President Carter, General Powell Plead For Russian Aid To Overthrow Obama

A stunning Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) report circulating in the Kremlin today states that two of the United States highest ranking military generals delivered a “personal plea” to President Putin from retired four-star general and former Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the 65th United States Secretary of State, General Colin Powell, and former President Jimmy Carter for “specific military telecommunications assistance” intended to aid them in overthrowing the Obama regime that these Americans claim is “run by blackmail” and is destroying their nation.

According to this report, yesterday morning, 5 August, General Vincent K. Brooks, the US Army Pacific’s commanding general, and Major General Michael H. Shields, US Army Alaska’s commanding general, departed from their tour of their Alaskan military bases and requested immediate permission to enter Russian airspace and land their C-130 aircraft Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport located in Kamchatka Krai.

Upon these American generals landing at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport, this report says, they were met by high-ranking Russian defense leaders currently based in the Far East and who had been overseeing the largest military drills taking place in the Motherland since Soviet times.

As to the mission of these American generals, this report continues, was to obtain permission from Putin, and Russian defense authorities, for those forces loyal to Powell and Carter, the ability to utilize the highly secure encrypted military and intelligence radio channels currently available on Russia’s Meridian 2communication satellite and which use encryption technology that has not been broken by the United States National Security Agency-Central Security Service (NSA/CSS).

The purpose of this Powell-Clinton coup-plotting faction using secure Meridian 2 communication networks, these American generals told their Russian counterparts, was to enable them to safely communicate among each other as all of America’s normal means of communication (US Postal Service/Email/Phone and Cellular Calls/Internet, etc.) have been “totally compromised”

These American generals further confirmed that this Powell-Clinton coup-plotting faction is, indeed, behind the numerous Western spies leaking top-secret Obama regime and British intelligence documents to the worlds public, and as we had reported on in our previous report Switzerland Warning AgainstObama Regime Stuns Russia.

Fears that these American generals expressed of the Obama regime being “run by blackmail,” GRU analysts in this report say, were recently verified byRuss Tice, a former intelligence analyst whistleblower for the NSA-CSS, who during a televised interview with Russia Today (RT) [see video HERE] cited specific targets that he saw NSA-CSS spying orders for, including former senators Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama, Colin Powell and high ranking military leaders, mostly 3 star generals and admirals.

And during a televised interview with the American Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) [see video HERE], Tice further noted that NSA-CSS spying orders were issued for US Supreme Court Justices and top US business leaders and that the “word to word” cell, telephone and email communications of all Americans were being recorded and saved too.

Important to note about Tice’s claims of the unprecedented NSA/CSS spying now taking place in the US, is that in 2008, the popular American actor Shia LaBeouf, while being interviewed on a television programme called the Tonight Show [see video HERE] told of his experience having a high level FBI agent play back for him phone conversations he, LaBeouf, had made a few years earlier as a demonstration about how much the American government knew about the private lives of their citizens.

To how the NSA-CSS have used the stolen communications of their nations top political, business, news media, military and other such peoples, this report says, has been to establish the most “convoluted blackmail scheme” the world has ever seen, where at one moment political enemies become political allies (left wing Obama and right wing Congressman Michelle Bachman on same side against NSA/CSS whistleblower Edward Snowden) and where news media giants refuse to investigate any story they’re forbidden to comment on.

Curious to note is that even we here at WhatDoesItMean.Com have been caught up in this NSA/CSS “convoluted blackmail scheme” after being attacked by the famous right wing media giant Glenn Beck, whose main website The Blaze.com, in their 5 August article titled Blaze Debunk: Obama ‘Regime’ Rumored to Shoot Down F-16s Sent to White House in Retaliation for Emails Exposing Colin Powell’s Alleged Affair, written by their technology and science editor Liz Klimas, and extensively commented on by their editor in chief Scott Baker [see video HERE], refuses to acknowledge the Obama regimes actions in shooting down two of their own military planes, while at the same (extremely contradictory) time saying the Obama regime is covering up the Boston Marathon Bombing.

Even worse, in their attack on our previous report, the minions of Glenn Beck failed at even the most rudimentary level to explain to either their readers or listeners (said to be in the millions) even the mostbasic truths of the Sisters of Sorcha Faal, our mission, or even our purpose for being.

To how the United States can survive such hypocrisy coming from such influential media figures like Glenn Beck, and from too many left-leaning other such media types to even mention, is readily apparent in the appeal made by these two American generals pleading for Russian help to overthrow their present regime.

Should the Powell-Carter coup-plotters be successful in their overthrowing of the Obama regime, however, it remains to be seen.  But, and perhaps, even more important is that should they fail, their efforts will be kept from the American people (especially by the Glenn Beck types) like was done in 1933 when the Business Plot Coup nearly overthrew the Franklin Roosevelt regime, but which to this day no American school child or college student is allowed to know about.

The same, however, cannot be said of President Carter, who just last month declared to his fellow citizens that “democracy was dead” in America…and now by being backed by General Powell, anythingis possible…and much sooner than many can even know.

Vatic Note:  I never understood why the people of New York ever elected Bloomberg for Mayor.  He is a khazar Zionist and they are even more racist, than the Royal Family of England and you have to go some to achieve that dubious honor.

Council members demanded answers from Mayor Bloomberg's representative just one day after a video released by The Nation documented an abusive stop.

On June 3, 2011, three plainclothes New York City Police officers stopped a Harlem teenager named Alvin and two of the officers questioned and frisked him while the third remained in their unmarked car. Alvin secretly captured the interaction on his cell phone, and the resulting audio is one of the only known recordings of stop-and-frisk in action.

In the course of the two-minute recording, the officers give no legally valid reason for the stop, use racially charged language and threaten Alvin with violence. Early in the stop, one of the officers asks, “You want me to smack you?” When Alvin asks why he is being threatened with arrest, the other officer responds, “For being a fucking mutt.” Later in the stop, while holding Alvin’s arm behind his back, the first officer says, “Dude, I’m gonna break your fuckin’ arm, then I’m gonna punch you in the fuckin’ face.” (VN: Courtesy of training in Tel Aviv with their concentration guards called police)

“He grabbed me by my bookbag and he started pushing me down. So I’m going backwards like down the hill and he just kept pushing me, pushing me, it looked like he we was going to hit me,” Alvin recounts. “I felt like they was trying to make me resist or fight back.”
Alvin’s treatment at the hands of the officers may be disturbing but it is not uncommon. According to their own stop-and-frisk data, the NYPD stops more than 1,800 New Yorkers a day. A New York Times analysis recently determined that more than 20 percent of those stops involve the use of force. And these are only the numbers that the Department records.  Anecdotal evidence suggests both figures are much higher.

In this video, exclusive to TheNation.com, Alvin describes his experience of the stop, and working NYPD officers come forward to explain the damage stop-and-frisk has done to their profession and their relationship to the communities they serve.  (VN: that is the whole point of the exercise.... to separate cops from their communities.  United we stand, Divided we fall, and they want us to fall when the final hammer is brought down.  Instead, it should be brought down at election time and rid the city of this mayor or any other like him.)

The emphasis on racking up stops has also hindered what many officers consider to be the real work they should be doing on the streets. The video sheds unprecedented light on a practice, cheered on by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, that has put the city’s young people of color in the department’s crosshairs.

Those who haven’t experienced the policy first-hand “have likened Stops to being stuck in an elevator, or in traffic,” says Darius Charney, senior staff attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights. “This is not merely an inconvenience, as the Department likes to describe it. This is men with guns surrounding you in the street late at night when you’re by yourself. You ask why and they curse you out and rough you up.”

“The tape brings to light what so many New Yorkers have experienced in the shadows at the hands of the NYPD,” says Ben Jealous, President of the NAACP. “It is time for Mayor Bloomberg to come to grips with the scale of the damage his policies have inflicted on our children and their families. No child should have to grow up fearing both the cops and the robbers.”

This audio confirms what we’ve been hearing from communities of color, again and again,” says Donna Lieberman, executive director of the NYCLU. “They are repeatedly subjected to abusive and disrespectful treatment at the hands of the NYPD. This explains why so many young people don’t trust the police and won’t help the police,” she adds. “It’s not good for law enforcement and not good for the individuals who face this harassment.”

The audio also betrays the seeming arbitrariness of stops and the failure of some police officers to fully comprehend or be able to articulate a clear motivation for carrying out a practice they’re asked to repeat on a regular basis.

And, according to Charney, the only thing the police officers do with clarity during this stop is announce its unconstitutionality.

“We’ve long been claiming that, under this department’s administration, if you’re a young black or Latino kid, walking the street at night you’re automatically a suspicious person,” says Charney, who is leading a class-action lawsuit challenging the NYPD’s stop-and-frisk practices.

“The police deny those claims, when asked. ‘No, that’s not the reason we’re stopping them.’ But they’re actually admitting it here [on the audio recording]. The only reason they give is: ‘You were looking back at us…’ That does not rise to the level of reasonable suspicion, and there’s a clear racial animus when they call him a ‘mutt.’”

The audio was recently played at a meeting of The Morris Justice Project, a group of Bronx residents who have organized around the issue of stop-and-frisk and have been compiling data on people’s interactions with police. Jackie Robinson, mother of two boys, expected not to be surprised when told about the contents of the recording.

“It’s stuff we’ve all heard before,” she said at the gathering. Yet Robinson visibly shuddered at one of the audio’s most violent passages. She had heard plenty about these encounters, but had never actually listened to one in action.

“As a mother, it bothers you,” says Robinson. “The police are the ones we’re supposed to turn to when something bad happens. Of all the things I have to worry about when my kids walk out the door, I don’t want to have to worry about them being harmed by the police. It makes you feel like you can’t protect your children. Something has to be done.”

Officers who carry out such belligerent stops face little accountability under the NYPD’s current structure. The department is one of New York City’s last agencies to operate without independent oversight, leaving officers with no safe place to file complaints about police practice and systemic problems.

“An independent inspector general would be in a position to review NYPD policies and practices—like the recorded stop-and-frisk shown here—to see whether the police are violating New Yorkers’ rights and whether the program is in fact yielding benefits,” says the Brennan Center’s Faiza Patel. “An inspector general would not hinder the NYPD’s ability to fight crime, but would help build a stronger, more effective force.”

NYPD spokespeople have said that stop-and-frisk is necessary to keep crime down and guns off the street. But those assertions are increasingly being contradicted by the department’s own officers, who are beginning to speak out about a pervasive culture of number-chasing.

Two officers from two different precincts in two separate boroughs spoke to The Nation about the same types of pressures put on officers to meet numerical goals or face disciplinary action and retaliation. Most chillingly, both officers use the word “hunt” when describing the relentless quest for summonses, stops and arrests.

“The civilian population, they’re being hunted by us,” says an officer with more than ten years on the job. “Instead of being protected by us, they’re being hunted and we’re being hated.”

The focus on numbers, and the rewards for those who meet quotas has created an atmosphere, another veteran officer says, in which cops compete to see who can get the highest numbers, and it can lead to the kind of arbitrary stop that quickly became violent in this recording.

“It’s really bad,” says the officer after listening to the audio recording. “It’s not a good thing at all. But it’s really common, I’m sorry to say. It doesn’t have to be like that.”

Lieberman from the NYCLU agrees: “It’s time for the Mayor and the Police Commissioner to stop trying to scare New Yorkers into accepting this kind of abuse, and to recognize that there is a problem.”

The day after this video was first released, the New York City Council met to debate the Community Safety Act, a package of bills that would curb some of the abuses associated with stop-and-frisk. Click here to read a full report from that meeting.

We had a quote up here on our blog from 1200 BC reminding us that without Justice a civilization cannot survive.  That is where we are right now, on the precipace of destruction specifically because justice is not available to those in most need of it, the little children, the most pure and innocent that is taken from them like a theft that can never be returned.  The child is ruined for life and robbed of that which is the foundation of his entire future personality and life.

What a horrific crime that is.  Worse than a brinks multi million dollar robbery.  This is not just limited to the GOP, its also going on in the  democratic party as we published on here a couple of years ago.  Its both at the top.  Anyway, since we are at the stage of screaming bloody murder over all of this,  we might as well add this one into it too.

We want this investigated and justice dept personnel to be arrested if they refuse, same with the Assistant AG's.  Its aiding and abetting a felony crime, so they are guilty as the perps and should receive the same sentencing for that crime.

The FBI announced Monday that it has arrested 150 people suspected of child sex trafficking.
                                                       

Unfortunately, those arrested appear to be low-level operators – not the well-connected kingpins who pander children to the wealthiest and most powerful Americans. Elite pedophile networks connected to elements of the CIA, including the “Finders of Lost Children” and the Franklin Scandal group, have operated shamelessly and without fear of prosecution for decades.

They have even peddled young prostitutes during midnight tours of the White House.

On June 29th, 1989, the Washington Times published a breakthrough story headlined: “Homosexual prostitution inquiry ensnares VIPs with Reagan, Bush: ‘Call boys’ took midnight tour of White House.’”

The story began: “A homosexual prostitution ring is under investigation by federal and District authorities and includes among its clients key officials of the Reagan and Bush administrations, military officers, congressional aides and US and foreign businessmen with close social ties to Washington’s political elite, documents obtained by The Washington Times reveal. 

One of the ring’s high-profile clients was so well-connected, in fact, that he could arrange a middle-of-the-night tour of the White House for his friends on Sunday, July 3, of last year. Among the six persons on the extraordinary 1 a.m. tour were two male prostitutes.”

None of the guilty parties was ever prosecuted.

In 2005, male prostitute Jeff Gannon repeatedly took midnight tours of George W. Bush’s White House. Though Gannon was using bogus press credentials, and though the Secret Service broke its own rules by failing to log Gannon in and out properly, no investigation was launched – and, of course, nobody was ever prosecuted.

Apparently, offering midnight tours of the White House for young male prostitutes is standard operating procedure in today’s USA.

Why do these criminals enjoy immunity from prosecution?

Two interrelated factors are at work.

First, America’s wealthiest families share a tradition of what sociologists and criminologists call “elite deviance”: They consider themselves above the law. Groups like Skull and Bones, whose initiates masturbate naked in a coffin in front of the older members, help intensify this culture of deviance by inculcating an ethic of superiority and impunity, and operating as a “feeder” for US intelligence services. Professor Peter Dale Scott explains that these elite organized criminals form an “overworld” which is as far above the law as the “underworld” is beneath it.

Secondly, rogue elements of various police and intelligence services, as well as top-tier organized crime outfits, use blackmail as a means of control. They employ child prostitution rings to obtain blackmail material on politicians, judges, military and intelligence officers, and other key power-brokers.

One of the most notorious CIA-linked child-pimping outfits is the Finders of Lost Children. In 1979, police in Tallahassee, Florida arrested two men who were brutally abusing six children between the ages of three and six. A police investigation revealed that large numbers of captive children were being held in two warehouses in Washington, DC and being treated worse than animals in a zoo. The children were “unaware of the purposes of telephones, televisions, and toilets” and were used in blood rituals and sexual orgies. A vast treasure trove of documents, photos, and videos showed that the Finders were running a huge, multi-national child trafficking operation.

Agent Ramon Martinez of the US Customs Service and Detective James Bradley of the Washington, DC police were horrified at what they found. They were even more horrified when their investigation and attempted prosecution of the Finders was called off – by the CIA! According to Agent Martinez’s report, the case of the Finders of Lost Children was deemed “a CIA internal matter” and all details were “classified secret and not available for review.” The CIA forced USCS, the DC Police, and the FBI to drop the case and release the two child abusers – and give them back the six children for further abuse.  (VN: Remember, it was the British that created the CIA and they worked hand in hand with MI6 and Mossad, who together, are considered the intel branch of the NWO and do not report as a rule, to the heads of their respective countries.  President Truman made public statements that "I wish I had never signed the bill that created the CIA.  I have no idea what they are doing since they do not report to me, rather to someone else that I know nothing about."  Remember also  Britain has one of the worst reputations for pedophiling in their schools.  Is this why? Is this how they got a strangle hold on our congress and senate?)


The CIA’s role in organized child trafficking has been revealed by former CIA Director William Colby, who admitted to Nebraska State Legislator John DeCamp that a rogue element of the CIA was heavily involved in ritual child abuse. Colby said it would be very difficult to stop the CIA child abusers, who held enormous power, but that in the long term they might be brought down. He informed DeCamp that the abused children were being used in CIA mind-control experiments as well as blackmail projects.

Unfortunately, Colby did not live to see the demise of the CIA child-abuse faction. He was killed in a transparently fraudulent “boating accident” a few years after he began working with DeCamp.

John DeCamp’s book The Franklin Cover-up describes how children from Nebraska’s Boys Town orphanage were flown all over the US by a pimp named Larry King, a well-connected Republican who sang the National Anthem at the Republican National Convention by day, then sold child sex slaves to Republican party bigwigs at night. One of the child prostitutes implicated George H.W. Bush in testimony videotaped by investigators.

A series of mysterious deaths ended the Franklin investigation, but the truth is not hard to discover. Nick Bryant’s book The Franklin Scandal and John DeCamp’s The Franklin Cover-up flesh out the details. And the documentary film Conspiracy of Silence – which was nearly scrubbed from history by the child-abuse perpetrators – can and must be viewed on-line.

Bottom line: Though the FBI should be commended for arresting 150 suspected child traffickers, it still needs to be pressured to go after the elite pedophile organizations that apparently enjoy continuing impunity.

*** Damn, they are really screwing with me trying to put this up and in using the search engines to retrace my footsteps and now I can't find half the links I found before.  What is with this part of the world?  What is it with this city of Ur .... why aren't they letting me finish this?   Well, will keep at it, so read what I do finally find.  Maybe you will see something I am missing. Now I highly recommend you get STitchens book on this and read it.  I am going to do that just because they are screwing with this so bad.  Sometimes I think they are so stupid.  When they do this it signals that its important.  We will see.  

Vatic Note:  I have only recently discovered Gilgamesh through a rabbithole I was pursuing, and came across this man from ancient times.  I was following up on a disclosure that Bush Sr's invasion of Iraq had as much to do with the city of Ur as it did with fascist reasons. Bush brought a team of Archeologists with him, and given his satanic background, it did not make sense.  In pursuing what was in the City of Ur, other than Abrahams' birthplace,  I stumbled upon the fact that Ur was the oldest city in Iraq and the beginning of civilization.

It aluded to the fact that Gilgamesh was buried around there somewhere.  You will read his story at this last link above and find out Gilgamesh was searching for the secret to immortality.  Is that what they found  in Ur?  Lord knows Bush is upwards of 90 years old as is Kissinger, Rockefeller, etc.  And Immortality is part of their organ harvesting, and their eugenics program, so was that why he spent so much time there? Here is a totally comprehensive site on Gilgemesh with links to so much.  I finally found it using "start" search. 

Then I discovered that Bush Sr, was obsessed with archeological finds and brought a battery of those scientists with him to Ur.  He spent more time and attention in Ur than he did in taking Bagdad and that intrigued me no end.   By this time, I knew about his pagan, satanist beliefs, so it was worth pursing.  Going down that rabbit hole, I discovered that Gilgamesh was a leader of the people of Sumaria and tied in heavily with the Gods.

I still did not have enough to do a blog, and then this showed up miraculously.  Now STichen died in 2010 without finishing the translations of the 50,000 tablets found in Sumaria, but this below is a suppose to be a fictional account of what he translated on a recent found tablet of cuniform writings about Gilgamesh.  I love this stuff, so it goes up, but I will understand if you decide to pass on it.  lol

Somehow, there is a tie in here that is important. His chptr 14 even mentions Noah's flood, and yet it is from the Sumarian tablets.   I still haven't figured it all out yet.

Chapter 14

 Gilgamesh awoke with a start. He looked about him and recalled where he was. “I’ve fallen asleep, I was so tired. Why did you awaken me no sooner than I had closed my eyes?”

“By yourself you have awakened, and you have slept seven days and seven nights!” Ziusudra said.

“Forgive me then for my hasty words,” Gilgamesh replied, embarrassed. “It is as though but a moment has passed since you began your tale. . . . A secret of the gods you were about to tell me?”

Ziusudra waited until Gilgamesh had his meal, then began to speak slowly.

“At that time, the land extended and mankind multiplied. The Anunnaki, those who to Earth from the Heavens came, were mostly male and, after a while, took a liking to the daughters of man. Even the great ones, like Utu, had children by Earthling women. Enki, the creator of mankind, was pleased that the gods and his creatures could intermingle and have offspring. Sud was pleased, and in her city, Shuruppak, a demigod was anointed as a king.
 
“But the great Enlil was angry. The distractions were keeping the Anunnaki away from their mission, he complained. They of Nibiru should not become involved in the affairs of the Earthlings, he insisted. It was all not to his liking!”

Ziusudra paused to take a sip of water. “Then when the time of Nibiru’s crossing was approaching, Enlil called a council of the gods. ‘The passage of Nibiru in Earth vicinity,’ he reported, ‘could cause a tidal wave to sweep over the Earth. The lord Anu has ordered that all the Anunnaki leave the face of the Earth in their spacecraft.’ ‘And what about mankind?’ Enki asked. ‘Let mankind perish!’ Enlil answered, and he made all of them swear to keep the nearing calamity a secret from mankind.”

“The end of all flesh on Earth!” Gilgamesh exclaimed.

That was Enlil’s wish. But the lord Enki, though bound by an oath, called me to his temple. ‘A killing flood is coming,’ he said, ‘wiping all off the face of the Earth. The Anunnaki will escape in their skyships. Enlil made us swear to secrecy, so that mankind should perish. But I and Sud have chosen you to preserve the seed of mankind, the seed of all that lives on Earth. . . . Build a boat,’ he told me.

He gave me its dimensions and implored me to hurry, and when the construction was finished, to watch for a signal. ‘When Utu shall order a trembling at dusk, you will see a rain of eruptions,’ he said. ‘Then are you to board the ship with all of your offspring, all of your family and kin, all the beasts of the field, and all manner of other creatures, that you may together survive the coming Deluge.’”
 
Gilgamesh sat enthralled.

“On the stated day, a memorable day, with the first glow of dawn, a black cloud arose in the southern skies,” Ziusudra continued. “A storm began to thunder, moving over hills and plains. At their stations the Anunnaki took to their skyships, setting the land ablaze with their glare. We hurried into the boat, and battened the hatches. Cowering like dogs, we crouched against the boat’s walls. For six days and six nights the storm swept over the land. Then the sea grew quiet; the tempest was still. The boat rose to float upon the water. I opened a hatch and looked out. All was covered with water, as level as a flat roof. All life had perished and mankind had turned into clay!”

The memories brought tears to Ziusudra’s eyes and his voice quivered as he continued. “Wherever I looked, I saw only water. I sent out birds to seek land, but there was none. We sat and mourned for many days. . . . But then the waters began to recede, and one day the dove I had sent out did not return, and we knew that there was land somewhere. Whereupon Puzuramurri, the navigator appointed by Enki, directed the boat to the twin peaked Mount Nisir as the lord Enki had instructed. There, at night, the boat shuddered and stopped. We had struck dry land!”

“The Deluge was over!” Gilgamesh exclaimed.

“The tidal wave, yes, but not the calamity. I let all that were in the ship out and offered a burnt sacrifice. As the full majesty of the two peaks came into view, we could see the skyships landing, one after another. One by one they landed, until the lords Enki and Enlil came, too. He saw us and was furious and he shouted, ‘Who broke the oath and to an Earthling revealed the secret?’ At this point the wise Sud soothed his anger and brought up the matter of my divine seed. The others spoke up too, asking for leniency. At last Enki spoke up. ‘Valliant Enlil, my brother,’ he said, ‘to till the land and tend the orchards and shepherd the sheep and mine the gold, the Earthlings are needed. Without mankind, the gods cannot remain. If on Earth the Anunnaki are to stay, with mankind they must share it!’”

“And Enlil was swayed?” Gilgamesh asked.

Ziusudra raised a hand, indicating he was not to be interrupted. “He took counsel of the wise words, but was not forgiving. Let the offspring of Ziusudra multiply and spread, but with sickness and death be afflicted. Let mankind share the Earth with the Anunnaki, but be split up and divided into regions. Let some worship my house and some that of my half-brother Enki, but the two shall not mingle. . . .”

His voice trailed off and he fell silent.

“That calamity, the awesome deluge, how long ago was it?” Gilgamesh asked.

“Nibiru has already come and gone twice since then,” Ziusudra replied.

Vatic Note:  Here we go again.  Since when do fascist corporations get preferential treatment under the law?  Who passed that law and who sponsored it?  Who do these elected officials work for?  Who is paying their salary?  These are becoming fundamental questions, we NEVER had to ask before?  This is a Constitutional Republic created to protect and defend our constitution and our liberties and freedoms. 

The protection against harmful food on our plates,  poisoned water,  chemtrail- polluted air to breath, and what are our reps doing about it?  NOTHING.   They are protecting their campaign contributors and distorting the entire system of our right to a  healthy life,  for profit and gain.  

I feel sorry for these corporations if we ever decide to fight back.  Like Oregon, they found out it is a costly proposition to ignore the public and they also found out just how clever a ticked off public can be, doing what they do, without getting caught. 

Ask Monsanto and the agricorps using GMO banned by the state and over turned by the feds.  I believe they lost 40 tons of beets for that priviledge they got from the feds.  Its costly and can get a lot worse.  France also proved it as well.  They lost crops all over the country from fires set by those adversed to eating foods that will harm or kill them. What in the world did they expect the public to do?  Sit and take it???  I don't think so.

So-called "Ag-Gag" laws reveal the lengths to which the agriculture industry will go to keep their business practices secret.

On February 8, a 25-year-old animal rescue worker named Amy Meyer and a colleague pulled into a parking lot across the street from the Dale T. Smith and Sons Meat Packing Company in Draper, Utah, a suburb south of Salt Lake City. They crossed the street and stepped onto a strip of public land on the roadside, stopping short of a barbed wire fence that demarcated the boundary of the property of the slaughterhouse.

Across a small field, the building housing the killing floor stood in plain sight. Through two large open doors facing the road they stood on, they could see cows being led onto the plant’s disassembly line. Outside the building, a forklift was pushing a live cow—possibly a sick, “downer” cow, which are illegal to slaughter. Despite the fact that she stood firmly on public property and was not an employee of the slaughterhouse, when Meyer took out her camera and began to film, she set herself up to become the agricultural industry’s first-ever “Ag Gag” criminal.

"Ag Gag" laws are a species of state-level legislation that has been vigorously pushed by lobbyists over the last several years to criminalize and suppress the exposure of inhumane practices in animal agricultural operations. In essence, the laws protect the industry by making whistleblowers into outlaws.

Ag Gag laws take aim at camera-wielding undercover whistleblowers, whose videos have provided some of the few unvarnished glimpses the public has seen of where their food comes from—and it's not a pretty sight. Over the last half century, intensive, mechanized, indoor factory-style animal feeding operations have almost entirely supplanted the grazing pastures of traditional livestock farms.

In processing plants, ever-increasing disassembly line speeds have increased the risks of injury to knife-wielding slaughterhouse workers, who tend to be poor, often undocumented migrants from Mexico and Central America, while compounding the risk of some animals being skinned and dismembered while still alive.

Undercover videos have exposed the ugly realities concealed behind the walls and locked gates of animal agriculture facilities and put them on the evening news. The footage is graphic; the impressions they leave are haunting and indelible.

Images from past undercover investigations include unwanted male chicks on an egg farm being casually tossed into a grinder alive, workers swinging sick or runty piglets by their legs and smashing their heads on concrete, and cows and calves being beaten in the head with crowbars (the first two abuses are standard industry practice).

"Once you see them, you can't unsee them," says Matt Rice, Director of Investigations for Mercy For Animals, who traces his own conversion to animal advocacy to undercover videos he watched over a decade ago.

Their impact on a political level can be just as powerful as on a personal one: in the last decade, videos shot by undercover investigators and broadcast on national TV news stations have contributed to the phasing-out of the use of immobilizing “gestation crates” for pregnant sows in the supply chains of several major restaurants and retailers and their outright ban in nine states;

the passage of a ballot initiative outlawing the use of highly constrictive battery cages for egg-laying hens in California;
the passage of a separate California law banning the force-feeding of ducks to produce foie gras;
a ban on veal crates in Arizona and moves toward their elimination in Ohio; and the exposure of the routine slaughter and processing of sick cows for beef, which led to the largest meat recall in US history.

The agricultural industry's response to this intractable public relations threat couldn't be more straightforward: make it illegal.

The first generation of what would later be known as Ag Gag laws emerged in the early 1990s in response to a much different threat posed by underground activists with the Animal Liberation Front movement. In Kansas, Montana and North Dakota, state legislators made it a crime to take pictures or shoot video in an animal facility without the consent of the facility's owner.

In 2002, the American Legislative Exchange Council—the conservative law-drafting organization behind Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law and Arizona's anti-immigrant SB1070—took the approach one step further. ALEC drafted a piece of "model legislation" for distribution to lobbyists and state lawmakers across the country in an effort to make Ag Gag into a national phenomenon.

The model bill, called The Animal and Ecological Terrorism Act, proposed prohibiting activists from, among other things, "entering an animal or research facility to take pictures by photograph, video camera, or other means with the intent to commit criminal activities or defame the facility or its owner." It also proposed the creation of a "terrorist registry" that would contain the names, addresses and photographs of those convicted under the proposed law.

In the last year and a half, at the behest of animal agriculture interests, ALEC's model bill—minus the registry—has been taken up as a template and passed in various iterations in Iowa, Utah, Missouri, Arkansas and South Carolina.

"The animal agriculture industry has nothing to hide," says Emily Meredith, Communications Director for the Animal Agriculture Alliance, an industry group that refers to organizations like the Humane Society as “extreme animal rights organizations.” "But there’s a difference between having nothing to hide and allowing activists—with a blatant agenda to put an end to the consumption of meat, milk and eggs—to gain access to family farms (?) in illicit and fraudulent ways, take video, and then cut and run to later release that video under a big donate now button."

Some versions of ALEC's bill criminalize documenting abuses outright. Some make it a crime to lie about one's associations with animal advocacy groups on job applications for farm employment. Others require those who document abuses to turn any evidence over to law enforcement within 24-48 hours of recording it—a clever way of preventing activists from engaging in the weeks- or months-long investigations required to demonstrate systemic abuses.

Though the rules target animal advocates, the potential ramifications for civil liberties are broader. Ag Gag rules can as easily be used to inhibit agricultural employees from exposing unsafe or illegal working conditions as it can to silence animal advocates.

And other industries are likely to lobby for similar protections against their own whistleblowers-in-the-making. Already, North Carolina's bill makes the falsification of employment application information for the purposes of whistle blowing a crime in any industry.

"Union members know firsthand how important it is for these workers to be able to document unsafe working conditions and other threats to workplace and food safety," says Mark Lauritsen, International Vice President and Director of the Packing Division for the United Food and Commercial Workers union, which represents many slaughterhouse employees. "We are opposed to any government intervention that seeks to intimidate workers and investigators from shining a spotlight on the true conditions of America’s food manufacturing facilities."

"The laws are clearly directed at animal rights activists who threaten the profitability of factory farms and slaughterhouses, but their reach doesn’t stop there," says Rachel Meeropol, Senior Staff Attorney for the Center for Constitutional Rights. For example, the North Carolina bill, she notes, "would criminalize not only animal rights investigations, but also an undercover journalist who applies for a job at a suspect plant in order to expose human trafficking or work safety violations."

As its public profile has increased, public opposition to Ag Gag legislation has grown, and the agricultural industry's path to enacting Ag Gag rules throughout the country has become more daunting. A February 2012 national poll commissioned by the ASPCA showed public opposition to the criminalization of animal abuse whistleblowers standing at almost two in three Americans. Ag Gag bills have been rejected or failed to gain traction in a raft of states in every region of the country from California to Wyoming to Tennessee. The term "overreach" comes to mind.

Amy Meyer's experience has become something of a symbol of that overreach, and an indicator of the limits of the agricultural industry's ability to suppress free speech. A few minutes after Meyer hit “record” on her camera, a truck pulled up in front of her. Meyer’s colleague hastily departed. Bret Smith, the facility’s operator and brother of Darrell Smith, the slaughterhouse owner who is also Draper's mayor, leaned over from the driver’s seat, filming her with a phone camera as she filmed him back.

At first, he accused Meyer of trespassing, though she was plainly standing on the outside of the plant’s fence. Then he shifted tactics. “You cannot videotape my property from public property,” he said (this is in fact not what the law says). “If you read the rights here and the laws of Utah, you can’t film an agricultural property without my consent,” he continued. Smith called the police.

Within just a few minutes, seven squad cars pulled up. “The officers would all go to Brett Smith first and shake his hand,” Meyer recounts. “And then they would come over to me and treat me like a criminal."

An officer questioned Meyer about her identity and what she was doing there, even after affirming that she was not being detained and after she told him she did not wish to answer his questions.

After some arguing over the legal basis for his questioning, according to Meyer, the officer claimed that a worker at the slaughterhouse had reported witnessing her and her colleague crossing over the fence, trespassing onto private property—a description at odds with the footage she shot that day. The officer told her she was free to leave, but that he would “screen charges of criminal trespass” on her.

Eleven days later, prosecutors filed charges against her for “agricultural operation interference,” a Class B misdemeanor that carries a maximum six-month jail term.

At the end of April, Will Potter, a journalist who tracks government suppression of environmental and animal rights activists, broke the story of "the first prosecution in the country" under an Ag Gag law. The story was picked up by local and national media outlets, bringing just the kind of public attention to the agricultural industry that ALEC's model legislation was designed to prevent. Within 24 hours, the charges were dropped.

Without the media attention the story garnered, Meyer may have been forced to defend herself in court. Had prosecutors pressed the case, the video footage, which is clearly shot from outside of the property line, may well have exonerated her. But future cases may have different, less favorable conditions.

On July 22, Meyer, Potter and several other groups and individuals filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Utah's Ag Gag law, which Meyer calls “a blatant violation of free speech and freedom of the press.”

In implementing Ag Gag laws, the agricultural industry has set a highly restrictive example that other industries may soon follow. With the precedent already set, lawmakers will see little reason to extend favorable treatment to one sector and not to every other. By then, prosecuting whistleblowers on behalf of corporations will be business as usual.

A severe drought in the Southwest is devastating crops and farm communities—and sending a warning about climate change.  (VN: Living in the SW where the drought is, is not because of "CLIMATE CHANGE", its because of HAARP which is operating every day now,  and "CHEMTRAILS" which is taking moisture out of our air and creating the drought conditions.  So maybe prosecuting those operating HAARP and dumping the chemtrails will certainly stop the weather problems for sure.)
