We all want to assume that we’re safe inside our homes.

But the truth is that criminals can and do go everywhere, and there’s no telling if your home is next on their list.

Recently, a highly disturbing new trend in home invasion has reared its ugly head…and it could start spreading fast.

The post reads: “Two weeks ago, during the day, a hard knock was at my front door, not a regular knock but almost pounding…and

I DO NOT answer the door when I am here by myself.” When the person finally left, she went to investigate and noticed something strange on the handle: a rubber band holding the door latch open.

When she told her local sheriff, he told her that this wasn’t the first time someone had reported something like this. “The Sheriff came by yesterday and said this is happening all of a sudden, as soon as you unlatch the door, they do not wait for you to turn the knob, they can bust in on you.”
 

Kim recommended to “NOT answer doors without knowing who is on the other side.”

One thing that you could do to prevent burglary is to remove any litter outside your home. Properties full of trash can give the impression that you’re not home often, or that you’ve been away for a while. There are some burglars who use litter to signal how many people live in the house, when they’re away, and other markers. 

Don’t make your home a target!

Here’s a tip that will actually save you some time and effort: don’t make your bed in the morning. Many burglars, when looking for places to rob from, check the beds. An unmade bed could give the impression that someone is still home. 

Obviously, a home security system is ideal to prevent crime, but if you can’t afford it, just getting a sign or sticker indicating that your home is protected could still deter criminals.

Experienced burglars may call you on your bluff, but this should be enough to scare most criminals away.

 

You should also consider investing in some motion-sensitive lights. Remember, criminals can still get nervous! If a light suddenly shines on them, they might get the impression that they’ve been caught and flee the scene.

It may seem obvious to hide your valuables in your sock drawer or a lock box, but that’s exactly why you should consider moving them some place sneakier. Who would think to look for your

jewelry in your child’s bedroom?

People don’t just kick down doors in action movies.

Burglars do it all the time.

Be sure to reinforce your door, either with more wood or by investing in a steel door.

You should know that there is some dispute as to whether or not criminals are actually putting rubber bands around doors for this reason, but regardless, these tips are guaranteed to help keep you and your family safe!

Robert David Steele is no stranger to telling things how they simply are. And just this past week, he has once again made several paradigm-shifting statements that is bound to get the attention of many throughout the world. 

In addition to calling for the end of the IRS, the Federal Reserve, the Department of Homeland Security and major reform and criminal investigations into the FDA and Center for Disease Control, he has called for Senator Rand Paul and Speaker Paul Ryan to introduce the Electoral Reform Act of 2016.

This act, if done in September of 2016, would demand that paper ballots would be used in all federal elections. Obviously then, this would be a curveball to the plans of the global elite who are backing Hillary Clinton and who many believe rigged the primaries and would like to rig the Presidential vote in November. Essentially, this would be a positive step forward for the world in that much truth would continue to leak out into public awareness.

Robert Steele, who is a former US Marine and CIA spy, trained officers in over 66 countries in open-source methods. Open source technology and information is a way to ensure transparency and truth on all levels and on any issue throughout our world. 

In his recent article Libertarians Now or Never, Robert Steele talked about these issues listed above, including the abolishing of the IRS, Federal Reserve and the enacting of the Electoral Reform Act of 2016:

Put most simply, a Libertarian believes that individuals, families, and communities should decide most if not all of the issues that arise from day to day and over time, not the federal government.

Libertarians have not reached the point I have, after a study of the Constitution and our history, which is this: we are the United STATES of America, therefore the federal government should be an administrative service to the STATES united, not an imperial power. 

If I were elected president, I would appoint a Governor-General and begin the process of terminating the illegal mandate that allows the federal government to tax individuals and organizations and to borrow money.

States should collect such revenue as they see fit from their citizens — I recommend a single Automated Payment Transaction (APT) Tax administered and collected by the states — and states should fund the federal government by agreed upon appropriations from each state.

In passing, I would cancel all Executive Orders and refer them to the Speaker of the House for legislative consideration. All federal regulations — including the newest forbidding the public from swimming with dolphins (I don’t make this crap up) — would be suspended.

The Center for Disease Control and the Federal Drug Administration would be suspended and investigated toward probable criminal indictments against all their “leaders” while the Department of Homeland Security, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Federal Reserve would be closed, plain and simple, with “soft landing” transition plans for all their employees. 

The Departments of Education and Energy, among others, would be subject to a zero-based review and at least cut in half if not eliminated entirely, subject always to Article 1 of the Constitution — it’s time we totally recast the government, to include harmonization of Congressional committee jurisdictions with the organization of the executive branch and vice versa.

Note 1: 10th Amendment plays here. The STATES are not exercising their power under the Constitution. 

Nullification and if necessary secession are vital parts of the Constitutional relationship between the STATES and the federal service that has become an imperial power owned by banks.

Note 2: As I said in my appearance in the Hollywood documentary, American Drug War: Last White Hope, marijuana is the seam between a public that thinks for itself and a government that lies for the banks and corporations that thrive on fencing the commons and making private behavior illegal so they can profit — make no mistake, the  drug industry is about liquidity for the banks that launder the money, the criminal gangs are merely de facto agents of the banks. Cannabis in all its forms, including oil, cuts tumors in half or more and addresses cancer in a manner the government and the corporations actively cover up. The criminal insanity of a government that cares more about profits for the few at the expense of the many must be ended. The immediate legalization of marijuana (and hemp, which has many substantial industrial uses) is non-negotiable.

Robert sees this being the perfect time for such a conversation because it would then be no longer possible for the masses to ignore the rigged 2-party system that disenfranchises 70% of all eligible voters. It would force several truths to emerge that would be beneficial to all.

Four immediate benefits would be:

1. It frees all incumbents from dependency on campaign contributions going forward.

2. It opens the immediate prospect of ten or more Libertarians (and some Greens and Independents) being elected to the 20-30 seats being vacated in this cycle, i.e. without a defending incumbent — THAT is the key to Libertarian power going forward, NOT a placebo presidential ticket.

3. With Instant Run-Off, it opens the real possibility of a dynamic Libertarian ticket with a transpartisan Cabinet and a balanced budget declared in advance, actually winning (as a second choice to all those that vote for Trump or Clinton, and a first choice for everyone else).

4. It ends the electronic fraud means Hillary Clinton used to steal multiple primaries from Bernie Sanders and would otherwise use against Trump.

Steele also writes that the two-party system must go, and that the Electoral Reform Act of 2016 would effectively prevent Hillary Clinton from winning the election:

The two-party tyranny works for Wall Street and Wall Street works for the Khazarian mafia owned and operated by the Rothchilds. Hillary Clinton is controlled by Lynn Rothschild on behalf of Evelyn Rothschild, and Hillary Clinton is owned by everyone that ever donated millions to the Clinton Foundation, particularly the royal family of Saudi Arabia, despots (and in many cases pedophiles as well) that is destroying Syria and Yemen for the sake of two pipelines — Hillary Clinton has put the full force and budget as well as blood of the USA behind the Saudi dynasty because she has been paid to do so and has no shame at all. Donald Trump is no better — he is a fraud whose advisors are indistinguishable from those aiding Hillary Clinton, and there is credible analysis to the effect that he has sold out and is taking a dive in order to make the impossible possible: the election of Hillary Clinton.

Timing is now incredibly crucial. With congress reconvening on September 6th, the world has a chance for several major issues to be openly exposed and discussed. How can you help with this process? I got to admit – I didn’t even know this memorial existed. However, it took me two seconds to realize why – it received zero publicity. Now why do you suppose that? Why hasn’t the media expressed their gratitude? Name me another country that’s done more? 

 

This is a stunning memorial which pales into insignificance whatever the real terrorist gangsters are trying to do at ground zero. The very thought of Larry Silverstein and Frank Lowy having anything to do with the memorial for 9/11 victims is positively gut-wrenching!

Time cures everything, but there are things we cannot and must not forget. Standing more than 100 feet tall, To the Struggle Against World Terrorism honors victims of 9/11 and the 1993 World Trade Center bombings and serves as a symbol of solidarity in the fight against world terrorism.

Created by Russian sculptor Zurab Tsereteli, the memorial was a gift from the Russian people. Dedicated on September 11, 2006, it stands in direct view of the Statue of Liberty and the former World Trade Center.

About 50 million people visit New York every year and more than 8 million live there, but no one seems to have heard of The Teardrop…. yet it’s a 100ft tall, 175-ton memorial to those who died on the city’s blackest day - 9/11.

 

Whichever way you look at it, this was a damn smart move by the Russians. And what a beautiful memorial – a huge tear-drop coupled with the names of all those who perished.

A science faculty in New Mexico dissected the brains of babies who were aborted. Yes this is actually happening in our own country. 

Here is the report:

The United States House Select Panel on Infant Lives has accused the University of New Mexico of illegally transferring babies’ tissue from Southwestern Women’s Options, a late-term abortion clinic in Albuquerque, to the university after its chancellor admitted in a video interview that students dissected aborted babies’ brains and other body parts at a “summer camp.”

In a recent video, UNM chancellor Paul Roth admitted in a matter-of-fact way that the dissection did happen. “Yes, we had a faculty member who obtained some tissue, and during one of these summer workshops, uh, dissected I think one or two fetal brains,” Roth said in a video posted on YouTube by New Mexico Alliance for Life.

The House Select Panel has written to New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas, pointing out violations of a state law....

“Documentation obtained by the panel in the course of its investigation reflects that the transfer of fetal tissue from SWWO to UNM for research purposes is a direct violation of New Mexico’s Jonathan Spradling Revised Uniform Anatomical Gift Act,” wrote Panel Chair Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., according to Fox News.

The tissue was used for research as well as dissected at summer camps in 2012 and 2014. “Today, UNM hospital performs surgical abortions for any reason through 25 week gestation,” says a report by the panel.

“Since the time when opposition to participating in abortion procedures was the predominant view of UNM medical staff, the culture appears to have changed — along with the composition of UNM hospital and clinic personnel — to one aggressively in favor of the expansion of abortion.”

The panel chair told the state’s attorney general that UNM officials trained new abortion doctors, referred women to outside abortion clinics, sent UNM faculty and residents to an abortion clinic during transition between owners, extended “voluntary faculty” status to local abortionists, supplied residents and fellows to perform abortions for SWWO, and put pressure on employees and students for political support.

Earlier this month, Albuquerque Journal blasted the university in an editorial.  “The university has stonewalled multiple Inspection of Public Records Act requests from the anti-abortion New Mexico Alliance for Life for records regarding fetal tissue obtained from the clinic, saying it did not keep that kind of information. However, the procurement notes indicate that, indeed, such information is kept in great detail,” the editorial read.

“Having a legal abortion is a difficult enough decision for most women, but to have the tissue they agreed to donate, ostensibly to advance science, treated in this way is unacceptable. It’s one thing to have enthusiasm for one’s work, but the flippant tone of the notebook entries is just plain wrong on any level,” it added.

The New Mexico Alliance for Life describes itself as “a nonpartisan organization focused on changing state and local laws by empowering women with better and informed choices when facing unplanned or difficult pregnancies and advocating for better protections for women and unborn children from an unsafe abortion industry.”

This was not done by ISIS.  It was done by “educated” doctors and students under the numerous loopholes that Roe V. Wade provides, since unborn children have no constitutional rights in this country.

When the US government steps outside of the apple pie and baseball narrative of the American dream and issues warnings to prep, you’d better pay strict attention and start upping your preparedness game.  (Whether you believe that the threat to prep for is manufactured to engineer consent or not is, while an interesting debate, entirely beside the point of this article.)

The US government, much like the ones in Venezuela and Greece, likes to paint a rosy picture of life in our country, often to the point that those who are awake are incredulous that others accept the propaganda.  Sort of like when Obama said that anyone who claimed there was something wrong with the US economy was a peddler of fiction.  

Or when Venezuelan President Maduro said last year that they were merely being environmentally friendly when they began rationing electricity.

But what does it mean when that rosy picture gets a huge rip down the center? Particularly when the rip comes straight from the government, whose usual job it is to photoshop the rips so no one sees them?

I can give you a recent example.  Remember how President Maduro said there was no food shortage for the longest time? Then suddenly, he announced that the country was out of food (as though the crisis hadn’t been building all along) and recommended that folks grow veggies and raise chickens on their balconies.  And then, all hell broke loose.  The country is out of positively everything and what is available is dramatically hyperinflated. (A dozen eggs for $150, anyone?)

Obama issued the first of 2 warnings to prep

Most of us are well aware that when disaster strikes, we’re on our own. That has been proven in disaster after disaster, like when it took days to get aid to victims of Hurricane Katrina and Superstorm Sandy.  But usually, the government likes to downplay the need for independence.  When they begin telling people to get ready, you’d better be sure that you are, because that means they know – absolutely know – that they won’t have the resources to aid those in need.

First, President Obama stepped away from the golf course to address FEMA at the end of May. Here, from the White House website, is an excerpt from his speech (the emphasis is mine):

One of the things that we have learned over the course of the last seven and a half years is that government plays a vital role, but it is every citizen’s responsibility to be prepared for a disaster.  And that means taking proactive steps, like having an evacuation plan, having a fully stocked disaster supply kit.  If your local authorities ask you to evacuate, you have to do it. Don’t wait.

And so one of the biggest, most important messages that we’re going to be delivering throughout hurricane season is that you cannot judge the dangerousness of a hurricane based on the fact that in the past it dissipated or it missed you.  If your local authorities say that you need to start evacuating, you need to start evacuating and get it done…

And what we’ve been seeing is some public complacency slipping in; a large portion of people not having preparedness kits, not having evacuation plans… If you need information about how to put together an evacuation plan, how to put together a disaster preparedness kit, as Craig said, we’ve got an app for everything now.

You can get safety tips for more than 20 kinds of hazards.  It provides you directions to nearby shelters.

So I would encourage every American, no matter where you live, to stay vigilant, to check Ready.gov — I will repeat that — that is Ready.gov — check that regularly to make sure your family is prepared for severe weather.

As Michael Snyder pointed out on his website, The Economic Collapse Blog, Obama seems to really be pushing the idea of a FEMA camp.

One more thing that I found particularly noteworthy about Obama’s speech was that he said that there is now “a FEMA app” that can direct you to the nearest “FEMA shelter” in the event of a major emergency…

…Could you envision yourself and your family having to take refuge in a “FEMA shelter” someday?

Once you enter the gates to Camp FEMA, you must understand that you’re completely under their control. When you eat, where you sleep, and how often you shower will all be regulated. Gee. It kind of sounds like prison, doesn’t it?  (For a look at what life in a FEMA camp might be like, check out A. American’s book, Forsaking Home.  Yes, it’s fiction, but not outside the realm of possibility.)

Obama’s statements were all couched in a speech that coincides with hurricane season. On its own, this wouldn’t be a huge deal.

Now the DHS  has followed with a warning about potential evacuations in DC

It’s no surprise that the nation’s capital is a prime target for terrorist attacks. The DC public transit system known as “the Metro” began it’s year-long Safe Track program, performing repairs on the aging infrastructure. While the repairs are much needed, the commuter congestion wrought by the changes in service have brought to light the very real issues that would occur in the event of a rapid evacuation of the city.

DC’s Homeland Security and Emergency Management Command Center is very concerned. After Safe Track began last week, they started monitoring commuter transit and determined that “If a natural disaster or terrorist attack occurred in the city, evacuation routes would face a crush of vehicles.”  

Well, we all know that’s obviously the way it happens during an evacuation. Remember the Hurricane Rita traffic jam back in 2005? Out of 113 deaths attributed to the hurricane, 107 were associated with the evacuation, where people perished of heat strokes, a bus fire, and the exacerbation of chronic health issues.

So although evacuation is always a nightmare, the limited Metro service could elevate that to crisis proportions. DC Homeland Security Director Christopher Geldart has issued a warning to residents (again, the emphasis is mine):

Everyone needs to dust off their evacuation plans, understanding Metro isn’t a reliable option over the next year.

“When we put more vehicles on the road– like an emergency happening in the middle of the day and everybody leaving at the same time– that’s going to cause backup and it’s going to take people a good time to get home,” Geldart said. “It will take longer– much longer– than they are used to. So what we’re telling folks is, you need to have a plan with your family.”

The reasons behind these warnings to prep are nothing new, but….

Does the government know something that we don’t? Is there something big coming down the pipe? Something so big that the government isn’t going to be able to manage the crisis to their own advantage? Are they washing their hands of the responsibility they willingly took on when they created organizations like FEMA to “take care” of citizens?

While the reasons behind these warnings are the backbone of every good prepper’s philosophy, the fact that the government is issuing them is rather worrisome.  It belies the “nothing to see here” philosophy that is the usual trademark and puts the ball firmly in the court of the US citizens.

Any prepper worth his or her roll of tinfoil has to immediately think that something is up when these types of warnings come out of the mouths of those who normally act like we’re enemies of the state. But here’s where a significant issue lies.

Maybe they know something is coming. Maybe they’ve organized what’s coming as a way to take greater control. But in the midst of the crisis, it doesn’t actually matter how the crisis got started. You just have to survive it. 

While the thought that our own government could have been responsible for some of the most heinous acts ever committed on American soil is disturbing at the very least, if you find yourself caught up in a terrorist attack,  my opinions on the culprit don’t matter and neither do yours. All that matters in those minutes,  hours, or the days of the aftermath, is surviving.

It doesn’t honestly matter HOW it happens. Whether it is an enemy attack, as in the novel One Second After, a government false flag in order to institute martial law, or a natural act, when a disaster strikes, what matters is your readiness to deal with it.

So what should we take from these warnings?

It’s imperative that you respond when the nanny government issues warnings to prep, but not from  a place of fear.

You should respond by getting prepared. Not in the government-recommended “3 days of supplies” kind of way, either.  That’s for lightweights.

Ask yourself the following questions, and don’t just gloss over the answers, because these could potentially be matters of life and death.

1. Do you have enough food and water to care for your family for a month with no trips to the store?
2. Do you have a back-up sanitation plan in the event that you don’t have running water in your home for an extended period of time?
3. Do you have a route if your area were to face a mandatory evacuation? Do you have a back-up route? Do you have a route that you could take if all of the main thoroughfares were gridlocked?
4. Do you have a plan for grabbing what you need if you had to leave your home in 15 minutes from this very second?
5. Do you have an emergency water filtration system? A secondary source of water?
6. Are you prepared for a power outage lasting up to a month? Could you cook? Stay warm or cool?
7. Do you have a plan for meeting up with family if a disaster strikes when you are separated? What if communication is down? What if you are away from home and need to get home?
8. Are you fit enough to leave home on foot, carrying what you need to survive?
9. Do you have family members with special needs or health concerns? If so, have you prepped to take care of these needs if you have no power and can’t get to the store or pharmacy?
10. In a situation of civil unrest due to a lack of supplies, could you keep your home and family safe? Could you take care of medical emergencies on your own if no one was answering the phone when you dialed 911?

Well? How did you do? Could you say yes to every question or do you have some work to do?

If you can’t answer yes to every single question above, you’re not prepared

The scenarios above aren’t even the worst that a prepper could dream up. They’re all short-term emergencies of a month or less, and every single one of them is realistic. I can cite a recent event for each and every one of them during which people most likely wished they’d paid more attention and planned ahead.

If you can’t say yes to those questions, don’t despair. Don’t feel hopeless.

Here’s what you can do.

You can get started right now. You can get prepped.  Even if your budget is tight, if your family is not on board, or if you are assailed with doubts. You can get ready for not only possible, but likely occurrences.

Don’t start out prepping for a 30-year nuclear winter or other outrageous Doomsday Prepper-style scenario. Start out with the things that are the most realistic. Look at the bad things going on in the world today and prepare for those. Start out with a week of preps and an evacuation plan and build up from there.

• The annual hurricanes, blizzards, and tornadoes that hit the US
• The likelihood of civil unrest in our volatile society
• The possibility of a tainted municipal water supply
• A personal economic crisis, like an unexpected expense or a job loss
• A national economic collapse, like the one in Venezuela
• A horrifying crime wave like the one in Europe due to clashes between Europeans and migrants

None of these events is unlikely. In fact, they’re all happening right now. Some in our own neighborhood. Some in other countries. But they’re all happening.

Start out with a week of preps and an evacuation plan and build up from there. Get a good comprehensive book, stock up on some long-term emergency food, create a water plan, and build a pantry.

Or, if you are really, really motivated and ready to up your game, make a genuine, accountable commitment to it.  Take a course like the one I’m teaching with Lisa Bedford (aka the Survival Mom).  I can promise you that if you follow all of the guidelines in the Summer Prepping Intensive, you will absolutely be able to say yes to each of the questions above.

Whatever you do, don’t be paralyzed by fear. Don’t just blithely do nothing and figure it will all work out.

You have a responsibility to yourself and the ones you love to heed the warnings, watch the signs, and prepare accordingly.

U.N. to 'Monitor US Elections'

Yes, you read the title correctly. 


The U.N. will have a significant presence in monitoring our elections this November. 

Between the takeover of the election process between DHS and the UN, this election has already been stolen. 

Meanwhile, America sits on its collective fat @$$, and does nothing about this invasion being perpetrated by the globalist mafia.

So, now we have our very own 'Department of Homeland Security' overseeing this ‘critical infrastructure'. 

And the United Nations sticking their fingers in this American Pie!  (the restored Republic's national sovereignty handed over lock, stock and barrel to the New World Order?!  How's that????)

The UN does not have any right to 'monitor' our elections.  

Did they volunteer, or were they invited?  If invited, by whom?  WHO had the authority on behalf of our Republic to invite the UN to come ashore and 'monitor' our nation's elections without the knowledge and approval of the people? 

And yes, this election is critical – but not in the way they present it.

I believe this is our last chance to begin righting the injustices that have been committed on the American People – ALL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

I want to protect what makes me proud to be that person, living in this country, on this National Holiday, celebrating the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity and well-being of our country.
