrument' and so the National Debt of America is based entirely upon these negotiable debt instruments. In retrospect, America's National Debt can be canceled at any time with an asset bookkeeping entry and the payment of one dollar of solid gold or silver! A positive cancels a negative, even when the negative is in the trillions. It's basic Algebra!  I sent this to a friend of mine and he questioned my math because he is old school and my math didn't make sense to him! So I wrote back to him with this example and explanation:  IF you add -1 and +1 what is the sum? The answer is 0 because each cancels out the other. Now if you add -34,000 and +1 what is the sum? The answer is still [0] because each cancels out the other. Here's the trick: -I can be broken up into -35,000 pieces or more but when all those pieces are glued back together, you still have nothing more than the original +1. In Mathematics, 0 = 0 and anything less than 0 is still 0. Algebra on the other hand, dissects that result and theorizes the possibility of negative numbers having values. The National Debt represents negative numbers that appear to have values! The Federal Reserves bookkeeping system conceals this simple truth, which is also known as 'debt slavery' and to complete their circle of fraud and slavery, the American public must be trained to believe that 'Federal Reserve Notes' have real value! This was accomplished by and through forced public education! Our government officials concluded that under these conditions the American public could be taught to believe anything we choose and our Licenses and Diplomas are proof of their success!  PS/ Don't look in Fort Knox for that gold dollar because there isn't any gold there! America's gold was embezzled by previous federal government leaders during their planned Great Depression of 1933, however one dollar of any currency that is BASIL III Compliant can cancel the American National Debt and this is why the United Nations membership is so vehemently opposed to the international re-value of currency. Many member Countries have attempted to instigate WWIII in the middle east and Asia, in an attempt to head off the RV. [e.g.] The tsunami in Japan was created by the detonation of an underwater A-bomb. Japan's political structure is in revolt and the new faction supports the RV and desires to sever Japan's alliance with the United Nations. This new FIAT based government for the United States is the real reason why Franklin Roosevelt, issued a Presidential Order in 1933, that directed all American citizens to surrender their gold during the Great Depression and why under the Federal Banking Act, the Constitutional control of America's currency and the US Mint was surrendered to the Federal Reserve Board and why under the Federal Coinage Act, it became unlawful for American citizens to own solid gold and silver and why all American coins are now plated with mixed alloys and filled with charcoal. Only jewelers can own solid gold, if related to his trade and numismatists are permitted to collect and trade Silver Certificates; solid gold and silver, but the moment they offer any of these in payment of a Federal debt; they have committed a Federal Crime! BASIL III shall eliminate the debt based strangle hold over America and shall cause all of the Federal Reserve Notes that our politicians and industrial leaders have stolen and or accumulated to instantly become as worthless as used paper. Imagine Bill Gates and Mitt Romney being as poor as you and me! The Iraqi Dinar and the Vietnam Dong have received the greatest amount of attention by and from currency speculators because both currencies have the greatest potential to generate huge dividends with the international RV. Both of these currencies had previously been devalued by the World Bank; the IMF and CBI by virtue of the international influence wheeled by the United States Corporation (government)!The devaluation of currency is a military strategy designed to defeat a Country economically while attacking them physically. Iraqi Dinar's were previously worth 3.22 US prior to their devaluation but I'm not certain what the Dong was worth prior to its devaluation. Iraqi History: When the new government for Iraq was installed and approved by the United Nations around 16 months ago, the very first action by the Iraqi government was to petition the United Nations to be released from Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and request permission to freely Contract with other Countries once again. The United Nations agreed to both requests pending the submission and approval of a repayment plan for Kuwait and repayment of all other debts Iraq has accumulated during their occupation and reconstruction. Iraq submitted a plan, which was approved and the Bankruptcy was released and Iraq's first new Contract was with the Soviets, to supply Russia with ten trillion dollars worth of crude over the next five years!  All of the internal politics about Iraq that these Internet Guru's have been writing about has no bearing on the worldwide RV. Their recent comments and Intel about Iraq's Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and their repayment plan holding up the RV is old news and incorrect news. This is all Cabal propaganda and rhetoric being used to transfer attention from the Cabal to Iraq, while the Cabal re-groups and grabs at straws to block the RV and save their thousand year plan for World Domination!  None of this mis-direction will do the Cabal any good but does explain what the RV delay is really all about!   The WHITE HATS have a different plan and schedule in mind, which first involves the collapse of the FIAT governments by and through the international RV; the mass arrests of Cabal members for crimes against humanity; the installation of temporary governments and lastly the release of technology that has been withheld from us under the guise of TOP SECRET! This technology will destroy the oil industries strangle hold on all Countries foreign and domestic and will eliminate their lies and arguments to drill more oil wells in environmentally dangerous and protected venues.  PS/ Oil wells never go dry because Mother Earth methodically refills them as crude is pumped out! Wells can be pumped out faster than the Earth can refill them but they will all eventually be refilled just the same!  The WHITE HATS plan requires that the international RV occur first because the BASIL III compliance regulation will cause the eventual collapse the worlds FIAT governments and cancel their worthless counterfeit currency. So if you're eagerly waiting for the RV to occur, be comforted by the fact that 194 Countries are just as eager for the RV as you! Keep in mind that the Cabals mercenaries are not patriotic souls and do not work for free! If the Cabal cannot hire or pay for their mercenaries, who is left to protect them?  Speculation about the Dinar and Dong have caused most of these Internet Guru's to concentrate only on these two international currencies, absent any real knowledge or understanding about the RV. Their Internet Blog; member following and their personal ignorance, make them an easy mark for disinformation agents who frequently feed them useless Intel about the internal politics of Iraq and Vietnam. Have you ever witnessed any of these Internet Guru's discuss any of the historic; political; monetary or international facts or details I have just elaborated on?  Since the world wide RV is certain to collapse all FIAT based governments, why would any of these Internet Guru's ever recommend setting up any kind of bank account or trust at any of the Federal Reserve Banks? If they had any real intellect, these Guru's, should be recommending off-shore accounts in safe foreign venues. I believe one of these Guru's, actually used the term FDIC insured. For those of you who don't know, the FDIC went Bankrupt around 2006 and not one deposit entered into any Federal Reserve Bank has been insured after that date!  I even recall reading about some Guru recommending a special non-taxable, non-interest bearing, secured account created by Congress, called: 'Tag Accounts.'  Well, isn't that special because when the Federal Reserve and the United States FIAT government collapses; so does the monetary system and their regulatory laws called Statutes! i.e. Statues are actually corporate regulations and NOT law! They can only be enforced against sub-corporations, which is why all of our names are all spelled out in capital letters! Still these people who claim to be Internet Guru's continue to offer other investors such irresponsible and ruminant counsel ! Worse still is the fact that there actually are Dinarians in our society who are prepared to blindly follow their stolid advice and risk losing it all!  The only positive comment I can write about these Internet Gurus is that they do perpetuate the American dream and daily bring a small ray of hope into the lives of a people and culture who certainly deserve something better. ENFORCEMENT OF VERDICT FINDING BUSH, CHENEY, RUMSFELD & LAWYERS GUILTY OF WAR CRIMES

QUESTION: "What validity does this verdict have on the international community...how will the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal exercise a sentence, or is there a sentence?"

Elizabeth II and the missing Stone of Destiny

Truth-seekers often know Fritz Springmeier's classic, Bloodlines of the Illuminati, and most people on Earth know Elizabeth Mountbatten (also known by criminal aliases Windsor and QE2).  Unfortunately not many know about Elizabeth's ancient bloodline and why, out of all the Illuminazis, hers is perhaps the most timely to consider at present.

To start, Elizabeth Mountbatten, the woman claiming to be the queen of Britain, is, without doubt, descended from the ancient King David whose story many will know from the Bible.

It's too much to include here, but the true and verifiable genealogy of the British royals has been published in many books for over a hundred of years and is also widely available for viewing online. For reference: King David to "queen" Elizabeth.

The "royal" family knows their own history full well, including that they and the British people are part of the "Lost" tribes of Israel (Ephraim.)  However, they certainly don't go out of their way to educate the "commoners" about these facts (quite the opposite really.)  But, despite all the disinformation over the years, this ancient heritage of the British royal family is true and bullet-proof.

Elizabeth's great great grandmother, the legitimate queen Victoria, was so proud of her lineage that she had a large poster put up in Windsor castle, showing the family bloodline back to David.  It is far too expansive a subject to discuss here, but knowing what became of all the "Lost" tribes of Israel helps to understand this overall subject and plenty of others.  That information can be easily looked at here: Twelve Tribes of Israel.

As a disclaimer, it should be stated and understood that the royal line of David has almost never produced good stewards to the people of Earth.  This is stated clearly in the Bible and has been proven by history.  Even David's infamous son, king Solomon, is recorded as having turned to witchcraft and occultism by the end of his life, and many practitioners of the occult know of Solomon's contributions to their "religion".  History is rife with other examples showing this ancient Israelite bloodline's consistently despicable actions, including their working with other "black nobility", such as the Rothschilds, to bring about the satanic New World Order.

In the brilliant book by John Coleman called, The Conspirator's Hierarchy: The Committee of 300, he states that, basically, Elizabeth (or whoever holds the British monarch) is at the top of the NWO-pyramid with only a small handful of evil peers.  So, those that may have fallen for the disinfo that Elizabeth is just a figurehead should think again.  Her and her family are far from just figureheads.

The reason that Elizabeth and her family are of timely importance is because her power is probably the easiest to take away out of all the top Illuminati families, and taking her down would shake the NWO super-structure to its core.

Then there is the "Stone of Destiny", which very few people outside of Britain have ever heard of.  The absolute shortest version of events is that it was the rock Jacob, the Biblical patriarch of Israel, used as a pillow when he slept in a cave outside Bethel and dreamed of angels ascending and descending to Heaven.  Upon awakening from his sleep, Jacob anointed the Stone with oil and turned it into the seat, or Throne, of the Israelite people (not the modern-day Khazarian "Israelis").  History has now shown and proven that absolutely every single legitimate king or queen of Israel has been crowned sitting or standing upon this Stone/Throne.

Every single one of them--except Elizabeth.

In World War 2, when the Nazis were bombing London, it was not the crown jewels that were taken to safety; it was this Stone of Destiny.  .

To the great dismay of king George (and his daughter Elizabeth -- now "QE2"), the Stone was taken from Westminster Abbey on Christmas Day of 1950 by a group of four Scottish nationalists, lead by a brave man named Ian Hamilton.  Mr. Hamilton authored a book recounting the endeavor called, Taking of the Stone of Destiny.  In it he wrote: "Privately we learned that he (George VI) had a superstitious fear that the loss portended the end of his dynasty."

After the four Scots took the real Stone of Destiny back to their homeland and hid it safely, they took a fake sandstone block that had been used to practice and train with, then wrapped it in a Scottish national flag before leaving it at the symbolic Arbroath Abbey in Scotland, where the English authorities found and retrieved it.

The real Stone has not been seen publicly since 1950, but a valid picture of it prior to its removal from Wesminster Abbey, along with a film on the subject and a far more detailed account of the Stone's true history, can be seen here: The Lia Fail - Stone of Destiny. Unfortunately the only pictures available are black and white, but many first-hand historical accounts all recorded the same thing, that the real Stone was a reddish/purplish type of porphyry rock.

The similarly sized block of sandstone that was only acquired to practice on, not even made to look like a qualified replica and substitute for the real thing, is the "stone of destiny" now wrongly on display at Edinburgh castle, and this is a picture of it: fake stone in Edinburgh.

So, anyone that had seen the real Stone would have immediately known this sandstone block was a fake, including both king George and his daughter Elizabeth.

The linked pictures, alongside the aforementioned quote from George (of which there are others), all help prove the royals knew the returned stone was a fake.  But it was Elizabeth's actions surrounding her 1953 Coronation that really drove the point home.

When her father George died, Elizabeth did everything she could to stop her Coronation from being televised, because she was terrified that people would see that the stone being used for her coronation was a fake.  It was perfectly obvious to her, so she feared it would be obvious to everyone else too.  Public demands forced her to relent, but a strict rule was passed that absolutely no close-ups could be shot.

More recently, and because this information was pieced together by prolific researcher John Hill (who is now in prison because of his discoveries,) the fake sandstone that Elizabeth was "crowned" on has been sent to Scotland because Elizabeth wants to get rid of the evidence of her fraud.  If she still had the real Stone of Destiny it would be under 24-hour armed guard, and would never be given to anyone else, but she doesn't have it.

For those interested in prophecy, the book of Ezekiel talks about these events, saying:

21:25 And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when inequity shall have an end,

21:26 Thus saith the Lord God; Remove the diadem (sovereignty), and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

21:27 I will overturn (1st), overturn (2nd), overturn (3rd), it: and it shall be no more, overturned (4th) UNTIL he come whose Right it is; and I will give it him - Shiloh (Gen. 49:10).

To understand all the details of the Stone's full history, the reference link above will need to be looked at, but three of the overturns have already come and gone, and the fourth overturn began in 1950 when the Stone was taken from Elizabeth, but has not been completed yet.

Overturn 1: From Jerusalem to Ireland (Hill of Tara) in 6th century BC.

Overturn 2: From Ireland to Scotland (first Argyll, then Dunstaffnage) around 5th century AD.

Overturn 3: From Scotland to England (London - Westminster Abbey) in 1296 AD.

4th and Final Overturn: Began when the Stone was taken from Westminster Abbey in 1950 AD.


If you look again at Elizabeth's royal genealogy, you will see that the valid and legitimate royal bloodline of David follows the path of the Stone perfectly, because ALL of the people/royals in that bloodline knew of the origins, prophecies, and great importance of the Stone of Destiny.

If more people know about this, and start demanding answers with one voice, it could turn into a nightmarish scenario for Elizabeth, because it has the potential to drag her down and put her in prison for fraud, theft, and treason.  "Off with her head!" 

People have spent a huge amount of time demanding Obama's birth certificate, but Obama is just an interchangeable pawn, whereas Elizabeth is a major, life-long Illuminati figure, heading one of Earth's most evil but influential families.  Without access to Hawaii state records, we don't really have bullet-proof evidence of Obama's ineligibility.  Fortunately for us, the proof of Elizabeth's fraud is the fake stone sitting in Edinburgh castle right now for anyone to go see.

Since launching the blog Portal 2012 – which is subtitled The Intelligence Hub for the Victory of Light in 2012 – on March 31 this year, the person who identifies him or herself only as Cobra has made quite an impact. Yet, to the world at large, next to nothing is known about Cobra.

Today Cobra reveals:
• There is a plan for Ascension, but claims that “the exact plan how this will occur is classified intel until the Cabal is removed”.
• He or she had a physical encounter with the Pleaidians and is a Pleiadian, incarnate in a human body.
• Some cabal members are already under house arrest.
• This weekend, around the eclipse of May 20, is “going to be VERY intense”.
I would like to reiterate that I have not edited any of Cobra’s responses. I have simply re-organised my questions into a more cohesive flow as our communications took place via email over several days.
Before you read on, again I ask that, as with anything that we cannot verify, please use your own discernment. In a reading I had this week, Archangel Michael was very clear to me that it’s important to be “very discerning” with regards to the information Cobra shares in this interview and on the Portal 2012 blog.
As Cobra also stated in yesterday’s Part 1: “I do my best to give you intel from credible sources. However, you need to check my intel (and any other intel as well) with a combination of your intuition and rational mind. This combination is key (as to) how to discern disinfo”.
Finally, for the record, I still do not know who Cobra is, his or her gender, what nationality, where he or she lives, is located, or anything like that. I only know what Cobra has told me in the answers provided to my questions below.

Cobra: Light worker, Light warrior, does it really matter? It matters more what I do to help liberate the planet.
Would you describe yourself as an Earth Ally?
C: Yes.
You seem to be bridging the worlds between the Galactics and the Earth Allies, would you agree?
C: Yes, very much.
And why are you able – or what aspects of your life allow you – to do this?
C: I had a physical encounter with the Pleiadians and also physical contact with the Resistance.
You have also said that you are “instructed” to post certain messages. Is it only by the Resistance Movement?
C: Resistance movement and the Pleiadians.
And are the Pleiadians the source of many of your messages?
C: Yes, some of them.
Are you Terrestrial Human or Pleiadian Human?
C: Pleiadian, incarnated in a human body.
You mentioned you would soon be carrying messages (not channelled) from the Pleiades. Can you explain this in a little more detail as to what is your personal contact with the Pleiadians
C: There is a plan for Ascension but the exact plan how this will occur is classified intel until the Cabal is removed. For this reason positive ET races give no information. This has confused most channels. They connect, they feel the positive energy of their ET contact, but no intel except for general messages comes through. Then they make up the message with their subconscious mind. This is the main reason why most channels are not reliable. A few of them are, but I am not going to say who they are.
My connection with the Pleiadians in not channeling. When the Cabal is removed, I will give intel about the Ascension plan to the general public.
You have said that Operation Pandora has nothing to do with any Microwave mind-control CIA operation. And that Operation Phoenix has nothing to do with a CIA operation in Vietnam. You mention codes for both on your website, so what are they?
C: Operation Pandora: removal of the non-physical Archons.
Operation Phoenix: still classified. About Operation Phoenix, I can say only: something beautiful is going to happen.
You have written about The Event being the moment of Compression Breakthrough and that includes, but is not limited to, the mass arrests. Can you tell me more about how these two are related?.
C: Most likely at the moment of mass arrests also all non-physical negative entities will be removed. This is the moment of removal of last darkness in the universe. A big breakthrough of Light of cosmic importance.
You have also said: “before the Event, the Source will send a pulse of Light through the Galactic Confederation and the Pleiadians will instruct the Resistance Movement to use its 300 operatives on the surface of the planet to contact the key people inside the military and law enforcement and then the operation will start.” Do you have any idea when this may occur?
C: This may occur within the Window of Opportunity. (Stephen: which is May 5 through June 6, 2012)
Surely there are more than 300 operatives for such a massive mission?
C: There are only 300 operatives of the Resistance on the surface of the planet. They will not be involved in actual arrests. This is the job of positive military and positive civil authority. Resistance is just giving assistance with intel and tactical advice.
You have also talked about the current Window of Opportunity, between May 5 and June 6, but many people are getting frustrated at waiting. What do you say to them?
C: Do not wait. Get actively involved. Spread the information. Get involved in mass meditations. Do whatever else you can.
You’ve occasionally quoted information from other commentators on the net and elsewhere and you’ve described Ben Fulford, David Wilcock and Drake as being credible sources. How do you know this?
C: I have excellent information sources that have confirmed their credibility.
How do you discern who and what is “correct” and credible? How do you know?
C: I have an excellent spiritual connection with the Source.
Why did you write your open letter this week to Drake, Ben Fulford, David Wilcock, Kerry Cassidy and Bill Brockbrader? What’s the story? Is there some sort of disinfo campaign against you that we do not know of?
C: There were some conflicts lately between some of those people. I just wanted to get them to talk to each other, forgive, heal and then cooperate and share resources to be more effective.
Why them – and only them? Surely they are not the only people who are attempting to get messages out and assist in the changes we are all seeking?
C: Yes, that is true. You can suggest anyone else and maybe we can include them in this discussion.
You also called on your blog for others to provide you with info. Why is that? And how do you then “know” that those sources may or may not be credible?
C: Nobody knows everything, myself included, and it never hurts to have more information and to make new meaningful connections with people.
There are stories of shootouts in Washington in recent days – not sure of their veracity – and rumours that things may move along during NATO? What do you know about these things?
C: Both stories are true. Cabal members under ”house arrest” are getting a little bit “nervous”.
This weekend (May 20th) is going to be VERY intense.
Likewise there are rumours around the G8. What do you know about the reason for moving the G8 to Camp David?
C: The Cabal is a little bit afraid to have everybody in one place. So they diversify…
Do you believe President Obama is one of the good guys?
C: I have intel about Obama but it is still confidential. Nevertheless, in the greater perspective, all this drama about Obama is not needed. Obama good guy, Obama bad guy, that doesn’t change much.
You must be aware of the discussions that have resulted from your Archons’ messages, especially your comments on the Lords of Karma and the Ascended Masters; e.g. that the Lords of Karma live on the astral plane, which would be 4D by most people’s understanding (did you not mean a higher-dimensional plane?). Also, that the Ascended Masters did not teach the laws of karma (when many believe they did). So, what do you say to those who have disputed or questioned your version of certain events such as these on your blog?
C: There are no pure Ascended Master teachings here on Earth. All teachings that supposedly come from the Ascended Masters (including all channeling) are in fact teachings of their disciples. Those disciples are NOT completely enlightened and are thus susceptible to the mind programming of the Cabal to a certain extent.
Pure Ascended Masters teaching would be an Ascended Master materializing in front of a group of people and teaching them spiritual truths. This is NOT happening, as you probably know. This will be happening only after First Contact.
Apart from sending positive thoughts and visualising the world we all want, what else can we all do to help?
C: You can spread information. You can create a network of meaningful connections with people around you.
What advice can you give to Lightworkers who’ve been waiting all their lives for this consciousness shift?
C: Actively participate in the shift. Live your dreams.

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. This picture of veteran Seattle TV Host Nancy Guppy arriving to cover the red carpet at the 38th Seattle Film Festival stuffed into an undersized dog kennel on the roof of a car is worth at least that many. It is unclear what prompted Guppy to enact this obviously insulting homage to former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and his controversial handling of his dog, Seamus. It is just as unclear why anyone would think this was a good idea.

Over the past three years,  the Department of Justice has filed criminal charges against hundreds of ordinary Americans for financial fraud.  But no one from the largest banks and firms onWall Street have been similarly charged for events leading up to the financial crisis.  Could that be because those banks are clients of the firms from which top DOJ officials hail?

In November 2009,  President Obama established the Financial Fraud Enforcement Task Force to deal with financial crimes related to the 2008 financial crisis.  As Attorney General Eric Holder,  chairman of the Task Force, explained at the time:  “This Task Force’s mission is not just to hold accountable those who helped bring about the last financial meltdown, but to prevent another meltdown from happening.  We will be relentless in our investigation of corporate and financial wrongdoing,  and will not hesitate to bring charges,  where appropriate,  for criminal misconduct on the part of businesses and business executives.”

None of that happened.   The Task Force is still humming along almost three years later, but its highlighted successes are less “business executives” than ordinary Americans who have had the book thrown at them. From their website:

“Three Connecticut Women Charged with Overseeing ‘Gifting Tables’ Pyramid Scheme.”  Three women in their 50s and 60s have been indicted on conspiracy, tax and wire fraud charges.  “These arrests should send a strong message to all who threaten the financial health of our communities,”  said one federal agent.

Ten people in Las Vegas have been criminally charged with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud in a “scheme to fraudulently control” Condominium Home Owners Associations. They have pled guilty and face up to 30 years in prison.

“Justice Department Sues Princeton Review for Claiming Reimbursement for Tutoring Services It Did Not Provide.”  The educational publisher apparently billed the federal government for reimbursements in connection with a federally-funded program for underprivileged children.

“Alabama Real Estate Investor Agrees to Plead Guilty to Conspiracies to Rig Bids and Commit Mail Fraud for the Purchase of Real Estate at Public Foreclosure Auctions.” Steven Cox will get one year in prison because he and some friends agreed not to bid against each other at public auctions and then hold a second secret auction with the properties they purchased.  This meant that they ‘artificially suppressed prices…[and] homeowners and others with a legal interest in rigged foreclosure properties receive less than the competitive price for the properties,” reads the Task Force press release.   People in several other states have been similarly charged.

“Former Real Estate Appraiser Sentenced in Washington, D.C. to 65 months in Prison for Mortgage Fraud.”  A property appraiser goes to jail for fraudulently manipulating mortgage applications while flipping real estate properties.  The fraud scheme cost mortgage lenders $2.3 million. A Florida man was sentenced to 14 months in federal prison for obstructing an SEC investigation.

Certainly there have been opportunities to aggressively investigate criminal acts of fraud involving the largest banks and investment houses.   The SEC has alleged that half a dozen banks “knowingly”  passed fraudulent information along to government agencies and investors.   The same charges have been leveled against several of the largest investment houses as it relates to subprime mortgages.
