Obama Plan To Destroy Gulf Of Mexico Like Ukraine Horrifies Russia

A new report prepared by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNR) circulating in the Kremlin today states that Russian environmental scientists have become “horrified” over the past fortnight after President Obama opened up for fracking (with virtually no public notice) and then abruptly auctioned off 21.6 million acres of the most sensitive areas of the Gulf of Mexico to the major US energy companies that had, in effect, paid to put him in office.
According to this report, on 20 August, Obama ordered his Bureau of Ocean Management (BOEM) to conduct an auction of these 21.6 million acres in the Gulf of Mexico at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, and which afterwards BP America, who was responsible for the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Gulf of Mexico catastrophe, was said to be the “big winner”.
Of the greatest danger to Obama’s allowing fracking in this environmentally sensitive region, this report continues, is that it sits in what is called the Lower Tertiary basin (which has been coined as the “final frontier of oil exploration in the Gulf of Mexico” worth over $1.5 trillion) and is an ancient layer of the earth's crust made of dense rock and which is “potentially catastrophic” for current offshore fracking operations.
Like the land-based version, a recent US report points out, offshore fracking involves injecting a mixture of water and chemicals into the seafloor, is understood to be risky, and the risks poorly understood. In a recent Bloomberg investigation, an engineer at Halliburton, the world’s leader in fracking, described deepwater drilling as “the most challenging, harshest environment that we’ll be working in.”
Even when things go right, Emily Jeffers, a staff attorney at the Center for Biological Diversity, explained to the Salon News Service, there don’t seem to have been any studies of the process’ potential environmental impacts (a representative for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) confirmed as much to Bloomberg).
And while drinking water contamination isn’t the main concern here the way it is on land, the potential for air pollution, earthquakes and the general disruption to marine life from increased traffic and lighting are all cited as risks. Most importantly, there’s the question of what happens to fracking’s byproduct.
Under the current, EPA-mandated system, wastewater is treated and then dumped back into the Gulf, “where dilution renders it harmless”— but critics say more needs to be studied about its potential impact. It would help, too, if companies were required to disclose their “proprietary blends” of fracking chemicals. Said Miyoko Sakashita, oceans director at the Center for Biological Diversity, “nobody knows what they’ve been discharging and in what amounts.”
But the main concern, emphasized Jeffers, is the potential for a catastrophic blowout, which could cause a disaster of the type we’ve seen with conventional oil drilling — only with the added bonus of those toxic chemicals polluting the water as well.
Important to note, MNR experts in this report say, is that the fracking environmental catastrophe now being allowed to occur in the Gulf of Mexico by Obama is, likewise, being prevented in eastern Ukraine by Russian separatists forces battling neo-Nazi armies from Kiev that have been flooding into the region and have been basically protecting the fracking equipment of Burisma Holdings.
Burisma Holdings, this report says it’s important to note, is currently directing the war in Ukraine through two of its board members, R. Hunter Biden, who is the son of the current US Vice President Joseph Biden, and Devon Archer, a former campaign manager of the current US Secretary of State. John Kerry.
Archer, in fact, in gloating last year of his and Biden’s company’s potential eastern Ukrainian gas reserves stated that “today Burisma Holdings reminds me of Exxon in its early days.”
Standing in the way of Biden and Archer and their plans to destroy the environment of eastern Ukraine (and by extension Crimea and the Black Sea), however, this report says, are the peoples in the region who in February or March, a visitor wouldn’t have heard fear of war but fear of fracking, with residents fearful their land would be destroyed, and not that Obama would unleash Kiev’s neo-Nazi thugs against them.
For even daring to sympathize with the peoples of eastern Ukraine fearing their lands and waterways would be destroyed by Burisma Holdings, this report continues, the Secretary-General of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, this past June, accused Russia of secretly working with environmental groups campaigning against fracking in an attempt to maintain Europe's dependence on energy imports from Moscow, a spurious charge angrily responded to by a Greenpeace spokesman who said:
To the real cause of this Ukrainian conflict it is, perhaps most simply, best described by the US based Truthout News Service that elucidates their readers by stating:
Unfortunately for Obama and his oil company backers like Biden and Archer who have left Iraq, Egypt, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya in tatters, they have met their match in President Putin who reminded them all this week that Russia's armed forces are backed by its nuclear arsenal and was ready to meet any aggression by declaring at a pro-Kremlin youth camp that foreign states should understand: “It's best not to mess with us.”

As consumers continue to be rattled by a seemingly bottomless pit of bad financial news, they're looking for ways to ensure their entire bank deposits are covered by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
It's not difficult to exceed the $250,000 limit on individual accounts, or the $250,000 limit on certain retirement accounts. (In October 2008, the FDIC insurance limit was raised to $250,000 from $100,000, effective until Dec. 31, 2009.
This change has since been extended to Dec. 31, 2013. The limit may revert to $100,000 after that time.) In fact, the FDIC says that less than 62 percent of the $6.88 trillion on deposit in FDIC-insured banks was covered at the end of 2007. That leaves more than $2.5 trillion unprotected in the event of bank failures.
Fortunately, there are many ways you can have excess deposits covered, and you should take the trouble to use one of these methods or, through your own research, find other ways.
Uninsured depositors receive an average of $0.72 on the dollar when their bank fails. Imagine having excess money in a bank and losing more than a quarter of it. In addition, it can take years for the FDIC to settle a bank failure.
The six examples of excess deposit coverage that we'll highlight here primarily involve accounts at community or state-chartered banks. Some larger institutions carry their own excess deposit insurance, so if you prefer banking at larger institutions, ask if they have it.
Companies such as BancInsure and Progressive Casualty Insurance provide excess deposit insurance to financial institutions. Excess share insurance is available to credit unions. But don't assume you're covered; always ask.

Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF)
Believe it or not, back in the 1930s Massachusetts state-chartered savings banks and state-chartered cooperative banks were prohibited from belonging to the FDIC. Instead, they were required to belong to the DIF, which functioned back then under a different name.
Over time, the state legislature allowed the state-chartered institutions to also have FDIC insurance. The DIF then became the insurer of excess deposits. Any amounts above FDIC coverage are guaranteed. There are no forms to fill out, and no separate titling of accounts is necessary. The DIF program covers 68 state-chartered savings banks.
The Share Insurance Fund (SIF) provides the same coverage for state-chartered cooperative banks.
If you don't live in Massachusetts, you're not left out: Many of these banks allow out-of-state accounts.
"The insurance is unlimited, but we don't have $10 million customers," says David Elliott, CEO at Depositors Insurance Fund in Woburn, Mass. "When we look at our profile, it's an amount slightly above the FDIC limit. The customer, whose account started with $90,000 and through interest is up to $125,000, may not even be aware of the fact that the FDIC is insuring the first $250,000 and we're insuring the $25,000 above that."
Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS)
If you like the safety and convenience of CDs and you're nearing the FDIC limit, you may want to consider the CDARS program if your bank offers it.
Funds above $250,000 are deposited in CDs at other banks in the network. The system is supposed to ensure the money is divided among non-related banks, but you should check to be certain. If you're wealthy enough, you can insure up to $50 million.
The demand for the CDARS program has grown considerably this summer, according to Mark Jacobsen, president of Promontory Interfinancial Network, the company that created CDARS.
"Since mid-July, we've been doing about twice the business each week as we did in a typical week in January; and about three times the transaction volume we were doing a year ago. Our business in California has skyrocketed. It took us about five-and-a half-years to garner approximately 150 bank charters in California as member of our network. In the 11 days after IndyMac failed, we had requests from 40 different banks."
IDC Deposits
Just as the CDARS program divvies your excess funds among CDs at different banks, IDC Deposits does the same with money market accounts. Its network consists of over 250 banks, allowing individuals to have FDIC coverage for up to $5 million in what's called a MMAX account.
Another way MMAX is similar to CDARS is that the interest rate you earn may not be as good as you would get shopping around and placing your funds in various institutions yourself. But there's a huge convenience factor to consider. With both programs you receive one statement and one 1099 for tax records.
For example, IDC currently pays banks 2 percent on deposits. The bank you do business with may give you an interest rate of 1.75 percent. That's apparently not stopping people from going with the program.
"We are absolutely seeing an increase in business," says IDC Deposits president Kim Weeks. "I'll be the first to tell you that six months ago, four months ago, it was a tougher sell on the investor side because these are not great rates and we understand this. But because of everything going on right now, there's a trade-off in the convenience and the assurance that the money is insured."
Wintrust Financial
This is an example of a small group of banks that provide excess coverage. Wintrust is a bank holding company that has 15 separately chartered banks in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas. Wintrust makes its MaxSafe account available to customers of the 15 banks. It allows individuals to insure $1.5 million in CD and money market accounts -- more than $16 million if you're able to title accounts differently.
People from outside the Chicago and Milwaukee can apply for an account at one of the banks, but Wintrust is being cautious for varying reasons, says CEO Edward Wehmer.
We did a one-week test in Tennessee and Kansas City and it was surprising the number of calls we had. Eventually, there will be online (applications), but we want to be very careful regarding the 'know your customer' rules on the online side of the business, especially with a money market account. Also, we don't have funding needs. This has been a defensive product for us. I'm afraid that if I offer it, I could get $1 billion in deposits and nowhere to go with it."
Brokerage accounts
If you have an account with an institutions such as Fidelity or Schwab, you can buy CDs at different banks from across the country with the click of a mouse. In addition to the convenience of one-stop shopping, you'll often find yields above the national averages. GESARA = Global Economic Security and Recovery Act
NESARA is the most ground breaking reformation to sweep not only this country but our planet in its entire history. The act does away with the Federal Reserve Bank, the IRS, the shadow government, and much more.
NESARA implements the following changes:
1. Zeros out all credit card, mortgage, and other bank debt due to illegal banking and government activities. This is the Federal Reserve’s worst nightmare, a “jubilee” or a forgiveness of debt.
2. Abolishes the income tax.
3. Abolishes the IRS. Employees of the IRS will be transferred into the US Treasury national sales tax area.

Carter F. Ham (born February 16, 1952) is a former United States Army general, who served as the second Commander, U.S. Africa Command. In that position, he was in command of the initial2011 military intervention in Libya.
Ham previously served as the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Armyfrom August 28, 2008 to March 8, 2011. Prior to that, he served as Director for Operations (J-3) at the Joint Staff from August 2007 to August 2008 and the Commanding General, U.S. 1st Infantry Division from August 2006 to August 2007, and during the Balkan crisis in the mid 1990s was the commander of "Operation Able Sentry" in Macedonia.

Ham was born on February 16, 1952 in Portland, Oregon, and attended Charles F. Brush High School. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the John Carroll University, as well as an M.A. inNational Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
Career[edit]
Ham enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1974 and served two years as an infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division before being accepted in the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (Army ROTC) while attending John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He was commissioned, as an infantry officer, as a Distinguished Military Graduate in 1976. He later received his master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island as well as graduating from several military schools including the Infantry Officer Basic Course, the Armor Officer Advanced Course, the College of Naval Command and Staff of the U.S. Naval War College and the U.S. Air Force Air War College. He is a member of the John Carroll University ROTC Hall of Fame. He and his wife, Christi, are both John Carroll University graduates.
Ham's early assignments included service at Fort Knox, Kentucky and tours of duty in Italy and Germany. After graduating from the Armor Officers Advanced Course, he was a Recruiting Area Commander in Lima, Ohio. In 1984, he served with a joint service unit in support of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
From 1984 until 1989, Ham served as Assistant Inspector General, then as Battalion S-3 and Executive Officer with the Opposing Force at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. He attended the College of Naval Command and Staff, graduating with distinction in 1990, and was then assigned to the U.S. Army Infantry School atFort Benning, Georgia.
He served a tour as an advisor with a Saudi Arabian National Guard Brigade in Riyadh as part of OPM-SANG then returned to Fort Benning, where he was the executive officer for the Infantry School. Ham commanded the 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry in Vilseck, Germany including a six-month tour with the United Nations Protection Forces in the Republic of Macedonia. Following battalion command, he was the Senior Observer/Controller of the Timberwolf Team at the Combat Maneuver Training Center, Hohenfels, Germany.
He graduated from the Air War College in 1997 then returned to Germany where he served as G-3, then Chief of Staff, 1st Infantry Division. From 1999 to 2001 he commanded the 29th Infantry Regiment at Fort Benning, then served as Deputy Director, J-8, United States Central Command in Tampa, Florida and Qatar. Ham was assigned as the Deputy Commanding General for Training and Readiness, I Corps at Fort Lewis, Wash. in August 2003. In January 2004, he assumed command of Multinational Brigade (Task Force Olympia) – North in Mosul, Iraq serving there until February 2005. During his time in Iraq, Ham suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, which was caused by his attending the aftermath of a deadly suicide bombing at a mess hall. He later sought treatment for his condition and publicly encouraged other soldiers to do the same.[2]
Returning from Iraq, Ham served as the Deputy Director for Regional Operations, J-3, on The Joint Staff. Ham assumed command of the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas in August 2006 and served as the Commanding General until July 2007, returning to The Joint Staff as Director for Operations, J-3. On August 28, 2008, Ham became the 34th Commander of the United States Army Europe headquartered at Campbell Barracks,Heidelberg, Germany. In 2010, General Ham served as co-chair for the comprehensive review of issues associated with the repeal of the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy.[3]
The U.S. Senate, in November 2010, confirmed Ham's nomination to become the next Commander of U.S. Africa Command, headquartered at Kelley Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany.[4] He assumed the post on March 8, 2011.
Ham was in command of U.S. forces enforcing the Libyan no-fly zone, along with Admiral Samuel J. Locklear.[citation needed] Described as "in charge of the coalition effort", Ham on March 21, 2011 "said there would be coalition airstrikes on Colonel Qaddafi’s mobile air defenses and that some 80 sorties – only half of them by the United States – had been flown on Monday."[5] Admiral Locklear, aboard the flagship Mount Whitney, has tactical command of the Operation Odyssey Dawn joint taskforce.[6] "General Ham also said he had “full authority” to attack the regime’s forces if they refused to comply with President Obama’s demands that they pull back from Ajdabiya, Misrata and Zawiya," according to one report. Earlier, he said that the United States was not working with the Libyan rebels. “Our mission is not to support any opposition forces,” Ham said by video feed to the Pentagonfrom his headquarters in Stuttgart.[5]
After a normal 24-month tour of duty[7] as Commander, U.S. Africa Command, General Ham was succeeded by General David M. Rodriguez.[8]General Ham retired in June 2013.[3]
Views[edit]
Ham was quoted in an online Washington Post article by Greg Miller and Craig Whitlock, posted on October 1, 2012, that, as saying, that, as a result of al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb's overtaking and capturing more territory in Mali in Africa, and possessing arms from Libya after the Libyan Civil War which overthrew Muammar Gaddafi, there is the possibility of the U.S. assisting, but not leading, counterterrorism operations done by other countries. A more radical step would be the use of drones.[9]
While speaking about the Chinese presence that was "everywhere" in Africa, Ham expressed an appreciation for the economic competition between China and the U.S. in Africa, observing that China was "very good at infrastructure development -- roads, bridges, airports, government buildings and the like -- constructed by the Chinese in -- which greatly benefits the African people."[10]
