Why does the US government need 30,000 Guillotines and over 600 Million rounds of hollow point bullets?

Why does the US government need 30,000 Guillotines and over 600 Million rounds of hollow point bullets?

There are over 800 prison camps in the United States. All fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards. But they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general's signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. Ask yourself if you really want to be on THE list.

The Rex 84 Program was established on the reasoning that if a "mass exodus" of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA. Rex 84 allowed many military bases to be closed down and to be turned into prisons. Operation Cable Splicer and Garden Plot are the two sub programs which will be implemented once the Rex 84 program is initiated for its proper purpose. Garden Plot is the program to control the population. Cable Splicer is the program for an orderly takeover of the state and local governments by the federal government. FEMA is the executive arm of the coming police state and thus will head up all operations. The Presidential Executive Orders already listed on the Federal Register also are part of the legal framework for this operation.

The camps all have railroad facilities as well as roads leading to and from the detention facilities. Many also have an airport nearby. The majority of the camps can house a population of 20,000 prisoners. Currently, the largest of these facilities is just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. The Alaskan facility is a massive mental health facility and can hold approximately 2 million people. Now let's review the justification for any actions taken. Executive Orders associated with FEMA that would suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These Executive Orders have been on record for nearly 30 years and could be enacted by the stroke of a Presidential pen:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to seize all means of transportation, including personal cars, trucks or vehicles of any kind and total control over all highways, seaports, and waterways.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 10999 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005 allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051 specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310 grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has broad powers in every aspect of the nation. General Frank Salzedo, chief of FEMA's Civil Security Division stated in a 1983 conference that he saw FEMA's role as a "new frontier in the protection of individual and governmental leaders from assassination, and of civil and military installations from sabotage and/or attack, as well as prevention of dissident groups from gaining access to U.S. opinion, or a global audience in times of crisis." FEMA's powers were consolidated by President Carter to incorporate the National Security Act of 1947 allows for the strategic relocation of industries, services, government and other essential economic activities, and to rationalize the requirements for manpower, resources and production facilities. 1950 Defense Production Act gives the President sweeping powers over all aspects of the economy. Act of August 29, 1916 authorizes the Secretary of the Army, in time of war, to take possession of any transportation system for transporting troops, material, or any other purpose related to the emergency. International Emergency Economic Powers Act enables the President to seize the property of a foreign country or national. These powers were transferred to FEMA in a sweeping consolidation in 1979.
OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES
There are many other locations not listed above that are worthy of consideration as a possible detention camp site, but due to space limitations and the time needed to verify, could not be included here. Virtually all military reservations, posts, bases, stations, & depots can be considered highly suspect (because it is "federal" land). Also fitting this category are "Regional Airports" and "International Airports" which also fall under federal jurisdiction and have limited-access areas. Mental hospitals, closed hospitals & nursing homes, closed military bases, wildlife refuges, state prisons, toxic waste dumps, hotels and other areas all have varying degrees of potential for being a detention camp area. The likelihood of a site being suspect increases with transportation access to the site, including airports/airstrips, railheads, navigable waterways & ports, interstate and US highways. Some facilities are "disguised" as industrial or commercial properties, camouflaged or even wholly contained inside large buildings (Indianapolis) or factories. Many inner-city buildings left vacant during the de-industrialization of America have been quietly acquired and held, sometimes retrofitted for their new uses.
CANADA
Our Canadian friends tell us that virtually all Canadian military bases, especially those north of the 50th Parallel, are all set up with concentration camps. Not even half of these can be listed, but here are a few sites with the massive land space to handle any population:
Suffield CFB - just north of Medicine Hat, less than 60 miles from the USA.
Primrose Lake Air Range - 70 miles northeast of Edmonton.
Wainwright CFB - halfway between Medicine Hat and Primrose Lake.
Ft. Nelson - Northernmost point on the BC Railway line.
There are other sites around the country, and they are literally popping up overnight. What is going to be the kick-off point to put these facilities into operation? A man-made or natural catastrophe? A major terrorist attack? An earthquake? A catastrophic financial collapse that would cause a panic of such dimensions to cause nationwide panic? Once a major disaster occurs (whether it is a real event or manufactured event does not matter) Martial Law is hurriedly put in place and we are all in the hands of the government agencies (FEMA) who thus portray themselves as our protectors. Yet what happens when we question those in authority and how they are taking away all of our freedoms? Will we be the ones detained in these camp sites? And who are they going to round up? Those with guns? Those who ask questions? Those that want to know what's REALLY going on?
When first coming across this information, many go into a state of total denial. "How could this be? I believed our country was free, and always felt a sense of comfort in knowing that as long as we didn't hurt others in observing our freedom, we were left to ourselves." Ideally, that would be true. But the forces running this government are far from ideal. The time is fast approaching when we will be the ones asking "What happened to our freedom? To our free speech? To our right to protect ourselves and our family? To think as an individual? To express ourselves in whatever way we wish?"
Once we challenge that freedom we find out how free we really are. How many are willing to take up that challenge? Very few indeed, otherwise we wouldn't find ourselves in the situation that we are in at the present time. We wouldn't have let things progress and get out of the hands of the public and into the hands of those that seek to keep us under their control no matter what it takes, and that includes the use of force and detainment for those that ask the wrong questions. Will asking questions be outlawed next? Several instances have recently been reported where those that were asking questions that came too near the untold truth (the cover up) were removed from press conferences and from the public's ear. Also, those that wanted to speak to the press were detained and either imprisoned, locked in a psychiatric hospital, slaughtered (through make-believe suicides) or discredited.
Obviously those in NAZI Germany who were rounded up and killed didn't believe it could happen to them. How could decent people have witnessed such atrocities and still said nothing? Are we going to do the same thing here as they cart off one by one those individuals who are taking a stand for the rights of the citizens as they expose the truth happening behind the scenes? Or are we just going to sit there and wonder what happened to this country, until it's too late?
“Should Republicans Give into President Obama's Demands and Raise Taxes to avoid the sequester cuts?”
Mike Huckabee
Last week, we polled Americans in all 50 states and asked: “Should Republicans Give into President Obama's Demands and Raise Taxes to avoid the sequester cuts?”
Incredibly, over 23,000 people voted during a 72 hour period and 99.6% of them voted one way: against compromise with President Obama. In all my years in politics I have never seen as one-sided a result as that.
I think Speaker Boehner needs to know that and I think he needs to know that we only just scratched the surface with our 23,000+ votes.
That’s why we created this petition. We wanted to catch his eye, with something amazing that was driven from the ground up, something that would inspire the Speaker and Republicans to hold the line on raising taxes. Think about it, what if 100,000 Americans signed our Petition in one day? What if 1,000,000 Americans signed our petition by Friday (the day the cuts take effect)?
Selamat Balik! We come today with some very interesting news! The dark continues in tunnel-vision mode to try desperately to come up with some way to delay what they know is inevitable. Heaven is waiting for the last celestial sign to appear, and once this phenomenon has occurred, we will be expected to act swiftly and sweep the dark's minions into a place where they can do no more harm. This leaves us with a narrow timeframe before this happens, and so we are double-checking with our diverse allies to make sure that what is shortly to occur is all ready to go as quickly as possible. Our liaison personnel are carrying out a very short checklist and are confirming that all groups are fully prepared. In fact, most of them wish that this date were to arrive sooner than later, but despite this frustration the various groups within your major governments are showing great patience with what to them has been a very lengthy wait. Our ships are daily picking up on the dark's increasingly desperate global mischief making, and so we are busy doing remedial work to counter the damage that these misdeeds are designed to effect.
Meanwhile, our Agarthan family is also busy with the daily adjustments needed to update your numerous Light chambers. Our goal is to be ready at a moment's notice to transfer you to your Light-chamber residences in Agartha as soon as Heaven gives us the green light. Until that moment, several preparatory activities are to be carried out by your new governance. These include a startling series of announcements, followed by the instituting of policies that will shake up thoroughly the way your world is run. Most importantly, you will receive a formal proclamation of disclosure which will allow us to begin a series of messages preparing you for our first-contact landings. These are the last few quiet moments on your world before the exciting times begin, because the process of transforming your world, which includes ending a decades-long 'UFO' cover-up, will truly rattle your present reality. Presently, Heaven is setting up the last leg of your journey to full consciousness which will require the services of a personal mentor for each one of you. This is someone you can fully trust to educate you in the myriad truths that run counter to what you have been told since early childhood.
A vital part of your graduation into spiritual adulthood is to understand clearly how the Anunnaki and their well-trained minions deceived you for millennia. They used your then-new state of mortality to create a suffocating web of fear to keep you controlled and pliable. This pliability allowed them to basically run rampant over you and twist your world in any way they pleased. This dark construct is now to end, and in its place you will be able for the first time in 13 millennia to create a world that greatly pleases you. But remember that it is to be only a transitional realm, during which time you will be fully informed about what to expect and how to adapt to full consciousness. It is a huge step! As this interim realm takes shape, you will also take on many responsibilities. These you will also need to be prepared for, as they will rapidly move you into an enlightened way of living which will allow you to experience the true nature of your being and to get a clearer understanding of where you are headed. The mindless meanderings of limited consciousness are to come to a most pleasing conclusion!
This rise into a more uplifted way of life is what the next short period is all about. Also, this improved milieu will be more conducive to absorbing what we have to teach you. Your Ascended Masters are to begin a series of teachings elucidating the very nature of the Soul and how it blossoms when exposed to Light. Our contribution will be to explain to you about full consciousness as you need to be very clear about what lies ahead for you. Becoming a fully conscious Being is a delight that is beyond anything you can imagine at present. Together, the Ascended Masters and we will prepare you for this new life; the Light chambers are just the finishing touch. You are a spiritually oriented being, and we need to integrate your physical with your emotional and mental parts, and that is what these chambers do. Each of you requires unique adjustments of a very complex nature. This task will be a joint effort, and then you are to come under the guidance of your Ascended Masters who have been appointed by Heaven to lead you in your first series of missions to bring a permanent peace to this galaxy.
Blessings! We return with Good News! The great event in the Heavens approaches. This phenomenon is very special and its arrival constitutes the start of a new day for all on this most divine orb. When this event has run its course, you are to be free of the stifling miasmas of the dark. You will have new governance, prosperity, and most importantly, your freedom. Your new governance will make a series of announcements that are to change your world, and it is then that we can begin our new service to humanity. The new reality birthed on that day will accelerate a transformation that is to reintroduce sacredness to your lives, permitting you to witness a time of miracles and wonder. It is when Angels will reappear and the voice of Creation will be heard again throughout the land. And it is when you, at long last, emerge from your long amnesia and remember who and what you truly are.
One aspect of our new service is to teach you about the divine nature of physicality and allow you to remember all the special knowledge that you forgot when you were moved from full to limited consciousness. Your gracious return to your natural state will be celebrated throughout Heaven and will fulfill a prophecy made eons ago by blessed Archangel Michael. This stated that a time of darkness was to befall this realm, from which spiritual prison you would be freed some 13,000 years later by the great works of Heaven. This time is now! It is the moment for liberation and joy! The dark and its minions are to be swept away and a new day is to dawn upon Earth. Rejoice, my Sisters and Brothers! Shortly, the great horn of deliverance shall sound; Heaven's Light shall shine forth, and time for true wonder shall begin!
Your deliverance marks the beginning of new service for all. We have much to teach you and you have much to learn. Breaking out of this long sojourn through amnesia may mean some amount of distress for many of you, as full realization of what you have believed, and what you have done in the name of these beliefs, is likely to cause some anguish. Consequently, we the Ascended Masters are to take up a great wave of forgiveness and grace, and sweep it across all the lands of Earth and into the corners of all hearts that suffer. Draw this healing Light into you and allow it to reconcile the horrors foisted on you by the dark. Then from your heart's heart let it go with Love. Allow a new Light of joy and oneness to envelop you all, as in this miracle comes the sacred way to tread the final steps of your journey back to the wonder that is full consciousness. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Today we continued our weekly messages to you. We have reached a special point where great miracles can finally take place. We come to a pivotal stage of this long journey that began for us then we were instructed to prepare for a mass first contact. Now comes the joy of actually coming forth and walking together to your sacred destinations! Know, dear Ones, that the countless Supply and never-ending Prosperity of Heaven are indeed Yours! So Be It! Selamat Gajun! Selamat Ja! (Sirian for Be One! and Be in Joy!)
14 Year Old on Gun Control
"IN GOD WE TRUST!"
CAN WE MAKE HER PRESIDENT ??
Here's the story... My 14 year old daughter, Daphne, and I went to a gun rally at the NH Capitol in Concord on Saturday, Jan 19, 2013.  I don't even own a gun, but I'm a strong believer in the Constitution and the wisdom of our Founders especially when it comes to government taking away our freedoms, and I don't like the direction Obama is taking the country on that issue.  You know, America, land of the free, and all the core strengths that made America great.
I made up a bunch of signs and Daphne prepared a letter before the rally, thinking she might hand it out to anyone who was interested.  While attending the rally, Daphne noticed that the speaker had stopped talking and that he was handing the bullhorn to anyone who wanted to speak.  She pointed that out to me, and soon she went over to the Capitol steps, got in line, and waited for her turn.  After fighting her way to the front of the line, she stood there, on the steps of the NH State Capitol, and read a shorter version of the letter below. She brought the house down.
After the cheers had died down, dozens of people shook her hand and congratulated her.  A couple of reporters interviewed her briefly and other photographers took her picture.  Just before she left, a representative from the New Hampshire Assembly talked to her and asked if she could come and speak at a hearing on gun control on Tuesday, Jan 22, 2013.  Daphne said, Sure. On Tuesday, we picked her up from school at 12:00 noon and drove to Concord.
We found our way to the Legislative Assembly Hall, Room 204.  The room was packed and there was a line down the hall and around two corners.  Soon, they moved the meeting to another room.  The second room also proved too small.  Finally, they sent us across the street, up to the large chamber in the Capitol Building. The room was near capacity.  About ninety-five percent of the people were pro 2nd Amendment rights.
The Representatives and PACs got to speak first, then the common folk.  Daphne was in the first 10 folks to speak who were not representing a group.  She was poised, though a little nervous, and spoke clearly to the crowd. When she was done, she brought a copy of her speech to the front of the chamber where the representatives were sitting, and they fought over who would get to take it from her.  The moderator had previously silenced the hall from cheering or clapping, but people told her they would have cheered if they could as they shook her hand on the way out.  The whole proceeding took more than 3 hours.
TRANSCRIPT: Delivered to the New Hampshire Legislative Assembly January 22, 2013
Dear citizens of New Hampshire,
Four days ago, I was across the street for a gun rally on the steps of the Capitol.  I had never been to a gun rally before.  I expected it to be all about hunters and guns.  I was surprised:  People were not afraid of not being able to hunt.  They were not afraid of criminals at all.  Do you know who they were afraid of ?  The Federal Government.  I was shocked. They were afraid of the government taking away their freedoms.
The reason I went to the rally in the first place was that I heard children, like me, talking with President Obama about guns on the radio.  I think those kids were far too young to make policy, and got it all wrong. Naturally, I don't want my mom or dad to die either, nor my friends or family.  But I learned in school that the First Amendment gives us our Basic Freedoms, like Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion and Freedom to Assemble.
To protect our God-given rights, our Founders gave us the 2nd Amendment: The Right to Bear Arms. My Civics teacher taught us that the reason our Founding Fathers gave us the right to bear arms is to protect ourselves from the government of man because when man is given absolute power, he becomes absolutely corrupt.  In 1776, guns freed us from the abuses of King George.
Today, guns keep us free from tyranny by government.  If President Obama wants to take our guns, isn't he taking away our means to protect our right to freedom ?  Wasn't the 2nd Amendment given to us to protect our 1st Amendment rights ?  It's not by chance that those are the first two amendments.  They were the two most important gifts our Founders gave the American people.  I don't know.  I'm just a 14 year old girl, and that's what I thought I learned in school.  Did Mr. Obama learn something different in school than that ? I think it is terrible for someone to use a national tragedy for political gain, don't you ?  So, when I heard Mr. Obama issued 23 gun control orders in the wake of the Newtown tragedy, I was upset. In school I was taught executive means to execute laws -- not make them. When did that change ?  Didn't the president swear an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution ?  Doesn't the 2nd Amendment state: "the right for people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." ˇ Tell me how 23 orders on gun control is not an infringement.  Can someone please tell me that ?  Has King George returned ? I hope New Hampshire members of congress remember their pledge and do not use this tragedy to create unjust laws.
  So I ask myself, what gun would our Founders want their citizen militia to have today to protect us from a government greedy for power.  I think Thomas Jefferson would recommend a semi-automatic rifle with 50-round clips, and pistols that hold 20.  But, I'm sure George Washington would demand these arms.  Just so you know, I don't even own a gun, nor does my mom, or dad.  But when I'm old enough, I want the right to buy a gun if I want to, so I can protect the America that I love.  I hope I never need one, but I always say, "plan for the worst and hope for the best".
Unfortunately, that's sort of why the government is taking away our guns: they are planning for the worst Americans, and not thinking of the best.  Maybe the question we should be asking is what caused the morality of the United States to decay ? Are parents no longer teaching their kids "thou shalt not kill ?" I want to live in an America with laws that protect the best people on Earth, not the worst, don't you ?  Wouldn't that be more free ?  Wouldn't that be more American ?  Isn't freedom what America is all about ?  The right to bear arms is our best guarantee to live free.
Finally, at my track meet at UNH on Sunday, I read the banner on the wall.  It said three words: Tradition. Pride. Excellence.  I hope and pray that New Hampshire will continue its tradition of excellence and lead the way for the rest of the county, and never infringe on my rights.  May the people of the great state of New Hampshire carry on their long tradition of freedom, so we can proclaim with pride the words our forefathers gave us:  Live Free or Die ! This is our United States.  This is our New Hampshire.  And that should never change.  Live Free or Die, New Hampshire !
Thank you,  Daphne Jordan,  Nottingham, NH
A New Global Economy for a New Generation
By Christine Lagarde
Managing Director, International Monetary Fund
Davos, Switzerland, January 24, 2013
Good evening. Let me begin by thanking my dear friend Klaus Schwab for the singular honor of addressing all of you.I know we are all still deeply concerned with the state of the global economy. Where do we stand? Well, thanks to policy actions taken over the past year, we have seen some respite and some stabilization in financial conditions.But it is not all good news. The recovery is still weak, and uncertainty is still high. As the IMF announced just a few hours ago in our World Economic Outlook, we expect global growth of only 3½ percent this year, not much higher than last year. The short-term pressures might have alleviated, but the longer-term pressures are still with us.As I have said recently and it bears repeating: we have avoided collapse, but we need to guard against any relapse. 2013 will be a make-or-break year.We all know the imperative—keep up the momentum on the policy actions needed to put uncertainty to rest.What does that mean? For the Euro Area, it means making firewalls operational; pushing ahead with banking union; continuing with the difficult but necessary fiscal adjustment at the country level; and supporting demand, especially with further monetary easing.For the United States, it means pulling together in the national interest and avoiding further avoidable policy mistakes, such as failing to agree on increasing the debt ceiling—and, for the United States and Japan, reaching agreement on medium-term debt reduction.For the emerging and developing economies, faring better despite their concerns about continued turmoil and lack of decisive action in the advanced economies, conditions differ greatly. Some are more vulnerable than others, but they need to rebuild the policy space that has been used up in alleviating the crisis in recent times.So these are the short-term priorities as I see them.The broader viewBut here in Davos I would like to take a somewhat broader view—looking to the longer horizon, to the new global economy taking shape before our eyes.Over the past few months, I have visited all of the major emerging regions of the world—Africa, Asia, the Middle-East, and Latin America. And I must say, the world looks very different from their vantage point. It is a world of challenges, yes, but it is also a world of “resilient dynamism”.The burning question is this: how we can make sure that all regions grow strongly, converge rapidly, and succeed in meeting the aspirations of their people?To answer this question, we need to reflect upon some of the megatrends shaping the future. Many thought leaders are pondering this issue, including here at the World Economic Forum. I would submit the following four pivot points:
  • First, a growing demand for individual empowerment, including for women, and a growing sense of a single global community.
  • Second, a reallocation of political and economic power across the world. By 2025, for example, two-thirds of the world’s population will live in Asia. This can lead to greater cooperation or to greater tension and competition.
  • Third, a seismic shift in demographics, as the “youth bulge” in various emerging regions rubs up against the “graying” populations elsewhere. Sixty percent of the population in the Middle East and North Africa is under 30. It is 70 percent for sub-Saharan Africa. Again, either a great opportunity or a source of instability.
  • Fourth, increasing vulnerability from resource scarcity and climate change, with the potential for major social and economic disruption. This is the real wild card in the pack.
So how can we successfully navigate our way into this future world? There are no easy answers. So where to begin? I think it starts with the new generation on the march—in a world that is flatter, more closely-knit, more interconnected than ever before in history.This new generation thinks differently. It is a generation weaned on immediacy, democracy, and global reach of social media. Consider the scale: Facebook and Twitter have about one billion and 500 million users respectively. If they were countries, they would be the 3rd and 4th largest nations in the world!Perhaps we can lay the groundwork for future success by embracing some of the emerging values of this new generation. Let me touch on three of these in particular: (1) greater openness; (2) stronger inclusion; (3) better accountability.1. Greater OpennessLet me begin with openness. This generation is a global generation and an open generation. Open to the world, and to the idea of a common global community.In a sense, this is really an old lesson for a new era—that when countries transcend the narrow national interest and come together for the global good, everybody wins. This was the reason the IMF was founded in 1944—and it remains our guiding principle.Look at Asia, for example. This is a region that has made tremendous progress in trade integration—trade within Asia tripled over the past decade, and regional trade among emerging Asian nations grew even faster. But it has lagged behind in financial integration. It is not investing enough of its own savings in its own future.And yet, the advantages of financial integration in Asia are clear. It can lift people up by boosting domestic demand and helping small firms get access to credit. It can make economies safer, by providing more insurance against adverse developments. It can reduce inequality, by helping financial inclusion.Other regions too can benefit from more integration, including the Middle East and Africa. These regions will gain from opening up—knocking down barriers to trade and welcoming investment. In this way, they can set in train a virtuous circle of higher productivity, enhanced economic diversity, and greater resilience against external turmoil.Take the Maghreb, for example. On its own, each country in the region is small. But together, they form a vibrant market of 90 million people, offering limitless possibilities.Possibly the greatest integration of all comes from Europe. If you look behind the daily headlines related to the Eurozone crisis, you see a region in the midst of a historic process of integration. It is really the culmination of a centuries-long search for peace and prosperity, with the understanding that by linking arms you are unlocking swords—and also unlocking a million avenues for mutual gain.Yes, the European economy faces serious issues that need to be addressed—deeper banking and fiscal union, for example. But destiny beckons through the smoke and the fog. And I, for one, am optimistic about Europe’s future, especially if it stays on the path of reform, integration, and renewal.2. Stronger inclusionLet me turn to what I see as the second major aspiration of the new generation and the new global economy: stronger inclusion. Our close-knit world is a participatory world. The new generation demands opportunities for all and insists on tolerance, respect, and fairness for all.Just look at some recent examples—from the yearnings on the Arab Street for greater dignity and opportunity, to the brave cry of young women for education and equality, and to the heartfelt urge of Indian women for greater respect and justice. These demands must be met.What does it mean for economic policymakers? It means that we need more fairness in economic life, more inclusion. This has numerous dimensions.At its core, it relates to growth. Surely we have all learned by now that it is no longer enough to focus on growth alone. We need all people to share in rising prosperity—and, by the same token, share fairly in any economic adjustment needed to achieve or restore prosperity.As Franklin Roosevelt once said: “The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.”Inclusive growth is certainly a top concern of policymakers. The message is resonating widely.I was not surprised, therefore, to see that the World Economic Forum’s most recent survey puts “severe income disparity” at the very top of global risks over the next decade. Excessive inequality is corrosive to growth; it is corrosive to society.I believe that the economics profession and the policy community have downplayed inequality for too long. Now all of us—including the IMF—have a better understanding that a more equal distribution of income allows for more economic stability, more sustained economic growth, and healthier societies with stronger bonds of cohesion and trust. The research reaffirms this finding.Above all, inclusive growth must also be job-rich growth. This is really a symbiotic relationship—we need growth for jobs and jobs for growth. Right now, 202 million people are looking for work, and two in five of the jobless are under 24. Relieving this sense of desperation must be the over-riding goal of everything we do.Inclusion has other dimensions too.Gender inclusion is critically important, and, frankly, too often neglected by policymakers. In today’s world, it is no longer acceptable to block women from achieving their potential. Think about it: women control 70 percent of global consumer spending.All studies point to the economic benefits of full female participation in the labor force, in the economy, in society. One recent study estimates that by simply raising women’s employment rates to the level of men, GDP would jump significantly—by 5 percent in the United States, 9 percent in Japan, 10 percent in South Africa, 27 percent in India, and 34 percent in Egypt.The evidence is clear, as is the message: when women do better, economies do better. So policymakers and economic leaders must do better in supporting women. That means we must tear down all obstacles in the path of women, even the subconscious obstacles of the mind.One other point on inclusion: we need a greater sense of solidarity across generations. We need to be cognizant of the legacy we are leaving for those who will come after us. One such legacy is public debt, which now hovers around 110 percent of GDP among the advanced economies—the highest level since World War II. We owe it to the next generation to put in place credible plans to reduce this burden on them.So we need growth, but we also need green growth that respects environmental sustainability. Good ecology is good economics. This is one reason why getting carbon pricing right and removing fossil fuel subsidies are so important. This too is an element of inclusion.3. Better accountabilityLet me turn to my third and last principle for the new global economy: better accountability. The new generation demands transparency. They demand good governance. We must deliver.Just look at the role of information technology in forcing change. It was the citizen power of social media that sparked a peoples’ transformation in the Middle East, put pressure on U.S. policymakers to compromise on the fiscal cliff, and prompted Chinese policymakers to publish frequent updates of pollution levels.These forces for greater accountability will only get stronger. Of course, governments can try to push back and restrict access to information technology. But this is like King Canute ordering the tide not to come in!Accountability is really a two-way street—institutions must be accountable to citizens, but citizens must also have the knowledge, education, and training needed to hold them accountable. It is mutual responsibility.What does this all mean for economic life—in the public sector, the private sector, and international institutions too?Beginning with the public sector, we have learned that good governance is the bedrock of economic success. Without strong institutions, good policies cannot be developed and implemented.Zero tolerance for corruption must be foundational. The state must be the servant rather than the master of the people—meeting their basic needs and providing an enabling environment for the private sector to thrive.But the private sector also needs to be accountable. The goal of the private sector cannot be only profit; it must also be to add value, create jobs, develop the new ideas that drive an economy forward. Vested interests and arbitrage typically hinder the accountability principle.One has in mind the financial sector, which turned out to be insufficiently accountable—to its clients, its shareholders, and to society in general. As we all know, the global economic crisis was, in many respects, a governance crisis originating in the financial sector. It hid too much activity in murky and dark corners, and put its own short-term gain ahead of supporting the real economy.As Plato said long ago, “Excess generally causes reaction, and produces a change in the opposite direction.”Frankly, we need to see more of that change in 2013. Finishing the job of financial sector reform must be a priority. We can already see too many signs of waning commitment—dilution of reforms, delays in implementation, inconsistency of approaches. And we can see the risks—a further weakening in capital and liquidity standards; and not enough progress on key areas like cross-border resolution, shadow banking, and derivatives. We must also move in the direction of more prudent compensation practices.Ultimately, again, this is all about accountability: we need a financial sector that is accountable to the real economy—one that adds value, not destroys it.One final point on accountability: it also relates to international financial institutions like the IMF. We too must respond to the new imperative for greater accountability.And so we are trying to become more open and transparent, reaching out to all stakeholders. Recognizing the profound changes in the global economy, we are pushing ahead with our governance reforms so that all countries have a fair stake in the running of the institution.For at the end of the day, our job too is service: for our 188 member countries. We must be accountable to them—but even more than that, to the citizens of those countries who now hold us, rightly, to a new standard of effectiveness.Conclusion: A New Moment in HistoryLet me conclude. I believe that if we continue to act, 2013 will be a defining year in terms of finally getting beyond the crisis. But more than that, I believe we are standing in the antechamber of a new global economy, marked by rapidly shifting circumstances and new modes of thinking.Yes, this new economy will be geographically different, driven more by the dynamic emerging markets and developing countries. But it will also be generationally different, shaped by different values and principles.What we need today is a “new moment in history” that embraces the values of a new era—more openness and cooperation between nations, more inclusion and solidarity among peoples, and stronger accountability of those responsible for the global economy. That includes many of the people here in this room.In the final analysis, there are no easy answers to the big burning questions like the sources of future growth and the harnessing of technology to benefit the entire planet. But we can at least say that, together, we are grappling with the right issues—with our intelligence, goodwill, and courage.Let me assure you that the IMF will always be ready to help in whatever way we can.Thank you.
Mayor of London Reveals MI5 Spies Recruit & Film VIP Paedophiles Raping Kids For Political Blackmail
I've known for some time of the allegations that Congress and Parliament is run by blackmailed politicians caught on film doing depraved sexual acts with children and whatever takes their fancy. This explains why politicians seem to be comfortable allowing places like Israel to bomb innocent civilians in Gaza and indeed Kay Griggs says exactly this in her testimony against her husband who was the Marine Corps Chief of Staff. Zionism and the unwavering support for Israel is at the heart of international political sexual blackmail.
The challenge with communicating the issue to time starved celebrity obsessed people is that it is more War & Peace than a corporately controlled newspaper headline. Most people don't have a hundred hours or so to look into how MI5 and the CIA recruit future politicians who are then encouraged to be in situations where they can subsequently be blackmailed.
Naturally this depraved mileiu is well represented in the mainstream (for-profit news) media by people like David Aaronovitch who is a repeated defender of both paedophiles and Zionism over at least a decade or so. It's natural to assume there must be something in it for him to be so comfortable with the obnoxious, the disgusting and the depraved. The alternative is he just feels at home with these issues.
The recording is only 30 seconds. Listen and wise up to why the planet is so dysfunctional. Cause and effect. Cause and effect. Cause and effect. It's science.
Absolute MUST Listen!
Let Them Eat Cake? Government Destroys 1,600 Pounds of Deer Meat for Homeless Just Because
Hunters and homeless people in Louisiana are righteously outraged after state health officials forced a homeless shelter to throw out nearly a ton of perfectly good venison.
The meat that had been donated to the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission could have fed more than 3,000 people. Instead, it was tossed in trash bins by officials from the Department of Health and Hospitals who say that state law prohibits the serving of venison in homeless shelters.
Not only did the officials toss the meat, they doused it with Clorox to make sure it couldn’t be eaten by animals or, presumably, people.
“Deer meat is not permitted to be served in a shelter, restaurant or any other public eating establishment in Louisiana,” an official told Fox News in an email. “While we applaud the good intentions of the hunters who donated this meat, we must protect the people who eat at the Rescue Mission, and we cannot allow a potentially serious health threat to endanger the public.”
Richard Campbell, co-founder of Hunters for the Hungry, a charitable group that donates wild game to shelters, said hunters across the state and in Mississippi are outraged about the statement and the waste.
The state’s health Gestapo got involved after someone at the shelter complained about being fed deer meat, a staple in many countries across the globe and considered by most people to be a treat or a delicacy.
I don’t know what’s wrong with Louisiana, but in California, turning down venison would be like turning down a lobster tail with drawn butter — it’s something that sane people who aren’t vegetarians just wouldn’t do.
The director of the mission said they’ve been serving venison for years. The shelter, by the way, doesn’t take any government money. It’s completely self-sufficient thanks to its donors.
“This was really good meat,” said the Rev. Henry Martin. “It’s high in protein and low in cholesterol. It’s very healthy. … You would think we would have due process. But they meant to destroy the meat – that’s for sure.”
Louisiana hunters participating in the state’s deer management programs are allowed to keep as much meat as they can handle.
Martin’s mission asks hunters to donate the rest. The donated meat is processed at a local meat plant.
State Rep. Jeff Thompson called the destruction of the meat “insulting,” and he’s right.
Only a truly callous bureaucracy could dare pretend to care about the homeless then turn around and destroy food intended for the needy, for no real reason other than “because” that’s what the rules say.
I’m sure you recognize the excuse — used to justify evil deeds, from the treatment of slaves to the rounding up of Native Americans to the Holocaust. You hear it from bureaucrats at all levels, from bus drivers to presidents. It’s an expression of contempt for the rights and needs of the common man.
In the case of the meat destruction, it’s also an illegal taking of property for which the mission needs to be compensated.
An apology is the least that the state should be doling out for this Kafkaesque assault on the homeless and on common sense.
