Israeli Anthrax Developer Resigns

Dr. Avigdor Shafferman, Director of the Israel Institute for Biological Research (IIBR) since 1995, resigned on April 4, 2013. He sent a letter to the institute workers in which he explained: “In the last two years, the institute development tendencies changed. In 2013, I was forced to reduce the budget in over 4%, including the firing of workers. Two weeks ago, we were asked to prepare ourselves to another reduction in the budget, which will have deep repercussions. I cannot be part of this.” The real reason for the unprecedented step was different.
Shafferman has a PhD in Physical Chemistry (not Chemical Physics) from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He joined the IIB in 1983, establishing the Molecular Genetics Department there. Later on, he became Head of the Biology Directorate, Manager of Scientific Research, and finally Director of the Institute. IIBR has approximately 350 workers, 150 of them scientists; a large part of it is owned by Japanese pharmaceutical companies.
IIBR and Weapons
One of the IIBR strongest fields is the development of nerve toxins. On 4 October 1992, El Al Flight 1862, a Boeing 747 cargo plane crashed into the Groeneveen and Klein-Kruitberg flats in the Bijlmermeer neighborhood of Amsterdam. Many people died and were injured. The cargo included over 280 kilograms of depleted uranium, used for certain types of missiles, and 190 liters of dimethyl methylphosphonate, which is used in the synthesis of Sarin nerve gas. The owner of the latter was the IIB. The IDF possesses weapons containing Sarin.
On September 25, 1997, Khaled Mashal, a prominent leader of the Hamas, was the target of an assassination attempt carried out by the Israeli Mossad under orders of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who at this occasion became a proven bio-terrorist. Two Mossad agents carrying Canadian passports entered Jordan and injected Mashal with an unknown nerve toxin. A few days later, Netanyahu surrendered to international pressure and provided the antidote. Toxin and antidote were developed at the IIB.
Shafferman has a different field of expertise: anthrax. How can a physical chemist become an expert on a biological weapon? The point is simple, the infection with anthrax is not a biological problem. The disease is caused by bacillus anthracis, a bacteria that can form dormant endospores capable to survive in harsh conditions for centuries. The problem in its transformation into a weapon belongs to a field known as “surface treatment;” physical chemistry is the relevant discipline. The terrorist-scientist task is to make the weapon safe enough to be transported while assuring its proper dispersion and activity. In other words, the 2001 anthrax attacks on the USA were unlikely to be prepared by terrorists. A government was behind them.

IIBR Develops Anthrax
Israel has a horrific history of non-consensual experiments on humans, which cross the line of criminal practices (see Israel’s Eugenics Program: Dr. Mengele Blues and State of Israel Forced the Sterilization of Ethiopian Women). For its anthrax program, the State of Israel used unaware IDF soldiers.
Between 1998 and 2006, the IIBR ran together with the IDF Medical Corps a terror-experiment called Omer Two (chillingly, “omer” means “harvest”). 716 soldiers were infected with anthrax and given untested vaccines. Over 200 of them complained of multi-symptom illnesses allegedly associated with the vaccine. The Defense Ministry denied them disability benefits. In court, it was disclosed that they haven’t been told the details of the experiment they have been lured into. The High Court forced Dr Shafferman to disclose this neo-Nazi horror.

Israeli Bio-Terrorism
IIBR is an unusual institution. It is under the direct jurisdiction of the Prime Minister’s Office and under the close watch of the Director of Security of the Defense Establishment (DSDE, known as Malmab in Hebrew) in the Ministry of Defense. It is classified “Top Secret.” Thus, it is the target of espionage efforts. Former IIBR Deputy Director Abraham Marcus (Marek) Klingberg was detained in 1983 for spying for the Soviet Union; interestingly, before that he passed lie detector tests. Yet, he got medals from Mother Russia. Shafferman has a similar history, although he is not defined as a “spy.”
In 2007, an investigation against him was opened by the DSDE. In his academic roles, Shafferman reached universities in the USA and Canada. He created contacts with two companies related to anthrax research, PharmAthene and Nexia Biotechnologies. He became scientific consultant of both companies. Shafferman is not loved by the IIBR workers, who referred to him as the “Dictator-Director.” In August 2012, he named Adi Keren, head of the IIBR workers union, “Goebbels,” after the Nazi propaganda Minister and caused mayhem. This was the public peak of an ongoing conflict. His workers had complained anonymously about Shafferman’s secret consultancy job with the North-American companies. The companies even gave Shafferman options on their shares. The DSDE defined Shafferman actions as having “contradicting interests.” In other words, Shafferman benefitted by unofficially selling the IIBR secrets. In 2005, Canadian Nexia sold one of its divisions to American PharmAthene, and formally mentioned Shafferman as part of its scientific board. He couldn’t deny.
This was far more sensitive than the Klinberg Affair. This time, the IIBR Director was involved in the transfer of bio-terror technologies that Israel is not supposed to have or to work on. The DSDE gave him a slow death-kiss. The IIBR workers union publicly protested against him (see picture above); this is unthinkable unless they knew that the DSDE won’t oppose. Moreover, he was limited in his capability to solve the inner problems. By reducing the institution budget, the State assured he won’t solve the apparent labor conflict. On April 4, he renounced. The State of Israel won’t renounce to its Bio-Terrorist Weapons of Mass Destruction; there are by far more solid proofs of Israel possessing WMD than there were against Iraq. Will the USA attack Israel as it did Iraq?

This week three banks, ING, Rabo and SNS, simultaneously suffered major computer malfunctions, leading to a temporary closure of their on-line facilities. Their problems were ‘unrelated’. It is completely unprecedented. The chances of a coincidence are close to zero. For years some in the blogosphere have speculated that ‘computer problems’ might be a good excuse for the Money Power to call a bank holiday and ‘reorganize’ their system. This looks like a drill.

ING’s problems were the worst, it’s off-line again today. ING is one of the biggest banks in Europe with a trillion plus balance and one of the living dead. It’s a zombie bank, propped up with massive credit lines from the ECB and handouts and guarantees from the Dutch taxpayer. It has 40 billion of Spanish debt on its books and it needs to write off untold billions, maybe as much as hundreds of billions, from its commercial real estate portfolio. Obviously this would vaporize the Dutch economy over night, should it have to bail out ING.

The Dutch economy is one of the worst in the world in terms of debt. All the nonsense about ‘lazy Greeks’ and ‘thrifty and frugal Dutch’ is just that: complete baloney. We have a usurious debt based monetary system. However hard one works, eternally growing debt and interest charges are inevitable, it has nothing to do with character.

Meanwhile, the economy is being destroyed with ridiculous austerity, 45 billion was taken out of the budget over the last two years. The Government loses 80 cents in income due to falling aggregate demand in the economy for every euro it takes out of the economy through taxation or austerity. Same thing that destroyed Southern Europe. It’s incredible that this kind of insanity can happen in the modern age.

Considering the situation in Cyprus and depositors now knowing they are fair game, it seems clear that the Money Power is organizing a bank run to further the depression it wants so badly.

However unpleasant it is to be on the same side as these vultures in this case, the advice remains the same: get your money out of the bank now. The advice is now not just correct because of moral imperative, it is becoming a matter of personal financial survival. True, it is becoming harder and harder to find safe havens, but the bank is absolutely not one of those, that’s for sure.

Why is the Money Power busting its own banks? They don’t really care: all the major banks own each other. 100% market share remains guaranteed, even if some of them drop. Also, the smaller banks go first and they are gobbled up by the big boys, often with ECB/Fed/taxpayer financial support. So this crunch is also a major consolidation effort by the Money Power. Busting the banks is a good way to plausibly sell the many that the good days are over.

So what does this computer malfunction mean? It’s an exercise. And probably not for Holland itself. The Dutch economy is midsized and a good place for a drill for something bigger. Like the US, which is the real target here. Two weeks ago, Chase Manhattan had some problems too: accounts were suddenly drained and set to zero. Interestingly, this was also going on with ING.

The US has been coasting relatively unscathed through the crunch up to now. Because the Fed printed like crazy, all in all some 16 trillion were lent out to its buddy insider banks worldwide to prop up their balances. This money never enters the real economy, because it used as capital to replace losses to the Mortgage Backed Securities scam that popped in 2008. Hence no inflation.

But this is coming to an end and in the next round of the crunch something major is going to go down.

Conclusion
We have the funniest stockmarket boom ever, bankers resigning all over the place, Cyprus, and now this.

Something’s on. And it’s big.

Michelle Obama referred to herself as a "busy, single mother" in a TV interview on Thursday before quickly correcting herself.

The first lady made the remark in an interview with WCAX, the CBS affiliate in Burlington, Vt., while discussing her healthy eating program, Let's Move!, but clarified immediately.

"I shouldn't say single — as a busy mother — sometimes when you've got the husband who's president, it can feel a little single but he's here," she said.
“But as a busy, working mom, and before coming to the White House, I was in that position, you know, as well — working, driving kids to practice, not having enough time to shop or cook, not having the energy,” she added. "Resources weren't the issue but time and energy is key."
Obama conducted the interview at the White House on Thursday as part of the annual garden planting ceremony. Students from a school in Burlington took part in the event.

Shot down by the Memphis PD’s top sharpshooter – with backup by US Army snipers on a nearby rooftop

Before scoffing at this headline, you should know that in 1999, in Memphis, Tennessee, more than three decades after MLK’s death, a jury found local, state, and federal government agencies guilty of conspiring to assassinate the Nobel Peace Prize winner and civil rights leader.
The same media you would expect to cover such a monumental decision was absent at the trial, because those news organizations were part of that conspiracy. William F. Pepper, who was James Earl Ray’s first attorney, called over 70 witnesses to the stand to testify on every aspect of the assassination. The panel, which consisted of an even mix of both black and white jurors, took only an hour of deliberation to find Loyd Jowers and other defendants guilty. It really isn’t that radical a thing to expect this government to kill someone who threatened their authority and had the power to organize millions to protest it. When MLK was killed on April 4, 1968, he was speaking to sanitation workers in Memphis, who were organizing to fight poverty wages and ruthless working conditions. He was an outspoken critic of the government’s war in Vietnam, and his power to organize threatened the moneyed corporate interests who were profiting from the war. At the time of his death, he was gearing up for the Poor People’s Campaign, an effort to get people to camp out on the National Mall to demand anti-poverty legislation – essentially the first inception of the Occupy Wall Street movement. The government perceived him as a threat, and had him killed. James Earl Ray was the designated fall guy, and a complicit media, taking its cues from a government in fear of MLK, helped sell the “official” story of the assassination. Here’s how they did it.
The Setup
The defendant in the 1999 civil trial, Loyd Jowers, had been a Memphis PD officer in the 1940s. He owned a restaurant called Jim’s Grill, a staging ground to orchestrate MLK’s assassination underneath the rooming house where the corporate media alleges James Earl Ray shot Dr. King. During the trial, William Pepper, the plaintiff’s attorney, played a tape of an incriminating 1998 conversation between Jowers, UN Ambassador Andrew Young, and Dexter King, MLK’s son. Young testified that Jowers told them he “wanted to get right with God before he died, wanted to confess it and be free of it.”
On the tape, Jowers mentions that those present at the meetings included MPD officer Marrell McCollough, Earl Clark, an MPD lieutenant and known as the department’s best marksman, another MPD officer, and two men who were unknown to Jowers but whom he assumed to be representatives of federal agencies. While Dr. King was in Memphis, he was under open or eye-to-eye federal surveillance by the 111th Military Intelligence Group based at Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Georgia. Memphis PD intelligence officer Eli Arkin even admitted to having the group in his own office. During his last visit to Memphis in late March of 1968, MLK was under covert surveillance, meaning his room at the Rivermont was bugged and wired. Even if he went out to the balcony to speak, his words were recorded via relay. William Pepper alleges in his closing argument during King v. Jowers that such covert surveillance was usually done by the Army Security Agency, implying the involvement of at least two federal agencies.
Jowers also gave an interview to Sam Donaldson on “Prime Time Live” in 1993. The transcript of the interview was read during the trial, and it was revealed that Jowers openly talked about being asked by produce warehouse owner Frank Liberto to help with MLK’s murder. Liberto had mafia connections, and sent a courier with $100,000 to Jowers, who owned a local restaurant, with instructions to hold the money at his restaurant.
John McFerren owned a store in Memphis and was making a pickup at Liberto’s warehouse at 5:15 p.m. on April 4th, roughly 45 minutes before the assassination. McFerren testified that he overheard Liberto tell someone over the phone, “Shoot the son of a bitch on the balcony.” Other witnesses who testified included café owner Lavada Addison, who was friends with Liberto in the 1970s. She recalled him confiding to her that he “had Martin Luther King killed.” Addison’s son, Nathan Whitlock, also testified. He asked Liberto if he killed MLK, and he responded, “I didn’t kill the nigger but I had it done.” When Whitlock pressed him about James Earl Ray, Liberto replied, “He wasn’t nothing but a troublemaker from Missouri. He was a front man … a setup man.”
The back door of Loyd Jowers’ establishment led to a thick crop of bushes across the street from the Lorraine Motel balcony where Dr. King was shot. On the taped confession to Andrew Young and Dexter King, Jowers says after he heard the shot, Lt. Earl Clark, who is now deceased, laid a smoking rifle at the rear of his restaurant. Jowers then disassembled the rifle, wrapped it in a tablecloth and prepared it for disposal.
The corporate media says it was James Earl Ray who shot MLK, and he did it from the 2nd floor bathroom window of the rooming house across the street from the Lorraine Motel. The official account alleges the murder weapon was dropped in a bundle and abandoned at Dan Canipe’s storefront just before he made his getaway. But even those authorities and media admit that the bullet that tore through MLK’s throat didn’t have the same metallurgical composition as the bullets in the rifle left behind by James Earl Ray. And Judge Joe Brown, a weapons expert called to testify by Pepper in the 1999 trial, said the rifle allegedly used by James Earl Ray had a scope that was never sighted in, meaning that the weapon in question would have fired far to the left and far below the target.
The actual murder weapon was disposed of by taxi driver James McCraw, a friend of Jowers. William Hamblin testified in King v. Jowers that McCraw told him this story over a 15-year period whenever he got drunk. McCraw repeatedly told Hamblin that he threw the rifle over the Memphis-Arkansas bridge, meaning that the rifle is at the bottom of the Mississippi river to this day. And according to Hamblin’s testimony, Canipe said he saw the bundle dropped in front of his store before the actual shooting occurred.
The Conspiracy
To make Dr. King vulnerable, plans had to be made to remove him from his security detail and anyone sympathetic who could be a witness or interfere with the killing. Two black firefighters, Floyd Newsum and Norvell Wallace, who were working at Fire Station #2 across the street from the Lorraine Motel, were each transferred to different fire stations. Newsum was a civil rights activist and witnessed MLK’s last speech to the striking Memphis sanitation workers, “I Have Seen the Mountaintop,” before getting the call about his transfer. Newsum testified that he wasn’t needed at his new assignment, and that his transfer meant that Fire Station #2 would be out of commission unless someone else was sent there in his stead. Newsum talked about having to make a series of inquiries before finally learning that his reassignment had been ordered by the Memphis Police Department. Wallace testified that to that very day, while the official explanation was a vague death threat, he hadn’t once received a satisfactory answer as to why he was suddenly reassigned.
Ed Redditt, a black MPD detective who was assigned to MLK’s security detail, was also removed from the scene an hour before the shooting and sent home, and the only reason given was a vague death threat. Jerry Williams, another black MPD detective, was usually tasked with assembling a security team of black police officers for Dr. King. But he testified that on the night of the assassination, he wasn’t assigned to form that team.
There was a Black Panther-inspired group called The Invaders, who were staying at the Lorraine Motel to help MLK organize a planned march with the striking garbage workers. The Invaders were ordered to leave the motel after getting into an argument with members of MLK’s entourage. The origins of the argument are unclear, though several sources affirm that The Invaders had been infiltrated by Marrell McCollough of the MPD, who later went on to work for the CIA. And finally, the Tact 10 police escort of several MPD cars that accompanied Dr. King’s security detail were pulled back the day before the shooting by Inspector Evans. With all possible obstacles out of the way, MLK was all alone just before the assassination.
The Cover-Up
Around 7 a.m. on April 5, the morning after the shooting, MPD Inspector Sam Evans called Public Works Administrator Maynard Stiles and told him to have a crew destroy the crop of bushes adjacent to the rooming house above Loyd Jowers’ restaurant. This is particularly odd coming from a policeman, since the bushes were in a crime scene area, and crime scene areas are normally roped off, not to be disturbed. The official narrative of a sniper in the bathroom at the rooming house was then reinforced, since a sniper firing from an empty clearing would be far more visible than one hidden behind a thick crop of bushes.
Normally, when a major political figure is murdered, all possible witnesses are questioned and asked to make statements. But Memphis PD neglected to conduct even a basic house-to-house investigation. Olivia Catling, a resident of nearby Mulberry Street just a block away from the shooting, testified that she saw a man leave an alley next to the rooming house across from the Lorraine, climb into a Green 1965 Chevrolet, and speed away, burning rubber right in front of several police cars without any interference. There was also no questioning of Captain Weiden, a Memphis firefighter at the fire station closest to the Lorraine, the same one from which Floyd Newsum had been transferred just a day before.
Memphis PD and the FBI also suppressed the statements of Ray Hendricks and William Reed, who said they saw James Earl Ray’s white mustang parked in front of Jowers’ restaurant, before seeing it again driving away as they crossed another street. Ray’s alibi was that he had driven away from the scene to fix a tire, and these two statements that affirmed his alibi were withheld from Ray’s guilty plea jury.
The jury present at Ray’s guilty plea hearing also wasn’t informed about the bullet that killed MLK having different striations and markings than the other bullets kept as evidence, nor that the bullet couldn’t be positively matched as coming from the alleged murder weapon. Three days after entering the guilty plea, James Earl Ray unsuccessfully attempted to retract it and demand a trial. Incredibly, James Earl Ray turned down two separate bribes, one of which was recorded by his brother Jerry Ray, where he was offered $220,000 by writer William Bradford Huey and the guarantee of a full pardon if he would just agree to have the story “Why I Killed Martin Luther King” written on his behalf.
The Deception
One of the 70 witnesses that William F. Pepper called to testify in King v. Jowers was Bill Schaap, a practicing attorney with particular experience in military law, with bar credentials in New York, Chicago, and DC. Schaap testified at great length about how the government, through the FBI and the CIA, puts people in key positions on editorial boards at influential papers like the New York Times and Washington Post. He describes that although these editorial board members and news directors at cable news outlets may be liberal in their politics, they always take the government’s side in national security-related stories. Before you write that off as conspiracy theory, remember how people like Bill Keller at the New York Times, as well as the Washington Post editorial board, all cheerfully led the march to war in Iraq ten years ago.
Another King v. Jowers witness was Earl Caldwell, a New York Times reporter who was sent to Memphis by an editor named Claude Sitton. Caldwell testified that the orders from his editor were to “nail Dr. King.” In the publication’s effort to sell the story of James Earl Ray as the murderer, the Times cited an investigation into how Ray got the money for his Mustang, rifle, and the long road trip to Tennessee from California. The Times said that according to their own findings as well as the findings of federal agencies, Ray got the money by robbing a bank in his hometown of Alton, Illinois. In Pepper’s closing argument, he says that when he or Jerry Ray talked to the chief of police in Alton, along with the bank president of the branch that was allegedly robbed, neither said they had been approached by the New York Times, or by the FBI. Essentially, the Times fabricated the entire story in order to sell a false narrative that there was no government intervention and that James Earl Ray was a lone wolf.
So for the following 31 years after King’s death, nobody dared to question the constant reiteration of James Earl Ray as the murderer of Martin Luther King. Even 13 years after a jury found the government complicit in a conspiracy to murder the civil rights leader, the complicit media continues to propagate the false narrative they sold us three decades ago and vociferously shout down any alternative theories as to what happened as “conspiracy theory,” framing those putting forth such theories as wackjobs undeserving of any credibility. It’s strikingly similar to how the Washington Post defended their warmongering in a recent editorial commenting on the invasion of Iraq, and had one of their reporters defend the media’s leading of the charge into Iraq.
As we remember Dr. King and the important work he did, we should also reject the official account of his death as loudly as the government and media shout down anyone who tries to contradict their lies. As Edward R. Murrow said, “Most truths are so naked that people feel sorry for them and cover them up, at least a little bit.”

With Friday Closures, Curtailed Service, Sequestration Hits Courts

Sequestration reduced the Judiciary’s overall funding levels by almost $350 million—a 5 percent cut affecting people, programs, and court operations. Each court decides how to implement the funding cuts, but it is anticipated that nationwide up to 2,000 employees could be laid off this fiscal year, or face furloughs. 

In testimony (pdf) before House appropriators, Judge Julia Gibbons, chair of the Judicial Conference Budget Committee, warned that sequestration’s cuts will impact public safety with fewer probation officers to supervise criminal offenders released in communities, and funding for drug testing and mental health treatment cut 20 percent. In the defender services program, federal defender attorney staffing levels will decline, which will result in delays in appointing defense counsel for defendants. Payments to private attorneys appointed under the Criminal Justice Act also will be delayed as the end of the fiscal year approaches.

The Judiciary continues the cost-containment efforts that, over the last decade, have helped limit the growth in the Judiciary’s budget. Real savings have been achieved in rent, personnel, and information technology. But as Chief Justice John Roberts noted in his Year End Report on the Judiciary(pdf), because the Judiciary has already pursued cost-containment so aggressively, it will become increasingly difficult to economize further without reducing the quality of judicial services.

As Judiciary leaders cautioned House appropriators about sequestration’s long-term effects, threatened courthouse closures and employee furloughs are becoming a reality.

Among those courts, is the District of Colorado. Last week Chief Judge Marcia S. Krieger issued an order(pdf) limiting the scheduling of criminal trials and hearings in federal district court due to budgetary constraints and furloughs. Beginning Friday, April 26, 2013 and continuing through September 30, 2013, no hearings or trials in criminal cases (other than mandatory first appearances before a magistrate judge) will be heard on Fridays. According to Clerk of Court Jeff Colwell, the order was a coordinated effort that took into consideration furloughs in the Federal Public Defenders’ office, as well as mandated furloughs in the U.S. Marshals Services and the U.S. Attorneys office.

"Because the participation of the professionals in these offices is integral to proper adjudication of criminal matters before the Court, coordination in scheduling of criminal trials and hearings is necessary to ensure access to the Court by all parties and the public, appropriate representation to criminal defendants and necessary courthouse security," the order read.

One of the busiest trial courts in the country, the Central District of California, will furlough staff and reduce court services on seven Fridays, from April through August in three of its divisions: Western (Los Angeles), Southern (Santa Ana) and Eastern (Riverside.) The courthouses will be open, but the clerk’s office will be closed except for the criminal intake section and specified emergency civil filings.

Court staff furloughs of one day a month, beginning in May, are planned in the Northern District of California. The court will close the San Francisco, San Jose, and Eureka federal courthouses on the first Friday of each month, and close the Oakland courthouse the first Monday of the month. The court also has accelerated implementation of technological initiatives in its operations, hoping that will save money.

"These efforts will include the expansion of our e-filing program to include attorney admissions paperwork, case-initiating documents in new civil cases, reports from Probation and Pretrial Services, and orders for transcripts from court reporters," said Clerk of Court Rich Wieking.

Beginning in May, the District of Delaware will stop hearing all but absolutely essential criminal proceedings on Fridays. "In light of the impact sequestration is having on the U.S. Marshals Service, the U.S. Attorney's and Federal Public Defender Office, the court will reschedule any existing criminal events and not schedule any new criminal proceedings on Friday, with the exception of emergencies," said Clerk of Court John Cerino.

In the Western District of New York, the court also will not hold criminal proceedings on Fridays. According to Clerk of Court Michael J. Roemer, that isn't only because of the 22 furlough days the Federal Defenders Office has planned. "It's also because of the 14 days the U.S. Attorneys Office has scheduled its attorneys, and the 11 days the U.S. Marshals Service will furlough its Marshals. Although the court itself does not plan to furlough employees, we are simply trying to accommodate the other agencies in implementing their furlough plans."

To accommodate furloughs in the offices of the Federal Defender, U.S. Attorneys, and U.S. Marshals Service, judges in the Eastern District of Missouri will not schedule any criminal proceedings on the second and fourth Fridays of each month, beginning April 26 and running through the end of fiscal year 2013.  

From April 26 through the end of the fiscal year, the District of Utah will limit its Friday calendar, holding criminal hearings every other Friday to accommodate short-staffed U.S. Attorney’s Office, Federal Defenders Office and U.S. Marshals Service who have furloughed staff.

"We set up the schedule to make it a little easier for these agencies to close their offices on these days, except for a skeleton staff," said Clerk of Court Mark Jones. "We haven’t had to furlough staff in the clerk’s office yet, because we’ve cut back through attrition, early retirements and by not filling positions. But we will have to take more drastic measures if additional cuts are made."

In the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, rather than eliminate a day of holding court, bankruptcy judges will stop hearings at 5:00 p.m. sharp.

"This court receives cases which are high profile in nature, many of which affect international parties," said Bankruptcy Clerk of Court Vito Genna. "The Court often goes beyond the regular work schedule, with some hearings ending late evening and often close to midnight." However, over the last two years, the bankruptcy court has lost the equivalent in funding of 26 employees. While it has no plans at this time to furlough employees due to conserving funds and the assistance from the district court with additional funds, it may need to downsize further before the end of the fiscal year.

I thought you might want to tell everyone that here in Austin, Tx last night I was speaking with a man who was perplexed. He said his brother had gone to court yesterday and when he got there, no one was there and there were no docs!

I also know someone in New Orleans who works at the court house. She says they shut down. A very powerful attorney is assisting and says he is happy he is no longer an attorney. She said they can not talk about details but they are closed and burning all records. She says they are making private calls to inform folks of the changes.

Wow…

Also I live in this hotel with government officials staying here for some supposed graduation preparing to happen with the FBI, the secret service, the state troopers, the police and the military. We can all hear each other from our hotel rooms. I overheard them talking about how the war is over. How there will not be another war. How we have entered into a time of peace. How he can not give orders because he does not know how to go forward.

This is all a HUGE wow and the media is not speaking a word!!!

Can my dog stay at your hotel ?

A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation. 
He wrote: 

"I would very much like to bring my dog with me. 
He is well-groomed
And very well behaved.
Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?"

An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who wrote:
"SIR: I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures off the walls.
