Can your automobile be remotely hacked?

Hi, John,
Please share the following on your Nesaranews Blog:

Like everybody else, I learned from the news reports about the recent passing of journalist Michael Hastings in a car crash. There are people who speculate that the car could have been remotely controlled by other parties at the time of crash. I would like to offer my own story to show that it is possible.

A few years ago, I wrote a few posts on several Internet blogs about my discovery of discrepancies in official 9/11 stories. Shortly after, I noticed that everytime I drove around different towns, there were apparent higher probabilities to encounter police cars. This happened even during my vacation out of my home state. I wondered what was going on. As this phenomenon continued for many months, I started to suspect that there was a GPS tracker in my vehicle. I did some research online and bought a "Frequency Counter" which can detect both analog and digital wireless signals up to 2.8 GHz, a range which covers most of the commercal mobile phone frequency bands.

Wow, this was very sensitive piece of equipment: it can detect cell phone signals more than 20 feet away. As I drove around the town with it in my car, a 2008 Honda without any premium pacakge, the RF Frequency Counter buzzed as I passed a Utility truck and a cell tower. How could I be sure that any signal picked up by this device was originated from my car, presumably from a GPS tracker, given the abundant external "noise"? One day I noticed a short-buzz when I shifted the automatic gear of my car from "P" to "D". Then when I shfted the gear from "D" to "P", the "Frequency Counter" detects another very short burst of signals at the same frequency range -- about 2.4 GHz. I drove to a different location, and it gave me the same readings: the wireless signals were sent when I shifted the gears.

At that time, I was aware of the debate about whether attaching a GPS tracker to a car amounts to legally defined "search", which supposedly required a court issued warrant. However, in that particular case under review by the US suprem court, the GPS tracker was attached externally to the bottom of the car. However, in my case, given the fact that gear shifting triggers the signal transmitter, the presumed GPS tracker must have been attached to the transmission control unit (TCU), and ultimately the onboard vehicle computer system. ( I am not a car technician so I only hypothesize here.) Or in other words, the GPS tracker has become a part of the vehicle electric control system.

On January 23, 2012, the US Supreme court ruled that court issued warrants were required in the GPS tracking case. I took out the "Frequency Counter" and found that those signals were no longer present when I shifted gears. But after two more weeks, the signals came back -- the short burst of wireless signals were detected again everytime I shifted the gear from "P" to "D" or from "D" to "P". From this observation, I hypothesized that it was possible to turn the GPS tracker on or off remotely.

Now, thanks to Ed Snowden, we know that our phone calls, emails, and online activities are collected, permanently stored and probably searched. It might not be news for you if your car is also gps-tracked. Even today, I am still not sure how the device got into my car, factory installed or through unauthorized access to my car. If you want to do some research to find out, then check out the following page
http://www.disclosurebypeople.com/?page_id=61

No matter whether you want to purchase a "frequency counter" or other similar devices to detect the RF the signals, make sure that you get one that can detect DIGITAL signals since most of the commercial wireless providers are using digital technologies nowadays. And learn about wireless signals since you will need such knowledge in the future.

As to Michael Hastings' car crash, if his car was indeed remotely hacked, then there has to be digital fingerprints, such as wireless communication signals through cell towers or satellites, left to be discovered.
Thanks,
JitL

James Woolsey Cites new revelations on how foreign intel services inflame hatred

Published: 47 mins ago

By R. James Woolsey, former director of Central Intelligence
Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa is the highest-ranking defector we have ever had from a hostile intelligence service. As chief of communist Romanian foreign intelligence, he was for many years in the key meetings with heads of state and a participant in some of the most sensitive discussions by our enemies during the Cold War.
His remarkable book, “Disinformation,”published by WND Books, will change the way you look at intelligence, foreign affairs, the press and much else besides.

For starters, Gen. Pacepa tells us that intelligence collection is rather far down the list of what Romanian, and other Soviet bloc, intelligence services were doing all those years.

Intelligence collection, he says, “has always been more or less irrelevant.” So what were Romanian and Soviet spies spending their time on in the Cold War years? Gen. Pacepa would say “framing,” i.e., rewriting history and manipulating records, documents, etc., to bring that about. To what end this disinformation?

Oh, little matters like using press leaks to destroy the reputation of a national or religious leader, engendering the spread of anti-Semitism, and building up resentment against the U.S. and Israel in the Arab world.

Soviet leader and longtime KGB head Yuri Andropov, apparently a real aficionado of disinformation, put it this way: “Disinformation is like cocaine – sniff once or twice, it may not change your life. If you use it every day, though, it will make you an addict – a different man.”
So, one might say it’s understandable during the Cold War, but why now? And why are many governments in the Mideast essentially doing the same thing, such as spreading the crazy stories about 9/11 – that it was the CIA, or Mossad? I would imagine it’s fairly straightforward: Dictators need enemies to help them have more reason to suppress their people. And we’re very convenient.

Another major understanding emerges from the book. The communists had something between no ideology and a dysfunctional one. We have one that almost all Americans would sign on to: democracy, the rule of law and America as, in Lincoln’s words, the “last, best hope of earth.” For most of us, we also have our religion, generally Christianity or Judaism. This brought out for the Soviet bloc, and brings out for our current enemies, a carefully targeted attack, or framing, to destroy religion: to spread anti-Semitism, to smear the reputations of a pope and other church leaders as anti-Semites when they actually worked hard to protect Jews during the Nazi era.

Gen. Pacepa writes that there were more in the Soviet bloc working on dezinformatsiya than in the armed forces and defense industry! It was, and to some extent still is, a remarkable effort.
He and his distinguished co-author, law professor Ronald Rychlak, do something remarkable in this book. They not only help us understand history and many of the current disinformation operations that we continue to see – especially from Russia and countries in the Mideast – but also give us a good start in learning how to defeat them.

In short, they open a world that many of us didn’t know existed, and almost all of those of us who did know had seriously underestimated.
Order Gen. Pacepa’s brand new book, “Disinformation: Former Spy Chief Reveals Secret Strategy for Undermining Freedom, Attacking Religion and Promoting Terrorism.” or get both the book and DVD, “Disinformation: The Secret Strategy To Destroy The West” together – and save!

R. James Woolsey has held presidential appointments in four different administrations – two Republican and two Democrat – including as director of the Central Intelligence Agency during the Clinton administration. He currently serves as chairman of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies and is chairman of Woolsey Partners.

Obama Requests 15,000 Russian Troops For “Upcoming” Disaster

June 27, 2013
Obama Requests 15,000 Russian Troops For “Upcoming” Disaster
By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers

An unsettling report prepared by the Emergencies Ministry (EMERCOM) circulating in the Kremlin today on the just completed talks between Russia and the United States in Washington D.C. says that the Obama regime has requested at least 15,000 Russian troops trained in disaster relief and “crowd functions” [i.e. riot control] be pre-positioned to respond to FEMA Region III during an unspecified “upcoming” disaster.
According to this report, this unprecedented request was made directly to Minister Vladimir Puchkov by US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Director Janet Napolitano who said these Russian troops would work “directly and jointly” with her Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), part of whose mission is to secure the continuity of the US government in the event of natural disasters or war.
Important to note, this report says, is that FEMA Region III, the area Russian troops are being requested for, includes Washington D.C. and the surrounding States of Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia, “strongly suggesting” that the Obama regime has lost confidence in its own military being able to secure its survival should it be called upon to do so.
In his public statements, yesterday, regarding these matters Minister Puchkov stated, “We have decided that the US Federal Emergency Management Agency and Russia's Emergencies Ministry will work together to develop systems to protect people and territory from cosmic impacts,” and further noted that his meeting with DHS Director Napolitano also covered other kinds of natural emergencies, such as recent years' extreme weather in both Russia and United States.
In this EMERCOM report, however, Minister Puchkov notes that the Russian troops being requested by the Obama regime would “more than likely” be paired with US-DHS troops who last year purchased nearly 2 billion rounds of ammunition and just this past month placed and emergency order for riot gear.
As to what “upcoming disaster” the US is preparing for, this report continues, appears to be “strongly related” to last weeks assassination of American reporter Michael Hastings who was killed while attempting to reach the safety of the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles, and as we had reported on in our 20 June report Top US Journalist Attempting To Reach Israeli Consulate Assassinated.
Further to be noted about Hastings assassination by the Obama regime is the continued US mainstream propaganda news cover-up of it, though many freelance reporters continue to uncover the truth, such as Jim Stone whose investigation noted that the rear portion of Hastings car was blown open and shredded with the rest of the car nicely intact, which runs counter to the “official”story that this vehicle has hit a tree.
Not mentioned in this EMERCOM report is any suggestion that Russia would comply with this request from the Obama regime, especially in light of the horrifying information being given to Russian intelligence analysts from Edward Snowden who has been labeled as the most wanted man in the world.
According to one Federal Security Services (FSB) bulletin on their continued debriefing of Snowden, and analysis of the information he has provided Russian intelligence officers, his father, Lonnie Snowden, was an officer in the US Coast Guard during the 11 September 2001 attacks on the United States who had “direct knowledge” of the true events that occurred and whom the real perpetrators were.
Being directly affected by the events of 9/11, this FSB bulletin says, Snowden “self initiated” a multi-year effort to gain access to America’s top secrets, a mission which when recently completed led him to contact various international reporters, including Hastings, whom he believed could be trusted with disseminating the information he had obtained.
Though known to us directly from our Kremlin sources as to the exact connections Snowden’s information proves regarding 9/11 and both the Bush and Obama regimes, and the even more horrific event soon to come, a June 2013 Defence Advisory Notice (DA-Notice) prevents our being able to…at this time.
Likewise, and as the assassination of Hastings clearly shows, the Obama regime claims a legal right to kill anyone it so chooses without charges or trial they believe may threaten US national security, and what Snowden’s information reveals definitely falls into that category.
What can be said though, there is a critical reason billionaires all over the world have been dumping their stocks
, and fast; and those who are not able to read between the lines will soon find themselves in the most dangerous situation they’ve ever encountered.

Un-Constitutional IRS Sits Atop U.S. Like 800 lb. Gorilla in Room - Another Senior IRS Official Invokes 5th Before Committee (Again?!) Stop the PORK IRS
I had posted that a senior IRS official had invoked the 5th Amendment when questioned, etc., I.R.S. Official Wants Her 'Rights' - 'We The Peons' at:

Well, it's reportedly happened again. According to reports another senior IRS official invoked the Fifth Amendment against self incrimination. Would that you could do that with the traffic cop, eh?
Deputy IRS Director, Greg Roseman, is reported to have led the IRS's award of the largest contract in history to a company owned by a close friend of his. Does the term 'conflict of interest' come to mind, bigtime!!!!!???
I brought up the matter of legal statuses in my last article at the link on this. Aren't public officials automatically waiving certain rights such as the Fifth Amendment when they become public servants since they are dealing with other peoples' monies and interests to include funds management large enough to be NATIONAL SECURITY?
A person who is a public servant is not exactly just a 'private citizen', you see.
There are probably so many phony scams and giveaways going on within the U.S. government that you couldn't count them all. This contract mentioned might be but one of them. The I.R.S. is not needed in the U.S., is a usurious, usurping, leeching, unlawful monstrosity which should be eliminated along with all pork projects, giveaways, and foreign aid.
IT SHOULD ALL STOP AT ONCE! FIRE THE I.R.S. AND CLOSE IT DOWN FOREVER AND GET YOUR COUNTRY BACK!!!!!

U.N. council brings Iraq closer to end of 1990s sanctions

Thu Jun 27, 2013 12:07pm EDT

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - The U.N. Security Council brought Iraq one step closer on Thursday to ending United Nations sanctions imposed on Baghdad more than two decades ago after former President Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait In 1990.

The 15-member council unanimously agreed that the issue of missing Kuwaiti people, property and archives should be dealt with under Chapter 6 of the U.N. Charter - which urges countries to peacefully resolve any conflicts - instead of Chapter 7.

Chapter 7 of the charter allows the Security Council to authorize actions ranging from sanctions to military intervention if states do not abide by council demands.

The move by the council is a significant political boost for Baghdad as it struggles to restore its international standing a decade after a U.S.-led invasion of Iraq toppled Saddam in 2003.

The Security Council resolution recognized "the importance of Iraq achieving international standing equal to that which it held prior to (1990)." U.S.-led troops drove Iraq out of Kuwait in the 1991 Gulf War.

"This is a new beginning for the relations between our two neighborly and brotherly countries," Iraq's Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari told reporters after the vote. "This is an example for other countries also to resolve their disputes and differences through peaceful means."

The only issues linked to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait that remain under Chapter 7 are an arms embargo and Baghdad's payment of $52 billion in compensation to Kuwait, diplomats say. Iraq still owes $11 billion and has said it expects to pay by 2015.

There are still a range of Chapter 7 issues imposed on Baghdad after Saddam's ouster in 2003, diplomats say, including the freeze and return of Saddam-era assets and trade ban on stolen Iraqi cultural property.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has recommended that the U.N. political mission in Iraq should take responsibility for facilitating the search for missing Kuwaitis, or their remains, property and the country's national archives.

Is The Machine Already Awake -- Is That Snowden's Biggest Revelation?
In private conversations in recent years I have explored the idea with other writers and researchers that artificial intelligence may already be here; that the global network of the Internet and associated electronic systems of radio, television, telephone networks, banking and financial systems, communications satellites and intercontinental fiber optic cable systems, CCTV and security cameras, massive governmental and corporate data bases, civil government, military and corporate control systems of all types and more -- may have awakened.

From Obese to Trim The Lazy Way

From Obese to Trim The Lazy Way

Most people have had the experience.
You know what I'm talking about...
When you go to the doctor's office for your checkup, and lo and behold, the first thing that "greets" you when you're called in from the waiting room is...
...the dreaded scale.
At that moment you wish you wore a burlap sack instead of your heavy suit or bulky sweater, and you frantically remove your shoes before you step on to conserve every ounce.
You swear you can hear the scale giggling at your misery.
The nurse makes a note of your weight and says, "Hmmm, you're up a few pounds from last year."
Grrrr.
Then the doctor (who looks like he's auditioning to be the next Pillsbury Dough Boy himself) comes in and says you should take off some weight. After all, you're not getting any younger and you don't want the weight to continue to creep up.
So you leave the office feeling like the Michelin Man and completely frustrated because you don't know where to begin, what to do or how "big" you really are.
If you've had that experience recently or want know whether you're overweight or obese (and most importantly, what to do about it!), read on.
Overweight versus obese--what's the difference?
Back in the 80's when I worked for a health insurance company, we used tables that showed weight ranges for various heights for men and women.
There were color-coded sections for underweight, normal weight and overweight, and obesity was defined as being 150% of your normal bodyweight.
That may have been OK for insurance underwriting purposes, but in reality there was room for a big swing in each of the weight levels. Someone could fall within the range of "normal weight," but still look like they invented the Krispy Kreme diet.

The new guides--let's zero in on YOUR blob
Current weight guidelines provide a more "specialized" look at the size of the lump in your rump by first of all redefining overweight and obesity.
Overweight means have excess WEIGHT for your height, whereas obesity refers to an abundance of body FAT.
And the Body Mass Index (BMI) takes a closer, more defined look at someone's specific height and weight as an indicator of whether they just are carrying some excess baggage or are truly obese.

So what's your BMI and what does it mean?
You can calculate your BMI by using one of these formulas:
BMI = [weight (kg)] / [height (m)] ²
BMI = [weight (lb)] / [height (in)] ² x 703.1

Or, you can take the easy way out and just look it up on this table:
Most medical organizations including the CDC use the following criteria to assess bodyweight based on BMI:
< 18.5 = underweight
18.5 - 24.9 = healthy weight
25.0 - 29.9 = overweight
> 30 = obese

What kind of fruit are you?
Now, if you're in or approaching the big "O" range, it's important to also look at what kind of "fruit" you are.
As in, an apple or a pear.
Central obesity (aka "apple shape") is having a concentration of fat in your abdominal region.
On the other hand, people with a concentration of fat in the lower body region (hips, buttocks and thighs) are referred to as "pear shaped."
Men tend to more often be apple-shaped and women are more frequently pear-shaped.
With central obesity (apple shapes), there is a greater tendency for elevated blood levels of LDL, triglycerides, glucose and insulin, and lower HDL levels.
So understandably, high concentrations of intra-abdominal fat are associated with high blood pressure, type II diabetes, metabolic syndrome and chronic inflammation.
Although pear shapes have not been shown to have the immediate health dangers of apple shapes, if fat is accumulating ANYwhere in your body, insulin resistance is very likely a culprit.
And that eventually will be a major problem for you regardless of your shape.
With time, as insulin resistance worsens, people who store fat below the belt will likely start accumulating it above the belt too. At that time, they will start facing all of the health problems their apple shaped counterparts suffer with.
In addition, a pear shaped person will typically be more susceptible to cellulite and varicose veins.

Take it off and keep it off without endless hour in the gym
Regardless of whether you're just a little overweight or out and out obese, it IS possible to finally take off the weight and most importantly, KEEP it off.
Now, don't expect to become Twiggy overnight. That's not reality.
A good, consistent rate of poundage Ioss is about 2 pounds per week.
Expecting to lose more than that is setting yourself up for failure, yo-yo dieting and eventually becoming even bigger.
And gritting your teeth next time you face the doctor's scale.
The best way to finally slim down and stay that way is to eat real foods and make sure your digestion is efficient.
Here's the scoop on both of those:
REAL foods takes off weight FAST
At least half and preferably 70-80% of what you eat should be real foods.
Real foods include fresh fruits, raw or lightly cooked vegetables, lean meats and poultry, fish, whole grains, dairy and essential fats.
When you eat real foods like these, your body gets nourished the way it needs to be.
And when you're nourished, these wonderful things happen:
- You get full faster and end up eating less overall.
- The foods you're eating are inherently lower in calories than pizza, burgers, fries, chips or whatever other nutritionally dead foods you may have eaten in the past.
- Because you're properly nourished, you'll also STAY full and satisfied longer, so your chances of binging or late night snacking have just been slashed.
All of this means: You get lean and stay lean!
Plus, the natural water content in whole fruits and vegetables helps sweep away wastes from your cells.
Efficient digestion helps maintain weight
If your foods are not being broken down like they should be, you're not getting the maximum nutrition from them. And that causes feelings of hunger which leads to overeating (and weight gain).
In addition, when your digestion is poor, that leads to waste buildup in your colon which can cause harmful bacteria overgrowth, weaken your immune system and also bump up that scale number.
It can also cause constipation, gas, bloating and eventually diverticulosis.
Accomplishing good digestion is easy--it's just is a matter of eating foods that digest well together, and giving your body a little assistance if needed.
I can help you with both of those.
1- The right food pairings takes off excess weight
In the Great Taste No Pain system, I'll show you what foods to eat and how to structure your meals so you can enjoy super-efficient digestion, have regular BMs and...Take off those excess pounds!
And if gluten is a concern for you, there's also Great Taste No Gluten. You'll learn the same food pairing principles as in Great Taste No Pain, plus get a collection of outstanding gluten-free recipes and guides for staying gluten free no matter where you are.

2- Digestive "helper" helps drops pounds
Many people who have had a typical hard-to-digest diet all their lives may be dangerously low in digestive enzymes. That means poor digestion and an invitation for weight gain.
Plus, many people "fall off the wagon" now and then and eat foods they know aren't healthy or won't digest well...so they need a little digestive "help" during moments of weakness.
The help you need is right here--with Digestizol Max.
Digestizol Max helps your body break down whatever you've eaten -- proteins, fats, carbs, fiber -- and conserves your limited enzyme supply.
This will help keep your digestion running smoothly, even if you're low in enzymes or you massively mess up with your food choices.
Read more about Digestizol Max and all the ways it can help you here.

When you do what really works and take off pounds in a sensible, realistic way, that's when you achieve true lasting success.
And who knows? Maybe you'll be able to give your doctor some weight Ioss advice next time you go for a checkup.
Wouldn't THAT be a hoot?
To your health,

Sherry,
I just wanted to tell you how thrilled I am with your Great Taste No Pain program. I have been using it for about 2 months now and, WOW, what a difference.
I Iost 10 pounds without even trying, and I haven't had to take my GERD medicine, nor have I had a migraine, since starting on the plan.
I have already had two friends order your plan and they are having very similar results, and more friends are planning to order it. It's a great deal considering how much we would normally spend on "the pills" and this is a much healthier alternative.
All I can say is THANK YOU for all you've done for those of us with health problems that appeared to be "lifelong" and could only be managed by a daily pill!
I love not having to take pills anymore and having more energy than ever.
THANKS AGAIN...YOU'RE THE GREATEST!

[Readynow] Maryrose misskitty05 my question is---after all the build up in Iraq, how do you think THEY would react if no vote? IMO they have to have been given some pretty strong assurances to build their people up like this. Otherwise, very explosive

Berean] this vote is only regarding Iraq, don't forget there are other countries currencies in a global reset. We may be looking at only one of the requirements, of one country, in this reset

[bigdogmom] Berean that's what we are waiting for IMO

[msjeta1] Berean as we have been told Iraq is the catalyst that starts the whole thing rolling

[Berean] I just hope we don't have another let down

[Midnight Blue] Has anyone mentioned that Gold fell by over $51 today?

[Robertprofessor] Midnight Blue Is it below $1200 now?

[Midnight Blue] Robertprofessor No it fell to about 1213 and is now up a little to 1234

[mykitty] Midnight Blue Didn't you once say it would drop below 1000 again

[montana2] Midnight Blue I recall reading someone on a post 2-3 months ago who said that when gold fell to 1217 that's when the RV would happen. Did they know something back then? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

[Midnight Blue] 2 1/2 years ago, I posted an article in okie's forum that predicted that gold will fall to between 800 and 1200. I still stand by that.

[mykitty] Midnight Blue That must have been where I read that.

[Robertprofessor] Midnight Blue Back years ago when gold first went above $1,000, I was eating lunch with some of the colleagues, mostly business school and econ professors. I said something about buying gold. They thought I was nuts ... and then it went up to $1700.
