RESIDENTS IN ST LOUIS DYING IN RECORD NUMBERS FROM WORLD WAR II RADIOACTIVE WASTE

In 2011, residents across an American community in St Louis began to notice a chain of inexplicably high incidents of cancer and disease across its population.

For decades, both former and current residents from approximately 90 municipalities in the Missouri city were diagnosed with a long list of life-threatening illnesses, including leukemia, lupus, brain tumours, appendix cancer, multiple sclerosis, birth defects and many more. People died. Babies died. And they’re still dying to this day, dubbed “the poison children of Coldwater Creek.”  But no one ever connected the dots as to what was really making these innocent people sick.

“You’ll never forget the moment they tell you, ‘We found lesions on your lung and your liver,’” Mary Oscko, who has stage 4 lung cancer, told CBS News.  “My husband and I had to sit down at night and discuss whether I want to be cremated or buried. I don’t want to be buried in North County, that’s the one thing I told him — I do not want to be buried where this soil is.”

In 1942, during the height of World War II, a corporation by the name of Mallinckrodt Chemical Works was hired by the US government to process uranium for the development of the world’s first nuclear weapons. The operation was dubbed ‘The Manhattan Project.’  Based in St Louis, it was here that the atomic bomb was born. That same bomb would be responsible for destroying Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 at the end of the Second World War. Those two bombs killed at least 150,000 people by the end of that year (without taking into account long term radiation damage). It was powerful, deadly stuff.

A 1945 article in Life estimated that during the development of these atomic bombs, “probably no more than a few dozen men in the entire country knew the full meaning of the Manhattan Project, and perhaps only a thousand others even were aware that work on atoms was involved.”

By the mid 1940s, Mallinckrodt Chemical Works had run out of space to store the radioactive waste left behind, so in 1946 they began to ship the leftovers to a relatively underpopulated area north of St Louis, next to a creek by the name of Coldwater. It was here that approximately 250,000 barrels of radioactive material were dumped in shallow pits and exposed to the elements.

“It was in wartime.  Everything was secretive. In the ‘40s it’s not like we had social media.  Nobody knew,” former resident Kim Visintine told news.com.au.

“The uranium was owned by the US government and the Department of Energy — this is their mess.”

In some areas where waste spilled from the trucks, the Energy Department found radiation levels exceeded seven times the normal amount.

According to a 1990 article in the New York Times, the toxic waste was dumped secretly with the approval of the federal government.

“Reporters here asked questions about the trucks that were hauling dirt from the plant to land bordering the airport,” the article reads.

“The concerns disappeared after the Government and Mallinckrodt said the wastes were ‘not radioactive or otherwise dangerous’.”

But in the 1950s and ‘60s, a residential boom hit the area and the city began to expand, so a decision was made to reroute Coldwater Creek to make it more aesthetic.

Little did residents know at the time that by dredging and disturbing the creek, it gave the contaminated sediment a mode of transportation, and soon it began to spread throughout the area. Unknowingly, people began ingesting and eating the leftover carcinogens.

“The analogy we always use is like spreading icing on a birthday cake,” Ms Visintine explained.  “They spread the contamination across the entire region.  It’s been this comedy of errors. Nobody knew.  We didn’t know until we began investigating because we were all showing up with cancer. You can’t smell it, you can’t see it and you can’t taste it.

“If you have really low doses of radiation and you ingest it, over time it builds in your body. Once it gets in your body it never leaves.  It’s like arsenic poisoning. It’s not one ingestion, it’s over and over, then it mutates and you end up with these cancers.  “We’re showing up with these really rare cancers, and really high rates at really young ages.”

In 2011, with the advent of Facebook, residents from the community began to reconnect and, after sharing stories, they noticed a strange phenomena — unexplained high incidences of rare cancers.  “It was like this overwhelming response. When we started realizing we were all sick, we thought, ‘this is statistically not right.  There’s an issue’,” said Ms Visintine.

As more and more residents shared their stories, a man by the name of Jeff Armstead decided to create a group — and map — to pinpoint what was going on.  “We hand wrote the first 750 cases of cancer but we had no idea how big this was. After that we started getting thousands of reports,” Ms Visintine explained.  Soon enough one little Facebook page grew from simply getting back in touch, to the alarming realiation that more than 2700 residents reported rare incidents of illness. This was becoming a cancer cluster of epic proportions: 45 cases of appendix cancer, 184 cases of brain cancer, 315 cases of thyroid cancer, 448 cases of auto-immune disease, and so on.

“The situation here is one of the most graphic illustrations of the enduring costs paid by an American community for its participation in the cold war,” read the New York Times.

As a kid, Ms Visintine unknowingly ate vegetables full of radiation from her backyard vegetable garden. Kids would go down to the corner dairy mart and eat fresh ice cream from the huge dairy farms in the area, unaware the cows were eating from a contaminated field. Kids would chew on honeysuckle torn from the backyard fence. They would play in the creek, completely oblivious they were bathing in poison.

The neighbourhood park where they used to play as kids is now padlocked, as construction crews remove radioactive waste discovered beneath the topsoil. "What you see is an environmental health disaster unfolding slowly over decades,” County health director Dr. Faisal Kahn told CBS.  “The rates of appendix cancer, for instance, which is relatively rare — we see about 800 cases across the nation per year. To find seven or eight cases in one zip code or one small geographic area is rather unusual.”

In June, the Army Corps of Engineers, tasked to clean up the mess in 1989, announced that it found more radioactive soil in various areas, including backyards and a public park. They’ve spent close to 17 years excavating and cleaning up the poisons of Coldwater Creek, but the problems still persist.

“This is the oldest radioactive waste of the atomic age, and there still is no safe place to put the stuff,” said Kay Drey in 1990, a nuclear opponent who provided technical assistance to several suburban leaders.  It comes as no surprise, considering they’re not even a third of the way from cleaning up. Ms Visintine said they’re expected to be cleaning until at least 2020.   

“Our main goal is to make sure we can protect human health and the environment,” Army Corps’ Mike Petersen told RT.com.  “What we’re dealing with is generally a low level contamination but it does pose a long term threat and that’s what we stay focused on.
“In the near term, it’s low risk. We’ve told them [residents] don’t dig. We’re going to come out and restore the ground with clean fill soil.”

But it’s little relief to Ms Visintine, who lost her son to a brain tumour.  “When my son passed away, he had respiratory failure as a result from brain cancer. We’re passing it on to our children. We have entire streets where the families have gotten sick.”

The US government has done little to study the health consequences borne out of this disaster.  Residents are hoping to access Downwinder status, a program set up by the US Department of Justice to compensate victims of World War II testing. Other cities in the United States, like Arizona, Nevada and Utah have received approval, but St Louis is not yet on the map.

“We are the birthplace of the atomic bomb, but we’re the forgotten site,” said Ms Visintine.  “The problem is the damage is done.  I wish I was Dr Who and could go back and move in 1973, but it doesn’t help me now. Until the area is cleaned up, I wouldn’t recommend moving there.
“Here we are in 2015 and we’re victims of World War II. We don’t want to be forgotten.  We don’t want to be orphaned.”

In a statement to CBS, Mallinckrodt said: “The company worked under the direction of the U.S. government and at no time did Mallinckrodt own any uranium or its byproducts.”

The graphic below shows all events M4.0 > greater (internationally), and M3.0 > greater (United States). Clearly the whole of the West Pacific, Asia, and even the United States was displaced along plate boundaries. According to the earthquake forecast issued on October 20, 2015, we are still watching Central America for a larger event to strike. The Pacific Northwest was already hit by a M4.8 earlier this week, and two swarms near volcanoes (Mount Diablo / San Francisco CA) and Mount Davis (Oregon).   Additionally, several M3.0 events struck at the Gorda Escarpment in North California as well. See the earthquake forecast video here, several of the areas which were called for movement have already been hit: Keep watch still in North California… just in case… no way things will immediately die down around the Pacific after seeing two M7.0+ events in the past few days, and a new round of deep earthquakes striking this morning — this means we’re not out of the woods yet. East Pacific MUST move in relation to the other M7.0+ events, and the deep events which have now struck in succession of one another. This much deep movement means the whole Pacific Plate will adjust, right now the pressure transferred WEST from the West Pacific (like Normal) towards Europe. The cluster spot near Pakistan / India / Afghanistan gave way today.. the pressure will also transfer across the Pacific plate to the United States, Central America, and South America. We should see things spill across over the next 1-2 days tops. This brings us to the end of the earthquake forecast period, but NOT to the end of the pressure event taking place. I’ll have to do another forecast come Wednesday and update accordingly based upon the deep movement happening now. This much deep movement means the Pacific Rim countries need to be on heightened alert.. no joke, no exaggeration here… be on watch for larger movement based upon the deep movement. Yesterdays deep M5.2 gave way to todays M7.5 in another region adjacent to the Pacific.. pressure transferring… Todays new deep M5.2 just a bit away from the original deep M5.2 will most likely give way to another larger event in another adjacent area. Like clockwork, it usually strikes within a day or two as the pressure transfers UPWARDS from the deep movement below. Deep movement causing shallower movement in other areas has been proved via a series of TESTS done by geologists in New Zealand last year.. deep earthquakes cause shallow earthquakes in adjacent areas, sometimes THOUSANDS of miles away. Russian warplanes have struck 118 "terrorist" targets in Syria over the past 24 hours in a new record, the defense ministry said on Wednesday, attributing the rise to new intelligence.

Russian jets hit 118 targets during 71 sorties over the provinces of Idlib, Homs, Hama, Aleppo, Damascus and Latakia, said the defense ministry.

It was the highest one-day tally since the Kremlin began its bombing campaign on September 30. The previous record was set on Monday when Moscow said it had struck 94 "terrorist" targets in Syria. The defense ministry released no information on Tuesday.

"The number of sorties has gone up," the ministry said in a statement. "This is due to an increase in intelligence data," it said, adding that targets had been "confirmed via various channels."

The strikes destroyed a command post near the town of Talbisseh in Homs province which belonged to Al-Qaeda affiliate Nusra Front, said the ministry.

Among the other targets was a base in Aleppo province used to control a "terrorist" weapon supply route which was "destroyed" along with car-mounted anti-aircraft systems that were protecting it, it said.

In Idlib province, the warplanes hit a "camouflaged supply base" with munitions and materiel, which caused an explosion that also destroyed trucks parked some 500 meters away.

Despite Moscow's claims that its campaign targets Islamic State (ISIS), reports have revealed that no less than a third of the dead are civilians, and the vast majority are Western backed rebel forces instead of ISIS.*

The Syrian-American Medical Society last Thursday revealed that the Russians have already bombed nine hospitals or field clinics. (This was also put out about the USA jets - so what is the TRUTH here? More USA propaganda?)

Russia on Tuesday angrily condemned the reports as being part of an "information war."
(The USA cabal is doing  EVERYTHING it can to convince the Americans and the entire planet that it is Russia that is causing the confrontations when, in fact, it is the USA/UN/NWO cabal issuing propaganda in their attempt to retain control of the world financial system [Fed Res, IRS, USA corp 'gov', IMF, BIS, et al), and to create WW3 if necessary to do it.  American troops and sailors are simply pawns on their chess board to move around and remove from the game 'necessary'.)

GOP chieftains 'prefer Hillary' as president

'They're not even pretending to be an opposition party'

PALM BEACH, Florida – The leadership of the Republican Party actually prefers to see Democrat Hillary Clinton elected as next president as opposed to some conservative GOP members running for commander in chief, says talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh.  

“They would be happier with Hillary Clinton as president than Ted Cruz,” Limbaugh declared on his national broadcast Wednesday.

“And that’s not a feeling. I know that almost for a fact. I know that with almost ontological certitude. They as members of the inside-the-beltway establishment, no way no how do they want anybody like Ted Cruz in the White House. They would much prefer Hillary.”

Limbaugh flayed the Republican establishment, including outgoing House Speaker John Boehner, for engineering the recent two-year budget deal with President Obama.  “This budget deal essentially paves the way for Hillary Clinton to become president,” Limbaugh said.

“What they’re doing makes no sense,” he said of the Republican leadership. “They’re not even an opposition party. They’re not even pretending to be an opposition party.”

Addressing grassroots Republican voters across America, Limbaugh said, “You’ve been lied to in terms of how your representatives were gonna fight the Democrats, fight spending, fight this constant bloat. We can now officially claim that the Republicans are responsible for 5 trillion additional new dollars added to the national debt. Spending bills originate in the Congress. … We turned over the writing of the budget to Obama and the Democrats essentially.”

As far as the reason why the Republican leadership is going along with Democrats, Limbaugh claimed: “There is a combined bipartisan effort to finally render conservatives and conservatism as irrelevant as a pock mark. The only thing that explains this. This is not good budgeting. Not only is it not conservative, it’s not Republican, [or] even moderate Republican.

“This is rubber-stamp liberal Democrat budgetary philosophy. This violates every pledge and promise that they’ve made in election campaigns going back to 2010, repeated in 2012 during the presidential race and repeated again in 2014.”

Limbaugh explained how 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney “let it out of the bag” recently as he pined for the days when there were very few news outlets in America.

“There was a time when we all got the news with the same facts, if you will. We had three networks we watched for the evening news. Most of us got newspapers. Everybody in the middle class got a newspaper, so we got the same facts whether we agreed or not with them,” Romney said during a recent “Axe Files” podcast with Democratic strategist David Axelrod – Obama’s chief political architect.

But now, Romney bewailed all that’s changed – and not necessarily for the better.  “[Now people] get their news on the Web … they tend to read those things which they agree with,” Romney said. “[They are] not seeing the other side, … not even getting the same facts … [relying on] commentators … who are hyperbolic in expressing their views on issues.”

Romney also said “the extremes within our respective parties are having a louder and louder voice and demanding more attention” and “immediate action” as opposed to “collective action,” Breitbart reported.

“In my party, there are more and more who feel they are more insurgent than toward the center of the party,” he said. “And I think that divisiveness is one of the things that has led to Washington having such a hard time getting things done.”   

Romney doubled down on those comments on Sunday during a “State of the Union” interview on CNN. Then, he expressed concern about the rise of conservative insurgents and said: “The challenge in our party is not so much that people have differing views on issues, as much as people have differing views about how to get those issues implemented. There are some in our party who think the best approach is throwing bombs. The problem with bomb throwing so far is that most of the bombs have landed on our own team. That doesn’t help. 

… We have Paul Ryan, for instance, that’s willing to work with Democrats. I think that’s a productive thing.”
On Wednesday, Limbaugh said: “I haven’t found any reaction to that anywhere. Not a peep. And to me, it was the biggest news because it confirmed long-held suspicions.”

He said Republicans have harmed themselves tremendously in the upcoming election, presuming Mrs. Clinton wins the nomination.  “When you can’t go after the Democrat presidential nominee for who she and what she will do … what in the world are you going to campaign against her on? … What’s gonna be the primary campaign message when all of this is off the table?”

Syrian Peace Is at Hand (Part I)

As the Russia-led coalition defeats ISIS & other terrorists in Syria and as Putin & Obama agree on expediting the peace process, when can we begin infrastructure development?

As President Vladimir Putin’s Russia-led coalition defeats ISIS & other terrorists in population centers & strategic areas of western Syria, President Barack Obama is working quietly with Putin to eliminate all terrorists and to facilitate a win-win political transition for Syria etc. Even as U.S. rhetoric and actions continue to be bellicose, disjointed and chaotic, peace is at hand.

At Obama’s request & with Putin’s acceptance, Russia, U.S., Saudi Arabia, Turkey & Iran will continue Syrian peace process talks in Vienna that will lead to a relatively quick cessation of hostilities in Syria and a diplomatic agreement on a “Syrians-decide” political transition. Despite contrary outward appearances and despite treacherous pockets of resistance from U.S. factions and from some U.S. allies, Obama is changing U.S.-Mideast foreign policy in a major way.

In two days, Obama & Putin will continue 5+1-style Syria peace talks in Vienna — with Syria to hold 2016 elections to decide whether “Assad Must Go.” The next step may be — and is – to lift all sanctions to revive & accelerate Syrian, U.S., Russian & global/national economic recoveries.

The Obama-initiated Vienna peace process parlays (now with Russia, U.S., Saudi Arabia, Iran & Turkey) show the reluctant readiness of most major powers for a diplomatic deal to end the war in Syria. Although the parties disagree on President Bashar al-Assad’s future, all parties now tacitly agree that Syrians will make this choice. A few days ago, we learned that Assad is ready for Syrians to decide his fate in 2016. What a difference a day makes. Or a few days. Especially with the Russia-led coalition winning all major battles in the air and on the ground in Syria.

Former President Jimmy Carter has “back-channeled” Syria negotiations amongst all parties for 3+ years. Despite VT/my differences with Carter, what Carter says in his recent OpEd is mostly now happening. Despite Obama’s disingenuous bellicose bluster at UN, Obama unequivocally said: “The United States is willing to work with any nation, including Russia and Iran, to resolve the conflict.” After Putin’s UN speech, Obama met privately with Putin and began to do so.

On September 30, Russia began to bomb terrorists in strategic areas of western Syria. U.S. officials continued diversionary bluster in public. Some U.S. factions and U.S. allies then F16-bombed civilian Aleppo electric & water plants (increasing refugee flows as the Russian coalition retakes Aleppo) and provided more weapons for “moderate terrorists.” Such brinksmanship & strategic stupidity only delays a now-inevitable peace – as bad as some factions think that is.

U.S.-led coalition members have done nothing significant to counter the Russia-led coalition in eliminating terrorists and in strengthening Syria & Assad. This enables diplomatic agreement on a political transition that all powers say should & would end the Syrian war. Even as NeoCon & Neo-Liberal U.S. factions and U.S. allies continue anti-Putin & anti-Assad bluster and do stupid stuff to delay peace, what Obama and allied officials are actually doing is hidden in plain sight (e.g., at UN and in Vienna).  In “Lead, Follow or Get Out of the Way,” Obama chose Door #3.

One Su-24 shut down Aegis & other U.S. weapons, Comms & tracking systems in the Black Sea in 2014. Anti-Kiev rebels used similar systems to win in Ukraine, and Russia is now using even-more-capable A2AD systems in Syria.

What the Russia-led Coalition Is Doing

Russia moved military jets, advisers & force protection into Syria in August/September. Despite loud protests from U.S./allies & Israel, no one did anything effective to counter this move. With Iraq, Iran & Syria, Russia established an intelligence sharing center in U.S.-controlled Iraq. U.S.-led coalition member Jordan just established an intel sharing center with Russia in Jordan. Jordan & Russia have invited other U.S. coalitionists to join and work together. Iraq just invited Russia to hit ISIS targets in Iraq, and Iran General Soleimani is leading Iraqi fighters against IS-U.S. & other terrorists in Aleppo. U.S. & allies are losing the anti-Assad war in Syria.

Russian & U.S. leaders have talked privately with top leaders of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Qatar, Egypt & Israel etc. –as well as Iran, China, Iraq, CSTO, BRICS & EU+. Holographically projecting the above communication/action beams onto the chaos that is now the Syrian war (proxy-driven & otherwise) results in a “big picture” beginning to appear: Peace Is at Hand.

With sophisticated Russian electronic systems, Russia has established a 600-kilometer anti-access area-denial (A2AD) “bubble” stretching from Latakia to Aleppo to Incirlik Air Base and into the Mediterranean Sea. Russia can establish a no-fly zone over Syria at any time (which would also shut down U.S.-led coalition weapons systems). U.S. & allies cannot do this.

What Happened to the U.S.-led Coalition

Russia quietly & effectively facilitated A2AD in Ukraine, which in part forced U.S. coalition coup-puppet Poroshenko to announce “de-escalation” (i.e., concede defeat) on March 17. This effectively ended U.S./allied efforts to destabilize Russia with their Ukrainian debacle, anti-Russia sanctions and Syrian stupidity. World War 3 “hopes” then ebbed if not ended, since U.S. & allies were also slated to lose the anti-Russia-sanctions war & the Syria-regime-change war.

EU nations are now eager to end anti-Russia sanctions, which are hurting EU, U.S. & others more so than sanctions are hurting Russia. Putin has managed Russian & other perceptions of & reactions to sanctions such that Putin is now more popular than ever in Russia & elsewhere.

If EU & U.S. do not soon end anti-Syria sanctions, then BRICS & allied nations will benefit from Syrian & Iraqi infrastructure development & rebuilding, while EU, U.S. & allies will be shut out. The Russia-led coalition, in tacit partnership with BRICS-aligned nations, has economically & militarily boxed the U.S. & allies. Obama knows this. When peace is inevitable, relax & enjoy it.

Benefits & Implications for U.S., Syria, Russia, Mid-East, BRICS & U.S./Russian Allies

In his UN speech, Obama said “The United States is willing to work with any nation, including Russia, to resolve conflict.” If true, then Obama’s declaration has wide-ranging ramifications for U.S., Mideast & global foreign policies. In addition, if so, then a different world order is dawning.

If or since Obama is also willing to work with the Russia-led coalition & others to eliminate Boko Haram & al-Qaeda-affiliated, Muslim Brotherhood terrorism in Africa, Asia, EU & elsewhere, then Russia, U.S., NATO, BRICS & others working together can & will eventually win. Maybe soon. If so, then this world will be – and already is – a radically different planet. Shift Happens.

If the old world order is dead; and if the new world order is now something different from what its designers intended it to be, then “The Few” and “The Many” can prosper together.

Syria, Iraq, Mideast, Africa, Asia, Americas, Russia & others have an abundance of gas, oil & coal for energy. We can also develop peaceful nuclear and other “New Energy” technologies to provide cheap and abundant energy. Energy can be and will be inexpensive. Forever.

With cheap energy, all necessary natural resources are abundant – but unevenly distributed. Unemployment is abundance of labor. Some need training. Both Capitalism & Socialism as we knew them are bankrupt or dead. In a world of abundance, all scarcity-based, supply-&-demand, economic equations are obsolete. BRICS/others are designing new systems. Asian, European, American & African nations are defecting to the new economic, monetary & banking systems.

Our world operates with scarcity/austerity-inducing Malthusian banking & currency systems for our national & global economies. If, as & when we switch to asset/productivity-backed banking & currency systems (e.g., “MMT”), then global prosperity will soar. “The Many” will benefit without taking much if anything from “The Few.” With a global abundance of all necessary resources, why would anyone (even religious fanatics) need to rob “The Few” to benefit “The Many”?

Austrians are arming themselves at record rates in an effort to defend their households against feared attacks from Muslim invaders.

Tens of thousands of Muslim “refugees” have poured into Austria from Hungary and Slovenia in recent months on their way to Germany and Sweden, two wealthy European countries that have laid out the welcome mat for migrants. More than a million will end up in Germany alone by the end of this year, according to estimates from the German government.

Obtaining a working firearm and ammunition in Germany, Britain, Denmark and the Netherlands is practically impossible for the average citizen. Germany, for instance, requires a psychological evaluation, the purchase of liability insurance and verifiable compliance with strict firearms storage and safety rules. And self-defense is not even a valid reason to purchase a gun in these countries.

The laws in Austria, while still strict, are a bit less overbearing.

A Czech TV report confirms that long guns – shotguns and rifles – have been flying off the shelves in Austria, and Austrians who haven’t already purchased a gun may not have a chance to get one for some time. They’re all sold out.

And those arming themselves are primarily women.
“If anyone wants to buy a long gun in Austria right now, too bad for them,” the Czech newscaster says. “All of them are currently sold out.”

He cites the Austrian news outlet Trioler Tageszeitung as the source of his report.

“We cannot complain about lack of demand,” Stephen Mayer, a gun merchant, told Trioler Tageszeitung.
It’s not just happening in Europe.

He claims the stock has been sold out for the last three weeks and that demand is being fueled by fears generated by social changes.

“People want to protect themselves,” Mayer said. “Nonetheless, the most common purchasers of arms are primarily Austrian women.”

They are also buying pepper sprays, which Mayer said are in big demand among those who can’t get a gun.
Alan Gottlieb, executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation, said he recently returned from a gun rights event in Europe, where he sensed a change in attitude toward firearms.

“I just returned from a gun rights meeting in Belgium, and I can attest that all over Europe people now want the means to defend themselves,” Gottlieb told WND. “Self-defense is no longer a dirty word. In countries like Austria, where it is still legal to own a firearm, gun sales are at record levels. I can tell you first-hand that people in Europe now wish they had a Second Amendment.”
More potential new customers are entering the market than ever before, according to the Czech report.

Until the refugees started flooding Europe, it was mostly hunters and sport shooters who purchased firearms. Now, people are seeking weapons for self-defense because they are worried about their personal safety. Most have never used a gun before.  

So-called "projectile weapons" are available in Austria under two classifications, C and D, which are rifles and shotguns. Every adult Austrian is legally able to apply for a weapons permit but must disclose to the government their reason for wanting to own a gun.

The Czech station cited an interview with a sociologist and an Austrian journalist, both of whom said the weapons purchases were based on unfounded fears about foreign migrants.  'Something is very wrong here.'
The Viennese sociologist, identified only as Mr. Gertler, said no such fears about migrants should ever be published by any Austrian news outlet.

A journalist named Wittinger said "something is very wrong here" if Austrians are buying guns to protect themselves against migrants.  "Shotguns will not, after all, solve any immediate problems, quite the contrary," he said.

The Czech TV station then reported that Islamists are promising: "We will cut the heads off unbelieving dogs even in Europe." "Look forward to it, it's coming soon!" the Czech newscaster said.

ISIS-trained jihadists are now returning as European citizens or they are trying to infiltrate as migrants. In one propaganda video an ISIS operative informs his comrades back home in Germany to slit the throats of unbelievers in Germany, Czech TV reports.

"Overall, the ministry of interior stated that Germany is in the cross-hairs of Islamic terrorists but that he does not have any indications of specific threats," he said.

Bracing for another Islamic invasion

The Czech site reflects awareness of a major event in Western history, said Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America.

"Polish King John Sobieski defeated the Muslim invaders at the gates of Vienna in 1683. Another Muslim invasion is underway and Austrians are alarmed, hence their run on gun stores," Pratt told WND.  "Women are right to be concerned in view of the Muslim view of women that they are good for raping and little else."

The Czech TV report cited the Arab Spring as the root cause for the flood of Muslim migrants into Europe.
"More and more, the whole thing is turning into the situation that we will experience the much-touted Arab spring from very close up – right here at home," the reporter said. "What's more, many European are alienating large part of their own populace with unfortunate social and multicultural politics, merciless removal of children, unfair seizures and trading on traditional European values and with policies which are usually less friendly toward conservative and traditional native inhabitants and leans toward that portion of inhabitants who have little trouble with globalization and nonchalant liberalization, removal of traditions and Islamization. Yet we will not be able to rely on it, that portion of (population) once the Arab Spring comes here. And that will probably be, as they say, closing the barn after the cows are gone."

Gun-Free Europe Citizens are Arming Themselves

Self-appointed Caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has said that ISIS could never hope to defeat the west, Europe  militarily in a straight up fight.  His plan all along has been to overrun the European Union and conquer it from within. His plan may be working. In their effort to show the world how Western Europe is truly enlightened and tolerant their countries’ marshmallowy, myopic, pacifist leaders are falling right into Baghdadi’s trap.

Europe has accepted one and all, indiscriminately allowing anyone who is able to walk, ride or float into their countries. And amongst the “refugees” are thousands of ISIS jihadists.

And more than any other to date, their destination has been Germany mostly because of the generous (American) German welfare system.

There are other reasons Germany is the destination of choice for al-Baghdadi’s jihadists. Germany is the most powerful economically of all the E.U. nations. Therefore, by default, it is the de facto head of the Union. Baghdadi knows that in order to conquer Europe, Islamey must first overwhelm its strongest member. Also, Germany is one of the least defended European countries.

According to the 2012 National Gun Registry, only 1.4 million people own firearms out of a population of nearly 83 million. Frankly, they’re ripe for the picking.
Look at how the West reacted to one child washing up on the shore at that Turkish resort. It’s almost as if it were a deliberate act. Those staged photographs of that one child even caused Americans to insist we allow the “refugees” into our country.

And now that winter is around the corner, the push from soft liberal European leaders will be even greater. We must let them in lest they freeze to death along their “trail of tears.”

But as their pitiful leadership struggles to allow more migrants (and ISIS killers) in, the general public, the average European citizen, isn’t just sitting still. Austria appears to be taking the lead.



Weapons sales are soaring in Austria.  

In a country with about 8.5 million people, there is said to be almost 1 million guns. That’s close to the number in Germany which has a population 10 times larger.

Shotguns are evidently the preferred choice for home defense, as it is near impossible to find one for sale in the country. “Virtually all shotguns are currently sold out, because you need no permit for them,” said Thomas Ortner, spokesman for an arms dealer in Upper Austria. A license is required for almost all other guns. Islamists don’t care about no stinkin’ licenses.      

“License courses, in which applicants must demonstrate knowledge of firearms, used to take place every five weeks but they are now held weekly because of spiking demand.
 
In cities like Salzburg, a line of people outside the necessary government office to get the paperwork to buy a gun is now an everyday sight.” And the odd thing is that women are buying them up at a much greater rate than men.
 
I wonder why that is? Have we not been told that the vast majority of “refugees” have been mothers with children? Why would an Austrian woman be afraid of innocent women and children?  Could it be that the lie promulgated by politicians and the liberal press don’t jibe with the reality on the streets?  I wrote an article more than a month ago that this is nonsense. From what I’ve seen, the majority of “refugees” are fighting age males.

At least one politician sees a possible end. Slovenian Prime Minister, Miro Cerar, warns that if quick action isn’t taken to get a handle on the “refugee” situation, the EU may collapse.

This has been the Caliph’s plan from day one -- his crown jewel -- the collapse of Europe from the inside out, and if nothing changes, he and his Islamist refugee soldiers will succeed.

Ben Carson Says Government Should Silence People with “'Extreme' Political Bias”

Popular GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson appeared with Glenn Beck earlier this week to talk about his candidacy and about his ideas for the future of our nation. It was during this conversation that Dr. Carson said something that should bother EVERYONE, Republican or Democrat, conservative or liberal… 

At around 3:30 in the video, Beck asks Carson if he would “shut down the Department of Education?” 

Carson responds, “I actually have something I would use the Department of Education to do.” Then, “It would be to monitor our institutions of higher education for extreme political bias and deny federal funding if it exists.” 

 

Before I heard the context of the statement, I was willing to give Carson a pass for this answer, because I assumed it came during a larger “what if” scenario of some sort. However, after listening to the interview, I realized that this is something that Carson has obviously thought a lot about and this answer is a thoroughly considered idea that he wants to implement! 

Folks, this answer is exactly the thing we fear most from the Democrats! The only difference between Hillary Clinton offering up this “idea” and Carson doing it is that Clinton is a liberal and if she said we would see it for what it was… an attack on conservative ideology in the classroom. When Carson says it, we understand he primarily means liberal political bias… the problem is that it sets a VERY dangerous precedent. 

Perhaps Carson as President can force the Department of Education to be unbiased in their judgment of political speech on campus… but what happens when the next liberal is inaugurated and they don’t care about liberal political speech on campus? The Department of Ed could be used as a sword against conservative political activity on campus!  (It ALREADY is! Talk with students who are FORCED to remove campaign buttons, jewelry, clothing due to censorship.)

I like Dr. Carson, but sometimes I feel like he “overthinks” some of his responses in an effort to distinguish himself from other conservative candidates. He thought long and hard about finding a good use for the Department of Education, and while all the other conservatives say “abolish,” he says he’ll use it to make things easier for conservatives on college campuses. Sounds like a great idea… until you realize what it means.

Dr. Carson has made this mistake before on the 2^nd Amendment.  After he received blowback for his gun stance, he changed his mind. I hope he does that again on the Department of Education.
