The Four Things You Can Count On Following The Collapse Of The Dollar$$$$$$

It is easy to misinterpret the signals of our economy from afar when we see people driving cars everywhere and we tend to think of our economy as not being that bad.

However, the fact remains that 40 years ago Americans owned those cars that we see them driving. Today, we are renting them as 40% of us are leasing our vehicles. As we drive up and down our neighborhoods, we see people living in houses and we lie to ourselves and use this as a false barometer to convince ourselves that everything is OK. However, many of these homes we see people living in, have lost all of their equity. The logical answer to the question “When will we have a depression”, should be answered by stating “We have an $18 trillion dollar annual deficit and that is the good news. We have $240 trillion dollars of debt from unfunded liabilities and we have a stunning $1.5 quadrillion dollar debt. So, you better grab all the food, water, guns and ammunition that you can and run for the hills”!  But as long we see people driving in cars and living in houses, most Americans are going to deny the truth. And the last thing that I wanted to do at the beginning of this new year, was to be the harbinger of doom and gloom. Yet, I feel compelled to speak the truth, because I might be able to get one more person to take the steps necessary to help increase the odds of their survival in response to what is coming. History shows that one can count on four things occurring following the collapse of the dollar.

The Last Great American Garage Sale

On multiple occasions in this column, I have thoroughly documented the following facts which demonstrate that the banksters are stealing our assets in preparation for them to economically survive what is coming:

1. The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that when you put money into the bank, you have transferred ownership of that money to the bank. This ruling represents government sponsored theft in the highest order, yet most of us are unaware that this happened.

2. The G20 nations declared the money in your bank account to not be money. Therefore, the FDIC insurance for your savings doesn’t mean anything.

3. The MERS mortgage fraud is ongoing and homeowners are still having their homes stolen without legal justification.

4. The Federal Reserve, in 2012, began to print money to the tune of $40 billion dollars a month in order to purchase mortgage backed securities.

5. The banksters have practiced stealing the secured accounts of Americans in the MF Global (MFG) scandal, resulting in the loss of $6.3 billion dollars of secured investment funds. Nobody went to jail.

6. In April of 2013, the banksters were manipulating the price of gold as evidenced by the actions of “Goldman Sachs who told their clients earlier that they recommend initiating a short COMEX gold position.” After investors were duped into panic selling, the banksters bought up massive sums of gold. The banksters were buying gold while getting out the American Stock Market and the megabanks. Why? Because the dollar is on the verge of collapse.

7. This past week, the banksters signaled that they were no longer attempting to gain control of any more gold as they began to repatriate gold with their rightful owners in Europe. This means that the crash could happen at any time.

The only thing left to do is for the banksters to steal your bank accounts. The correct “crisis” will bring about the collapse of the dollar now that the wealth transfer has largely been accomplished.

What America Will Look Like Following the Collapse of the Dollar

The aftermath of an economic collapse can take different forms, however, history demonstrates that there are some universal things you can count on:

1. Obamavilles

People will lose their jobs and ultimately will be evicted from their homes and America will see a dramatic spike in the rate of homelessness. During the Great Depression (1929-1941),the growing number of homeless people in America began to live in communities with cardboard boxes as their only shelter. The communities took on the name “Hooverilles” in reference to the President that most Americans blamed for the Great Depression.

Today, as the economy collapses, a new homeless class will be created and they will come from the former middle class. A large number of Americans own property. This will shift to a large amount of properties that will subsequently be owned by the few and America will witness the introduction of feudalism to our country. This is why the Federal reserve has been buying $40 billion dollars of mortgage backed securities every month.

2. Dramatic Food Shortages

Because of “Just In Time” deliveries, the American food industry operates on quick and multiple deliveries and survives only as the result of the rapid payment of invoices. As the failing economy reaches the service industry, most of these business will fail in very large numbers. Who then, will be delivering the food?

3. Food Riots

Because of the food shortages, riots and organized gang violence will occur. The military is trained to isolate these areas, but will not intervene. If you call 911, nobody will be answering. This will be the time that you wished you had listened to many in the alternative media because this is the time that America will begin to see a large loss of life.

4. Martial Law Will Be Declared

DHS and the military have already practiced for this development. Travel will be limited and it will be stopped all together in areas where the civil unrest is at its worst.

The 2012 and 2014 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), will allow government officials to “disappear” anyone they want to and for any reason, or no reason at all.  The NDAA suspends habeas corpus, provides for indefinite detention and this is done on the premise that certain kinds of Americans are threats (e.g. Second Amendment supporters, Bible-believing Christians). This is where the present harassment of Christians will turn into the outright persecution of Christians.

I think the public has a right to know how its government plans to handle future protests. Is America the new Venezuela, Egypt, or Ukraine?  A previously secret document which was leaked online; entitled FM 3-39.40 Internment and Resettlement Operations (PDF).

RIOT FORMATIONS
H-42. Quick-reaction force teams should be established with a minimum response time. Because of the physical nature of riot control, individuals in riot control formations should not carry rifles. Nonlethal attachments should follow closely behind the riot control formation. Lethal coverage must be provided for this entire formation. (See FM 3-22.40.)
DESIGNATED MARKSMEN
H-43. During a nonlethal engagement, the use of designated marksmen provides confidence and safety to those facing a riot. If a lethal threat is presented, the designated marksmen in overwatch positions (armed with appropriate sniper weapons mounted with high-powered scopes) can scan a crowd and identify agitators and riot leaders for apprehension and fire lethal rounds if warranted. Additionally, they are ideally suited for flank security and countersniper operations. (See FM 3-22.40.).

Government Control Over All Fuel and Transportation

Travel restrictions will be a part of this process.

These are some of the things that government can do to you courtesy of several executive orders.

Executive Order 10990

Allows the government to take control over all modes of transportation, highways, and seaports.

Executive Order 11003

Allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.

Executive Order 11005

Allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways, and public storage facilities.

Executive Order 10997

Allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels, and minerals.

Government Control Over All Food and Water

Executive Order 10998

Allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.

The Ability to Enslave the American People

Executive Order 11000

Allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.

Executive Order 11001

Allows the government to take over all health, education, and welfare functions.

Executive Order 11002

Designates the Postmaster General to operate national registration of all persons.

Executive Order 11004

Allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.

Ability to Grant the President Total Dictatorial Control

Executive Order 11051

Specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.

Executive Order 11310

Grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.

Executive Order 11049

Assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.

There are more examples, but I think you get the idea. Your government has practiced to subjugate and even murder you in times such as these.

Conclusion

Is there anything that can be done to stop the egregious violations of our civil liberties? The short answer is no! However, there are some things that can be done to mitigate the threat and to soften the landing following an economic collapse and this will be the subject of my next article in this series.

Recently the BLM has been caught having ‘public’ meetings that do not conform to ‘public meeting’ laws. Are we surprised? Of course not! They are operating, as are all FOREIGN CORPORATE AGENCIES, under Color of Law and Fraud.

The goal is to create areas of Critical Environmental Concern, meaning human-restricted management areas. These restricted areas have been a way for the federal government to gain further control of large masses of western lands and the resources. As proposed, nearly 3 million acres in Southern Nevada will be locked away from the people.
This includes most uses on the land: Recreational, agricultural, livestock grazing, mineral development, water access and more. Unless they are stopped, 90 days from October 10th, 2014, these proposals will become federal law without consent from the Nevada State Legislature or the people of Southern Nevada.
The Southern Nevada people soon will have less access to their lands than any other people in the history of this country.
Why should this be a problem for me? You might be asking yourself. Because this is the template being used by the Bureau of Land Mismanagement under orders from BAR members in black robes doing the bidding of the Crown/Vatican. It fulfills the directives of Agenda 21.

‘Amnesty Bonuses’ in Tax Code: Illegal Immigrants to Receive Earned Income Tax Credit

 

President Barack Obama has promoted his recent executive action on immigration by arguing that he’s only deferring action – holding off on enforcement of the current immigration laws until an immigration reform he approves of passes Congress. But that's not really true; in fact there’s a way for illegal immigrants immediately to receive “amnesty bonuses,” as Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska terms it.

Here’s how. A recent Homeland Security Committee hearing on immigration revealed an alarming consequence of President Obama’s executive amnesty—that illegal immigrants with deferred status may be able to receive the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). Moreover, this person, who is here in the U.S. unlawfully, could be able to file an amended tax return for up to the last three tax years, possibly receiving upwards of $24,000 in tax credits.

The discovery was made by Eileen J. O’Connor, a tax lawyer and the former head of the tax division of the United States Department of Justice, who used her congressional testimony in front of the Senate Homeland Security Committee to explain it. “The law makes a social security number a requirement of eligibility to receive the earned income credit,” O’Connor explained.

“But in 1999, the Chief Counsel’s office of IRS ruled (in a non-binding, non-precedential way, but no one but the IRS pays attention to those disclaimers) that when a person receives a social security number, he can file amended returns to claim the credit for the three preceding years during which he did not. The logic is puzzling: the credit is not available if you don’t have a social security number, but you can receive it retroactively for years during which you did not qualify for it because you didn’t have a social security number.”

Senator Sasse, who along with Senator Ron Johnson has written a letter addressed to the inspector general of the U.S. Treasury Department, has released a statement commenting on the “amnesty bonuses.”

“By offering illegal aliens new payments under the Earned Income Tax Credit, the IRS may encourage fraud from those claiming children living in other countries. The Administration may have blown open the doors for fraud with amnesty bonuses of more than $24,000 to those who receive deferred action,” Sasse says in the statement.

“This is basic economics: if you want more of something, you subsidize it. By subsidizing illegal entry with four years’ worth of new tax credits, the IRS would promote lawlessness. This program severely undermines the White House’s lip-service to enforcing the law and would increase the burden on law-abiding taxpayers.” 

In his own statement, Senator Ron Johnson, chairman of the Homeland Security Committee, seconds Sasse’s concerns. “Non-U.S. citizens who qualify for President Obama’s temporary deferred actions will now be eligible to receive permanent Social Security numbers. A Social Security number is the key that opens a whole treasure chest of benefits, including significant tax credits,” Johnson’s statement reads.

“Most notably, qualifying applicants for the president’s programs can now claim thousands – even tens of thousands – of dollars in payments from the Earned Income Tax Credit and, for some, the Additional Child Tax Credit. These two programs, which cost taxpayers $89.6 billion in 2013, were responsible for $21 billion in improper, potentially fraudulent payments that same year.  Americans deserve to know where their taxpayer dollars are being spent and whether the Internal Revenue Service is failing to protect them from improper payments.”

Here’s the full text of Sasse’s letter, which is signed by Johnson, and nine direct questions for the inspector general:

Dear Inspector General George:
This week, witnesses at a hearing of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee discussed the implications of the President’s executive amnesty. We would appreciate your views on the testimony of Eileen O’Connor, formerly with the Department of Justice Tax Division, who discussed the tax consequences of the President’s new policies.
We would like to summarize her comments briefly and would appreciate your assessment of whether what we heard was accurate.
According to Ms. O’Connor, the President’s executive actions will not only allow illegal aliens to stay in the country for three years, but would also award them with free federal money.
Right now, the law requires anyone who lives and works in the country illegally to be returned to their home country. The law also prohibits these individuals from getting many federal benefits available to U.S. citizens and legal residents.

As Ms. O’Connor explained, however, the President effectively re-wrote the law in a way that significantly changed the status of some of those here illegally. From this point forward, any illegal alien who is approved under the new rules to stay in the U.S. – a process known as “deferred action” – will now be allowed to receive a Social Security Number.
The significance of this change, Ms. O’Connor noted, is that having a Social Security Number will allow individuals to get federal benefits that were previously unavailable. In particular, it could allow millions of people to receive a tax benefit known as the Earned Income Tax Credit, or EITC. Under the law, families with low to moderate incomes can get an EITC cash payment as high as $6,143, but only if they have a Social Security Number.
For some people, the total amount could go even higher. This is because under EITC rules, anyone eligible for the program can also ask for payments to cover the three prior years as well. This means that an illegal alien with a new Social Security Number can get a payment of more than $24,000 for years they were working illegally. On top of this, Ms. O’Connor noted, families could also get thousands more in payments through the Additional Child Tax Credit program. This means a family with three or more children might collect even more than $24,000.
Ms. O’Connor concluded by pointing to the work of your office, which has found enormous fraud rates in both the EITC program and in the Additional Child Tax Credit program. Therefore, we are concerned that because the President’s new rules would let millions of people access these programs for the first time, the cost to the taxpayer could be billions of dollars.
When the President announced his new polices in November, these facts were not included. Moreover, none of the documents released by the administration provided any explanation for this, either.

In light of her testimony, we would greatly appreciate if you could provide answers to the following questions:
1. Is the above summary of Ms. O’Connor’s testimony an accurate description of the effects of the President’s executive actions?
2. Given the high rates of fraud in both tax credit programs, is there an incentive for tax filers to fraudulently claim more children than they have?
3. To be eligible for the Additional Child Tax Credit, is a tax filer required to provide a Social Security Number for each claimed child?
4. Is it possible for individuals to claim tax benefits under either program for children that do not live in the United States? If so, can you estimate the amount of fraudulent claims?
5. If someone with children who has worked in the United States receives deferred action and gets a new Social Security Number, but has never filed their taxes, what is the highest amount that person might receive under both tax credit programs?
6. What additional tax benefits might someone be eligible for with a Social Security Number that they would not have been eligible for with merely an Individual Tax Identification Number?
7. What do you estimate will be the full cost of providing EITC benefits to illegal aliens under the President’s executive actions?
8. How many people do you estimate will be eligible for EITC benefits under the President’s executive actions who were not previously eligible?
9. Is the Internal Revenue Service equipped to detect and prevent fraud as it processes millions of new claims for EITC benefits?
We appreciate your assistance in better understanding this issue and believe both Congress and the American people will benefit from a full accounting of the facts.

Many years ago I was exposed to ozone gas from a laser printer. After a bewildering array of medical issues was examined, it was found that I have Multiple Chemical Sensitive (MCS). After I had no more contact with the room housing the printers, I regained my health. The experience taught me to recognize my symptoms caused by toxins and to either remove the object or myself from the area. While most people show no immediate and obvious health issues, those of us with MCS are acutely aware of the toxins surrounding us. I can identify toxic items by their odor. My lips and tongue sting. When I am exposed to something that is particularly toxic my eyes water and even my teeth hurt.

I am an organic farmer and I raise earthworms to enhance my soil. For many years, I raised the earthworms in wooden boxes since I had access to untreated scrap lumber. When I moved over a thousand miles, I no longer had all the free lumber so I used some plastic containers. The worms grew quickly and much larger, but then turned white and died. After so many years of success I was puzzled. Then I started to think about the plastic containers I had used. I switched to boxes made from untreated lumber and once again I had healthy earthworms.

Autism is on the rise. There are many theories about this troubling trend. My MCS and a recent experience with polyurethane led me to ponder if there was a connection between plastics that cause my toxic symptoms and this syndrome that was largely unknown before the widespread use of plastics.

We got a new bed for our dog. I immediately experienced watering eyes, tingling lips and a headache. The tag revealed that the dog bed was stuffed with polyurethane. I have also noticed that I have similar symptoms when around my grandchildren’s stuffed toys. I have checked the tags and they are often stuffed with polyurethane or some other plastic. Parents won’t notice the issue unless they have MCS. Babies sleep on polyurethane foam mattresses, drink from plastic bottles and play with plastic toys and foam stuffed dolls.

I wonder if exposure to plastics at a vulnerable age could be linked to the dramatic increase in autism. With herbicide (a hormone) found in Mother Breast milk and blood, can the two or combination of them cause the predicted increase of autism to 50% of children by 2025?  Children’s cancer is also on the rise. Just maybe something is being lost in the research.

Donald went to Computer night school starting in 1964 and finished in 1966, working as a computer operator in computer technology and retired in 1993. He now has a four acre organic farm and gardens in Goode, Virginia and out-grows all chemical gardeners. Soil test are proof you don’t need anything but organic matter.

My work and my thoughts lately have turned toward a now constant focus on the concepts of organization, more in respect to underlying philosophy rather than hard, fast rules and structures. If you are one of the slithering acolytes of political theory elitist Saul Alinsky (and you haven’t felt the inclination to jump face first into the nearest punji pit), then the primary tool of organization for you is to lie, and to lie often. Tricking people into action using false premises, telling people what they want to hear rather than opening their eyes to reality, is perhaps the easiest way to build a movement. Of course, that movement will eventually destroy itself as the lies begin to inhibit progress rather than inspire it. But in most cases, by the time the organization self-destructs it has already been exploited for the nefarious purpose it was intended.

For the liberty movement, the movement against globalization and forced centralization of financial and political power, lies are simply not an option. The internationalists have already cornered the market on lies, so we must take a completely contrary approach. We must organize around the truth, no matter how painful it happens to be. This is a much more difficult prospect, one many people don’t understand or appreciate.

There are a lot of complaints in the movement about the lack of what they consider effective organization, and the frustration is in some ways beginning to evolve into fear. Here are some core inconsistencies I believe are at the heart of organizational problems within the liberty movement and what we can do to solve them.

Re-examining Our Concept Of Real Organization

For multiple generations, Americans and most of the rest of the world have been conditioned to believe that organization is a top-down affair that requires a central leadership that hands orders across the ranks of a rigid structure. The people within the structure operate as parts of a greater machine, and the success of the machine is (supposedly) directly related to how close the smaller parts (people) work together and follow those orders. Unfortunately, many activists in the liberty movement also assume that this is what an organization is and how it works.

Surely, there is a need for people with a talent to inspire others to thought and to action. But these men and women are nothing unless they can motivate individuals to eventually take their own initiative without orders. A true leader is a teacher — nothing more. And if he really cares about the future prosperity of the people he is teaching, that teacher’s objective will be for his students to exceed his own capabilities and to become independent in their accomplishments.

For a movement driven by a desire for the preservation of freedom and sovereignty, organization requires structure, but not rigidity or centralized leadership. The collectivist model of the human machine or hive is a flawed model that oppresses individual contributions that could be revolutionary. The corporate model, for instance, is a perfect example of an organization built mostly on lies (just look at the inconsistencies of real debts versus real profits for most major companies) and that fuels itself on the integration of people as replaceable gears and bolts on a rusted, shuddering Ferris wheel ride. Corporations might appear to make money, but they never meet their ultimate potential as organizations because most of the people within them could not care less about the purpose or even health of the system as long as they continue to draw a paycheck. When an organization merely limps along on the thin thread of the survival principle, this is the opposite of success.

The liberty movement has to abandon outmoded and ill-conceived notions of mainstream organizational models and take more stock in decentralized activity. A lack of an arbitrarily designated pecking order or the pyramid scheme of top-down branching management is a good thing for our cause, not a disadvantage.

Legitimate Structure And Purpose

Just because a movement is decentralized does not mean it should lack a foundation, and that foundation should be composed of a primary purpose and a primary plan of action. This is where some liberty activists seem to become most nihilistic in their thinking.

They have been looking for top-down leadership, which doesn’t exist and shouldn’t exist. They have been looking for a set plan of attack, which no one can seem to agree on. And they moan relentlessly about what they see as the lack of a singular, universal vision of what the ultimate goal should be. I have heard the argument more than once that the liberty movement will fail because victory would require us to all agree on one ideological vision and a rather singular strategy. What they don’t appear to realize is that a vision and strategy already exist that most of us agree on.

Again, our society has been conditioned to see through only a very narrow window of what constitutes organization that demands we adhere to the top-down philosophy. However, most liberty activists already agree on the bottom-up goal of self-reliance and self-sufficiency in all things, from food and water to education, security and governance.

There will be no mass majority movement on Washington in a “V for Vendetta”-style march led by some heroic masked man. And even if there were, it would accomplish nothing unless the top of the globalist pyramid was toppled (Occupy Wall Street is a good example of how such theatrics fail). This goal of a mass awakening is a common fantasy and an impractical one; but self-sufficiency, mutual aid and mutual defense are realistic efforts, given the likely short amount of time we have left. The universal vision is right in front of our faces and always has been: to break away from the corrupt mainstream system, to remove our dependency, to provide our own necessities and, thus, to remove our consent.

Every liberty proponent in America should be able to pursue this goal without prompting from any centralized leadership, and it encompasses every aspect of the fight against tyranny. Make your family self-sufficient and secure without aid of government. Make your neighborhood self-sufficient and secure. Make your town or county self-sufficient and secure. If the elites try to stop you, fight back and from a position on the moral high ground. If enough communities defend themselves the prospect of martial law or totalitarian control becomes systemically impossible, politically and strategically. I rarely run into liberty advocates who disagree with this plan, yet they do nothing and refuse to even make the attempt because they are still waiting around for someone to give them a plan. Stop waiting around for the next Gandhi or George Washington and do what you already know needs to be done. It is truly as simple as that.

Changing Our Idea Of Leadership

As stated earlier, you do not need a man on a white horse to ride in and save you from the terrifying idea of self-responsibility. If you are waiting for someone to come down off the mountain with magical stone tablets and lead you to the promised land, you are going to find yourself rather disappointed. Despite popular belief, men do not organize other men; only ideas given focus organize men. Men rally around that which they love or that which they hate. Leadership is often incidental, or sadly, manipulative.

So, by extension, we can conclude that to develop a strong organization, the ideal must be honest and honorable, the plan must be decentralized and natural for individuals to implement, and those who coordinate the organizational efforts must do so with the realization that they are stewards of the principles of that movement and that those principles are more important than their glory. If activists plan to become followers of anything, it should be solid principles. Leaders are secondary.

Destructive Egomania

In my time in the movement, I have seen relatively good men with sound ideals exhibit insane behavior and absurd motives when exposed to a mere 15 minutes of fame. Ego is truly the greatest Achilles’ heel of any activist organization. This is a fact that corrupt governments are highly aware of.

If you look into the history of the FBI’s subversive Cointelpro efforts from the 1950s onward, you will find a common tactic used to dismantle anti-establishment groups, which is to sow discord among organizers and coordinators by feeding egos and turning them against each other. Like the ring of power in the “Lord of The Rings” books, the desire for leadership can blind people to the greater cause. They develop delusions of grandeur, thinking they are the next guru, the next prophet, the next man to lead the charge to permanent historical stardom. Each person believes that if only he had the ring, if only he were the leader, he could resist the temptations of power and achieve what others could not. And so he refuses to work with others or to share the stage, or he even attempts to subvert or co-opt the legitimate accomplishments of more capable men.

The only solution is to cast off the ring forever, to care nothing for the supposed glories of leadership and to work only for the betterment of others.

I have also seen people within the movement fall victim to the admiration of their own fan base. Positive feedback from readers is certainly helpful, but I would be writing everything I write now even if every email I received were laced with vitriol (sometimes they are). The truth does not require fans; it functions fine without them. Liberty champions do, on occasion, receive letters of adoration — from being compared to Thomas Paine all the way to being labeled the next Jesus (the former being flattering and the latter being just plain weird). The problem is not public appreciation; it is the cult of celebrity that many Americans have grown too attached to, as well as the fact that some activists in more public positions have a hard time handling positive attention without their heads expanding 10 sizes too big.

The fact is I don’t matter, liberty leaders and personalities don’t matter, the limelight doesn’t matter, and the level of our fan base doesn’t matter. All that matters is how effectively and efficiently we can get the facts to the public. Organization suffers when the cult of celebrity takes over, whether in the minds of activists or in the minds of the people who represent them in the media.

Fear Of Risk Leads To Inaction

In my work with groups such as Oath Keepers and its Community Preparedness Team program, I have taken what some might consider sizable risks, and I have witnessed others who have gone even further. And in this risk I have seen the kinds of progress in organization I have never seen anywhere else. Without risk, there can be no organization against tyranny and, thus, no chance of success. If you are afraid to be put on the naughty list in the National Security Agency database, if you are afraid you might lose your job, if you are afraid you might be labeled an “extremist” or if you are afraid of uneducated public perception and this has prevented you from building mutual aid and defense groups where you live, then you have already lost everything. Fear leads to inaction, and inaction is death.

I have even witnessed members of organizations attempt to prevent others from taking positive measures like training for community defense because they are so fearful of what might happen due to their affiliation they will actually work against the better goals of the people around them. All I can say is that fear-driven people have to be removed from organizational environments, or they will poison the waters until the entire venture flatlines. Risk is inevitable. It is unavoidable. All anti-establishment, anti-tyranny movements depend on it. The more people willing to take risks, the more effectively “safe” that risk becomes. This includes the fear of defense and the fear of losing one’s life in the process. Every scenario, even the worst-case scenario, has to be considered and then set aside as irrelevant. Fear has no place in the minds or actions of liberty champions. Remove fear, and world-changing organization becomes possible.

General Mills Starts Pulling Preservatives After Assault From Food Babe Army

If you’ve heard of the Vani “Food Babe” Hari, you’ll remember her recent rise to nefarious national notoriety with her campaign to expose the (allegedly) dirty truth about Pumpkin Spice Lattes and their caramel coloring.
Yesterday, the PSL truther and general of the “Food Babe Army” launched an assault on General Mills and Kellogg’s over a preservative called Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT). The chemical keeps cereals like Rice Krispies fresh for longer on the shelf, but has been banned in many parts of the world for having wreaked havoc during animal testing.
When Ms. Hari initially reached out to General Mills a few weeks back, they told her not to sweat it, and that BHT was FDA-approved. So she launched a petition yesterday shortly before noon to have BHT removed from all General Mills and Kellogg’s products.
Only a few hours later, when the petition had racked up about 17,000 signatures, General Mills started sending out this exact message to anyone who tweeted at them about BHT:

So, we gave Ms. Hari a call for the post-mortem on her latest conquest along the Food Babe warpath:
Your army of followers acted quickly on this one. Was there a lot of rallying-the-troops before hand?
I put it up totally unannounced. One thing I have to be cognizant of now is announcing too soon, because I’m under a lot of scrutiny. Being a food activist, I need to have my ducks in a row.
Right, the last time you made headlines was with your Pumpkin Spice Latte campaign, which wasn’t exactly a resounding success…
Actually, it was! People don’t think that, but I didn’t even have to start a petition, all I did was write a blog post. After it went viral, Starbucks said they put a team in place to remove caramel coloring and post ingredients online for this.
But they haven’t yet. They say they’re going to do certain things, but it’s like, “Did you really mean that? Or did you say it to USA Today so that you’d look good?”
Has there been any pushback from your attack on BHT yet?
Not yet, which is pretty amazing—but I really did my homework. I have an advisory council now, and I consult with doctors and scientists before I launch a petition like this. I make sure I have all of my sources backed up, and I put them at the bottom of the post so everyone could go read the studies.
This is not something that’s made up, or is exaggerated. I have pictures from all of the cereals that do not have this additive. We called General Mills and Kellogg’s. I looked into the European Safety Database. This is true research that’s been done on this additive.

BHT has been on my radar for quite a while since I wrote about it in 2013, comparing products in the US to products in Europe. They have tighter regulations in Europe because they operate on a precautionary principle. There, products are guilty until proven innocent. Here’s, it’s the reverse.
So what really upset me is this double-standard: They’ll make the same product for a different country and make it safer for people across the globe, but not us. Everything from Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Golden Grahams to seemingly health-conscious cereals like Cheerios Protein and Wheeties and Wheat Chex.
General Mills acted way fast on this one. Have you heard anything from Kellogg’s?
Not a peep, but I can’t imagine what’s happening behind closed doors.
Update: General Mills told the Observer that Ms. Hari didn’t factor into their decision-making at all, and that this has been something in the works for a long time. Their statement in full:

BHT is an FDA-approved food ingredient, but we’re already well down the path of removing it from our cereals. This change is not for safety reasons, but because we think consumers will embrace it. We’ve never spoken with Vani Hari and she did not play any role in our decision. Many of our US Cereals do not contain BHT including: Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Trix, Kix and Lucky Charms. Our removal of BHT from cereals is well underway and has been for more than a year.

Ms. Hari says this is a “hilarious” response, and not the one she received in an email just a few weeks back.
“Before, it was, ‘These ingredients were safe,'” Ms. Hari said. “Now it’s, ‘They’re safe, but we’re going to take them out.’ This is the typical PR line to save face. They think I’ll back off, but they still haven’t given a timeline.”

Obama Compares Islamic Violence to Christians and May Have Tipped His Hand

It never ceases to amaze me how people at will distort history. It is understandable that there are some who take events from the past and set those events in our era and time. They will take such events as General Jackson's treatment of the Seminoles in Florida, for example. Many who do not like Jackson.  The 'president' will use his ruthlessness toward these native Americans as proof that Jackson was a bad man. They conveniently leave out the murdered farmers and people of southern Georgia that Jackson was sent to protect.

It is worse when people take events and misrepresent them simply for their own agenda. They not only rip them from their historical context, they repaint history. A good example of this would be the false view that the Crusades were the Christian’s idea. That one day the Pope or whoever up and decided it was time to invade Palestine and slaughter thousands of 'tolerant, peaceful Muslims'.  This is what the 'president' has done at the National Prayer Breakfast.


Fox reports:    The 'president' also issued a word of warning to Christians.......


“And lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place – remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ.”


This means that our President follows the Muslim accounting of the history of the Crusades. Obama is towing the Muslim line that Christians invaded Muslim lands and murdered them simply to steal the land. This is a lie. It was quit the opposite. In the 7^th century, it was the Muslims who conquered Persia and parts of the Byzantine Empire.


In 1009, under the order of Caliph al Hakim, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem was destroyed. This ignited widespread persecution by Muslims against Christians. This violence was tolerated for 90 years before the church in Europe acted. Though just like with any war, there were things done that would cause us to cringe and question. Yet for the 'president' to take these events and support the Muslim view of history says a lot.


Fox further reports:  He also chided the United States, “our home country.”
“Slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ,” he added.

Some will say that the President was simply pointing out that there are some who have even distorted Christ’s teaching. And I can see that, but it seems that as has been the case many times before, Obama sees himself as a defender Islam. And this is not being paranoid, because I have not told you the most troubling part.


Fox quotes Obama saying:

“We are summoned to push back against those who would distort our religion for their nihilistic ends.”

Now, it is very easy to take this statement and make it say more than was intended. The President could have been simply saying that, “we all have to stop those who would distort each of our religions.” But, no matter how hard Washington and Hollywood have tried to convince America that the fundamentalist are dangerous, no one is buying it.


It seems that it is only the distorted religion of Islam, which is being practiced as it has been for 1400 years, that is nihilistic. And yes, maybe it is Obama’s religion, I can say that for sure.  It does seem troubling though that he continues to carry water for the Muslim, even if he is not Muslim himself.
And more importantly, does the 'president' think that the Crusades justify what these madmen are doing? If not, why did he bring it up. Seems like typical liberal justifying. They were victims and so now this is the outcome. As they say in North Carolina "Hog Wash!"

OBAMA (ONCE AGAIN) STIRS UP CONTROVERSY AND POLITICAL (IN)CORRECTNESS

At Prayer Breakfast, Obama Serves up Controversy

 
NASCAR hall-of-famer Darrell Waltrip drove home the gospel message this morning at the 63^rd National Prayer Breakfast. To a crowded room, he shared his testimony about how a serious accident “knocked him conscious” of his spiritual state of being lost. In a moving testimony, Waltrip said he asked Jesus to forgive his sins and become his Savior, a decision that transformed his life. President Obama followed the NASCAR legend on the program, and the cautionary flags came out almost immediately. “We see faith driving us to do right,” he said.


“But we also see faith being twisted and distorted, used as a wedge -- or worse, sometimes used as a weapon… We see ISIL -- a brutal, vicious death cult that, in the name of religion…” If the President had stopped there or juxtaposed the present fruit of Islam with that of Christianity, we could have ended on a high note. But he didn’t.


In a speech that I can only describe as surreal, the President went on to liken Christians to the monsters behind ISIS and American racism. “And lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ.


In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.” First of all, the crusades were almost a thousand years ago. ISIS is killing today. What’s more, every true follower of Christ condemns the acts of barbarism committed under the mask of religion -- in medieval or American history. The teachings of Christianity do not call for, nor do they condone, brutality or bigotry. Can the same be said of Islam? Are Muslims around the world denouncing the ruthless and inhumane actions of ISIS?


Speaking under the influence of political correctness, the President missed an opportunity to address the growing threat that radical Islam presents to the world. He could have challenged the leaders from the 100-plus countries who were present this morning to stand united against this scourge. Let’s be clear: “faith” isn’t being used as a “weapon,” as he suggested. Islamists are using weapons to kill innocent women and children. And many of those innocent women and children happen to be Christians -- the same victims the President conveniently glosses over when he talks about persecution of other religious groups. Unfortunately, theirs is a plight that continues to be a footnote in the administration’s long chapter of religious liberty failures. While the President did manage to mention American pastor Saeed Abedini, who has been tortured for two years in an Iranian prison for his faith, he has yet to publicly demand his release. And Pastor Abedini is a U.S. citizen!


The attacks on conservatives were a bit more nuanced, but the jabs were unmistakable. Using religion as a cloak for his party’s social hypocrisy, he said, “There is a tendency in us, a sinful tendency that can pervert and distort our faith. In today’s world, when hate groups have their own Twitter accounts and bigotry can fester in hidden places in cyberspace, it can be even harder to counteract such intolerance.”


As for intolerance, the President didn’t seem to recognize his own administration’s, whose policies have been used as a bludgeon against men and women with biblical views. While Americans lose their businesses for exercising the rights he claims to defend, the President insisted that he will “constantly reaffirm… the freedom of religion -- the right to practice our faith how we choose, to change our faith if we choose, to practice no faith at all if we choose, and to do so free of persecution and fear and discrimination.” The Kleins, Stutzmans, Millers, Bracys, and dozens of others long to experience that kind of freedom. Instead, they’re closing their businesses, losing their homes, and paying crippling fines simply for living according to their moral conscience.


In the end, this event was about prayer. And if anything demonstrated America’s need for it, this breakfast did.
