The Grow Network: Mugwort tea contains several cups of medicine

Interesting tidbit: Back in World War II, when tea became a pricey luxury, mugwort was used as a tea substitute in some parts of England. Now, we know that a pot of mugwort tea contains several cups of medicine: excellent to help with gas, stomach acid, bile production, and overall digestion.
A self-seeding perennial, mugwort is easy to grow and has a number of valuable uses as food and medicine.
No wonder our piece on “7 Uses for Mugwort” nabbed the #6 spot in our Best of 2018 countdown!
And, if you're a fan of tea, you're definitely going to be interested in tomorrow's installment in our Best of 2018. It's not only about infusions, but it recommends licorice root tea as a treatment for a common winter ailment.
Can you guess which article made #5 on our list? ;-)
