He can't stir himself to help his own citizens in a disaster, so what DOES NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg do with his ample free time?

Bloomberg has turned  NYC into a Police State laboratory.

If you want to see the dark future of America, you need look no further than  Bloomberg's New York.

Charity begins at home, regardless of the outcome

Charity begins at home, regardless of the outcome

By Armstrong Williams - 12/05/12 07:38 AM ET

Last week the nation was delighted and entertained by the story of the police officer in New York City who bought a pair of boots for a homeless man who had no shoes. It just so happened that a tourist captured on film the moment when the officer happily slipped those warm boots on the feet of the delighted recipient. The story gained the attention of national media and was covered extensively as it was a rare, uncommon phenomenon.

The next day, however, the homeless man hid those boots and remained shoeless.

In a subsequent interview, the officer put everything into perspective when he stated that what he did is repeated numerous times every day across the country by anonymous citizens who care about their fellow human beings. The fact of the matter is for the most part, we are kind and compassionate people. What we don’t see is how often people are kind and good-natured, even when some people do not appreciate what they have at first glance.

But there are many more people out there who still need our help and do not have anyone to care for them. We also need to realize that charity begins at home. Look at the homeless man down the street, or even your elderly neighbors who might need a little extra help shoveling the snow out of the driveway.

Regardless of whom you help and the outcome of the situation, we need to remember how important it is to care for those even if they do not have the means to repay you or do not use the gifts that you bestow on them. Who knows, maybe some day that person will realize how blessed he or she is and turn his or her life around as a result of that one action. The importance of your generosity and sacrifice outweighs what they do with what you give or do for these people, especially when they have little or no means to care for themselves. In fact, that is the reason for the season.

A secret grab for power

A secret grab for power

By Armstrong Williams - 12/04/12 08:50 AM ET

We should turn our attention again to the Middle East, but not necessarily Israel and the Palestinians. We should focus on Egypt, where the people have decided that they will not tolerate a power grab by President Mohamed Morsi disguised as maintaining order.

Morsi is trying to change the fundamental structure of their government and become a dictator for life. We too are experiencing a test to fundamentally change our government and the sad news is that an overwhelming number of Americans are still asleep at the wheel. We have a president who appoints czars in great numbers, who have no responsibility to the other branches of government as our Constitution has mandated. Our president continues to use fancy legal meandering to avert oversight by the other branches of government to exert his will on "We the People.”

In times past our system would not have allowed this because a responsible media would have highlighted it in such a fashion that the protest would be deafening, as we are witnessing now in Egypt. With no responsible media and a power-hungry administration hell-bent on changing the nation, we face a severe challenge in maintaining the American way of life.

Arizona senators don’t know Gov. Jan Brewer’s whereabouts

Arizona senators don’t know Gov. Jan Brewer’s whereabouts

By Jonathan Easley - 12/04/12 03:13 PM ET

Arizona Sens. John McCain (R) and Jon Kyl (R) said Tuesday they have no idea where Gov. Jan Brewer (R-Ariz.) is.

“No, everybody keeps asking me that,” Kyl told The Hill. “I didn’t know she was missing.”

McCain answered similarly.

“Since I wasn’t home last weekend I didn’t know about this,” McCain told The Hill. “Jon [Kyl] just told me that there was some issue that she’s not around.”

On Tuesday, the Associated Press reported that Brewer was taking a week-long out-of-state work trip that’s shrouded in mystery. Her office has refused to disclose her location or the nature of the trip, saying only that she left Sunday, will return Saturday, and visited a wounded Arizona soldier at a Bethesda, Md., hospital on Monday.

Brewer was scheduled to certify ballots at a general election canvass on Monday, but canceled because of the trip.

Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett is acting governor in her absence.

When asked by The Hill if Brewer should disclose her whereabouts, McCain declined to comment.

“I don’t know how long she’s been gone,” he said. “So I can’t comment on that.”

Kyl responded to the same question with a question of his own.

“Where is she?,” he asked. “I don’t know.”

BREAKING NEWS: Spacecraft Enters Sun's Magnetic Field
Connected to Milky Way
by Mitch Battros - Earth Changes Media

The "magnetic highway" is a place in the far reaches of the solar system where the Sun's magnetic field connects to the magnetic field of our galaxy Milky Way. This connection allows charged particles from inside the heliosphere (the magnetic bubble that surrounds the Sun) to zoom out - and it allows charged particles from outside to stream in. When Voyager 1 is in the magnetic highway, onboard particle sensors can directly sample material from beyond our solar system.

Eleven billion miles from Earth, NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft has entered a "magnetic highway" that connects our solar system to interstellar space. This could be one of Voyager 1's last steps on its long journey to the stars.

"Although Voyager 1 is still inside the Sun's environment, we now can taste what it's like on the outside because the particles are zipping in and out on this magnetic highway," said Edward Stone, Voyager project scientist based at the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena. "We believe this is the last leg of our journey to interstellar space. Our best guess is it's likely just a few months to a couple years away. The new region isn't what we expected, but we've come to expect the unexpected from Voyager."

Mitch Battros Research of the Sun - Earth Connection and 2012

Mitch Battros presents fascinating, and sometimes shocking, research from the world's top scientists.
After years of dialogue with these experts, Mitch has been accepted into the guarded halls of NASA, NOAA, ESA, Royal Observatory, the US Naval Observatory and other highly esteemed scientific bodies.

In addition to the latest research on the Sun's influence on our "weather" - Mitch also presents ground-breaking evidence of how the Sun and other celestial orbs produce 'charged particles' and their impact on humanity.

Just as the Sun's solar activity affects the Earth's magnetic field which has a dramatic affect on Earth's "weather"
i.e. earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, hurricanes; so does this wave of electrical currents affect the human body's magnetic field. Mitch also reveals a little-known development from modern medicine known as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). TMS provides empirical evidence of how magnetic fields can influence human emotions.

Solar Cycle 24 has begun - and it has been predicted by NASA, NOAA and ESA to be up to 50% stronger than its 'record breaking' predecessor Cycle 23 which produced the largest solar flare ever recorded. The Sun will reach its 'apex' (maximum) in late 2012 into 2013.

"I believe it will be the magnetic influence
produced by the Sun which will usher in what is described by our ancient ancestors as "the transition" bringing the Earth and us to a new state-of-being". (Mitch Battros)
