15 Reasons Why The Obamacare Decision Is A Mind Blowing Disaster For America

You can almost always count on
the Supreme Court to do the wrong thing. In fact, just about every major
decision by the U.S. Supreme Court over the last 40 years has been bad for
America. Many were hoping that the Supreme Court would strike down
Obamacare, but the truth is that we all should have known better than to expect
them to get something right. So now America is headed for a complete and
total disaster as Obamacare is fully implemented over the next several
years. Obamacare is going to absolutely shred the infrastructure of our
medical system, it is going to send health insurance premiums soaring, it is
going to dramatically expand the size and the scope of government, it is going
to fundamentally alter the relationships between doctors and their patients and
it is one of the largest tax increases in U.S. history. Not only that, it
is also going to add about a trillion dollars to our national debt over the
next decade. So no, the Obamacare decision is not good news.
Obamacare was one of the worst pieces of legislation in American history, and
now we are stuck with it.It was a 5-4 decision to uphold Obamacare, and the swing vote was Chief Justice John Roberts who was appointed by George W. Bush.
After the vote today, it is hard to have any faith in the U.S. Supreme Court. Many constitutional conservatives kept voting for Republicans in the hope that the direction of the Supreme Court would change, but it hasn’t.
Prior to the Obama administration, Republicans controlled the White House for 20 out of 28 years. If Republicans were going to fundamentally change the nature of the Supreme Court, that was their opportunity.
But it didn’t happen.
Instead, what we have is a Supreme Court that is dominated by judges that have very little respect for the U.S. Constitution. When I was in law school I got to study the Supreme Court pretty closely and I quickly realized that most of the time they simply do whatever they want to do and they make up whatever reasons they can to justify their decisions.
That sounds really bad, but that is the truth.
And thanks to the Supreme Court, we are stuck with Obamacare – at least for now.
The following are 15 reasons why the Obamacare decision is a mind blowing disaster for America….
#1 According to the U.S. Supreme Court, the federal government has the power to force you to buy private goods and services [2]. Now that this door has been opened, what else will we be forced to buy in the future?
#2 Obamacare is another step away from individual liberty [3] and another step toward a “nanny state” where the government dominates our lives from the cradle to the grave.
#3 The IRS is now going to be given the task of hunting down [4] and penalizing millions of Americans that do not have any health insurance. In fact, the Obama administration has given the IRS 500 million extra dollars [5] “outside the normal appropriations process” to help them enforce the provisions of Obamacare that they are in charge of overseeing.
#4 Obamacare imposes more than 20 new taxes on the American people. You can find a comprehensive list of Obamacare taxes right here [6]. If you love paying higher taxes, then you are going to absolutely love Obamacare once it is fully implemented.
#5 In an attempt to “control costs” and “promote efficiency”, Obamacare limits the treatment options that doctors and patients can consider. This is likely to result in a decrease in life expectancy [7] in the United States.
#6 Obamacare is going to impose nightmarish paperwork burdens [3] on doctors, hospitals and the rest of the healthcare system. This is going to significantly increase our healthcare costs as a nation.
#7 Obamacare is going to send health insurance premiums soaring [8]. This is especially true for younger Americans [9].
#8 Many small businesses are going to be absolutely crushed [10] by the provisions in Obamacare that require them to provide expensive health insurance coverage for their employees. This is going to make them even less competitive with companies in other countries where businesses are not required to provide healthcare for their workers. This is also going to make it even less attractive for businesses to hire new employees.
#9 Obamacare is going to make the emerging doctor shortage [11] in America a lot worse. Surveys have found that we could potentially see hundreds of thousands of doctors [12] leave the medical profession because of Obamacare.
#10 Obamacare has already forced the cancellation of dozens [13] of doctor-owned hospitals.
#11 Obamacare is going to result in a much bigger federal government. In order to fully implement all of the provisions of Obamacare, hordes of new government bureaucrats will be required.
#12 Thanks to Obamacare, you are going to have to wait much longer to see a doctor. Just look at what happened once Romneycare was implemented in Massachusetts [14]….
In fact, we have already seen the start of this process in Massachusetts, where Mitt Romney’s health care reforms were nearly identical to President Obama’s. Romney’s reforms increased the demand for health care but did nothing to expand the supply of physicians. In fact, by cracking down on insurance premiums, Massachusetts pushed insurers to reduce their payments to providers, making it less worthwhile for doctors to expand their practices. As a result, the average wait to get an appointment with a doctor grew from 33 days to over 55 days.
#13 Obamacare contains all kinds of insidious little provisions that most people don’t even know about. The following is one example from the Alliance Defense Fund [15]….
“Did you know that with ObamaCare you will have to pay for life-saving drugs, but life-ending drugs are free. One hundred percent free. If this plan were really about health care wouldn’t it be the other way around?”
#14 As if the U.S. government was not facing enough of a crisis with entitlement spending, it is being projected that Obamacare will add 16 million more Americans [16] to the Medicaid rolls. You and I will be paying for all of this.
#15 The Congressional Budget Office estimates that Obamacare will add more than a trillion dollars to government spending over the next decade. Considering the fact that the U.S. government is already drowning in debt [17], how in the world can we afford this?

Engineered Food
In 2007, Senator Obama, campaigning for
the presidency in the Democratic primary, promised to label genetically engineered food.Now, if you write the Obama for America campaign about GMO labels, you get this response:
"Genetically modified crops hold out the promise of benefits like increased production and reduced reliance on pesticides. At the same time, some Americans want more information to help them choose their food. President Obama understands these concerns and is considering additional steps in this area."
What? How can he flip his position like that? What makes him believe Monsanto's lies? Why isn't he listening to the 9 out of 10 voters who want GMOs labeled? Is there anything we can do to get him back on our side before November?

Monsanto's Sneak Attack on Organic and Non-GMO Farmers
Monsanto is using its money and influence
to push Congress to attach a rider to the 2013 Agriculture Appropriations bill
that would effectively end judicial review of approvals of new genetically
engineered crops.If this rider (Sec. 733) isn't removed, organic and non-GMO farmers will lose their access to the court system and they'll have no recourse when the U.S. Department of Agriculture illegally approves new genetically engineered crops that threaten to contaminate their fields and seed supplies.
Monsanto's sneak attack is a response to successful lawsuits brought by the Center for Food Safety on behalf of organic and non-GMO farmers and seed growers that have attempted to block planting of genetically engineered sugar beets and alfalfa while the USDA conducted a court-ordered review of the dangers of contamination.
A vote to remove Monsanto's rider from the Agriculture Appropriations bill was expected this week, but now has been delayed until after Congress returns from their July 4th recess. Let's use this time to spread the word and send tens of thousands of letters to Congress!

Talk radio host Michael Savage told his listeners today that the use of mind-altering drugs to treat seizures could explain why Bush-appointed Chief Justice John Roberts upheld Obamacare today along with four liberal colleagues.
Roberts shocked most analysts by siding with Justices Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor in a 5-4 decision upholding the lynchpin provision of the president’s signature legislation, the so-called individual mandate in the Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act.

Savage told his “Savage Nation” listeners that on the way to the studio for his program tonight he visited a world famous neurologist he knows, and they talked about Obamacare.
The physician urged Savage to check out Roberts’ history with epilepsy, referring him to a New York Times report in August 2007. The article said that after Roberts suffered a seizure, doctors were weighing whether to treat him with powerful drugs with “troubling side effects,” including mental slowing and forgetfulness.
Roberts had suffered a seizure 14 years earlier. The seizures meet the criteria for epilepsy, the Times report said, because they were “unprovoked,” meaning that they were not caused by a head injury, a drug reaction or another known factor.
The neurologist told Savage that Roberts’ cognition could be affected by taking epilepsy medicine.
“I’m going to tell you something that you’re not going to hear anywhere else, that you must pay attention to,” Savage said.
“It’s well known that Roberts, unfortunately for him, has suffered from epileptic seizures. Therefore he has been on medication.”
Savage said that “if you look at Roberts’ writings you can see the cognitive disassociation in what he is saying.”
“Roberts has no logic in what he said,” Savage asserted.
“He said the law is a tax, but if the law wasn’t written as a tax, how can he say it’s taxation?”
Savage was referring to the fact that the Obama administration had argued that the law’s mandate for individuals to buy health insurance was based on the power given to Congress under the Commerce Clause to regulate interstate trade. The administration, including President Obama himself, had vehemently argued that the mandate was not a tax.
Tipping point
Savage noted that while most pundits had believed the Supreme Court would strike down the mandate, Savage predicted on his show Tuesday that Roberts would uphold Obamacare. He based his prediction on the fact that Roberts read the majority opinion in the Arizona immigration law case, which backed the Obama administration in striking down most of the law.
Savage opened his show today declaring that “a tipping point has been reached” in the “dawning of red America.”
“We are now becoming Venezuela and on the way to becoming Castro’s Cuba,” he said.
Many conservatives, he said, have been “misled into believe that if only you elect a Republican, things will change.”
“Let me remind you, Roberts is the spawn of George W. Bush,” Savage said. “Roberts is a compromised Supreme Court justice.”
He predicted Obamacare will bankrupt America.
“Who is going to pay for the fraud, waste and corruption called Obamacare?” he asked.
Savage argued that the same people who are failing to control Medicare and Medicaid are in charge of trying to control Obamacare.
“America is over as you know it,” he said.
A plan to get rid of Obamacare
Citing his book “Trickle Up Poverty,” Savage contended Obamacare could have been overturned by citing the Schechter brothers U.S. Supreme Court case decided during the Franklin Roosevelt administration in 1935.
Under FDR’s socialist-style “New Deal” regulations, customers could buy a whole or half coop of chickens but could not select particular birds. The policy conflicted with the religious beliefs and practices of the Jewish Schechter brothers. Under kosher laws, unhealthy animals must be removed from the stock.
A lower court found the four brothers guilty of allowing their customers to buy individual chickens, and they served jail time.
Ultimately, however, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of the brothers, holding that FDR’s regulations exceeded congressional power under the Commerce Clause.
Justice Louis Brandeis remarked at the time: “This is the end of this business of centralization, and I want you to go back and tell the president that we’re not going to let this government centralize everything.”
Savage said the “same message should be sent to Obama.”
Savage reasoned that the Schechters’ lawyers could have taken another tack and won on the ground that their religious freedom was being violated. Under Obamacare, he noted, there were exemptions for various religious groups, such as the Amish and Christian Scientists.
So he urges other religious groups to find their own grounds for exemption until there are so many exempted from the system, it won’t be able to sustain itself.
