New  US  Interior  Secretary  Lifts  Lead  Ammunition  Ban  in  Nod  to  Hunters



New U.S. Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke on Thursday issued an order overturning an Obama administration ban on the controversial use of lead ammunition and fishing tackle used on federal lands and waters, in a nod to hunters and fishermen on his first day on the job.

Zinke, who was a first-term Montana Congressman and a former Navy SEAL, arrived for his first day at work at the Interior Department in Washington on a horse named Tonto escorted by mounted U.S. Park Police officers.

Zinke, an avid angler and hunter, lifted the lead ammunition ban in one of two secretarial orders, which he said were meant to "expand access to public lands and increase hunting, fishing, and recreation opportunities nationwide."

Interior Department employs over 70,000 President    Barack Obama's Fish and Wildlife Service had issued the lead ban on Jan. 19, one day before the inauguration of President Donald Trump, to protect birds and fish from lead poisoning. The move was met with sharp criticism from the National Rifle Association (NRA), which called it Obama's "final assault on gun owners' and sportsmen's rights."

The Interior Department, which is in charge of conserving fish, wildlife and their habitat, manages one-fifth of the land in the United States. It employs more than 70,000 people across the United States.

Secretarial orders signed Zinke also signed an order on Thursday that would direct federal agencies to identify areas where recreation and fishing can be expanded and sought recommendations for expanding access to public lands and improving fishing and wildlife habitat.

"This package of secretarial orders will expand access for outdoor enthusiasts and also make sure the community's voice is heard," he said.

The NRA, as well as hunting and fishing groups including the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation, National Shooting Sports Foundation, Ducks Unlimited and the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership attended the signing of the orders.

Zinke said that fishing, hunting, and other outdoor recreation activities "generate thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic activity."

"This Is Watergate": Trump Accuses Obama Of Wiretapping The Trump Tower

President Trump on Saturday morning alleged that his predecessor Barack Obama had “wired tapped” the Trump Tower before Election Day, tweeting the accusation without however providing evidence so far.
“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” he wrote.
“Is it legal for a sitting President to be "wire tapping" a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!” he added in subsequent tweets. “I'd bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election!”
Trump compared Obama's alleged activity to Nixon's bugging of the Watergate hotel. "How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!"
It was not immediately clear what evidence or report Trump was referencing. On Friday night, Breitbart News reported on conservative radio host Mark Levin’s claim that Obama executed a “silent coup” of Trump via “police state” tactics.
Since Trump has a tendency to tweet about things he has just seen on TV or read in the press, and since there has been no definitive report on that topic, Trump may be referencing an internal report. And since the allegations in his tweets are material, and will surely provoke a response by Barack Obama (at least his twitter account), this may escalate significantly.
Also on Saturday, prior to the wiretapping tweet, Trump had also linked Obama to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s meetings last year with Russia’s U.S. ambassador.
“The first meeting Jeff Sessions had with the Russian Amb was set up by the Obama Administration under education program for 100 Ambs,” he tweeted.
Trump on Saturday also blasted Obama for meeting with Kislyak 22 times while president, as the Daily Caller reported first on Friday, tweeting: “Just out: The same Russian Ambassador that met Jeff Sessions visited the Obama White House 22 times, and 4 times last year alone.”
The Trump administration has sought to push back on accusations of being cozy with Moscow, by pointing out instances of Democrats meeting with Kislyak. Critics have responded that the issue isn’t that Sessions met with the ambassador, but that he falsely told Congress he hadn’t while under oath. So far, according to some media outlets, Trump has failed to "fend off" the Russia questions, which continue to reemerge virtually every night in some new front page story on the WaPo, NYT, in a recurring pattern as described in the following blog post.

If  appointing  a  muslim  as  a  chaplain  in  the  US  Army  or  in  any  US  military  division,  especially  over  Christians,  is  intended  as  a  permanent  position  for an  appointment,  it  should  be  considered  TREASON  by  every  American!!!
Those  who  made  this  decision  to  appoint  a  MUSLIM  - of  all  things - should  be  arrested  and  prosecuted   to  the  fullest  extent  of  the  law  for  TREASON.

Muslim to become Army division chaplain — for over 14,000 mostly Christian soldiers

Lt. Col. Khallid Shabazz is slated to become chaplain of the Army’s 7th Infantry Division at Lewis-McChord, McClatchy reported
A Muslim is slated to become chaplain for a U.S. Army division — over 14,000 mostly Christian soldiers — a first for the American military, McClatchy reported.

Lt. Col. Khallid Shabazz, 48, told the outlet he got the news while sitting at his desk at Joint Base Lewis-McChord near Tacoma, Washington. “I was running around the office saying, al hamdulillah, al hamdulillah, praise be to God!” Shabazz said.

Following a ceremony this summer, Shabazz will become chaplain of the Army’s 7th Infantry Division at Lewis-McChord, McClatchy reported — and he’s only one of 10 Muslim chaplains in the entire U.S. military.

“Islamic guy in a leadership position?” he told the outlet. “If I think about it too much, it’ll get overwhelming.”

Before his conversion, Shabazz was Michael Barnes — and part of a large Lutheran family in Alexandria, Louisiana, that went to church three times a week and prayed every night, McClatchy said.

He joined the Army at age 23, got stationed in Baumholder, Germany, and worked in the motor pool — with a Muslim soldier who got on others’ nerves with his declarations about Islam, the outlet said. So Shabazz decided to challenge the guy to a public debate “to cut him down to size,” he told McClatchy.  But his Muslim opponent “kind of blindsided me with some facts” at the showdown in front of about 30 people, Shabazz told the outlet, which got the shocked soldier thinking.
 
“It was all-out cognitive dissonance, depression and shame, honestly,” Shabazz told McClatchy. “I thought I had a stronghold on the truth. And, for the first time, my confidence was shaken in who I was as a human being and what I believed.”

Shabazz began studying Islam on his own, determined to correct the lack of knowledge revealed in his debate with the Muslim soldier. He’d work all day and then stay up well past midnight paging through the Bible and the Quran. He described it as going into a “cubbyhole.”
After two years, Michael Barnes, the devout Christian reared in a Louisiana church, decided to convert to Islam, taking the name Khallid Shabazz to complete his transformation. He said that there had been no single tipping point in his thinking, just a deep identification with Islamic tenets, such as the lack of a clerical hierarchy and the emphasis on charity.

('charity'??? cutting off heads?  crucifying, burning and cutting people to pieces?  screwing men, women and especially helpless children?  eating human flesh and drinking their blood?  where are we missing the 'charity'?)
“One of my favorite passages in the Quran asks if the man who thinks and the man who does are the same,” Shabazz said. “It’s the thinking component in Islam that really intrigued me. I am in control of my grace, and I don’t have to answer to the imam. I tell my congregation, ‘Listen, you have to do your own research.’ ”
Shabazz’s family wasn’t thrilled about his conversion to Islam at first — he’s still known to them as “Michael,” he told McClatchy. But years later they’ve accepted it and even make him gumbo without pork sausage, the outlet said.

“I do still go to church with my family – that’s an important part of reaching across the aisle,” he told McClatchy. “It would be improper for me to disrespect something that instilled in me so much of who I am.”

Shabazz’s conversion wasn’t easy job-wise either, particularly during Ramadan fasts.

On one of the toughest days, Shabazz was exhausted from a series of 12-hour shifts and hungry because of the lack of pork-free meals. Sitting outside on an M109 howitzer, he felt his frustration spill out in tears. Nobody’s here for me, he thought. Maybe this organization is not for me.
A passing chaplain noticed Shabazz’s distress and stopped. In an hour long impromptu ministry session, the chaplain let Shabazz pour his heart out about his struggle to carve a space for himself in the military. After listening, Shabazz said, the chaplain mentioned that the Army had recently received its first active-duty Muslim chaplain: Would that kind of path interest Shabazz?
“I’m telling you, it was like a revelation from God,” Shabazz told the outlet. “Once it came out of his mouth, I said, ‘That is my calling. That is what I want to do for the rest of my life.’”

When he was commissioned, Shabazz told the outlet that the chaplain wanted to tell him something important.

“He said, ‘Promise me you will be an advocate for our corps no matter what the faith or the background of the person is,’ ” Shabazz told McClatchy. “It moved me to the very essence of my core. Here you have a devout Christian who’s taken the time to care for a young Muslim soldier and make sure I got to be a chaplain. I don’t want to help just Muslims. I don’t want to help just Christians. I want to help people who are in distress.”

  • Shabazz added that Christians he ministers to often are surprised by how much of the Bible he knows. “Because I have the language from my days as a Christian, I can give them Scriptures from the Bible, and that doesn’t violate my religion,” he told the outlet. “My job is not to convert anybody to Islam. God guides people. My only goal is to have people leave my office stronger than when they came in.”

In Reply to Fears About the "National Debt"

What people are missing --- and Mr. Stockman, too --- is that the "National Debt" is in fact falling, not rising anymore. 

How is that possible? 

Simple.  The "National Credit" is being applied to pay down the "National Debt".

Last month, Winston Shrout applied $400 billion directly against the National Debt.  And that is just one man properly applying the remainder of a commercial claim against the so-called "National Debt". 

As I have tried and tried to get through to people, there actually is no "National Debt".  There is only a criminally mismanaged bookkeeping system.

In a monetary system based on Promissory Notes (I.O.U.'s aka "Federal Reserve Notes") there is only one transaction possible and it is known as "passing the buck".  When someone pays you with a debt (an I.O.U.) and you accept that debt as payment, a credit is created for him and a debt is accrued for you. 

You never get paid for anything until you "pass the buck"---and use that debt instrument as a means to receive something real in return.

Think about it in another way--- every time a debt is created, so is an answering credit of equal amount.

The debts and credits naturally cancel each other out.  There cannot be a $20 Trillion dollar "National Debt" created without the existence of an answering and equal $20 Trillion "National Credit" being created.  

So what is all this horse-hooey about? 

The "United States Government" --- as opposed to the American Government --- has been very profligate.  It has borrowed and borrowed and avoided paying its debts and squandered money like a drunken sailor for decades, and in the process it has accrued a $20 Trillion dollar National Debt for itself. 

The American Government as a whole, meanwhile, has been very circumspect and diligent and has accrued no commensurate debts so that a $20 Trillion dollar National Credit (and a great deal more) has accrued on our side of the ledger. 

It's time for the Internal Revenue Service to do the bookkeeping and zero out the "National Debt".   It should be a routine process akin to balancing a check book, but instead it has been made into an excuse for fraud and theft on an unimaginable scale.

It's also time for the vast majority of the members of the U.S. Congress to be sacked, thrown out on their ears, given a pink slip, sent home in dishonor, and held feet first to the fire for their gross lack of accountability, honesty, and competence.  

After having spent considerable time talking to members of the "U.S. Congress" I am convinced that most of them (1) have no idea how the government of the United States is supposed to work or fit within the framework of the American Government as a whole, (2) have no clear knowledge of how the government bookkeeping and accounting system is supposed to work, (3) and aside from knowing how to "appropriate" money for every unauthorized and questionable purpose in the western world, have no idea where the so-called money comes from, how it created, or anything else about it. 

A more brainless, irresponsible, unfocused, unaccountable, indecisive, self-absorbed, egotistical, crooked, and abominable assemblage of human flotsam than the "U.S. Congress" has seldom been collected on the face of the Earth.  One can only assume that Washington, District of Columbia, is the drain-hole of the world, and that the dregs of society have been dressed up in $2500 suits and trotted out as a joke.

Clearly, when the actual land jurisdiction states convene a Continental Congress and examine the topic of credentials and requirements for Congressmen and US Senators, having a brain and an I.Q. above 60 should be first on the list, followed by a solid understanding of how the American Government functions, followed by an equally solid grasp of basic economics, bookkeeping, and accounting.  Congress, after all, has the singular task of holding the purse-strings, and they have also very apparently failed to do so.

As for the political parties supporting such appallingly unqualified candidates for office, they should be universally despised as significantly worse than useless and self-interested. 

The whole idea of "political parties" was imported here by European immigrants cast out of their own countries for their participation in the 1848 Communist Worker's Rebellion.  It is a foreign concept and practice being promoted by a foreign "government" services corporation that is under contract to us and our states to provide stipulated services.  None of the familiar political party frou-frou-rah  has anything to do with our actual and lawful government, except that the "United States" Incorporated has been criminally mismanaged and allowed to run rampant over the people and states that it is hired to serve and polarized by different political party platforms which serve special-interest agendas instead of seeking the Public Good..

As part of the much-needed overhaul and reform of the "Federal Government" as its functions pertain to our states of the union,  I believe that political parties should either be outlawed as seditious special interests or all political elections should be publically funded or both.  Continuing to allow the "end results" of two rival gangs' selection process to control corporate offices that have such important duties to perform is nothing short of madness.  Elections for actual Public Offices must be resumed within the broader framework of the American Government and new restrictions and requirements must be imposed upon those offices and processes of the United States Government which affect us and our states.

Anyway, folks, next time someone starts prattling about the "National Debt", be sure to cock an eyebrow and inquire--- "What National Debt?"

Prominent Hedge Fund Trader Jumps To His Death In Manhattan

A prominent 47-year-old hedge fund trader was killed when he jumped from a luxury apartment building on Manhattan's Upper West Side, in an apparent suicide, authorities told the NY Post.



Kevin Bell, most recently head of Credit Risk at Arrowgrass Capital, jumped from a ninth-floor kitchen window at the Apthorp building on West End Avenue near West 79th Street around 7:20 a.m. He landed on scaffolding that was set up in front of the building and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bell left a note indicating he had been depressed, the source said. He had a history of depression, the source added.

According to the NY Post, Bell left behind a wife and two daughters. His family was at home when he jumped, according to the source. “The family is hysterical. He was under a lot of meds. He did not give a specific reason why he jumped, but he was depressed,” the source said.

Bell, a graduate of Duke University, worked at Arrowgrass Capital Partners, where he was head of credit risk, according to his LinkedIn page. Arrowgrass managed $4.5 billion as of mid-2016. It is run by former Deutsche Bank traders Henry Kenner and Nicholas Niell, and in 2015 had been stocking its ranks with Saba alumni after losing several employees in its credit-trading group in April. The firm focuses on strategies including corporate distressed assets in the U.S. and Europe.


Prior to Arrowgrass, Bell worked at various prominent hedge funds and banks including Saba Capital, Citadel, Citigroup and Deutsche Bank.

“We are deeply saddened that our friend and colleague Kevin Bell has passed away today. We extend our sympathies and condolences to his family,”
Arrowgrass spokesman Nick Lord told The Post in a statement from the UK.

A building worker said some residents saw the man’s body. “A couple of our residents reported hearing a thud,” the worker said. “The daughter of a tenant looked out the window and she told her mother there was a man lying down on the scaffolding.”

The worker said the mother saw the body and notified building workers.
“He was bleeding,” the worker said. “Some of the residents are pretty shaken up.”

Based on resident reports, this is not the first suicide at the building: a man who works in a nearby doctor’s office was stunned about the suicide. “Oh my God, another one?” he said in disbelief. “Somebody committed suicide a few months ago … on the other side of the building. I can’t believe it, it’s almost exactly the same thing, but just around the side.”

Among the Apthorp building’s famed tenants were Al Pacino, Sydney Poitier and singer and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson. The building, which is modeled after the Palazzo Pitti in Florence, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and takes up an entire city block, from Broadway to West End Avenue between 78th and 79th streets.

It was unknown as of this writing if Bell's alleged depression had been impacted by recent market performance.
