Weapons Headed to Libya – Hillary Clinton’s Interventionist Disaster Continues to Spiral Out of Control

In retrospect, Obama’s intervention in Libya was an abject failure, judged even by its own standards. Libya has not only failed to evolve into a democracy; it has devolved into a failed state. Violent deaths and other human rights abuses have increased severalfold. Rather than helping the United States combat terrorism, as Qaddafi did during his last decade in power, Libya now serves as a safe haven for militias affiliated with both al Qaeda and the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). The Libya intervention has harmed other U.S. interests as well: undermining nuclear nonproliferation, chilling Russian cooperation at the UN, and fueling Syria’s civil war.

As bad as Libya’s human rights situation was under Qaddafi, it has gotten worse since NATO ousted him. Immediately after taking power, the rebels perpetrated scores of reprisal killings, in addition to torturing, beating, and arbitrarily detaining thousands of suspected Qaddafi supporters. The rebels also expelled 30,000 mostly black residents from the town of Tawergha and burned or looted their homes and shops, on the grounds that some of them supposedly had been mercenaries. Six months after the war, Human Rights Watch declared that the abuses “appear to be so widespread and systematic that they may amount to crimes against humanity.”

As a consequence of such pervasive violence, the UN estimates that roughly 400,000 Libyans have fled their homes, a quarter of whom have left the country altogether.

Earlier today, The Guardian published an article detailing how foreign leaders were gathering in Vienna to discuss how to address the humanitarian disaster/ISIS haven they themselves created in Libya. As usual, the key agenda item revolved around whether the U.S. and its allies should ship weapons into the arena to inspire, you know, freedom and democracy.
Reading the piece leaves you with a clear sense of what a quagmire it really is. For example:

Leading foreign ministers from Europe and the Middle East are to meet in Vienna on Monday under the joint chairmanship of the US and Italy to discuss how to bolster support for the UN-backed Libyan government in the face of deepening splits in the country over political legitimacy, oil resources and Islamic State.
Special forces from the US, UK, France and Italy are operating in various parts of Libya, sometimes backing different military forces and hindering efforts to reunite Libyan politics behind the UN government of Fayez al-Sarraj.

Remember this paragraph for later.

Sarraj has been trying to broaden his authority in Tripoli since he and his political allies arrived in late March, taking over key institutions such as the central bank and the National Oil Corporation, but he still faces a rival administration, and military power, in the east. Disputes between the factions are such that bankers on one side are depriving the other access to the code to a bank vault containing badly needed cash to pay staff. Different groups are also trying to export oil.
Officials say that at the Vienna meeting on Monday, which will be held under the joint chairmanship of the US and Italy, the fledgling Tripoli administration is likely to submit a list of requests for western partners to assist its forces with arms, training and intelligence. The meeting will be chaired by the US secretary of state, John Kerry, and the Italian foreign minister, Paolo Gentiloni.
The Libyan government – the putative Government of National Accord (GNA) – has struggled to take hold because a minority of the House of Representatives – the Libyan parliament – has refused to provide its backing, leaving the government without the majority required.
In a further complication some western-backed countries, notably the UAE and Egypt, are backing a bigger role for the rival forces of General Khalifa Haftar’s Libyan National Army based in the east.
In a new development the rival military factions from east and west claim to be gathering forces to take on Isis at its base in Sirte on the Libyan coast, but there are fears that they will end up fighting each other.

You really can’t make this stuff up.
Fortunately, a fleeting voice of sanity emerged from the wilderness.

But in a country overflowing with arms, some argue that lifting an embargo is unwise.
Before the summit, Mattia Toaldo, a policy fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, urged the west to hold back from focussing on military solutions. He said: “Europeans now have what they asked for, namely a unity government ruling from the capital. They should take care not to burden it with unrealistic demands, from ending the migrant crisis to defeating Isis. Instead, the west should work to strengthen the government’s political control over the country.”

Good suggestion, but I think we’ll pass. As Bloomberg reports, prepare to open the weapons floodgates…

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry backed providing weapons to Libya’s unity government to assist in the fight against Islamic State and other jihadist groups, a move endorsed at a meeting of top diplomats of nations from Italy and the U.K. to Russia and Saudi Arabia.
The idea “makes sense,” Kerry said after talks in Vienna with the head of the unity administration, Fayez al-Sarraj, and representatives of more than 20 nations. Sarraj said his Government of National Accord would supply the United Nations with a list of weapons it needs “as soon as possible.” The UN would have to provide exemptions to an arms embargo before weapons could be shipped.

The envoys met in the Austrian capital to discuss ways to bolster Sarraj’s UN-backed government, the most significant attempt so far to end the violence that has fractured Libya since the ouster of former leader Muammar Qaddafi in 2011. But Sarraj has yet to win the support of powerful armed factions based in Libya’s east, which are contesting control of the crucial oil industry. 

Gotta love the media. They make is sound as if Libya just stumbled into its current situation via some freak historical accident. In reality, we know the whole thing is essentially the handiwork of Presidential candidate, and neocon warmonger extraordinaire, Hillary Clinton.

“It is imperative to put the international community’s full weight behind the Government of National Accord,” Kerry said. “It is the only way to ensure that vital institutions such as the central bank and the national oil company, that they fall under representative and acknowledged authority.”

The central bank and Libyan oil. At least he’s honest about what matters.

The unity government was formed under a UN-mediated peace deal last year. The agreement is backed by Western allies as the only way to stem spiraling unrest that has plagued the North African nation and enabled Islamic State to expand along the southern Mediterranean coast.

Once again, Bloomberg acts as if this unrest just spontaneously erupted out of nowhere.

Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni, who joined the gathering of diplomats at the roughly three-hour meeting in Vienna, ruled out a wholesale lifting of the UN arms embargo but said humanitarian aid and weapons could help Sarraj’s government bring stability to the country.
Speaking at the briefing with Kerry and Sarraj, Gentiloni also ruled out putting “boots on the ground” in Libya, while pledging support in “several security dimensions.”
“The international community stands ready and the U.S. stands ready to provide humanitarian, economic and security support,” said Kerry, who added that nobody is talking about inserting troops into the conflict.

What a relief. At least Kerry and Gentiloni are promising no boots on the ground! There’s just one minor problem. Recall what we learned from The Guardian article earlier. Yeah that’s right, this…

So not only are there already Western boots on the ground, but these boots are fighting each other.

Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook told reporters in Washington on Monday that “small teams of U.S. forces” already have gone into Libya to gather intelligence on the ground about Islamic State forces expanding their foothold in the country.
“If Syria and Iraq would end tomorrow, then Libya would definitely be No. 1” for Islamic State, he said. “Libya is very much already a hub.”

Yes, America, they really do think you’re that stupid. They think you’re such schmucks, you’ll still vote for Hillary despite the fact that she was the driving force behind the Libya intervention while Secretary of State.

RUSSUA SAVING WORLD FROM TOTAL WAR

May 16, 2016 "Information Clearing House" - "Sputnik" - The deployment this week of a US missile system in Eastern Europe is another step towards all-out global war. Despite Western propaganda demonizing Russia, the truth is that it is Russian military might that is actually holding the line to prevent such a cataclysm.

The United States and its NATO allies are already at war with Russia. This is not hyperbole. It is fact. The US and its allies are amassing weapons and troops on Russia’s borders, and engaging in simulated attacks from various directions.
 

Orwellian language of “war games” in Western media serves to diminish the disturbing fact that NATO forces are preparing offensive strikes on Russia.

War machinery on both sides are locked on. The encounter last month of the US warship with Russian fighter jets in the Baltic Sea is but one of many such close encounters occurring almost every week. Granted, weapons have not actually been fired yet. Nevertheless, the weapon machinery is engaged.

Again, Western media serve to normalize what is a balefully abnormal situation. At the behest of Washington, the Western countries are trying to blockade Russia with economic sanctions. This is just another provocative act of war.

Moreover, diplomatic channels between Washington and Moscow seem attenuated to levels as low as at any time during the former Cold War. Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov has apparently maintained a cordial working relationship with his American counterpart John Kerry, but apart from that individual rapport the bilateral position between the two powers has sunken to an all-time low.

Another manifestation of war is the US proxy conflict with Russia in Syria and Ukraine. On the surface there may be talk about ceasefires and political solutions, but make no mistake the jihadist mercenaries and the neo-Nazi Kiev regime are nonetheless American military assets ever-poised to attack Russia’s geo-strategic interests.

The move this week by Washington to activate its long-anticipated missile system in Eastern Europe is another act of aggression in a whole panoply of offensive actions. US and NATO officials deny that the Aegis system is targeting Russia, and make the ludicrous claim that it is to defend Europe against Iranian ballistic rockets or some other “rogue state”. Such transparent, deceitful nonsense.

Russia rightly dismisses Washington and NATO’s cynical assurances. The Kremlin this week said that the installation of the US missile system is a direct threat to Russia’s security. Moscow said it would take counter-measures to restore the strategic balance of nuclear deterrence. It was no coincidence that official Russian reports disclosed details of a new hypersonic Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile that could penetrate any American missile shield to deliver a warhead capable of destroying an area the size of Texas or France.

This is not irresponsible Russian bravado. It is vital that Russia lets aggressive Washington know that any future war moves will be met with equal or greater force. Of course, the outcome would be an all-out nuclear war which could destroy the planet as we know it. But the only way of saving the peace and the planet is for Russia to show that it has the military might to face down any American belligerence.

The upgrade of Russian military power under President Vladimir Putin is perhaps the only thing that is holding back the push for all-out war by the US.

And let’s face it. It is the US that is the source of belligerence. As American political analyst Randy Martin points out, the so-called Wolfowitz Doctrine is the touchstone of Washington’s foreign policy. The neocon doctrine of former Department of Defense official Paul Wolfowitz, who served in the George W Bush administrations, is embedded in US military strategic thinking.

Says Martin: “Wolfowitz’s worldview of seeing the US as the world’s only superpower and not tolerating any other rival to the point of going to war, is taught in all American military academies. It is mainstream US military thinking.”

This is what motivates Washington’s bellicose policies towards Russia and China, adds Martin. “The US is programed to go to war with any perceived rival global power in order to maintain its unwarranted ambitions of hegemony.”

The analyst says that if it were not for Russian, and Chinese, military power the US state planners would have gone further by now in prosecuting their war actions, with catastrophic consequences for the world. It is a sobering thought that, despite all the Western media disparagement of Russia, it is actually Russia that is saving the world from such a catastrophic conflict – a conflict that the US alone is pushing.

Indeed, it is averred that Russia’s intervention in Syria may have been partly based on this bigger, far more serious calculation. Not only was Russia salvaging the Middle East country from Western-backed war for regime change. Moscow’s deployment of latest weaponry, including its sea-launched cruise missiles and the S-400 anti-ballistic defense, could have been aimed at demonstrating to Washington that it better think twice about pursuing a wider war agenda.

Little do we know it because of so much Western mind-numbing misinformation, but our world is facing the abyss of nuclear war. Russia’s military power is holding the line from this abyss.

How can we transcend this abysmal situation before stumbling over the edge?

Russia must remain vigilant and strong, with a determination to not capitulate. The anniversary last week of the defeat of Nazi Germany is a timely reminder of Russia’s epic importance in thwarting international aggression. The same fascist aggression is virulent again in the form of American hegemonic ambitions, and just as with the Third Reich it is Russian fortitude that is preserving the world from Total War.

Political analyst Randy Martin does not see the American public has having a decisive role in practice. In theory, yes, US citizens need to call their warmongering leaders to account and to elect a democratic government – for a change. However, says Martin, the American public are so disenfranchised, brainwashed, beaten down, and oppressed with poverty and consumerist psychosis, he does not see how a mass movement in the US can be mobilized at this point in history in order to abolish the warmongering ruling elite in Washington.

Perhaps, it is up to the people of Europe to take decisive action. Growing popular discontent with European leaders who toe the American line of aggression and sanctions on Russia may have the potential of decisively breaking the US-EU-NATO war front.

What people need to urgently wake up to is that Washington and its European vassals in government are already at war on Russia. There is absolutely no objective justification for this destructive dynamic, other than the US trying to unilaterally assert its hegemony. That is not the policy of a law-abiding democracy; it is a fascist power in the same vein as Nazi Germany.

The war on Russia is being waged on entirely spurious grounds of alleged Russian annexations, invasions and expansionism. This is utter propaganda – again a la Nazi Germany.
The crucial question is this: can Russia hold the line long enough against US-led aggression until the people of the world mobilize the political action to overthrow the criminal regime that operates out of Washington and through European capitals?

DC Judge Puts the Brakes on Government’s “Overly Zealous” Ban on Concealed Guns

District Judge Richard Leon struck down a part of Washington DC's gun carry law as unconstitutional on Tuesday.

In a 46-page ruling, in which he ordered a preliminary injunction, Leon put a halt on how DC police have only approved permits for people to carry their guns concealed who had a "good reason to fear injury" or those who are employed in jobs that are considered to be high risk.
Leon wrote that law-abiding responsible citizens should be able "to carry arms in public for the purpose of self-defense" and that right "does indeed lie at the core of the Second Amendment."

“The enshrinement of constitutional rights necessarily takes certain policy choices off the table,” Leon wrote, quoting the 5-to-4 Heller Supreme Court decision from 2008 which established a constitutional right to keep firearms inside one’s home.

“Because the right to bear arms includes the right to carry firearms for self-defense both in and outside the home, I find that the District’s ‘good reason’ requirement likely places an unconstitutional burden on this right," he wrote.
Judge Leon then called the violations of the constitutionally protected rights of citizens that was imposed by DC in 2014 "understandable, but overly zealous."
“The District’s understandable, but overzealous, desire to restrict the right to carry in public a firearm for self-defense to the smallest possible number of law-abiding, responsible citizens is exactly the type of policy choice the Justices had in mind,” he wrote.

Frankly, I don't know what is understandable about issuing permission (permits) in order for one to exercise a God-given right to keep and bear arms. It seems clear to me that if rights do come from God, as our founding fathers expressed in the Declaration of Independence, that no government has a right to infringe on those rights, and among those rights is the right to keep and bear arms.
Interestingly enough, a pro-gun, pro-sodomite group known as Pink Pistols joined with Matthew Grace in suing DC.

“This is not a want,” Gwendolyn S. Patton, head of Pink Pistols International, said. “This is a need. This is a right that we have and we are going to exercise it. We wish to exercise it legally and therefore we’re going to challenge this idea that you have a right to tell us what is a sufficient cause for us to carry a gun.”
While I agree with Patton that this is not an issue of want, but of rights, she went on to say that sodomites face "an awful lot of instances where we get targeted by people who don’t like us, don’t like what we do, don’t like what we stand for, don’t like our politics."

Not to get sidetracked, but Patton added, "They don’t think we have the right to go about our lives in a normal fashion and decide to harm us, to attack us, to hurt us, and, in many cases, to kill us. This is unacceptable to us so we advocate the use of the Second Amendment to protect ourselves from such things.”
Personally, we know of many faked crimes against professed sodomites they actually engaged in themselves. The problem with the argumentation is that these people's alleged lifestyle is unlawful. Not only does God condemn it as an abominable crime, but so did our founding fathers. To mix rights with criminal activity is wrong; and while Patton is right about the ability to defend one's self, she is not correct when it comes to engaging the behavior of sodomy, which she promotes.

DC is a "may issue" city, but of course, that sort of thinking is diametrically opposed to the Constitution's protections in the Second Amendment.

“The District of Columbia cannot parcel out constitutional rights to a select few of its choosing,” plaintiffs’ attorney David Thompson said Tuesday. “That’s not how the Constitution works in this country.”

As for Mayor Muriel E. Bowser, her  spokesperson, Christina Harper said, “We believe our gun laws are constitutional and should be upheld.”
How any gun law is constitutional is beyond me.

The Washington Free Beacon reports that the city will request a stay on the ruling in addition to filing an appeal, according to D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine.

“We continue to believe our ‘good reason’ requirement for a concealed-carry permit is both constitutional and in line with similar laws in New Jersey, New York and Maryland – all of which have been upheld by federal appeals courts,” he said in a statement. “Just two months ago, another judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia declined to enjoin the District from enforcing the same requirement at issue in today’s ruling. We believe that the District’s gun laws are reasonable and necessary to ensure public safety in a dense urban area, and we will request a stay of this decision while we appeal.”

Mom Finds Pile of Diarrhea Med Packages, Then Learns Chilling Truth About Son

In upstate New York, a local mother saw a pile of Imodium A-D boxes in her teenage son’s bedroom. She was surprised, because as far as she was aware, her son didn’t suffer from any form of incontinence issue.

The pills were being bought and consumed for something more sinister entirely.
The product is flying out of stores from behind the counter, because when consumed in a large enough quantity, it replicates a heroin-esque high.

 “It’s an opioid agent and it helps to bind receptors in the brain and cause a similar euphoria or high,” said Dr. Scott Krakower, a physician who specializes in addiction disorders at Northwell Health, according to CBS News. As kids are wont to do, they found a cheap high in the drug that seemingly would be harmless, and in fact is — in small doses. However, in the high doses required to hit the high that is sought, it is incredibly dangerous.

 

According to CBS, these kids have been ingesting anywhere from 50-300 pills per day.

 “According to the study, Imodium A-D, in large doses, works in the body the same way as heroin, morphine, and oxycodone,” CBS News reported. “However, Imodium A-D is a cheaper alternative, as big box stores sell 400 tablets for less than $10.”

 

Unfortunately, at least for now, this is completely legal, and given the obscene cost of heroin compared to an over-the-counter medication, this trend is only likely to rise. However, even those just experimenting with a new drug could feel permanent side effects.

Patients have been known to suffer from severe, incapacitating stomach cramps, heart failure … even death.

You may be thinking, “Why is this the first time I’ve heard of this?” And that’s a major part of the problem.

 With no public outcry, the pills continue to be, although over the counter, incredibly easy for teens to access.

Obama-Clinton : War Crime File Opened

War  Crime  File  Opened  Against  Obama-Clinton  For  Backing  Murderous  Saudi  Regime (and accepting bribes)

  

The Investigative Committee (SLEDCOM) has filed a grave report with the Security Council (SC) today stating that it has opened a war crimes file against 'president' Barack Obama and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over allegations of their being “complicit partners/co-conspirators” to Saudi Arabia’s mass killing of Christians and the genocidal bombing of civilians in Yemen for the express purpose of financial gain.

According to this report the specific war crimes (crimes against humanity) against both Obama and Clinton being investigated by SLEDCOM are the disappearance of 28 Christian men, women and children who were rounded  up by Saudi religious police in 2014 (and are believed to have all been buried while still alive) and the mass bombing of Shiite civilians by the Saudis in Yemen that began in March 2015. 

The Saudi Arabian regime is an Islamic theocracy [a system of government in which religious experts rule in the name of god or a god] based on an extremist ideology called Wahhabism that in 2013 the European Parliament identified as the main source of global terrorism—and who this year the Saudis have set a record in the beheading of people, have imposed a death sentence for anyone caught smuggling a Christian Bible into their country, and are now saying homosexuals should be executed due to fears that social media is “turning people gay”.  

This report continues by stating that these Saudi Arabia’s war crimes already committed, and those to happen in the future, could not have occurred without the full knowledge and complicity of the United States, especially its two leaders, 'president' Obama and 'secretary' Clinton who “control/controlled” that nations foreign policy apparatus. 

'secretary' Clinton’s complicity with these war crimes began in 2011 when her Clinton Foundation accepted $10 million from Saudi Arabia prior to her decision of if the US should sell the Saudis advanced Boeing war planes and which after the massive donation was made she approved the sale and received for her foundation another $900,000 from Boeing.

In approving the sale of these war planes to Saudi Arabia (which has used them since in its genocidal bombing of Yemen) both Clinton and Obama violated the United States Leahy Law that forbids the sale of weapons (of any type) to nations that violate human rights with impunity—and which the US State Department itself continues to acknowledge that the Saudis do.

Also to be noted about Clinton in regards to her being bribed by the Saudis were recently released (February 2016) secret emails from her illegal private computer server showing that after her foundation received the $10 million, she labeled the sale of these Boeing war planes to Saudi Arabia as her “top priority” — which after the deal was done was celebrated by her and her top aides, too.  

Particularly to be noted about Obama’s protection of the Saudi regime is his siding with them against his own citizens who suffered through the 9/11 attacks and its aftermath that left nearly 6,000 dead (total as of 2014), with his opposition to the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) that would allow these Americans to (finally) be compensated by Saudi Arabia whose government was complicit in this crime against humanity. 

The Saudi regimes involvement in the 9/11 attacks has long been known with only the American people not allowed to know the truth of their involvement due to the cover-up of this crime by The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (also known as the 9-11 Commission) who classified 28 pages of their report proving this complicity.

However, this report continues, the over decade long “circle of silence” surrounding these 28 pages of the 9-11 Commission report was broken by Commission member John F. Lehman when he admitted that they showed clear evidence that Saudi government employees were part of a support network for the 9/11 hijackers.

 

With the US Senate having unanimously passed this new JASTA law this past week Obama’s threat to veto it (while the deadline on releasing these 28 pages near) looks unlikely to succeed—and if he is unable to derail this law, the Saudis threat to sell up to $750 billion in US treasury securities to collapse the US economy may, in fact, be carried out.

As the Saudi Arabian international credit rating has already been downgraded and it is contemplating paying it contractors with IOU’s  their only economic hope is for  Obama to side with them against his own citizens.

If he will is not known at this time—but should Clinton be a part of this decision, its outcome is assured as with both her and her husband, former 'president' Bill Clinton, having already pocketed $153 million in “payoff speeches” , there is nothing, apparently, they won’t do for money, including selling out the American people like  Obama has done, too.

*   Trump's first  wife, Ivana, was an immigrant from Czechoslovakia and a divorcee who has  been married 4 times in her life. She is a lifelong avid skier and worked in  design at the Trump  Organization.

(Kallstadt, Germany) which  throughout history has been alternately French and German. The Trumps are  German, originally speaking the same German dialect as the Amish of  Lancaster County, PA.

*   His maternal  grandparents lived in Scotland.

*   Freiderich  (Drumph) Trump made a small but respectable fortune in the late 19th Century  in the mining boom towns of the American Northwest.

*   Freidrich was  establishing a Real Estate business in Queens when he died suddenly at age  49 (1918).

*   Trump has an  extraordinarily energetic central nervous system much like Teddy Roosevelt  but more targeted to industry and enterprise.

*   Trump's  presidency will be very energetic, transparent, and

*   Trump will be a  very hard working President.

*   His interaction  with his older brother (who everybody loved) tells

me that he thinks that  everybody is like him - or wants to be - or should be.

*   His  relationship with his older brother was a hard lesson in

tolerance for  him.

*   Trump is the  Babe Ruth of career achievements.

*   He is dumb like  a fox. When you think he just said something

stupid - he didn't. It's just  that you were not his target audience.

*   Trump knows the  people - the folk.

*   His son, Donald  Jr. is right. Trump is a "Blue Collar Billionaire".

*   More than  anything, his TV show, The  Apprentice, was his passion. He wants all Americans to have  confidence (like he does) to venture.

*   Donald Trump is  attracted to and marries smart, high achieving

women.

*   The highest  levels of a Trump Administration is certain to have

many women - and they  will be bright and assertive.

*   Donald Trump's  children are very important to him. And it shows.

Yesterday at a restaurant we watched a ship loaded with goods leave the Port of Tacoma --- they refused US Dollars and went home.

Last night we listened to Jim Willie - an Economist - on "Ochelli Effects" and he clearly stated ships are sitting off of California loaded with goods and they refuse payment in US Dollars.

About 48 hours ago Putin ordered the gas to be shut off of Europe because he refused to accept the Petro Dollar as payment, and the Euro is backed entirely by the US Dollar.

As you recall last week China refused to allow a US Carrier Group to dock in Hong Kong because all they had to pay with for the Docking Fee and Fuel was US Dollars.

There appears to be about 25 countries - currently occupied by forces of the United States Corporation - that are still accepting the US Dollar.

The US Dollar is issued by the Federal Reserve System, and Jim Willie and other economists think that both the IMF and Federal Reserve System are now controlled by the Chinese now so they are apparently calling the shots now.

Central Bank of Iraq finalizes agreement with Zaha Hadid Architects to design new office headquarters in central Baghdad.  The Central Bank of Iraq on February 2 signed an agreement to begin the process of building new headquarters on the shores of the Tigris River in Baghdad. “The new building shall be a symbol of the [central] bank’s role in the economic development of Iraq and a reflection of the determination to rebuild the country.” The £630 million building will be built on a 20 hectare site in West Baghdad, which was originally used by Saddam Hussein to partially construct a super mosque.
