I haven't gotten sunburned since I started eating a diet high in antioxidants and low in oxidants, even though I still get plenty of sun and don't use sunscreen. Plus I'm fair-skinned. So I believe anti-oxidants protect us from sunburn.
Vitamin D Deficiency
Reviewed by Maryann Tomovich Jacobsen, MS, RD on May 22, 2016
If you shun the sun, suffer from milk allergies, or adhere to a strict vegan diet, you may be at risk for vitamin D deficiency. Known as the sunshine vitamin, vitamin D is produced by the body in response to skin being exposed to sunlight. It is also occurs naturally in a few foods -- including some fish, fish liver oils, and egg yolks -- and in fortified dairy and grain products.
Vitamin D is essential for strong bones, because it helps the body use calcium from the diet. Traditionally, vitamin D deficiency has been associated with rickets, a disease in which the bone tissue doesn't properly mineralize, leading to soft bones and skeletal deformities. But increasingly, research is revealing the importance of vitamin D in protecting against a host of health problems.
Symptoms and Health Risks of Vitamin D Deficiency
Symptoms of bone pain and muscle weakness can mean you have a vitamin D deficiency. However, for many people, the symptoms are subtle. Yet, even without symptoms, too little vitamin D can pose health risks. Low blood levels of the vitamin have been associated with the following:
Increased risk of death from cardiovascular disease
Cognitive impairment in older adults
Severe asthma in children
Cancer
Isn't it amazing that the very thing that "they" say the sun screen is protecting you
from (cancer) is what you end up getting. It appears that what "they" are brainwashing people about using sunscreen for is actually a part of the depopulation agenda. It seems that with chemicals in the sunscreen which are endocrine disruptors is going to sterilize all of those children who the parents are slathering sunscreen on. The glyphosate which is the chemical used in Roundup is also an endocrine disruptor and is doing things to the frogs and other water creatures, etc., and also to the cattle that are eating gmo foods sprayed with roundup. (people too)
As a guinea pig myself, I have found that never using sunscreen works for me. I spend time out in the sun with no sunscreen and the melanin in my skin protects me and no I do not have cancer and yes I have not used sunscreen for over 50 years. And for sunburn, use as close to 100% pure aloe vera for relief and healing. If it is not severe burns. Otherwise you may have to find another solution. Look up natural remedies, or if it is too severe (and I don't like to recommend this) you might have to see a doctor. Find a natural health doctor if possible. Use moderation when out in the sun, drink water, maybe some vitamin water for the electrolytes, eat some celctic sea salt on your food so you don't lose the salt in your body, etc.
