McDonald's Just Recalled 1 Million Chicken Nuggets. The Reason Why Will Sicken You
Last week, McDonald’s Japan apologized to a customer after they found bits of blue plastic in an order of their Chicken McNuggets. As a result, McDonald’s has pulled a million McNuggets from the factory. Another customer found a piece of vinyl in their McNuggets.
“We deeply apologize for the trouble we have caused our customers and we are taking quick measures to analyze the cause of the contamination,” said company spokeswoman Takashi Hasegasa.
This isn’t even the worst thing found in McDonald’s food. Just last August, a customer in Osaka complained after finding a piece of a human tooth in their french fries order. Yuck!
McDonald’s has been having some poultry issues though. Last July, McDonald’s had to shut down its poultry supplier in China after the company began mixing fresh chicken with expired chicken meat, making it a potentially deadly health hazard for consumers.
Stories like these have led to a 10% drop in McDonald’s sales just in the last year, according to CNN. McDonald’s is trying to smooth it over with discounts, giveaways, and new nuggets made of tofu. Interesting.
One thing is for sure, as stories like this surface, people begin to realize the value of good, local, organic food.

Survival of the Fittest: Ignorance is a rough ride.
The
learning that takes place during a new experience, becomes a baseline,
which is used as a ruler, for measuring future experiences.
Some experiences are pleasant, some are not.
Depending on the predominance of one's accumulated experiences, an assumption will be made during new experiences.
This tends to paint one's perception of an
unknown context in a good light, for those that have encountered a
predominance of pleasurable experiences.
This tends to paint one's perception of an
unknown context in a bad light, for those that have encountered a
predominance of non-pleasurable experiences.
Assumptions about the motivations of others are made.
Without the ability to grasp the complete
context, benevolent intent will be assumed, by those that have
encountered a predominance of pleasurable experiences.
Without the ability to grasp the complete
context, malevolent intent will be assumed, by those that have
encountered a predominance of non-pleasurable experiences.
What is considered as pleasurable, or
non-pleasurable, is initially dependent upon the first presented
context, used to explain the first question that arises in the ignorant,
regardless of whether or not that explanation is accurate. For example:
if one is born into slavery, and
is given the explanation that everyone is suffering the same
conditions, it will be accepted as normal, even if a larger view would
indicate that not everyone is suffering the same conditions. This would
result in that ignorant saying that its experience is pleasurable. This
indicates a willingness to go along with the suffering, because "more
wise people" are doing the same for a good reason, apparently. The
ignorant "apparently" has not been inspired to look deeper, as to verify
for itself, the conditions it finds itself in. For now..
All is changeable. All evolve. Ignorance evolves
into wisdom. Perceptions change. People, and all entities, learn from
their mistakes. Context accumulates.
The oscillations, of ignorance, between the
extremes of idea, eventually leads to a filling in of the subtle
gradients, that connect the extremes of that idea.
The Goldilocks position is arrived at through this experience, for everyone and thing.
Abstract References: http://www.yinyoga.com/Newsletter_volume1.php , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldilocks_planet
Mankind, nor any other kind, are not meant to be
stuck on stupid. Life is not meant to be stagnant. Ignorance is not
meant to forever be ignorant.
Like the way an apprentice is to eventually
become the foreman, so does the wise move on to let the ignorant take
over when it is capable of doing so, that being when it has evolved from
its mistakes. It does not need a report card, a certificate of
completion, or any such crap. More like the bursting forth from seed..
~~~
The first experiences one has, become reference experiences, which future experiences are compared to.
Future experiences will be assumed to work out
the same way, even though the details of the present experience are not
exactly the same.
Ignorance has a hard time distinguishing the
details of an experience. Its awareness is a narrow focus of attention,
most likely due to the overwhelming sensations. This could be recognized
as a fearful condition. There is stress involved.
~~~
The feedback one is sensing during a particular
experience, can remind one of a past experience. This can inspire a
reaction, that is associated with the past experience, even though the
present experience is not the same as the past. It just appears similar.
~~~
Ignorance has a hard time wrapping its mind
around larger concepts. Jumps in contextual bandwidth (degrees of
perception - bird's eye view), for example: where water and food come
from, are outside the narrow focus of ignorance, and therefore, only
what is immediately in front of the superficial sensory input can be
grasped. All else is out of mental reach. Perceived scarcity of
resources, leads to fear of lack of those resources.
A thirsty man is desperate for a drink of water,
not to know how to drill a well. But it is best to teach a man how to
fish, than just giving him a single fish. Somewhere in the middle is
where the practical win-win situation works. To satiate the immediate
need, while asking if he would like to learn how to get a fish when he
needs it, and then teaching him, so he will not be dependent upon
another. That serves two purposes. One, is to not be subject to another.
Two, is to not burden anyone else, repeatedly.
~~~
The common perception of "pecking order" or
"survival of the fittest", tends to revolve around the idea of a
dominant entity overpowering lesser dominant entities. This usually
takes place in concern for access to perceived scarce resources.
pecking order = most violent
survival of the fittest = most violent
"Survival of the fittest" as an explanation, is an ignorance based judgement, of how things work.
It is one of the blind telling the other blind, what it thinks is the way things work.
It is an immature percept. It is what is able to
be grasped by the ignorant, due to its superficial analysis from
superficial observations.
The repeated use of that ignorant percept, as a basis for all present and future interactions, is to retard.
That continued use, does not help anyone evolve.
If you want to keep an entity ignorant, so that you can use and abuse it, as in: slavery, then keep on following that script.
~~~
It has been common, for the ignorance based
percept, to use the explanation/excuse of "survival of the fittest" or
"pecking order", as a tool to dominate others, for a variety of reasons, most of which revolve around superficial perceptions of scarcity of resources.
The dominance of one entity's desire over another entity's desire is at play.
This percept has a total disregard for the environmental condition that it is operating within.
When there is an abundance that surrounds two
entities competing for a "scarce" resource, there must be a blindness to
the reality of the existence of that abundance that surrounds the two
of them.
~~~
To say that "survival of the fittest" or "pecking order" provides for harmony in nature, is to be blind to reality.
Peace and harmony for who?
Is the lowest entity in the pecking order in a
state of harmony? Is the lowest entity in the pecking order in a
peaceful condition? Will peace be maintained? Will the lowest continue
to settle for unfulfilled desire? Will the lowest in the pecking order
never again attempt to strive for sustenance? How is that harmony or
peace in nature?
That is a total blindness to the reality of the
situation. Harmony or peace cannot be maintained from such a condition,
only discord comes from such a thing.
~~~
As an example: For a rancher, when horses
establish a pecking order, it appears to result in a condition of
harmony. It is for the rancher, but not for the lowest horse in the
pecking order. Neither is it for the dominant horse, which has to
continuously maintain that dominance. That is getting the herd to
self-police. That is not harmony or peace. That is the same as saying we
have to kill them over in their country, so that we can be safe in
ours. It is a lie. It is a total disregard for cause and effect. Not to
mention the potential abundance that is ever present, if only the
ignorant can see it as a possibility, and work toward changing its
behavior. In other words: one must choose to evolve. One must choose to
learn, for one's own benefit, as well as for the benefit of others. That
actually creates harmony. The better each individual is capable of
standing on its own, the more stable society becomes. Trying to
eliminate the enemy breeds more enemies. True peace and "security"
occurs when you have no enemies, due to eliminating the conflict, as
opposed to trying to eliminate the enemy.
Why "Survival of the Fittest" Is Wrong
http://io9.com/5988401/why-survival-of-the-fittest-is-wrong
You've probably heard it a million times in
descriptions of evolution and natural selection. Charles Darwin even
liked to say it. But the phrase "survival of the fittest" is wrong, and
understanding why can help us better understand what it means to be
human.
Survival's Origins
Darwin uses the phrase "survival of the
fittest" in chapter four of On the Origin of Species to describe the
process of natural selection. But he did not coin the phrase. It was
borrowed from English philosopher Herbert Spencer, who first talked
about survival of the fittest in his Principles of Sociology. "The term
'natural selection,'" wrote Darwin in The Origin, "is in some respects a
bad one, as it seems to imply conscious choice." Referring to the
process as "survival of the fittest," Darwin thought, helped clarify
things. But the famed naturalist's appropriated turn of phrase turned
out to be rather inappropriate, itself.
Princeton biological anthropologist Alan Mann
told io9 that in most cases, "survival of the fittest" has been replaced
by the term "reproduction of the fittest," or "differential selection."
This holds particularly true in discussions concerning mammals —
humans, especially. Mann says there are two main reasons for this.
One: for an organism to reproduce, it is
implied that it must first live long enough (i.e. survive) to do so. And
two: the phrase "survival of the fittest" paints a mental image of what
Mann characterizes as "the tooth and claw of bloody nature" — as though
every organism in a particular area is perpetually fighting for the
ability to survive. In this context, "fitness" can be misinterpreted as
an ideal evolutionary goal. "But Evolution acts to produce function, not
perfection" says Mann. Moreover, "fitness" should properly refer not so
much to characteristics like strength or speed, but rather an animal's
ability to produce viable offspring.
On Fish and Humans
Where a phrase like "survival of the fittest"
becomes relevant, says Mann, is in discussions about what is known in
ecology as "selection theory," or ideas about the trade-off between the
quantity and quality of an organism's offspring.
Fish, for example, can produce and fertilize
thousands of eggs during a mating session; but the number of fertilized
eggs that are eaten, killed, or die in some other way before reaching
sexual maturity is huge. This "make as many as you can" reproductive
strategy is called "r-selection." Large numbers of offspring are
produced, but the vast majority of them perish. And this strategy, says
Mann, does, in some ways, follow the concept of "survival" of the
fittest.
Why "Survival of the Fittest" Is Wrong
Say you have a newborn fish that is a prey
species to a larger, predacious fish. In most fish species, there is
little-to-no parental care, so that animal has predator-avoidance
behaviors built into its neurological system. When a young fish sees the
shadow of predator nearby, or feels the water current of a larger fish,
it begins to exhibit predator-avoidance behavior. For many fish, says
Mann, this means either swimming very fast, or swimming in a zig-zag
fashion. But of course, predacious fish have also evolved mechanisms to
catch prey. He continues:
So if the prey fish is going zig zag zig zag zig
zag, and the predator fish has evolved mechanisms to go zig zag zig zag
zig zag, that particular prey becomes lunch. If however there is a
biological variation, and instead of the prey fish join zig zag zig zag
zig zag, it goes zig zag zig zag zig zig, it lives another day. So, on
that level, survival of the fittest has some meaning.
Why "Survival of the Fittest" Is Wrong
But other animals, and mammals in particular,
employ a reproductive strategy dubbed "K-selection." They produce fewer
young, so their strategy is based on cultivating behaviors like
postnatal protection and nurturing. These learned behaviors ensure their
smaller number of offspring will reach reproductive maturity.
Human Behavior and Evolution
"Fitness" refers not to how long an organism
lives, but how successful it is at reproducing. And "survival of the
fittest" fails to encompass the subtleties of natural selection in
mammals, which Mann points out often involve learned behaviors.
"One of the things that's happened in human
evolution," he says, "is the time from birth to reproductive maturity
and adulthood has been prolonged." This, he continues, probably holds
true for most large-bodied mammals (think elephants, for example, or
great apes). "When you think about that kind of biological change, it's
really pretty difficult to understand, unless there is some adaptive
advantage in allowing the young to internalize more behaviors."
Why "Survival of the Fittest" Is Wrong
In other words, increasing the age of sexual
maturity makes little sense in the absence of some other evolutionary
adaptation that makes it possible for offspring to develop safely over a
longer period of time. This insight is crucial for understanding humans
(and, arguably, mammals in general) not just in a biological light, but
a cultural one, as well.
Consider, for example, that a typical pregnant
human usually gives birth to just one child, occasionally two, and very
rarely more than that. As a result, human parental investment in
offspring is huge. An infant is raised, often by more than one family
member, through a very long childhood development and dependency period.
This not only ensures that the offspring will reach reproductive
maturity, but that it has time to, as Mann puts it, "learn more
appropriate behaviors, become better socialized into their society, and
by this way become more successful and therefore capable of producing
more offspring of their own."
It's therefore likely that the behavioral
repertoires of humans, apes and other mammals have become remarkably
complex because of the adaptive advantage they've provided as the time
between birth and reproductive maturity has increased. On one hand, this
allows for evolutionary fitness to be maintained. At the same time,
however, it allows room for the possibility of sexually mature, adult
animals (who have very clearly "survived," to reproductive age) who do
not actually reproduce — once again highlighting the important
distinction between "survival" of the fittest and "reproduction" of the
fittest.
Among humans, not having children is often a
culturally motivated choice, rather than a biological limitation (though
both are often at play). People choose not to have children in order to
pursue a career, or to raise only a small number of children. Others
forego having children for so long that, when they finally decide to
conceive, they encounter complications during childbirth. Despite a
prolonged maturation period, these individuals are surviving to maturity
without a problem. Evolved social mechanisms have played a large part
in making that survival possible. But those same mechanisms can also
lead to humans not reproducing, in which case their biological fitness
would be considered to be very low.
Ultimately, "survival of the fittest" is necessary, but not always sufficient, for the survival of the species.
~~~
In other words: greater time between birth of
the offspring and sexual intercourse of that offspring, allows for more
learning to be handed down to the next offspring. More learning = better
choices = better chance of survival.
Dominant behavior towards an entity can only
piss off that entity, enough to inspire that entity to put down the
dominant one, to make life easier for one's self and offspring.
Again I ask myself, what is the benefit of
enslaving another? If you want to eat out its substance, then just get
on with it, and kill it, ..or die trying to.
Then there is the desire to have a pet. A forced friendship. Forced "family" fun? Yeah, that always works..
Are we there yet?

...the Piri Reis map
[is] a genuine document that was re-made (copied from older documents)
at Constantinople in AD 1513, and discovered in 1929. It focuses on the
western coast of Africa, the eastern coast of South America, and the
northern coast of Antarctica. It was drawn by the military intelligence
of Admiral Piri Reis of the Ottoman era. He is a well-known historical
figure whose identity is well established. The Admiral made a copy of
it, and the original was drawn based on documents that date back to at
least the fourth century BC, and on information obtained by multiple
explorers.
Why The Map Is So Compelling
Right off the bat, one of the most compelling facts about the map is that it includes a continent that our history books tell us was not discovered until 1818.
Secondly, the map depicts what is known as
“Queen Maud Land,” a 2.7 million-square-kilometer (1 million sq mi)
region of Antarctica as it looked millions of years ago. This region and
other regions shown on the map are thought to have been covered
completely in ice, but the map tells a different story.
It shows this area as ice free, which suggests that these areas passed
through a long ice-free period which might not have come to an end until
approximately six thousand years ago, which again, totally goes against
what is taught and currently believed. Today, geological evidence has
confirmed that this area could not have been ice-free until about 4000
BC.
Official science has been saying all along that
the ice-cap which covers the Antarctic is millions of years old. The
Piri Reis map shows that the northern part of that continent has been
mapped before the ice did cover it. This means that it was mapped a
million years ago, but that’s impossible, since mankind did not exist at
that time. Quite the conundrum isn’t it?

Newly Defined Disease is Found to be Widespread and Highly Contagious . . .
February, 2015 - Doctors at the CDC have released a
statement this month disclosing a new disease that has already infected over
half of the United States and is anticipated to continue to spread. The
disease itself affects the cells of a person’s entire body then goes
dormant. The disease ravages the body and leaves serious side effects.
These side effects have been deemed “post Islamic stress
trauma with apologetic war fatigue”.
Symptoms include:
• Severe pain of the scalp from pulling
your own hair while viewing our President pander to Muslim terrorists.
• Uncontrollable heartburn at 8:00 pm
during the O’Reilly factor.
• Loose bowels from swallowing the fact we
elected Obama twice.
• Extreme hunger due to vomiting from
nightly seeing Muslims murdering innocent people.
• Bleeding from the eyes. This
is not Ebola. It is your eyes reacting to accidentally flipping to a
channel that shows Al Sharpton as a legitimate news show host.
• Since the disease consumes the entire
body, every infected person is then identified as the disease itself.
The
official designation for “post Islamic stress trauma with apologetic war
fatigue” is PIST-AWF. If you feel you are PIST-AWF, please notify your
local election board and place your name on the list for a cure. It is
expected the cure will be available in November of 2016 and will be offered by a
credible conservative candidate.

Soon after taking office [as Alabama governor in 1963]
Wallace embarked on a national speaking tour. It was coverage of his
speech at UCLA that brought Wallace to my attention. By then Wallace had
refined his message. His speech was essentially a warning against the
unbridled power of a central government.
He stressed the need for open debate and adherence to constitutional checks and balances.
He strongly supported property and individual rights as well as
seniority rights within trade unions. Wallace was strongly opposed to
the pending Civil Rights Act of 1963 as a usurpation of those God given
individual rights in the name of human rights and favored by social
engineers and the liberal press. In response to questions regarding his positions and the charge of racism he stated:
“In my public life I have never
made a single solitary remark that reflected on any man because of his
race, color, creed or national origin. God loves all of us. Segregation
serves the interest of both groups…I supported the largest Negro trade
school in the south, and served two years on the chair of Tuskegee
Institute…Also opened eight new trade schools and junior colleges,…a
solution to train Negros for jobs and a good standard of living... civil
rights is not a moral issue it is political. If they cared about
morality they would address the far greater Indian problem, but there
are not enough left to form a voting bloc. As for the Civil Rights Act
he said it would take a police state to enforce it.“

Unspoken Truths: Rabbit Season, Duck Season
Unspoken Truths
http://www.rense.com/general96/unspokentruths.html
By Jim Kirwan
2-24-15
2-24-15
The purpose of the ‘Quest’ is to frustrate the
armored fist of ‘Conquest’ that has been trying to rule the world for
centuries. Today the world is facing the supposed “invincibility” of the
fascist police state worldwide; as an indisputable fact of life. That’s
a flat out lie: Because there are circumstances that have become part
of the Dirtiest Secret of them all: Which has always been here but which
has not yet been mentioned, at least not publicly.
“When the global-axe comes down everything here will change”
That’s the supposition but what will happen
includes an entire series of events that have still not become part of
any equation, at least not in public, because the fake-powers atop the
global-media are terrified of what could and probably will happen, once
that threatened axe actually falls on the US population that has been
ignoring all the facts for at least the last fifteen years.
Much has been made of the private mercenaries
that are protecting everything from the politicians, the bankers and the
government, which have targeted all of us for prison, torture or
obliteration.
This “fear” is the one thing that is never
publicly discussed because no one wants to think about what could happen
to them and to everything they have, if and when this unspeakable event
actually succeeds in turning the public into permanent captives of this
global-cabal.
This will only happen if “Resistance” is not
embraced; either before or after U.S. Incorporated decides to initiate
their fully criminal pogroms against the people of the USA.
This is what SUBMISSION ~ DEFIANCE looks like now.
This conundrum has remained unexplored so far
as the actual conditions that already exist, among the criminally
employed mercenaries are concerned. Those that are “guarding” the
outlaws definitely know that their employers are the real targets who
will be “at risk”: from the second they decide to go the last few miles
to shatter the last of the façade, which is all that’s kept everyone in
place and “playing” with the current pretense of still having a country.
That concept clearly died a very long time ago. This is one of the
basic conditions we must reverse if we are to survive the next few
months: Actual RESISTANCE must commence...
This much some people have been discussing, but
they have not factored in the reality behind the fascist police-state
that we’re currently living in.
Part of these unspoken truths involves the
professional killers that are employed to protect all those who should
have been arrested years ago. The ordinary people have either forgotten,
or have never really known, that these ‘professionals’ have no loyalty
to any cause or to anything except to money.
Consequently these mercenaries for hire are
constantly evaluating where their greatest ‘fortunes’ are; while they
continue to assess their positions in
this continually shifting, yet still undeclared War upon the people of
the old United States. There has never been any ‘honor among either
thieves or murderers, which is especially true as we move into the next
phase of this globally-criminal event.
What has not been collectively considered is
that the hired-guns, whether in uniform or not, are not creatures that
will stay purchased by whatever they are being paid in their current status,
no matter who they work for. This is one of the things that those in
positions of fake-power have always underestimated when they set out to
kill all the rest of us. As long as things remain as they are, most of
those doing the security details, will more than likely remain where
they are: But each and every one of them will always continue to
reevaluate and reassess their own personal situations, as things change.
When it benefits them to wear the uniform they
will do that. But when that becomes a real problem, they will dump the
uniform and change course, as things actually begin to threaten their
employers: Whether that’s the criminal government, the bankers or the
politicians: because in reality none of the Outlaws that have done this
to us all, are actually safe from the same creatures they have hired to
protect “them” from “us”.
A typical scenario might involve working for
something like a John McCain: The creature that doesn’t even know how
many “homes” he owns. Once McCain’s positions begin to be permanently
threatened, it’s likely that his ‘security detail” might just decide to
take whatever they can steal and split: Leaving the Senator to face the
mobs, by himself.
This is but one of thousands of continuing
situations both in the government and the world of privatized-theft
incorporated, in the corporate world that will very soon have to be
reevaluated again and again; as situations get closer to confronting a
public that is moving from semi-passive to angry and determined people.
Anyone who knows anything about the world of the
dark-side, knows these facts intuitively, by the simple fact that
they’re out there and have survived it all before—no doubt several times
themselves. Because of this fact, the Outlaws in place now have not yet
dared to push this public further—yet!
This is no longer about basically criminal
actions as these have been routinely engaged in by virtually everyone at
the top of every government agency, private illegal-business or the
corporate-traitors that have been running this place for over a hundred
years. The second tier of crooked lawyers, cops, judges, and everyone
else all the way down to bent reporters, local mayor’s, members of
criminal boards of supervisors: Everyone that has found the criminal way
of life to be irresistible to keep their broken lives alive. A great
many of those creatures have always depended on the power of those they are protecting, to protect them as well—which of course will not happen.
The fake-powers that would be, do not share,
especially not when it comes to their underlings that can’t protect
themselves. But most of the greedy and thoughtless blood-suckers that
have made a way of life out of feeding off the public, will not see this
coming either, until it’s too late for them to escape from a truly
aroused public Those coming moments will look like what happened when
the townspeople discovered the existence of Frankenstein, just before
they chased him down with torches to end his days.
The difference in the world of today is that the
people will not be coming with pitchforks, no. They’ll be coming armed
and once they finally see the handwriting on the wall, they will not
stop until every part of this crime has been answered for, throughout
what they’ve been doing for the last fifty years. Faced with that
reality the mercenaries will be fleeing for their lives, after they’ve
killed their former employers and taken whatever they can into the
wilderness to try and escape what will be roaming this land, in search
of survivors
This is not fiction: We have to begin to choose LIFE over mere EXISTENCE.
This is what’s about to happen as the Outlaws
continue to force the nightmare to come ever closer to the lives of all
those that have already been targeted in every way possible, without
actually arresting us for treason, against the illegal fascist
police-state which is still trying to kill 95% of the population in the
old United States.
The dirty cops have always known that this, or a
variation of it, is true. They know that no matter where they live
people know who they are and that they are part of this continuing
crime. These creatures are nothing but minor actors, chess pieces
supposedly protected by mercenaries: But they too will be shot once
they’re no longer needed just as Hitler eliminated the Brown Shirts once
they were no longer needed. The puppet in the Tarnished House doesn’t
give a damn about them or much of anything else either: Because he’s
insane and will also be eliminated once he’s no longer needed. In fact
this entire House of Dirty-Cards was designed to disappear once the
money and the government are no longer needed.
The problem with that is that no one can
actually tell, when or if whatever has been scheduled to take place,
will actually be ordered. And part of the reason for that is that
several of the above mentioned possibilities really do exist.
Everyone in the criminal but ordained political
world is well aware of the fact that this is the case and that’s why
they still have not chosen to drop that axe they’ve been preparing to
use, with extreme-prejudice against the entire nation.
Those of us who have been living our own lives
for the entire time we’ve been here know about the inner workings of the
criminal side of life here. It’s unfortunate that more people are not
yet aware of how the blackmail, the tyranny and the treason are really
affected, by the shabby actions of the failed players that are trying to
run what’s left of this dying place: But because we are nearing the end
of this charade, it’s far more likely that many more individuals will
very soon join in opposing the passive submission being demanded from us
all, by those that have always hated the entire human race.
Now that this sordid series of facts is becoming
public: Many might want to stave off the unthinkable for just a while
longer—but that’s not what needs to happen. If there are to be any
future generations then we must do what we have to date failed to do: We
need to go on the offensive, in every dark corner where the criminals
still think they might be “safe”.
Let them begin to sweat for a change because we
know exactly how vulnerable they have always been: And now we can
finally take full advantage of those vulnerabilities to take the rats
down permanently

Hillary Clinton Blames ‘Different Media’ For Dividing Country
HAhahahahahahahahahahahaaha

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
complained that “different media” are dividing the country, making it
impossible for people to even have a conversation with each other.
Clinton made her remarks yesterday in an
interview with Re/Code’s Kara Swisher. She criticized America’s
“partisan bunkers” for getting in the way of confronting tough issues
like racism, sexism and homophobia.
“Nobody wants to associate with anybody who
doesn’t agree with them politically,” she said. “You can’t have a
conversation, people won’t listen to each other, they listen to
different media, and those different media (outlets) tell different
stories about the very same thing that you’re watching unfold in front
of your eyes.”
The lack of common ground, Clinton asserted, was making it more difficult to get things done politically.
“You cannot run a great country like that, and
this is the greatest country and it’s time we start acting like it and
working like it again,” she said.
After waging partisan battles in the White House
as First Lady, Clinton explained that she learned to be less partisan
when she was elected a senator from New York.
“When I worked in the Senate I was very much
somebody who would work across the aisle, look for opportunities to do
that,” she said. “Because I don’t think I have all the right ideas, I
don’t think my party has all the right ideas.”

TOTAL WORLD DEBT EXCEEDS 223 TRILLION
With the US Debt now at 18 Trillion, it is probably impossible to sell everything "from sea to shining sea" in order to get out of debt.
The amount that is owed is, in an unusual way, probably keeping America
from being forced to pay it totally off for if that were possible,
would not the true creditors loose their power and control? Remember,
Credit=Debt=Slavery.
Now it has been determined that the total world debt exceeds 223 Trillion. Google "223 Trillion" and see what you get!

With such unreal astronomical numbers, change is not only necessary, change is a must.

Evil Assad, Evil Gaddafi, Now Evil Putin: How the West Sells War (and Makes a Killing)
As
the conflict in Ukraine persists and as peace talks between Putin and
western European leaders (Merkel and Hollande) continue, it is important
to look at the economic actors/interests that benefit from conflict and
regime change in the Ukraine and how this compares to situations like
Syria, Libya and Iraq. There are under-reported angles and interests to
these conflicts that we hear little about in western mainstream media
and that many do not look for because they are too caught up in
political or human dramas. For instance, mainstream media spend so much
time demonizing a single enemy, be it Putin in the Ukraine situation,
Assad in Syria, Gaddafi in Libya or Saddam Hussein in Iraq, etc., that
they do not also critically explore how external actors may exploit or
bolster such conflicts and situations in order to secure
politic-economic motives such as access to oil, making way for
destructively conditional IMF loans, or quashing domestic policies that
undermine foreign imperial and economic interests.
In western media, a dangerously false binary
exists; wherein opposition to western imperial and corporate agendas for
a particular region equals support for “evil men” like Putin or
Gaddafi, for instance. This is part of what I call distraction politics
or conflation politics, where opposition to neoliberal and imperial
policies—such as IMF loans with austerity conditions that devastate and
impoverish a nation, its people and its agriculture—is conflated with
support for certain tyrants (as defined by the west).
In the case of regime change and concomitant
conflict in Ukraine, western media is so fixated on the demonization of
Russian President Vladimir Putin over annexation of Crimea that little
attention is being given to what JP Sottile calls “the corporate
annexation of Ukraine.” Commenting on the economic plan for the country
Sottile notes that, “for American companies like Monsanto, Cargill and
Chevron, there’s a gold mine of profits to be made from agri-business and energy exploitation.”
Some European lawmakers view the Ukraine conflict as a smokescreen to allow the IMF/World Bank/European Bank
for Reconstruction financed agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology
business to steal Ukraine’s highly valued and coveted farmland. The
distraction politics around the conflict in Ukraine—e.g., the west
versus the evil Vladimir Putin—hides the reality of massive farmland
seizures that will greatly enrich western agribusiness corporations
while ushering in poisonous policies and practices such as GMO crops.
With Yanukovych ousted, the new government in Ukraine has agreed to
austerity reforms in exchange for IMF and World Bank “aid.” In addition
to the devastating impact these reforms will have on poverty levels and
Ukrainians’ standard of living, the austerity measures will also allow
western agribusiness corporations to side-step Europe’s hitherto tight
restrictions on GMO production. As Lendman explains Ukraine has long
been considered Europe’s “bread basket.” “It’s rich dark soil is highly
valued” and “ideal for growing grain.” With one third of Europe’s
agricultural farmland, Ukraine’s agricultural potential is vast, making
it an ideal target for western agribusiness giants that seek to amass
massive economic wealth through altering and poisoning the food supply
of the region. For many analysts these economic prospects underlie the
Ukraine conflict.
This is somewhat reminiscent of the economic
motives for the 2003 US invasion of Iraq and the “war on terror.” It is
now widely known that the Bush administration lied about Saddam
Hussein—the US’s former ally and partner in (war) crime turned public
enemy number one—having weapons of mass destruction in order to have a
pretext to invade the country. As I explain in an upcoming book, the
motives for war on Iraq were overwhelmingly economic, with US
mega-corporations winning massive contracts—largely paid for by US tax
payers—to “rebuild” a country (i.e., infrastructure, privatizations of
public services, etc) the US military had just destroyed. In addition to
development contracts, massive profits were made by US oil and oilfield
services firms such as Halliburton and Chevron. Halliburton alone,
which was once CEO-ed by none other than former vice president Dick
Cheney, reportedly made $39.5 billion on the Iraq War.
Similarly, NATO’s involvement in Libya was
largely for economic reasons. Like Saddam, Gaddafi was an ally—and
former foe—of the west that fell back out of favour before the 2011
rebellion against him. While the US hypocritically claimed that NATO’s
involvement in Libya was humanitarian, many analysts feel it had more to
do with oil and protecting the global monetary system. Indeed,
as Newman explains, Gaddafi’s regime went from a “a model” and an
“important ally” of the west to an enemy and target of regime change in a
period of just a few years. This sudden shift in popularity may have
something to do with Gaddafi’s plan “to quit selling Libyan oil in U.S.
dollars — a plan that would be “especially devastating for the U.S.
economy and the American dollar.”
Similarly, is has been noted that the plan for
intervention in Syria was/is fueled by oil interests, not humanitarian
concerns. In his comprehensive analysis of the situation, Nafeez Ahmed
explains that violence and the killing of civilians—by either side of
the conflict—is “being exploited for narrow geopolitical competition to
control Mideast oil” and gas pipelines. His report draws on numerous
official sources, including leaked government documents, retired NATO
officials and former French foreign minister Roland Dumas, to
demonstrate how the situation in Syria is tied to long-standing western
desires to secure control over Middle East oil and pipelines, with the
US-UK training Syrian opposition forces since 2011 in order to elicit
collapse of the Syrian regime “from within.”
While a western oil grab is a major factor in
Iraq, Libya and Syria (in addition to protecting the dollar and European
banks, in the case of Libya), in Ukraine it is largely about land grabs
and western agribusiness’ GMO plans—ushered in through a $17 billion
conditional IMF loan—for the rich and fertile soil of the country. It is
interesting to note, as Joyce Nelson of the Ecologist does, that in
late 2013, then president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, rejected a
European Union association agreement tied to a $17 billion IMF loan,
opting instead for a Russian aid package worth $15 billion plus a
discount on Russian natural gas. As Nelson explains, “his decision was a
major factor in the ensuing deadly protests that led to his ouster from
office in February 2014 and the ongoing crisis.” This means that the
present-day IMF loan—and its voracious economic conditions—was on the
table before the ouster of former president Yanukovych, and that regime
change in the country conveniently made it possible for the loan to take
hold.
In addition to opening up Ukraine’s rich
farmland to western agribusiness giants and GMO production, IMF loans
typically come with strict economic restructuring conditions in the form
of structural adjustment programs (SAPs). These programs essentially
force the borrowing nation to restructure its economy by cutting public
spending and subsidies in areas such as employment, income support,
health and education as well as privatizing (previously accessible)
services such as health. If these IMF conditions are applied in Ukraine,
it will devastate and impoverish the country.
Such important politico-economic issues and
agendas in Ukraine are rarely covered at length, if at all, in western
mainstream media. As the conflict in Ukraine continues and as western
mainstream media focus mainly on the human and political dramas of the
conflict and the Minsk 2 ceasefire agreement, one can only hope the
people of Ukraine will not suffer the same long-term political and
economic fate as the people of Iraq, Syria or Libya.
