He said it was as if it were somehow being diverted to inner earth. The next thing I knew was that the man had died suddenly and I heard little more about it as if it were being covered up. I don't recall where it was in Oregon but there were stories in the scandal sheets of the day and just as word was getting out the story suddenly disappeared and the man who had found this place died.
