Eric Holder's Newest Witch Hunt
The Department of Justice is executing a "Witch Hunt" against banks. Through the DOJ's Civil Rights Division, Attorney General Eric Holder is forcing banks to "relax their mortgage underwriting standards and approve loans for minorities with poor credit as part of a new crackdown on alleged discrimination," according to a published report by Investor's Business Daily after reviewing court documents.
The DOJ has already extorted $20 million for weak and poor credit loans from banks that "settled out of court rather than battle the federal government and risk being branded racist." The DOJ admits another 60 banks are already under "investigation." Holder's demanding the banks sign "non-disclosure" settlement agreements barring them from talking while allowing the DOJ to operate behind a curtain of secrecy.
The settlements already extracted from banks force them to make "prime-rate mortgages to low income blacks and Hispanics" with credit problems, even if they are living on welfare. According to IBD, the DOJ has ordered banks to advertise that minorities cannot be turned down for a loan "because they receive public aid, such as unemployment benefits, welfare payments or food stamps." No job; no problem!
In other words, the DOJ is forcing banks to make loans to people that they know don't qualify for them and likely won't be able to afford to repay them, which is precisely the kind of failed public policy that precipitated the financial collapse and recession in 2008.
The DOJ ordered Midwest BankCentre to provide "special financing" in the predominantly black areas of St. Louis for fixed prime rate conventional home loan financing for borrowers "who would ordinarily not qualify for such rates for reasons including the lack of required credit quality, income or down payment."
Eric Holder and the head of his Civil Rights Division, Tom Perez were both protégés of Janet Reno who launched a similar attack on banks in the early years of the Clinton Administration. That led to an expansion of the Community Reinvestment Act, CRA, and an explosion of forced lending to low-income, poor credit risk borrowers and the sub-prime mortgage industry that collapsed in 2008. Under the weight of massive guarantees of poor quality and defaulted mortgages, the federal government was forced to seize Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. To date about $150 billion has been required to bailout the two agencies to keep them solvent.
Like Reno, Holder and Perez are pushing their own social agenda, and ramifications to the financial sector and total economy are meaningless to them. They willingly pervert the law and leverage the full weight of the Justice Department to intimidate banks to accomplish their objectives.
Credit analysis and repayment ability of the borrower matter none to Holder and Perez. To them, if a minority is turned down for a loan, it must surely be evidence of racial discrimination. Perez has gone so far as to compare bankers to the Ku Klux Klan. The only difference between bankers and the KKK, he says, is that bankers discriminate "with a smile" and "fine print," but they are "every bit as destructive as the cross burned in a neighborhood."
Holder and Perez appointed another Janet Reno alumnus, Eric Halperin, as Special Counsel for Fair Lending. Previously, Halperin was a lobbyist for the leftist Center for Responsible Lending (CRL) where he pressed congress and the various agencies for continued relaxing of lending standards. Just how objective do you suppose this "special lending cop" is in applying the law?
CRL's website reveals their leftist perspective and agenda; "lenders have strong incentives to engage in unfair, deceptive practices and to aggressively market loans designed to fail." That's pure hooey, of course. Banks make a profit if loans are paid back. They sustain losses when loans fail. But, this phony theory of "disparate impact" or "red-lining" has been used by the left for decades to convince politicians and bureaucrats to force unsound, unsafe lending practices, the consequences of which have been manifested in the current economic mess.
The forced settlements have gone well beyond lending. The concessions that DOJ has imposed have even required banks to fund inner-city "community organizers." According to IBD, "lenders are being forced to bankroll Acorn clones that often exist just to shake them down for risky loans."
As DOJ strong arms banks to relax lending standards to satisfy the Obama Administration's racialist social agenda, other federal agencies are telling banks to do just the opposite. "Banks are damned if they do, damned if they don't," according to Ernest Istook, a Heritage Foundation fellow and former Member of Congress who is critical of DOJ for forcing "affirmative action lending."
The current economic crisis has stressed even the strongest of banks. Bank safety and soundness examiners from the Federal Reserve, the OCC, FDIC, OTS, and NCUA have put the fear of God into banks all across the nation demanding tightened credit standards. They have forced banks to increase capital, add to reserves for losses, mark down asset value of existing credit assets, and questioned virtually every loan the banks make. The CEO of one historically successful community bank told me a regulator demanded, "You will not make another commercial real estate loan." How that bank was supposed to meet the needs of the small businesses in the community while not making loans on commercial real estate was of no concern to the regulator.
The newspapers are full of reports that the government has seized and closed banks, removed management and boards of directors, placed banks on written agreements so tightly drafted that the government has essentially assumed management of the bank while the shareholders, directors and management are still stuck with full risk and liability.
Banks are selling, consolidating, and closing all across America, and going with them is the access to capital and importantly the personal relationship that historically has been vitally important to the success of our entrepreneurial free-market economy. Over 1400 bank offices have closed in the last two years, and many more are expected in 2011. In the wake are exasperated small businessmen wondering what to do next.
If you're confused by the mixed signals and heavy-handedness of government, how would you like to be a banker? Little wonder that banks are afraid to lend and many are almost in lock down. Politicians can talk all they want about getting capital and the economy moving again, but the uncertainty and mixed signals coming from Washington are big reasons why both lenders and borrowers are hiding out in their bunkers.
Thomas Lifson, writing in American Thinker about the DOJ's witch hunt, notes that bankers tend to be "a cowardly lot when confronted by the power of the State." Who can blame them when the government has the power to lock their doors and seize their assets?
Lipson goes on, "Nobody in a highly regulated business wants the government publicly charging racism. A comparatively small group within the Civil Rights Division at the Justice Department has assumed the role of national bank regulators with the intent of favoring groups they support. It's a corruption of the legitimate role of government." Corruption may be an overly polite description.
Added to the bi-polar treatment from the DOJ and other regulators is the fact the very government that controls their every move is now a larger source of consumer credit that all of the private sector banks combined. Recently released Federal Reserve Bank data documents a remarkably rapid and substantial shift to the government as the new credit goliath.
As recently as 2006, the private banking sector provided $2 in outstanding home mortgages and consumer credit for every $1 of government financed loans. The data from the Fed, however indicates that government loans and guarantees now total $6.32 trillion, up from just $4.40 trillion at the end of 2006. For the same period, the private sector market share shrunk to $6.58 trillion from $8.48 trillion.
Curiously, the Fed doesn't count the half-trillion dollars worth of guaranteed student loans as part of the government's total. Historically, local banks originated and financed the Federal Family Education Loan program and the government insured the loans against any loss. But, in 2009 as part of the ObamaCare legislation, the private sector was completely eliminated and beginning in 2010 the government took total control of the entire program. When student loans are added, the government surpasses the entire private sector totals. Even without student loans, with the current trend the government is poised to eclipse the private lenders likely within the current quarter.
The almost overnight collapse of the market for mortgage backed securities as a result of the sub-prime lending debacle – largely precipitated by misguided federal policy forced on lenders – evaporated the private mortgage market, and left Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – that had been seized by the government – as the only game in town for home mortgages.
In the blink of an eye, the federal government went from the small player facilitator to the dominant force in the financial industry dwarfing the combined efforts of the entire private sector competitors. Additionally, the Top Dog in the credit market place is also the all-powerful regulator over the little dogs in the private sector wielding absolute and largely unaccountable authority over their every move. Through the Federal Reserve, that same government controls the price, the access, the circulation, and amount of the currency on which the rest of the market must be dependent. With a national debt of $14.5 trillion and growing, the largest supplier of loans in the world also has the world's greatest demand for credit sucking up massive amounts of available investment capital to finance the growing national debt before the rest of the market gets a chance.
In reality, the federal government during the last two years has essentially seized the banking industry. What the government doesn't do directly, it controls by regulation, intimidation, and by sheer force and power. Obama got in the car business, the health care business, the energy business, and he's got the government holding most of the cards in banking, too. That's the change; the hope is that he gets fired by the voters in 2012.
True-believing progressives like to flaunt their "transformed" definition of a Free-Market Economy: "The freedom of the government to compete with the private sector." They find a little humor in it, but it's far from funny. What has happened in barely two years has seriously altered the rules of the road, the natural order of things, even what it means to be American. Time will tell if these are permanent changes or just a significant deviation in our long-term course. The outcome rests with us: "We the People."

One country is messing up the plan. We are seeing other countries bail out of the deal one at a time & revaluing their currency. How can they have Maritime Status if they have sanctions with the world? since January 1st, they had some of the DFI funds released to them so they could start rebuilding their country, you've got the IMF challenging them that they had from August 2010 to August 2011 to build up their economy, by sterilizing their banks, to pump up their private sector and to raise the zeros off the currency to have a higher value. Why would the IMF have given these ultimatums if there were still restrictions of Chapter 7 sanctions that would cause them to falter or fail or break international laws? It's redundant, truly redundan. I truly believe that everything needed to be done is done, and that Shabibi is waiting for his right time to roll out his lower denominations, the people of Iraq have been more than patient and, I BELIEVE WE ARE THERE.

I decided to place this data at blog level, because unless it is addressed now, some may become confused during the mass landings planned and lack of awareness of this technical issue could create skepticism towards the GFL..
A special note to say that many scoutships utilise landing legs, either tripod, quad or more, in order to prevent earthing of the electric charge that has been built up and takes time to replenish energy, if lost to ground. Atmospheric beam ships use this principle.....
And in order for the plasma field to surround the craft usefully, it must be off ground...that is why the top beam emitter (some are pronounced antenna, or spikes) fire out a positive charge (positrons) which travels around the hull and is contained by the centre plasma foil, which is made of a metal that initially prevents positive-negative contact.... The positrons also repel electrons in the air above, which creates a vacuum above, to draw the ship up, to fill the space...
About 12-feet, or thereabouts off the ground, the bottom located implosion reactors activate (negative pole) and then the positive field from the top of the hull is drawn to the negative field at the bottom and the entire hull radiates with multiple colours as the full effects of the antigravity envelope cucooons the ship and it then possesses an electro-magnetic potential to travel under it's own generated gravity.....
So the landing legs allow such a swift transit from ground to air, without loss of charge......they are made of a special non conductive metal which can insulate...a simple solution, and a way to conserve energy that continued flight would not allow. For example, if a craft always hovered above ground rather than landed....

Dear Lightbearers,
The sequence of events leading to ultimate Planetary ascension will be along these lines.....
Initial arrests, of all primary accused parties within the Illuminoid families and their cohorts....completed on an international scale...They are already contained and trapped on earth, so currently denied the freedom to travel off-world to escape justice. The arrested will be sent to prison or jail, to await trial, in any country they are detained in. International legal processes are in place and primed to act.
Next, the sequence of events requires the political changes, in the form of the global regime changes we are expecting, including the UK & US, those most powerful pillars that support the dark empire that spans earth...It is particularly important that the USA Corporation is dis-assembled by the caretaker regime, that wins back constitutional power over a restored republic...As the regime announces the restored rights, freedoms and liberties of citizens, it will also align the new policy with a global rollout, sharing the United States bill of rights, with the whole world, politically...
Peace is declared, as well as a new financial system, based on sound money and precious metals-backed currencies....The dollar, backed by gold-silver-platinum-paladium will be catapulted into such a high value, that all other nations will likewise have to back their currencies, to level the playing field, fiscally...(or, all companies would relocate to America.)
New education programmes are announced and unveiled using a co-operative international media, operating under new mandates and without the former restrictions on what they report, the press too...
The history books are formally re-written and science is also corrected by learned scientists....religion will be required to reflect upon it's many errors over the centuries.
Then new programmes of achieving zero taxation, neutralising the Federal Reserve bank and IRS, will be put in place....only sales tax will be permitted, and no income tax for individuals...again this very US constitutional policy will be mirrored in other countries, including my own, in which a reformed Bank of England, with co-operative links to the new Treasury bank in the US, as well as central banks globally.
All financial debts, both national and individual, are cancelled and the old banking order placed under bankruptcy proceedings....the stock markets will be dismantled and corporations will be re-chartered as servants of the people of the World. The competitive motive will be replaced by the co-operative motive...announced formally.
Then, the prosperity programmes will be announced, which will be massive financial injections into economies from the Saint Germain World Trust and former Illuminoid trusts...Monies for charities, a well as basic infrastructure projects, to massively redress the imbalance between the small number of "haves," and the vast numbers of "have nots." Lord Maitreya's call for SHARING, will become state policy...
Then the Day of Declaration and the Ascended Masters will officially externalise the Spiritual Hierarchy...The "World Teacher" (his title) will be revealed and exposed to full publicity and he will introduce the other Masters, initially including Master Jesus, Master Koothumi and Master Racoczi. Then the secrecy and "national security" restrictions will be lifted on aetheric energy devices.....and many such devices will be marketed and sold over the counter to people all over the globe...and even the charity organizations will be distributing such devices to the needy in the most remote regions on earth...power for homes, but drawn independently of the electric grid, for example...
Many Lightworkers will be involved in obtaining, training, applying and teaching others how to use the aetheric energy based techology of Light. Then special environmental clean-up technologies will also be unvelied and purchased (with people's great abundance) by teams of world anti-pollution project members...many will volunteer, as the spirit of altruism, joy of service and deep dedication to helping others, as well as mother earth, takes hold in hearts and minds.
Nobody will need payment, as all will be extremely wealthy and comfortable...with no debts, no taxes, no lack and no worries...In spite of this, others will still work for a wage, as they prefer to and are used to that lifestyle.
THEN GOVERNMENTS WORLDWIDE WILL ANNOUNCE UFO DISCLOSURE...the media and science will be onboard with this and the reformed governments....the "national security" blocks having been lifted....First Contact will be officially announced, before the mass landings are allowed.(we do have an emergency alternative plan, though)
After several mass fly-overs, each getting vaster and vaster...the GFL will also station the motherships in orbit and decloak...so ALL WILL SEE THEM WITHOUT FAIL....The press will report the "cities in the sky." They will be seen by all and also on TV and in the papers, clearly.
In response, the people and governments will invite the Mass landings with joy...MASS LANDINGS using millions of scout ships, globally, landing in every open space, national parks, rural fields, public greens, etc....Not in city centres, though, unless parkland. They will be met by officials and the people will surround their craft.
ET personnel will be formally introduced to the world and seen on TVs everywhere...They will be seen with political leaders from the caretaker regimes, as well as GFL Ground Crew personnel. The initial tranche will be humanoids and people will be surprised at how "normal" they appear, although wearing strange clothing and carrying exotic equipment...Technologies to share with all, freely.
After the mass landings, the technology roll out programmes will include GFL technologies and techniques, also, alongside the more backward Illuminoid devices, already distributed, which include some Atlantean technologies..The Sirians and others will be offering replicator devices, to help manifest numerous items, including food, clothing and any molecular stucture.
The trials of the Illuminoid families will commence, for the interest and education of the entire world to witness.
As you see, the steps are dynamic and bold....each one starts and triggers the next to start, in close succession...like a line of dominoes. The destination is the Light Chambers, where all ascendees are due to make their ultimate transformations.
The GFL Ground Crew will be active in supporting all steps, but our public announcements will only be completed at the same time as First Contact....we are a mirror of the GFL Flight Crew, and together victorious.

Tony Gambino of the infamous Gambino New York crime family said besides
Mob Bosses, the outfits that benefit most from organized crime are the
corrupt Vatican and U.S. government.
The grandson of Lucky Luciano, Gambino made a guest appearance Tuesday on
Greg Szymanski's radio show, The Investigative Journal on Liberty Radio

The high-level former mobster talked openly for an hour, indicting top
Vatican and U.S. government officials with complicity in high crimes,
treason and assassinations as they worked together "like a tight-knit
happy family" with the Gambino and other Mafia families.
With America's fascination of the Mafia, Gambino's statements should
shake the halls of St. Peter's Basilica, as well as Capitol Hill, since
he talked about his first hand knowledge of George Bush, the Pope and
other high level Jesuits complicity and knowledge of 9/11.
"When you grow up in "The Family" like I did, you learn right off the bat
that protection comes from everywhere, including the CIA, FBI and
blessings from the Vatican who are at the top of the ladder when it comes
to benefiting from Mafia street crime," said Gambino, who became a "Made
Man" at the age of five, a Mafia term used for their top street captains.

Besides implicating the Vatican and Bush in 9/11, Gambino set the record
straight about the JFK assassination, saying he was in Dallas when
Kennedy was shot and the fatal bullet came from a shooter located in an
underground storm drain.
"I was there when he was shot and I know for a fact Rosselli was in the
storm drain doing the shooting and Frank Sturgiss was also part of the
hit team," said Gambino. "The same group of guys we have talked about in
the Vatican and U.S. government gave the orders and asked the Mafia
families for help in taking down Kennedy."
Growing up on the streets of New York in one of the top crime families,
Gambino recalls getting his first lesson of Mafia life at the age of 13.
"My grandfather was Lucky Luciano so I had it made," said Gambino, now 63
and living on the East Coast with a probation stipulation that he can't
associate or talk with any organized crime figures. "Lucky had all the
politicians and even the Vatican heads in his pocket. He was making $55
to $100 million a week and when Vegas opened the money really started to
roll in.
"He got Frank Sinatra and many others like Marylin Monroe, Tony Bennett,
Dean Martin, Clint Eastwood, Sammy Davis started in Hollywood. He then
would take a percentage of their earnings and this went on for their
entire careers.
"Remember, the horse's head being cut-off in Godfather I and then put in
the Hollywood producer's bed? That really happened and it had to do with
forcing a Hollywood producer to star Sinatra in one of his movies."
Gambino also had inside information about how union boss Jimmy Hoffa was
really killed, saying his time ran out when a huge Mafia debt wasn't repaid.
"Hoffa was working behind the scenes with crack head and truck hi-jacker,
John Gotti," recalls Gambino. "That's all Gotti was good at and when they
brought in a $5 million drug truckload, Hoffa got deeper in debt to the
other Mafia bosses.
"He never gave his courtesy calls to the bosses for repayment and finally
his time ran out so he was killed. They picked him up, put him in a body
bag alive and then dumped his body in one of the concrete abutments at
the George Washington Bridge while the concrete was being poured. All
they did was pay the concrete man $150,000 and the whole thing has been
covered up. But that is where Hoffa's body is today and I know that for a
fact."
Although Gambino knows he's crossing a sensitive line for going public about
the inner-workings of the Mafia and its complicity with the Vatican
and U.S. government, he added that it's important for Americans to
finally understand how things "really work on the streets" and how
Church, State and big business are working together to destroy America.
And if there remains any doubters that the Vatican and Jesuit Order have
had its dirty hands in organized crime in order to destroy the moral and
financial fabric of the U.S., Gambino's confessions should lay that to rest.
"If you don't believe the hard facts and the hundreds of researchers who
have implicated the Vatican to the demise of America, then believe
Gambino because he learned it first hand from being on the streets and
working with the top crime bosses. He has nothing to gain from lying
since he has already served his time and wants to set the record straight
once and for all regarding who are the real controllers of the New World
Order," said one patriot close studying and alerting America of Vatican
and Jesuit intrigue.*

irst off, I’ll use the exchange of a 10,000 IQD (Iraqi Dinar) note as my example. To help explain the economics of this cash-in example, I will use a 1:1 cash-in ratio between the USD (US Dollar) and IQD (Iraqi Dinar), that is given a two-tier payout, and a 2% bank spread.
What You Will Receive:
If you were to cash in your 10,000 IQD note with a bank that charges you a 2% spread, you would personally receive a net take-home of $9,800 credited to your bank account.
What Your Bank Will Receive:
Your Bank will receive a $10,000 credit to its Federal Reserve Account. They will also be able to add the $200 profit to their “capital account”.

What the US Treasury Will Receive:
First off, the US Treasury will receive $3,500 in estimated taxes in the quarter after the exchange, because you are now in the “rich” category and get to enjoy the 35% tax bracket. This lowers the “net cost” of the IQD exchange to the US financial system to $6,500 USD (i.e. $10,000 out – $3,500 in). Furthermore, the US Treasury’s rate is higher than the banking rate (we will use in this example 1.25), thereby further reducing their “net cost” from $6,500 to $4,000.
Oil Now Enters the Picture:
At some point, a Fed-appointed agent orders $12,500 worth of oil from Iraq. Payment will consist of a $12,500 transfer from the Fed’s foreign currency reserve IQD account to the IRAQ Oil payment account at the CBI (Central Bank of Iraq) in a form otherwise known as PetroDollars/PetroDinar. Even though the world spot price of oil is defined in terms of USD, the actual transaction may take place in any internationally recognized currency agreed to by the parties. For example, Iran only accepts Yen from Japan for their oil orders, because they don’t want USD in their foreign currency reserves.
How the CBI “RECAPTURES” the Money:
The $12,500 order is filled with 250 barrels of oil based on the spot price on the date of the sale (for this example we used a $50 USD spot price). What does it cost Iraq to produce the oil to fill this order? Well they have negotiated productions agreements for approximately $1.50 USD/barrel. From that price $.50 USD goes to the national Iraqi oil company who is the partner in the field the oil came from. Out of the remaining $1.00 the other oil field partners have to pay the Iraq government a profit tax of $.35 USD (35%). The net cost to Iraq to produce a barrel of oil used in this scenario is $.65 USD. (i.e. $1.50 – .50 – .35)
What does all that mean? It cost Iraq $162.50 to bring back a 10,000 IQD note! Can they afford that? I think so! So, instead of paying out $12,500 for a 10,000 IQD note, they only pay $162.50! That doesn’t add to the money supply much at all does it! They receive their IQD back and place it in the CBI, or destroy it.
The transaction is completed with the Federal Reserve exchanging foreign reserve credits which are equal to $12,500 USD (which had a net acquisition cost of $4,000 USD for the US) for 250 barrels of oil (which has a TOTAL COST to produce of $162.50 USD for Iraq.
More completely explained, and simply put, it cost Iraq $162.50 USD from their foreign currency reserve accounts to redeem the value of 10,000 IQD, which goes into their operating accounts. At the same time the US got $12,500 worth of oil for a net cost of $4,000. That’s how it was originally planned for Iraq to RV at 1 IQD = 1 USD, with the variable being the political element (i.e. UN Sanctions, GOI (Government of Iraq) actions, IMF actions, World Bank actions etc.)
Other Factors that Strengthen Iraq’s Position and Ability to RV:
■DFI (Development Fund for Iraq) Funds Returned & Other Assets: $280+ Billion USD, plus other frozen assets (estimated at $100 billion) will be returned back to Iraq and added to their foreign currency reserve, bringing it up to $430+ billion USD.
■CBI IQD Reserve Requirement Adjustment: The CBI will change the current fractional IQD reserve requirements from 100% to 15% at the appropriate time. As a result, the the total potential money supply will be raised in value to $2.8 Trillion (430 billion/15), while at the same time, the total physical IQD in circulation will be reduced by removing the large bills with the 3 zeros over a period of 2 years, as they have indicated.
■Oil Production Increased: Iraq will also execute the plan they announced to increase oil production from 2+ million barrels/day to 10 million barrels/day with the resulting revenues flowing directly to the Iraq treasury.
■Oil Futures & Forex Contracts Added: To further stir the pot, the CBI will continue to use it’s sales window to market oil futures and forex contracts. They have shown they can generate significant cash flow in the private market. Think of their impact in public markets.
There, my friends, is how this plan will be enacted and made possible. Taking NOTHING, and turning it into SOMETHING, then bringing it back to a “manageable and reasonable something” that is accepted and supported by seeming endless supplies of oil. This is how the world’s ENTIRE NEW MONETARY SYSTEM will be regenerated and supported and backed, given, in essence, a re-birth and renewed for most governments and economic regions… even by “Black Gold”.
So, here’s the summary for all the “players” involved, giving ballpark numbers, and not taking into account superfluous costs, fees, and other small details that don’t really affect the larger picture:
■Investor’s Net Gain: $10,000 – $200 = $9,800 x .65 = 6,370 for an investment that cost $10
■Bank’s Net Gain: $200 added to “capital account”, plus $2,000 they can use to loan out.
■US Treasury Net Gain: $2,500 from the .25 spread on top + $3,500 in quarterly taxes = $6,000
■CBI/GOI/Iraqi People Net Gain: $12,500 – $162.50 = $12,337.50 + Profits from “Other Factors”
■Overall Net Gain for All Involved: $6,370+$200+$6,000+12,337.20 = $24,907.20
This is the wealth that was generated from a single 10,000 IQD note that was given an original value of approximately $10! Is that amazing or what?! You tell me… can Iraq afford NOT to RV?!!! Will the IMF allow them to NOT RV their currency, but simply replace their large denoms for smaller ones?!!! LOL!!!
