Killed at 4, not because his father was a refugee but a "people-smuggler"  who just "took advantage of refugees." Can it get any more cynical?

The international news agency, Reuters, writes that the passengers of the now world famous Syrian boy - drowned Aylan Kurdi - say that his father really was not a refugee but a people smuggler, and turning the boat was entirely due to himself.  This places in a different light the already very inconsistent and dubious story about the drowning of two of his children.  "The story that the media told about Aylan's father is not true.  I do not know why he lied, maybe he was scared," said Ahmed Jawwad, who was also on board.

Note:  You have to ask yourself why are Muslims fleeing en masse now?  War has been going on in the middle east for many decades.  Why don't all the men who are fleeing stay and fight for their country?  Personally, I suspect a call went out to all Muslims in the middle east to relocate to western countries now under the ruse of escaping wars in order to spread the cause of Islam worldwide as part of having a worldwide.

Caliphate by 2023.  Muslims want to take over the world and they see this as a good time and a good way to get started. I suspect that's also why they are being brought to America because they know Obama only has one year left in office and if he is to succeed in helping their cause (by flying them over in airplanes at taxpayers' expense, nonetheless) -- to make America an Islamic nation by 2016 -- they have to move here now.  Notice it is mostly young men who are 'fleeing,' and many are turning out to be terrorists/ISIS supporters.  They probably plan to bring their many wives and kids over later after they settle somewhere. 

This present 'end time' massive immigration was prophesied by a 90-yr. old Norwegian woman based on a vision she received in 1968 which she stated would precede Jesus Christ's return.  Following is a short extract from the vision..................

An old woman of 90 from Valdres in Norway had a vision from God in 1968.  Evangelist Emanuel Minos had services where she lived.  He had the opportunity to meet her, and she told him what she had seen.  He wrote it down.  The woman from Valdres was a very alert, reliable, awake and credible Christian with a good reputation among all who knew her.  This is what she saw (extract only; go to link below for full prophecy):

They will also come to Scandinavia - and Norway.  There will be so many of them that people will begin to dislike them and become hard with them.  They will be treated like the Jews before the Second World War.  Then the full measure of our sins will have been reached (I protested at the issue of immigration.  I did not understand it at the time. - E. The tears streamed from the old woman’s eyes down her cheeks.  "I will not see it, but you will.  Then suddenly Jesus will come and the Third World War breaks out.  It will be a short war."  (She saw it in the vision.)  "All that I have seen of war before is only child’s play compared to this one, and it will be ended with a nuclear atom bomb.  The air will be so polluted that one cannot draw one’s breath.  It will cover several continents,  Japan, America, Australia and the wealthy nations.  The water will be ruined (contaminated?).  We can no longer till the soil.  [Ed., This could be why Jesus has been telling some Christians to stock up on dried foods; either for themselves or for those left behind.]  The result will be that only a remnant will remain.  The remnant in the wealthy countries will try to flee to the poor countries, but they will be as hard on us as we were on them.

"I am so glad that I will not see it but, when the time draws near, you must take courage and tell this.  I have received it from God, and nothing of it goes against what the Bible tells.  The one who has his sin forgiven and has Jesus as Savior and Lord is safe."

TEL AVIV – The seriousness with which the FBI and AT&T are treating the severing of fiber-optic communications cables in the San Francisco area indicates the sabotage could have been a dry run for a terrorist attack. This according to a leading homeland security and terrorism expert who has been sounding the alarm about imminent threats to the U.S. electric grid, some with the capacity to destroy the nation’s infrastructure.

Peter Pry, a former CIA officer, is executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security and director of the U.S. Nuclear Strategy Forum, both congressional advisory boards. He also served on the Congressional EMP Commission, the Congressional Strategic Posture Commission and the House Armed Services Committee.
“The FBI and AT&T are characterizing these attacks as a threat to public safety and considering all possibilities, ranging from a disgruntled former AT&T employee to terrorism,” Pry told WND.
“This is unusual for both the FBI and the utilities, (in) that are both always reluctant to publicly acknowledge the worst-case possibility,” he said.
On Monday, two AT&T fiber-optic cables in Livermore, California, Monday night were deliberately severed, the latest in a string of 14 other similar attacks on the infrastructure backbone of the Internet in California.
“It’s a serious matter and affects public safety at large,” AT&T spokesman Jim Greer said told USA Today on Tuesday.

The FBI described how an attacker opens a targeted underground cable vault, climbs inside and cuts through both the protective metal conduit inside and then severs the cable lines.
Michele Ernst, a spokeswoman for the FBI’s San Francisco field office, confirmed, “It’s being taken very seriously by the FBI and our law enforcement partners.”
The culprits would be subject to state and federal prosecution since the AT&T fiber-optic network is considered by law to be a critical component of the nation’s Internet infrastructure.
Pry pointed out the public information indicates “the person or persons attacking the cables is deliberately targeting them, knows where the underground cable junctions are located, knows how to gain access and knows which cables to cut.”
He noted that utility companies and law enforcement agencies have tried to minimize the seriousness of such criminal acts.
“In the recent past, utilities in the San Francisco area dismissed attacks on fiber optics communications cables as probable vandalism by thieves hoping to steal copper wire, who severed the fiber optics cables by accident,” he said.
Following the 2013 attack against the Metcalf transformer substation that provides electricity to the Silicon Valley and San Francisco area, Pry charged that “for months the electric utility PG&E tried to cover up the incident as vandalism.”
“Later, an investigation by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Navy Seals determined the attack on Metcalf was probably by well-trained terrorists or special forces, practicing for a larger future attack on the electric grid,” he said.
In the still largely unexplained attack April 16, 2013, on PG&E Corp’s Metcalf Transmission Substation outside of San Jose, California, a team of gunmen fired sniper and assault rifles, severely damaging 17 transformers.
Pry believes the attack could have been part of a terrorist group’s preparation for a future attack on the U.S. electrical grid.
Jon Wellinghoff, the former chairman of the U.S. agency responsible for grid security, also warned that the Metcalf attack was likely a dry run for a future large-scale attack.
On the same day as the Metcalf attack, North Korea flew its KSM-3 satellite on the optimum trajectory and altitude to evade U.S. radars and carry out a potential EMP attack drill.
“Today’s concern over attacks on fiber-optic cables in the San Francisco area coincides with renewed nuclear threats from North Korea,” Pry told WND.
Indeed, on Monday the director of the North Korean Atomic Energy Institute escalated the country’s anti-U.S. rhetoric.
“If the U..S and other hostile forces persistently seek their reckless hostile policy towards the DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) and behave mischievously, the DPRK is fully ready to cope with them with nuclear weapons any time,” the director said.
ISIS threat to U.S. power grid?
Regarding the threat to the U.S. electrical grid, a leaked U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission report divulged last March that coordinated terrorist attacks on just nine of the nation’s 55,000 electrical power substations could provoke coast-to-coast blackouts for up to 18 months.
Such an attack would mirror the devastating impact of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack without the need for any nuclear device or delivery system.
The congressional EMP Commission previously estimated that within 12 months of a nationwide blackout, upwards of 90 percent of the U.S. population could possibly die from disease, lack of food and resources and larger societal breakdown.
Speaking on this reporter’s radio show last August, Pry pointed specifically to the possibility of ISIS hiring Mexican extremists such as the Knights Templar drug cartel, which in 2013 successfully utilized guns and Molotov cocktails to attack numerous Mexican power stations, leaving 11 towns without electricity.
“Now those guys are just across our southern border,” stated Pry at the time.
Pry continued: “That means that ISIS doesn’t have to actually come to the United States on those U.S. passports. You know, Obama is always talking about how he’s got a phone. Well, ISIS has got a telephone, too. All they’ve got to do is contact the Knights Templar, wire these guys $10 million; I mean, they’ll do anything for money. And say, ‘Hey, go across that open U.S. border and take out the electric grid in Arizona, or New Mexico, or Minnesota or New York. Or the entire nation.’”
Pry surmised such an attack on the U.S. power grid “wouldn’t be difficult for them.”
“There are … open-source computer models where you can figure out which are those nine critical transformer substations where if attacked would take down the whole national power grid,” he said.
“So something like that could be arranged. It could happen tomorrow. It could happen next week.”
Pry pointed out ISIS allies in al-Qaida in June 2014 attacked power lines in Yemen that left the entire nation without power for a day.

16. Because our court system is now so corrupt, justice is rarely served and open persecution of God’s people is not only allowed, but sanctioned. Any name spoken, any religion believed in, EXCEPT JESUS CHRIST, is allowed and never prosecuted.

17. Because our government is attempting to divide the nation of Israel into two parts and wants to divide Jerusalem as well in spite of all the prophetic warnings of Scripture not to meddle with the Apple of God’s Eye.

18. Because America meddles in the affairs of sovereign nations around the world and is guilty of murder and mass murder all around the globe in the name of “national security.” The nations that we have subverted or destroyed for “regime change” will bring a payback, and soon.

Because our government has become the enemy of the people it swore to protect, and has designed plans for mass genocide of innocent people and has a blueprint for depopulation unheard of since the beginning of this world. They have established prison/concentration camps all over America, along with “collection centers” such as schools, stadiums, Wal-Marts, and shopping malls with guard towers being set up and fences being built. It is being done right in front of the American people who say nothing about it as their deaths draw nigh.

Study Finds Link Between Agent Orange and Blood Cancer

Scientists are more certain than ever that Agent Orange is causing cancer in Vietnam War veterans.
A recent study of 479 Vietnam veterans who were involved in Agent Orange defoliation efforts in that country found that these individuals are twice as likely to develop a blood condition known as monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance, or MGUS. The disorder is a precursor for multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.
During the Vietnam War, Agent Orange was used by U.S. forces to kill off trees and vegetation in the jungles of Vietnam and Cambodia that the enemy used as cover. The chemical is composed of several herbicides – including 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid – nicknamed for the orange stripe on the barrels in which they were stored. When these two herbicides are combined, they create a carcinogen dioxin known as TCDD, which is the most toxic of dioxins.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs recognizes that Agent Orange causes multiple myeloma, several types of leukemia, and other cancers, as well as diabetes, heart disease, and Parkinson’s disease. Veterans are supposed to receive care for their medical problems if they can prove they were exposed to the chemical, and they can get disability compensation.
For the study, 479 Americans involved in Operation Ranch Hand spraying missions were compared to 479 veterans who were not. Dr. Ola Landgren of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and colleagues found that 7% of Operation Ranch Hand vets had MGUS compared to only 3% of the other vets in the study.

“Our findings of increased MGUS risk among Ranch Hand veterans supports an association between Agent Orange exposure and multiple myeloma,” they wrote in the Journal of the American Medical Association’s JAMA Oncology.
“Most people who have MGUS will not develop multiple myeloma, but everyone who has myeloma first had MGUS,” Landgren said.

Approximately 30% of people with MGUS will go on to develop multiple myeloma within 30 years. Until now, there has been no scientific evidence that Agent Orange could cause the blood cancer. [2]
“It’s not proof, but it’s a good link to show there’s a connection,” said Dr. Nikhil Munshi, director of basic and correlative science at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jerome Lipper Multiple Myeloma Center in Boston. Munshi wrote an accompanying editorial to the study, which was published online Sept. 3 in JAMA Oncology.
Landgren and Munshi recommend that veterans exposed to Agent Orange have their blood tested for signs of MGUS. If the disorder is detected, they will need to schedule regular follow-ups to make sure their MGUS doesn’t progress to multiple myeloma.

A federal judge on Wednesday opened the door to the possibility that he might soon shut down the National Security Agency’s spy-on-Americans program that snatches cell-phone data across the nation.

It was what Judge Richard Leon wanted to do two years ago before he suspended his ruling to allow the government to appeal.
But on Wednesday, on instructions from an appeals court to conduct a hearing on discovery in the case brought by attorney Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch, Leon approved Klayman’s plan to file a fourth amendment complaint.
He also said he would expect a renewed motion for a preliminary injunction by the end of Monday, and the government’s response is due by Oct. 1.
Then a hearing on that issue is scheduled Oct. 8.
Klayman told WND after Wednesday’s hearing that the judge could issue an injunction at that time.
While Leon’s original decision was to issue an injunction against the program, which he called “almost Orwellian,” the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia disagreed.

But key was the fact that the appeals judges ruled on a technicality – standing – and not on the district court’s original determination.
The higher court had said Klayman used Verizon for his provider, when the claims that the government was sweeping up data involved Verizon Business Network.
Klayman has added plaintiffs using that network to satisfy that specific concern.
The Washington Examiner reported Klayman said after the hearing, “The reason for an injunction would be very simple. The government has to obey the Fourth Amendment no matter what law is in effect, whether it’s the old law or the USA Freedom Act.”
Leon had ruled in December 2013 that the NSA and other defendants had engaged in unconstitutional surveillance of the American public through indiscriminate access to telephonic metadata.
Klayman originally had sued the NSA, Barack Obama, then-Attorney General Eric Holder and a long list of other federal officials after the spy program was revealed by whistleblower Edward Snowden, who spilled the beans on much of the government’s Big Brother tactics, then fled to Russia.
Plaintiffs in the case include Klayman, Charles and Mary Ann Strange, Michael Ferrari, Matt Garrison and J.J. Little and other defendants include NSA chief Keith Alexander, U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court Judge Roger Vinson, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, CIA chief John Brennan, FBI chief James Comey, the Department of Justice, CIA and FBI.
Klayman obtained Leon’s ruling in late 2013 that the situation was “almost Orwellian” and said the spying likely was unconstitutional.
Klayman’s recent submission in the case explains of the NSA spy program, “Such broad and intrusive collections and surveillance tactics, without regard to any showing of probable cause, much less a reasonable suspicion of communications with terrorists or the commission of another crime, directly violate the U.S. Constitution and also federal laws, including, but not limited to, the … breach of privacy, freedom of speech, freedom of association and the due process rights of American citizens.
“Plaintiffs are suing for damages, declaratory, equitable and injunctive relief to stop this illegal conduct and hold defendants, individually and collectively, responsible for their unconstitutional surveillance, which has violated the law and damaged the fundamental freedoms and rights of American citizens.”
Snowden blew the whistle on the agency’s vacuum-cleaner approach to data collection, called “bulk telephony metadata.” That was earlier in 2013, and Snowden has been living in exile in Russia as a wanted man by the U.S. government ever since.
Two of America’s influential civil-rights groups, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, have sided with Klayman.
The data that the NSA collects, they explained in a brief, “reveals political affiliation, religious practices and peoples’ most intimate associations.”
“It reveals who calls a suicide prevention line and who calls their elected official; who calls the local tea-party office and who calls Planned Parenthood.”
The brief said “the relevant fact for whether an expectation of privacy exists is that the comprehensive telephone records the government collects – not just the records of a few calls over a few days but all of a person’s calls over many years – reveals highly personal information about the person and her life.”

An eye-witness account from

Kamil Bulonis, a Polish travel blog writer was present on the Italian-Austrian border on September 5, 2015, as swarms of Third World migrants poured across the border to invade Austria and Germany.

“Half an hour ago, on the border between Italy and Austria, I saw with my own eyes a great many immigrants.  With all solidarity with people in difficult circumstances, I have to say that what I saw arouses horror!

This huge mass of people, sorry, that I’ll write this.  But these are absolute savages!  Vulgar, throwing bottles, shouting loudly “We want to Germany!” and is Germany a paradise now?

I saw how they surrounded a car of an elderly Italian woman, pulled her by her hair out of the car and wanted to drive away in the car. They tried to overturn the bus where in I travelled myself with a group of others. They were throwing feces at us, banging on the doors to force the driver to open them, spat at the windscreen!

I ask for what purpose? How is this savagery to assimilate in Germany? I felt for a moment like I was in a war!

I really feel sorry for these people but, if they reached Poland, I do not think that they would get any understanding from us.

We were waiting three hours at the border which we ultimately could not cross.  Our whole group was transported back to Italy in a police-cordon. The bus is damaged, covered with feces, scratched with broken windows. And this is supposed to be an idea for demographics? These big powerful hordes of savages?

Among them there were virtually no women, no children.

The vast majority were aggressive young men! Just yesterday, while reading about them on all the websites I subconsciously felt compassion, worried about their fate.  But today after what I saw I am just afraid and yet I am happy that they did not choose our country as their destination.

We Poles are simply not ready to accept these people, neither culturally nor financially.  I do not know if anyone is ready for this. To the EU a pathology is marching which we had not yet had a chance to see ever before.

And I am sorry if anyone gets offended by his entry.

I can add that cars arrived with humanitarian aid, mainly food and water. But they were just overturning those cars. Through megaphones the Austrians announced that there is permission for them to cross the border.  They wanted to register them and let them go on,

but they did not understand these messages. They did not understand anything.

And this was the greatest horror!  For among those thousands of people, nobody understood Italian or English, or German, or Russian, or Spanish!  What mattered was fist law!  They fought for permission to move on and they had this permission! But did not realize that they had it!

They opened the luggage hatches of a French bus and everything that was inside was stolen within short time. Some things were left lying on the ground!  Never before in my short life have I had an opportunity to see such scenes.  And I feel that this is just the beginning.”

"We'll welcome help from al-Qaeda, but not Russia"

Less than two weeks before the 14th anniversary of 9/11, General Petraeus announced that the US should forge an alliance with al-Qaeda to fight ISIS.
A US alliance with al-Qaeda?
Well, why not? Al-Qaeda had nothing to do with 9/11.
Better idea: Let’s forge an alliance with al-Qaeda to fight the neoconservatives – the folks who actually pulled off the murderous 9/11 deception.
But seriously, folks, Gen. Petraeus must be really, REALLY scared of ISIS if he thinks the only way to beat them is to make friends with al-Qaeda.
Maybe we should bring Bin Laden back from his alleged watery grave and have him magically cause ISIS’s buildings to explode into powder through the path of most resistance at free-fall acceleration?
Wait a minute…ISIS doesn’t have any tall buildings.
On the other hand, an explosive controlled demolition of their tents, conducted by a dead guy hooked up to an underwater dialysis machine with seaweed dripping from his beard, would scare the hell out of them.
Bottom line: ISIS is so evil we will hook up with anyone, ANYONE, to fight them. Anyone except Russia, that is.

Press TV has interviewed Kevin Barrett, an author and Middle East expert, in Madison, and political commentator Jihad Mouracadeh in Beirut to discuss a dispute between Russia and the US over fighting Daesh (ISIL) terrorists in Syria.
Barrett says that there is “great outrage” in Washington over Russia’s military backing of the Syrian government in their fight against Daesh, just as they were angry at Iran and Hezbollah for their support for Damascus.
He says that the Russians are “clearly” helping Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and seeking to stabilize the situation in the war-torn country by sending a strong message to the West, which has “destabilized Syria in attempt to overthrow its government.”
“The Russians have said enough is enough! You have utterly annihilated Iraq (and Libya)… the buck stops here, you are not going to do the same to Syria,” he maintains.
The US is behind the ongoing conflict in Syria and former director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) General David Petraeus’ call on the US to cooperate with al- Qaeda is enough proof, the analyst argues.
He says the Daesh terrorist group is becoming a “Frankenstein’s monster.”
“[The] US and its allies created the ISIL and the ISIL is a tool of destabilization that may have already served its purpose to the point that they are ready to try and clean it back up,” he adds.
The White House uses Daesh to “ruin” countries which do not serve Israeli interests like Syria, he says.
Mouracadeh, for his part, says that Russia is building a military base in Syria. He claims that Moscow is not in Syria to fight Daesh, but to consolidate its own position because the Assad government “is not able to hold it anymore.”
He says it is “a little bit too late” for Russia to join the ongoing air strikes against the terrorist group, and even now Moscow must first coordinate with NATO and the US to carry out such operations.

Press TV has interviewed Kevin Barrett, an editor at Veterans Today, in Madison, to discuss Washington’s recent accusations about Russia’s “military buildup” in Syria.
Following is a rough transcription.
Press TV: It seems that the US is accusing Russia of a military buildup in Syria, especially in Latakia and near the capital Damascus. Moscow, of course, denies that but the question is why is Washington so afraid of a military buildup given that Syria is itself a victim of ISIL and is fighting it?
Barrett: That is right. It is a very paradoxical situation. We have the American side claiming that the so-called war on terror has moved into a new phase and the new enemy is ISIL. And that is what is being used to propagandize the American people against Islam, to propagandize the American people for more military spending and we are hearing the Republican presidential candidates trying to one-up each other in exaggerating the threat to civilization and humanity coming from the ISIL.
And yet at the same time, the US government is basically supporting ISIL and basically created it to destabilize Syria in an attempt to overthrow the government of President Assad. So it really doesn’t make a lot of sense. And every time somebody actually tries to fight against ISIL, whether it would be Hezbollah, or the government of Syria or now Russia, it seems that the Americans are not happy. So they have a lot of explaining to do to the American voters.
On the one hand, they are telling us that we must fight ISIL – and then when Syria, Hezbollah or Russia actually tries to help out fighting ISIL or it appears that it is what is happening, they complain about it. So somebody really needs to ask some hard questions from the people in Washington.
Press TV: The US along with its regional Arab allies and Turkey is funding and training terrorists whom it calls moderate rebels which are actually the opposition in Syria. They claim to be trained to fight ISIL or Daesh but they can also be used to topple the Syrian government and they can also turn out to be terrorists like what happened with al-Qaeda. However, when it comes to Russia, and its sending in any kind of support to the government against the terrorists, the West becomes very concerned about it.
Barrett: That is right and now we are hearing about a rehabilitation of al-Qaeda. We are hearing American policy makers suggesting that it is time to help the al-Nusra Front which is now fighting with ISIL, but of course, that is an al-Qaeda group. We are told here in America that it was al-Qaeda that attacked the world trade center and murdered 3,000 Americans on September 11, 2001. Of course, that is not true, but that is the propaganda line we get in the mainstream media.
So yes, they are not admitting that they are helping ISIL, but they are admitting that they are also helping all these other Syrian groups, including al-Qaeda and al-Nusra Front and the so-called moderate rebels are really not a very important force in Syria.
What we are really seeing is a destabilization program. We have seen this over and over in history when the United States empire, which is not run on behalf of the people of the United States, feels that it needs to overthrow a foreign government that isn’t obsequious enough in its relations with Washington, they destabilize the country. They are a lot of means of doing that; trashing the country’s economy, stirring up trouble with labor unions, doing false-flag terror attacks… now there are a million ways to destabilize a country and Syria has gotten that same treatment that has been mitted out to some countries in the past and it has gotten them even worse.

The Great Depression. We have all heard about it. But can you imagine what it would have been like to have lived through it? Last week marks 85 years since the official start of the Great Depression. Looking at photos from Black Tuesday (October 29th, 1929) the day the stock market collapsed gives a little insight to how it must have felt . The confusion and fear can be seen on people's faces.

Jury couldn't reach a unanimous decision despite footage of officer slamming elderly man face first into concrete

Back in February we reported on the shocking footage of a police officer in Alabama sweeping out the legs of an frail elderly man and slamming his face into the concrete, for no other reason that he did not understand what the officer was saying to him.

The incident left the man partially paralyzed and unable to walk, needing months of rehabilitation. Ironically, all Sureshbhai Patel was doing was taking a walk around his son’s neighborhood. Some busy body neighbor didn’t like the look of Patel and called the cops.
Mr Patel was severely injured and had to undergo surgery to fuse two vertebrae due to swelling in his spine.
Eventually the officer, Eric Parker, was arrested for assault and indicted on one count of felony use of unreasonable force.
Media coverage of the story forced Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley (R) to formally apologize to the Indian government, given that Mr Patel was visiting his son, an American citizen, shortly after the birth of Mr Patel’s grandson.
To any reasonable person, the footage of the incident clearly shows it to be an open and shut case of excessive force. Mr Patel had done nothing wrong and was attacked by officer Parker because he did not respond (not understanding much English) and tried to pull away from the cop.
Jurors assigned to the case were not so sure, however. Being swayed by claims from defense attorneys who claimed officer Parker was frightened of the elderly man and acted to ensure his own safety.
“This was an escalated police action based on what Mr. Patel did,” Robert Tuten, Parker’s attorney, said during closing arguments.
The officer also testified that he lost his balance, as he took down Mr Patel, causing the take down to be much more severe than he had intended.
It seems the jury bought this, because they have been unable to come to a decision on four separate occasions, prompting U.S. District Court Judge Madeline Haikala to declare a mistrial.
“The government will retry the case,” the U.S. attorney’s office in the Northern District of Alabama said in a statement. “We look forward to having another jury hear the evidence.”
