We are excited to report that food freedom has won out in South Carolina, where a factory farm front group recently tried, but failed, to stamp out longstanding state laws that recognize the freedom of individuals to buy and sell raw milk throughout the Palmetto State. And all of you, our valued readers, helped make this possible by calling and emailing the South Carolina Farm Bureau (SCFB) in the eleventh hour and urging the group to oppose this attempted assault on an all-natural food product. In case you missed it, the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), a national nonprofit group that purports to represent the interests of American farms, recently tried to convince South Carolina officials to quietly scrap the state’s freedom-loving regulatory paradigm for raw milk sales. In its place, AFBF wanted its own standardized policy of prohibition, which erroneously views raw milk as dangerous, to be implemented as law in South Carolina against the will of the people. It just so happens that South Carolina is one of the few states in the southeastern United States that continues to recognize the freedom of its residents to buy and sell raw milk at the retail level. Nearby North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, on the other hand, prohibit the retail sale of raw milk, and only allow it to be sold as pet food, making South Carolina a food freedom territory surrounded by Big Brother tyranny. Opposing tyranny is not a fruitless endeavor Once the food freedom community got wind of AFBF’s machinations; however, we collectively banded together to vehemently oppose them, a move that in this case resulted in a monumental victory. According to the latest information we have received, David Winkles, Jr., head of SCFB, has decided to reject AFBF’s proposals, and uphold the freedom of South Carolinians to buy and sell raw milk. And now it is our turn to thank him for respecting food freedom in his state. “In a recent meeting to discuss policy regarding raw milk, South Carolina Farm Bureau (SCFB), under the leadership of President David Winkles, has made decisions that SCFB will continue its historic position of not opposing current South Carolina law that allows the sale of regulated raw milk for human consumption,” explains an update issued by a prominent South Carolina dairy farm. Christopher Story Story had outright called U.S. law enforcement officials 'feckless' and a few other choice expletives in his highly critical reports before he was suddenly listed dead. Some source(s) claim he was a victim of biological assassination, though his website listed it as died peacefully at home. He may have "died peacefully at home", but from what? George de Mohrenschildt De Mohrenschildt had testified against J. Edgar Hoover, then FBI Director that Hoover had knowledge that the JFK Assassination would take place, accused Hoover of planning it, and linked the FBI Division Five assassination-espionage outfit to the JFK Assassination. In 1977 George was found suicided of shotgun blast and reportedly had George H. W. Bush's telephone number and/or information on him at the time of death. Recently, a few mouthpieces for the Council on Foreign Relations wrote an insane piece for Bloomberg Business, suggesting that higher gas taxes would lift the economy and create jobs.  They have provided “economic models”, which reference and take information from a totally different time in history that cannot possibly be compared to today’s economic environment.

Furthermore, the actions suggested by the authors of this article would actually crush the economy, or at least crush the vast majority of the people who participate in the economy.  Higher gas taxes would obviously raise gas prices for everyone, and the article even alludes to that fact by citing “suppressing demand” as a primary goal.

New campaign seeks to treat Israeli tax evaders like terrorists

In the first two days of last week’s public campaign urging Israelis to turn in tax cheaters, more than 1,000 calls came in, Israel Tax Authority chief Doron Arbely said yesterday.
The launch of an ad campaign starring actor Nati Ravitz signaled the start of a war against the underground economy – or at least the declaration of war. Ravitz urges viewers to call the “justice hot line” and report tax evaders. In 2011 it was comedian Eli Yatzpan who presented a campaign similar to the Israel Tax Authority’s “snitch” program, but since then the government deficit has soared to NIS 40 billion and it seems the taxman is more anxious than ever to receive your call.
“Tax evasion is everyone’s problem,” states the ad slogan. The Israeli public may not be fond of snitches, but the phones haven’t stopped ringing since the campaign took to the air.

Egyptians turn to black market for hard currency

The pound’s decline has been reflected in a drop in Egypt’s foreign reserves, which fell to $13.6 billion at the end of January – below the $15 billion level needed to cover three months’ imports. The reserves stood at $36 billion on the eve of the uprising against Mubarak.

Complicating a business climate already weighed down by political unrest, some importers say they are having to source their foreign exchange needs from what they call the parallel or open market.

One senior executive at an Egyptian company that imports goods from abroad said companies were able to source their dollar needs from the black market, but forecast that supply would tighten further in the coming weeks.

Infowars Analysis: This is actually not the first time Americans have been targeted with surveillance drones.

In 2011, police used a Predator surveillance drone against a family in North Dakota who were accused of stealing six cows. If Dorner is targeted by an armed drone, that would be a first domestically.

Police plan to use spy drones in the hunt for a Rambo-style ex-soldier and policeman who has murdered three people and vowed to kill again.
They believe burly, heavily-armed Christopher Dorner is holed-up in the wilderness of California’s snow-capped San Bernardino mountains 80 miles east of Los Angeles.

The burnt-out shell of his pick-up truck was discovered in the nearby resort of Big Bear, where residents and tourists have been warned to stay indoors as the search continues.

Ron Paul Files Request to Seize RonPaul.com Website

Retired Congressman Ron Paul is no longer a public figure and, now that he’s back in the free market, has filed a complaint with the World Intellectual Property Organization, an agency of the United Nations, against web sites using his name to promote goods, services and newsletters.
According to the complaint, the Libertarian minded former Congressman claims that certain websites named in the filing (RonPaul.com and RonPaul.org) are using his trademarks for the purpose of profit, and not for the dissemination of information deemed as “fair use”:
The words “Ron Paul” have become synonymous with Dr. Paul’s political writings and discourse.
Ron Paul is the owner of the RON PAUL U.S. trademark. Ron Paul has acquired rights in the mark by virtue of its use Within the United States, including a large volume of  sales of Dr. Pauls books.
The RON PAUL mark has achieved a secondary meaning associated with Ron Paul sufficient to establish common law trademark rights. RON PAUL has long been associated with Dr. Pauls books, articles, public appearances, and political commentary.
Respondents clearly are using RonPaul.com and RonPaul.org commercially.

When a respondent profits from a domain name, it is not making legitimate noncommercial or fair use of the domain name.

The aforementioned web sites became ground zero for the Ron Paul Revolution campaign, as well as grassroots organizers for the Paul Presidential campaign, and were also responsible, according to the owners of RonPaul.com, for raising millions of dollars in campaign donations during the 2008 and 2012 Presidential elections.

In response to the claims filed by Paul, the defendants in the trademark case have posted the following synopsis of their version of events at the web site RonPaul.com:

Earlier today, Ron Paul filed an international UDRP complaint againstRonPaul.com and RonPaul.org with WIPO, a global governing body that is an agency of the United Nations.

The complaint calls on the agency to expropriate the two domain names from his supporters without compensation and hand them over to Ron Paul.

On May 1st, 2008 we launched a grassroots website at RonPaul.com that became one of the most popular resources dedicated exclusively to Ron Paul and his ideas.
Like thousands of fellow Ron Paul supporters, we put our lives on hold and invested 5 years of hard work into Ron Paul, RonPaul.com and Ron Paul 2012. Looking back, we are very happy with what we were able to achieve with unlimited enthusiasm and limited financial resources.

Last month, after Ron Paul expressed regret on the Alex Jones show over not owning RonPaul.com (in an interview titled “Ron Paul: The Internet Is Our Last Chance to Awaken America“), dozens of supporters urged us to contact Ron Paul to work out a deal.

We sent Ron Paul the following respectful offer [View/Download PDF File], explaining that we’d prefer to keep RonPaul.com due to reasons explained in our letter.

At the same time we offered him RonPaul.org as a free giftso we could keep usingRonPaul.com and he wouldn’t have to use something like RonPaulsHomePage.com.

Claims that we tried to sell Ron Paul “his name” for $250k or even $800k are completely untrue, and there is little doubt that our mailing list would have enabled Ron Paul to raise several million dollars for the liberty movement this year. It would have been a win/win/win situation for everyone involved.
Instead of responding to our offer, making a counter offer, or even accepting our FREE gift of RonPaul.org, Ron Paul went to the United Nations and is trying to use its legal process related to domain name disputes to actively deport us from our domain names without compensation.
Below is a copy of Ron Paul’s complaint and our original offer to Ron Paul. We have 20 days to prepare a response and we are tentatively looking for a lawyer to represent us in this case.
Hopefully it won’t have to come to that!

What in the world is going on? Earlier this week we were hit in the face by Ron Paul’s entirely out-of-character anti-Chris Kyle tweet, and now Ron Paul, the Internet grassroots candidate, who was at the right place at the right time to lead the rEVOLution, attacks his own grassroots supporters through an agency of the United Nations to deport them from their own domain names after 5 years of nothing but unlimited, unconditional support on our part?

Back in 2007 we put our lives on hold for you, Ron, and we invested close to 10,000 hours of tears, sweat and hard work into this site at great personal sacrifice. We helped raise millions of dollars for you, we spread your message of liberty as far and wide as we possibly could, and we went out of our way to defend you against the unjustified attacks by your opponents.

The question now becomes whether the authors of the website RonPaul.com and its sister site RonPaul.org are its rightful owners after having spent four years developing its content, or, whether Ron Paul’s trademarks and name take precedence.
It’s an interesting case that focuses on property rights, a key element of Libertarianism.
Both parties believe they are in the right.

Massive Bomb Detonates Inside of Key Iranian Nuke Manufacturing Facility

Unconfirmed reports indicate that a massive explosion has destroyed Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility.
Preliminary investigations indicate that whatever is responsible for the damage occurred deep within the facility, which is known for containing some 2,700 centrifuges for the processing of uranium.

Last week, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, predicted that a nuclear war with Iran may be imminent as the country continues to reject U.S. and U.N. sanctions targeting their nuclear program.

Kissinger was quoted as saying that governments will “come to a determination of how to react, or the consequences of non-reaction… [in] a few years.”
If the reports of a bomb blast rocking Fordow are accurate, then it looks as if Western governments, likely either Israel and/or the United States, have reacted by preemptively striking Iranian nuclear facilities:
An explosion deep within Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility has destroyed much of the installation and trapped about 240 personnel deep underground, according to a former intelligence officer of the Islamic regime.

The level of enrichment has been a major concern to Israeli officials, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu repeatedly has warned about the 20-percent enriched stockpile.
The explosion occurred Monday, the day before Israeli elections weakened Netanyahu’s political control.
Iran, to avoid alarm, had converted part of the stockpile to fuel plates for use in the Tehran Research Reactor. However, days after the recent failed talks with the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iranian officials announced the enrichment process will not stop even “for a moment.”

Bernanke is allowing crooked U.S. banks to write naked put options on the Japanese yen as to prop up the worthless euro currency denominated derivative holdings of gangster U.S. banks aka Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and the Saudi owned Citibank.

They bid farewell to their Illinois friends with the following letter.   Dear friends, As we leave Illinois for good, I wanted to say goodbye and wish all of you well. I am a lifelong son of the heartland and proud of "The Land of Lincoln " state.   After 60 years, I leave Illinois with a heavy heart. But enough is enough. The leaders of Illinois refuse to see we can't continue going in the direction we are and expect people who have options to stay here.   I remember when Illinois had 25 congressmen.   In 2012 we have 18. Compared to the rest of the country we have lost 1/4th of our population. Don't blame the weather, because most of us love the 4 beautiful seasons of Illinois .   Illinois just sold still more bonds, and our credit rating is so bad we pay higher interest rates than junk bonds. Junk Bonds!   Illinois is ranked: * 50th for fiscal policy * 47th in job creation * 1st in unfunded pension liabilities * 2nd largest budget deficit * 1st in failing schools * 1st in bonded indebtedness * Highest sales tax in the nation * Most judges indicted (Operations Greylord and Gambat)   Five of our last 9 elected governors have been indicted. That is more than the other 49 states added together!   Then add 32 Chicago Aldermen and (according to the Chicago Tribune) over 1,000 state and municipal employees indicted.   The corruption tax is a real cost of doing business. We are the butt of jokes for stand-up comics. We live in the most corrupt big city, in the most corrupt big county, in the most corrupt state in America . I am sick and tired of subsidizing crooks.   A day rarely passes without an article about the corruption and incompetence. Chicago even got caught rigging the tests to hire policemen and firemen!   Our Crook County corporate tax system is intentionally corrupt. The Democrat State Chairman, who is also the Speaker of the Illinois House (Speaker Mike Madigan), and the most senior alderman in Chicago, each make well over a million dollars a year putting the fix in for their clients tax assessments.   Cook County 's property tax system is a disaster: The assessed value of our Chicago home was 50% higher than the sale price.   Our home value is down 40%, our property taxes are up 20%, and our local schools have still another referendum on the ballot to increase taxes more than 20% next year.   The Illinois system is unfair and incompetent. In the Hill Country of Texas (near Austin and San Antonio ) we bought a gracious home on almost 2 acres with a swimming pool. It is new, will cost us around 40% of what our home in Wilmette just sold for, and the property taxes are a third of what they are here.   We are moving to Texas where there is no income tax, while Illinois just went up 67%.   Texas sales tax is half of ours, which is the highest in the nation.   Southern states are supportive of job producers, taxpayers and folks who offer opportunities to their residents.   Illinois shakes them down for every penny that can be extorted from them. I could go on, but enough is enough.   I feel as if we are standing on the deck of the Titanic and I can see the icebergs right in front of us.   I will miss our friends a great deal. I have called Illinois home for essentially my entire life. But it is time to go where there is honest, competent, and cost effective government.   We have chosen to vote with our feet and our wallets.   Our best wishes to all of you.
