emergency room, an old lady was brought in very sick and in fact near death. I did my usual workup and evaluation and attempted to administer life saving treatment. It was my plan to admit this woman to the hospital. I found out a little later that this same woman had been a patient here just slightly more than 2 weeks ago with a DIFFERENT DIAGNOSIS. I was told that if this woman was admitted, the hospital would not be paid.
The new Medicare rule now is that if the same Medicare patient is re-admitted to the hospital within 30 days, the hospital will not be paid. When they first started this nonsense they said this only applied to patients with the same diagnosis. Now they have "expanded" the rule to include re-admissions for any reason. So if you're in the hospital for pneumonia, and 3 weeks later, you break your leg.......too bad. Medicare will not pay the hospital to fix your leg.

It was, unfortunately, no surprise when the Obama Administration selected Salam Al-Marayati to join the U.S. delegation at a human rights conference being held in Warsaw by the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). No surprise, because Marayati, the director of the Islamist Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), had already been dispatched by the Obama Administration in 2010 to speak on human rights on behalf of the U.S. to UNESCO in Paris and at the U.S. mission to the United Nations in Geneva. Yet, the bill of particulars against Marayati’s appointment to the delegation is large and, indeed, had resulted in 1999 in Marayati’s appointment to a Congressional committee on terrorism being actually rescinded, once his record of extremism to that date had been publicized by the ZOA.
In 1993, Marayati called Israel’s creation a “crime” which he vowed to “work to overturn.” In 1996, following the killing of a Palestinian terrorist, Muhammad Hamida, as he chanted ‘Alahu Akbar (‘Allah is Great’) and carried out an attack in Jerusalem that killed one Israeli civilian and injured 23 others, Marayati didn’t deplore Hamida’s act of terror – he deplored the killing of Hamida as a “provocative act” and demanded the extradition to America of those who had killed him “to be tried in a U.S. court on terrorism charges.”
In 1997, providing anticipatory defense for Islamist terrorist assaults on Americans, Marayati claimed that the Clinton Administration was in the pocket of Israel and pondered “whether the American people are aware of and ready for the consequences.” In 1998, following the slaughter of hundreds in the al-Qaeda bombings of U.S. embassies in east Africa, Marayati condemned military strikes launched upon al-Qaeda by the Clinton Administration as “illegal, immoral and illogical.” The same year, he defended the French Holocaust denier, Roger Garaudy, describing his prosecution and fining in France as “persecution of his right to express an opinion.” Marayati has also complained of “having the Holocaust shoved down [his] throat.”
In 2001, Marayati provided a crude apologia for Palestinian terrorism by claiming that Jews murdered by Palestinians were “the expected bitter result of [Israel's] reckless policy.” Following the 9/11 attacks, he argued that Israel had carried out this slaughter of thousands of Americans: “I think we should put the state of Israel on the suspect list, because I think this [the 9/11 attacks] diverts attention from what’s happening in the Palestinian territories so that they can go on with their aggression and occupation and apartheid policies.”
If all this isn’t enough, Marayati has openly supported the Lebanese Shia terrorist group, Hizballah, and defended members of the Palestinian terrorist group, Hamas, which calls in it Charter for the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews, who had been found guilty of funneling money to terrorists.
Worse still, the Obama Administration has exhibited a pattern of appointing Muslim extremists and their apologists to sensitive posts: Rashad Hussein, now U.S. envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, who has denounced the prosecution of a Florida professor who was later found to have been illegally funding the terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad; Dalia Mogahed, adviser in the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, who has been a promoter-apologist of Islamist groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA); and Mohamed Elibiary, a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council, who has spoken in praise of Ayatollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamist Iranian republic, and is now believed to have leaked sensitive intelligence documents; to name only three.
That Marayati and his ilk influence policy is undeniable. One example: in October 2011, following a threatened cut-off in cooperation between American Muslims and the FBI – cooperation Marayati has publicly opposed in any case since at least 2005 – Deputy Attorney-General James Cole announced that the Obama administration was recalling all training materials used for law enforcement and national security agencies in order to eliminate all references to Islam. Marayatialso demanded the creation of an inter-agency task force to prepare new manuals.
With this record, Marayati’s latest appointment to the U.S. delegation to the OSCEhuman rights conference is a further act of appeasement that can only call into question the Obama Administration’s commitment to combating Islamist extremists.
Indeed, in the Administration’s refusal to even refer to Islamist extremists and its tendency to refer to terrorist acts perpetrated by Islamists as ‘man-made disasters,’ we see a systemic blindness to a clear and present danger.

Ok folks, so here is some info I feel is relevant to get out. I am part of small intel gathering group of 4 people. (and NO this does NOT include people like Drake) About an hour and a half ago, 1 of the people in my group received an urgent message from a military source in NC stating simply this: Get to your FOOD and WEAPONS right now! Upon hearing this, a 2nd person in my group called a separate HIGH level military source, and this source confirmed the exact same message and also went further to say that this message was in fact just put out to the Militias. I am not a Drake follower or advocator, but interestingly enough we were also able to confirm 45 minutes later that Drake had received the exact same message from a different source of his own. So it would seem that in fact he exact SAME message is being circulated out to various contacts and to Militia groups. I would welcome anyone whom has Militia or Military contacts to confirm the same for further credibility. I have posted this alert on my site. Ok folks, so here is some info I feel is relevant to get out. I am part of small intel gathering group of 4 people. (and NO this does NOT include people like Drake) About an hour and a half ago, 1 of the people in my group received an urgent message from a military source in NC stating simply this: Get to your FOOD and WEAPONS right now! Upon hearing this, a 2nd person in my group called a separate HIGH level military source, and this source confirmed the exact same message and also went further to say that this message was in fact just put out to the Militias. I am not a Drake follower or advocator, but interestingly enough we were also able to confirm 45 minutes later that Drake had received the exact same message from a different source of his own. So it would seem that in fact he exact SAME message is being circulated out to various contacts and to Militia groups. I would welcome anyone whom has Militia or Military contacts to confirm the same for further credibility. I have posted this alert on my site. A small British company has produced the first "petrol from air" using a revolutionary technology that promises to solve the energy crisis as well as helping to curb global warming by removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
"We've taken carbon dioxide from air and hydrogen from water and turned these elements into petrol," said Peter Harrison, the company's chief executive, who revealed the breakthrough at a conference at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in London.
"There's nobody else doing it in this country or indeed overseas as far as we know. It looks and smells like petrol but it's a much cleaner and clearer product than petrol derived from fossil oil," Mr Harrison told The Independent.
"We don't have any of the additives and nasty bits found in conventional petrol, and yet our fuel can be used in existing engines," he said.

According to Rev. Kevin Annett and the Tribunal website, Monday October 15, 2012, “marks the formal online convening of the five sworn judges of our Court, from Canada, the United States and Belgium. They are joined by fifty-eight sworn citizen jurors from Canada, the USA, Ireland, England, Holland, Italy and Australia, who have been prepared to receive the evidence in the first of five cases in the Docket of our Court.
“This first case involves the evidence that the government and churches of Canada entered into a criminal conspiracy to commit genocide and other crimes against indigenous people and their children for over a century; and that such crimes were committed by the defendants and their organizations, and continue today.
“Thirty two officers of church and state have been issued Public Summonses by our Court to reply to these charges, and only one of them, John Milloy, has replied. Neither Mr. Milloy nor any of the other summoned parties have contested or denied the charges made against them, including Pope Benedict, Queen Elizabeth and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Our Prosecutor's Office has therefore filed a motion with the Court that a guilty plea be entered on behalf of all of the defendants named in our Summonses, in their absence, since they do not contest or deny the charges made against them.”

Tonight was the annual Alfred E. Smith Dinner where the
candidates take a humorous break from the campaign trail. But I gotta say, I
was pleasantly surprised at how funny Romney was as he delivered line after
line, mostly about the president. In fact he landed some pretty hard blows on
the president, namely one where in using the Sesame Street reference he said
that President Obama’s remarks “are brought to you by the letter O and the
number 16 Trillion.” Ouch! And there’s a lot more where that came from.
My bet is that even though it was all in good fun, the left is going to hate it and will try and make something out of it. Maybe they’ll put all the jokes they didn’t like in a binder or something. Watch: |
