Why Colonel Oleg Penkovskiy Hated Communism and Gave His Life to Spy for the West

“Our Communism is a fraud… I feel contempt for myself because I am part of this system and I live a lie… I must defeat these men. They are destroying the Russian people.”

An extraordinary but little-known book chronicles the activities of Colonel Oleg Penkovskiy as he carried out his work as a high-level Soviet intelligence officer actively spying for the West.

This book, titled “The Penkovskiy Papers” consists of lengthy notes and journals he kept which were smuggled out of the Soviet Union just before his arrest, together with illuminating commentary by journalist and editor Frank Gibney.

Colonel Penkovskiy’s story is not only a timely account of the sheer horror that is Communism, but also a testimony to the innate desire of humanity for freedom.

Penkovskiy’s ultimate sacrifice on behalf of the security of the West deserves to be remembered by free people, but his words of personal anguish over his role in the Soviet system are also a timeless reminder of the tragic results which inevitably follow from the installation of a Communist government in a nation which fails to remain vigilant in protection of the foundations of the freedom its people enjoy.

What follows is a transcription of a key portion of Colonel Penkovskiy’s personal statement concerning the commitment he made when he decided to become a spy for the West.

“I began as a good Komsomol (Young Communist League member). From the beginning I had showed promise, or so people said, for becoming a builder for Communist society - as A. Bezymenskiy has written,  “a Komsomol to the nth degree”. As a politruk (political officer) I worked as a guide and educator of the soldier masses. I believed in the Soviet system and was ready to fight anyone who even talked against it.

It was first during the struggles of World War II that I became convinced that it was not the Communist Party which moved and inspired us all to walk the fighting road from Stalingrad to Berlin. There was something behind us: Russia.

We believed in the end that we were fighting for the Russia of Suvorov (legendary 18^th century Russian general, author of “The Science of Victory” ) and Kutuzov  (Field Marshall Kutuzov was “one of the finest military officers and diplomats of Russia under the reign of three Romanov Tsars in the late 18^th century – early 19^th century”), of Minin (17^th century Russian merchant who became a hero for his role in defending Russia against a Polish invasion in 1612) and Pozharskiy (Russian hero who organized volunteer forces to defend against the same Polish invasion), not for Soviet Russia, but for Mother Russia.

Even more than by the war itself, my eyes were opened by my work with the higher authorities and general officers of the Soviet Army. I happened to marry a general’s daughter and quickly found myself in a society of the Soviet upper classes. I realized that their praise of the Party and Communism was only in words. In their private lives they lie, deceive, scheme against each other, intrigue, inform, cut each other’s throats. In their pursuit of more money and advancement for themselves they become informants for the KGB on their friends and fellow workers. Their children despise everything Soviet, watch only foreign movie films, and look down on ordinary people.

Our Communism, which we now have been building for almost forty-five years, is a fraud.

I myself am a part of this fraud; after all I have been one of the privileged. Years ago I began to feel disgusted with myself, not to mention with our beloved leaders and guides. I felt before, and I feel now, that I must find some justification for my existence which would give me inner satisfaction. I argued with myself, I swore at myself. Finally I became certain that what we call “our Communist society” was only a façade. One cannot help agreeing with Molotov, who after Stalin’s death stated “by mistake” that we were still far from having built socialism, to say nothing of Communism.

Inwardly I have not grown one bit, and I have the feeling that every day our “Communism” is pulling me back instead of moving me forward. Some disease or infection is eating at our country from within and we must do something to stop it. I do not see any other choice, and this is the main reason why I am joining the ranks of active fighters for my people.

The Communist system is harmful to our people. I cannot serve a harmful system. There are many people who think and feel as I do, but they are afraid to unite for action. So we all work separately. Each man here is alone.

I feel contempt for myself because I am part of this system and I live a lie. The ideals which so many of our fathers and brothers died for have turned out to be nothing more than bluff and a deceit. I know the Army and there are many of us in the officer corps who feel the same way.

I praise our leaders, but inside me I wish them death. I associate with highly placed, important people: ministers and marshals, generals and senior officers, members of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. These people have not done me any harm personally; on the contrary, some of them have helped me to obtain my present position. Several still help me today. Nonetheless I can no longer abide this two-faced existence.

Khrushchev’s is a government of adventurers. They are demagogues and liars, covering themselves with the banner of the struggle for peace. Khrushchev has not renounced war. He is quite prepared to begin a war, if circumstances turn favorable to him. This he must not be permitted to do.

In the past, our General Staff and our foreign representatives condemned the concept of surprise attack such as Hitler used. Now they have come around to the viewpoint that there is a great advantage to the side that makes a sudden massive attack first. They prepare themselves to be in a position to do so. Since he cannot muster enough strength to strike at all potential enemy countries simultaneously, Khrushchev singles out the U.S. and Britain as his attack targets. He estimates that the other Western allies would disintegrate due to differences among themselves. They would be happy to be alive.

From what I have learned and what I have heard, I know that the leaders of the Soviet state are the willing provocateurs of an atomic war. At one time or another, they may lose their heads entirely and start an atomic war. See what Khrushchev has done over Berlin.

The Soviet leaders know exactly that the Western world and especially the Americans do not wish an atomic war. This desire of my Western friends for peace is what the Soviet leaders try to use to their own advantage. It is they who wish to provoke a new war. This would open the road to the subjugation of the  entire world.

I fear this more every day. And my fears confirm my choice to make this invisible fight.

In Moscow I have lived in a nuclear nightmare. I know the extent of their preparations. I know the poison  of the new military doctrine, as outlined in the top-secret “Special Collection” – the plan to strike first, at any costs. I know their new missiles and their warheads. I have described them to my friends. Imagine the horror of a fifty-megaton bomb with an explosive force almost twice what one expects. They congratulated themselves on this.

I must defeat these men. They are destroying the Russian people. I will defeat them with my allies, my new friends.

God will help us in this great and important work.”

Excerpts from the Foreword by Edward Crankshaw:

“When Oleg Penkovskiy was sentenced to death and shot in Moscow in the spring of 1963, few people inside or outside the Soviet Union realized the scale of his operations as a  voluntary agent for the Western intelligence services… In fact he was much more than a routine traitor … he was a key member of the Soviet intelligence service occupying a position of great trust, and enjoying access by virtue of his work and family connections to an extraordinarily wide range of the most confidential information. In working against his own government, he did not regard himself as a traitor… he acted out of the deep conviction that he was serving the cause of human progress...

What I find interesting is that Penkovskiy himself is so shocked by the reality of which he formed a part… (he) was shocked by the size and magnitude and malevolence of the secret service in which he (served). He was also shocked by the behavior of Khrushchev and others…he detested Khrushchev and the Soviet leadership…

For myself, the most fascinating and valuable parts of the book are those which offer an inside view of the ways of life enjoyed by the Soviet elite – men who we think of as Communists, corrupt and living like princes at the expense of the unfortunate masses, to whom Communism is a joke word. Others beside Penkovskiy would like to put a bomb under this world. Perhaps one day they will.”

Excerpts from Commentary by Frank Gibney:

“Colonel Penkovskiy was no mere agent handing over moderately useful military tidbits on Soviet order of battle or economic development. On the contrary, the extent and ingenuity of his work for the West add up to the most extraordinary intelligence feat of this century.

Alone, Oleg Penkovskiy cracked the security system of the world’s most security-conscious government and left it virtually in pieces after his disclosures. The gravity of his work is suggested by its immediate aftermath: one chief marshal of the Soviet Union, and in charge of tactical missile forces at that, was removed from his post and demoted; the Chief of Soviet Military Intelligence, General Ivan Serov (the “Hangman” of Hungary in 1956) transferred, then publicly demoted; some three hundred Soviet intelligence officers almost immediately recalled to Moscow from foreign posts.

From April 1961 to August 1962 Penkovskiy furnished the West with current, high-priority information on the innermost political and military secrets of the Soviet Union. The sixteen months during which he was, so to speak, operational spanned a particularly intense time of crisis between the Khrushchev regime and the new administration of John F. Kennedy. Historians may one day term it the near-freezing point of the Cold War…

It was Penkovskiy’s thesis and his earnest conviction that the State Security forces had to be attacked at their roots before the Russian people, his people, would be capable of leading the peaceful national life he knew they deserved. And that is the thesis of this book.”

Frank Gibney’s concluding comments:

“Oleg Penkovskiy’s initial overtures toward the West were made from disgust at his own Soviet system. His visits there (to London and Paris) turned this into a more positive sentiment. He was almost awe-struck at the experience of the open society. He wanted his own people to have this society at home. He wanted to share in it himself, whether the Russian people could or not.

If he was a flawed hero, he was a hero nonetheless. His struggle was one of  heroic proportions, as was his achievement. If he served by this struggle to blunt the forces of aggression and reaction within his own country, he will have served well.

In any case, by any standard, Oleg Penkovskiy was a most uncommon man.“

OLEG PENKOVSKIY - SOVIET DOUBLE AGENT - CIA FILES

Oleg Penkovsky went from a Russian World War II military hero, to becoming America's best human intelligence asset in the Soviet Union. He believed that Nikita Khrushchev's leadership was taking the Soviet Union onto the path of destruction. Penkovskiy was the highest level Soviet officer to ever spy for the United States or British Intelligence.

The Penkovsky case is considered to have been the most successful Cold War espionage operation. Penkovsky was observed by KGB agents after a meeting with a British intelligence contact, which lead to his arrest and execution.

This group of documents highlights the highs and lows of the intelligence business. The recruitment of a well-placed spy, in this case a high-ranking Soviet military intelligence officer, lessened the tensions of the Cold War by providing information on the intentions, strength, and technological advancement of the Soviet Union. At the same time, the enormous risks for the spy himself became evident in the fate of Penkovsky, shot as a traitor by the Soviets in 1963 for spying for the United States and United Kingdom.

These documents provide an over-the-shoulder look from the perspective of the CIA Director as well as from Penkovsky himself in operational meeting reports. This collection offers insights on the spy's motives as well as the fruit of his espionage for the United States. Files included: CIA reports on the top secret Soviet intelligence reports provided by Penkovsky; Penkovskiy’s debriefings to CIA and SIS officials during visits  to England and France.

Penkovsky allowed the administrations of President Eisenhower and President Kennedy to bypass the bluster and rhetoric of Nikita Khrushchev, and to know the true facts concerning Soviet military preparedness. The files indicate that Penkovskiy’s acts of espionage were able to define for the United States the limitations of Soviet power. Through Penkovsky, the United States learned of the number of nuclear missiles the Soviets held and the problems with their guidance systems.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis, Penkovsky was able to provide information on how those missiles operated in the field.

Soviet GRU (military intelligence) documents provided by Penkovsky show the friction between the Soviet high command over whether Soviet military strategy should depend on nuclear weapons, or general purpose forces.

Mossad’s September Surprise

The film Innocence of Muslims, which sparked anti-American protests throughout the Islamic world last week, bears all the trademarks of an IlluminatiMossad false flag operation designed to both ignite WW III and to sink President Obama’s re-election.
Never mind that the attack on the US Embassy in Bengazi, Libya which killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other embassy employees was carried out by the same al Qaeda nuts Stevens had championed, as they murdered their way to power during the CIA-backed coup against Mohamar Qaddafi.
Never mind that the attacks on the US Embassy in Eqypt were tacitly endorsed by that country’s ruling Muslim Brotherhood – long a clandestine tool of theIlluminati bankers. Or that the attacks on our embassy in Khartoum were launched by al Qaeda thugs bent on replacing Rothschild central banking cartel nemesis Omar al-Bashir.
Forget the statements made by the ignoramus Mitt Romney, who like his Israeli-worshipping Republican kin, remains in denial as to the consequences of invading and occupying Muslim countries at will.
What matters is the timing of these events.
Early last week Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused the Obama Administration of dragging its feet on giving Israel a green light to bomb Iran. A perturbed White House issued a statement that “having this kind of conversation in public is extremely unhelpful”. Most significantly, last Tuesday Obama refused to meet with Netanyahu concurrent with a UN meeting in New York.
Later that day of September 11^th, our embassies were under attack. The attacks continued throughout the week.
Innocence of Muslims was produced by Nakoula Bassely Nakoula, who first claimed to be a Jew kicked out of Israel, and now claims to be allied with Coptic Christians in Egypt. The three-named Nakoula pled guilty to bank fraud in California in 2010. His sidekick in producing the film was Steven Klein, a former US Marine who is active in right-wing religious protests at abortion clinics.

The film was handled by Pastor Terry Jones, the Florida preacher who threatened to burn a copy of the Koran nearly two years ago to the day. According to the Daily Bell, Jones has ties to both the Italian P2 Freemasons and the Israeli Mossad. A few weeks back an Israeli document was leaked which indicated that Israel planned to attack Iran before the US Presidential election. The release of Innocence of Muslims seems designed to drag the US back into the Middle East quagmire at a time when the Israeli Rothschild entity has become increasingly isolated.
All of this is reminiscent of October Surprise, an intelligence operation launched by Ronald Reagan’s election team to sink the incumbent President Jimmy Carter. Heading Reagan’s election effort was soon-to-be CIA Director Bill Casey.

October Surprise and the Hardy Boys
Richard Brenneke, a CIA pilot who testified before Senator John Kerry’s Subcommittee on Terrorism, Narcotics and International Relations that the Honduran arms supermarket supplying the Nicaraguan contras was funded by the Medellin Cartel, and that his superior Donald Gregg told him to “stick to his job”, also claims he flew to Paris on October 18, 1980.
On his BAC-111 jet were CIA Director Bill Casey, Vice President George Bush Sr. and Bush National Security Adviser Donald Gregg.  The three met with the Iranian Hashemi brothers to whom they handed over $40 million in cash.  Jamshid Hashemi confirmed in aNightline interview that he met with Casey twice at the Madrid Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the summer of 1980. [2]
According to October Surprise author Barbara Honneger and many others, the money was a payment to the Iranian Islamist government for delaying the release of 52 US hostages, who had been held for over a year at the US Embassy in Tehran, until after Ronald Reagan won the 1980 election.  Throughout the campaign Reagan had scored political points against his opponent, incumbent President Jimmy Carter, for Carter’s failure to win the release of the hostages.  The $40 million mullah payoff came from leftover proceeds of Nixon’s notorious Committee to Re-Elect the President (CREEP).
Another pilot, Navy Captain Gunther Russbacher, claims he co-piloted Brenneke’s BAC-111 flight to Paris, then whisked Vice-President Bush back to the US in an SR-71 Blackbird spy plane.  Brenneke was tried for perjury in a Portland, OR case brought by Richard Secord’s Enterprise personnel.  Despite testimony against Brenneke by many high-profile witnesses including 30-year CIA veteran Donald Gregg, Brenneke was acquitted of all charges.  Russbacher was later framed in a petty crime scam and is serving a prison sentence at Terminal Island, CA. Both Donald Gregg and Robert Gates were Carter National Security Council members. They were in an ideal position to feed information to the Reagan/Bush campaign regarding Carter Administration efforts to win release of the Iranian hostages.  The Republicans did everything they could to thwart Carter’s efforts.  The Reagan camp created a task force headed by Richard Allen to make sure there would be no October Surprise.  Allen and Gregg would both be appointed National Security Advisers in the new Reagan Administration.  Robert Gates became Deputy Director of Casey’s CIA and was later CIA Director in the Bush Sr. Administration.
On the very day Ronald Reagan was inaugurated President, the 52 American hostages were released by their Iranian captors.  Jimmy Carter later told the Village Voice that he believed there had been a conspiracy by the Reagan/Bush campaign to delay the hostages’ release until after the 1980 election.  Carter also stated that he believed Donald Gregg was the mole who was helping Reagan/Bush from within his Administration.  Gregg was later named US Ambassador to South Korea by Bush Sr.
Carter’s closest National Security Adviser on the hostage crisis was Gary Sick.  Sick, who remained silent for nearly a decade, wrote an April 15, 1990 article in the New York Times, stating that after years of research on the topic, he too believed there had been a conspiracy.  Both Carter and Sick say Israel was deeply involved in the subsequent Iranian arms shipments which were part of the hostage release deal.
As soon as the hostages were released, shipments of US advanced weaponry began arriving in Iran.  Stibam Corporation of Milan, Italy facilitated the arms-for-oil deal between Israel and Iran which ended the hostage crisis.  Royal Dutch/Shell and BP delivered the oil to Israel, while the Enterprise delivered arms to the Ayatollah.  Banco Amrosiano financed the transaction. [4]  Stibam was a conduit for Turkish Gray Wolves heroin money and worked closely with the CIA in sending arms to Somalia, Taiwan and the Philippines.  Stibam’s offices were in the Banco Ambrosiano building in Milan. Both were connected to the Italian P-2 Freemason Lodge, which funds fascist terror networks worldwide. [5]
Quietly, David Rockefeller’s Chase Manhattan Bank released $10 billion in frozen Iranian assets which the bank had seized when its good friend the Shah had fallen.  Some of these funds went to the Shah’s sister Princess Ashraf, who used the money to finance projects being undertaken by CIA Director William Casey’s private intelligence network known as the Hardy Boys.
One such endeavor unfolded in Hong Kong, where in 1981 Hardy Boy John Shaheen set up the ill-fated Tetra Finance and Hong Kong Deposit & Guaranty, whose directors included a top lieutenant to UAE leader and BCCI owner Sheik Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahiyan, and a close associate of Saudi Intelligence Chief and BCCI laundryman Kamal Adham.  The $20 million it took to start the two Hong Kong banks came from Princess Ashraf.  She had been solicited for the funds by Cyrus Hashemi, who a year earlier had twice met with CIA Director Casey and others in Madrid.  His brother Jamshid had directed the Shah’s SAVAK secret police.
Another Casey Hardy Boy, Swiss businessman Itzak “Bruce” Rappaport, had close connections to National Bank of Oman CEO Qais al-Zawari.  Oman’s monarch Emir al-Qaboos had been given 100 acres of prime land near the Port of Karachi by the Pakistani government, ostensibly for his financial support of the CIA-sponsored Afghan mujahadeen.  Oman is a GCC member and Exxon stronghold.  The National Bank of Oman was owned by BCCI and was the main conduit for CIA/GCC aid to the Afghan mujahadeen.  BCCI had close relations with Oman-based Tetra Tech, run by CIA agent James Critchfield, and worked with Shaheen’s Tetra Finance in Hong Kong to finance Chinese government arms shipments to the mujahadeen.  Senator John Kerry’s Subcommittee on Terrorism, Narcotics and International Relations would later conclude that, “BCCI and the CIA have shaped Oman’s foreign policy”.
Rappaport was also close to the Saudi Gokal brothers who were BCCI’s biggest shippers.  Rappaport controlled accounts in Switzerland that had received $10 million from the Sultan of Brunei.  He owned Intermaritime Bank of Geneva and New York.  One Intermaritime Director is Alfred Hartman, a director at both BCCI and Banca Nacionale de Lavoro (BNL).  Hartman also ran BCCI Swiss affiliate,Banque de Commerce et de Placements.
Another of Casey’s Hardy Boys was James Guerin, who invented nuclear trigger technology, then delivered it to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in 1989, with help from BCCI.  Most of BNL’s illegal loans to Iraq went through BCCI, including one that paid for the Columbine Heads necessary to make the nuclear trigger.  There were over 3,000 telex lines between BNL and Iraqi government agencies.  BCCI sold the Russians the technical manual for Rockwell International’s Navstar Global Positioning System. Ten years after the fact, the US House of Representatives formed an October Surprise Task Force chaired by Indiana Democrat Lee Hamilton.  Hamilton is cozy with the US intelligence community.   Just as he’d done earlier while presiding over the Iran/Contrahearings, Hamilton torpedoed the October Surprise inquiry.  Both times he got help from Task Force Chief Counsel Larry Barcella, a BCCI defense lawyer close to the CIA.
Barcella had prosecuted Michael Townley, a goon of Chilean General Augusto Pinochet’s, who gunned down Chilean exile leader Orlando Letelier and Ronni Moffit of the Washington, DC progressive think tank, the Institute for Policy Studies. Barcella, in his prosecutorial role, kept the inquiry limited in scope and portrayed Townley as a lone gunman, acting independently from Pinochet’s brutal DINA secret police.  Barcella was also protecting soon-to-be President George Bush Sr. since Bush, then CIA Director, had known an attack on Letelier was coming, yet failed to inform the FBI.
Later Barcella took charge of the sham prosecution of Nugan Hand Bank courier and former head of Naval Task Force 157 Edwin Wilson.  Michael Ledeen, the US State Department’s “terrorism expert” at the time, told Barcella that Wilson’s Egyptian Air Transport (EATSCO) business partners Richard Secord and Theodore Shackley had get-out-of-jail-free cards.  So Barcella limited the scope of the trial, skewering Wilson as fall guy.  Michael Ledeen would resurface in 2006, arguing for the bombing of Iran.
In 1985 Barcella counseled the Pentagon in its quest to find legal loopholes to make private arms sales to the contras possible.  In 1987 he represented Oliver North at the Iran/Contra trial, assuring that North took the rap while Bush, Secord and the CIA were shielded.  In 1988 Barcella was hired by Clark Clifford and Robert Altman to defend them in a BCCI money laundering case.  They were both acquitted.  BCCI paid Barcella $159 million for his services. Nuclear Reactor Facility Evacuated In Austin

A research facility at the University of Texas in Austin that houses an active nuclear reactor has been evacuated after a man with a middle eastern accent claiming to be a member of Al-Qaeda warned authorities the campus had been booby-trapped with explosives.

“The university received a call from a male with a Middle Eastern accent claiming to have placed bombs all over campus.
He said he was with Al Qaeda and these bombs would go off in 90 minutes. President Powers was notified and it was decided to evacuate all of the buildings out of an abundance of caution,” reports We Are Austin.com.
UT’s JJ Pickle Research facility in North Austin was also evacuated. The facility houses a a fully functional nuclear reactor operated by the Nuclear Engineering Teaching Lab department.
The Pickle campus is protected by a guard shack that visitors have to pass through to enter the building.

As we highlighted earlier this year, the nuclear reactor was started in the 60′s and is hidden beneath the monolith of the LBJ Library.

There was no incident 90 minutes after the call was made, suggesting the bomb threat was a hoax.
However, it does coincide with attacks on U.S. embassies by radical Islamists as well as protests across the Middle East in response to a dubious film said to insult the Prophet Mohammad
A campus-wide email has been sent to all students, according to the Dallas News. “Evacuation due to threats on campus immediately evacuate all buildings get as far away from the buildings as possible. Further information to come,” the email reads.

Producer Of Anti-Islam Film Was Fed Snitch

L.A. man began cooperating with prosecutors after 2009 fraud bust

SEPTEMBER 14--In remarks stressing that the U.S. government had “absolutely nothing to do with” the anti-Islam film that has touched off violence in the Middle East, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton yesterday sought to quash Arab concerns that the “disgusting and reprehensible” movie was somehow produced or condoned by American officials.
However, Clinton’s attempt to distance the U.S. from “Innocence of Muslims”--and, by extension, its felonious producer--may be complicated by the revelation that Nakoula Basseley Nakoula became a government informant after his 2009 arrest for bank fraud, The Smoking Gun has learned.
Though many key documents from the U.S. District Court case remain sealed, a June 2010 sentencing transcript provides an account of Nakoulas’ cooperation with federal investigators in Los Angeles (and how his prison sentence was reduced as a result).
Nakoula, 55, was arrested in June 2009 for his role in a check-kiting ring that stole nearly $800,000 from six financial institutions by using stolen Social Security numbers and identities. Nakoula was named in a six-count felony indictment accusing him and unnamed “co-schemers” of perpetrating the bank fraud.
Denied bail, Nakoula, a married father of three, was locked up at the Metropolitan Detention Center in L.A. when he began cooperating with Justice Department lawyers and federal agents. During a series of debriefing sessions, Nakoula provided investigators with a detailed account of the fraud operation and fingered the man who allegedly headed the operation, according to comments made by his lawyer at sentencing.
Nakoula identified the ring’s leader as Eiad Salameh, a notorious fraudster who has been tracked for more than a decade by state and federal investigators. In his debriefings, Nakoula said he was recruited as a “runner” by Salameh, who pocketed the majority of money generated by the bank swindles, according to James Henderson, Nakoulas’ attorney.
As a result of Nakoula’s cooperation, Henderson told Judge Christina Snyder, “We all know what's gonna' happen. Salameh is gonna get arrested some day and based on the debriefing information turned over, he is gonna enter a guilty plea or if he doesn’t, then Mr. Nakoula is gonna be called on to testify at trial”.
It is unclear whether Salameh, whose whereabouts are unknown, has been charged in connection with the bank fraud. Salameh was named in a 2006 federal criminal complaint charging him with felony fraud. That complaint--filed under one of Salamehs’ many aliases--was dismissed last year by federal prosecutors. A court docket shows that no filings were made after the initial complaint, likely indicating that Salameh was never apprehended.
With an Arabic interpreter standing by, Nakoula told Snyder about his decision to inform. He explained, “I decided to cooperate with the government to retrieve some of these mistakes or damage happened. I want to cooperate with the government that they can catch with this other criminals who is their involvement.”
In return for Nakoulas’ cooperation, prosecutors provided Snyder with a letter noting that his substantial assistance to authorities warranted a sentence reduction.
Along with citing the government missive--known as a 5K1 letter--Henderson told Snyder that Nakoulas’ kin would suffer financially during his imprisonment since he was he family’s sole breadwinner. Henderson also reported that Nakoula suffered from various maladies, including Hepatitis C, a “serious diabetes problem,” and “prostate issues” for which he had undergone surgery. “He is on ten medications at this point,” added Henderson.
Nakoulas’ involvement in the fraud, Henderson stated, was caused by his need to support his family, including his elderly father. “At the time he did this, he was out of work in the gas station industry, which is what he's really familiar in this country,” said Henderson, adding, “and he was working swap meets for a few dollars every weekend trying to support his family.”
Snyder eventually ordered Nakoula to serve 21 months in prison to be followed by six months in a federal halfway house. The sentence was about a year less than the punishment sought in separate submissions by probation officials and federal prosecutors.
Before Snyder announced her sentence, Henderson referred to a character letter written by a friend of Nakoulas’ who offered to provide work for the convicted felon. The events of 9/11 were planned in part to forestall the signing into law of the NESARA Act, which was to happen in one of the World Trade Centers at 10:00 a.m.
The first plane struck the first tower around 9 a.m.

Now I happen to know very certainly that many people privately approved of my strong stand to return to real Apostolic Christianity. But does fear silence your tongue? A battle is going on in America between good and evil. The evil are bold. The good (too many) are too cowardly or else ashamed to stand up for Christ. The Christians still have the large numbers to control America, but if the evil will stand up and the good will flee for their lives from facing evil, who do you think is going to win America? Global Apocalypse Linked To French Alps Family Massacre

A chilling Federal Security Services (FSB) report on the 6 September massacre of British-Iraqi scientist Saad Al-Hilli and his family near Chevaline in the Haute-Savoie department of the Rhône-Alpes region of eastern France (bordering both Switzerland and Italy) circulating in the Kremlin today warns that these killings are “substantially linked” to a potentially imminent global apocalypse.

According to this report, Saad Al-Hilli [photo with death vehicle 2^nd left], his dentist wife Iqbal, his Swedish-Iraqi mother-in-law Suhaila, and French cyclist Sylvain Mollier were all executed with two bullets to the head from a single weapon indentified by French police as a 7.65mm sub-machinegun they said probably was a Czech-made Skorpion vz.61.

Surviving this massacre, this report continues, were Al-Hilli’s two daughters, seven-year-old Zaina (Zainab), who was savagely beaten and shot in the shoulder, and four-year-old Zeena who survived unharmed by hiding for hours under the legs of her dead mother. Western news media reports state that Zaina, who was awakened from a medically-induced coma this Sunday past, was returned to the UK yesterday.

As a top research scientist with Surrey Satellites Technology Limited (SSTL), this report says, Al-Hilli was put under surveillance by Britain’s Special Branch police forces in 2003 after the outbreak of war in Iraq, and as, also, confirmed by Philip Murphy, a neighbour of Al-Hilli in Claygate, Surrey, who was quoted as saying these internal UK spies used his driveway during the war to monitor Hilli's house, but which Whitehall sources denied to the Guardian News Service saying there was no sign of a UK intelligence service interest in Hilli: “He wasn't on their radar.”

This FSB report, however, states that Al-Hilli was, indeed, under surveillance by elements of the British Royal Air Force Police (RAFP) up to the final moments of this shocking massacre, one of whose agents, indentified as former RAF officer Brett Martin, was the first person to alert French authorities and stated that while he was on his daily cycle from his nearby holiday home, he first saw the Al-Hilli's seven-year-old daughter Zaina “stumbling around and moaning”.

A man named only as Philippe D by the French press said he and two friends were driving up the isolated Alpine track when they met Martin cycling down the hill. Speaking for the first time to France’s Le Parisien newspaper, Philippe said: “He tried to explain to me in broken French that something had happened further up the road” and then lead Philippe and his friends to the small woodland parking area where Saad al-Hilli, 50, wife Iqbal, 47, her mother Suhaila, 74, and French cyclist Sylvain Mollier, 45, were all shot dead.

To why Al-Hilli and his family fled from Britain without notice to anyone, this report continues, was his planning on getting to Moscow to with secret documents he had taken from his employer SSTL he described to his “contact” as being “the most damaging for our world anyone has ever seen”.

Important to note, this report says, is that the “contact” being used by Al-Hilli to secret himself and his family to Moscow, where they would be protected, was not a member of any Russian intelligence service, but was a “known” intermediary who had worked with Kremlin officers in the past.

This FSB account is, apparently, supported by two Dutch tourists staying at the campsite Al-Hilli and his family were, also, in and who said: “We were told they planned to stay all week but they left suddenly after two days. The father left the site in his car alone four or five times each day. He went out for 20 or 30 minutes each time. The first time we thought he was going to the shops but it was very odd to go out so often.” The Dutch pair added that although nobody visited the family, they did notice an unusually smartly dressed man at the campsite who appeared “to come from the Balkans.”

In describing the massacre itself, this FSB report states that Al-Hilli’s vehicle was stopped by an unknown number of gunman who then dragged his seven-year-old daughter Zaina from it and began beating her while demanding information from Al Hilli on the whereabouts of the secret documents he had in his possession. Once that information was obtained, this report continues, Zaina was thrown to the ground and shot with the bullet missing her head by mere millimeters and wounding her in the shoulder, after which the remaining victims were summarily executed, including the French cyclist who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.  

Interesting to note are reports in the British press stating that Al-Hilli’s home in Claygate had to be searched by an Army bomb squad before it could be entered into by the police, but who officials said afterwards nothing had been found.

To the secret information Al-Hilli was attempting to get to Moscow, this FSB report says, was directly related to the research he did for Sir Martin Sweeting, the Executive Chairman and founder of SSTL, who pioneered the concept of rapid-response, low-cost and highly-capable small satellites utilizing modern terrestrial COTS devices to “change the economics of space”.

SSTL scientists, including Al-Hilli, working with their counterparts at National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, and the University of Sannio, Italy, in 2009 successfully exploited signals of opportunity from GPS satellites to measure the directional roughness of the sea surface from space, and even more importantly, this FSB report says, were able to gauge the speed of how fast our Earth’s poles were moving.

So important was this breakthrough that this past week (12 September) the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Space Systems award for the Disaster Monitoring Constellation (DMC) was given to SSTL and Sir Martin Sweeting for “being an unprecedented example of international cooperation in the application of space systems to the mitigation of human suffering.”

Most critical to note, however, this FSB report warns, is that data gained from SSTL’s disaster monitoring multi-satellite system was used by the US to alter the dramatic shifting of our Earth’s poles, and as we can read, in part, from one report in this happening:

“The NOAA National Geophysical Data Center has updated (revised – massaged) their magnetic north pole-shift positional data and has projected the location of the pole through 2015. The pole shift, if you will, continues to race along in the same direction since it dramatically accelerated back in the mid 1990′s. But…

NOAA made some significant and apparently linear changes to the pole location data going back to the years 2001 through 2010. The most noticeable result of the changes that they made was an overall linear slow down of the shift during the past decade, although still currently high at 30 miles per year. They have projected positional data through 2015 and have slowed the pace of movement each subsequent year from 30 miles (2012) to 24 miles (2015).

No apparent reason for the change was listed. A 10 year change nonetheless! Given the fact that they suddenly changed their previously posted data of the previous decade to indicate a slower pole-shift progression, they are now able to project a slowing trend through 2015. If it were not for changing their own data, they would not have been able to project this trend through 2015. It is beginning to look like the USGS, who when they change their earthquake magnitude numbers, they always (95% of the time) revise them downward. The revisions made are always in a ‘less alarming’ direction.”

To what the exact contents of the secret documents Al-Hilli had in his possession were this report does not speculate on, other than to note that they were of such proportion to not only have this honored scientist sacrifice his and his families life to release them to the world, and, also, of such fear to the West they cared not whom they killed to protect them, even little children.
