Here's Everything We Expect From Microsoft’s Big Windows 10 Event on Wednesday

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, Microsoft will finally give us a taste of what consumers can expect from the next version of Windows, at an event it’s calling the Windows 10 Consumer Preview.

The tech giant previously gave us a brief look at Windows 10 in a “technical” preview it launched for business and IT professionals back in September. But this time, we’re going to see how Windows 10 will work for real human beings.

We’ll be covering the event live as it happens via our Windows 10 live blog, so check back on Jan. 21 for our coverage. In the meantime, here’s everything we expect to see on Microsoft’s big day.

1. A more cohesive design across devices
We already have a pretty good idea of how the latest version of Windows 10 will look, thanks to the previously released Windows 10 Technical Preview.

But Microsoft also plans to extend the look and feel of Windows 10 across a variety of platforms, including tablets, smartphones, and the Xbox One gaming console. How exactly Microsoft will do this will differ between device types. Tablets will likely retain a more Windows 8 tile look than the more desktop-focused design Windows 10 will use for PCs.

But little is known about how Windows 10 will work on smartphones and the Xbox One. Reports indicate that the design of the smartphone version of the OS will hew more closely to the desktop version’s. We’re curious how that will work.

There’s still no word as to how Windows 10’s design will impact the Xbox One, though we’re likely to find out more on Jan. 21.

2. We’ll learn more about Continuum mode
One of the biggest complaints we had with the PC version of Windows 8 was that it put more emphasis on the tablet-friendly, tile-based Start screen than the traditional desktop.

To address that problem, Microsoft has introduced “Continuum mode,” which lets users of 2-in-1 devices like the Surface Pro 3 switch seamlessly between desktop and tablet modes.

In a video demonstration, Microsoft previously showed how the Surface runs in desktop mode when connected to a keyboard, and how it automatically switches over to tablet mode when the keyboard is disconnected.

Beyond that video demonstration, we haven’t been able to see much more about Continuum mode, so expect to see a more thorough explanation of the feature during Microsoft’s event.

3. There will be an all-new Web browser
According to Mary Jo Foley of ZDNet, who has accurately reported Microsoft rumors in the past, Windows 10 will come with a new Web browser codenamed Spartan.

 Foley said the browser will look and feel more like Google’s lightweight Chrome and Mozilla’s Firefox, which will be a welcome change from the Internet Explorer’s clunky interface.

IE will, however, still included with Windows 10 for websites that require the browser to run properly.

4. Cortana comes to the desktop
According to a variety of reports and leaks, Windows 10 will come with a desktop-based version of Microsoft’s virtual assistant, Cortana.

The feature, according to the Verge’s Tom Warren, will replace the existing Windows 10 desktop search, and function much the same way Cortana does on Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform, complete with calendar reminders, the ability to open apps, and both local and Web-based search.

It’s not yet clear if you’ll also be able to dictate questions for Cortana or if it will work solely via text-based queries. Given the processing power in a desktop PC, we expect it to be fully voice-powered. That’s also something Apple hasn’t yet given us with OS X: There is, so far, no Siri for the Mac desktop. 

5. A better Windows Phone?
Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system has been something of a fiasco for the tech giant’s mobile effort. Tom Warren at The Verge reports that the new version of Windows Phone serves as a combination of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 and Windows RT. Windows RT is a now failed version of Windows 8 that was meant to run on tablets, but was criticized for lacking many of the features of the desktop version of Windows 8, including the ability to run full desktop programs.

 

One big change: Consumer may be able to use apps across smartphones, tablets, and desktops. That would make sense, as Microsoft has previously said that it wants to create a single app store for all of its Windows 10 platforms.

6. When can you get the Consumer Preview?

If past precedent is any indicator, Microsoft will make its Windows 10 Consumer Preview available to Windows Insiders shortly after the Jan. 21 event. It’s worth noting, however, that the preview will still be an early test build of Windows 10, so you can expect to run into some bugs and hiccups if you install it. We don’t recommend that anyone use the pre-release Windows build on their primary (or only) computer.

7. A Windows 10 release date
Though unlikely, there’s a chance that Microsoft could give us a more definitive release date for the final version of Windows 10.

According to Reuters, Microsoft’s chief operating officer, Kevin Turner, told the Japanese news service Nikkei that Windows 10 will be made available in the late summer or early fall of 2015.

Hopefully, the company will be more forthcoming about the exact date at the Consumer Preview event.

The father of a 2-year-old with late-stage cancer is facing jail time for using cannabis oil in an attempt to ease his daughter’s suffering.

 

When Adam Koessler’s 2-year-old daughter, Rumer Rose, was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma recently, he began supplementing her chemo treatments with doses of cannabis oil, seeing “amazing” results.

 

Still, Koessler lives in Australia, where medical marijuana is illegal, and he was arrested Jan. 2 for his efforts.  He was released on bail but now faces charges for possessing dangerous drugs and for supplying them to a minor, and is due back in court on Friday.

 

The situation has outraged thousands around the world who have signed online petitions and raised money in support of the single dad.

 

STORY: Parents Under Investigation for Neglect After Allowing Kids to Walk to Playground

 

“He is a father doing whatever possible to save his child… let him go,” writes one of nearly 114,000 supporters on a Change.org petition to drop Koessler’s charges and legalize medical marijuana. Says another, “If the law states that this man cannot give his terminally ill… daughter something that improves her quality of life, than the law needs to be changed. The fact that this man has had his parental rights taken away by an ignorant legal system that has absolutely no right to do so absolutely disgusts me."

 

STORY: Infant’s Life Was Saved by Cannabis, Mom Claims

 

On Christmas Eve, Rumer was diagnosed with stage-4 neuroblastoma — a pediatric cancer that develops from immature nerve cells — according to Koessler, who shared details of his story on a GoFundMe page he set up to help with his daughter’s care. (Koessler could not be reached for comment by Yahoo Parenting.) Doctors proposed 12 months of chemotherapy, while Rumer’s father and mother (who are not a couple) began a complementary therapy of naturopathic medicine, gluten-free meals, and medical-grade cannabis oil which has been used around the world with varying success rates to treat conditions from ulcers and migraines to cancer and epilepsy.

 

While the notion of treating children with marijuana remains controversial, Koessler says the oil worked wonders.  “The results were amazing,” he writes. “What we saw when Rumer was given the medical cannabis oil what nothing short of miraculous. Her cancer ridden little body was alive again — Rumer had almost instant quality of life…Her skin color came back, her eyes were sparkling again…We were certain after seeing these results that her recovery was entirely possible.”

 

Medicinal marijuana is banned in Australia, though the leader of the state of Victoria, Daniel Andrews, has said he wants to make it legal there by the end of 2015.

 

After Koessler’s arrest at a Brisbane hospital, where Rumer is being treated, he was told a condition of his bail was that he could not see his daughter; that was changed on Jan. 16, according to the Brisbane Times. Local supporters are planning a protest for February, while thousands continue to support the family online through Change.org, various Facebook pages, and two GoFundMe pages, for Rumer’s care and for her dad’s legal fees, which have raised more than $15,000 and nearly $4,000 respectively.

On Jan. 9, Rumer was moved to the hospital’s intensive care unit after having seizures.

 

In the meantime, note administrators of Koessler’s Fearless Father page on Facebook, “We want to say thank you to all of the amazing people who are supporting Adam, sending him hundreds of personal messages of support, showing your support on this page. All of that positive is helping Adam to stay calm and believe that good will come of all of this. This is a fight that will make a difference for so many people around Australia and the world.”

Billionaire George Soros Funded Ferguson Protests to the Tune of $33 Million

 

 

Remember back after the Michael Brown shooting and in the lead up to the Darren Wilson grand jury decision when I reported on the fact that “direct action trainings” for protesters were being held across the country, and highly organized protests were scheduled in some 83 cities (including one in Canada!) complete with a fancy social media campaign designed by skilled graphic artists?

 

At that point, they weren’t even being called “protests” anymore, but “planned responses” organized through something called the “Ferguson National Response Network”.

 

 

 

I wrote:

“This is not your average civil disobedience. Martha Stewart has thrown less organized birthday parties than this. There are White House functions with less planning and training involved. Anyone else get the sense that this whole thing has been co-opted?”

Then a little further down —

A little over a week ago, The Washington Post ran an article titled, “Ferguson protest organizers: ‘I sleep, eat and breathe this.’” 

Really? 

Here’s an excerpt: 

But a common thread runs through some of the most influential organizers. They are black, relatively new to civil rights activism and technologically savvy, masters of social media. Using Twitter, Vine and Instagram, they mobilize their peers, document every twist and turn, and annotate history in real time. 

New to activism, huh? And yet, wow, they just so happen to be influential, savvy tech masters of social media who know how to mobilize everyone? No, that doesn’t stink of George Soros-funded phony color revolution stuff at all… (That was sarcasm, of course.)

It was just way too over-the-top to be believed. “There is a highly organized, scripted, funded, targeted agenda playing out in Ferguson, and people are basically falling for it,” I concluded.

 

Well…

 

This week, Washington Times investigative journalist Kelly Riddell is reporting that billionaire George Soros funded groups behind the organization of the Ferguson protesters to the tune of $33 million in just one year through his Open Society Foundation.

 

Here are a few excerpts from her exposé:

Soros-sponsored organizations helped mobilize protests in Ferguson, building grass-roots coalitions on the ground backed by a nationwide online and social media campaign. 

Other Soros-funded groups made it their job to remotely monitor and exploit anything related to the incident that they could portray as a conservative misstep, and to develop academic research and editorials to disseminate to the news media to keep the story alive. 

The plethora of organizations involved not only shared Mr. Soros‘ funding, but they also fed off each other, using content and buzzwords developed by one organization on another’s website, referencing each other’s news columns and by creating a social media echo chamber of Facebook “likes” and Twitter hashtags that dominated the mainstream media and personal online newsfeeds.         

So Soros paid for everything Ferguson unrest, from the artsy social media campaigns, to the organization on the ground, to the exploitation and propaganda in the press.

 

“The financial tether from Mr. Soros to the activist groups gave rise to a combustible protest movement that transformed a one-day criminal event in Missouri into a 24-hour-a-day national cause celebre,” Riddell wrote.

 

Surprise, surprise. Never let a good crisis go to waste, right?

 

It’s no wonder Obama left his vacation early to meet with Attorney General Eric Holder on the Michael Brown shooting. He had orders from his boss.

 

Some community organizer. Just goes to show that some people use their exorbitant wealth to at least superficially pretend they are helping humanity, while others spend it openly and blatantly drumming up mass civil unrest on racial lines in an overblown police state to further bring down a nation.

Afghanistan and the Sad Result of the Western Occupation

 
The “democratic” Western media, following the order all as one, proclaimed in a loud voice that the military forces of NATO and the USA had completed “the combat mission on security assistance in Afghanistan”. In other words, the Western troops which occupied that country in 2001 under a hollow pretext now have to ingloriously hoist their sails.

In his statement that can be found on the official website of the organization Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg said in a pompous manner that “We are completing our mission and opening a new chapter in our relationship with Afghanistan.” However, he did not say a single word about the fact that the occupiers had destroyed the country and its economy in the name of their own objectives. “The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) has become one the largest coalitions in recent history, more than 50 countries have taken part in its activities. Our task was to restore order in the country and to create local security forces. We have accomplished that task successfully, having paid a high price,” the Secretary General stated demagogically.

In this case he remained true to himself as well as other Western political leaders, who attempt to whitewash themselves and their actions in every possible way. But the data show that over the 13 years of occupation ISAF lost in Afghanistan more than 3,500 soldiers, 2,200 of them US citizens, and spent around $700 billion. At the same time, more than 21,000 civilians have been killed by the western occupiers, for which the western leaders, according to international laws, should be brought to justice as was in Nuremberg, but they have not even apologized. Those are Afghans, so who cares – they are second-rate people and do not belong to the Western world, which is why the Western leadership, having no shame, thinks that they can be eliminated without the slightest prick of conscience.

However, having occupied Afghanistan, the West is not going to leave a country so promising in all respects. According to NATO’s plans, in 2015 about 12,000 NATO soldiers are to stay deployed in the country, of which 10,800 are Americans.

Observers note that despite the victorious statements of the representatives of the Western military and political leadership, the withdrawal of NATO soldiers is taking place amid a significant rise in activity of the Taliban movement, systemic economic and political crisis. In the last year alone the number of casualties among Afghan personnel rose by 6.5% to 4,634 people. And at the same time the state budget of Afghanistan, “thanks” to the West, is almost completely dependent on foreign aid, and the leadership of the country has been trying in vain to form a government of national unity for 3 months.

That is why there is another point of view on that problem and it is absolutely different from the Western one. For example, the Taliban movement issued an official statement according to which NATO forces have suffered an utter defeat in Afghanistan. “The International Security Assistance Force furled its flag in an atmosphere of disappointment and failure, without any substantial achievements,” reads the statement of Taliban representative Zabikhulla Muhahideen. He says, that “the demoralized forces formed by Americans will always suffer defeats, just like their masters.”

And one may agree with this point of view. For this is no way of victoriously leaving but rather of running away. On the 28th of December, in a setting of strict secrecy, the NATO flag was furled from above the headquarters of the allied group of forces in Kabul and the non-combat flag of another mission, “Resolute Support”, was raised, meaning a tenfold reduction of the number of foreign troops on Afghan soil (though instructors and special units still remain there). The only thing which was known was that the flag ceremony took place somewhere on Afghan territory. By the way, during that period American military and political leadership had visited Afghanistan only under conditions of complete secrecy; they were landing in the evening and, as a rule, never ventured out of the American bases. In the old days only a thief could behave in that way who would sneak into homes of citizens in the night and rob them.

At the same time, John Campbell, the Commander of the International Security Assistance Force, stated not demagogically but impertinently: “We have led the Afghan people out of darkness and fear and given them hope for the future.” By the way, the Afghan state itself existed and prospered back when there was no United States on the world map. It is not clear what future the general sees, having been defeated in Afghanistan far more than once. Apparently, the “brave” general already dreams of resignation and is looking for a cushy position, like the one that is still occupied by the rather physically and morally demoralized Jennifer Psaki.

There can be no doubt that the US Army and its allies are leaving behind a Taliban strengthened and hardened in battle, whose morale and fighting spirit will rise even higher after such an exodus of occupiers. They are also leaving a record harvest of opium poppy which is many times larger than it was in 2001. They are leaving “dismantled” even those parts of Afghanistan that are commonly called “civilized”. Ashraf Ghani has been trying for 3 months to negotiate the formation of a new government with his sworn coalition partner Abdullah Abdullah. It is common knowledge that when the hope for a consensus is lost in the East, they find a pretext for a civil war, especially now that the American personnel took the trouble to leave piles of various kinds of weapon there. Venomous tongues state that soon all these weapons will be taken by the Taliban, as had happened previously in Iraq, when the Iraqi army “transferred” its weapon stock to the organization “Islamic State”. And then, beyond any doubt, a new tide of civil war will come.

Independent experts, all as one, assert that there will be no peace and order in the ancient land of Afghanistan, despite the task which had been given to the coalition forces. The acts of terrorism continue to take place on the territory of the country, cars are being blown up, people are dying, some are being taken hostage, and drugs are being produced. While the coalition forces were in Afghanistan, the production of drugs increased by a factor of three! “The presence of coalition forces in Afghanistan,” summarizes the Egyptian newspaper al-Ahram, “on the one hand was useless, and on the other, it just sharply aggravated the situation.”

The assessment of the situation by the more serious mass media is similarly pessimistic. The Washington Times has published confidential government documents on the state of the government’s infrastructure in Afghanistan. The periodical draws the conclusion that the USA has failed to create a reliable system of civil authority in that country. Almost all the ministries of the Afghan government are not capable of providing qualified governance after the withdrawal of American troops.

The newspaper came into possession of assessments of the national and state building program in Afghanistan, prepared by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Gaps in the knowledge of high-ranking officials, their preparedness and competence of governing were often assessed as “critical”. If they are left to their own devices, the whole government infrastructure will soon collapse. The periodical says that the State Department tried to conceal these facts from the public. From the point of view of the newspaper, the general conclusion of USAID’s report is that “in forming a sustainable civil government in Afghanistan, American leadership often bet on apparently corrupted politicians and extremists who were trying to destabilize the country.”

The Washington Times also presented information about US expenditures in Afghanistan. Since 2001 the country has spent $600 billion on military operations and the maintenance of a military contingent, $102 billion on the “reconstruction of the government”, and another $20 billion on financing USAID in Afghanistan.

All these efforts have not had any important influence on the activities of the Taliban, drug traffic dynamics, or the potential for a civil war which may break out with new force at any time. The Taliban themselves did not like the idea of coming out of the “darkness”. Close to Afghanistan, the international terrorist network took an epic form in “The Islamic State”.

After 13 years, the economic basis of Afghanistan has not been created, and the unemployed population of the country has no choice but to grow the most profitable crop – opium poppy. Even the US State Department admitted that production has reached its historic maximum. Afghanistan produces up to 90% of illegal opium in the world. Obama gives speeches, and caravans loaded with raw narcotic material renew old trails and blaze new ones. Class struggle is flaring up in the USA with murders and massive protests – the fact that Boeings are no longer crashing into the Pentagon has not made the country a safer place.

Thus, the sad result of the longest US war in Afghanistan is chaos, the demolition of peace and international security, and also a huge blow to American and European taxpayers. And what is going to happen to the Afghan people who have been thrown into the abyss of poverty and discord by NATO is of no concern for the West.

The radical plunge in the Euro last week against the Yen, the US dollar and especially the Swiss Franc is a clear indication the battle over control of the financial system, and the world, is coming to a climax. The Swiss move to decouple their Franc from the Euro came one week before an elite summit meeting in Davos, Switzerland is due to kick off with a keynote speech by China’s number 2 Li Keqiang. This is the first time the Chinese government has sent any one significant to Davos in 5 years. The speech will focus on China’s take on the international situation and will offer possible solutions to various international problems. This Davos meeting is being called “A New Global Context” a name clearly meant to disassociate it with the fascist New World Order. In closed room sessions, Chinese government sources say Li will be discussing

Chinese/Swiss financial integration. What this clearly indicates is that the Swiss banking world, including the central bank for central banks the BIS, have joined the BRICS/UK/Pentagon alliance.

This was the biggest move in a week marked by many seemingly unrelated dramatic events. Perhaps the best way to understand all the other chaotic and often bizarre incidents that took place last week is to think of it in terms of a gang war. Then we can begin to connect some, but not all, of the dots.

First, remember late last year Christine Lagarde, the French head of the IMF, issued an ultimatum to the people in Washington DC to either agree to IMF voting reform or they would go ahead in January without them. Then in January French President Francois Hollande called for an end to US orchestrated sanctions against Russia.

Immediately after that came the fake attack against the French magazine Charlie Hebdo. This was followed by a massive PR campaign and a gathering of European leaders and the heads of a few of their client states as can be seen here:

Notice that no Americans, Russians, Chinese, Indian etc. leaders showed up for this PR event. What we have instead is a gathering of Rothschild servants.

These are the people trying to cling to control of the world’s financial system by proposing using IMF issued SDRs, backed by the world’s resources, as a replacement for the US dollar aka world yuan. This faction is calling for voting reform within the IMF but, only limited reform of a sort that will still leave them firmly in charge.

In any case, after this big fake show and provocation of religious conflict, a French police chief was suicided.

Following that, suddenly the Russians cut off all gas to Europe through the Ukraine and told the Europeans they would have to get their gas via Turkey and Greece.

The Russians also told the Greeks that if they left the Euro, Russia would buy huge amounts of agricultural goods from them. These two Russian moves came just before a Greek general election is expected to vote in a political party that wants to end that nation’s debt slavery to the Euro mafia.

While this was all going on, the channel tunnel connecting England with France was shut down by smoke. Also at this time a fleet of Chinese warships happened to be docked in England.

There was also some pretty funky stuff going on last week with Pope Francis in the Philippines. Francis was photographed making a Satanic hand sign while saying he would “punch anybody who insulted his mother.”

This came shortly after the pope barely missed an accident when his airplane mysteriously overshot a runway on landing in the Philippines.

Furthermore, the pope was forced to cut off a speech intended to comfort survivors of a typhoon by an approaching typhoon!

It is worth noting that senior P2 freemason lodge official Marco Di Mauro invited this writer to a meeting with the Pope during his visit to the Philippines. However, Di Mauro mysteriously vanished before the Pope’s arrival and no meeting could be arranged. Di Mauro was in the Philippines searching for gold to back a new financial system under P2 and Vatican control. Apparently some higher power did not think this was a good idea.

Clearly both the Europeans and the P2 Freemasons are under some sort of multi-faceted attack aiming to prevent them from retaining or regaining control of the international financial system.

What about the situation in the US? Well, things are not going well for the gangsters in Washington D.C. either.

For a long time now, they have been lying through their teeth about the economic situation as it continues to deteriorate. Now, once again a January 31st payment deadline is coming up and they are struggling. Furthermore, last week gunmen fired multiple shots at US Vice President Joe Biden’s home. This came amid an ongoing staff crisis at the Secret Service.

There has also been a huge document and evidence dump going on against George Bush Sr. and his Nazi so-called Neo-con group. Bush has not been seen leaving the hospital and so many people who hid in terror from his network are now coming out of hiding.

Now the FBI and the Justice Department have said they are going to bring felony charges against former General and CIA head David Petraeus, according to multiple corporate media reports. However, neither the FBI nor the Justice Department, as they are currently managed, have the moral standing needed to enforce such charges.

The Pentagon and the agency types need to bring military justice to bear on war criminals like Bush Jr., Donald Rumsfeld etc. in a manner that does not become a generalized witch hunt.

They also have the legal tools needed to remove corrupt politicians from Washington D.C. People like George Soros, who has been outed as one of the people spreading money to try to provoke race riots in Ferguson, also need to be jailed like the common criminals they are.

Once this is done, the Pentagon and agency white hats are duty bound to restore the Republic of the United States of America and make sure it issues government currency to replace the no longer American US dollar.

Cabal rule of the world at large can be ended soon too if a concerted push is made by the UK/BRICS/Pentagon alliance.

The Satan worshipping cabalists are now circling their wagons around war criminal Benyamin Netanyahu as seen in the big photo op in Paris.

Japanese slave Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was summoned to Israel to meet his slave driver Netanyahu who will be ordering Abe to continue looting the Japanese financial system for the Satanists. Netanyahu, as we have mentioned before, is the man who threatened to destroy all of Japan’s nuclear power plants unless that country handed over its foreign exchange holdings. For that and many other reasons the push to remove Netanyahu must be continued until that beast is finally in jail where he belongs.

The same is true for the gangster family that named a country, Saudi Arabia, after itself. Insha’Allah, the descendants of Ibn Saud will be dragged from their homes and killed by their own people if they do not take arms against the Wahab Satanists.

Overall though, the battle to overthrow the cabal has reached the mopping up stage with only a few isolated hold outs to take care of.

Once that is finished, a huge campaign to end poverty, stop environmental destruction and turn this earth into the paradise it was meant to be can begin.

Hi Jeff – as I said, constrain him a bit – after many delays, the fundings are coming out as China and the families begin fulfilling agreements reached while Obama was here – it is no accident that the Nimitz was here for 4 days – that’s a tip of the iceberg as far as what is about to happen to the financial superstructure – my work here is a small part of what is happening, but is resulting now in major fundings that will allow the Reconstruction Projects to take place worldwide – this is not about me, but our Humanity – one small item that puts things into perspective is the fact that if we do not spend some amount of trillions and install the carbon sinks, the tectonics will create enough new volcanoes spewing gases, and release of the incredible amount of methane in the permafrost melts, to tip the balance and cause an inversion globally – we have a lower bottom layer that is hot, moisture laden, and increasing in sufficient gasses to flip up and the cold top layer at -273 degrees will flash freeze everything on the ground – remember the wooly mammoths frozen in ice still chewing food? – the top layer then drops into the cold (the rebalance of the temporary inversion), and we get a nice white planet for some number of years – I wish to have my daughter and everybody else to live on a blue/green planet instead of a nice white one – the work I have done since we attempted a strong concept for global distribution of goods and a place for incubators of tech, office space, and marketing, is still viable, but requires funding – between environmental technologies we posses that will prevent the next Ice Age to the new systems being put in place for economic re-development, the doors of the Families here and the China government have opened to release massive fundings world wide – I am part of that – I am well protected by National Security and the China Military Commission for this reason, and the Help that is being provided to Uncle is a large part of my efforts here – this work I have been involved in required silence, yes, but that does not mean I forget those that helped me get there – Investigator Jack’s comments are within bounds, but sadly mistaken on intent, development, and deployment – I have to do things by the book in this process or I would have been killed outright here – if the Investigator has indeed been in HK and China, he would understand that – any attempt at defamation will be dealt with quietly by Security, so be careful investigator – all know my background here as I do not hide it – rather, it is the fact that I am transparent and tell people my background so they can decide if they wish to work with me and only here to Help our Humanity get through this time ahead, that I am still alive and allowed to do the work I do at this level – my advice is for Investigator  to cool his jets as he knows not what he proposes yet – you Jeff, will be paid out within the next 10 banking days at this point, and probably sooner if you wish an approximate timeline – I trust I have been sufficiently clear and remember: time changes things and people greatly, so they bear may bear no resemblance to the original – thank you – in Our service – Jerzy

Labuan, the federal territory of Malaysia off the coast of Sabah and known as an offshore financial center, aims at reaching a total number of registered companies in 2013 of at least 10,000, Bank Negara Malaysia governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz said at a press conference on June 14 in Kuala Lumpur.

Growth would be based on businesses including leasing activities, foundations, insurance and Islamic finance, major segments at the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (Labuan IBFC), she said.

The number of registered companies was 9,811 as of May 2013. Among them, there were 59 banks, 203 insurance and insurance-related companies, 257 leasing companies and 37 trust companies.

Labuan’s banking alone had an asset base of $42.1 billion, according to the Labuan Financial Services Authority’s 2012 annual report. Total assets for Labuan insurance companies were $4.2 billion and total gross premiums grew to $1.7 billion. Of the 29 new licenses issued in 2012, the majority were insurance brokers and captive insurers.

Two large reinsurance companies relocated branches from Europe to Labuan IBFC to focus their businesses in Asia and the Oceania region, the governor said.
