Metamorphosis ~ Magnificent Transformation
May 27, 2011
The Lord showed me a butterfly in the process of metamorphosis. This is the process that a caterpillar goes through before it becomes a butterfly. There are four stages in this magnificent transition.
1. In the first stage it starts out as an egg.
2. In the second stage it becomes what is called Larva, which we know to be a caterpillar. This caterpillar hatches from an egg and eats leaves or flowers almost constantly. The caterpillar molts (loses its old skin) many times as it grows.
3. The third stage is called Pupa. The caterpillar enters a pupa phase where it spins a chrysalis or what we know as a cocoon around itself. Chrysalis is also a word that has been derived from the Greek word for gold. This is a resting stage. In the cocoon, the old disintegrates and the new takes form and shape. This cocoon is
also a shield or a protective covering.
4. In the forth and final stage it becomes a beautiful butterfly as it emerges into the air and fly's with ease.
It's Time to Emerge
The Lord says to those of you that are in this time of metamorphic transition, it is time to move on. Many of you have been stuck in your cocoon for too long and you are overdue from breaking out into this magnificent transformation. It is time to come out of this place of convenience. I am calling you to arise to new heights and as your mind is renewed, your life will be transformed.
Come out of your hiding place and emerge from your comfort zone. Do not be afraid to rise above your circumstances. Your time of resting has come to an end and now is the time to rise up into this magnificent creation in to what I have called you to be. Do not be conformed to the ways of the world because what I have for you will surpass anything that this world has to offer. Do not fear the unknown. This is the season to embark on new journeys and enter new dimensions in My kingdom says the Lord.
Romans 12:2 Amp.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
