All of this whining and crying about a “government shutdown” is a
total joke.  You see, there really is very little reason why this
“government shutdown” cannot continue indefinitely because almost
everything is still running.  63 percent of all federal workers are
still working, and 85 percent of all government activities are still
being funded during this “shutdown”.  Yes, the Obama administration
has been making a big show of taking down government websites and
blocking off the World War II Memorial, but overall business in
Washington D.C. is being conducted pretty much as usual.  It turns out
that the definition of “essential personnel” has expanded so much over
the years that almost everyone is considered “essential” at this
point.  In fact, this shutdown is such a non-event that even referring
to it as a “partial government shutdown” would really be overstating
what is actually happening.

The following are 36 facts which prove that almost everything is still
running during this government shutdown…

#1 According to U.S. Senator Rand Paul, 85 percent of all government
activities are actually being funded during this “government
shutdown”.

#2 Approximately 1,350,000 ”essential” federal employees will continue
to work during this “government shutdown”.

#3 Overall, 63 percent of the federal workforce will continue to work
during this “government shutdown”.

#4 The U.S. Postal Service will continue to deliver our mail.

#5 U.S. military personnel will remain on duty and will continue to get paid.

#6 Social Security recipients will continue to get their benefits.

#7 Medicare recipients will continue to get their benefits.

#8 Medicaid recipients will continue to get their benefits.

#9 Food stamp recipients will continue to get their benefits.

#10 Those on unemployment will continue to get their benefits.

#11 Federal retirees will continue to get their pensions.

#12 The federal school lunch program has enough money to go through at
least the end of this month.

#13 Public schools all over the country will continue to stay open.

#14 Almost all federal law enforcement officials will continue working.

#15 The Federal Reserve will remain “completely functional“.

#16 The Supreme Court will continue to operate normally and federal
courts have enough money to keep going for at least two weeks.

#17 TSA employees will continue to molest travelers at our airports.

#18 Air traffic controllers will continue to monitor traffic at our airports.

#19 Hopelessly outmanned border patrol agents will continue to try to
stem the tide of illegal immigration.

#20 Visas and passports will continue to be issued by the State Department.

#21 The Veterans Administration will continue to offer substandard
medical services, and it will be able to continue processing benefit
payments at least for now.

#22 The Obama administration apparently has plenty of money to spend
on closing open-air memorials that are usually open to the public 24
hours a day.

#23 The Department of Defense announced the awarding of 94 new
contracts worth a combined total of more than 5 billion dollars on
September 30th – the day right before the “government shutdown”.

#24 The “government shutdown” has not prevented the new two billion
dollar NSA spy center from opening up.

#25 Federal prisons will continue to operate normally.

#26 Amtrak trains will continue to run.

#27 The Patent and Trademark Office will be open.

#28 The Consumer Product Safety Commission will continue to issue
product recalls if the products “create an immediate threat to the
safety of human life“.

#29 The National Weather Service and the National Hurricane Centerwill
continue to track weather patterns.

#30 If the federal government needs to respond to a natural disaster,
this “shutdown” will not affect that.

#31 NASA will continue to support the Mars Rover and the two American
astronauts up on the International Space Station.

#32 All city employees of the D.C. government have been deemed
“essential” and will continue to go to work.

#33 Even though the Obamacare exchanges are not working properly,
people will still be able to access them.

#34 The IRS will continue to collect taxes, but it will be suspending
punitive audits of conservative organizations.

#35 Barack Obama will continue to get paid for the full duration of
this “shutdown”.

#36 The U.S. Congress will continue to get paid for the full duration
of this “shutdown”.

Of course not everything is operating normally during this government
shutdown.  Government parks are closed.  The EPA and the Department of
Energy have almost totally closed up shop.  But overall, most
Americans are not going to notice much of a difference.

And perhaps now is a good time for the American people to evaluate
whether or not they actually need a gigantic federal government that
wastes enormous mountains of our money.

For example, our federal government recently spent $98,670 to
construct a single outhouse in Alaska.

That is more than a lot of Americans pay for their entire houses.

It is about time that Washington D.C. started experiencing some of the
“belt-tightening” that the rest of the country has been going through.
 For far too long, the fatcats in D.C. have been living in an
alternate reality where they have been able to live the high life at
our expense.  A recent blog post by Daniel Greenfield discussed how
this shutdown is going to affect the alternate reality that the Obamas
have been living in…

The government shutdown has forced Obama to make do with only a
quarter of his 1,701 person staff. That would leave 436 “vital”
employees. The 90 people who look after his living quarters would be
slashed to 15 to “provide minimum maintenance and support”.

Buckingham Palace, which is twelve times the size of the White House
and has its own clockmaker, only has an 800 person staff. King Harald
V of Norway and his court make do with 152 staffers. King Carl XVI
Gustaf of Sweden gets by with 203.

On Twitter, Michelle Obama announced that she is unable to Tweet on
her own without the aid of all of her sixteen assistants; many of whom
take home six figure salaries. There are more directors, associate
directors and deputy associate directors on Michelle Obama’s staff
than there were in George Washington’s entire administration.

Presidents have fought wars and made peace, explored and annexed vast
territories and built a nation out of a handful of colonies with fewer
senior staffers than are needed to handle Michelle Obama’s Twitter
account.

Oh the humanity!  Will Michelle Obama ever tweet again?  And how will
the White House continue to function without at least one
projectionist on duty at the White House 24 hours a day?

No wonder Barack Obama is so upset about this shutdown.

In the end, this shutdown could turn out to be very good for America.
We have a government that is wildly out of control and that
desperately needs to be reigned in.

During the Obama administration, federal debt held by the public has
risen by 90 percent, and overall federal government spending has risen
by a whopping 317 percent since 1990.

So is it really a bad thing that the federal government has been
forced to cut back for a little while?

Our politicians can whine and cry all they want.  They won’t be
getting any sympathy from me.

"The woman who led police on a high-speed chase near the U.S. Capitol before being shot dead had a history of mental illness and believed President Obama was electronically monitoring her Connecticut home in order to broadcast her life on television, sources said.
Sources told ABC News that Connecticut police had twice in 2012 been called by Miriam Carey's boyfriend, who reported the woman was delusional, acting irrationally and putting her infant daughter in danger.
Carey, 34, a dental hygienist from Stamford, Conn., was killed by police Thursday after trying to ram a White House gate and leading cops on a chase down Pennsylvania Avenue with her 1-year-old daughter in the car. The toddler was uninjured and placed in police custody.

Right now, the ground underneath Yellowstone National Park is rising at a record rate. In fact, it is rising at the rate of about three inches per year. The reason why this is such a concern is because underneath the park sits the Yellowstone supervolcano – the largest volcano in North America. Scientists tell us that it is inevitable that it will erupt again one day, and when it does the devastation will be almost unimaginable. A full-blown eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano would dump a 10 foot deep layer of volcanic ash up to 1,000 miles away, and it would render much of the United States uninhabitable. When most Americans think of Yellowstone, they tend to conjure up images of Yogi Bear and “Old Faithful”, but the truth is that sleeping underneath Yellowstone is a volcanic beast that could destroy our nation in a single day and now that beast is starting to wake up.
The Yellowstone supervolcano is so vast that it is hard to put it into words. According to the Daily Mail, the magma “hotspot” underneath Yellowstone is approximately 300 miles wide…
The Yellowstone Caldera is one of nature’s most awesome creations and sits atop North America’s largest volcanic field.
Its name means ‘cooking pot’ or ‘cauldron’ and it is formed when land collapses following a volcanic explosion.
In Yellowstone, some 400 miles beneath the Earth’s surface is a magma ‘hotspot’ which rises to 30 miles underground before spreading out over an area of 300 miles across.
Atop this, but still beneath the surface, sits the slumbering volcano.
When most Americans think of volcanic eruptions in the United States, they remember the catastrophic eruption of Mount St. Helens back in 1980. But that eruption would not even be worth comparing to a full-blown eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano.
And now the area around Yellowstone is becoming increasingly seismically active. In fact, Professor Bob Smith says that he has never seen anything like this in the 53 years that he has been watching Yellowstone…
Until recently, Bob Smith had never witnessed two simultaneous earthquake swarms in his 53 years of monitoring seismic activity in and around the Yellowstone Caldera.
Now, Smith, a University of Utah geophysics professor, has seen three swarms at once.
In September, 130 earthquakes hit Yellowstone over the course of a single week. This has got many Yellowstone observers extremely concerned…
Yellowstone’s recent earthquake swarms started on Sept. 10 and were shaking until about 11:30 a.m. Sept. 16.
“A total of 130 earthquakes of magnitude 0.6 to 3.6 have occurred in these three areas, however, most have occurred in the Lower Geyser Basin,” a University of Utah statement said. “Notably much of seismicity in Yellowstone occurs as swarms.”
So what is the worst case scenario?
Well, according to the Daily Mail, a full-blown eruption of Yellowstone could leave two-thirds of the United States completely uninhabitable…
It would explode with a force a thousand times more powerful than the Mount St Helens eruption in 1980.
Spewing lava far into the sky, a cloud of plant-killing ash would fan out and dump a layer 10ft deep up to 1,000 miles away.
Two-thirds of the U.S. could become uninhabitable as toxic air sweeps through it, grounding thousands of flights and forcing millions to leave their homes.
Can you think of another potential disaster that could accomplish the same thing?
That is why what is going on at Yellowstone right now is so important, and the American people deserve the truth. The following are some more facts about Yellowstone that I compiled that I included in a previous article…
#1 A full-scale eruption of Yellowstone could be up to 1,000 time more powerful than the eruption of Mount St. Helens in 1980.
#2 A full-scale eruption of Yellowstone would spew volcanic ash 25 miles up into the air.
#3 The next eruption of Yellowstone seems to be getting closer with each passing year. Since 2004, some areas of Yellowstone National Park have risen by as much as 10 inches.
#4 There are approximately 3,000 earthquakes in the Yellowstone area every single year.
#5 In the event of a full-scale eruption of Yellowstone, virtually the entire northwest United States will be completely destroyed.
#6 A massive eruption of Yellowstone would mean that just about everything within a 100 mile radius of Yellowstone would be immediately killed.
#7 A full-scale eruption of Yellowstone could also potentially dump a layer of volcanic ash that is at least 10 feet deep up to 1,000 miles away.
#8 A full-scale eruption of Yellowstone would cover virtually the entire midwest United States with volcanic ash. Food production in America would be almost totally wiped out.
#9 The “volcanic winter” that a massive Yellowstone eruption would cause would radically cool the planet. Some scientists believe that global temperatures would decline by up to 20 degrees.
#10 America would never be the same again after a massive Yellowstone eruption. Some scientists believe that a full eruption by Yellowstone would render two-thirds of the United States completely uninhabitable.
#11 Scientists tell us that it is not a matter of “if” Yellowstone will erupt but rather “when” the next inevitable eruption will take place.
What makes all of this even more alarming is that a number of other very prominent volcanoes around the world are starting to roar back to life right now as well.
For example, an Inquisitr article from back in July described how “the most dangerous volcano in Mexico” is starting to become extremely active…
Popocatepetl Volcano is at it again. The active volcano near Mexico City erupted again this morning, spewing ash up into the sky.
The volcano is currently in the middle of an extremely active phase. According to the International Business Times, the volcano has registered 39 exhalations in the last 24 hours.
An eruption earlier this month caused several flights to be canceled in and out of Mexico City.
The BBC notes that officials raised the alert level yellow following Popocateptl’s eruption on Saturday morning. Yellow is the third-highest caution level on the city’s seven step scale.
And an NBC News article from August noted that one of the most dangerous volcanoes in Japan has erupted 500 times so far this year…
Ash wafted as high as 3 miles above the Sakurajima volcano in the southern city of Kagoshima on Sunday afternoon, forming its highest plume since the Japan Meteorological Agency started keeping records in 2006. Lava flowed just over half a mile from the fissure, and several huge volcanic rocks rolled down the mountainside.
Though the eruption was more massive than usual, residents of the city of about 600,000 are used to hearing from their 3,664-foot neighbor. Kagoshima officials said in a statement that this was Sakurajima’s 500th eruption this year alone.
So what does all of this mean?
Are we now entering a time when volcanic eruptions will become much more common all over the globe?
Could we rapidly be approaching the day when an absolutely devastating volcanic eruption will paralyze much of North America?

Even some media outlets supportive of Barack Obama’s presidency are starting to acknowledge his manipulation of the partial government shutdown is going too far.

Some federal government funding ran out earlier this week when Senate Democrats, and Obama himself, refused to negotiate with majority Republicans in the House over a spending bill that defunds Obamacare

Tasked with selecting which functions of government should be shut down, the Obama administration created a firestorm of negative publicity this week when it ordered rangers to barricade otherwise fully accessible public areas in Washington, including war memorials.

An angry Park Service ranger indicated to Washington Times columnist Wesley Pruden that there is a political motive behind the closure of the open-air memorials.

“We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can,” he said. “It’s disgusting.”

The closures have even included some privately funded sites. Access to the national cemetery honoring World War II veterans in Normandy, France, was shut down, and a road allowing repair workers access to flood-ravaged Estes Park, Colo., was closed. Private vendors near some national sites have been told to lock up and go home.

Meanwhile, on Capitol Hill a Democrat in the House accuse the Republicans of waging “jihad.”

“The gentleman from California said [the shutdown was hurting] the towns around Yosemite. Was he thinking about that when he voted to shut down the government?” ranted Rep. George Miller, D-Calif., on the floor of the House. “He was prepared to sacrifice the local economy. He was prepared the sacrifice the towns around Yosemite when he was on the jihad against American citizens getting access to health care.”

Miller was ruled “out of order.” After he left the floor, Rep. Mike Simpson, R-Idaho, said he was “disgusted” by Miller’s comments.

While the closures of the memorials in Washington, which are already in the open and accessible to passersby and in fact, more costly to close than to leave open because of the special costs for barricades, there have been random shutdowns all over.

That’s prompted a private donor to come up with funds for a military academy football game scheduled on Saturday, for the Republican National Committee to offer to cover the cost of keeping the World War II memorial in Washington open, and for the state of Arizona to ask what it could do to help keep open public access to the Grand Canyon.

A senior administration coldly told the Wall Street Journal, “We are winning … It doesn’t really matter to us” how long the shutdown lasts.

But the report said White House allies already were concerned because “Obama is the most visible symbol of the U.S. government … and will inevitably share I the blame as hardships mount and people weary of the infighting.”

The Journal continued, “Already, the shutdown has produces images of inconvenience, lost pay, and disruptions in wedding and vacation plans.”

Even so, the Journal reported there are those among the Democratic team who want even more force applied.

“Looking back on it, we probably did too much accommodating to them,” said David Plouffe, an Obama adviser during a budget fight during 2011. He said this year, the only solution is the Republicans “relenting.”

But Wesley Pruden at the Washington Times assessed the issue this way:

“The games politicians play: Barack Obama is having a lot of fun using the government shutdown to squeeze the public in imaginative ways. The point of the shutdown game is to see who can squeeze hardest, make the most pious speech and listen for the applause,” he wrote.

“He has closed Washington down as tight as he dares, emphasizing the trivial and the petty in making life as inconvenient as he can for the greatest number. It’s all in a noble cause, of course. Access to most of the memorials is limited, and often in curious ways. The Lincoln Memorial is easy to reach, with the streets around it remaining open. But the Martin Luther King Memorial is made difficult to reach, relegating it, you might say, to the back of the bus. Not very nice.”

He noted the pressure seems to be loading up on Democrats, with Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid snapping at a reporter who asked about a GOP plan to fund programs on which the sides could agree, such as the National Institute of Health.

“If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldn’t you do it?” the reporter asked.

Reid’s insult? “Why would we want to do that? … This is — to have someone of your intelligence to suggest such a thing maybe means you’re irresponsible and reckless.”

The Washington Examiner’s Ron Arnold reported seeing through the press statements from the White House, too.

“For anyone who doubts that President Obama and his minions are choosing to make the government shutdown as painful as possible, be informed that it’s a decades-old White House play…. It works like this: Turn visitors away from our great national memorials to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln, point on the Mall at Capitol Hill, and yell ‘Congress made me do it.’

“Then hope the public falls for it.”

What has the Obama administration been doing? Besides, as Arnold reported, having the Office of Management and Budget order National Parks Director Jonathan Jarvis to close down:

• Access to federal lands for outdoor recreationists at the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area was shut down.
• Grand Canyon river rafters were stopped at Lee’s Ferry, Ariz., by armed rangers and told them they were not allowed on the Colorado River.
• Campers and visitors already inside the parks, even with permits for camping, were given 48 hours to vacate.
• Spending money to install concrete barriers to stop fishermen from putting their boats into the Bighorn River in Montana.

More Concerns about the Koran

Part 2 of a Series

     Every chapter of the Koran but one, starts out with a praise of Allah that is also its proclamation of authenticity:

“In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.”

      Curiously, one of the main themes of the Koran and the Hadiths is hell. Allah (via Muhammad) hurls 783 threats of hell-fire at the unbelieving and disobedient in the Koran. A major theme of the Koran seems to be vengeance against all unbelief.  In addition, the life of Muhammad exhibits frequent instances of personal vengeance against insult or injury. To be fair, it must be said that honor codes based on personal vengeance for wrongs were the early norm for mankind. Genesis 4: 23 speaks of Cain’s descendent, Lamech, bragging to his wives that he had killed a young man for wounding him. In verse 24 Lamech says, “ If Cain’s revenge is sevenfold then Lamech’s is seventy-sevenfold. Vengeance themes are a prominent feature of considerable pre-Christian literature in Europe, including Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and Norse Viking sagas.

     The New Testament contains 74 verses that mention the reality of hell and the consequences of un-repented sin, but the New Testament’s overwhelmingly prevalent message is salvation by grace (unmerited mercy and blessing) through personal faith in Christ. Romans 12: 19 counsels: “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”

    Despite the constant drumbeat of “In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful,” Allah, as described in the Koran, appears to be a rather distant and impersonal god.

     The Koran also contains many verses that emphasize the glories of plunder, such as 48: 20-21:

“Allah promised you rich booty and has given you this with all promptness…and Allah knows of other spoils you have not yet taken.”

     In Surah 4, verse 3, Allah—undoubtedly at Muhammad’s request—informs the Prophet’s warriors how they might avoid taking advantage of young female orphans captured in war.

“And if ye are apprehensive that ye shall not deal fairly with orphans, then, of other women who seem good in your eyes, marry but two or three, or four; and if ye still fear that ye shall not act equitably, then one only; or the slaves whom ye have acquired…”

     Thus Muslim men are given the opportunity for multiple easy-to-divorce wives and additional sex-slaves in this life. The role of plentiful sex in motivating Muhammad’s holy warriors was evidently significant. Sexual rewards continued in heaven.

     In Koran passages 38:51, 44:54, 55:55-74, and 56:22-36, Muslim heaven is described as a sexual paradise for men. Muslim men entering into paradise would be attended by houris, according to 56:34-36, virgin girls of incomparable beauty, whose virginity was renewed after every sex-act. Martyrs were promised immediate entry into paradise, where they would be received by at least 72 of these “black-eyed” maidens. All Muslim men entering heaven are promised some minimum number of virgins. Muhammad assured Muslim wives that they would also have a place in heaven and would be made extraordinarily beautiful.

     These extravagant teachings of Muhammad had the effect of making his claim to be a prophet greater than Moses or Jesus even more preposterous to the Jews and Christians living in Medina. Later the Jews would pay dearly for their rejection of Muhammad. The Prophet subsequently drove two Jewish tribes out of Medina and besieged a third, the Banu Qurayza. The Banu Qurayza were finally forced to surrender and after laying down their arms were given the chance to convert to Islam. All but a few of more than 600 men refused and were beheaded five at a time The best Muslim sources indicate that Muhammad participated in the beheadings and took one of the Jewish widows as his concubine. 

     The Koran also gives husbands considerable latitude in disciplining their wives, including physical punishment. Surah (chapter) 4:34 says:

“As to those women on whose part you fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, beat them.”

     Muslims have a very different understanding of rape. Sharia makes the crime of rape virtually impossible to prove. A Hadith called Reliance of the Traveler guides the rules of Sharia in this regard. Astonishingly, the woman’s testimony does not count, and

“If the testimony concerns fornication or sodomy, then it requires four male witnesses.”

     How is this aspect of Muslim culture working out in Europe?  Rape is now more common in the Norwegian capitol of Oslo than in New York City.  According to Oslo Police, two-thirds of these crimes are committed by non-Western immigrants. More than 80 percent of the victims are native Norwegian women. Yet the predominantly liberal Norwegian media keeps wailing about the dangers of Islamophobia! Despite increasing public concern about the rape epidemic in Norway, Norwegian politicians have so far done everything possible to sweep the problem under the rug.

     Here is am important Muslim doctrine for interpreting the Koran: Western readers are usually surprised by the number of contradictions in the Koran. The Muslim doctrine for handling these contradictions is called ABROGATION. Whichever Koranic revelation comes last abrogates any contradicting earlier revelation.

     Revelations given to Muhammad before he became a political leader and warlord in Medina in 622 reflect a more peaceful Islam. Subsequent revelations recorded in the Koran effectively abrogated most of the peaceful verses of his early years in Mecca. These abrogated early verses are often disingenuously offered as proof of Islam’s peaceful nature by Muslim apologists and their Western dupes—which include an illustrious list of British and American academics and political leaders.

     Western nations are faced with a dilemma they have refused to address. The Islamic doctrines that encourage holy war against all non-Muslims, a culture of vengeance, and sexual exploitation of women are deeply imbedded in the Koran and teachings of Muhammad.

This is an Airman's response to Cindy Williams' editorial piece in the Washington Times about MILITARY PAY, it should be printed in all newspapers across America .

Ms. Cindy William wrote a piece for the Washington Times denouncing the pay raise(s) coming service members' way this year citing that she stated a 13% wage increase was more than they deserve.

A young airman from Hill AFB responds to her article below. He ought to get a bonus for this.

"MS Williams:
I just had the pleasure of reading your column, "Our GI's earn enough”, and I am a bit confused. Frankly, I'm wondering where this vaunted overpayment is going, because as far as I can tell, it disappears every month between DFAS (The Defense Finance and Accounting Service) and my bank account. Checking my latest earnings statement I see that I make $1,117.80 before taxes per month. After taxes, I take home $874.20. When I run that through the calculator, I come up with an annual salary of $13,413.60 before taxes, and $10,490.40 after.

I work in the Air Force Network Control Center where I am part of the team responsible for a 5,000 host computer network. I am involved with infrastructure segments, specifically with Cisco Systems equipment. A quick check under jobs for "Network Technicians" in the Washington , D.C. Area reveals a position in my career field, requiring three yearsˆ™ experience in my job. Amazingly, this job does NOT pay $13,413.60 a year. No, this job is being offered at $70,000 to $80,000 per annum............. I'm sure you can draw the obvious conclusions.

Given the tenor of your column, I would assume that you NEVER had the pleasure of serving your country in her armed forces.

Before you take it upon yourself to once more castigate congressional and DOD leadership for attempting to get the families in the military's lowest pay brackets off of WIC and food stamps, I suggest that you join a group of deploying soldiers headed for AFGHANISTAN; I leave the choice of service branch up to you. Whatever choice you make though, opt for the SIX month rotation: it will guarantee you the longest possible time away from your family and friends, thus giving you full "deployment experience."

As your group prepares to board the plane, make sure to note the spouses and children who are saying good-bye to their loved ones. Also take care to note that several families are still unsure of how they'll be able to make ends meet while the primary breadwinner is gone. Obviously they've been squandering the "vast" piles of cash the government has been giving them.

Try to deploy over a major holiday; Christmas and Thanksgiving are perennial favorites. And when you're actually over there, sitting in a foxhole, shivering against the cold desert night, and the flight sergeant tells you that there aren't enough people on shift to relieve you for chow, remember this: trade whatever MRE's (meal-ready-to-eat) you manage to get for the tuna noodle casserole or cheese tortellini, and add Tabasco to everything. This gives some flavor.

Talk to your loved ones as often as you are permitted; it won't be nearly long enough or often enough, but take what you can get and be thankful for it. You may have picked up on the fact that I disagree with most of the points you present in your open piece.

But, tomorrow from KABUL , I will defend to the death your right to say it.

You see, I am an American fighting man, a guarantor of your First Amendment right and every other right you cherish...On a daily basis, my brother and sister soldiers worldwide ensure that you and people like you can thumb your collective noses at us, all on a salary that is nothing short of pitiful and under conditions that would make most people cringe. We hemorrhage our best and brightest into the private sector because we can't offer the stability and pay of civilian companies.

And you, Ms. Williams, have the gall to say that we make more than we deserve? What do you think someone should be paid to defend your life, and the life of your family?

Should Kenyan authorities investigate the Obamas?

The known number of Obamas in Kenya who are not only Muslim but very active in spreading wahhabist Islam continues to grow. The latest example, according to a couple of 2010 articles from Al Watan and Ekhbaryat (two Saudi newspapers), is Barack Obama’s cousin Feisal Mboya.
Until now, the name Feisal Mboya has been all but unknown to the west but according to these Saudi sources, it was Barack Obama’s step-grandmother, Mama Sarah Obama, who was responsible for converting him to Islam and that Sarah “specializes in Da’wa” or prosthelytizing. The extent to which Mboya is engaged in Da’wa is unknown but it would stand to reason that he seeks to carry on the family practice.

As we have reported multiple times, Barack Obama’s half-brother Malik Obama is the Executive Secretary of the Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO), which is an arm of the Sudanese government. This is a tremendously powerful organization that clearly has a reach – through Malik – into Kenya. What should be obvious is that if Malik is prosthellytizing Omar al-Bashir’s brand of Islam in Kenya, we’re talking about a terrorist brand, which fits right in with the work of Mama Sarah, Musa, Sayyid, and perhaps Feisal, who was converted to their brand as well.
How many other Obamas are doing this kind of work… in Kenya?
The Obamas in Kenya are clearly benefiting from the family name and utilize great leverage in this regard. The Mama Sarah Obama Foundation (MSOF) and the Barack H. Obama Foundation (BHOF) are able to command significant sums for “Da’wa”. The Obama name, coupled with the dollars the family commands, makes otherwise non-Muslims very susceptible to their influence through Da’wa.
As we have also reported, Musa admitted to Al-Jazeera in 2011 that he has provided aid to the Dadaab refugee camp in northeastern Kenya, which borders Somalia. In recent years, this camp has become home to an increasing number of al-Shabaab terrorists (Al-Shabaab is widely acknowledged to have been behind the September 21st Westgate Mall attack in Nairobi). In the wake of the September 21st terror attack at the Westgate mall in Nairobi, Members of Kenya’s Parliament have expressed a strong desire to close Dadaab.
The brand of Islam practiced by Musa (he works to help send Kenyan students to Umm al-Qura University in Saudi Arabia) would seem to belie assertions that he may have been well-intentioned when providing aid to the Dadaab camp.

According to multiple reports, Kenyan authorities were ‘warned’ about the potential of an attack just like the one that occurred at the hands of Al-Shabaab at the Westgate mall in Nairobi on September 21st. There has also been quite a bit of heat turned up on the head of Kenya’s Intelligence Service, Michael Gichangi.

Kenya’s government had been warned, including by Israel, of the high risk of an attack before the deadly assault on a Nairobi mall by Islamist gunmen, security sources said Saturday.
Cabinet ministers and Kenya’s army chief had received information warning of a plan to carry out a major attack, officials told AFP, confirming an intelligence report leaked in Kenyan newspapers.
“Israel had warned of attacks on their business interests but apart from just being tossed from one office to another, nothing was taken out of the intelligence reports,” said one official speaking on condition of anonymity. {emphasis ours}
Based on the background of the Obamas in Kenya, shouldn’t the Kenyan government begin investigating their activities? We’re not suggesting that the family was involved in the Nairobi attack but we are saying that the strain of Islam it is spreading throughout Kenya lays the foundation and helps to create the environment for such attacks to take place. Adding to this problem is the access the Obamas have to a tremendous amount of funds.
There are many forms of Jihad. Take Saudi Arabia and the Royal Family for example. This is a government that will educate and fund terrorists – both militant and stealth – while constantly attempting to remain a safe distance from the fray. When terrorists attack, the Saudi government wants to be seen as part of the solution. Until that time, it is very much part of the problem. When this reality is not recognized, infighting can take place among governments whose people are victims.
Consider 9/11. Immediately after the U.S. was attacked, its people were united but instead of identifying the source of the problem, the Bush administration sought to fight the bitter fruits of Saudi funding (al-Qaeda, the Taliban, etc.) while allowing the tree to continue growing. The administration sought to engage groups that are funded with Saudi dollars instead of exposing them. No matter where you are in the world, this strategy has proven to be a disaster for Islam’s enemy and very effective for Islam itself.

Malik Obama (L): Should Kenyan authorities follow Egypt’s lead?
Post-Muslim Brotherhood Egypt appears to be providing the model for success. It is arresting practically everyone of consequence who is connected to the Brotherhood and has even banned the group. Its focus is not on those who commit terrorist attacks – though it has no tolerance for them either – but on the leaders who inspire them. In fact, it is currently in the process of investigating none other than Malik Obama, who is suspected by prominent Egyptian figures of being a major player with the Muslim Brotherhood.
A similar dynamic may be unfolding in Kenya. If the Obamas in that country have access to unlimited funds and are spreading wahhabist Islam across that country, closing down Dadaab is a good start but it’s not the solution.
That solution may very well include investigating the activities of the Obamas in Kenya.
