Obama Sues To Restrict Military Voting: Presidential Candidate Ron Paul’s 51% Support By The U.S. Military.

President Barack Obama, along with many Democrats, likes to say that, while they may disagree with Ron Paul on many issues related to national security, they absolutely fein their admiration and dedication to members of our armed forces. Obama, in particular, enjoys being seen visiting troops and having photos taken with members of our military. So, why is his campaign and the Democrat party suing to restrict their ability to vote in the upcoming election?

Ron Paul’s 51% Military Contributions!

On July 17th, the Obama for America Campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and the Ohio Democratic Party filed suit in OH to strike down part of that state’s law governing voting by members of the military. Their suit said that part of the law is “arbitrary” with “no discernible rational basis.”
Currently, Ohio allows the public to vote early in-person up until the Friday before the election. Members of the military are given three extra days to do so. While the Democrats may see this as “arbitrary” and having “no discernible rational basis,” I think it is entirely reasonable given the demands on servicemen and women’s time and their obligations to their sworn duty.
The National Defense Committee reports:

[f]or each of the last three years, the Department of Defense’s Federal Voting Assistance Program has reported to the President and the Congress that the number one reason for military voter disenfranchisement is inadequate time to successfully vote.

I think it’s unconscionable that we as a nation wouldn’t make it as easy as possible for members of the military to vote. They arguably have more right to vote than the rest of us, since it is their service and sacrifice that ensures we have the right to vote in the first place.
If anyone proposes legislation to combat voter fraud, Democrats will loudly scream that the proposal could “disenfranchise” some voter, somewhere. We must ensure, they argue, that voting is easy and accessible to every single voter. Every voter, that is, except the men and women of our military.
Make no mistake, the Democrat lawsuit is intended to disenfranchise some unknown number of military voters. The judge should reject it with prejudice.

Experts on a panel assembled by Florida-based The United West have warned that the aftermath of an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) attack would be devastating on the United States, with up to 90 percent of the population dead or dying.
According to Fritz Ermarth, chairman of the National Intelligence Council, “A significant EMP event would bring about the prompt and early delayed death of millions of people.”
In what has been called an “Electronic Armageddon,” an EMP strike delivered from a single bomb would result in the United States losing two-thirds to 90 percent of its population within six months of the event.
Congressman Roscoe Bartlett, Ph.D., R-Md., has been deeply concerned about the effects of an EMP of the nation’s critical infrastructure. In a report written by the Congressional EMP Commission which Mr. Bartlett established, a one megaton nuclear device detonated about 500 kilometers in the atmosphere would lay down an EMP blanket over the entire contiguous United States. Cities in the periphery of the blast radius, San Diego and Maine, would experience approximately 10-kilovolts per meter of electrical field strength.
That amount of energy would be enough to cause substantial damage to unprotected electronics in both civilian and military equipment.
(Strategic military assets are well protected from EMP, but as one moves down to the tactical and support assets, EMP protection is much less.)
One major form of damage would be to the electrical power grid. An EMP would strike the electrical transformers that are part of the electrical distribution system, rendering them inoperable. There are more than 2,000 large transformers throughout the United States, a sizable proportion of which would fall victim to the blast.
The national power grid is a very complex and interwoven system and a failure in any part of the grid would have a cascading effect on the rest of the structure.

The Northeast Blackout of August 2003 was a sign of the grid’s vulnerability. High summer temperatures stretched high-voltage lines until they sagged onto overgrown tree branches, and the result zap caused a two-day blackout. The tree limbs, in effect, shut down over 100 power plants, deprived more than 55 million people of power and cost the national economy $6 billion, according to the 2004 U.S.-Canada Power System Outage Task Force.
Fortunately, the 48-hour blackout did not cause many deaths. There were some heat-related deaths and a few people died in carbon monoxide poisonings as a result of running generators in their homes or from fires started from candles.
But the effects did not end there. Television and radio stations went off the air, traffic lights and train switching stations went off-line, causing a transportation gridlock that turned highways into parking lots. Water treatment plants went offline as their water tanks emptied and their water lines lost pressure, leaving hundreds of thousands of people without potable water.
An EMP-generated power outage would be much worse. Much, much worse.
The EMP Commission gave a startling scenario. In addition to loss of transportation and water supplies, communication would be largely impossible. Our communication system has grown exponentially with the advent of the integrated circuit.
But the integrated circuit of today is nearly 10,000 times more complex than it was 25 years ago and the vulnerability of communication equipment has increased correspondingly.
According to testimony given to the House Armed Services Committee by Dr. Lowell Wood of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, “there is reason to believe that the semiconductor-based portions of our communication system, which is to say essentially all of it, would be extremely EMP vulnerable. Measurements done on individual systems certainly support that projection.”
Telephones would not work. Most emergency home radios would no longer function, since they are also vulnerable to an EMP.
Aircraft, particularly civilian aircraft would also be vulnerable to an EMP. While analysts and military experts do not believe they would fall out of the sky, “the avionics [would] be considerably disrupted, severely disrupted; and that would obviously influence the ability to land and – depending on what they had for navigation capability and so on, it would be very, very disruptive,” according to Air Force General Robert T. Marsh, former chairman of the President’s Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection.

“Many that were aloft in a daytime attack could probably be landed with a great deal of determination and good fortune on the part of the crews.”
Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, a former member of the Congressional Commission on the Strategic Posture of the United States and president of EMPACT America, Inc., noted that only three days of food are available in stores and 60 days in warehouses.
After an initial run on stores for anything one could buy, the effective food supply would be exhausted. What food was left, in warehouses and on the farms, would be left to rot. What wasn’t ruined by a lack of refrigeration would be left to spoil since there would also be a lack of transportation as those delivery vehicles that may still work would simply run out of gas (which is pumped by electricity).
Even purchasing food would assume stores would find some way to operate without electricity.
After an initial binge to eat the thawing food, people will start to get hungry.
The inability to sanitize and distribute water would quickly threaten public health. Any fire started either by negligence or malicious intent would rage unchecked since there would be no firefighting equipment that would run for very long.
This type of scenario is not fanciful, it is fact. In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina offered this scenario in microcosm. According to the National Hurricane Center, Hurricane Katrina was the costliest natural disaster suffered by the United States, as well as one of the five deadliest.
Almost 2,000 people died in the actual hurricane and in the subsequent floods. The total property damage was estimated at $81 billion. Hurricane Katrina has been used as a model by the Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies on what to do … and what not to do, in a crisis.
The aftermath of an EMP attack would be worse. In the case of past natural disasters, there were agencies and infrastructures outside of the disaster area that were unaffected and could render assistance. Even with outside assistance, it was days before such basics as water was delivered to the affected areas.

In nightmare EMP scenario, the entire nation would be a disaster area. Systems could be down for weeks, months, or even years.
Ermarth is quick to point out that an EMP would not throw America back to the 17th century; it would throw the nation back to the Stone Age. There would be a 21st century population living in a primitive environment without Stone Age skills.
In the 19th century, 75 percent of the nation’s population farmed. They were one generation removed from being pioneers. Now the nation is fed by only 2 percent of population. Most of the 98 percent do not have the survival skills to live past a few months.

William Forstchen

Survivalists would last for a while, but then would have to contend with people streaming out of cities looking for food.
Dr. William Forstchen is a professor of history at Montreat College and the author of a best-selling book on the possible aftermath of an EMP event. The book, titled “One Second After” explains what might happen in a typical American town in the wake of an attack. Forstchen has said he got his inspiration for his book from Newt Gingrich. (Gingrich, Forstchen noted, was the only presidential candidate talking about the dangers from an EMP.)
Speaking on the August 3 webcast hosted by United West, Forstchen said that “you cannot recover from an EMP.”
In that same webcast, Pry noted, an EMP event is the most serious threat facing the United States, but almost no one knows about it.
The United States has already had two warnings in the last two month: the power outages in Washington, D.C. and India.
The experts believe the only real defense is to harden what systems now exist.

Considering the Olympic games represent some of the most conditioned athletes across the globe, it seems quite bizarre that the face of the entire event would be that of Ronald McDonald. With the media frenzy surrounding the Olympic games, it’s easy to see why McDonald’s continues to be a major sponsor (dishing out cash for over 35 years). A massive marketing opportunity is presented to the company that involves aligning itself with a ‘healthy’ and fit event. In fact, McDonald’s is reaping the benefits as even some of the most decorated Olympic finalists are chomping down on their disease-linked frankenburgers. It was reported that ‘the most highly decorated Olympian’ Michael Phelps gorged himself at McDonald’s after winning a gold medal at the Olympics. Phelps and fellow gold medalist Ricky Berens reportedly ate a toxic feast of two Quarter Pounders with cheese, one six-piece McNugget (each of which contains 7 different ingredients to compose the fake chicken ‘meat’), a medium McFlurry, and two medium french fries. Great news for McDonald’s, bad news for viewers. McDonald’s fast food has been linked in scientific research to depression, with those who ate fast food 51 percent more likely to be depressed than those consuming very little or none of the food. McDonald’s has also been heavily criticized for including ‘pink slime’ into their products, which is essentially scrap meat drenched in ammonium hydroxide. And that’s really not the worst of it. Taking another look at the highly popular McNuggets, it’s easy to see why McDonald’s food items contain some of the most concerning chemicals in the entire food industry. The kind that athletes and viewers looking to live a healthy lifestyle should avoid at all costs. McNuggets contain a large list of ingredients, including autolyzed yeast extract (similar to MSG), dimethylpolysiloxane (a type of silicone being phased out as a breast implant substance due to safety concern), safflower oil (often genetically modified), and of course butylhydroquinone (derived from petroleum to ‘preserve freshness’). So why is it that McDonald’s is the official restaurant of the Olympics? It seems that the corporation is desperate to attach to athletic events in order to push itself as a health-conscious chain, when in reality it is likely one of the largest contributors to the breeding of disease in the United States. But of course their executive likes to think differently. In a press release on how McDonald’s ‘cares about your health’ that sought to piggyback on the success of the Olympic games, one exec states: Customers recognize McDonald’s as a responsible, trusted brand that stays current with their lifestyles. Could it be any more obvious just how little this company actually cares about your health? When a strange, milky-white object glided over the Olympics opening ceremony and was caught on video, there was chatter that this was the extraterrestrial visitationfor which UFO researchers are constantly searching.

Now we know the truth behind the strange object spotted amid the pyrotechnics spectacle. It was Goodyear's "Spirit of Safety" blimp. And a spokesman for the company tells HuffPost why the aircraft appeared so mysterious.

To put it simply, the Goodyear name wasn't on the airship, even though it was illuminated the entire time.

"I can definitely tell you we were up in the air for the entirety of the opening ceremonies. I can't speak to what else was in the air, but the blimp was certainly up there during the fireworks," said Goodyear U.S. public relations manager Doug Grassian.

"During the whole ceremony, we were providing the coverage for NBC, so we were up in the air the whole time [with our ship] the Spirit of Safety," Grassian told The Huffington Post.

Three days prior to the start of the Olympics, the Associated Press reported that William Hill, a London betting house, had offered 1,000-to-1 odds that a flying saucer would appear over Olympic Stadium during the opening ceremony. So, people in the U.K. were already wondering -- and betting on -- if such an event would occur.

Alas, it was only Goodyear's Spirit of Safety that showed up in the restricted airspace above the stadium.

The word "Goodyear" -- which normally appears on the blimp -- was removed, adding to the confusion and misidentification of the blimp as a UFO.

"Because we're not a sponsor of the Olympics, we had to take the Goodyear branding off of it," Grassian explained. "That's why when you look at it, you probably just see blue and yellow with no words on it. It will remain that way until the Olympics are done."

This isn't the first time a Goodyear blimp has been mistaken for a UFO.

"It happens occasionally," Grassian said. "I've been in this job roughly two years, and I've seen a couple of incidents where people have called us to ask if the blimp was around because they thought there was a UFO [in the area]."

Those London betting offices probably didn't have to pay off any UFO wagers this time around.

1. James Holmes had no job, was earning unemployment but was able to purchase close to 10k in weapons, explosives, and tactical equipment, and this all happened within 2 months. The chances that Holmes could afford to finance this on his own is highly unlikely. Someone helped finance this attack, follow the money and we will find the masterminds. 2. The testimony of 2 key eye witnesses totally contradicts the official story of there being one shooter, with no accomplice in the attack. One witness testified that the tear gas canisters came from both sides of the theatre, a second witness testified that before the movie began he saw someone sit down in the front row, and shortly after sitting down his phone rang and instead of walking into the main lobby to take the call, he walked over to the emergency exit to the right side of the theatre opened the door and looked to be signaling someone outside the theatre. Shortly after the shooter made entrance through the emergency exit and commenced his attack. 3. Evidence photos - Evidence photos have surfaced of a gas mask outside of the emergency exit of theatre 8, police reported that when they arrested the shooter in the white Hyundai outside of theatre 9 he was wearing a gas mask, that would make 2 gas masks that were recovered. Also photos show the AR-15 propped up against the wall opposite of the fire exit door of theatre 9, police radio communications reported that night that the rifle was found inside the theatre, and even if the the AR-15 was discarded outside the theatre do you think the gunman was going to take the time to set the weapon down ? The Hyundai - why was the window missing? I thought he put up no resistance as he was being taken into custody ? 4. Radio communications from the night of the attack - *First report of suspects was two men fleeing the theatres both wearing back packs, what happened to these two suspects?? *Reports of three people dragging an unknown individual into a non descript vehicle and speeding off *the majority of injured and witnesses were not given access to ambulances, they were to be transported by other vehicles to the high school. WHY? * Police radio that one of the shooters may be wearing blue and plaid shirt *Magazine and AR-15 dropped in theatre 5. Pool of eye witnesses - It was reported that the theatre had over 300 people in it, there have been less than 10 eye witnesses with a only a few taking most of the spotlight ie. Jennifer Seeger. The KEY eye witnesses seem to have very well rehearsed testimony but have not given much sense to whether there testimony is actually plausible - Jennifer Seeger has consistently given a description of the shooter, that miraculously matches James Holmes to a T, even though she has told reporters that she was face down in the aisle, and surrounded by tear gas/gas obstructing her view. Seeger also described the gas canisters down to the colour, personally I believe this was an impossibility in that scenario. She also mentioned that hot shell casings were hitting her in the forehead as the gunman was spraying the theatre, how is this possible? she was on her front was she not? Another point that should be noted is that for a event that involved 300 people, there has been a surprisingly low amount of postings on youtube, facebook, and Twitter. No one who was involved in this event is talking about it, beyond that small group of witnesses that have been talking to national media outlets. 6. Holmes booby trapped apartment - How are we to believe that a 24 yr old, former jewish camp counselor, gaming nerd, science rock star, Neuroscience PHD had the skill set to set up a system of explosive devices and booby traps that would have the FBI bewildered for almost two days?? How are we to believe that ?? There is no way this maze of death was the work of one neuroscience student. It's BS. 7. Rumours of Holmes's Neuroscience program being funded by DARPA - Neursoscience + DARPA + MKULTRA the perfect marriage 8. Anti-gun agenda - Didn't anyone notice how quick public officials were ready to talk to the media about antigun legislation ? Bloomberg publically called out Obama and Romney to do something about the lack of gun control in the US, excellent timing seeing as the UN has legislation on the table to ban small arms globally. 9. The fact that Holmes allegedly bought the guns legally, to me this is the biggest smoking gun that this attack is being used as sounding board for the anti gun/disarmament agenda, think about it...most intelligent people who were planning an attack like this would do everything they could to stay off of the radar, buying the guns legally doesn't allow one to do that. What they are trying to do is demonize the legal gun owner, saying hey Holmes wasn't a criminal he was a normal guy who went crazy, and due to his ability to legally buy these firearms he was able to pull off these attacks. 10. The roomates - The initial reports were than Holmes was living with two other people, but once people started asking who these roommates were, the story had changed to no roommates that he lived by himself. The roommate story had to change because everyone was asking the same thing, if Holmes had roommates where are they ? Are they in the apartment with all of those explosive materials? It makes no sense!!! 'Renounce your faith or stay in prison' 'African North Korea' jails thousands of Christians A human rights organization is issuing an alarm over the number of Christians who have been locked up in Eritrea, where government officials have given them the ultimatum, “Renounce your faith or stay in prison.” Citing data from the U.S. State Department, International Christian Concern says Christians have been arrested and held without charge, and conditions are deteriorating. Sources report more than 3,000 have been put behind bars, the report said. “According to the report by the United States State Department released yesterday, the government of Eritrea ‘demonstrated a trend toward deterioration in respect for religious freedom,’” the ICC report said. The State Department also said the Eritrean government “subjected religious prisoners to harsh conditions and held them for long periods of time without due process.” International Christian human rights group Christian Solidarity International documents Eritrea’s incarceration rate in a separate report. “There are 20,000 people imprisoned in Eritrea – often referred to as the North Korea of Africa,” the report said. Christians are a large part of the prison population, and they often are held without due process, according to the report. “Between 2,000 and 3,000 of them are Christians, imprisoned in inhumane conditions – without trial or charge – in detention centers where torture is rife,” CSI said. “Thousands of Eritreans flee every year, risking the government’s shoot-to-kill border policy in appalling bids for freedom.” The report continued: “Even if they manage to escape, as refugees they often face desperate and dangerous conditions, as well as the threat of kidnap, torture and forcible organ harvesting by Bedouin people traffickers in the Sinai.” Jonathan Racho, the Middle East analyst for ICC, said the reason for the government’s action isn’t complicated. “Their goal is to get the Christians to renounce their faith,” Racho said. The government, he said, is communist and doesn’t like competition. “The communist officials are enraged to see millions of Eritreans worship God instead of worshiping communism,” Racho said. He said the best thing Christians can do is pray, then act. “ICC is alarmed by this latest report about the Christians in Eritrea. It is high time for the international community to pressure Eritrea to release the prisoners,” he said. Eritrea occupies slightly more than 115,000 square miles along the Red Sea on the northern edge of Ethiopia. The CIA Fact Book says the country has a “transitional government,” and a legislature that is made up “entirely of the People’s Front for Democracy and Justice or PFDJ.” WND reported in December 2009 that the Eritrean government arrested 30 women members of a faith mission and detained them in shipping containers for several weeks.
