NASA – CO2 is a Global Coolant
by  Bob Nichols

[Editors Note: Armand Hammer of Occidental Petroleum (Hammer's wikipedia has remained cleaned of his espionage history, despite it's being out over a decade now. You can guess why) was the financial and political mentor for both Senator Gores. So they hold the honor of having a top Soviet spy as a patron. Hammer's much advertised early Soviet business ventures (all of which lost money) were a cover for his espionage venture.
This was finally revealed when Prof. Harvey Klehr of Emory University here in Atlanta in his book, Venona, Decoding Soviet Espionage in America. The proof came from the Soviet archives when Yeltsin had them open for a few years. I was fortunate to spend an afternoon with him around ten years ago shooting two one hour Jim Dean Journals, one of them on Venona...and hoping to get this up on the Net some day... Jim W. Dean]

NASA gores Gore – it’s just biz-ness – Global Warming is out is the Take-away
(San Francisco) The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) lowers the Boom on Al Gore’s Big Lie that the humble, beneficial gas – CO2 – causes global warming. NASA states absolutely that Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a Global Coolant and massively cools the Earth.
You can bet that the NASA scientists designed, built, launched and placed in Earth orbit the satellite machinery to prove it, too.
So, there we have it. In addition, the Earth has not gotten any warmer for 17 years. NASA has finally pulled the plug on Gore’s Big Lie and ended the gigantic, world wide charade on CO2.
This “discovery” about CO2 is nothing new, it’s well known by scientists not employed by the Gore-istas. The Gore-istas probably know it, too; but the money was just too good to pass up. Besides, you don’t have to do anything except sit around, make up wild stories and tell lies. Great “job” if you like that sort of thing.
Why did Gore do it?

If you follow the money, Gore, a career politician, now has a net worth of about $200 million to $300 million dollars, conservatively. That is a stratospheric increase from about $1 million dollars in the year 2000.
They say all politics is local and if we look around in Gore’s home state of Tennessee, there are many Tennessee companies, both private and governmental, that owe their existence to Gore Jr. or his dad, Gore Sr.
US Businessweek’s Cover – Watch how fast they ditch Gore and change their tune.
Both father and son were elected United States Senators from Tennessee and brought home the “bacon” for many companies and home state jobs. Both were the “go to” politician for various “political problems” of the sponsored companies and industries.
Nothing unusual there, many Senators see that as just part of their job as privatized public servants. In other words, they are bought and paid for many times over as they sell themselves for campaign cash. It’s a devil’s bargain.
Senators on the make have no concern whatsoever for what they are privately hired to do on government time; but, the results can disastrously boomerang on the country and world. Especially so in the very particular cases of the United States nuclear weapons programs (the nuker program.)
The high sounding Toronto Protocol of the United Nations was simply to phase out the use of CFCs word wide. CFC is an abbreviation for a chemical refrigerant manufactured, at the time, by the rich and powerful DuPont Company.
It is used in cooling systems like refrigerators and air conditioners. CFCs are responsible for killing the Ozone over Antarctica all the way to Australia. Ozone is essential to life on Earth since it blocks deadly Ultraviolet Rays from our Sun and makes the Earth habitable.
Pro-Nukers: Deadly when their Livelihoods are threatened

As far as the Nuke Labs were concerned, though, the Toronto Protocol was a poisoned dagger held to the throat of the entire US Nuclear Weapons Program by its sneaky world wide enemies.
Making uranium suitable for nuke weapons and reactor fuel rods is really hot nasty work. It requires many thousands of “tons” of air conditioning for cooling the machinery, uranium, buildings, computers and people. The air conditioning equipment in the uranium plants is saturated by Uranium Dust and impossible to work on. When it leaks CFC refrigerant gas; it just leaks.
The “close enough for government work” non-solution was to back CFC refrigerant tanker trucks up to the back of the plants and dump as much CFC as was needed into the broken machinery to try to keep it working, leaks and all.
One nuke plant was internationally known to be the point source of 55% of the CFC released to the air in North America. The nuke boys had a serious problem.

The alternative was to shut down the US Nuclear Weapons Program. That would never do. Because of these easy to follow reasons the Nuke Program and the nuclear jobs were in jeopardy from the nuke killing Toronto Protocol on CFCs.
Closing the nuker program down was a non-starter for political reasons. US World Domination is based on thousands of nuclear weapons and the willingness to use them on humans. So, forget any do-gooder “treaties” killing the US nuke weapons program.
Money – The most powerful drug in America
The threatening Toronto Anti-CFC Protocol had to be killed or sidetracked. The nuke boys would lose their cushy government jobs if not. Besides that, there was the US world domination thing based on the realistic Fear that the US Military would go Postal and blow another little country away.
Ta-Da! Al Gore to the Rescue of the Nukers!
The Nuke Boys needed a culprit substitute gas to kill the Toronto Protocol and a “Media Personality.” They decided to pick on the lowly gas Carbon Dioxide, symbol CO2; and Gore was the just the Man to lead the anti-CO2 campaign.
All that was necessary was to, literally, fool most of world. That and intimidate the rest. All people had to do was “To Believe;” or, at least not speak up. The finely crafted lie was that CO2 was a heat trapping “Greenhouse Gas” and was causing “Global Warming;” when CO2 is actually a Global Coolant. Not a problem for the New York Times and their ilk. They do stuff like that all the time and it works the same in every country.
Al Gore would be the lead “Media Personality” and was free to make as much money as he could. Above all else, the United States nuclear weapons program would survive and US world domination was assured.
Why Now on the NASA Press Release?
After many years of frustrating failed attempts, weapons physicists and scientists finally figured out how to separate the all important Bomb Grade Uranium from raw Uranium ore in 2010. The lightening speed at which the government moved to capitalize on it was amazing. The job uses far less electricity and makes a fraction of the heat
The US moved to build a new $6 Billion dollar building for uranium laser separation, closed the old plant and fired 1,150 dedicated nuke plant employees. The NASA announcement on CO2 effectively cut Al Gore loose and closed the curtain on the mythology of fictitious global warming; which is now changed to “Global Cooling.”
Welcome to your new world of Global Cooling!

“A recent NASA report throws the space agency into conflict with its climatologists after new NASA measurements prove that carbon dioxide acts as a coolant in Earth’s atmosphere. NASA’s Langley Research Center has collated data proving that “greenhouse gases” actually block up to 95 percent of harmful solar rays from reaching our planet, thus reducing the heating impact of the sun. The data was collected by Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry, (or SABER). SABER monitors infrared emissions from Earth’s upper atmosphere, in particular from carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO), two substances thought to be playing a key role in the energy balance of air above our planet’s surface.” [Emphasis is mine]  Tiny URL:  http://tinyurl.com/ljyqxbz  http://www.drudge.com/news/167663/nasa-study-proves-carbon-dioxide-cools

4. How much is Al Gore worth? $300 Million, a conservative estimate. Al Gore net worth: Al Gore is a former senator, Vice President, environmental activist and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $300 million. Al Gore has achieved a lot in his years in the public eye, both in the public and private sectors. In addition to his net worth, he’s considered one of the most influential activists for the environment. Through his efforts in getting the word out about the danger our environment is in, he’s done much in the way of changing the conversation about the issues of global warming, pollution, and environmentalism. Gore comes from a political family, his father was a Democratic US Representative and Senator.
In addition to influencing Gore’s path in life, this is also believed by some to be the reason Gore’s call to enlist in the military during the Vietnam War was held up by the Nixon administration, so as to avoid Gore’s father getting any sympathy votes! Gore himself was eventually elected Vice President under President Bill Clinton, with whom he served two consecutive four year terms. Al Gore won an Academy Award for his 2006 climate documentary An Inconvenient Truth. Gore then went on to found the cable news network Current TV. Despite their low ratings, in December 2012 Current TV was purchased by Al Jazeera for $500 million. Gore’s 20% stake in Current TV earned him $100 million in pre-tax profits. Is NSA Blackmail Inc. for the military industrial complex?

Is the NSA Blackmail Inc. for the military industrial complex?

Is NSA Blackmail Inc. for the military industrial complex?

By Jon Rappoport
June 28, 2013

Every director of the NSA is a general or an admiral.

The NSA is organized under the US Dept. of Defense.

Imagine that you are a powerful player who straddles two worlds---the Dept. of Defense and the private sector where corporate defense-contractors live and flourish.

You've served many times in both arenas. Your name is Mr. Military Industrial Complex.

Your mission is war.

The reasons for war don't matter. Reasons can be invented at the drop of a hat. You want endless armed conflict.

That's how you make your money. That's how you express your impulses. That's your single obsession. That's how you forward Empire.

You don't have to justify what you do or consult your conscience. Those days, if they ever existed, are long past. You're a war-monger and you're proud of it.

Your basic challenge, on behalf of the military industrial complex, is working the political machinery in Washington---the Congress, the president, the two major Parties---in order to make war happen.

One day, you look around and you say, "I have a whole super-agency at my disposal. It's organized under the Dept. of Defense. It-called the NSA. It spies on everybody all the time."

You realize you can use the NSA to collect endless amounts of information on Congress, the White House, the president, the press, and the Democratic and Republican leadership.

Well, the NSA is already doing that.

So the question is: will you use that explosive information, that very private information gained through spying, to coerce these politicians to go to war when you want to go to war?

Is the Pope Catholic?

Of course you'll use it. You'd be a complete fool not to.

In fact, in the long run, this may well be the most important function of NSA.

Yes. Given your overriding mission in life, it is the most important function of NSA.

It's job number one.

So you're going to make sure the resources of the NSA are tuned up quite effectively to extract the information you need.

It's called blackmail.

It's called extortion.

It's beautiful.

It's the natural use of the NSA, within the overall structure of the military industrial complex.

There are always recalcitrant members of Congress and reluctant presidents who could use a push to go to war.

These politicians, the overwhelming majority of them, are criminals. Let's face it. They're remarkably indifferent to human life.

They cheat and lie and steal. They have private secrets. They commit acts that would, if exposed, embarrass them and destroy their pathetic careers.

They're wonderfully fertile targets for spying and blackmail.

You have the spear. The leading point that can penetrate those secrets.

The NSA.

The logic is perfect and complete.

So you really have two enemies or targets. One, the foreign nation you intend to invade, and two, the politicians you need to convince to support that war.

In light of your latter target, the politicians, these words of Sun Tzu (The Art of War) take on new meaning:

"Attack [your enemy] where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected." For example, in a Senator's hotel suite, with video capability, while he is in the arms of a hooker.

"The general who wins the battle makes many calculations in his temple before the battle." For example, calculations focusing on politicians' offshore bank accounts.

In the era of kings and queens, the monarch's court was rife with intrigue and extortion. We labor under the misapprehension that this has all been cleared up and swept away in the time of "open government."

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Only means and tools have changed.

Relentless PR projected at the public makes a case for honest, honorable, and embattled politicians. Secondary layers of PR make the case that rabidly morbid partisanship infects political life.

Both of these psyops are cover stories.

The core truth is harsher. Politicians are, overwhelmingly, creatures who have decided whom to sell their souls to.

That's who they are. People of this stripe always wander off course in their private lives.

The NSA is there to record the wanderings and compile the secrets.

NSA is the elephant in the infested room called Washington.

It remembers everything.

War is war, and preparing to go to war is also war. The military industrial complex needs the NSA to close the deal.

Spying, blackmail.

This is how politicians' arms are twisted and war is guaranteed.

Things aren't left to chance. It isn't, "Maybe some day we'll go to war or maybe we won't."

The military industrial complex sells death. It's backed up by the largest spying agency in the world, who has red-hot files on politicians' scandalous private behavior.

From Russ Tice, former intelligence analyst with 20 years of experience at NSA, the US Air Force, the Office of Naval Intelligence, and the Defense Intelligence Agency, in a June 2013 interview with Boiling Frogs:

"They [NSA] went after[spied on] -- and I know this because I had my hands literally on the paperwork for these sort of things -- they went after high-ranking military officers; they went after members of Congress, both Senate and the House, especially on the intelligence committees and on the armed services committees and some of the -- and judicial...

"They went after lawyers and law firms. All kinds of -- heaps of lawyers and law firms. They went after judges. One of the judges is now sitting on the Supreme Court that I had his wiretap information in my hand. Two are former FISA court judges. They went after State Department officials. They went after people in the executive service that were part of the White House -- their own people.

"Here's the big one... this was in summer of 2004, one of the papers that I held in my hand was to wiretap a bunch of numbers associated with a 40-something-year-old wannabe senator for Illinois. You wouldn't happen to know where that guy lives right now would you? It's a big white house in Washington, D.C. That's who they went after, and that's the president of the United States now."

POLICE CONFISCATE GUNS FROM FLOODED TOWN

  • Text smaller
  • Text bigger
The town flooded, and the police came in, evacuated the population … and then confiscated the residents’ guns out of their empty houses.
The residents of High River, Alberta, population nearly 13,000, are still awaiting authorities’ permission to return to their homes. Dozens have been engaged in a standoff with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at a checkpoint at the edge of town since floodwaters prompted a forced evacuation last week.
Several news sources report tensions are high since news broke police have also been gathering residents’ firearms.
“I find that absolutely incredible that they have the right to go into a person’s belongings out of their home,” resident Brenda Lackey told the Calgary Herald. “When people find out about this, there’s going to be untold hell to pay.”
“This is the reason the U.S. has the right to bear arms,” said Charles Timpano at the checkpoint, where he and others have gathered to demand reentry into High River.
Video of the standoff can be seen below:
The police, thus far, insist the gun confiscation is only for the citizens’ safety and that the firearms will be returned.
“We just want to make sure that all of those things are in a spot that we control, simply because of what they are,” Sgt. Brian Topham told the Herald. “People have a significant amount of money invested in firearms … so we put them in a place that we control and that they’re safe.”
Alberta Premier Alison Redford defended the action: “I think what we need to understand is these are exceptional circumstances. … In an emergency situation we need to have our police ensuring there is law and order.”
The RCMP further released a written statement explaining owners wouldn’t want their firearms to “fall into the wrong hands” during the evacuation and pledging to return guns to owners “as soon as practically possible.”
The statement said the guns were found “in plain view” during search and rescue operations, a potential problem, since Canadian law requires gun owners keep firearms in locked vaults or containers.
Yet Solicitor General Jonathan Denis has suggested the owners aren’t likely to face prosecution.
“My personal view is we have to consider the context we’re dealing with,” Denis said in an interview Friday. “I wouldn’t be surprised people took guns out of their lockers so they wouldn’t get flooded.”
He added, “I will work with the RCMP to ensure there’s an orderly return of property.”
Sgt. Topham told the Herald the confiscated guns have been inventoried and are secured at an RCMP detachment. He would not specify how many firearms had been confiscated, only that “a large quantity” had been taken because they were “left by residents in their places.”
The guns will be returned to owners after residents are allowed back in town and they provide proof of ownership, Topham added.
CBC News reports local officials have announced some residents will be allowed to return to their homes on Saturday.

Amazing Grace….

Amazing Grace….
This guy certainly has the voice to sing this song. Enjoy the story and the music.  > ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL & AMAZING!!!

At Carnegie Hall, gospel singer Wintley Phipps delivers perhaps the most powerful rendition of Amazing Grace ever recorded.
He says, "A lot of people don't realize that just about all Negro spirituals are written on the black notes of the piano. Probably the most famous on this slave scale was written by John Newton, who used to be the captain of a slave ship, and many believe he heard this melody that sounds very much like a West African sorrow chant.
And - it has a haunting, haunting plaintive quality to it that reaches past your arrogance, past your pride, and it speaks to that part of you that's in bondage. And we feel it. We feel it.
It's just one of the most amazing melodies in all of human history." After sharing the noteworthy history of the song, Mr. Phipps delivers a stirring performance that brings the audience to its feet!

Mich. ban on domestic partner benefits blocked

From: legal_reality
Subj: Fwd: Mich. ban on domestic partner benefits blocked

26 June A.D. 2013

In general, this confirms that "marriage" is a matter of "STATE law," and that the feds may not put asunder what the STATEs have joined together.

The STATEs will be "encouraged" by the european banking cartel to continue to expand the scope/access to gay marriage.  Gay marriage is "big" in "this state," for it's a self-realizing population control measure.  Fewer ways better to help a nation destroy itself than by diminishing its reproduction rate below that necessary to keep that nation on par (or growing).

This'll be a HUGE boon to the "family law" bar and practice.  Gay marriages don't last any longer than straight marriages, these days.

Where "federal benefits" must now be bestowed on gay couples, there's at least one auxiliary issue.  As illustrated in the story below, "estate tax" matters will now be different (that many fewer "estates" available to collect). Gay couples will now be recognized as filing "MARRIED FILING JOINTLY."  Don't know what percentage of any of the decrease in "taxes" going into the system or benefits coming back out are at issue, but if it's enough, then there'll "have" to be a "tax" increase to cover the "loss."

It's just one more aspect confirming the reality of this present "Beast" system and of the shortness of time remaining for this "Beast" system.  The more of this activity the is, the closer to the end we're supposed to be.

Supreme Court strikes down Defense of Marriage Act
By Pete Williams and Erin McClam, NBC News

In a landmark ruling for gay rights, the Supreme Court on Wednesday
struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, the 1996 law blocking federal
recognition of same-sex marriages.

The decision was 5-4, written by Justice Anthony Kennedy. It said that
the law amounted to the “deprivation of the equal liberty of persons
that is protected by the Fifth Amendment.”

In a separate case, the court ruled that it could not take up a
challenge to Proposition 8, the California law that banned gay marriage
in that state. That decision means that gay marriage will once again be
legal in California.

The ruling on the Defense of Marriage Act means that the federal
government must recognize the gay marriages deemed legal by the states —
12 plus the District of Columbia, before the California case was
decided. The law helps determine who is covered by more than 1,100
federal laws, programs and benefits, including Social Security survivor
benefits, immigration rights and family leave.

“DOMA instructs all federal officials, and indeed all persons with whom
same-sex couples interact, including their own children, that their
marriage is less worthy than the marriages of others,” the ruling said.
It added that the law was invalid because there was no legitimate
purpose for disparaging those whom states “sought to protect in
personhood and dignity.”

President Barack Obama, in a post on Twitter, said that the ruling was a
“historic step forward for #MarriageEquality.”

Kennedy was joined in the majority by the four members of the court’s
liberal wing, Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia
Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. Dissenting were Chief Justice John Roberts
and Justices Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.

Scalia, in his dissent, wrote: “We have no power to decide this case.
And even if we did, we have no power under the Constitution to
invalidate this democratically adopted legislation. The Court’s errors
on both points spring forth from the same diseased root: an exalted
conception of the role of this institution in America.”

Cheers went up outside the Supreme Court, where supporters of gay
marriage waved signs, rainbow banners and flags with equality symbols.

The ruling comes as states are authorizing gay marriage with increasing
speed and with public opinion having turned narrowly in favor of gay
marriage.

Under the law, gay couples who are legally married in their states were
not considered married in the eyes of the federal government, and were
ineligible for the federal benefits that come with marriage.

The case before the Supreme Court, U.S. v. Windsor, concerned Edith
Windsor and Thea Spyer, a lesbian couple who lived together in New York
for 44 years and married in Canada in 2007.

When Spyer died in 2009, Windsor was hit with $363,000 in federal estate
taxes. Had the couple been considered by the federal government to be
married, Windsor would not have incurred those taxes.

Kennedy, in the ruling, said that New York’s decision to authorize gay
marriage was a proper exercise of its authority, and reflected “the
community’s considered perspective on the historical roots of the
institution of marriage and its evolving understanding of the meaning of
equality.”

President Bill Clinton signed the act into law in September 1996. A
court ruling in Hawaii had raised the prospect that that state might
become the first to authorize gay marriage.

At the time, some members of Congress believed that the Defense of
Marriage Act might be a compromise that would take the air out of a
movement to amend the Constitution to block gay marriage.

Ooops!  A little bit of ink spillage, there.

We'll definitely want to watch this one as it moves through the system.

Where the STATE (OF MICHIGAN) has stated, legislatively, i.e., through a normal, established, recognized policy-making process, that "marriage" is between "one man and one woman," then that's the policy for that STATE.  The national system is bound by that STATE policy.

If this author understands the reason for the recent DOMA-striking ruling, it's simply this:  "marriage" is a STATE-law matter.

Here, the STATE (OF MICHIGAN) has spoken legislatively, where the STATE (OF CALIFORNIA) has spoken through a STATE-wide vote (directly from the people, who, by the way, since that's a STATE election, can, per a STATE policy, if such exists, be required to prove ID).  Both processes confirm and establish STATE policy, and per those STATE policies, "marriage" is between "one man and one woman."

The DOMA-striking ruling wasn't a pro-gay, pro-homosexual ruling, as if it were now federal policy that no STATE may define "marriage" as between "one man and one woman."  That's not what that ruling says, at all.  What it says is that the national legislature doesn't have a horse in that race.  And, that's about all it says, in essence, except for the very clear support for the notion that what the STATE says about that issue is controlling on the national system.

So, there being a definite difference of perspective on the legal policy for this one (between the recent policies established by the Supreme Court and how this trial judge is apply that new policy), we'll want to watch this as it progresses through the system.  IMPORTANT here is whether the STATE officers with the duty to enforce the STATE's duly- and properly-established policy do their jobs or abandon their jobs.  If they do their jobs, they're giving CALIFORNIA officers a clinic.  If they abandon their jobs, then they'll have been "infected" with this CALIFORNIA-style of malpractice, malfeasance in office, and etc.

Mich. ban on domestic partner benefits blocked

Jun. 28 5:47 PM EDT

Home » Rick Snyder » Mich. ban on domestic partner benefits blocked

DETROIT (AP) — A federal judge on Friday blocked Michigan's ban on domestic partner benefits for employees who work for public schools or local governments, saying state lawmakers simply wanted to punish gays and lesbians.
U.S. District Judge David Lawson said plaintiffs who have lost benefits or been forced to buy expensive private health insurance have made a "plausible claim" that the law violates the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution. The decision came nearly a year after he heard arguments in the lawsuit, filed by the American Civil Liberties Union.
"It is hard to argue with a straight face that the primary purpose — indeed, perhaps the sole purpose — of the statute is other than to deny health benefits to the same-sex partners of public employees. But that can never be a legitimate governmental purpose," Lawson said as he ordered an injunction.
The law, passed in 2011 by the Republican-controlled Legislature and signed by Gov. Rick Snyder, ended insurance for people whose domestic partners work for certain public employers. It's somewhat narrow, exempting colleges and universities, as well as most state government workers whose benefits are set by the Michigan Civil Service Commission.
A handful of school districts had offered benefits before the law took effect in 2012, along with Ingham and Washtenaw counties and the cities of Ann Arbor, East Lansing and Kalamazoo, according to the ACLU.
Supporters of the law say it saves tax dollars and follows the spirit of a 2004 constitutional amendment, approved by 58 percent of voters, that defines marriage only as a union between a man and a woman.
Lawson, however, said that argument stinks. The state's claims "come close to striking (the court) with the force of a 5-week-old, unrefrigerated dead fish," he said.
In his 51-page opinion, Lawson cited this week's decision by the U.S. Supreme Court that struck down a portion of a federal law that barred certain benefits to married same-sex couples.
"This is great news. It's a very mean-spirited law," said Lansing piano teacher Gerado Ascheri, 55, who has been paying $460 a month after losing better, less expensive health coverage through his partner's employer, Ingham County.
Barbara Ramber, 54, said she and partner JoLinda Jach, 49, have paid more than $4,000 in out-of-pocket expenses since Ramber lost insurance through the city of Kalamazoo. She has glaucoma and other eye ailments but her replacement insurance isn't generous.
"I'm optimistic and prayerful the city of Kalamazoo will reinstate the insurance," said Ramber, who lives in Kalamazoo Township and works part-time in a school cafeteria.
Although the injunction doesn't end the case, Michigan ACLU legal director Michael Steinberg said the law clearly is doomed. He said any public school district or local government now can choose to restore or create benefits for same-sex couples or unmarried opposite-sex couples.
"The judge was absolutely correct in finding that the law was unconstitutional because it's motivated by bigotry," Steinberg said.
The state, of course, still could appeal. The attorney general's office, which defended the law in court, had no comment. Ari Adler, spokesman for House Speaker Jase Bolger, R-Marshall, said the law's supporters still stand behind it.
Sen. Gretchen Whitmer of East Lansing, leader of Senate Democrats, praised the judge and said she's "disheartened that our governor wouldn't stand up for equality in the first place" and veto the bill.
Separately, another judge is considering whether to strike down Michigan's nearly 9-year-old ban on same-sex marriage. It's not known when U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman will make a decision.
