“Information is getting harder and harder to find these days. Over the years I have noticed PDF’s on firearms, automobiles, and anything related to ‘fixing things yourself’ quietly disappearing from the internet, the culprit usually being a ridiculous copyright claim. Nevertheless, there are still a few good rogue sites out there, but who knows how long they will be around. I have kicked myself a few times for not taking advantage, ultimately missing out on the opportunity to acquire massive amounts of knowledge.

 

I’m sure we can all figure out why the gatekeepers don’t want PDF’s on building firearms, reloading ammunition, and gun modification widely available on the internet. The simple answer is they hate guns. Guns are ok for the elite, but the slaves should only have access to their hands. That’s just one of many reasons they’re slowly disappearing from the internet. And the even bigger problem is that no one is noticing.

 

How To guides on automobiles and simple repair manuals are noticeably getting harder to find as well.  And if you do come across them, it will cost you an arm and a leg for access. Dealerships and companies that make money from repairs would never want the general public to have this kind of knowledge. Imagine all the money you can save if you’re somewhat handy and can find that wiring diagram for your Honda Accord on the internet, saving you an expensive trip to the dealer or neighborhood mechanic.

 

These are just two examples. Listed below are many priceless sites full of valuable information on a range of different topics that I encourage you to take full advantage of. As a disclaimer, I would never encourage anyone to download anything illegally. Doing so would hurt the companies bottom line, and we would never want to harm a companies profitability. If you’re a super geek like me, you can easily download whole websites with the click of a button for offline reading. This easy method will save you hours of time that would be otherwise spent downloading individual files. I wrote a quick blurb about it here. Let me know what you think, are there any sites I missed? 1) B-OK, formerly know as BookZZ, is the worlds most notorious eLibrary claiming to have access to 2,568,555 books and 52,429,666 articles for free. I can literally spend hours on this site and not have regrets, thinking I wasted my time.

 

2) Project Gutenberg holds claim to the oldest digital library on the web. This volunteer effort catalogs 54,000 ebooks and is home to the worlds greatest literature, especially older works for which copyright has expired.

 

3) Sacred Texts is an interesting site that archives countless pages of hard to find information about religion, mythology, legends, folklore, occult and esoteric topics. It’s been a mainstay on the internet since 1999.

 

4) Steve Pages is a great resource for gun enthusiasts like myself. There’s a wealth of information available here. I recommend getting it before it’s gone. The site is a little hard to navigate if you’re not familiar with the layout. To make it easier I included a few relevant links here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here.

 

5) Cardiagn is a useful resource for anyone with the skill set to fix cars. The site offers an endless supply of repair manuals, wiring diagrams, engine repair manuals, transmission repair manuals and much more. Who knows how long this place will be around, I would take full advantage while it’s still available.

 

6) Vintage Gun Leather is unique site that offers an excellent catalog of hard to find gun manuals. The site also doubles as store that sells top quality leather products. It won’t be long until the gun grabbers, and copyright trolls get this site taken down. Enjoy it while it’s still here.

 

7) The Anarchist Library is another rogue site with mountains of information. Don’t let the name intimidate you. There’s a wealth of interesting information here from both sides of a topic.

 

8) Public Intelligence is a Wikileaks type site with an abundance of documents from various Government agencies. A lot of interesting CIA, FBI and DHS reports have made their way to the site, obviously pissing off the global elite in Washington and around the world.

 

9) MuckRock is a non-profit collaborative news site that holds the Government’s feet to the fire through FOIA requests. They have an interesting crowdfunding feature and break a lot of interesting stories and have thousands of interesting documents to download.

 

10) Archive.org is probably one of the most well know and most overlooked sites on the list. At the date of writing, there were 14,469,094 ebooks and texts available for download. This iconic corner of the web catalogs a wide range of documents ranging from historical documents to military manuals.”

President Donald Trump will pledge $1 million in personal funds for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Thursday.

"He'll pledge, proudly, $1 million of his own personal money to help the people of Texas and Louisiana," Sanders told reporters at the daily briefing. "He said he would like to join in the efforts that a lot of the people that we've seen across this country do."

Sanders added Trump called on reporters to suggest which relief efforts he should donate to.

"He's actually asked that I check with the folks in this room, since you are very good at research and have been doing a lot of reporting into the groups and organizations that are best and most effective in helping and providing aid," she said.

"He'd love some suggestions from the folks here — and I'd be happy to take those if any of you have them."

Harvey's flood waters have heavily damaged tens of thousands of homes across Texas and killed as many as 37 people.

The storm is now threatening the region near the Texas-Louisiana state line.

Sanders said she was not sure how the donation would be made, whether through the Trump Organization, the Trump Foundation or any other entity.

"He said he was personally going to give," she told reporters. "I don't know the legal part of exactly that, but he said his personal money.  "So, I would assume that comes directly from him."

Trump has come under fire in the past for giving far less of his income to charitable causes than many other wealthy Americans.

President Trump and first lady Melania Trump are still planning to visit flood-ravaged areas Saturday — and Sanders said the schedule was being finalized Thursday.
Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, visited Texas on Thursday.

"Tentatively, he plans to be in the Houston area of Texas and possibly Lake Charles, Louisiana, but again, depending on conditions, that may change a little bit," Sanders said.

In an update on Harvey relief efforts, Homeland Security Adviser Tom Bossert said more than 100,000 homes have been damaged by the storm and more deaths were expected once clean-up efforts begin.

"We're going to have 100,000 affected homes, all with different degrees of insurance," he told reporters. "We'll have to address those on a case-by-case basis as we move forward, but I want to put a scope of magnitude on this."

Bossert said the administration would be putting together an immediate supplemental aid request to Congress and then would make a second request later once officials have a clearer idea of the full scope of the damage.

"A little word of caution," he then began. "A lot of lost lives end up in this time zone right after a response.
"We lose, unfortunately, some lives in an immediate disaster, but then in the immediate response and recovery phase . . . people will be stressed.

"The elderly, when they're stressed, tend to get sick," he added. "That sickness can lead to death, unfortunately.
"So, unfortunately, we will see additional losses of life if history is any prologue," Bossert said. "We will see an additional loss of life.

"Please try to avoid that. Try to avoid strain and stress. Try to get to where there's food, water, and shelter — and take care of yourself so that you can then take care of others."

He encouraged Harvey victims to file claims for federal flood insurance and other aid as quickly as possible and said FEMA's National Flood Insurance Program would be funded to pay out all claims.

"If you have a flood insurance policy and you've been paying your premiums, call and get your claim in," he said. "There is no problem. There is no shortfall.

"We have enough money to meet those claims — and you're going to get what you've got coming to you under your policy."

Responding to questions about businesses and retailers gouging Harvey victims, Bossert warned: "Gouging will not be tolerated.

"Jeff Sessions and the president of the United States will not tolerate gouging," he added, referring to the attorney general.

"Anybody that's going to go out and try to take advantage of a disaster victim ought to expect law enforcement to come down on them with a hammer.

"It's not acceptable on a regular day — and it's certainly not acceptable when people are suffering."

Bossert also said illegal immigrants who are Harvey victims "who are in need of immediate life-saving" will not be arrested and deported by federal agents.

"No individual human being should worry about their immigration status, unless they've committed a crime on top of coming here illegally, when it comes to getting food, water, and shelter," he told reporters.

"The authorities won't be conducting any routine swipes or searches inside those shelters. Those are shelters for food, water, and providing kind of insulation against exposure.

"We won't go rounding people up there."

Former 'president' Barack Obama's budget request for 2018 came in at $1,153,000, poised to make him the most expensive 'president' to taxpayers, The Washington Times reported.

Obama's official allowance eclipses George W. Bush by $100,000 and Bill Clinton by $200,000, the Times reported, citing a Congressional Research Service memo.

Former president George H.W. Bush will get $942,000  next year, followed by Jimmy Carter at $456,000.

The allowances for an office and expenses — and pension for Obama — originated from a 1958 law, the Former Presidents Act, which provides for presidents when they leave office. It stemmed from Harry Truman's difficulty generating income, the Times reported.

Of course now, Obama and former FOTUS Michelle Obama, left the White House as multi-millionaires, plus he hits the private speaking tour, making $400,000 per speech, minimizing the need for such an allowance, but one he takes anyway.

Michelle Obama commands $200,000 on the speaker's circuit, just as much as Bush 43.

Obama's biggest expense — his D.C. office, costing taxpayers $536,000 next year, nearly $20K more than Clinton's and $40,000 more than Bush 43's in Dallas.

Obama's pension, $236,000, is also the highest?? Clinton's is $231,000 and Bush 43's is $225,000.

Neither Bush 41 nor Carter receive a pension.

(Natural News) Earlier this week, we posted one of the most intriguing articles the internet has seen all week. Entitled “Weather wars” theorists claim Hurricane Harvey was engineered, “steered” toward Houston as a “weather terrorism” weapon, the article has already garnered over 400,000 views (and rising).

The article covered the rising interest in a concept called “weather wars,” which asserts that Hurricane Harvey and other storms are in essence “weaponized” through artificial augmentation, direction control and other factors. The article documented two key U.S. patents which describe advanced weather control technologies. It also shared several videos, including one from WeatherWar101, a website that’s gaining popularity among weather war analysts who say that Harvey was weaponized and directed as a kind of weapon of mass destruction.

WeatherWar101 took issue with some of the statements in our story — pointing out, for example, that they are not “Sofia Smallstorm” — and the founder of WeatherWar101 has contacted Natural News in an effort to get some statements corrected. We are now in the process of inviting WeatherWar101 for a full interview to cover everything they want to cover. This interview can be a written interview, an audio interview or a video interview (their choice), and if they agree to this interview, we hope to ask them lots of questions that readers have also been asking us.
 
As I said in the previous story, I’m no expert in weather modification, so my entire approach to this is with an open (but skeptical) mind. If I made any factual errors in the previous story, those errors were entirely accidental. 

I’d love to get the record corrected and let WeatherWar101 explain their theories about what’s happening. At the same time, as an active laboratory scientist, I will of course ask lots of skeptical questions.

There does seem to be compelling visual evidence that something very strange is happening with these storms. Something is obviously adding a tremendous volume of vapor / clouds to the Harvey storm as it’s strengthening.

Without this augmentation, Hurricane Harvey would have fallen apart on its own. It was the augmentation, we’re told, that added strength to the hurricane and turned it into a weapon.

“These in-place circular sudden bursts of water vapor are ‘rapid evaporation.”  More than that, it irrefutably illustrates that not only is it man made, the inflicted misery is far beyond intentional. Even after the first night of Harvey’s landfall, the complete destruction of Rockport, and two feet of flooding is Houston, the perpetrators were far from satisfied with the devastation they caused. If the perpetrators had any semblance of mercy or human decency, they simply would have allowed Harvey to dissipate as it was already doing (illustrated in the first satellite series in this video), and allowed the victims of this disaster to begin trying to recover their lives. Instead, they deliberately refueled this storm system with massive On-Land Water Vapor Generation (illustrated and proven by the tell-tale Raid Evaporation Bursts which are uncontestably man made), causing the worst night of flooding in Houston for the entire event.

It does appear to show many examples of “rapid evaporation” that seem to be adding significant water vapor to the storm system. According to WeatherWar101, the 50 inches of rain that devastated the region were at least partially augmented in a deliberate effort to worsen and “weaponize” the storm.

Personally, I’m intrigued by all this just like most of you. We already know that, in the 1940s, scientists harnessed the power of the atom to turn high-density elements into weapons of mass destruction. It’s called the “atomic bomb.” We also know that weather control and modification technology does exist at some scale.  That’s been widely documented and even covered in media reports (such as the rain generating technology near Dubai).

We also know that Hurricane Harvey exhibited some highly unusual tracking behavior, such as heading inland at high speed, stalling, reversing course, then hanging out at precisely the worse location to allow a catastrophic downpour to hover over Houston for days on end.

Still, observation of a catastrophe is not proof that it was engineered. The idea that such storms could be augmented, controlled or weaponized is, of course, an extraordinary claim. And extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence as a general rule. Yet, people like WeatherWar101 and Dane Wigington at Geoengineering Watch seem to be offering increasingly compelling pieces of evidence that support their claims.

So we’re inviting WeatherWar101 for an interview to tell his story and share what he knows. We’ll share the interview with you so that you can decide whether you think his theories have merit or not.

Houston: the National Guard has been mobilized from multiple states to help

Flooding continues to ravage Houston in the wake of Hurricane Harvey and it’s expected to continue throughout the week.

An article on Military.com reports that the National Guard has been mobilized from multiple states to help in the effort. Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX), said that the assistance from President Trump and the White House has been amazing. “We’ve made multiple requests and we’re getting absolutely everything we need. The White House is being very responsive.”

To assist in rescue efforts, a number of states in the area have sent in National Guard members to provide air and ground assistance. Fire Department rescue units have also arrived in Texas, along with Coast Guard members, as seemingly everyone is pouring in to provide aid.
Boats are patrolling the streets to rescue and transport people, helicopters are snatching people stranded on rooftops, and the Coast Guard is sweeping through the Gulf of Mexico looking for fisherman and freighters stranded by the storms.

Governor Abbot thanked the states that have lent aid, such as New York, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Florida saying, “This is something where everybody is pitching in to help out.”

Andrew Cuomo, Democrat Governor of New York, has sent in more than 100 National Guardsmen along with various aircraft, watercraft, and trained personnel to assist in the effort. “As Hurricane Harvey continues to devastate the Gulf Coast, I am deploying emergency personnel and equipment to help mitigate damage and aid in the recovery effort,” he stated.

Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York City, released a tweet saying they would send 120 personnel to assist with medical aid and rescue efforts. “After Superstorm Sandy, so many cities stepped up to help our people. We’ll do all we can to help those affected by this storm.”

New York City is sending 120 emergency personnel to Texas to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

President Trump has been working hard to see that Texas receives the necessary aid and relief it needs. 

After a meeting with Vice President Mike Pence and various Cabinet officials, the White House released an official statement detailing Trump’s expectations.

The statement read, “President Trump continued to stress his expectation that all departments and agencies stay fully committed to supporting the Governors of Texas and Louisiana, and his number one priority of saving lives.”

After visiting Texas, Trump released the following tweet about the tragedy he saw there. “After witnessing first hand the horror & devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, my heart goes out even more so to the great people of Texas!”




Even with the incredible support and effort of various men and women, there are still many thousands of people stranded and needed rescue. According to Brock Long, Director of FEMA, Texas will require years of federal aid in order to fully recover. “This is a storm the U.S. has not seen yet. We’re setting up for the next several years,” he told CNN.

Texas Governor said that the assistance from President Trump and the White House has been amazing.

While the hurricane and subsequent storms have been a tragedy, there has been some good to come from it. In a rare form of solidarity and cooperation, men and women have put aside their differences to come to each other’s aid. 

During a time of ideological infighting and hostilities, the humanitarian efforts in Texas serve as a reminder that underneath the squabbling, everyone is American, and united together when needed the most.

A NEW KIND OF SPRITE? Barely 30 years ago, many researchers did not believe that upper atmospheric lightning existed—until 1989 when researchers from the University of Minnesota captured them on video tape. Now there is a menagerie of accepted forms: sprites, elves, gigantic jets, gnomes. These "transient luminous events" (TLEs) appear above thunderclouds, reaching toward space rather than lancing down to the ground like regular lightning.

On Aug.14th, Thomas Ashcraft may have spotted a new kind of sprite. "I was photographing a cluster of sprites over a thunderstorm in western Oklahoma when something curved snaked up behind the main cluster."

What was it? Experts aren't sure.

Lightning researcher Oscar van der Velde at the Technical University of Catalonia says it could be a troll—a type of TLE that sometimes appears underneath sprites, crawling up tendrils dangling beneath the luminous clusters. "I have recorded many trolls," says van der Velde, "but never such weird curving ones. This is a really exceptional display."

Jozsef Bo'r of the Geodetic and Geophysical Research Institute in Hungary thinks it might be a type of gigantic jet. Gigantic jets are like sprites on steroids—powerful and bright. "A working hypothesis is that the red sprites in the photo occurred first and deposited a cloud of positive charge above the thundercloud. A subsequent gigantic jet was itself rich in positive charge and had to bend around the positive cloud on its way up."

Or it could be something unprecedented. "Even after almost 30 years of sprite observations, we are still seeing new things," says Walter Lyons, past president of the American Meteorological Society and a longtime observer of sprites. "Over the years I have seen thousands of sprites, but only a few curved structures like this -- so this is pretty rare."

"I don't know what to call them," says Ashcraft, who regularly monitors the sky around his private observatory in New Mexico for strange phenomena, "but I am going to keep my eyes open for more."

10 Hurricane Harvey Stories That Will Give You Hope for America

While it’s true there are a lot of stories about division and heartlessness, there are many stories coming out of storm-torn Texas that will give you hope for humanity again. Kindness and love for our neighbors isn’t dead, despite a politically divided country. This is proof that we can work together and give selflessly.

This isn’t to underplay the death and destruction, but to highlight our humanity in the face of disaster.

Below, you can find 10 of my favorite heart-warming stories so far. 

1.  Four teenage boys rescued more than 50 people in Houston.  After waking up to discover his beloved truck was under water, a 17-year-old Texas boy enlisted his younger brother and two other teens to get on a fishing boat and rescue more than 50 people – and their pets – and bring them to the safety of a local shelter. 2.  Members of the Cajun Navy resuscitated an elderly woman found floating face-down in the flood water. As they were guiding their boat down a waterway that was formerly a road, three volunteers realized that what they initially thought was debris was an elderly woman. They jumped in and began resuscitating her in the water, saving her life. They were able to reunite her with her family and say she is doing well. This isn’t the first time that the Cajun Navy has thrown themselves whole heartedly into a rescue effort, and Houston is welcoming their contributions. (source)
 
3. When a stranded woman went into labor, a human chain, a fire department, and a dump truck got her to the hospital. Luckily for a woman who went into labor early, the neighborhood worked together to get her to the hospital in time to give birth. As her new baby girl required intensive care immediately after she was born, it was a good thing that she was not born at home. 4.  Some employees who were stranded at a bakery by the flood made bread for hungry survivors. The bakers were stuck at the bakery for two days, but instead of being idle, they worked all night long to make hundreds of loaves of pan dulce bread to help nourish fellow flood victims. (source)

5. Bass Pro provided 80 boats for search and rescue efforts. When Houston officials ran out of boats, they asked for volunteers with boats to come and help out. Bass Pro answered the call with the use of 80 of their boats and $40,000 in emergency supplies. (source)

6. Two furniture stores turned their locations into pet-friendly shelters. Mattress Mac welcomed displaced residents, their children, and their pets into their stores to provide them with a comfortable place to stay. (source)

7. A storm chaser rescued a lost dog. A storm chaser stopping for gas on his way home was surprised when a bedraggled dog hopped into his Jeep. After he posted a photo on social media, he was able to connect with the dog’s owner and return him. (source)

8. A reporter and camera crew in a boat rescued a stranded family shouting for help. As the crew went past a home, they heard people calling for a help. The family’s home was being flooded with waist-high water. Their elderly mother suffered from Alzheimer’s. They were helped onto the boat and taken to shelter. (source)

10. Anheiser Busch stopped producing beer to can water. The Georgia brewery stopped production to provide 155,000 cans of safe drinking water for flood victims.  https://twitter.com/AnheuserBusch/status/902564457334718464/photo/1

 
These stories go to show you that we can all look past race, politics, and religious disagreements to help our neighbors, keep our spirits up, and perform acts of kindness. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could continue acting like neighbors after the disaster has passed?

This is high lighting the problem with our society in todays world, there is a large percentage of people who do not think for themselves. Not that they can't but they just don't because they believe someone will come a rescue/think for them. Bless the people who were prepared and can help others when and where they can. Maybe this will wake some people up. Prayers to all in the wake of this hurricane, rain, flooding.
