  CNN's John King on Sunday's "Inside Politics," noted that "More and more Democrats in key 2014 races are calling for the president to get a spine, they say, and fire his Veterans Affairs secretary" Eric Shinseki. "And what more and more Democrats are saying privately is scathing, calling the president and his team detached, flat-footed, even incompetent."
  
  King, CNN's chief national correspondent, said that Democrats have been saying privately since the HealthCare.gov opening debacle that "they see a president who doesn't want to take command, doesn't want to act fast."

  Some Democrats who believe in bigger government are saying the White House "doesn't appear to have its hand on the lever," King said.
  
  One of King's panelists, Maggie Haberman of Politico, pointed to Obama's "tepid" press conference on the VA scandal last week, saying he was "sort of in, sort of not in with Shinseki." Obama also had a meeting with senators on foreign policy last week that he did not show up for.
  
  "All of this adds up to somebody who just doesn't seem at all involved," Haberman said.

What was once thought to be a crisis actor, interviewed multiple times after the Boston Marathon bombings, appears to be a CNN Pentagon Correspondent posing as multiple different witnesses.

Seems like CNN's Barbara Starr has more than just one job that CNN.
One is being the Pentagon Correspondent, while the other is posing as a witness,
or multiple witnesses, after high profile events and tragedies, like the Boston Marathon bombings.

Most people would agree that they would appreciate being able to trust their local and national news to provide a balanced and honest representation of facts and events. The last few decades, however, has proven that to be virtually impossible to ask for.
Despite what is typically a polished and professional appearance, constant reminders of a blatant disregard for old-time journalistic standards and what now seems to be a perma-lean toward the establishment, at the expense of the people and its grassroots, has long since destroyed the believability of almost anything stated on major radio or television.
If it’s not an almost childlike bias toward either conservative or liberal values proudly emanating from entities like FOX News and MSNBC, major agencies from all points of view have been caught doing things like manipulating audio or video for political and other purposes, reporting and/or omitting specific stories or realities for the protection of individuals or establishments and more than a handful of other credibility-destroying examples.
Perhaps nothing epitomizes the circumstances better than a 2003 story from the, you–can't–make–this–stuff–up, stack of news. When all hope of being able to count on the mainstream media for honest and accurate reporting was thrown out the window, after a federal judge ruled in favor of the establishment media's ability to purposely misrepresent facts and openly lie to the public, without retribution or liability.
But despite that particular situation, even at that point a long time in the making, manifesting out of the offices and studios of Rupert Murdoch's FOX News, there's likely no better example of just how far the major news media has fallen into the depths of dishonor than since the founding of the Cable News Network, commonly known as CNN.
Since not long after their inception, CNN has been caught multiple times throughout the years manipulating the public with sensationalism, favoritism, purposely misrepresenting reality and a multitude of other examples. One of the most poignant of those was back in the Gulf War era, when it was revealed that CNN had been fabricating on location news events. Pretending to be reporting in dangerous locations overseas, but instead from the comfort of CNN's Atlanta studios, in front of a blue-screen, or green-screen. Using a technology known as “chroma key.”
And if your first thought was something like “that was a long time ago,” the very same thing took place as recently as just after the alleged Sandy Hook school shooting tragedy, when it was Andersen Cooper’s turn to pretend to be filming on location at a memorial in Newtown, Connecticut. But was instead found to have been reporting again from CNN studios,in front of a blue or green-screen. Something he was later confronted about, despite it not being the first time Cooper had been found to have been fabricating the news.
And then there's the times when CNN reporters are caught pretending to be filming on location from multiple different areas. Only to be found shooting from the same parking lot, just from two different vantage points, etc.
But nothing may compare to the folly that was the way CNN handled the reporting of the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings. Ultimately making such a mockery out of their jobs and responsibilities, even Obama spoke out in ridicule of how it was handled. Naming CNN specifically, at last April's White House Correspondents’ Dinner, as having the sloppiest and most inaccurate reporting. Mocking the news agency as having covered "all sides of the story, just in case one of them happens to be correct." Referencing the myriad of reporting inaccuracies and fabrications of the events as they unfolded.
If all that isn't enough to raise a question as to just how trustworthy a news agency actually is, if they're willing to fabricate news situations, stories, or even whether or not they're actually on location, the most recent revelation may be the most telling of all.
Soon after the Boston Marathon bombings and once both of the alleged suspects were either dead or in custody, independent researchers began piecing together what ended up being a reality much different than the one proposed to the public by the news media.
One of those startling revelations came from an independent researcher who happened to notice the same exact witness being interviewed by CNN, but as if it was two different witnesses at two different times and locations. One not long after the bombs exploded at the marathon and one just after the alleged shootout between the older suspect and police, a couple days later. (See the attached video)
The realization of yet another CNN news fabrication that ended up going viral on YouTube, but was initially thought to be just another crisis actor, like the ones seen at and after the alleged Sandy Hook school shooting tragedy and multiple other high profile tragedies and events, like the Boston Marathon bombings.
But in quintessential CNN-like fashion, almost as if attempting to go above and beyond anything they've attempted to get away with in the past, it turns out the mystery lady, who CNN tried to pass off as two different witnesses, isn't such a mystery after all.
Ladies and gentlemen, meet CNN Pentagon Correspondent, Barbara Starr. A long-timeestablishment war propagandist turned convenient, on-the-spot witness, whenever CNN needs one.

[ Editor Note: Good gosh....stringing a mega bank fraud guy up on a rope...who would have figured. I wonder if it that might catch on over here as we have so many. We immediatedy need to see if we can get an Iranian exchange program going to teach us how to to it!
But I do think $2.6 billion is a bit too high of a threshold for a date with a first and last rope dance lesson. I would set the capital crime penalty at a couple of million max, because I'm a nice guy, really.

This guy sure had some big cahoonas, using bank fraud money to buy up a bunch of state industries...or maybe a death wish?
We went through our financial pillaging here and not only did we not see a conviction, but are still waiting for the first arrest. We've got to get our Iranian game on folks, and "put the fear" on the bad boys.

Iran has executed the number-one convict in the biggest embezzlement case in the country’s banking history.

According to Tehran’s Public Prosecutor’s Office, Mahafarid Amir-Khosravi was hanged at Evin detention center Saturday dawn.

Khosravi was convicted of disrupting the country’s economy through embezzlement, money laundering, and bribery. He had denied many of the charges.

In July 2012, a Tehran court handed down a death sentence to Amir-Khosravi and three others, including Behdad Behzadi, his legal advisor, Iraj Shoja, his financial solicitor and Saeed Kiani Rezazadeh, the head of the Ahvaz branch of Saderat Bank. The first court session in the case was held on February 18.

Former CEO of Iran’s Melli Bank Mohammad Reza Khavari, who is one of the main suspects in the case, is on the run and wanted by the Interpol.

The president of Melli Bank’s branch in Kish received a sentence of life imprisonment and Khodamorad Ahmadi, a former official involved in the embezzlement case, was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Other defendants were handed down sentences varying from flogging to paying cash fines and being barred from public office.

The defendants stood trial for misappropriating a total of USD 2.6 billion of funds by using forged documents to obtain credit from banks to purchase state-owned companies.

According to the indictment, the owners of Aria Investment Development Company, which is at the center of the controversy, had bribed bank managers to get loans and letters of credit. The company has more than 35 offshoots active in diverse business activities.
