The Grow Network: Rose's and Peach Pits our two top articles

The Grow Network

When Valentine’s Day swings around every year, we all know what that means -- roses, roses, everywhere! Whatever your feelings about the holiday, all those rose petals and rose hips are bound to get your home medicine-oriented mind thinking about other uses for the queen of flowers.
And with good reason.
For example, did you know:
•  Rose petals are antiviral, antibacterial, and antiseptic.
•  Rose petal tea helps relieve cramps during menstruation.
•  Roses are great for soothing pain and easing taut nerves when made into a simple massage oil.
If you’re interested in learning more about the wondrous powers of the rose -- beyond just as an aphrodisiac on Valentine’s Day! -- check out the tips and recipes in our most popular article of 2018:
I also wanted to let you know that we’re shutting down for the rest of this week so our team members can spend time with family and friends. (We've scheduled a few e-mails to let you know about a really exciting development here at TGN, though, so keep an eye out for those after Christmas!)
I hope you have a wonderful holiday -- and I’ll look forward to reconnecting with you in the new year!
Warmly,

When peach season rolls around here in Colorado, you can stop at the roadside stand and buy the kind of peaches that make you have to wash your shirt because of all the juice that runs down your chin when you take a bite!
If you’re lucky enough to live in a place where peaches grow down the street (or in your own backyard), your adventures with these delicious fruits don’t have to end with the last nibble.
You can help ensure many more years of extra laundry by taking the final remnants of that peach -- the pit -- and germinating it. :-)
Many “experts” say it’s worthless to start trees from seed, but David the Good proved them all wrong on the blog earlier this year.
Understandably, his article on “How to Germinate Peach Pits (And Why You Should)” was our second most popular of the year.
Well, one more day to go in our Best of 2018 series. Can you guess which article took the #1 spot?
I can't wait for tomorrow's big reveal! ;-)
Warmly,
