Dear William, After months of public meetings around the state, the Public Service Commission (PSC) hearings regarding Florida Power & Light’s (FPL) request for a $690 million rate increase are coming to an end.  The PSC is expected to make their final decision by November.   As Florida’s largest utility, this rate increase will affect 8 million Floridians.   FPL's original request was for a 16 percent increase in base rates starting in 2013. Then, this month after weeks of public testimony, FPL announced a "settlement" with three of the groups that had been opposing their rate increase. Although FPL has portrayed the settlement as a decrease from their originally requested rate increase, it is actually shifting $50 million a year in increases from major power users to residential consumers. The "settlement" also gives FPL automatic rate increases for three future power plants and increases monthly late fees on residential bills.   All told, the new agreement would give FPL nearly one billion dollars more revenue over four years than their original request.   SEND AN EMAIL VOICING YOUR OPPOSITION TO FPL’S RATE INCREASE HERE!   FPL has a monopoly on its services – they have no competition and have a guaranteed return on investment. Their CFO says a rate increase is necessary “to continue to deliver value to its customers” and a “fair return” to investors. However, shareholders of FPL’s parent company NextEra received a 22% return in 2011, and their profits increased 72% in the first quarter of 2012!   This certainly begs us to ask - why does FPL need a rate increase?   FPL’s President says that the company has a history of tightening its belt, but their rate increase request includes $100 million for salary and benefits increases, and NextEra’s CEO made $14.8 million in 2011! This doesn’t seem like belt-tightening to us.   Governor Scott has said his focus is on leaving money in Florida families' pockets. At this time in Florida's economic recovery, he knows families need every dollar that comes in. When the average consumer is lucky to receive one percent return on their savings, if they even have any savings, why would FPL ask for such an unfounded and outrageous rate increase? It's time for FPL to be good stewards and watch out for their customers, not just their shareholders.   Governor Scott and the members of the PSC need to know that you can’t afford increased utility rates. Danger? by Drake       As reported by Alex Jones on Info Wars:           Dangerous knowledge?         IF the general press knows about this, then so do those who would kill us with the same system.        I understand this is a test, but I also am aware that our government has a history of 'testing' various chemical and biological weapons on the general population.       Are the 'test' systems to be removed after this 'test' or not?       Is it possible that the harmless might be replaced with something dangerous? Thus leaving a residue that could kill those who use this place after the 'test'?       There is no way to offer complete safety for anyone. Very simply, when the person doing this type of attack, is willing to sacrifice themselves, there is almost no defense.       I am posting this as a warning, not to cause fear, but to have everyone start being aware of the fact that several organizations and groups have declared war on ALL of us.       In places where attacks are common, the people are watchful of anything out of place, out of the ordinary. Thursday they had successfully implanted a "world first" bionic eye prototype, describing it as a major breakthrough for the visually impaired.

Bionic Vision Australia (BVA), a government-funded science consortium, said it had surgically installed an "early prototype" robotic eye in a woman with hereditary sight loss caused by degenerative retinitis pigmentosa.

Described as a "pre-bionic eye", the tiny device is attached to Dianne Ashworth's retina and contains 24 electrodes which send electrical impulses to stimulate her eye's nerve cells.

Researchers switched on the device in their laboratory last month after Ashworth had fully recovered from surgery and she said it was an incredible experience.

"I didn't know what to expect, but all of a sudden, I could see a little flash -- it was amazing," she said in a statement.

"Every time there was stimulation there was a different shape that appeared in front of my eye.

Penny Allen, the surgeon who implanted the device, described it as a "world first".

Ashworth's device only works when it is connected inside the lab and BVA chairman David Penington said it would be used to explore how images were "built" by the brain and eye.

Feedback from the device will be fed into a "vision processor" allowingdoctors to determine exactly what Ashworth sees when her retina is subjected to various levels of stimulation.

"The team is looking for consistency of shapes, brightness, size and location of flashes to determine how the brain interprets this information," explained Rob Shepherd, director of the Bionics Institute which was also involved in the breakthrough.

The team is working towards a "wide-view" 98-electrode device that will provide users with the ability to perceive large objects such as buildings and cars, and a "high-acuity" 1,024-electrode device.

Patients with the high-acuity device are expected to be able to recognise faces and read large print, and BVA said it would be suitable for people with retinitis pigmentosa and age-related macular degeneration.

Penington said the early results from Ashworth had "fulfilled our best expectations, giving us confidence that with further development we can achieve useful vision".

"The next big step will be when we commence implants of the full devices," he said.

The dark Ones really thought they had won the day, and the New World order was in their reach. However, they reckoned without your resilience and determination to stand up to them, and in the relatively short period since your present century started, you have exponentially increased the Light on Earth to defeat them. They still make noises and believe that they can still interfere with the plans for Ascension, but the fact is that they are now no more than a minor irritation. They no longer have the power or support to achieve any real measure of success, and are witnessing the demise of their empire.

What we are dealing with now is the system that they set up that still functions. It does for example stand in the way of  Disclosure, but with each day that passes their obstruction is being removed. Once Disclosure becomes officially approved, it will open the floodgates to many other aspects of our ongoing relationship with you. Open contact has to be seen as a separate issue, but will take place before Ascension occurs. The way must be first prepared for such great revelations, because many people are still in denial of our existence let alone ready to receive us. However, the truth must come out as your future is very much  bound up with ours, because we are All One.

Our arrival will not signal any intent to take anything away from you, and it is quite the opposite as we have so much to give you to help you leap into the New Age. That of course is not the end of it as you will then join up with us on an equal basis, and together we will serve others who are needing the type of experience that we can give. Your future will bear little or no similarity to what you have been experiencing, and will be totally different but also very acceptable. We might say that you have not lived yet, because your lives have been served in a false reality. It is one that you were given freewill to create as you wished, but was taken over by the dark forces.

Your freewill will not be taken away from you, and whatever you choose will be your new pathway that will commence after this present cycle ends. In these circumstances, there is no point in trying to persuade others to do differently, as they will not feel comfortable out of their depth. Furthermore, there are no such things as deadlines where your evolution is concerned. You progress at your own pace, and if souls choose to stay in the lower dimensions then quite clearly they are not ready to move on. In all probability they will not need to stay in them for very long, as like you they can call upon their earlier experiences.

Whether the media care to report it or not, we are progressing very steadily and matters are building up for a grand finale. The new financial situation is taking shape and the necessity for great change is being accepted. It cannot therefore be very long before some announcements about it are forthcoming. It will certainly be the beginning of the end of the Illuminati. Without control of the money supply they disjointed and unable to fund their various activities. We are in any event recovering vast sums of money, bonds and valuable metals that will be returned to their rightful owners or placed into a worldwide Redistribution Fund.

Dear Ones we are very busy overseeing our allies activities, and the more we work together the more success we are achieving. After Ascension our relationship with you will become even more personal, and you will quickly become Star Beings as you were eons of time ago. For that reason you will take to it very easily and feel at home with what you will be doing. It will all be very purposeful and aimed at bringing you fully into your new lives. How nice it will be for you to know that everyone you meet will be trustworthy and sincere in their activities. Honesty will be taken for granted, as in the higher dimensions there is no place for anything less.

So hold on for while longer as whatever your problems whether they be physical or otherwise they will be solved. We know that many suffer the physical ills associated with life on Earth, but rest easy in the knowledge that all of them will be put right. There is absolutely nothing that cannot be remedied though our healing methods, and as a Being of energy you will find that sound and colours are very central to them. Crystals are also very much involved and can be used in ways that creates the most powerful energies for transformation and cures. In fact crystals will play a very big part in your lives in future. These concepts are by no means new to you, as many of you were in Atlantis in the periods that they were widely used.

We believe you are beginning to understand why you are so highly thought of, because your levels of consciousness were much higher in the past. The lower vibrations of duality have made it difficult for you recall those times, and it is only recently that you have started to awaken to your true selves. Your potential is unlimited and you will soon find your true place in the scheme of things. When you get to know us you will see yourselves in us, and that is because many of you came from the civilizations that are members of the Galactic Federation of Light. When you meet your own you will know immediately that they relate to you, and what a reunion you will have. Indeed, there will be celebrations when we can openly meet you, because you will realize that we have always been close to each other. It will be the most natural coming together of souls who have worked together for eons of time.

You have so much to look forward to, so do not waste your time or energy worrying what will happen to the dark Ones. You will certainly be informed who has been behind the plans to take over you and your world, and who has been responsible for the atrocities committed throughout your history. Naturally you will be more interested in those that have occurred in your own lifetimes. There will be many shocks as people that you may have respected will be revealed for what they really are. Let the information clear the air of the speculation that surrounds tragedies such as 9/11, but please do not use it to seek revenge against those involved. Leave those matters to the higher authorities who know exactly what to do, so that you know justice will prevail.

SWEET TEA – THE HOUSE WINE OF THE SOUTH Posted on June 4, 2011 by The Southern Lady When life hands you lemons… squeeze them into some sweet iced tea and thank God you were born a southern girl! Southerners love iced tea and drink it by the gallon! We even like it in a Mason jar. It was Dolly Parton in the movie, Steel Magnolias, that called Southern sweet tea, “the house wine of the South”. There was never a truer statement. Talk about the South and sooner or later sweet tea comes to mind. Southerners love this sweet liquid and Southern girls are taught to make it by their Southern mamas. In the South, sweet tea is appropriate for all meals and you start drinking it before you can walk. Sweet tea makes Southerners think of home, tradition, picnics and hot afternoons “sippin” sweet tea while “swayin” in the swing on the front porch. Southern girls know you can’t be considered a serious Southern belle unless you know how to make sweet tea. There are lots of ways to make sweet tea but it has to have sugar. In many cases, the more sugar the better and I prefer to use Luzianne tea. 4 family sized tea bags 1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar 3 quarts water Bring the water to a boil. Remove from stove and add sugar so it will dissolve in the hot water. Add tea bags and let steep about 30 minutes. Pour in enough water and ice to make a gallon of tea. (I like a couple sprigs of mint in my iced tea, too) Some people add a pinch of baking soda. This is supposed to keep the tea from becoming cloudy. Enjoy!

Yesterday my husband and I went to the theater to see this documentary at 1 o'clock on a Monday afternoon. To our amazement it was sold out!
