Lyon was quoted by the Slovak main news website as saying that the mainstream US media outlets intentionally work to create a propaganda against Iran to garner public opinion's support for a military invasion against it. She revealed that the scenario used before launching the war on Iraq is being prepared to be repeated where Iran and Syria are now being subject to constant 'demonization'.

There were conflicting reports on the death toll from the air strike. A Reuters reporter saw the bodies of two children. One was in school uniform. 1,400 people evacuated from Eiffel Tower after anonymous bomb threat 30 Mar 2013 The Eiffel Tower was evacuated Saturday night after an anonymous caller phoned in a bomb threat, police said. Nearly 1,400 people were sent away from the tourist attraction following a request from tower operators after the warning, a Paris police official said. Police then searched the monument with sniffer dogs, and set up a security perimeter. No explosives were found and the site was to be reopened, the official said on condition of anonymity because she wasn't authorized to speak publicly.

Colorado prosecutors shun James Holmes's guilty plea offer 28 Mar 2013 Prosecutors said Thursday they are not ready to accept an offer from Colorado theater shooting suspect James E. Holmes to plead guilty in exchange for avoiding the death penalty. In a court filing, prosecutors criticized defense attorneys for publicizing Holmes's offer to plead guilty, calling it a ploy meant to draw the public and the judge into what should be private plea negotiations. They say the defense has "steadfastly and repeatedly" refused to provide key details they need to consider a plea.

Texas district attorney, wife found dead after prosecutor killed 31 Mar 2013 A Texas district attorney and his wife were shot dead in the same county where an assistant prosecutor was gunned down outside a courthouse in January, the sheriff of Kaufman County, said on Sunday. Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong said Klan members will be fenced off from the anticipated crowd of anti-Klan protesters and will be bused to and from the rally site in front of the Shelby County courthouse in downtown Memphis on Saturday. Crude oil leaks in Arkansas suburb after ExxonMobil pipeline ruptures 31 Mar 2013 An ExxonMobil pipeline rupture near Little Rock, Ark., Friday evening has resulted in a "major oil spill," according to the Environmental Protection Agency -- and ignited further debate over the [insane] transportation of crude oil in the U.S. Up to 10,000 barrels sprang from the pipeline, according to an incident report filed to the National Response Center by ExxonMobil early Saturday morning. Twenty-two residents were evacuated from their homes, according to a statement on the ExxonMobil website. Mayflower, Ark., Chief of Police Bob Satkowski told Channel 7 News in Little Rock that those residents had to leave their homes because of health risks from the crude oil fumes and possible fires. KARK, an NBC affiliate station in Little Rock, reported that part of the pipeline runs through a water source that provides drinking water to nearly 400,000 residents in central Arkansas.

Exxon shut the 20-inch Pegasus pipeline, which carries crude oil from Pakota, Illinois, to the Gulf Coast, after the leak was discovered on Friday afternoon. Federal, state and local officials were on site and the company said it was staging a response for a spill of more than 10,000 barrels "to be conservative."

Incredible North Atlantic storm spans Atlantic Ocean, coast to coast 28 Mar 2013 I'm not sure I’ve ever seen a storm this big before. The storm shown here stretches west to east from Newfoundland to Portugal. Its southern tail (cold front) extends into the Caribbean and the north side of its comma head touches southern Greenland. Not only is it big, but it's also super intense -- comparable to many category 3 hurricanes. The storm's central pressure, as analyzed by the Ocean Prediction Center, is 953 mb. Estimated peak wave heights are around 25-30 feet.

Seal pup stranded in Mass. finds help in Conn. 29 Mar 2013 A harbor seal pup is charming visitors at Mystic Aquarium, eight months after she was found stranded on the beach in Plymouth, Mass., suffering from deep, infected wounds inflicted by an older seal. The seal was between one- and two-months-old when rescuers from Boston's New England Aquarium found her. She was suffering from a respiratory infection and had lost a lot of weight when she was taken to Connecticut's Mystic Aquarium.

The U.S. economy is in a bubble inflated by “phony money” from the Federal Reserve and will burst within a few years, warned David Stockman, who was budget director for President Ronald Reagan.
In an essay published yesterday in the New York Times (NYT), Stockman wrote that the Fed’s quantitative easing policies in the aftermath of the credit crisis have flooded stock markets with cash even while the “Main Street economy” remains weak. The combination, he wrote, is “unsustainable.”

“When it bursts, there will be no new round of bailouts like the ones the banks got in 2008,” wrote Stockman, a former senior managing director at Blackstone Group LP (BX) and a former Republican congressman from Michigan. “Instead, America will descend into an era of zero-sum austerity and virulent political conflict, extinguishing even today’s feeble remnants of economic growth.”
Stockman, 66, is the author of “The Great Deformation: The Corruption of Capitalism in America,” which will be published April 2.
The Fed, led by Ben S. Bernanke, is purchasing $85 billion in assets every month. The Fed is leaving its key interest rate near zero while it tries to reduce unemployment below 6.5 percent and hold inflation below 2.5 percent.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index (SPX) rose to an all-time high last week, closing at 1,569.19 on March 28. That surpassed the previous record of 1,565.15 set in October 2007. U.S. stock markets were closed March 29 for the Good Friday holiday.

Gold Standard

Among the other culprits Stockman blamed for what he termed a “state-wreck” are President Franklin Delano Roosevelt for weakening the gold standard in 1933, President Richard Nixon for removing the convertibility of dollars to gold and “lapsed hero” Alan Greenspan, the former Fed chairman, for keeping interest rates too low for too long.
Investors will sell, Stockman wrote, at any hint that the Fed is starting to remove assets from its balance sheet.
“Notwithstanding Bernanke’s assurances about eventually, gradually making a smooth exit, the Fed is domiciled in a monetary prison of its own making,” he wrote, warning of unsustainable fiscal policies as well. “These policies have brought America to an end-stage metastasis. The way out would be so radical it can’t happen.”
Paul Krugman, the Princeton University economist and New York Times columnist, responded on his blog yesterday, saying that he was “disappointed” in Stockman’s “gee-whiz, context- and model-free numbers embedded in a rant -- and not even an interesting rant.”
Krugman called Stockman’s piece “cranky old man stuff,” and summarized it this way:
“We’ve been doomed, yes doomed, ever since FDR took us off the gold standard and introduced unemployment insurance. What about those 80 years of non-doom? Just a series of lucky accidents. Now we’re really doomed. I mean it!”

Four pages with the names of some 132 companies and individuals who withdrew the bulk of their deposits in euros, dollars and rubles kept in local banks reveals a publication of the first issue.

Money transfers made within 15 days, namely from 1 until March 15. On Friday, March 15, had met the Eurogroup, which officially decided to impose a tax on deposits by companies and individuals in all financial institutions in Cyprus.

These 132 companies and individuals have withdrawn all deposits in euros, dollars and rubles, which were transferred to other banks outside Cyprus.

The disclosure of the list, which shows that the outflow of deposits from local banks other financial institutions outside Cyprus became massively raises suspicion that some had inside information about the decisions taken by the other 16 eurozone countries in exchange for financing deficits of the economy.

In listings, and the company is Loutsios & Sons Ltd, which carried 21 million deposit in a UK bank, while the owner of the company is alleged to have family ties with the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis.

The first column are names of companies and individuals in the second record of the amounts withdrawn in the third column refers to the amount withdrawn in the same currency, the currency in the fourth and the fifth and last column refers to the date of transfer.

The UCC filing statement from 2011 raised 14.3 Trillion in money under the Obama Administration by using the the people of the United States as "property improvement" capital on the land for purposes of collateral. Essentially they sold you for 14.3 Trillion dollars in borrowed funds. This is quite separate from the birth certificate bonds. I contacted the financial person and they provided me with President Clinton's 1997 Presidential Order, publicly defining the people of the United States as "Property Improvements" on the land of the United States. You can't file a UCC on property, but you can file on property improvements. This defining people as property has been going on since the 1930s but was only declared publicly in 1997 by President Clinton. Cyprus President’s Family Transferred Millions to London Days Before Bank Confiscations

Before the people of Cyprus knew that their savings were going to be confiscated, the president’s family transferred millions of dollars out of the country through one of their companies.

Over the weekend it was reported that people in Cyprus may lose as much as 60 percent of the money in their savings accounts.

The president of Cyprus, acting on behalf of the people, rolled over to the EU and agreed to go along with their plan and continue to mandate the EU currency under his jurisdiction.
Just days before the confiscations were announced to the public, a company closely connected to the president of Cyprus transferred millions of dollars to London.
RT reported that:
During two days, 12 and 13 of March, the company A.Loutsios & Sons Ltd., co-owned by Loutsios John, the husband of Nikos Anastasiadis’ daughter, Elsa, took five promissory notes worth €21 million from Laiki Bank. The money was then transferred to London, reported Cypriot newspaper Haravgi, affiliated to the communist-rooted AKEL party.  The withdrawal was fulfilled just three days before the Eurogroup meeting when euro finance ministers agreed a 10 billion euro ($13 billion) bailout for Cyprus. The newspaper recalls that Cyprus Finance Minister, Michalis Sarris, publicly admitted that the government was aware in advance about the Eurogroup’s intentions to impose a “haircut” on bank deposits of more than 100,000 euros.
Responding to the allegations, Anastasiades said: “The attempt to defame companies or people linked to my family… is nothing but an attempt to distract people from the liability of those who led the country to a state of bankruptcy.”
Yet as president of a country involved in central banking, Anastasiades is absolutely complicit in the countries state of bankruptcy.  In addition,  a list of companies and politicians that had loans written off by banks at the heart of Cyprus’ bailout crisis was published in Greece and was subsequently handed to the Cypriot parliament’s ethics committee.
This situation has caught the attention of people worldwide, who are now wondering if their savings accounts are at risk, considering that Cyprus is not much different from any other central banking government.  These measures are not just possible in other places, they have actually already been planned, Cyprus just happens to be the first place in the EU to get robbed.
Earlier last week Anastasiades admitted that the measures in Cyprus were simply an “experiment” concocted by the European Union in an attempt to deal with their current debt crisis.
It was also revealed in plans dating back to last year that
“Confiscation of the customer deposits in Cyprus banks, it seems, was not a one-off, desperate idea of a few Eurozone “troika” officials scrambling to salvage their balance sheets. A joint paper by the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Bank of England dated December 10, 2012, shows that these plans have been long in the making; that they originated with the G20 Financial Stability Board in Basel, Switzerland; and that the result will be to deliver clear title to the banks of depositor funds.”
It was also reported last week that a Cyprus style “bail in” was proposed in the new 2013 Canadian budget.
There has been a rush towards precious metals and Bitcoin because people are attempting to retain as much of their wealth as possible, but for many who have had their funds seized it was too late.
To help the people of Cyprus get their assets off the grid, Jeff Berwick has announced that he will be opening a Bitcoin ATM in Cyprus in the coming weeks.

It’s no secret that monopolist corporations work so closely with the government that they are arguably the same entity, this fact is highlighted by the revolving door that exists between these two different factions of the ruling class.  Most people who find themselves in high level political positions were once CEO’s of fortune 100 companies and those who aren’t will likely become a well-connected lobbyist upon leaving office. 
Some obvious examples of this revolving door would be Dick Cheney, former vice president and top executive at Halliburton, Michael Taylor of both the FDA and Monsanto or Goldman Sachs CEO turned treasury secretary Henry Paulson.  Each of the crooks in question undoubtedly used their political positions to influence events in such a way that would greatly benefit their respective businesses, this is commonplace in Washington.
Now with Obama’s most recent nominations for various regulatory agencies, that revolving door is just as present as it ever was.
According to the New York Times:
President Obama’s nominee for energy secretary, Ernest J. Moniz, is a consultant to the energy giant BP and a member of the advisory council and board of trustees of King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center, of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, among other positions, according to disclosure statements filed with the government and released on Friday….

In all, he holds assets worth $4.6 million to $17.9 million. He is also a consultant to General Electric and IHS CERA, the consulting firm formerly known as Cambridge Energy Research Associates, and a director at American Science and Engineering of Billerica, Mass., a company that does security work, including cargo screening.

*Margaret Miller, Michael Taylor, and Suzanne Sechen (an FDA “primary reviewer for all rbST and other dairy drug production applications” ) were the subjects of a U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) investigation in 1994 for their role in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s approval of Posilac, Monsanto Corporation’s formulation of recombinant bovine growth hormone (rbST or rBGH). The GAO Office found “no conflicting financial interests with respect to the drug’s approval” and only “one minor deviation from now superseded FDA regulations”. This situation is an inevitable consequence of a process known as “regulatory capture”.  According to the Mises Wiki page:
Regulatory capture is a theory associated with George Stigler, a Nobel laureate economist. It is the process by which regulatory agencies eventually come to be dominated by the very industries they were charged with regulating. Regulatory capture happens when a regulatory agency, formed to act in the public’s interest, eventually acts in ways that benefit the industry it is supposed to be regulating, rather than the public.
Beyond this it is even more typical for those involved in monopolist corporations to develop quiet and cooperative relationships with people who already have political power, this allows them to direct  policy from behind the scenes by simply befriending or bribing politicians.

Judge Rejects Obama Administration Argument that Declassifying Guantánamo Case Documents is Too Much Work

The Obama administration has been ordered by a federal judge to declassify the government’s file on a former detainee after officials tried to claim that doing so would require too much work.

Mohammed Sulaymon Barre of Somaliland, who was held at Guantánamo until December 2009, filed a motion to compel the government to disclose the information officials had collected on him. 
The government responded by saying it could not meet the request because of the time it would take to sift through the file and redact portions of it.
U.S. District Chief Judge Royce Lamberth rejected the administration’s argument, and said he was “troubled by the government’s apparent lack of urgency in issuing public versions of classified materials filed in Guantánamo proceedings.”
Lamberth added: “The government’s arguments are unavailing and largely boil down to this: ‘Declassification is complicated and time consuming and we already have a lot of work—please don’t pile on.’”
Barre (a.k.a. Mohamed Saleban Bare) was arrested and detained in November 2001 while living as a UN-designated refugee in Karachi, Pakistan. He became a suspect in the eyes of the U.S. because of his alleged ties to Al-Wafa, a Saudi foundation accused of terrorist activities, and because of his job at Dahabshiil Company, a Somali-based financial institution that allegedly sent money to and from customers in Pakistan. Sulaymon maintained that he had done nothing wrong and was picked up because U.S. forces were paying bounties for the capture of alleged enemies.
His detention included being held at military bases in Kandahar and Bagram in Afghanistan, before being transferred to Guantanamo, where he claims he was tortured. Upon his release, he told Agence France-Presse, “Guantánamo Bay is like hell on Earth….In the cold they let you sleep without a blanket. Some of the inmates face harsher torture, including with electricity and beating….Some of my colleagues in the prison lost their sight, some lost their limbs and others ended up mentally disturbed. I’m OK compared to them.”

The UCC filing statement from 2011raised 14.3 Trillion in money under the Obama Administration by using the the people of the United States as "property improvement" capital on the land for purposes of collateral. Essentially they sold you for 14.3 Trillion dollars in borrowed funds. This is quite separate from the birth certificate bonds. I contacted the financial person and they provided me with President Clinton's 1997 Presidential Order, publicly defining the people of the United States as "Property Improvements" on the land of the United States. You can't file a UCC on property, but you can file on property improvements. This defining people as property has been going on since the 1930s but was only declared publicly in 1997 by President Clinton. Alejandro Pezet was saying Holy Mass at a Catholic church in the commercial center of Buenos Aires. As he was finishing distributing Holy Communion, a woman came up to tell him that she had found a discarded host on a candleholder at the back of the church. On going to the spot indicated, Fr. Alejandro saw the defiled Host. Since he was unable to consume it, he placed it in a container of water and put it away in the tabernacle of the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. On Monday, August 26, upon opening the tabernacle, he saw to his amazement that the Host had turned into a bloody substance. He informed Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, who gave instructions that the Host be professionally photographed. The photos were taken on September 6.
