Hi John
Those of you who grew up in the 60’s and 70’s like me can probably remember watching the Brady Bunch, mastering the “Hula Hoop” and the arrival of the disco era with its feathered hairstyles, polyester suits and “the Hustle.”
And of course one of the major issues we remember from the 70s was the ENERGY CRISIS.
There were images splashed all over the news of people waiting in long lines for hours to get gas, quadrupling prices, stations rationing how much you could get, or some running out of gas altogether.
Well, history is repeating itself, my friend.
Because we’re faced with a modern day energy crisis.
But this time it’s not about oil shortages and rationings.
It’s about bodily energy—YOUR energy.
That’s right—low energy is one of the primary complaints that patients report to their doctors and it’s getting worse—not better.
People in increasing numbers are relying on coffee, soda, 5-hour energy drinks or Stackers just to keep going through their day.
Now, the begging question here is: WHAT’S GOING ON?
Why are so many people dragging through life completely dependent on caffeine and chemicals just to keep their eyeballs open?
Well, the answers are all around us.
You see, there are seven MAJOR factors around you that could be draining YOUR energy and leaving you feeling perpetually pooped (as well as possibly likely overweight and sick too).
Let’s take a look at the “Seven Sneaky Energy Sappers” as well as discuss ways you can counteract them and put more pep in YOUR step—fast!
Sneaky Energy Sapper #1: Overwhelmed immune systems
For most of the history of mankind, chemicals were completely unheard of.
Now? We currently have over 85,000 chemicals in our food, environment and medications!
These are completely foreign to your body, most notably your immune system that has to figure out how to deal with this chemical onslaught and gets stressed to the max as a result.
Plus our guts are suffering the effects of a modern processed food diet and poor digestion, which results in proteins being absorbed into the bloodstream before they’re broken down like they should be. This further taunts your immune system and puts it in overdrive.
The result? You are FAR more susceptible to energy-sapping infections and viruses, as well as food allergies and autoimmune diseases.
How to fight back: In addition to a healthy diet of REAL foods (more on
that below), probiotic supplementation is key. And when it comes to probiotic supplements that are up to the task, Super Shield is your ticket. -http://www.bluerockholistics.com/product/pross.asp Super Shield’s 13 strains of feisty, robust healthy bacteria are ready to help strengthen your gut wall (to help prevent poorly digested foods from sneaking through) as well as beef up and smarten up your immune system (to fight sickness, disease and autoimmune conditions). |
Up until about 130 years ago when Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, the average person got about 9 hours of sleep per night.
Now thanks to lights, TVs, computers and video games (as well as longer and longer workdays) we’re down to an average of 6.5 hours per night….and that’s just not enough for your body and mind to rejuvenate like it needs to.
How to fight back: If you’re a Night Owl, it’s time to change your ways. Turn off the TV, power down the computer and get some decent rest. At least 7- 8 hours a night should be your goal.
Sneaky Energy Sapper #3: Sluggish thyroid or exhausted adrenals
Your thyroid gland is your body’s Grand Central Station of metabolism, and that includes creating energy from your foods.
So if you have low-functioning thyroid (which is becoming increasingly common due to autoimmunity, medications, stress, toxins and heavy metal exposure) you are practically guaranteed to be dragging as a result.
Plus your adrenal glands signal your body to create energy when you are under physical or mental stress.
Problem is, many of us have chronic ongoing stress—and this exhausts our adrenal glands so they can’t do their job as well or at all…and your energy can come crashing down as a result.
How to fight back: If you suspect thyroid or adrenal hormone deficiencies may be an issue for you, it’s time to get your hormone levels tested.
In addition, lowering stress and having a healthy diet (more on those below) are important here too.
Sneaky Energy Sapper #4: Lacking exercise
Exercise leads to an interesting phenomenon--it requires energy, but it also CREATES energy.
You see, as you become more fit, all of your organs work better because they're getting the oxygen and glucose they need and eliminating toxins -- and that means increased energy!
How to fight back: Good news here--you don't need to join a gym!
Even walking at a decent pace for at least 30 minutes is fine. According to research presented by the American Heart Association, women who walked briskly each week reported almost 20 percent MORE energy than their couch potato peers.
So get going!
Sneaky Energy Sapper #5: Nutrient deficiencies
This is a biggie.
Thanks to our nutrient-poor typical diets loaded with processed foods, refined carbs and trans-fats, our poor bodies are suffering from droves of nutrient deficiencies.
Two of the most common deficiencies that can affect your energy level are Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D.
Vitamin B12 is absolutely VITAL for your body to create energy.
Plus Vitamin D is essential for proper immune function and the avoidance of energy-killing autoimmune diseases, viruses and infections.
How to fight back: First of all, remember your body naturally produces Vitamin D when you’re exposed to the sun. Problem is, we’ve been unnecessarily advised to avoid the sun at ALL cost because of the risk of skin cancer.
Brief (NOT excessive) exposure to the sun is healthy—it’s how Nature intended you to get the Vitamin D you need! Spending 10-15 minutes outdoors is all it takes.
Roasting yourself to the point of burning, on the other hand, is never a good idea.
And regarding Vitamin B12—your body needs stomach acids to properly break B12 apart from your foods and absorb it…but since SO many people are on acid reducers, their bodies can’t do this. So it’s no wonder that deficiencies in B12 continue to become more common!
Plus as you age, your stomach acid production can decrease which can also cause B12 deficiency.
Your doctor can do a simple test to see if you're low in B12. If you are and changes to your diet aren't enough, don't just think that pills or shots are your only options. B12 pills have been shown to have limited absorbency rates and shots are painful and expensive.
Instead there is another very effective option for B12 supplementation
that costs far less than shots, is convenient and has far better absorbency
than pills. It's Hydroxaden 2.5. - http://www.bluerockholistics.com/product/hydroxaden.asp Hydroxaden 2.5 is a simple to use Vitamin B12 spray that gives you the 2.5 mg of B12 (in the form of hydroxocobalamin) suggested by many nutrition experts. Just five quick sprays under your tongue each day is all it takes. |
All of us have stress in our lives at one time or another, but sadly for many people, it's chronic.
In addition to taxing your adrenal glands like I mentioned above, one of the biggest problems caused by consistently high levels of stress it that it harms your gut flora, where 70% of your immune system happens to reside.
This makes you more susceptible to bacterial infections, viruses and sicknesses of all kinds--and when your body is desperately trying to fight repeated cycles of illness, that leaves no energy left for YOU.
So if you find yourself getting one sickness after another and have non-existent energy, it's time to start de-stressing.
How to fight back: Effective stress relievers include taking up a hobby, adopting a pet, counseling with a skilled therapist, prayer, meditation, aromatherapy, deep breathing, acupuncture, massage therapy and yoga.
Sneaky Energy Sapper #7: Poor digestion
This is the Granddaddy of them all.
Nothing your body does demands more energy than digestion.
So if yours is not going along so well, you can forget having anything that even closely resembles a level of energy.
Now, the key to having good digestion is to eat meals that your body can easily digest and make sure you have enough enzymes to do the job.
Unfortunately, the typical meals that most people eat could not be digested efficiently even if their GI tract was as strong as the 1970’s Pittsburgh Steelers defensive line!
And since their systems expend lots of enzymes trying to break down difficult meals like this, they can get to the point where their bodies can't produce enough enzymes anymore.
How to fight back: The winning team of Great Taste
No Pain and Digestizol
Max can help turn around a cycle of poor digestion...fast. The Great Taste No Pain health system can show you how to structure high-energy, easy to digest meals that are made from nutrient-rich REAL foods and taste positively fantastic! - http://www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp And Digestizol Max enzyme formula can pinch-hit where your body might be running low in enzymes. - http://www.bluerockholistics.com/product/dmax.asp When you eat combinations of foods that can be broken down efficiently by your stomach and intestines, and give your body the enzyme help it might need, your system doesn't NEED to use up all your energy for digestion. |
If you’re suffering from a “personal energy crisis,” it’s time to turn that around NOW!
When you take a look at all the ways your energy might be “rationed,” and more importantly DO something about it, then you can see your energy crisis come to an end FAST!
To your health,
Sherry Brescia
I'm fortunate that I found you early. For a number of years I've experienced lower GI upsets and just thought it was a temporary reaction to a particular food - although I couldn't see any particular item that was setting me 'off' and presumed that eating out and travel meant picking up some food bugs along the way.
When some pain began in my lower left abdomen region this year, I mentioned it to my doctor. At age 61 she informed me I was overdue for a colonoscopy - ugh! Voila – mild diverticular disease of the lower left colon. Eat more fiber was the advice.
I hit the internet and got confused - then found your website and ordered your Great Taste No Pain System. When I informed my husband he wasn't happy about changing his habits, but since he's been on Losec for almost 10 years for acid reflux, he was willing to try the system.
We have had huge changes happen for both of us. Bloating is a thing of the past, my husband has dropped weight without any effort, my digestive and elimination has become wonderfully normal - and so has his.
He decided to try giving up the Losec and has had no trouble with reflux/GERD at all – before if he would miss one day he was miserable.
We're happy campers! It's been so easy and we're especially enjoying tons of extra energy and better sleeping - great bonuses!
Thank you for the work you're doing - you're making a wonderful difference in the world.
Blessings,
Susan
