AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas lawmakers on Friday approved carrying handguns openly on the streets of the nation's second most-populous state, sending the bill to Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who immediately promised to sign it and reverse a ban dating to the post-Civil War era.

Gun owners would still have to get a license to carry a handgun in a visible holster.

The state known for its wild west, cowboy history and some the nation's most relaxed gun laws, has allowed concealed handguns for 20 years. Concealed handgun license holders are even allowed to skip the metal detectors at the state Capitol, as state troopers providing security assume they're armed.

But Texas was one of only six states with an outright ban on so-called open carry, and advocates have fought to be allowed to keep their guns in plain sight. Cast as an important expansion of the Second Amendment right to bear arms in the U.S. Constitution, it became a major issue for the state's strong Republican majority.

"We think of Texas being gun happy, but we didn't afford our citizens the same rights most other states do," said Rep. Larry Phillips, a Republican from Sherman, one of the bill's authors.

The House gave final approval on a mostly party-line 102-43 vote, drawing gleeful whistles from some lawmakers. A short time later, the Senate passed it 20-11, also along party lines, with all Republicans supporting it and all Democrats opposing.

Within minutes of the bill passing, Abbott sent a Twitter message that he'll sign it. "Next Destination: My Pen," Abbot tweeted.

The bill passed after lawmakers made concessions to law enforcement groups, who had been upset by an original provision that barred police from questioning people carrying guns if they have no other reason to stop them.

The final bill scrapped that language, meaning police will be able to ask Texans with handguns in plain sight if they have proper licenses.

Before Friday's vote, police groups had demanded that Abbott veto the bill if it wasn't taken out.

Gun control advocates have argued that open carry is less about personal protection than intimidation. Gun rights groups have staged several large public rallies in recent years, sometimes at notable historical landmarks such as the Alamo, where members carried rifles in plain sight, which is legal.

The open carry debate also stirred drama at the Capitol early in the legislative session, when gun rights advocates confronted one state lawmaker in his office. The lawmaker, Democrat Poncho Nevarez, was assigned a state security detail and House members voted to make it easier to install panic buttons in their offices.
"This session has been an alarming show of politicking that caters to a gun lobby agenda," Sandy Chasse with the Texas Chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. "As a gun-owning Texas mom, this is not the Texas I want for my family or community."
Just like the current concealed handgun law, the bill requires anyone wanting to openly carry a handgun to get a license. Applicants must be 21, pass a background check and receive classroom and shooting range instruction — although lawmakers have weakened those requirements since 2011.
Texas has about 850,000 concealed handgun license holders, a number that has increased sharply d in recent years.
It also recognizes the concealed handgun licenses issued in more than 40 states, and license holders from those states will be allowed to openly carry their weapons in Texas once it becomes law.
"I have great faith in our concealed license holders that they will do the right thing and carry their gun appropriately," said Sen. Craig Estes, the Wichita Falls Republican who sponsored the measure in that chamber.

Democrats such as Sen. Rodney Ellis of Houston said they fear violence on the streets.

"I hope we don't have a host of Texans running around with a Rambo mentality," Ellis said.

Economic Collapse is inevitable. The only question is when and how will it all go down. Those in positions of power throughout the world have been manipulating currencies and devaluing them in the process. Now a report is out from economist Martin Armstrong, in which he claims that there is to be a “secret meeting to end cash” in London by the end of the month, which involves representatives from the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve. However, Armstrong warns that there is much more than just an economic collapse coming.

Armstrong wrote:

I find it extremely perplexing that I have been the only one to report of the secret meeting in London. Kenneth Rogoff of Harvard University, and Willem Butler, the Chief Economist at Citigroup, will address the central banks to advocate the elimination of all cash to bring to fruition the day when you cannot buy or sell anything without government approval.

When I googled the issue to see who else has picked it up, to my surprise, Armstrong Economics comes up first. Others are quoting me, and I even find it spreading as far as the Central Bank of Nigeria, but I have yet to find any reports on the meeting taking place in London, when my sources are direct.

Keep in mind that Armstrong was the man who successfully predicted the 1987 Black Monday crash and also the Russian financial collapse in 1998.

“Other newspapers who have covered my European tour have stated that the ‘crash’ of which I speak is the typical stock market, rather than a crash in government,” he wrote. “What is concerning me is the silence on this meeting, when there are more and more reports claiming a cashless society would be better.”

So, he is not only seeing a financial crash ahead, but is also seeing the collapse of government in general. This is exactly why people need to be prepared and helping to prepare others for what is coming.

“If we look at the turning points on the ECM, yes, they have been to the day when there has been a concentration of capital in a particular market,” he added. “However, it has also picked the turning points in political decisions, such as the formation of the G5 with 1985.65, the very day Greece asked for help from the IMF in 2010, to the day of 9/11.”

Paul Joseph Watson also reminds us of previous, recent talks of this nature. He writes:

Discussions and moves towards banning cash have repeatedly cropped up in recent weeks.

Willem Buiter, who Armstrong claims is speaking at the secret meeting, recently advocated abolishing cash altogether in order to “solve the world’s central banks’ problem with negative interest rates.”

Last year, Kenneth Rogoff also called for “abolishing physical currency” in order to stop “tax evasion and illegal activity” as well as preventing people from withdrawing money when interest rates are close to zero.

Striking a similar tone, former Bank of England economist Jim Leaviss penned an article for the London Telegraph earlier this month in which he said a cashless society would only be achieved by “forcing everyone to spend only by electronic means from an account held at a government-run bank,” which would be, “monitored, or even directly controlled by the government.”

Michael Snyder has asked the question of whether Greece, who is now facing default, is going to face the same fate as the people of Cyprus as they had their bank accounts raided in 2013.

This is all serious business as it is a warning to both the US and the EU of what is just around the corner for us, given our allowance of Central Banks to exist and print fiat paper money in violation of the US Constitution. These steps have allowed them to steal the wealth of the citizens of their prospective countries and in doing so, shackle those same citizens with the burden of the debt. Now, it looks like it’s time to pay the piper.

This cashless society will ultimately render full control of people as their money, purchases and sales will be controlled by a centralized government.

Armstrong warns, “We better keep one eye open at night for this birth of a cashless society that is coming in much faster than expected. Why the secret meeting? Something does not smell right here.”

Michael Krieger echoes Armstrong’s sentiments as he writes, “In the mind of an economic tyrant, banning cash represents the holy grail. Forcing the plebs onto a system of digital fiat currency transactions offers total control via a seamless tracking of all transactions in the economy, and the ability to block payments if an uppity citizen dares get out of line.”

This morning the man in charge of Russian Natural Gas Pipeline Manufacturing was shot with ripples throughout Russia as their Congress (Dumas) took action to ban "Hit Man" adds across Russia.

China, mighty China - Home of the Red Dragon and Golden Dragon Families. Now you will watch the hand of GOD reach across China, and you will not like what HE sows.

You should have done as GOD asked earlier. Now, since you did not listen to HIS message through HIS messenger, now HE will have to speak to your leadership.

Over the last 10 years Russia has made some tremendous progress towards recovering their mineral rights and taking back much of their industry from the Rothchilds mega monopoly that spans the globe.


One area Russia has made tremendous progress is in the oil pipeline manufacturing arena - investing around $1 Billion US Dollars throughout their infrastructure.

Today, the Russian oil giant Gazprom is planning and building a natural gas pipeline through Turkey and Greece and in to central Europe to deliver natural gas to most of Southern Europe. (NOTE: Perhaps this is the main reason the cabal U.S.A. corporation has unlawfully interfered in the affairs of Russia, the Ukraine and Turkey???)


The current pipeline orders are coming 50% from Germany (built by the Marshall Plan,still in effect) and 50% from Russian manufacturers - 35% OMK, 15% Severstal.

The pipeline is 613MM in diameter and can handle up to 250 Autmospheres and is seamless - very high quality.

The US Embassy in Moscow apparently hired a hit man and the Director of the OMK Pipeline Manufacuring Factory was shot this morning by a very aggressive gunman. He was apparently shot in the abdomen and shoulder and is alive in intensive care in a local hospital. He apparently refused to destroy his companies production facilities or sabotage the pipeline manufacturing plant.

This "hit" occurring only a few days after Secretary of State Dumb Dumb John Kerry visited with a Putin Double. Go figure.

There will be a retaliation - but to what extent - when and where - - - but be assured the Russians will respond in a very strong way for the unprovoked attempt to kill this 40 year old Russian Director of KOMPLEKROSKOI-GROUP Oil Pipeline Manufacturing Division.

Military IDs With SS# No Longer Valid

The US Military ID Cards with Social Security numbers are now invalid.

The excuse is that there are data breaches and la, la, la.

The reality is that the Social Security department is about to go away - period - and the DOD wants it's retirees to be taken care of.

In fact - many companies and agencies dealing with money and ID cards are going through huge changes at the moment, so expect anything in terms of bank accounts, credit cards, etc.

Here is what happened to a guy who served in the US Navy for 40 years:

My wife's dependent ID card expired last April. She discovered this when she tried to invoke Tricare as secondary insurance and it was denied. My ID card had "INDEF" on the expiration date.

I went to the Draper National Guard center where the nearest DEERS contact was located and was told several things.

1. My ID card was considered invalid because it had my Social Security number on it.  ID theft, SSN, yada, yada, yada. I was issued a new one with a "DOD ID Number" in place of the SSN.

2. The DEERS rep set my ID card to expire in a year when I turn 65, and my wife's a few years later when she turns 65. At that time we will automatically be put on Medicare A and B and enrolled in "Tricare For Life."

I found this out by accident. 

Please send this warning to all retirees you know. Tell them if they still have their SSN on their ID card, it needs to be replaced.  In a few years DEERS might not know who they are without a new DOD ID number.

They Are Preparing For Something Huge – Walmart, Jade Helm, USNORTHCOM ‘Critical Infrastructure’ Flashback – The Stampede Of The Trojan Horse Herd Is Now Underway!!!

There are a lot of people hearing alarm bells going off in their heads with the recent announcement of multiple Walmart Supercenters closing, all at once, in multiple states (some of which are states being prepared for the Jade Helm military exercises), all claiming a “plumbing” issue, with recent news of some type of underground tunnel projects involving Walmart and DHS.
Further research and a connection of dots, much like putting the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle together, shows a terrifying picture emerging as each new piece is added, where we see a definite China connection, Walmart and Caterpillar both shuttering facilities, and both listed by USNORTHCOM in 2009 as part of a “critical infrastructure”  as part of their disaster response coordination.
Joe Catalino, USNORTHCOM Chief of Private Sector Operations, Interagency Coordination Directorate, discussed his role in working with agencies and private-sector companies. The Interagency Coordination Directorate works directly with private corporations like Wal-Mart and Caterpillar to list resources and services available when they are needed…..
Over the last year Caterpillar has shuttered multiple facilities with the claim of consolidation, and now some Walmart facilities are closing in Florida, California, Texas,  and Oklahoma, with no notice given to employees, citing “plumbing issues,” yet major news outlets report that no permits had been applied for by Walmart for future repairs.
A look into the Walmart Distribution Network Center for the United States shows that as of the start of 2013, between their distribution centers and retail space within the United States, Walmart’s real estate is approximately 838 million Square feet, which is nearly 1.3 times larger than Manhattan.

Via a forwarded email, ANP was asked to research more about Walmart general merchandize distribution center locations in comparison to “Foreign Trade Zones,” sponsored by The Rockefeller Group, Miller and Co., Zone Solutions LLC,  QuestaWeb, Inc., Integration Point, as shown on the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones (NAFTZ) page. Foreign Trade Zones is described by Wiki as “a geographical area, in (or adjacent to) a United States Port of Entry, where commercial merchandise, both domestic and foreign receives the same Customs treatment it would if it were outside the commerce of the United States.”

The email stated “How many of the Walmarts are in or near the FTZ’s –  Answer – ALOT OF THEM
When comparing the two maps above, the answer is not just a lot of them, but almost all of them.
In a previous ANP article we quoted a former military man as stating via email “Walmart’s are outfitted with extensive communications, communications that are identical from store to store and even country to country,” stating he believes “the primary purpose for Walmart’s, similar stores and malls will be for supply depots for military and initial staging area for local civilians to be processed (clothes ID’s etc.), then moved to sanctuary’s/FEMA camps after processing.” He continues on to point out “the delivery entrances and storage are already set up.”
A former Navy Seal also shares his take on the underground tunnels recently reported on, stating “The tunnels are already in place. they are using the 6 months, which brings us into September, to clear the places out and configure them for supply depots, communication hubs and pre-processing centers.”
In that article we show a Chinese connection to the Jade Helm operations set to take place from July to September and the Walmart closings, stating:
“The China connection could be very important if we look at the big picture, see the US Dollar is at the high end of the scale of how long any nation keeps it’s world reserve currency status, the amount of money we owe China, the amount of land China already owns in the US, the push to replace the Dollar with the RMB, their recent successes in getting many US allies to join their China-led investment bank, and the 2012 call by China to disarm Americans.”In 2011 there were eye witness accounts, starting with a trucker delivering food into Mexico, who told Steve Quayle he witnessed Chinese troops amassing close to the border, stating that there were also 10,000 armored vehicles as well. That account matches up with rumors going back as far as 1998 about Chinese soldiers in Mexico.
If these accounts are true, then the elites have been planning America’s demise for a very long time.OTHER PREPARATIONS BEING MADE
Keeping all the aforementioned in mind, there are other preparations being made, all parts of this large puzzle, all reported separately, but may very well all be connected, such as the recent news of NORAD and the Pentagon moving their communications equipment to Stargate Mountain, the cold-war era Cheyenne Mountain bunker that’s naturally EMP-hardened Colorado to be used as a command center, and the NY Fed bulking up their Chicago citing they are wary of  “a natural disaster or other eventuality could shut down its market operations as it approaches an interest rate hike,” according to Reuters.
There is also news of the Department of Homeland Security is set to purchase over 62 million rounds of ammo typically used in AR-15 semi-automatic rifles, just weeks after the ATF was forced to back down on a ban on M855 bullets, as shown in the Alex Jones video below.
BOTTOM LINE
With the massive military movements being seen and documented, the planned Jade Helm exercises, the WMD drills in Iowa, marines practicing drills at sports parks, the Florida martial law roundup drill, and more…. in conjunction with the bizarre Walmart closings, the Chinese connections and now the underground tunnels, along with the DHS and USNORTHCOM connections established to Walmarts and other such facilities, topped off with the NORAD, Pentagon and Federal Reserve actions, all happening right now, it appears events are accelerating and “they” are preparing for something huge to down.
From the nature of the news and headlines being seen, it appears that rather than a terrorist attack, or a nuclear weapon, or some natural disaster, what they are preparing for is an economic event that will be devastating.
Some believe they are prepping for chaos, China calling in their debt when the dollar is replaced as the world’s reserve currency, expecting martial law will be declared and Americans prepared to fight back against a total lockdown, will be rounded up and “processed” accordingly using what the USNORTHCOM calls their “critical infrastructure” facilities.
This would also explain the numbers projected by Deagel.com, based on sources from the US government, showing there will be a 78 percent population drop in 2025 compared to 2015, stating they expect the “death toll will be horrible.”
Since it appears the US government plans to use our own military to wage war on Americans, we’ll end this with a Prophecy given to Steve Quayle – Februray 6, 2011, which addresses those military and law enforcement members.

Explain why so many of these murders were described as suicides by the coroner.
Find out who appointed the coroner.

Move forwards about 12 hours, and we now see a very rare 3.4M earthquake has struck South Illinois towards the Indiana border in the EXACT area warned, for the exact magnitude warned. _________ This is proof earthquakes can indeed be forecast to issue warnings for small regions over a specific time.
